i love that eddie loves a bit. and sometimes buck riffs back, like when eddies pouring the water and says “he you go sir” in his waiter voice and buck says “oh well thank you, can you list the specials tonight?” and eddies looks up DELIGHTED and he’s like oh! of course let’s see. we have our house favorite, kissing in the kitchen. and bucks like mmhmm ☺️ chin in hands, and eddie continues. and we have chefs special: Take Out, and buck laughs, and eddie continues. and we have our Friday special which is. only for our exclusive guests. (and he’s leaning in) and bucks eyes start to look darker while he leans in too smiling “yeah?” and eddies like “yeah the Friday special is. me going on break and getting to know my hottest customer better..(they’re inches from each other) and buck, closing the gap btwn them says, “remind me to give this place a 5 star review” and then they kiss yay.

Just talked to Alistair about templars and lyrium. How they dont even really need lyrium to perform their duties and he's also not even convinced it makes them more effective. Horrifying.

Like it's always been horrifying but going through origins after playing veilguard, knowing what I know about lyrium and everything.... makes it so much more fucked up. The chantry ruins the templars' minds for power and control and they don't even give a single shit. They're making their templars drink the blood of titans so that they never leave the order. Keeping them high off of the source of life at all times. And then making them perform blood magic and beat up a bunch of kids and kill them. And they don't even know. They don't even know what lyrium is or how it works or where it comes from. Not really. They think they do but they don't know anything about it. And they're drinking it. Smoking it even, based on what Cullen's lyrium kit looks like.

Whats worse is the way it's all glossed over. They've been doing it for so long they don't even see it as strange. Just another part of life under the chantry, and the chantry is never wrong. The chantry is so much better than all those OTHER and BARBARIC modes of government. The chantry doesn't harm its followers, it's too pure and ignorant and cares too much. It cares so much you can never truly leave it behind. You must stay. Stay and protect the world from the REAL problem. Magic.

guess who's FINALLY watched season 7 of the walking dead!!! it only took 8 years ahahahahahahahahahahaha (i was one of the people who stopped watching after season 6 </3 sdfghj)

my verdict is: absence makes the heart grow fonder. and after the shit that's being released these days (like 8 episode seasons), i actually really enjoyed a lot of this season. the slow pace is pretty refreshing. there were some bits that dragged on. but i can't overstate how much i hate the monstrosity of a mop on jadis...... it made me lose my mind when i watched the ones who live without context so imagine the horror i had when she showed up in season 7........ AND SOMEHOW HER HAIR WAS WORSE????? but anyways moving on.... there's just something about this show man. i'll love it forever. it's my emotional support show fr

my seniors have been so quiet all year and it’s been fine cause we’ve had a lot of writing/research to do but I need them to talk to me now so i was hit by a bolt of inspiration two days ago and I made them all tell me their comfort level with sharing aloud, rating themselves on a scale of 1-10. I then averaged the class score and they’re a 4.5. I then told them yesterday we needed to raise the score the tiniest bit. And the 1’s and 2’s didn’t need to be 10’s just maybe 3’s and 4’s. And they tried! They talked more 😭
