i picked sumaya ‘cause it was gonna be my actual name, but then my parents decided otherwise, so it’s not my real name. i wanted to separate my real life from my tumblr-life and thought, ‘what’s a name that still holds some semblance of me?’ and then i remembered the name i was going to be given!

i’m also pretty sure sumaya’s an arabic name 🌝

but aside from the pseudonym, everything else about my life that i randomly tell you guys on here is real 😋
