Absent from the body, present with the Lord. On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, David Marshall Price entered into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ whom he so faithfully served.
David was born March 4, 1940 in Newport News, VA, to Clarence Marshall and Pearl Owens Price. He realized at a young age that Christ Jesus came to earth to take the punishment for our wrongdoings and while sitting on top of a gravestone in the cemetery of Denbigh Baptist Church he prayed and accepted God’s free gift of salvation.
He graduated from Bob Jones University in 1965, and with his wife, Marilyn, began his lifetime of service to God. He began as a youth pastor of Dandy Baptist Church in the community of Dandy, VA. While serving at Dandy he worked at the Newport News Shipyard and Dry Dock on nuclear submarines. From there he became the first missionary sent from Servicemen For Christ (now Armed Forces Baptist Missions), and the family moved to Petersburg, VA, where he ministered to the service personnel at Fort Lee. The family moved back to Newport News where he was then the pastor at Dandy Baptist Church, and in 1972 he accepted the pastorate at York Baptist Temple in Grafton, VA. In 1977, God called him to Landmark Baptist Church and Christian School in Easley, SC where he spent the next 25 years. His great passion was for young people and missions. Throughout his years of ministry, their home was always welcoming to missionaries and many close friendships were made with missionaries from around the world.
He was the most amazing son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and uncle. He cherished all his family - aunts, uncles, and cousins- and was in return, treasured by all his family. He will forever be in our hearts through the life lessons he taught us and the countless memories we made together. Although we already will miss him dearly, we trust in the blessed hope of the promise of God that we will see him again one day.
He leaves behind his precious wife of 59 years, Marilyn; his son, Mark (Sandy) of Easley; daughters, Sherri of Liberty, and Connie Siver (Pernell), of Juneau, AK; grandchildren who were the apples of his eyes: David Graham Price, Annagrace Patterson (Austin), Madison Kate Siver, Craig Myers (Angel), and Jennifer Bearden (Jesse); great-grandchildren who adored their Poppa, Nathaniel David Wayne and Ezekiel Robert Lee Patterson, Natalie Claire and Josie Kate Bearden, and one on the way, Oaklyn Ruth Myers; one brother, Ron Price (Ann) and sister-in-law, Donna Price; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Wayne Price, and an infant sister.
Visitation will be Friday, March 4th, at Calvary Baptist Church, 8008 Liberty Highway, Liberty, SC from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. His Homegoing service will be Saturday, March 5th, at Calvary Baptist Church at 2:00 pm.
For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed through the Howze Mortuary beginning at 1:50 p.m. at www.facebook.com/thehowzemortuary.
Memorials may be given to the Mission Fund of Calvary Baptist Church.

Bruce Wayne’s arch nemesis was recently snapped at Henry County Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where he helped Brittany Selph deliver her baby girl Oaklyn, and on Halloween no less. OK, so it wasn’t actually The Joker, but it sure did look like him! The man behind the mask was in fact doctor Paul Locus, an obstetrician who happened to be on duty in full Halloween gear when the expectant couple arrived to give birth. Paul offered to remove his outfit but Brittany and her husband Joseph weren’t about to lose the chance to have their daughter delivered by the creepy green-haired villain! “We couldn’t help but laugh, when he walked in the room!” Justin said. “My wife, being the open-minded woman, with a sense of humor, thought it would be hilarious to have such a unique delivery.” The pictures were posted online by a cousin of Brittany’s, and they soon went viral for a very good reason! Name: Poppy Dillon
Age: 21 (March 24th, 1998)
Birthplace: Frostford, Alabama
Occupation: Unemployed
Residency: Born and raised
Family
Parents: Dean and Jeanie Dillon
Siblings: Fallon (21), Kayleigh (6), Oaklyn (6), Ayden (6)
Cousins: Open
About
Poppy and her fraternal twin sister, Fallon, were both born and raised in Frostford. Their mother started a popular Christian-Mom Blog in the early 2000s when the girls were young, documenting their lives and being on the forefront of what would be the social media domination once smart phones came into existence. Their lives were on display and orchestrated in such an artificial way. Jeanie would only truly parent when eyes were on her, her blog filled with fictitious interventions and memories that never happened. The twins learned to become independent and care for themselves.
While Fallon had her conspiracies to distract her from broadcasted, fake life, Poppy wasn’t as easily distracted. She always wanted to be the preppy girl who enjoyed Instagram, who was a cheerleader, who was always perfectly coiffed. She had the snark and cattiness of the Mean Girl, but she forced herself to stop the stereotype there. If she presented as “the perfect daughter” then her mom was bound to document it and take credit for it. So Poppy refused to go to homecoming because she didn’t want the Homecoming Queen crown to be exploited by her mom. She didn’t take senior photos because she didn’t want them on the blog. She wanted her own privacy, or her own life to be displayed on her own terms.
In the 2010s, her mother’s blog began to lose hits. The Dillons had two, strange teenage daughters who were not exciting to write about or photograph. Dozens of other, well-produced Christian Family blogs had surfaced and will little baby feet and smiles to keep people intrigued. Jeanie underwent in-vitro fertilization, because it was too difficult to become pregnant at her age. She blogged about how God had “graced her with triplets” and boasted about how it happened naturally, and how through her love of God, anything was possible. Her blog hits spiked back up and more money came through the blog than before. Jeanie became obsessed with touring, brand deals, and partnerships. Poppy and Fallon saw their mom return to her old ways of not actually raising her kids but treating them as dolls and props for her blog. The twins were old enough to step in and raise the triplets themselves.
Poppy refused to go to university (one less thing for her mom to brag about) and chose to live at home and raise her younger siblings. She may have turned out to be a brat, but she’d be damned if the triplets faced the same complexes as her. They were going to be raised to be normal kids, or face living out of a shed and raving about ‘chem trails’ like Fallon, or sacrificing their lives like Poppy so that their mom had nothing to blog about. But Poppy didn’t stop there. In an effort to live at home and evade any sort of bills or costs, Poppy regularly threatens to expose her mom for her in-vitro treatments (and her feigned gluten allergy...that’s another story) in exchange for money, new phones, cars. Poppy is all but a live-in nanny for her younger siblings, simply mooching off of her narcissistic mother. She doesn’t currently have any passions professionally, assuming she’ll eventually marry someone well-off enough to support her lifestyle.

This Is What Happens When You Deliver A Baby On Halloween
Batman gets all the credit for being an awesome guy, but while he might be good at kicking ass and keeping the world safe, you don’t see him delivering babies, do you? No, but as you can see from these awesome pictures, The Joker clearly has a softer side that the Caped Crusader.
Bruce Wayne’s arch nemesis was recently snapped at Henry County Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where he helped Brittany Selph deliver her baby girl Oaklyn, and on Halloween no less. Would you have your baby delivered by The Joker? Let us know in the comments below!
Giving birth is already a pretty traumatic experience, but how about having The Joker deliver your child?
That’s precisely what happened in Nashville recently when Brittany Selph went to the hospital to give birth
She’d gone into labor on Halloween, and she arrived to find the doctor dressed as Batman’s arch nemesis
“We couldn’t help but laugh, when he walked in the room!” said her husband Justin
The doctor offered to remove his costume but the couple said no way!
“My wife, being the open-minded woman, with a sense of humor, thought it would be hilarious to have such a unique delivery”
Why so serious? These guys certainly weren’t!

After Church, my mother-in-law took us out to Ruley's Santa Claus Land and we looked at all the Christmas lights and Oaklyn rode the train with her cousin, Jillian, and then again with her sissy. https://www.instagram.com/p/BrmL8KcnOQIki3yVkrpfgxfFbqyGIJpycCmmpg0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1c8e3u27jwsx4
