idek how to word it but I’ve always seen it as that Crowfeathers love interests, rather than actually liking him like they think they, they are just attached to what they think they can get from him.

I refuse to believe that Feathertail had any romantic interest in Crowfeather. I am NOT talking about her.

Leafpool was starting to feel lonely and unneeded in ThunderClan, and then boom, Crowfeather came along.

Nightcloud wanted a husband and children and she just latched onto the worst possible guy for that.

Even Tawnypelt, who feels disrespected by her entire clan and doesn’t feel attached to it anymore, didn’t start thinking about him like that at all, until he made it obvious that he respected her.

#and this in itself is not really a crowfeather dunk from me bc i think this interpretation makes him and his relationships more interesting #king of doomed miserable loveless relationships. most divorcable warrior cat #i do prefer feathertail not reciprocating but i think she did genuinely like and care about him #maybe not romantically but does more than leafpool thinks she loves him or than nightcloud wants to love him #we dont even know if he'll reciprocate tawny's feelings or even if she'll confess #im PRESUMING he likely will given the setup but i can easily see the erins having him turn her down #but regardless. i think something in the way crowfeather is and presents himself has this very projectable allure #he's unconventional and mysterious (because he's miserable and pushes everyone in his life away unless it's convienent)#he seems interested in them (because he's lonely and wants a girlfriend so bad but nobody fits the very specific ideal he's after)
