Your dad would absolutely kill you if he knew what, no who, you were doing right now.
Not that it was really any of his business who you slept with or dated, but you don’t want to think too hard about his reaction to his former rival/current somewhat best friend, if they even considered each other that, being the one who has you walking like a newborn deer in the mornings.
But it’s not just a secret from your dad. No one knows.
It’s beyond inappropriate, and maybe it shouldn’t be, but unfortunately it is. Despite the fact that you’re a grown woman, met him as a grown woman, you know someone will have some sort of comment that you are being taken advantage of.
So the two of you keep it to yourselves. In quiet moments in his living room or your kitchen, stolen kisses in the early mornings in the grocery store that’s open 24/7 just down the block from your apartment.
Or moments like this, in your bedroom.
He’s been in between your thighs, licking and sucking at your for what feels like hours.
Every so often, he’ll add two fingers into the mix, quickly bringing you to the edge when he finds that spot inside of you and repeatedly applies just the right amount of pressure.
He’s digging his nails into your thighs hard enough to leave marks as his tongue dives in and out of you, your hips moving ever so slightly to follow it every moment it leaves your dripping hole.
His eyes bore into yours as he drags his mouth up your slit to latch back onto your clit, sucking on it like his life depends on it.
“Fuck,” It comes out a breathy gasp, and his eyes are locked on your swollen lips.
“Yeah?” He pulls his face away from your center, “You like that baby?”
“Mhm,” You nod, tears glittering your eyes as you pout at him, “I’d like your cock more, though.”
Jack stops for a brief moment, eyes narrowing at you.
“I thought we decided you were done being a brat?”
His tone is rough, and it makes you throb.
“‘M not being a brat. I’m just a girl who knows exactly what she wants, is all.”
His face is right next to yours now, with narrowed eyes that hold a gleam you’ve come to know all too well.
“Is that so?”
Before you can respond, his mouth is pressed against yours.
Your hands tangle in the curls at the nape of his neck, gasping when he bites your lip so he can force his tongue into your mouth.
He groans into your mouth when your hand moves to palm at his throbbing cock through his black briefs.
His mouth moves to your neck, sucking and biting sharply, taking in all the little noises that leave your mouth.
“You gonna be a good girl for me, baby?” He mumbles hotly in your ear, biting the lobe as his clothed cock grinds against your bare, throbbing cunt.
“Yes, yes. Oh-“
He has you flipped over before your mind can process the movement.
Jack pulls his briefs down just enough to free his cock from them.
You whine out when you feel the tip prod at your sopping hole twice, kicking your legs in frustration when he pulls his cock away from you.
“You’ve been a bad, bad girl, baby.” He sits back slightly, his weight holding your lower body still as his calloused hands spread your ass cheeks apart before landing a harsh slap on your left cheek.
“Oh!” You moan out sharply.
“Naughty pictures left in my wallet,” Another slap on your right cheek.
“lacy panties in my scrub pants,” The next slap on your left cheek is harder than the last two, and it causes you to cry out.
His hand quickly soothes the sting.
“and who can forget the texts you sent me when I was out drinking with my coworkers, with your dad,”
His right hand is tangled in your hair as he yanks your head back, casung a gasp to leave your mouth.
His cups his left hand under your mouth, “Spit.” It’s harsh, demanding.
Pursing your lips, you let a glob of spit fall from your mouth and fall into his palm.
He releases his grip on your hair, letting your head fall into your pillow.
His left hand quickly grips his cock, rubbing your spit in, “Fuuuck,”
Your hips wiggle back, desperate to help guide him inside you.
His right hand swats your ass, eyes rolling back at the moan that leaves your mouth, left hand moving faster up and down his cock
“You’ve been bad-” He cuts himself off with a deep breath out, “bad girls don’t get cock.”
You could cry, fuck, you start tearing up at the thought.
“No, no, no. Please, please give it to me.”
“Give it to you?”
“Yes, yes, yes. Please,” His free thumb traces your slit, rubbing your clit in two hard circles, causing you to moan out loudly, “I promise I’ll be good.”
He barks out a laugh, voice dropping, “Yeah, bet you will.”
He places just the tip of his cock inside you, but doesn’t move further.
At least he doesn’t move his cock further into you.
You can hear him moving his hand, jerking off his cock, can feel the way his tip throbs, barely inside you.
“Fuck, that’s it.”
It’s borderline sadistic, the way the pathetic noises that leave your mouth are making him feel. The way you’re begging and begging for more.
“Oh?” His tone is condescending, and though you can’t see it, but his head is tilted to the side.
“You need more? Is that right?”
Finally, he takes his left hand away from his cock, placing both hands back on your ass cheeks, to once again pull them apart.
His eyes close as he watches the way your soaking cunt stretches around his cock, “That’s it, isn’t it, baby?”
You clench down at his tone, because if nothing else will show it, his voice will always show the true effect that you have on him.
His hips finally meet your ass, and your eyes are rolled into the back of your head.
“Oh god,”
He leans down to press his chest against your back, skin sticking to your as he breathes heavily in your ear as his hips repeatedly meet your ass and his cock hits that one spot in you over and over and over.
“Fuck, maybe you can be a good girl. Huh?” He grunts into your ear, biting at the cartlidge before he wraps his arm around your neck, squeezing lightly.
“You’re my good girl, aren’tcha? Huh, my good baby?”
You nod frantically, gasping as he tightens his hold around your neck slightly.
“I-I-‘m so good, s-so good,” Drool and tears are falling down your face as your core tightens around him, signalling your impending orgasm.
“Oh?” He beings trusting harder, “Are you going to cum for me? Huh? Cum on my cock?”
You don’t have an opportunity to respond, the only thing leaving your mouth is a broken moan as you cum around him.
He fucks you through it before going just a little harder, just a little deeper, for one, two, three, four more thrusts before his thick cum is filling you in heavy spurts, painting your insides a creamy white.
He rests his weight on you, forehead pressed against the back of your head as he mumbles sweet nothings to you, rubbing your shaking body up and down.
When he finally lifts himself off of you and pulls his cock from your sensitive pussy, he lays next to you, pulling you to his chest as he catches his breath.
“Do you want me to cook you dinner?”
His question is quite, and you groan and shake your head, “Let’s just order chinese.”
He laughs, “If that’s what you want.”
You pull away to look at him, sleepy smile on your pretty face. His hand quickly finds your jaw, gently tracing your features from your brow to your nose to your lips.
Jack pinches you lightly when you bite him, but then leans up to give your lips a small kiss before reaching for his phone to place a takeout order at your favorite chinese restaurant.
Both of you go deathly still when you hear the door to you apartment open, knowing only one other person has a key.
“Honey? You here?” You and Jack are both wide eyed at the muffled sound of your dad’s voice.

Ms Independent: John Frost x Reader

Summary: Your history causes you to struggle when John asks to take care of you.
Companion piece to:
Bloody - John meets his soulmate during a bloody day in the ED.
All Work, No Play - You're suprised when John asks you out on a date.
Flowers - John leaves you a birthday gift.
Prequel to:
Such a Good Boy - John is confronted with a face from his past.
Our Little Secret - Ainsley traps John in a position he really doesn't want to be in.
On The Roof - John opens up to you about what happened.
Tumblr media
Working Oncology, it’s not for the faint of heart. The position takes an emotional toll that other doctors don’t experience when they’re working in their respective fields because you live that journey with your patient, celebrating their triumphs, mourning their lows.
Today has been a bad day, he can tell from the fact you haven’t been returning his texts.
Sometimes you shut down when shitty things happen, it’s the way that you survive when the bad days outweigh the good.
When he takes the elevator up to your office he finds you lying on the small couch with your eyes closed, doing those deep breathing exercises therapy has taught you to practise for mindfulness.
Before him you had a Work Hard and nothing else mentality. It makes you an excellent doctor, top of your field but it also leads to burn out and that’s where you’d been headed. Since him the balance has shifted, you laugh a lot more, go out on dates. The two of you have fun together and that defuses the overriding desire to work yourself into the ground.
He sets his rucksack on the floor before approaching the couch, his eyes fixed on the raise and fall of your chest as you inhale for five seconds and release for five seconds. He kneels down alongside you, his palm smoothing over your hair as your eyes flicker open meeting his. He can see the turmoil in you, he can feel it viscerally as if it’s his own.
“Let me take care of you tonight.” He whispers, his thumb chasing over the blush of your cheek. “I’ll run you a bath, cook dinner while you soak-”
“I can’t ask you to do that.” You say softly and John’s heart, it hurts.
The thing about you…
You’ve been on your own for a very long time, ever since you’re parents dumped you into the foster system because they couldn’t deal with your own childhood cancer. The money, the care regime it was too much for a couple who were already overworked with three other kids under five. Your brothers and sister, don’t even know you exist because they were too young to remember you. Dealing with that, it’s made you fiercely independent but it’s hard for you to accept help, to trust those that offer it.
“You are not asking anything of me.” He tells you, the left side of his mouth quirking up into a tender smile. “I want to be with you tonight, to hold you, to love you, to give you whatever you need to help you work through this.”
Silence hangs in the air for a minute, John never takes his eyes off your face, he doesn’t stop running this fingers through your hair. He can tell you’re studying him right now, trying to gauge his sincerity.
“Chocolate.” You say finally and the tension in his shoulders relaxs. “If we’re going to your place. I need chocolate and a weighted blanket.”
“Well luckily I have both.” John says raising to his feet and holding out his hand. “You ready to come home with me?”
“Yeah.” You say reaching out and taking his hand. “Yeah, I’m ready.”

can u tell me abt ur au's liu a little bit
- 🥸 definitely not machine in a trench coat
hiiiiii stranger whos not machine ^_^ <33
ok so. liu is a huge WIP imma be real. him and jeff keep changing a LOT cuz 1. my irl friends and i made a crp AU and their faves ended up being jeff and liu so i keep getting swayed by their HCs even tho they conflict my own 2. the woods brothers have always been kinda unfinished/half assed in my AU and im tryna catch up.
SO IM GONNA USE THIS POST TO HELP ME MESSILY ORGANIZE MY THOUGHTS
SO.............unfortunately, liu's character is VERY reliant on jeff's. So I’ll keep bringing up Jeff. Soz
they're half brothers, same mom. Born and raised New Jersey
i'm imagining a whole messy thing with their parents. i'm still indecisive if i want their mom to cheat on liu's dad, resulting in jeffs birth, and they tried to sweep it under the rug for the family's image. regardless, liu's biological dad still raised both boys, and he's the one jeff kills when jeff goes on his rampage
this is mostly cuz i want jeff's dad to be a deadbeat who ends up in jail, while liu's dad maintains a better image. hence the whole golden child, black sheep thing going on with the brothers.
SO. Yeah, again, liu is the golden child. while jeff's getting caught bullying kids as young as 7, liu's getting decent grades, has a nice set of friends, is excitedly planning for college, etc. he's not extraordinary by any means, but he's doing good
he's also just like...genuinely a good person, he really really really cares for jeff and sees the good in him. he knows jeff is struggling, he knows jeff lives with heavy guilt and resentment regarding his family, there's always that unspoken tension of his father. and liu is jeff's #1 defender, even when jeff genuinely doesn't deserve it
HOWEVER. i dont think 'glass child' is the right term for their situation specifically, but something along those lines. liu IS incredibly overlooked because of how much jeff acts out. and even when he IS acknowledged for his good, it seems to always be an intentional attack on jeff. "liu's so smart, why can't you be like that?" "you're so reckless, have you ever seen liu do something that stupid before?" "go ask your brother for help, he knows better" . . . which impacts jeff more, obviously, but it still leaves liu with a lot of guilt, shame, anxiety, self esteem issues, cuz why is he only good in comparison? why isn't he good on his own? then he feels guilty for feeling guilty cuz at least he's not in jeffs shoes. he just feels like hes got a lotta mundane issues. at least they're not jeffs, right ?
Anyway. He was prepping for college but when he took the fall for Jeff attacking Randy, it fucked up his university acceptance and he just went to a local community college to try and build some credits and a GPA and resume. I’m. It’s 12am I’m. Anything after this is just me rambling don’t take it seriously ever at all
Trying so hard to finish this draft I’m so tired um. I’m not sure if he goes to college before or after Jeff’s first rampage n I’m too lazy to check.
Regardless, he ends up transferring, getting some sort of vague business degree, and getting a very mundane office job. Probably ran errands for a long time, getting coffee and whatnot. Felt very…. Lost? All things considered
Anyhow. Somewhere in this he starts dating some guy and they fall in love and whatnot and lius healing and he assumes Jeff’s dead cuz how te hell is he still alive . None of Jeff’s ‘famous murders’ are around (aka the smiles and go to sleep written on walls) so he thinks he’s done.
And then the Arkensaw case happens.
Liu spirals. Ruins everything. He gets so anxious and paranoid and depressed he ends up losing his job. Hes planning ways to go to Alabama, where the Arkensaw case happened
Fiance is like heeeeellll nooooo im not going to Alabama wtf r u on. Liu is like well I’m going regardless. Fisnce is like if you go I’m calling off the wedding. Liu is so hurt it just pushes him further
By time he ends up in Alabama he realizes he’s right back at the bottom of the corporate ladder, lost tons of savings, and doesn’t even wanna find Jeff anymore. Just wants to move on . Can’t afford to move again

you know what. if we’re imagining Fox as being 17-19 then offering her french toast was actually a genius move on the Bizzies’ part. because from experience the number 1 way to get a teenager to trust you is to give them free food
#fox being a teenager is something that is so important to me#when it’s not making me feel sick to my stomach#bc like that age range specifically has a lot of people in their 20s being like oh you’re a baby#and then there’s like well yeah I know i’m young but it’s hard to feel young when this is the oldest you’ve ever been#and that’s where i think fox’s want to prove herself comes from. she’s like i know i’m young but i am capable#but like she doesn’t understand how young she is because how could she#that being said i don’t think the warriors infantilise her#like she was picked to go to the meeting. I just think there’s some sort of we won’t send fox on that mission with an unspoken we think#she’s too young to handle it#but like it’s tangible enough that she tries to make herself seem older (i’ve spoken about the difference in how she says her name before)#also there’s no way they infantilise fox bc she clearly respects them. implying that they do treat her as an adult#that’s part of why I don’t like the whole mother figure cleon thing starting to float around#that i fear will inevitably be part of her fanon characterisation#bc 1) there is like at most a 13 year age difference between her and fox. she could not be her mother#and 2) the warriors are more than just those 7 like they run coney. i just really don’t think all those members would respect a leader who#morhers them. and then also she’s so cool. and i think eventually ‘mother figure’ characterisation will ignore canon that she is incredible#and i do think the warriors (or at least the 7) are probably really close. but like thats bc they’re all friends#this might be hypocritical of me bc i believe i was the first person to talk about the swan/cleon sister agenda#but that’s different. you understand. seeing one person as a sister is different to seeing a whole group of people as your children#i would apologise for putting the whole post in the tags but we all know it will happen again and i am not one for empty apologies#warriors musical

The engine roars in your ears as you bolt across the finish line, your car skidding and screeching to a halt. The cheers and claps of the crowd rise to an almost deafening crescendo, and you grip the steering wheel tight with furrowed brows, being able to feel how sweaty your forehead had become, adrenaline still surging through your veins as you pant heavily. A quick glance at the leaderboard tells you the result:
Second. Fucking. Place.
You grit your teeth, rather aggressively slamming the door shut, and getting out of the car. Yanking off your helmet, you storm over to where Kang Taehyun, your ever-calm, teammate, was leaning casually against the pit wall, sipping on his water bottle from the last round he had just raced himself. You on the other hand, are seconds away from combusting.
“Fuck him.” You seethe and grumble, arms crossed as both of your gazes switch to focus on Choi Beomgyu in the centre, soaking up the spotlight a few metres away, gesturing animatedly for the cameras with sparkling eyes, a stupid smirk and very satisifed look on his face as he tucked his helmet under one arm. He’s surrounded and swarmed by reporters with god knows how many microphones shoved in his face who hang onto his every single word like he was some goddamn deity.
He basks in it, always loved the attention. You wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to win every race solely for the purpose of being met with cameras and praises at the end. It’s like he got off on that shit. Attention seeker.
“What a fucking nepo baby.” You scoff and taehyun laughs, always amused for your hate towards Choi Beomgyu. But it was true, he was only here because his father was a famous legendary racer back in the day, his racing career practically gift wrapped by him at a young age. Choi Beomgyu had everything handed to him on a silver platter whilst you had to claw your way through to get where you are now. But, it seems to be that you’re the only one who has a problem with him. Everyone else adores him, the 'golden boy'.
“Oh—hehe. Stop it. Thank you! Yeah, honestly it’s all about hard work.” You hear him gush and chuckle in faux shyness and humbleness, waving his hand dismissively, eyes shaped into little crescent moons and running a hand through his long soft brown hair. “But I don’t think I’m that good personally heh.”
You can’t help how hard your eyes roll at that, muttering more insults under your breath only taehyun can hear who's certainly more than entertained. “Hardwork, my ass. His daddy got him connections and sponsorships, that’s why. He thinks he can just waltz in with that stupid smile and—oh my god, he’s winking at me. I’m going to fucking kill him.”
Sure enough, Beomgyu catches your eye roll and winks your way before saying something to the reporters that makes them hysterically laugh. The audacity. You have half the mind of walking over there and strangling him right in front of the cameras. That surely wouldn’t end your career right? Or worse yet, put you in prison.
As the crowd around him finally disperses and fizzles out, Beomgyu confidently saunters over to you and taehyun, helmet still tucked under his arm and still grinning annoyingly.
“Oh no.” Taehyun chuckles, throwing a knowing look your way and nodding to the direction of beomgyu, “Incoming.”
“Fuck my life.” You mutter, taking a big breath in, bracing yourself for the worst.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t my favourite fan.” Beomgyu’s grin widens as he reaches you, snickering. He ignores your scoff in return, turning to taehyun instead with a smile and clapping his back. “Hey, Tae. Drinks after this? A bunch of us are going.”
“Yeah, I’m in. Congrats on first place today by the way.” Taehyun replies giving him a bro hug. To this day, you still can’t understand how taehyun can stand him. But Beomgyu has a lot of friends, and like you said, you really are the only one who dislikes him.
“How can you even hang out with him?” You make the most disgusted face you can muster towards Beomgyu to show the pure utter hatred you feel to him.
Beomgyu practically puffs out his chest, already expecting to be backed up and stood up against by taehyun.
Taehyun shrugs, “He grows on you. I guess.”
“Yeah, like a nasty mould.”
Beomgyu deflates, taking great offence, mouth hanging open and frowning, pouting at the both of you now laughing and high-fiving each other.
Beomgyu’s intense gaze then returns back to you. Taehyun, addressing the situation, and knowing how both your bantering can escalate, sees it’s best to leave, walking away to leave you alone with the cockroach. “Right, so as entertaining as this has been, I’m going to go now…preferably anywhere else...”
“What about you, y/n? No congratulations?” Beomgyu mocks and sighs boastfully once Taehyun has left. His voice dripping with that sickeningly playful lilt that always makes your blood boil. “No heartfelt speech on how I inspire you to be better? But hey, second place isn’t so bad.”
You narrow your eyes, standing up straight. “You won by, like,” you scoff, “a millisecond at best. Don’t get all cocky. It was just pure luck.”
He laughs, raising an eyebrow at you. “Oh, come on, I didn’t think you were such a sore loser. It’s called strategy.”
“Strategy?” you repeat incredulously, “The only strategy you have is relying on your last name to get you ahead.”
“God, you’re still on that? I feel like you’re just using that as an excuse to use still. Just admit I’m as good as you. Better, even. I’ve won one more race than you now~”
The two of you kept a tally of how many races you both have won, you’ve had the same exact score as him for ages now, obviously, not anymore. But you’ll win next time, just he waits.
He takes a step closer to you, waiting and expecting you to make a snarky comeback at him like you always do as you angrily stare him down and he does the same.
For a second, just one second, your eyes flicker down to his lips and suddenly, you’re brought back to an incident that occurred a few months ago. A memory you’ve tried—and failed—to forget.
There is one thing you’ve never told anyone about. Not your teammates, not taehyun, and that is when you, of all people, made out with Choi Beomgyu one awfully unlucky night.
⸝⸝
THE SAID AWFULLY UNLUCKY NIGHT YOU AND CHOI BEOMGYU MADE OUT:
The nightclub was packed with racers, sponsors, and fans celebrating the after party of a big end of season race, air heavy with the scent of alcohol and sweat. You nursed your drink, leaning against the bar.
Of course, Beomgyu was at the centre of the dance floor, surrounded by a group of admirers, his laughter ringing out over the music. He was never hard to spot, the centre of attention always.
"Ugh," you muttered under your breath, taking another sip of your drink.
“And you’re still staring?” Taehyun had teased, sitting beside you.
"I’m not staring.” You snapped, rolling your eyes. "I’m wondering how he manages to be so insufferable and stupid all the time."
“Sure,” Taehyun stifles a laugh, raising his glass to you. “Just don’t kill each other before the next race.”
You down the last of your drink, slamming it on the bar counter and ordering another, “Can’t promise that.”
The rest of the night is a blur to you. Too many drinks, too many spinning lights, and far too much proximity to Beomgyu.
You’re not one to get shitfaced drunk. You prefer the comfortable state of slight tipsiness and anything other than that is not fun for you, because why would someone want to be so drunk off their ass to the point of throwing up and not being aware of their surroundings? Usually, you’d chastise people like that, wondering how they can’t even manage how much they drink. But on that night, you’d had one too many to count, you were drunk, too drunk. Not the comfortable tipsiness that you’re used to.
You know that at one point, either you or Beomgyu had come up to the other and the normal bickering had ensued. You know he was just as drunk as you so whatever you both were arguing about probably made no sense at all.
What you do remember though was looking at him, really looking at him, in the shifting, almost epileptic lights of the club.
How big and brown his eyes were, how long and thick his eyelashes were and how they fluttered like a doll every time he blinked. How plump and pouty his lips were, especially now that he was drunk, he just kept on pouting his lips and his cheeks were flushed all rosy from all the alcohol he’d had. His long wolfcut was messy by now, bangs falling into his eyes.
He looked different that night, too. Not the usual racing suit and helmet, but a stylish black suit with his shirt unbuttoned just enough to reveal a silver necklace glinting against his skin.
All in all, beomgyu was a pretty boy. You get why he had a lot of fans.
He was still going on about something to you, slurring his words, probably insulting you, and the only logical solution to shut him up in your inebriated state at that moment, was to kiss his pouty lips. Luckily, you both were at the very corner of the nightclub shrouded in darkness, everyone else too busy dancing and whatnot to see you both.
You remember him gasping when you grabbed the collar of his black shirt, yanking him down and pressing your lips aggressively against his, but he kissed you back almost instantly, without a second thought.
You weren’t very gentle with him, pushing him forcefully against the wall even further and tugging at his necklace. The way you were making out with him was just pouring out all your anger you’ve felt towards him for years. But, he just let you. He let you do anything to him and you were surprised, so different to the cocky and confident beomgyu you knew. And that sheer control he let you have over him for once felt so good, you didn’t want to stop.
That, and the fact Choi Beomgyu was also just really good at kissing, he made it so difficult to pull away at all, lips so soft and plump and addictive, making you want more and more and more.
But, you never spoke an utterance of it afterwards, he never brought it up, neither did you. And honestly, it felt so surreal, making out with the Choi Beomgyu, the one who you no doubtedly hate his guts and him kissing you back so pliantly? You’d believe it more if it was all just a hallucination. You were so drunk you wouldn’t be surprised if you made it all up, dreamt it even. Maybe it was someone else you made out with and you were so drunk you can’t remember. It’d make more sense than Choi Beomgyu.
Although, you do find yourself thinking about the makeout session often times than not, his lips on yours just felt so good. Too good. It was like, the best makeout you’ve had in your life and you curse it for being him. Why he had to be the one whose lips you still thought about? you don’t know. You’re certain he had forgotten and you wish you could have just like he seemed to.
But anyway, fuck that and fuck him.
⸝⸝
"What? Cat got your tongue?" Beomgyu is still sneering at you, awaiting your comeback but you can’t think well at the moment.
Your face heats, and you shove past him. “Go to hell, Choi.”
And his laughter follows behind you as you walk away. Oh, how he infuriates you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You have one goal: beat Choi Beomgyu. Today is the day you finally get to race against him again. He’d held that last victory over your head, taunting you endlessly, with that invigorating, stupid smirk of his and you’d had more than enough. Today was your chance to shut him up and kick his ass. You’ll put him in his place and win. You’d been waiting for this.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another thrilling showdown! All eyes are on the two front runners y/n and Choi Beomgyu. These rivals have been neck and neck all season. Beomgyu won the last race but will he win again? Will today decide who’s truly on top?” The commentator’s voices boom over the loudspeakers.
The flagman waves the green flag, you slam on the gas pedal and you’re off, surging forward.
It wasn’t an easy race, beomgyu seemed motivated to win too. He was always either just ahead or just behind, not far enough for it be satisfactory, but nail bitingly tense, as anything could happen any moment. And right now, ahead, just barely, was him, blocking every attempt you made to overtake him.
“Y/n’s looking for an opening,” the commentators shout. “But Beomgyu’s defensive driving is flawless so far. Look at that precision!”
Loud noises of the engines are all you can hear, filling your ears as you manoeuvre around sharp turns, tires screeching against the asphalt. The laps all blur together but you’re nearing the end now.
You managed to get alongside him on the straight, your cars almost touching, crowd going wild as you both enter the next corner side by side, dangerously close.
“Neither driving is moving an inch!”
Suddenly, beomgyu’s car swerves towards yours, bumping and hitting at yours with such force, a dirty, blatant attempt at running you off the track and then he overtakes you. You gasp, fighting to stabilise your car, narrowly avoiding a spin. That was a new low, even for Choi Beomgyu. He’d never cheated like that before and you’re absolutely enraged.
The final lap is chaos, the audience on their feet now. You’re so incredibly angry, but you can’t let that get to you and hinder your focus, you clench your teeth, gripping your steering wheel so tight your knuckles are white, you’re even more determined to win than before.
The last stretch looms ahead and he’s just razor thin ahead of you, in the last second, you see your opening. Beomgyu had oversteered slightly on the turn, just enough for you to slip past him, you speed ahead.
“AND Y/N TAKES THE WIN IN A SPECTACULAR FINISH! THEY’VE DONE IT! WHAT A RACE!”
You crossed the line first. By a hair.
Everyone erupts, but your satisfaction is short-lived. Beomgyu’s cheating had completely soured your victory. The fucking nerve of him.
You barely register the reporters swarming you, bombarding your face with microphones. “Y/n! how does it feel to take first place?!”
“An incredible performance today, what was going through your mind?!”
The post race interview is a haze of forced smiles and generic answers. You’re barely listening as the reporters barrage you with questions. You’re still so pissed off at Beomgyu.
When it’s finally over, you make your way to the garage and that’s where you spot him leaning casually against his car, arms crossed in a nonchalant way. You clench your fists, blood boiling as you storm over to him. He’d crossed the line, well, not literally this time, but definitely fucking figuratively.
"You fucking cheated!" You shout, jabbing a finger at his chest.
He blinks innocently, tilting his head in a puppy like way. "Me? Cheat? That’s a very serious accusation to make. I’d never." There’s a slight smugness to him, almost mocking, he’s not even pissed he didn’t win like you’d wanted him to be, just calm and collected and being a bitch. It makes you even more livid with him.
“You intentionally tried to cause a collision with me. You should have been penalised. I don’t know how you weren’t!”
“Yeah, and you still won. So why are you even mad?” He crosses his arms and shrugs, looking down at you with a contemptuous grin, ridiculing you. “If you can’t handle what happens on the race, maybe you should switch to something lighter like bumper cars instead.”
"Can’t handle?!" You splutter, looking at him in pure disbelief, your voice rising. "You arrogant, nepotistic, spoilt brat!-” Each insult punctuated with a sharp poke to his chest and, yet he still finds it all funny, bursting out into laughter at you.
Something inside you just snaps. It infuriates you how you’re the one who won and yet, you feel small. Why is he the one sneering at you? That should be you! You want to have the upper hand over him, some semblance of control— just like that night again when he was putty in your hands.
And so, before you can even register what you yourself are about to do, you grab him by his jacket, smashing your lips against his. He melts almost instantly, kissing you back so fervently and eagerly, as if he’d been waiting this whole time for this to happen. And you can’t lie, it felt almost euphoric to have his soft lips back on yours again. Almost like an addict getting their fix after a long withdrawal.
The kissing becomes heated fast, sounds of your mouths smacking filling the echoing garage as he lets you take over his mouth completely, letting you bite and pull at his bottom lip, emitting soft little gasps at this.
Even for the second time, it was disorienting seeing Beomgyu like this, nothing like the beomgyu you knew on the track or in the spotlight, and now with no alcohol in your system, neither of you could even blame whatever was going on right now on that. It’s all too intoxicating. It takes everything in you to pull back for air.
You push him against his car with more force than necessary, and Beomgyu stumbles slightly before sitting down on the top of the hood. His eyes are blown wide, flustered as you stand between his splayed legs, cupping his cheek and kissing him again, him responding immediately. This is how you like him. Your kisses trail down his jaw and the column of his neck, when you suck on his adam’s apple, he lets out a sharp intake and gasp, tilting his head back to give you more access, he already seems worked up from just a few kisses. Was his neck really that sensitive?
When your hand slides down to palm him through his trousers, his breath hitches and his jaw goes slack. “Oh…b-but we’re in public…” his cheeks flush a deep red and he protests weakly, plump lips all swollen and glossy and wet from the intense making out.
You raise a brow. “So you want me to stop?” You keep grinding your palm against his very hard length now, sucking on his neck and he shudders and whines cutely, very clearly enjoying it.
“Wait—ah—no...” So you continue, he’s panting as you palm him, rutting into your hand himself. You pull back just enough to look at him, so dumb and lost in pleasure, lips parted with soft breathy moans and gasps as he chases the small friction you give him, his brows knitting together.
You roll your eyes at the sight of him, “Trying to run me off the track? You’re pathetic, beomgyu.”
“Pathetic?” He scoffs, still having the nerve to act like a brat when it’s all crumbling. “h-hah, if anyone’s pathetic it’s you—s-shit y/n—please. I need more, please.” Completely contradicting himself, because if there was only one word to describe him exactly right now, it would be pathetic.
“Admit it. Say you’re nothing but a dirty cheater first.”
“You wish.”
“Okay. I’ll leave you like this. All hard and horny.”
He hesitates, scowling, debating whether or not to challenge you, but when you stop all contact of palming and kissing his neck, starting to step away, he caves in.
“Wait!” He blurts, grasping at your wrist, eyes wide and pleading. “I’m…fine. Fine! I’m nothing but a dirty cheater...” His face burns, embarrassed, humiliated, his pride hurt. The admission sends a thrill through you, he’s always been so full of himself, but now he’s just a needy pathetic mess for you. You’re having so much fun.
You grin. “Aw. What a good boy.” You coo sarcastically. The words have an instant effect on him though, whole body tensing and cheeks blooming into an even more impossibly vivid red and he whines, hands clutching at your hips to bring you back as he still sits pliantly on the hood of his car.
You unzip his pants, flushed pretty cock already leaking, slapping at his tummy and you brush your thumb over his sensitive tip, spreading the bead of pre-cum that gathered there slowly, watching his reaction and he looks down at the action himself, drawing out a helpless shudder and whimper from him. He groans, eyes half lidded when you wrap your hand around his cock, moving up and down with a deliberate slowness that makes his breath hitch every few seconds and whine.
“God, you’re so easy, beomgyu. Are you this much of a whore all the time?” You murmur and tease, dragging your teeth over his cute earlobe, ears all red, feeling him shiver.
“Shut”, he whimpers cutely, “up. I-i could…ah…fuck you stupid right now.” He retaliates or attempts to, but his hands grip the edge of the hood like he’s barely holding himself upright.
You laugh. “Oh, really? Because you look pretty wrecked already.” He was so fucked out right now, you wonder if he’d even be able to take it when you actually fuck him.
He’s still trying to keep up the pretense of resistance. “I’m not wrecked. You’re—” You pump his cock at a ruthless pace, jerking him off fast, occasionally toying with the slit on the head of cock and his body goes limp under you touch, moaning out prettily and loudly, eyes squeezing shut and panting, chest heaving. He clings to you now, head buried in your neck, practically drooling, body jerking with every stroke. He still attempts to bite back at you but they come out as dumb babbles and mumbles of nonsense, mewling and gasping, completely at your mercy.
Beomgyu whines and moans deliriously. “F-fuck! Oh—need to cum. C-can’t.” He removes his head from your neck to look up at you with glossy doe eyes, so wrecked and hanging on by a thread. You move your hand up and down his dick unrelentingly and before he’s just about to cum, you pull your hand off him.
The pained, frustrated cry that escapes him is deliciously pathetic. His hips jerk into the air desperately to chase the sensation, but it’s long gone now. He looks at you in shock, eyes wide in utter betrayal and devastation, and now wet with tears of frustration. But then he frowns and scowls, annoyed he didn’t get to cum. “What the fuck was that for?” He pouts.
“I could think of a lot honestly. But, don’t you want to cum inside me?”
His jaw hangs open. “Please. Yes.” Beomgyu breathes out, nodding fervently and looking at you with puppy eyes, pupils dilating and dazed at the thought alone.
Sliding off the hood, beomgyu takes your hand like an obedient puppy, and you open the car door. He sits in his driver’s seat, his flushed face tilted up to watch you as you climb onto his lap. You rid yourself of your own clothes, watching as his gaze drops immediately to your bare tits, breath catching and lips parting as he stares, seemingly captivated. He’s so stupid.
You grab his dick and use the head to rub your clit, making him let out little stuttered gasps, sliding him over your entrance and folds a few times before you sink slowly down completely. The feeling of your warm tight pussy making him go cross eyed as he groans, sucking in air and throwing his head back, grasping at your waist, furrowing his brows and mouth in an ‘o’ shape, you beginning to ride him.
It’s so hot and cramped and sweaty in the car now as you bounce on his dick continuously, being able to hear the obscene slapping and sticky noises so loudly. Beomgyu looks in a state of absolute, pure bliss, moaning like a bitch, mind all fogged up and mushy at the feeling of your pussy, his messy damp bangs falling into his eyes so all you can see is his very glistening round lips, still in that sustained ‘o’ shape, just so dumbed and fucked out.
He’s a gorgeous wreck, thick doll-like lashes fluttering. If only everyone else could see Choi Beomgyu like this right now. It feels so empowering and satisfying after all these years of him being so infuriating. You love how, despite his attempts at being bratty, he’s so docile and such a simple whore.
You tangle your hands in his hair and tug and pull every so often, which he clearly very likes if the high and strained moans are anything to show for this. His hands squeeze at your tits when it feels too good for him. His lips latch onto one of your nipples, tongue flicking over it and sucking and kissing as he looks up at you with his big brown eyes. When you deliberately clamp your pussy tightly around him, he moans out your name in response, muffled from him still sucking your tits needily, body slightly jerking.
“You remember, don’t you?—at the club?” You ask, although it was probably obvious by now.
Beomgyu pauses for a moment, popping his wet droolly mouth off your boobs, eyes darting away for a moment before returning to look at you, nodding vigorously, “of course I remember…l-liked it.” You cup his cheek again, kissing beomgyu hard, hands still tangled in his hair, tugging, fucking him mercilessly as he moans softly against your lips. “Oh god, m’ sso close. Can I cum?”
You nod, kissing him some more, “Cum for me, beomie.”
“Holyy s-shitt—” Beomgyu’s eyes roll to the back of his head, squeezing one of your tits as if for support, his back arches, his tongue lolling out dumbly, whole body trembling and shaking. You bring one of your hands to your clit, rubbing and riding yourself on him harder. With a choked off scream, he spills so much of his cum inside you, and the gorgeous sight brings you over the edge too, cumming as well.
He doesn’t pull out though, burying his face in your neck, gasping for air, groaning and clinging to you tightly, he’s still shuddering and you can feel little spurts of his cum still dribbling in you, pussy completely milking him.
The two of you sat in the car still afterwards in a slightly awkward silence. Both of you panting, trying to come down from your highs, left to fully take in what had just happened and also how thoughtless it was. Fucking Choi beomgyu in the garage? You’re incredibly lucky no one walked in. It wasn’t even like both of you were trying to be quiet either, none of that running through your mind at that moment. What if someone had heard?
Beomgyu, for once, was quiet, his usual smirk replaced with a dazed expression, so far gone. He leans slowly towards you though, looking as if he was about to kiss you again.
“This…this doesn’t mean anything by the way.” You mutter, beginning to button up your shirt.
Beomgyu scoffs, running a hands through his hair. “Doesn’t feel like nothing.”
“Yeah, well, it doesn’t. At all.” You roll your eyes, trying not to freak out, you open the car door, wanting more than anything to just get out. You walk away, leaving him there, disheveled and barely clothed, still slumped in the driver’s seat. And you don’t see it, but there’s a look of almost, somewhat hurt on his face.

satoru falls first. and he falls hard. everyone knows it, it’s never been a secret.
“you want me to wash your hair?” you ask gently, kissing his shoulder as the water falls over his head. he hums, nodding absentmindedly as he stares blankly at the tiles of your shower wall.
“sure,” he mumbles, “don’t tug.”
“i never tug,” you roll your eyes, snorting. he huffs a small chuckle, but it’s not the usual laugh satoru gives you. it’s mechanic, almost—just there to fill the space. “baby?” you ask softly.
“yeah?” he asks, “oh, should i bend a little? sorry, i—”
“what’re you thinking about?” your hands cup his cheeks, gentle and warm from the hot water as it soaks his skin.
he shakes his head, trying to smile as he clears throat. “just how nice it is to be pampered. maybe i’ll let you break my heart every once in a while so i get my back scrubbed and hair washed like this.”
“satoru,” you insist. you know—and he knows it too. “tell me?”
“why’d you do it?” he mumbles, “why’d you listen to him?”
“toru, you know why,” you sigh, “you know i didn’t think there were any other options.”
“you could’ve talked to me,” he furrows his brows, “just because my stupid old man threatens you with my stupid inheritance doesn’t mean we have to break up.”
“i was afraid you’d choose me.” it comes out as a whisper, like a confession you can’t bear to admit.
“i would have chosen you,” he agrees, “why’s that bad? how’s that wrong—”
“you’re not thinking about the bigger picture,” you shake your head, “that company is yours. you’ve spent your whole life—”
“so what? was i supposed to give up the rest of my life for it too?” he asks tiredly—satoru’s defeated. he’s never been defeated, it’s the most magnetizing thing about him.
even before you date him. he asks and asks and asks no matter how many times you say no. because there’s always a chance you’ll say yes, and he’ll never stop as long as there’s a chance.
“i’m sorry,” you sniffle, lips wobbling, “i could have….i should have said something. i didn’t want you to make a choice young and then….and then regret it.”
“you think i’d regret you?” he’s wounded—absolutely wounded at the words.
satoru has always been careful, diligent and so, so meticulous to love you right, to love you how you need to be loved. hadn’t that proven enough? that he was in it for the long run—for forever? he’d been so sure you’d be his future, that the break up feels like waking up from a peaceful dream to a house fire—devastating, with smoke in his nose and lungs that he can’t breathe right, and everything gone within a moment before he can even register it.
he stares at the ashes in despair. nothing prepared him for the hollowness of not being yours—because satoru has never cared to make you his. all he’s ever wanted was to be yours.
you’re quick to remove him from everything, deleting pictures from your socials, untagging him from posts, removing him from your private stories and close friends list. he doesn’t understand how you could change your mind so quickly—and then he realizes you probably don’t. because he knows you—better than anyone ever has, satoru knows you.
so he’s comes to you, drenched from the rain, from standing outside your door even as the water pelts against his skin because he’s determined. he’s going to get an answer out of you, going to make you explain why you pulled him in so close, let him reside in your heart and fall asleep to the comforting rhythm of its beating—and then push him out like he’s nothing. what made you push him out?
and finally, when he does, when you let him be yours again and admit it’s never what you wanted, that it’s because it’s what his father wanted—well, satoru can’t keep his composure. don’t you know? hadn’t he always told you? hadn’t he poured his heart out and let you know every moment he’s always been stuck dangling from his father’s fingers? stuck somewhere between the sky and ground, too high to feel the floor under his feet but never high enough to feel the wind in his face.
you’ve always known, always listened—and fuck, you held him some nights too, let your fingers dip into his hair and soothe his sorrows of always being stuck.
satoru’s always been stuck, always had every choice made for him and every instruction carefully laid out on the table. and then you decided to make his choice for him too, walking away and choosing his future for him like he’s never had a say.
he’s always been stuck, but never with you—but now, he wonders if that’s changed.
“no,” you squeeze his cheeks, “no i don’t think you’d regret me….but satoru losing what you have is a big thing,” you mumble, “people work their whole lives not having a fraction of what you do. that’s a lot to let you lose.”
“i’ve never seen my dad kiss my mom,” he stares at you, hard and unwavering, his eyes stare into yours, “he’s never held her hand or made her laugh. and you know what she told me? that she would sell her share of everything to have what we do. why do you always look at me for what i have first?” he asks angrily, the water pouring over his shoulders as they shake, “why can’t you just look at me first for once?”
“i do look at you,” you insist, “toru, all i ever see is you—”
“then stop caring what he says,” he says louder, his voice echoing through the small bathroom of your small apartment.
everything about your home is small—smaller than satoru’s especially. but he loves it, thinks he’d rather be here than anywhere else.
because it’s yours. and as long as you’re here, the world fits into this tiny apartment, the galaxy too.
“okay,” you say shakily. and then you nod, looking him in the eye, “you’ll handle it?”
he nods, kissing between your brows, “yeah, i’ll handle it. who else is gonna take over that company anyway?”
“but what if he finds someone else? and then he—”
“he won’t. my grandpa will shred him.”
“but he’s old, and he stepped down, so what really can he do if your dad decides—”
“god, baby,” he groans, pushing your body against the wall gently, “i love your voice, but you talk so much. i’m wanna listen to something else.”
his lips find your neck, sucking gently at the skin, hand trailing to your tits before his thumb circles your nipple. it’s slow, deliberate, teasing as it rolls over the bud.
you whimper, clutching onto him as a breathy, “t-toru,” leaves your lips.
“yeah,” he nods, “that’s what i wanna listen to instead.” his lips are in a grin against your neck, kissing and biting until he reaches your collarbone. “anyone dm you after you took me out of your socials?” he asks bitterly.
“j-just one,” you admit through a stutter, “b-but i didn’t even open it! i wasn’t really—oh, toru,” you gasp as his finger finds your clit, spreading your legs as he lets out a soft growl at your words.
“what? just cause my face isn’t on your instagram suddenly you’re not mine?” he asks, thumb rubbing harsh circles against the sensitive bundle of nerves—you close your eyes, moaning as your arms wrap tightly around his neck. “you’re always mine,” he murmurs against your ear, low and careful so you hear him well, “yeah? got that?”
“got it,” you nod furiously.
“got what?”
“‘m al-always—oh, fuck,” you mewl as one finger prods at your entrance, gathering your slick before slowly sliding through your walls.
“c’mon, sweetheart,” he says firmly, “finish your sentences.”
“always yours, toru! always yours—please, please j-just…”
“just what?” he raises a brow.
“more,” you sob—it’s a broken plea as your hips thrust against his finger.
he’s quick to slide in a second, thrusting his digits mercilessly into your soaked cunt, his palm gliding over your clit as the slick sound of his fingers fucking you is almost drowned by the water in the back.
your water bill will be high this month. you decide it’s a sacrifice satoru deserves.
“you think someone could ever learn this body better than me? make you cum like i can? you think anyone will ever love you enough to learn you like i do?”
“n-no,” you pant, his fingers hitting that spot inside of you so perfectly, you feel that dull ache build up quickly. it’s good—everything with satoru is good. his other hand finds your chest to pinch a nipple, twisting and squeezing until your nails leave indents on his shoulders as you moan loudly. “no one—no one but you.”
“exactly,” he growls, “how could you leave me? how could you leave us?”
“‘m sorry,” you sniffle, whimpering when the tips of his fingers slam against that spongey spot of your walls, fluttering around him and squeezing him in. you’re close—so close that you almost don’t know what he’s saying anymore, too focused on the way your impending orgasm is approaching. fast. “i’m sorry, i’ll never—ever leave again.”
“say you love me,” he demands.
it sounds like he’s pleading, though, if you listen closely. there’s a small crack in his voice, a slight shakiness that makes you force your eyes open and stare at him and whisper, “i love you, satoru. i love you.”
and then he rips his fingers out—right before you’re about to cum. you gasp, pleading nonsense as you cling to him and buck your hips and search for something, anything to take you over the edge.
and then you hear a sniffle. is he crying? is that wet droplet on your shoulder a tear or the water? you’re too busy calming down from your orgasm dying before it ever came to focus.
satoru’s hard against your thigh, throbbing and painful to sink into you. he strokes himself a few times, whimpers as his thumb gathers the pre cum from the sensitive tip, smearing it along his length as he shakily lets out a quiet moan.
“f-fuck, i gotta feel you. please, can i? please—”
“yes,” you pull him closer, grinding your heat over his hard-on, “yes please, toru. more, need more.”
he’s sliding along your folds, dragging the tip of his cock along your entrance and smearing a mix of your arousal with his. and then slowly, ever so gently, he’s pushing into your after that, pushing past your walls and bullying into your soaked cunt, curving into you perfectly.
it’s only been a week—you feel like you haven’t felt him in years. but it’s familiar. you remember every part of him, including every vein that drags along your walls and makes your head spin. he remembers every part of you, including where that spot is that he needs to angle his hips to find.
he slams into you, hard and rough and fast—doesn’t even let you adjust your position to hold onto him tighter before he’s thrusting his hips and fucking into you desperately. you can feel him, every inch of his skin against you, every part of him that’s touching you. and you can feel the way his cock nudges past your folds, the friction burning pleasure through ever nerve.
satoru knows how to fuck you, just like he knows how to love you, he knows your body—every dip and ever curve, every place to touch and every part that has you gushing around him. it’s just the way he is, too good at giving you what you want, what you need.
when he moans, it’s breathy and he’s panting as he lets out those soft whimpers that make your head spin. “feel that? feel me?” he asks, grunting as you squeeze around his length.
“yeah,” you breathe, “‘m so full.”
“i need you. please, please,” he murmurs, “can’t lose you, baby. never you,” he chants, the quiver in his voice tearing you apart.
“i’m right here,” you gasp, lacing your fingers with his and squeezing his hand. he squeezes back, just to let you know he’s there too, “right here, baby. you got me.”
and then he cums, just as soon as you whisper that—he spills right into you with a broken cry, his hips rolling, needy and desperate and so, so lost on the pleasure. he’s too busy working himself through his high, trembling over your body to care he’s cum too quick—and you don’t have it in you to tease him. you can feel the hot ropes of cum filling you, painting your walls white, fucking deep into you as the blunt head of his cock slams into you without a second of hesitation.
but he doesn’t stop, doesn’t falter that brutal pace as his hips slam into you, perfectly kissing your sweet spot every time. and before long, you break—your head pushes back against the wall behind you, mouth parted as you wail his name and cum—hard. you’re quivering and spasming around his swollen cock, enough that he whimpers at the way you’re so tight.
it’s good, it’s always good. satoru makes you feel good. he’s the best you’ve ever had—the best you’ll ever find.
and then you hear it again, the sniffle into your neck as he clutches you tightly. you know for sure that wet droplet is a tear this time, and your fingers tangle into his hair as you stroke the wet strands.
“i love you, toru,” you murmur, “my sweet boy. i’m sorry, okay? i’m so sorry.”
“don’t do that again,” he huffs in between tears, “that was so mean. so mean.”
“i said i won’t,” you chuckle, fighting back your own tears, “how long are you gonna hold this against me?”
“how long do you plan on being mine?”
“well,” you pull him from your neck, cupping his cheeks as you wipe away tears and peck his lips softly, “i think….forever.”
“well, get ready, then,” he glares softly, “i’m gonna hold this against you forever too.”
“okay,” you nod, “that’s fair.”
“and i love you too,” he adds, “but block whoever dm’d you. it better not be that zenin boy.”
“block those girls who’s pictures you liked,” you shoot back, glaring at him with a pout of your own.
“don’t yell at me,” he mumbles, leaning into your touch as your thumb strokes his cheek, “i’ve had a rough week. you have to be nice.”

3 times Phantom's Guardian was Mentioned + 1 Time He Showed Up
One
Phantom’s introduction to Young Justice wasn’t as dramatic as Empress’ or Slobo’s, or even Arrowette’s first introduction to the cave. No, it wasn’t during the Olympics, or on a battlefield, and he didn’t come in injured and looking for help.
Impulse just brought Phantom in one day and insisted that he should join because he’s their age, interested in justice, and now that Greta’s human again they need another ghost member. So Phantom stayed, popping in and out for missions but never really sticking around all that long.
Today is one of the days that Phantom’s with them on a mission, that being looking around a lab of the Brain’s that had an energy surge recently, despite it being presumably abandoned.
Kon got paired up with Phantom to check the rest out first, since they both have better hearing than Anita and Tim, who were both still in the main room working on checking the computers for previous activity.
The room is dark except for the light green ball glowing slightly above Phantom’s hand. He waves it around enough for it to reflect off of glass, then throws it up to the ceiling. The light expands enough to illuminate the room.
Phantom mumbles about not knowing he could do that. Kon ignores him and moves closer to inspect the glass tubes to the side of several monitors set up.
“Looks like cloning equipment,” Phantom says, casually. He drags a finger through the dust gathering on one of the monitors. “Don’t think they’ve been activated recently, though, so that’s good.”
“What? You got a problem with clones or something?” It’s a quick and defensive answer, and Phantom puts his hands up in surrender.
“Not in concept.” He shrugs and joins Kon near the tubes. “But not a lot of people ask before making clones.”
“So I don’t need to sic Superman on you?” Obviously Kon could chew Phantom out himself, but few can do a “not mad, just disappointed” face better than Clark.
Phantom scrunches his face. “Why would you need to?”
Kon stops pretending to inspect the tube and stares at Phantom. “You do know I’m a clone, right?” The blank look on Phantom’s face tells him that no, he did not. “Well I am. Clone of Superman, though we’re pretty much brothers now.”
“Cool,” Phantom says, not a bit less friendly. He hesitates for a second before continuing, “Could I maybe ask you how you got there? Me and my clone have landed on cousins, but that was also, like, given to us by her evil dad. So.”
Phantom trails off. Huh, that makes three members of the team that have been cloned. Not a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened three times.
“You’re making sure she feels accepted, right?”
“Yeah! Well, whenever she’s around. She,” Phantom waves his hand around, looking for the right word, “She’s a wanderer. Exploring the world and stuff. But Richard has a room for her at home, and I remind her of that whenever she does stop by.”
“Well, first of all, don’t push it so hard,” Kon says. Phantom nods enthusiastically. “And second, who’s Richard?”
Kon doesn’t know a lot of Richards, and he doesn’t think that Phantom ever mentioned one before. Or even if he remembers his living life.
“Oh, he’s my, uh, guardian? I guess that’s the best term. The guy I’m living with who forces me to go to school sometimes.” Phantom looks away and back to the tubes.
Before Kon can ask for more details, Robin and Empress come in with a report of dead computers and wanting to know where they’re at with the cloning room.
They’re unimpressed with their lack of progress.
Two
Wally doesn’t really need to come by the Hamilton Lodge that often, not when that’s Young Justice’s territory and he doesn’t want to get involved in all of That.
But Red Tornado said that the team has a file on a planet that’s very quickly becoming a league problem, and he figured it might be a good time to try to check in with Bart, anyway. Make sure he hasn’t run any cars off cliffs again and all that.
So he stops by Manchester to ask Bart about the file, then they both head East to actually find it.
When they arrive at the hotel minutes later, Wally’s surprised to actually find it… clean? There’s no visible trash or overturned furniture or anything else he’d expect from an abandoned hotel filled with teenagers. Well, maybe not filled, lately. He doesn’t think anyone’s living here currently, with Greta at Elias’ for the school year and Slobo gone.
Still, the room smells slightly of artificial pine scent, and Bart perks up before disappearing and reappearing rapidly, holding a teammate up by his armpits. Said teammate just accepts this, his legs folding into a wispy tail, and head rolling against his shoulders.
“This is Phantom!” Bart holds him up higher. Phantom waves. Wally’s only heard of him through Max’s updates, the same way he would hear about Preston or Carol, but with more wariness about the supposed ghost.
Actually looking at the pale face and glowing green eyes contrasting against the darker than dark jumpsuit, Wally’s a little more ready to accept his claim at being undead.
“He stress cleans,” Bart explains, moving to carry Phantom under his arm. Wally bites down the urge to tell him to put him down, but only because Phantom doesn’t resist the hold, only moving to get into a more comfortable position. His hands are touching the floor. “So what happened?”
Bart directs the question downwards, and Phantom heaves a very dramatic sigh. Definitely a teenager. It does raise the question of who exactly this kid’s mentor is. Hopefully he does have one. Maybe he’s the Spectre’s kid?
Phantom phases through the arm holding him only to lay on top of Bart’s hair. “I accidentally called Richard dad. And then fled.”
Bart nods sagely. “Classic. One time I accidentally called Max dad, so I had to start a fire to distract him.”
Phantom sighs again, almost dreamily. “Genius.”
Wally doesn’t have time to unpack all of that. Well he does, but he’s not going to, because there’s really only one Richard that comes to mind that might have the heart to take in a dead kid, even if he doesn’t go by his full name.
But surely Dick would have told him, or any other Titan, if he had adopted a kid. Right?
But there’s still a little shadow of doubt. Maybe Dick wanted it to be a secret, or it was really new or had a rocky start. Phantom doesn’t seem to hold himself like a Bat, but it’s not a guarantee Dick would have trained him.
“The lodge looks nice,” Wally offers out loud, which Phantom shrugs at and wraps his tail around Bart’s head to keep secure. “Anyway, Impulse. The file on Myrg?”
“Oh yeah!” Again, Bart disappears then reappears a few seconds later with a paper file. They really need to start digitizing more of these things. “That’s the planet where we played baseball so that they wouldn’t destroy Earth!”
“You what.”
The prospect of Dick following in his dad’s footsteps is forgotten in the face of what the hell Young Justice got up to on Myrg.
Three
Tim may be in a…Predicament.
It’s not his fault. Really. He knew what he was doing. He couldn’t let a civilian fall for the trap. But they were already so close, so he just, kinda, pushed himself into the rope instead.
So there Robin is, tied upside down in a warehouse, with the Joker below next to an overly complicated control panel. The clown’s rambling about bombs hidden all over the city that Tim knows Batman is already tracking down with Batgirl.
Tim’s not really paying attention to the rant because of that, more focused on wiggling enough to get the spare mini-birdarang out of his glove to cut the rope without notifying the Joker.
“Yikes, bad time?” Asks Phantom’s voice beside him. Based on the source and accounting for the slight echo, he’s floating with his head near Tim’s, likely upside down. “Want some help?”
Tim gets the birdarang out and starts sawing at the thick rope. They should be fine anyway, but stalling the Joker for extra time would be helpful. “Can you possess the Joker? Just hold him still.”
“The correct term is overshadow, but sure.” The voice disappears, and a few seconds later the Joker freezes.
His body jerks forward, then backward, and a laugh chokes out of his throat. His hand claws over his mouth at the noise and he hunches over. All movement halts before he rights himself, shaking out his hands and rolling his shoulders. Phantom looks up at Tim and his eyes are glowing.
Tim cuts through the rope, kicking and using the momentum to right himself and land on his feet. He brushes past Phantom in Joker’s body to handle the control panel. He turns off the radio broadcast and dismantles the bomb strapped to the panel.
Threat handled, he turns to Phantom and holds up some handcuffs. “Let me arrest you?”
Phantom obliges, turning the Joker’s body around and putting his hands behind his back. Tim lets him walk by himself out of the warehouse and moves the handcuffs around a lamppost. The Joker’s body jerks again, then slumps forward, just as Phantom reappears next to him, scowling down at the unconscious body.
“That felt really slimy. Zero out of ten, would not do again,” Phantom grouches.
“Why’re you in Gotham?” Tim asks. It’s not like Phantom makes a habit of visiting. The last time he came into the city, he complained about feeling the dead under the streets. Fortunately, that let Tim uncover a few tunnels that Talons travel through. Phantom, however, was unnerved by the Talons and left quickly.
“Oh, Solomon Grundy’s back in our sewers. Richard said I should probably tell one of you Gotham heroes, since you keep track of those guys.” He shakes out his hands like they were cramped in the Joker.
They hadn’t seen Grundy in a while. Tim assumed he was currently in a less violent personality. “What’s he doing?”
Phantom shrugs. “Just chilling. Mostly underground. I tried to talk to him but he only grunted back at me. He also tried to pick me up, dunno what that was about.”
“Maybe because you’re both dead?” Tim guessed. That would be a surface level connection. Ivy and Woodrue have had more luck working with Grundy than anyone, and Phantom definitely doesn’t have the connection to the Green that’d help with that.
Police lights turn around the corner, and Tim shoots a grapple to get to the roof above them. Phantom follows, but disappears as soon as they’re on the roof. Going back home, probably.
Cass drops down from the roof she was listening on. “Richard?”
“Not the same one.”
They both stick around long enough to watch the Joker get put into the cop car.
Plus one
A spaceship landed in the forests of New York, and Cassie’s team was the first to respond to it. Technically not respond, but check it out, since there wasn’t any alert or anything.
Still, Wonder Girl has Empress, Robin, and Superboy on the other side of the ship, watching what looks like the back door, while she, Impulse, and Phantom watch the other door and main window. She has binoculars, but the windows are so tinted she can’t quite make anything out.
No aliens have come out yet, and she hesitates to have anyone go in, in case whoever inside does turn hostile.
Impulse has offered to run through a total of five times already, and it’s a testament to his restraint that he hasn’t, and a testament to Cassie’s that she hasn’t yelled at him yet. Phantom at least isn’t being annoying, but he’s not necessarily helpful, either. He’s not even watching the spaceship anymore. Now he’s trying to make a flower crown out of dandelions.
“Door’s opening on our side,” Robin says from the comms. “But no one’s coming out.”
“Alright, good enough to try to get in,” Cassie decides. She turns to Phantom, who’s closing off the circle of flowers. Beside him, Impulse has since pulled out a gameboy. “Phantom, go in invisibly through the open door and report back. Try to see what their plans are.”
“Oh, sure. One second.” Phantom finishes the crown and tries to put it on Bart’s head. It doesn’t quite fit over his mane of hair, but Phantom shrugs and leaves it sitting there anyway before going invisible.
“Maybe I should shave my head again,” Bart says as his game character dies.
He gets a resounding no in response.
Half an hour later they have a very annoyed Green Lantern lecturing them about league jurisdiction and knowing when to call someone else.
Apparently, the alien ship was just stopping to complete some maintenance, and did not appreciate any spying on them, and especially did not appreciate who did it. Green Lantern was more than happy to explain that Wonder Girl’s team is not really a part of the Justice League and he can help with their maintenance. They denied his help and left to find a place with less people in it.
“-and you!” Green Lantern rounds on Phantom next, but Cassie knows none of them are really listening. Sure, they messed up by freaking out the visiting aliens, and yeah maybe they should have contacted the league about it, but they’ve dealt with stuff worse than this! It’s not Cassie’s fault she thought that this would have stuck to the formula.
“Who even are you?” Green Lantern runs a hand through his black hair, stupid green gauntlets shining in the sunlight. “Do I need to call your mentor?” He frowns. “Or do they know you mess up alien technology by just being around it?”
Phantom scoffs and rolls his eyes. “How was I supposed to know their tech would go all fuzzy when I came in?”
“You wouldn’t have to know if you just stayed out of the spaceship!”
“Hey!” Cassie cuts in. “Technically that was my call. It’s not all on Phantom.”
“I still could've been more careful,” Phantom says to her, ignoring Green Lantern as they argue about blame.
“Cut it out for a second, okay?” Green Lantern puts a hand between them and they stop to glare at him. He pulls the hand back. “Look, can I just talk to one of your adults about this?”
Robin glares. “We don’t need an adult. We have this under control.”
“Only because I’m here now.”
“I’ll call my mentor,” Phantom says. Kon opens his mouth, most likely to offer to call Superman instead in hopes of a lighter sentence, but Bart covers his mouth, smiling like he knows something Cassie doesn’t. Tim and Anita share a look, and don’t intervene as Phantom pulls out a phone from his chest.
It rings once before it’s picked up. Cassie can’t hear the other side of the conversation, but Kon’s eyebrows scrunch in confusion. “Hey, do you think you can pick me up? Green Lantern wants to talk to you.” Phantom looks Green Lantern up and down then says, “No, this one doesn’t have a cape.”
Phantom says goodbye after rattling off their coordinates, hangs up, and stares at Green Lantern in silence for a few seconds.
And then a swirling mass of black seeps into the space next to Phantom. The end of a cane steps out of it, followed by a leg, then the rest of the immaculately dressed man holding the handle of the cane that’s shaped like a bird’s head.
“Phantom,” The man says. His voice drips with condescension in only a way a british accent can, yet Phantom smiles up at him. The shadowy portal behind him disappears. “What, exactly, happened?”
“That’s the fucking Shade,” Anita hisses to Robin, who shrugs noncommittedly at her. Green Lantern seems to recognise him too, taking a step back and clenching his hand that holds his ring.
“Well, the team and I were staking out this spaceship–super cool, by the way–and I went inside to check it out, but my presence messed with their tech–which was an accident–and they freaked out, so I freaked out, and then we kinda got into a little fight until Green Lantern came to mediate.”
“Hm. Is that right?” The Shade asks Green Lantern, who nods slowly, still anticipating an attack. “It seems like the problem’s fixed, then.”
“Well, yes, but–”
“And it does seem about time for these kids to get home, doesn't it?” The Shade pulls out an actual pocket watch, chain and all, from his suit pocket and takes his time in checking it. “I’ll see them home.”
Shadows grow from behind the team, swirling until they become a giant, gaping maw that swallows them up and spits them out in a different forest, or maybe just a different part of the same forest.
Either way, Cassie has to take a moment to make sure she doesn’t throw up from the sudden vertigo the shadow portal caused.
The Shade looks at Phantom, and raises an eyebrow. “You can’t expect me to always bail you out.”
Phantom shrugs, looking guilty. “I know. Thanks, Richard.”
Oh, so that’s who Richard is. Annoyingly, neither Tim or Bart look surprised by this revelation.

— young lust
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
▸ 18+ mdni.
You want Mark so badly, but he thinks you’re too young for him. With a little more convincing though, he eventually gives you what you want—in a less than gentle way.
| pairing. rapper!mark x fem!reader

| a.n.: this is just self-serving atp. hope it serves y'all too <3
Tumblr media
Mark thinks he’s never been eye-fucked this hard before. He’s flattered, of course, but something’s off.
You’re hot and very tempting, too, there’s no need in denying that. The little dress you’re wearing clings to your ass and he honestly can’t stop looking at it, especially with your back turned to him, occasionally glancing over your shoulder to meet Mark’s eyes.
Your gaze is so obviously flirtatious, you don’t even try to be subtle. The finger stuck between your teeth and the look you send him tell Mark everything he needs to know; you want him as much as he wants you.
He imagines your smaller body pressed against the bathroom wall, his hips clashing against your ass roughly, listening to your moans muffled by the loud music playing throughout the club. He sees it, that slutty mouth chanting his name like a prayer as he gropes your breasts with his palms through your dress.
Mark looks at you before taking a sip from his alcoholic drink, then shifts his gaze back to Jisung standing in front of him.
“You know each other?”
He’s taken off guard by the question, taking a second to respond.
“Uh, no,” he thinks about what to say, but he really doesn’t have a clue on how to explain this… exchange. “We… we don’t.”
Jisung sports a perplexed yet amused expression on his face. “So where is all that tension coming from?”
Mark raises a brow, eyeing you one last time, but you’re not looking at him anymore.
“I’m not sure,” he admits, a faint smirk drawing on his lips. “Do you know her?” Mark asks in return, a little curious.
He won’t lie that he likes the mystery of all this, not knowing who you are adds to the desire, to the inexplicable lust that draws him to you. He wants to mess around, do what he wishes just because he can. And that includes you. He wants to do you so bad.
“Yeah, of course, we’re in the same company,” Jisung tells him, “she’s in this new girl group, you know. Up in the charts, just right under you,” his friend grins, looking at Mark to see his reaction.
He’s surprised for a second, uttering a “really?” and Jisung nods his head as a yes.
Mark never pays attention to the charts, even though he gets reminded of them practically everyday. He’s aware of his success—way too aware of it—but he’s not the artist obsessed with numbers. He knows he makes good music and it’s all that matters to him.
“I don’t know how you still haven’t heard of them already,” Jisung continues, “of her, especially.” He tilts his head in your direction, now both men’s attention on you. “Everyone’s fond of her.”
“Are you?” Mark wonders, narrowing his eyes at his friend.
“Sure,” Jisung agrees, “she’s a sweetheart. Seems down to earth, for the few times we’ve talked.”
This intrigues Mark. Does a sweetheart usually act so slutty with strangers? Perhaps he’s not a stranger to you, you very probably know him—everybody does—but he doesn’t think he’s ever gotten a girl this bold with him. And surely not someone who’s proclaimed to be a sweetheart, in this industry where anything opposite to pureness is unacceptable.
He can feel your gaze on him now and he doesn’t hesitate to lock eyes with you once again. You laugh at whatever the person you’re talking to said, almost having Mark envious for not being the one making you laugh right now.
You’re good at this, he thinks. Really good. Staring straight into his eyes, making him feel like he’s the centre of your attention when in reality you’re talking with someone else. If he could, he would take you with him, bring you to his car and fuck you directly onto his shiny leather seats, door wide open. He knows you’d love it.
“Is she your age?” he says, taking a sip of his drink, eyes still on you until he hears Jisung’s answer.
“Uh, no, not exactly,” his friend responds, “younger, in fact.”
He immediately breaks eye-contact with you, looking back at Jisung. Mark feels his heart starting to beat a little faster, suddenly anxious. Or is it embarrassment? Concern? Whatever it is, the desire he once felt, has now shifted.
“What? How old?”
“Well, I’m not sure, Mark. 21, maybe?” Jisung frowns, trying to recall what you’d told him, but it wasn't information he really registered back then.
Mark gulps down. He knew something was off, why didn’t he listen to his intuition?
He’s 25 and you’re 4 years younger than him. You’re barely an adult.
“Don’t tell me you’ve gone soft now,” Jisung chuckles, noticing the deflated expression on his face.
“Barely.”
He empties his glass, settling it down on the counter near him after. He tells Jisung he’ll come back in 5, heading for the bathrooms.
—-
Mark washes his hands in the sink, drying them off with a towel. He looks at himself in the mirror, leaning over the counter. The music is loud, making the ground vibrate under his feet, making it almost impossible for him to think. Maybe it’s a good thing, he can’t overthink, then.
“You’ve abandoned me,” he hears a voice saying, lifting up his head just in time to see you entering the bathrooms. “I was wondering where you’ve been gone…”
Your voice is as sultry as your eyes, as sensual as your body in this ridiculously tight dress. He can’t help but wander his eyes over your figure, looking at what now feels so immoral. If it wasn’t for that—morality—he wouldn’t stop himself from taking you right here and there, but something has to stop him.
If nothing ever does, god knows all the things he would’ve done since now.
You approach Mark with slow steps, a teasing smile on your lips, a very precise idea in mind. He wants to back away, leave, forget about everything, but he doesn’t. He’s curious, tempted.
“Or maybe that’s where you wanted me to be?” you grin, putting your hand around his bicep, the other leaning on top of the counter.
He stares back at you, unconvinced. “I was about to leave,” he explains, and he sees the glint in your eyes changing. You don’t like rejection.
“Really?” you utter, the tone of your voice a pitch higher— sounding somewhat bitter. “I swore there was something between us… With the way you were looking at me,” you say, your hand lingering on his arm before removing it. “Do you often look at women like you want to fuck them and then leave them, Mark?”
This confirms that you know him. For some reason, he feels uneasy about the fact that he knows nothing about you but you know all about him.
You get even closer, only a few centimetres before your body touches him.
Truthfully, you were the only ever girl he was about to do this to. It didn’t feel like a big deal when he thought about it, but now that he’s been caught, he feels a little guilty.
“I didn’t take you for a coward,” you whisper.
Mark arches his brow at that, wondering how in the hell did he get in such a situation. Getting called a coward by a brat? By a spoiled little girl who didn’t have to lift a finger for success to find her?
“You should go back to your friends,” he carefully advises.
But you find it funny, laughing softly. “So you are a coward, Mark Lee,” you mockingly say, tone condescending, tongue pressing behind your bottom teeth as his name leaves your mouth. “Are you afraid of something? Don’t worry, I don’t bite. Unless you’re into it?”
He keeps his hands away from you, as if the mere feeling of your skin under his fingertips would break down his barriers. He turns his head to the side, away from yours, as you roughly pull on his belt, your chest finally pressed down against his.
“I know you want me,” you whine, “to touch me… Fuck me.”
If he could only fall into temptation… Maybe it’d be easier to just follow his desires. Well, in the meantime it would be, but after? What if he regrets it? What if you regret it? He can’t sleep with every girl he sees.
He never goes for anyone that is younger than him. Not that much, at least. What kind of man would he be?
But goddamn, why are you so insistent? Why are you making it so difficult for him?
“You’re too young, okay?”
You take a step back, letting go of him. Your eyebrows are frowned and you look at Mark like he’s the biggest idiot on earth.
You scoff. “So that’s what you’re afraid of? My age?”
You cross your arms over your chest, Mark turning his head toward you now that you’ve put some distance between you.
“What did Jisung tell you?”
“That you’re 21,” he answers, wondering what you’re going to tell him. After all, what Jisung said could have been bullshit. He hopes, for a moment, that it was.
Your lips quirk up, a chuckle leaving you. You look to the side then back to Mark. “I’m 20.”
His eyebrows knit together, annoyed that you find this funny again. What else can he expect from a 20 year old anyway? That you take this seriously?
“You find this funny? Do you realize how much older I am?”
“Yeah,” you nod, “and that’s why it’s funny. You’re scared of what? A five year difference?”
You step forward again, but Mark backs away this time, hitting the counter behind him.
“You’re a fucking puss,” you insult him, full of arrogance.
But something you didn’t expect happens; Mark knocks his body into yours, making you stumble back as he follows you until your back is flushed against the bathroom stall. His hand goes fast to your neck, squeezing.
He leans in, the expression on his face furious. He doesn’t feel guilty anymore.
“You act like a spoiled little bitch and you wonder why I don’t want you?” For the first time tonight, you’re speechless. His nose brushes over your temple, so close you feel his breath fanning across your face. “Fucking learn how to accept when people tell you no. Learn to shut your mouth from time to time because they won’t like your ass in this industry if you keep this entitled attitude up.”
You’re looking down as Mark’s eyes bore into your skull, blood creeping up to your cheeks. You gulp, not having a word to say in return. You’d rather not talk back.
He eventually lets go of you, turning around and walking out, leaving you alone and… turned on.
—-
“Hi, Markie.”
The last person he expected to see when entering his studio is certainly you. The only person supposed to be here is Jisung, and yet, here you are, smiling, eyes glinting teasingly.
He looks at you, then at Jisung, sitting in front of his computer. He turns around on the rolling chair, totally unfazed by the fact that he brought a stranger into Mark’s studio.
“What is this?”
“This?” you question, but he ignores you, walking straight to his friend.
“Uh, well, you’ve already met I believe, no?” Jisung asks, slightly confused. He says your name and it’s all it takes to irritate Mark. “She wanted to come see us work, learn a thing or two. I thought it was a great idea.”
Jisung’s innocence is a good thing sometimes, really. It’s refreshing, quite funny, too, but right now, Mark wishes he wasn’t so credulous all the damn time.
“It didn’t come to you to, maybe, ask for my permission?” he whispers, leaning in so you don’t properly hear him.
Jisung’s brows raise up, simply shrugging. “Not really,” he admits, “I thought it wouldn’t bother you. I told you, she’s a sweetheart, and she promised to not interrupt too much. Right?” Jisung turns to you and your smile gets bigger, bobbing your head.
“Absolutely.”
Mark looks hard at you, not believing this one second. Has god sent you on this earth to test him?
You stare back at him sweetly, and he swears, if it wasn’t for Jisung’s presence, Mark would have made you regret it. Bitterly.
Surprisingly, you did keep your promise. You didn’t disturb them once, even pretending to care about what they were working on. You seemed close to Jisung, actually being kind to him, the total opposite of how you were behaving the other night. You’re good at playing pretend, Mark realizes.
Your eyes were on him the entire time, though. You had the same look as he recalled, eye-fucking him right here in his studio. He was pissed off, to say the least, but he didn’t make a comment. That would’ve been weird to say anything in front of Jisung and the last thing he wants is him thinking there’s something happening between you two— because there’s nothing.
He just hoped the end of the day would come rapidly, and it did, to Mark’s relief.
With Jisung and you gone, he can finally work peacefully, nobody undressing him with their eyes.
That is until he comes back into his studio.
“What the fuck are you still doing here?”
He’s lost all of his patience to be respectful to you now. He really doesn’t give a shit. How can someone be so stubborn?
“Told Ji’ I was going to call a taxi,” you explain, getting up from the sofa you’ve been sitting on. “I lied,” you smirk.
Mark blinks at you, too shocked to say anything. You use the opportunity to get closer, bringing him to you, and then pushing him onto the sofa behind him.
“Call me ‘too young’ all you want, I recognize a pervert when I see one.”
You don’t think twice before straddling his lap, sitting down on his thighs. Your hands come to rest on his shoulders, and even though Mark sends you the most murderous glare in the world, he does nothing to push you away.
Curiosity, temptation.
“If you didn’t know my age, you would have fucked me right against the bathroom stall if I had asked you to,” you affirm confidently, and there’s truth behind your words. Of course there is, Mark knows what he thought of you at first— what position he imagined you in, the sounds you’d make.
“Get off of me,” Mark barks back, his frowned eyebrows giving him this angry look that you like so much.
You roll your eyes, sighing. “Here I thought I was the whiny little one, but you’re whinier than I am, Markie.”
“I’m not fucking whining, I’m giving you an order.”
“Get me off then,” you propose, grabbing both of his wrists and putting his hands on your hips. “Go on, do it. Or are you too scared to touch me?” You provoke him further, knowing you’ll eventually make him break down, sooner or later.
“You don’t want me to, believe me.”
His threat has you shivering… and excited.
“Why’s that?” you wonder, subtly moving your hips over his lap. “You’re sure you’re not the little bitch, hm, Markie?”
You should have expected him to snap sooner, because the moment you say this, he pins you down on the couch, you underneath him. His hold on your wrists is nothing gentle and you can’t even move them. If before you felt like the master of your own game, well now you’ve lost all sense of power, being Mark’s puppet and not the opposite.
You’re shocked. Scared.
His hand closes immediately around your face, squishing your cheeks between his fingers. “Be disrespectful to me once again and I’ll break your fucking jaw,” he spits at you. “Has anybody ever told you to respect your elders, huh? I bet fucking not,” he snorts, “I’ll teach you some manners myself.”
You don’t understand until he reaches under your skirt, pulling down on your panties. Your eyes widen, letting out whines of protest.
“Stop, stop!” you stress out, trying to grab Mark’s hands now that yours are free.
But he merely laughs, probably the first time you’ve ever heard him. “Ah, now you want me to stop? After all the begging you did so I’d fuck you.”
Mark doesn’t stop, working on his belt, undoing his pants.
Your heart accelerates, and despite the worried look on your face, your eyes starting to water, the turn of events please you all too much.
You briefly fight with him, pushing on his chest like a little girl, whimpering pathetically. Mark stays unfazed, easily taking both of your wrists in one hand and pinning it down above your head. He grunts as he pushes his hard cock into you, a gasp escaping your lips as you feel your walls expanding.
You blink multiple times, taking a deep breath, and the tears roll down the side of your face, disappearing into your hair. It burns, but you’re so wet.
You ask yourself if Mark knows you’re faking it, but with how delighted he seems to be forcing himself on you, you doubt that he does. Whatever pleases him.
“It hurts!” You cry out, wiggling your legs, attempting to close them—to no avail—while he pushes himself all the way inside of your pussy.
Mark snickers. He couldn’t care less.
“Oh, it hurts?” You nod, gulping down. “Tell me why it hurts.”
He doesn’t wait to move his hips back and forth, using you for his own sick pleasure right away without any second thought. You wanted this. You asked for this. Why should he be careful of you now? You shouldn’t have been so eager. Shouldn’t have acted like such a slut.
“It-” you begin, but a moan of pain cuts you off, Mark’s hips slapping violently against yours; it has your body moving up, your head hitting the armrest of the couch. “You’re- You’re too…”
“Am I going too rough on your virgin little cunt? Poor girl,” he coos, almost laughing in your face. “Too bad I don’t give a shit, huh?”
You sob out when he keeps on with the assault of his hips, his cock defiling your pussy like you’ve never imagined before. Mark knocks the air out of your lungs, panting heavily above you, his already short nails digging into the fat of your thigh.
You squirm around, pulling on your wrists, none of your attempts are successful— not like you want them to be anyway, but giving Mark a little of a fight is more fun.
“Please, Mark, I’m sorry,” you beg, lips trembling.
His eyes, filled with lust and hate at the same time, lay on you.
“You should’ve thought about it before pushing me over the edge, if it’s pity you wanted.”

HARD HEAD
Joel Miller x young reader
Summary: Joel gets caught with a hard-on when you're not supposed to be at his house. Your dad wouldn't be too happy to hear about it.
warnings: bad writing, i think this sucks, smut, light sex, cocksucking, cum inside, exposed sex, slutty reader, age gap, they get caught, we all wanted him so yes.
Tumblr media
◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇
And there you were — sitting outside with your hair down, wearing an oversized shirt that clearly wasn’t yours, probably stolen from one of your friends.
Joel felt like a goddamn pervert, standing there at his kitchen window, watching you blow out smoke from the joint, the weed scent drifting into his backyard — and still, his cock hardened at the sight of you laughing, lazily bringing the joint to your lips.
It made him feel even worse knowing your dad was his friend. He had no business thinking these kinds of thoughts about his neighbor’s twenty-year-old daughter.
Letting out a frustrated huff, Joel yanked himself away from the window, forcing himself not to do anything stupid — like touching himself right there at the sink, or worse, running upstairs to his bedroom for some damn privacy.
"Hey, I dropped the stuff from the truck in the garage,"
Tommy’s voice pulled Joel out of his thoughts, but all he got in response was a low grunt.
"You still stuck on that, man? Thought I was the one hooking up with college girls and you were the one judging me."
"I’m not gonna do anything," Joel grumbled. "Just tired. Need to clear my head."
Tommy smirked, grabbing his keys off the counter.
"Yeah, tired and backed up. Obvious."
"Shut up," Joel muttered.
"I’m serious, man. Try keeping it in your pants while Sarah’s gone, alright?"
"Get the hell outta here."
When Tommy finally left, Joel threw himself onto the couch, cracked open a beer, ordered a pizza, and flicked on the TV. Anything to get you off his mind. Anything at all. But then the doorbell rang — and there you were, hair messy, that sweet, mischievous smile on your face.
"Hi, Mr. Miller. My dad’s still at work, and basically everything at home stopped working."
Joel frowned.
"What do you mean, kid?"
"The wiring’s shorted out, the heater’s dead, no lights, no phone… everything’s just gone."
Joel shook his head, stepping aside to let you in. "Well, come on in."
"Thanks, Mr. Miller."
"Joel," he corrected gruffly. "Told you to call me Joel."
You just smiled that soft, knowing smile and curled up beside him on the couch.
"Sorry if I’m ruining your night," you said sweetly.
"You’re not," Joel lied. But every second you were sitting next to him, he could barely think straight — the scent of you, the warmth of your body — it was all driving him insane.
"I saw you smoking earlier," he muttered. "Shouldn’t be doing that."
You laughed, a sound that made his skin heat up.
"Come on. You never smoked a little to relax?"
"In college," he admitted. "But trust me — you don’t wanna get hooked on that crap. Your dad wouldn’t exactly be thrilled about his daughter turning into a pothead."
You leaned in closer, your voice dropping.
"So you’re saying this because you care what my dad thinks... not because you care about me?"
Joel shot you a sideways look.
"Why the hell would I care about you?"
You giggled — and then you moved the pillow from his lap, your hand finding the bulge he’d been trying to hide ever since you walked through the damn door.
"Looks like you do," you whispered.
"Stop," Joel warned, grabbing your wrist — but he didn’t pull you away.
"I don’t think you want me to stop, Joel."
You pouted, and Joel cursed under his breath, the fight draining out of him. You sank to your knees between his legs, pulling him free from his shorts, and took him into your mouth without hesitation.
"Shit," he groaned. "We shouldn’t be doing this."
But he didn’t stop you. Not even close.
"Oh baby," you murmured around him, making his eyes roll back."You wanna cum in my mouth, Joel?" you asked sweetly, and he gave a broken, desperate
"yes."
You sucked him harder, faster — until his hips bucked, his hand tightening in your hair — just as your phone buzzed against your butt. He snatched it up, meaning to ignore it, but then saw the name flashing across the screen: your father.
"Fuck," he muttered. You didn’t stop. You just smiled up at him wickedly — and answered the call.
"What the hell are you doing?" Joel hissed under his breath as your father's voice came through the speaker.
"Sweetheart? That you?"
"Hi, Ron," Joel said quickly, trying not to gasp.
"It’s Joel. She’s... uh... she’s stuffing her mouth, with...with pizza in the kitchen."
You gave him a warning look. Play it cool.
"Ah, figures. Got the alert about the outage. Just checking in to see if she was alright."
"Yeah," Joel managed, his voice strained as you sucked him deeper.
"All good here."
"Thanks for looking after my little girl."
"Yeah, no problem..." Joel said, right as you climbed into his lap, threw your shorts aside, and sank down onto him without any warning.
His head fell back, a deep groan tearing from his throat.
"I’ll let her know you called,"
Joel gritted out, barely hanging on.
"Alright. Thanks, man."
Without waiting for a goodbye, Joel ended the call — and immediately grabbed your hips, bouncing you hard in his lap.
"Goddamn, baby," he muttered.
"You feel so fuckin' good."
"You’re so big, Joel," you whimpered against his neck, clinging to him.
Joel's hands gripped your waist tighter, his thrusts deep and desperate, his need overwhelming him completely.
You shattered first — your whole body trembling as you cried out his name — and Joel followed right after, cumming deep inside you with a low, guttural growl. When it was over, the room was filled with nothing but your panting breaths — until you both heard it. A familiar voice, furious and dangerous: "What the hell did you just do to my daughter, you son of a bitch?"
You were so screwed.

okay so i was thinking how about you write the night drew and angel met and him finding out her age and stuff
you’d only ever seen drew around your dad’s movie set, the two of you had small convos and constantly exchanged ‘hi’s’ and little waves, but when you seen him outside set, you knew it was your only chance.
warnings/notes: both drew and angel drunk talking, drew liking little girls lol, angel tryna be sassy nonchalant, they’re both tryna play hard to get, suggestive ending! idk if i rlly like this
Tumblr media
it started with constant eye contact, then before you knew it you were both drunk and having a conversation about your age. "fuck, you're nineteen?" drew rubbed his head, regret filling up his body. he couldn't be seen messing around with someone as young as you, but the alcohol in his system didn’t make it seem like such a huge problem.
"well when you say it like that, it sounds bad.” you rolled your eyes, toying with drew’s hand that was much larger than yours.
“it is bad.” he chuckled. “you’re like half my age.” he never broke eye contact with you, you liked it, he was mature. “cmon,” you rubbed your hand across his chest. “you’re that much of an old man?” you giggled.
drew leaned down, his lips pressed against your ear. “yeah. waaayy too old for you.” he whispered. something about the way his hot breath hit your ear made your panties wet; he was so big, so tall, so old. you both knew it wasn’t the best decision, but god, were you both intrigued. “doesn’t mean we can’t still be friends.” you batted your eyelashes up at him, how did such a young girl like you know how to break him.
“yeah, what if you start to like me?” drew questioned you with a smirk plastered across his face. “what if you start to like me?” you turned the tables on him, trying your best to play along with his games. as if you weren’t on the verge of vomiting from the butterflies in your stomach. “who says i don’t?”
“well,” you looked away for a second, desperate to keep composure. “it’s gonna take more than that. i’m a classy girl.”
“classy girl, hm?” drew smirked, “those outfits don’t exactly scream ‘classy’.” drew looked you up and down, yeah, maybe he was using it as an excuse to check you out, but you didn’t need to know that. “yeah and you didn’t exactly scream pervert to me either.” you shot back. “but here we are.”
“woah,” drew set down his beer on the bar counter. “you’re sassy.” somehow the space between the both of you was closing, his big arms and chest practically bursting out of his shirt, you felt wrong and dirty for feeling as horny as you did. “what are you gonna do about it?”
“i don’t think you can handle what i’d do about it.” drew took another swig of his beer. you were both way past the point of drunk and horny. if drew was sober, he would’ve never came up to you in the first place. “yeah, okay.” you scoffed.
“you wanna find out?”

part 2 | supersoldiers!141 x f!reader
Tumblr media
“what?” johnny is the first one to say something audible, simon made a “huh?” noise that sounded more like a grunt whilst kyle remained silent.
“yeah, well… apparently a young soldier has been showing really good results and the general decided she would be moving to our unit.” john answers, almost as incredulous as he was when he first got the information, but keeping it together in front of his men.
“she?” simon asks, calmer and softer than he initially intended, but still a bit shocked – he blamed the confusion clouding his mind. johnny backs him up instantly, furrowed brows and crossed arms as he adds, “it’s a woman?”
“yeah,” john sighs, taking a big breath. they all knew that women in the military were usually grouped in women-only task forces because they usually shared different tasks than men – it wasn’t like they wanted to be surrounded by entitled men anyway, so they did their own thing. so to know this soldier was getting sent to their unit said a lot about who they were as a person. “it is a woman.”
“when is she going to get her dose?” kyle mumbles, talking for the first time since he walked in the room, voice clear but enveloped in uncertainty, “we should know how much time we have, so we can get to training as soon as possible.”
and of course kyle would say that out of all of them, training as a unit before taking a dose was essential, the almost in sync rhythm had to be settled before the dose forced them into an unnatural harmony. taking a designated dose without training together was said to be bothersome and even painful in some cases. the mix of unwanted sensations eats the team up constantly because of their lack of bond – their lack of knowing how to deal with one another. the boys never got that problem, but kyle wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to happen.
“so… remember that weird, gnawing feeling from last week…?” price voices out, and the boys already understood what he meant.
simon couldn't hold himself back, barking out his words in a demanding tone. “they gave her the dose four days ago? we don't even know each other,” his exasperated tone matching the stress building on their shoulders.
“i know, and i’m not happy either. but the only thing we can do now is try and make it work.” john says, more to himself than to calm his men. it was already a problem that they would have someone new to the team, having to share their emotions and sensations without proper preparation had to be the final straw. “if it will be bad for us, let's just think how bad it’s going to be for her taking a dose for the first time and having to deal with four new incoming sensations all at once.”
captain took his time sharing what he knew with the boys. to prevent big problems – like sending some of them into a mental spiral or something similar –, the woman was going to stay in her own place – nearby theirs – as they started training together. he said that they’ll meet at the base and that john will have full responsibility over their time together. it meant that no higher ups were going to stick their noses where they didn’t belong – which was a relief. he didn’t have much information about the soldier other than the fact that she was skilled enough to earn a spot on their team – probably something else too, because no ordinary soldier was grouped with supersoldiers with just ‘good enough skills’.
john wasn’t stressed, and that also calmed the boys a bit. five was the limit of people within a task force and long passed the time that they were told to hire someone to fill the remaining position, but to know they were obligated to do so was excruciating. their defiant nature was just begging them to dismiss any and all possibilities of working together with the new addition. they worked as a united force, someone new coming in was only going to disturb that harmony. simon was already thinking ‘how will i see her face everyday and keep the boys at ease without making it hard for her’. he couldn’t help it, he already felt some type of empathy for the woman – he knew it was probably his captain and kyle’s fault, they had too much nurturing instincts to fight off. johnny also was thinking what could he do on his end, since he knew the experience was going to be intense already, it didn’t help that he was also and naturally an overwhelming being. he already felt how he’d have to neglect himself in order to make her feel comfortable – but then again, all of them felt that way.
somehow, in between this new challenge and their usual work, the boys found within their group an ever stronger bond. the need for comfort to deal with the arrival of the recruit willed them to seek each other more – even if they didn’t meet her yet, it was like she was part of them in some ways, which was weird. they started acting like she was part of their routine already, leaving a spot on the table where she would sit during meals, buying more food, and cleaning the house more often – assuming that as a woman she’d like things to be tidy.
kyle started wordlessly moving to price’s room after dinner, where they’d sleep in each other's arms and somehow they seemed to dream the same fulfilling scenarios where she’d do the same. when they’d wake up, price was still with his eyes closed when he whispered “morning,” while his hand sneaked under kyle’s shirt to touch his waist. the sergeant was also with his eyes closed and he’d mumble “how’d you know i was awake?” to which the captain would just shrug. call it wild guess, they call it connection. simon and johnny were like one, literally. when simon felt like drinking water, johnny was already opening a bottle and handing it to him. when johnny felt a bit cold, simon would get up from his spot on the couch and close the window – and when john questioned why, simon simply replied with “johnny is cold,” even though he hadn’t spared johnny a single glance.
it eased their nerves, how they worked together through the uneasiness of having a new member. but then an uncomfortable, saddening feeling started creeping up their neck. simon is the first one to acknowledge it: insecurity. but it’s captain price who voices it out of their heads, “everything is going to be alright, lads, no need to worry.”
johnny only shrugs, and looks at kyle. kyle nods, answering for the both of them, “don’t think that’s us, cap.”
simon agrees, humming under his breath. he turns to price as he speaks, “think you know it too, right?”
“aye,” john answers, taking a pause. it was weird – to feel things from someone they didn’t know yet. “just wanted to make sure.”
“she seems precious,” kyle says, to which johnny lets out a laugh. “what? it’s true,” but he’s laughing as well. “think she’s shy, though.”
“aye,” is johnny who replies, his voice sounding as dreamy as kyle’s. “do ye think she can tell us apart?” then he grimaces, tilting his head as he adds, “mentally, i mean…”
simon snorts, but they know he’s thinking about it too. he looks at his captain then, and john hums in agreement, making a point of saying, “also don’t think it’s good to dwell on it, but i know… we all hope she does.”
you were always a bit of a nuisance, you thought. from a very young age you were sent to EDI which was short for “extra disciplinary institution”. it worked like an extension from school, you often got sent there for a week or two once you completed 12 years of age. it wasn’t bad, nor was it punitive. mostly, it was a place where you let out most of your pent up energy – something you had a lot growing up, and that often came out as defiance. their way of treating the kids depended on what it was that the child lacked control over the most. you invested your time in intense workout routines and logical reasoning exercises, to pass time and get distracted when you felt overwhelmed by your own thoughts – it worked for you, but a boy the same age as you who displayed the same traits spent his time painting and taking music classes.
police wasn't something that really existed anymore, neither did prisons. over the years “police” slowly morphed into SAET – security against external threats – and prisons were completely erased, along with most types of heavy crimes. SAET was only preoccupied with – obviously – external threats to civilians, they never really needed to intervene in crime within the city because that didn’t really happen anymore. robbery was still common, although the robbers were usually sent to work for the state in non-important roles where they could be attentively watched and still live life normally. kids who seem problematic or that caused too much commotion were sent to EDI for a while – never for too long, two weeks max in a row – to get enough attention and work their offenses against their lifestyle and sorts. you never caused actual problems, but you often skipped school and talked back to authoritative figures. lucky for you, you quickly found your place at EDI and by the age of 16 you started willingly going there. when you turned 18 you were recommended to work as a tutor and at 21 you were offered to be in charge of a whole class of kids sent there for the first time.
as the months passed by, you were offered a spot in SAET, but you declined. you didn’t like the idea of being stuck in your city, you wanted to be able to cross the border, study new places and see the remains of old civilizations on the wide places with empty concrete buildings and stray, wild animals. so when you got an informal visit from a general saying that he heard about your results and overall work at the institution and casually asked if you'd like to join the army, you thought ‘why not?’ and accepted.
SAET's whole purpose was to protect civilians, that's why they never moved beyond the border. but the army – huge thing that it was – worked as an active force against unknown targets beyond the city. they were the ones with the work on the field – actual action –, even though wars weren't a thing anymore. most threats came from mutation of wild animals and uncontrolled machines from failed experiments – sometimes both at once. the soldiers usually worked on search parties and rescue missions – when an injured animal was found somewhere too toxic or too hostile for it to survive. it wasn't a secret that all people who became part of the army had to be injected and experimented on. most of the time it was supposed to simply amplify their communicating skills, a way of improving their performance whenever they were inserted in their respective groups. although, a rumor that certain soldiers were kept somewhere far away from the city's edges – bordering wild life – started being more and more heard by you as you made your way through military life – two years was enough for you to come across all types of stories. they had too many years of training and became an extension of nature itself – faster, stronger and more willing to be protective towards the things they tend for. they also had a way to communicate that was unknown for human kind, it was more like when animals shared crucial information in order to survive.
you first learned that they were – in fact – real during a regular exam, when the doctor pointed an unusual response from your body to the usual procedures soldiers were subjected to – turns out you were one of the few people who “mutated” with the injections. you quickly learned that only one group of supersoldiers worked for this state at the moment, the other two task forces were working somewhere else around the world. you also learned that there was no way you could go to a normal task force because it would disturb the harmony of the group. it was best for you to work with task force 141, since it was where you’d fit in the most – it was where you belonged, naturally.
what you didn’t learn – or, better, what they didn’t tell you – was that task force 141 had bonded to a telepathic level. when you got your dose you didn’t question the fact that you had yet to train with them – to know them –, you felt different but nothing more. you thought it was mostly in your head, until you realized that you were growing closer to the day you’ll meet your team – yet to be team, actually, but you call them yours already. you couldn’t help the shadow of anxiety and insecurity that starts to drown you, and when a sudden – overwhelming – sense of confidence and tenderness washes over you, you start to pull the pieces together.
sometimes, over the first four days after you’ve taken your designated dose, you felt some things that didn’t feel quite yours – a thought would pop up out of nowhere and you’d think ‘the hell? the dose is making me think like a man’. after that, it doesn’t take too many days for the official meeting to happen. you had already moved to your new house and started what you called “dosed soldier training”, which was just an upgraded version of the training you used to do – it was the same, but adapted to your modifying body and improving skills.
it’s exactly eight days and 6 hours after you’ve taken your dose that you meet your soon-to-be teammates. when the boys see you they are nearly speechless. they are so lost, price has to slap the back of johnny’s head when he starts getting too lost in his imagination – which earned him some alone time with simon when they got home and kyle the beginning of a hard on. they watch you as you leave the car and move towards the entrance of the main building on base, where they stand completely entranced by how pretty you look – how well you already seem to fit with them. when you stand in front of them it's clear that you’re avoiding eye contact.
price clears his throat. “nice to meet you, soldier. captain john price.” he introduces himself, extending a hand. you take it in yours, shaking it a bit hesitant as you say your name. price looks to his right where a very pretty man stands, and he's quick to start talking.
“i'm sergeant kyle garrick. you can call me gaz,” his voice is calm and polite, but he doesn't put his hand out. you only nod, not having time to say anything because the man on the left side of john starts speaking as soon as kyle stops.
“john mactavish, i'm also a sergeant. most people call me soap, ye can call me johnny,” he finishes his sentence with a wink. he talks a lot, you notice, but it doesn’t bother you – if anything it eases the tense mood. different from gaz, he takes your hand in his in a small greeting and you give him a small smile as he does.
lastly, you look at the man standing beside soap – a very tall and masked man. you exchange a glance in a beat of silence before he says in a low tone, “ghost. lieutenant.”
you have to fight the urge to smile at him, unsure at how he’d receive it from you. you simply nod and turn your attention to the captain, waiting to follow them inside. john talks a bit about how the base works as you walk inside the building and into a meeting room. once inside the room, you are the first one to sit down, ghost taking a seat by your left and kyle moving to your right. you don't like it at first, but you feel less on edge when price and johnny settle on the table across from you. for most of the meeting it is price and soap who talk the most, telling you what you should know about their routine and how training will be from now on. they talk for a few minutes before the questions start, and then kyle starts to pipe in, asking a question every other moment. as you grow comfortable, you allow yourself to question a few things, settling in a nice, pleasant atmosphere – as the basic information about you is slowly being worked through.
as most important things get sorted out and you reach the end of the two hour meeting, price stands up. “have you eaten already?”
it takes you a moment to realize he’s talking to you, swiftly nodding as you watch the others stand up too. ghost gives you a look – you couldn’t possibly think of what was going through his head – and you feel pressured to elaborate your answer. so you glance back at john, taking the chance to look at your feet as you stand – to avoid eye contact – as you speak, “i’ve, hum… i had lunch before arriving, sir.”
“good, we already had lunch too,” john answers, moving to the door where he rests a hand on the doorknob. “we can go straight home, then.”
you follow them outside, expecting to have a car to pick you up and take you to your house. imagine your surprise when kyle holds the back seat door open for you, watching as your feet halt and you stop walking, making you chuckle nervously. and at your delayed entrance, johnny pops his head out of the window from the other side of the car. his voice is a bit too strained when he calls you out, “c’mon, get in, lass. we’ll drop you at your place.”
you clean your sweaty palms on the fabric of your pants in a nervous habit, climbing inside the car with your head low. johnny gives you a smile when you settle by his side, and kyle simply mutters “put your seatbelt on,” when he takes the seat to your left, closing the door as he does.
you spend the ride towards your house hyper-aware of how both your arms brush against johnny and kyle’s, whenever simon takes a turn on a high speed and your body sways towards one or the other. johnny has half a mind to grab your thigh to keep you from being pressed against his body whilst kyle is – nearly – purposefully manspreading to squeeze your smaller frame between the two of them. john has to turn to look back at them every once in a while, regretting not making you ride shotgun. hi keeps on squirming in his seat and he’s not sure if is simon’s hurry in getting home – his thoughts kept on betraying him and bringing him back to johnny’s reverie – or if it was from johnny and kyle who were fighting for their life at being so close to you so soon.
you, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the men’s inner dilemma. your mind was traveling towards the future as you tried to ignore the warmth radiating from the men sitting by your sides. should you invite them over? give them a tour of your house? maybe offer some tea? or should you just thank them and leave? you’ll see them in the morning alright, no need to fuss over their company—
“we’re here,” it’s price’s voice who snaps you out, and you look up from your fingers to realize that you’re already in front of your house. the lack of movement around your place is soothing – knowing it was always like that also soothed you, you kind of hated crowds.
“hum, thanks. for the ride…” your words are not as shaky as you thought they would be. you undo your seatbelt and turn to johnny’s side to leave the car. you two exchange a glance for a bit too long and kyle has to face his window in order to keep composure – johnny and simon keep on feeding into each other’s arousal, and it was making them all struggle. but, instead of being intimidated – like they thought you would – you laugh. maybe from the nervousness running through your veins, maybe because it is funny that you’re both kind of frozen.
“can you move? so i can leave…” you ask johnny, a smile still adorning your lips and johnny has to bite his cheek to refrain a – whimpered – ‘no’ to leave his lips. because no, he didn’t want you to leave just yet, but he also couldn’t stand being next to you anymore – oh, the perks of sharing deep emotions with your teammates.
so he simply nods, brows knitting together as he whispers out an, “sorry.” he opens the door and steps out, not giving you a hand as you mimic his movements – but honestly you think nothing of it.
when you move past john’s window he calls out for you, “we live in a house ten minutes away, in that direction.”
he’s pointing towards a more remote part of the region, the beginning of the woods starting to cover the edges of the road. you make a face, questioning “ten-minute walk or drive?”
“drive,” his smile catches your attention, and you don’t even realize it brings one of your own.
“huh,” you nod, contemplating. “good to know.”
his smile increases, and suddenly he feels johnny’s urge getting at him. he mentally curses how easily they get in tune sometimes. he watches as you walk towards your front door, unlocking it and stepping inside without looking back. “i swear johnny, we ain’t gon’ last a week if ya keep this up,” he says once simon re-starts the engine.
“sorry, cap. couldnae help it,” he says sheepishly, moving to take the seat you were in just a minute ago.
“can’t blame him, luvie’s got a thing about her,” simon is still focused on driving as he speaks, his voice echoes all their inner thoughts.
“aye. thought i’d lose it at how she smiled at johnny before the meeting,” kyle adds, his thigh brushing over johnny’s now that they’re side by side.
“fuckin’ hell,” john mumbles, a hint of amusement on his tone. “we’re fucked.”

Memories of Grandpa Dale
I was playing in the barn, but I was also hiding from my grandpa. I was aware that this hurt his feelings, but I didn’t know what else to do. Every year I’d ever visited him before, he’d seemed kind of mad at me, but I’d hoped still that year was the year that we’d finally be friends. I even made a list of things to do together.
Unfortunately, the list did not fix things¹ so I'd been forced to acknowledge that if he couldn't be happy with me there, and he couldn't be happy with me gone, then perhaps he simply could not be happy. At least, not until someone invented The Secret Third Thing.
(But I was only nine. So. That someone would probably not be me.)
Fortunately, being happy is a task that I've never needed to delegate - I’m actually quite good at it. I’d been sad in the barn for maybe an hour or so, but eventually that got boring, so I invented a new game where I would chase big clouds of shiny blue flies off the sun-warmed horse-poop and try to shoo them towards a corner of the barn that I knew had a large spiderweb in it.
I was perfectly aware that this is not ideal for the flies, but I had just read Charlotte’s Web, so my empathy function was very biased towards spiders, who I perceived as patient and compassionate and slightly maternal women. Who just happened to have eight legs.
(I, like most nine year old boys, would have personally been willing to fight a war for every patient, compassionate, slightly maternal woman I had ever met. If you, personally, have ever hugged a little boy who was trying very hard not to cry in front of his friends after skinning his knee, know that there is a child in this world that would kill in your name.)
(Now live with that knowledge.)
I played my game with the flies for a long time. Long enough to get into a rhythm of running and laughing and then panting outside on my back while wallowing in the long green grass.
It was during one of those walks outside to lay in the grass that I noticed my mom. She was sitting on a hay bale, looking baffled. I don’t know how long she’d been there, but I was too young and confident to even feel odd. She asked me what I was doing, and I just kind of gestured to the ceiling, and said, You know, just. Feeding spiders.²
She nodded. I was feeding spiders. Of course.
We sat there a few moments. It was an amicable silence, but I was still faintly relieved when she broke it.
Your grandpa’s been looking for you, she said. He got some grapes earlier. Wanted to take you to feed the ducks.
I've always really liked feeding ducks³. Visiting them had actually been the next thing on my list.
I was baffled by the effort.
He’s mad at me, I pointed out. My mom, to her credit, looked genuinely confused.
He’s not, she said.
But he was mad when we picked blackberries, I pointed out. And when we went on that walk down to the prairie. And he snapped at me this morning when I asked if I could have some of his dried mangos.
The mangos had been my last straw. The weirdest part was that he didn’t even say no, he just (angrily) said of course you can, as if it was an insult to his hospitality that I was asking when just the year before he’d yelled at me because I ate a tin of dried apples. Apparently, I was just supposed to know that those apples were exclusively reserved for The Apocalypse.
(To be fair, my grandpa has always been very worried about the apocalypse, but mostly in the context of not having enough dried apples for it. There was a period of my life where I thought that The Apocalypse referred to some kind of prophesied biblical event where there would be No More Apples. This thought has stuck with me for a very long time⁴.)
Well. Yeah. My mom said. He’s mad. But he’s not mad at you. He’s just… Mad.
I mulled this over.
What about the mangos? I asked, and she shrugged at that.
Alright, so that time he was mad at you, but that’s being mad one time in three days. Cut the man some slack, you’ve been asking him for permission before eating anything.
I just don’t want to eat the wrong thing, I said. I’ve always been very defensive of my rule-following. Both because rules are important, and also because that #10 can of dried apples ripped through me like a shotgun full of razor blades⁵. That “snack” had 400% the recommended daily fiber for an adult man. And I was very definitely not a grown man when I ate it.
It was a very painful experience is what I am trying to say.
I know, my mom said.
I don’t even like apples, I added. Still defensive.
I know, my mom said again. She’s very good at saying it. It always feels like she’s agreeing with me, and not just trying to rush me onto The Point. Sometimes, people need to make detours from The Point in order to explain things. Like, hypothetically, why they once ate a very large number of dehydrated apples. My mom is wise, and she has always known this. .
I just really wanted to eat something sweet, I continued. They don’t keep anything sweet in the whole house. The day before I ate those apples, I licked all the salt off a saltine just so I could eat the cracker plain. And then the cracker tasted just like a cookie. To me. That’s how crazy I was going.
My mom nodded her head sympathetically.
My first month of college, she said conspiratorially, I ate about a box of poptarts a day.
There was another longish pause as both of us considered what led us to this point.
My parents are crazy, my mom said at long last. It’s a very peaceful statement to her. I'm sure it was stressful when she first realized it, but she's had a long time to make her peace, and she's made it well.
Will you go with me? I asked. To feed the ducks?
He’s not mad at you, she said again. Reemphasizing her point. He’s just mad. It’s just how he is.
But she went with me anyway.
I watched Grandpa Dale closely the whole way to the pond to see if my mom was right. She was. She almost always is.  He was angry while he drove, and he was angry while he parked and he was even angry while he strode purposefully towards the park. When we got there, he took several grapes, and he angrily put them in his hand, and angrily extended the hand towards the ducks, and he looked at me, and for maybe a tenth of a second he looked okay. Not exactly happy, but a little less mad. Then a duck bit the webbing between his pointer finger and his thumb.
He immediately, without hesitation, without even a second thought, hit the duck with a haymaker⁶. For a human, the punch would have been devastating, but the duck had the benefit of having essentially no inertia, so it just kind of moved sideways and looked perplexed.
You son of a bitch, my grandpa said. This is a funny thing for anyone to say to a duck, but it was especially funny to hear coming from a former Mormon Bishop.
Quack,⁷ said the duck.
My mom started laughing. I'd felt a sort of holy terror at the anger my grandpa was exuding in that moment, but the moment she laughed I realized how absurd it was. I was watching a grown man beef with a duck. I was watching a grown man beef with the world.
I started laughing too. In a better world, maybe my grandpa would've joined. Maybe he would've taken a good hard look in the mirror and questioned why exactly he was so angry. But he didn't. Instead he swore at the duck some more, and he threw his remaining handful of grapes at it overhand, like a baseball, and then the duck ate the grapes out of the water, and my mom actually laughed so hard she started dry heaving a little, and my grandpa had to go sit in the car for a few minutes by himself to regain his composure.
¹ He managed to pick blackberries angrily
² Unfortunately, I do this kind of response quite a bit.
³ I got my first kiss from my wife because I managed to capture a duck. They're like, a motif for my life. Very lucky to have that.
⁴ I reference it again in this very weird short story.
⁵ I eat a lot of strange things.
⁶ My wife is concerned people will not know what a haymaker is. It is simply the most redneck kind of punch.
⁷ ...What did you expect it to say?

Seventeen and their baby💭
Tumblr media
─┈ ۫  ˖  ⊹ ୨sealmisuyu◛ ˚₊🍈 ֹ ׅ ɞ more content under the cut!
You were convinced that being an idol was supposed to be cool.
You were also convinced that being the youngest in a company full of older idols should not mean you were treated like a lost puppy at all times.
But Seventeen had other plans.
The first time you met Seventeen, you were starstruck. The second time you were ambushed.
"She’s so small" Seungkwan announced, staring at you like you were a rare animal at the zoo.
"I’m literally a normal height" you deadpanned, but it didn’t matter because Mingyu had already picked you up off the ground like a sack of rice.
"HAVE YOU BEEN EATING WELL?"
"PUT ME DOWN THE FUCK—"
And from that day on, the teasing never stopped. You were practically a baby to them, and they took their big brother roles seriously.
"Did you drink water today?"
You blinked up at Minghao, who had materialized out of nowhere with a bottle of water in hand.
"Uh… yeah?"
He squinted. "Drink again."
You sighed but took a sip anyway, because you knew better than to argue with him.
And it wasn’t just that.
When you tried ordering coffee, Joshua intercepted with a horrified gasp. "You’re too young for that!"
"Josh, I’m literally an adult"
"You’ll stunt your growth!"
"I’M ALREADY GROWN?!"
Dino nodded solemnly. "This is how they treat me, too. There’s no escape"
Unfortunately you learned that the hard way.
One time, you tripped during a music show rehearsal, and before you even hit the ground, Joshua had already caught you, Jeonghan was checking your knees, and Hoshi was yelling at the floor.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO HER?!"
(Hoshi please it’s just a floor)
And don’t even think about dating.
"Who are you texting?" Woozi asked casually, glancing at your phone.
"No one."
"You smiled."
"I was looking at a meme!"
But it was too late.
"WHO IS IT?"
"DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH?"
"IS IT SOMEONE WE KNOW?"
The way they interrogated you, you’d think you were committing a crime.
"Guys, I don’t even like anyone!" you huffed.
"Good" Vernon nodded"Boys are scary"
"…Aren't you a boy?"
"Exactly."
If you posted a selfie, they flooded the comments with embarrassing uncle energy.
"Our baby is so cute!!!" – Hoshi
"Why is she posing like that?" – Woozi
"POCKET SIZED" – DK
If you did a weevers live, they showed up in the chat like overbearing parents.
"Did you eat?" – Seungcheol
"Why are you still awake??" – Jeonghan
"She’s not even reading our comments, betrayal." – Jun
It wasn’t just words. They really did treat you like a younger sibling in every way. If you were lost in a music show building, you called Mingyu. If you were stressed about choreography, you messaged soonyoung for tips. If a sunbae was being intimidating, Wonwoo would just... stand next to you silently until they backed off.
And whenever you had a comeback, they made sure to cheer the loudest.
"She’s so tiny!" Dino cooed when he watched your latest stage.
"That’s crazy" Vernon muttered. "She’s literally our age gap in physical form"
You rolled your eyes at them but couldn’t help the smile creeping up your face.
They acted like you couldn’t even breathe without their supervision, but you kind of… loved it? They never let you feel alone in the industry, always making sure you had people to lean on.
So, after your first music show, when you turned your head instinctively to find your members, your eyes instead landed on them— Seventeen, screaming their heads off in the crowd like proud dads at a school play.
And when you cried after winning your first award, they didn’t tease, didn’t joke.
They just hugged you one by one, whispering, "We’re so proud of you little one"
And suddenly you realized.
They weren’t just your sunbaes.
They were family.

solet • everything under control
barça femení x teen!reader in which the younger players are worried about a B team player and they make it Alexia’s problem, and you learn that maybe letting people care for you isn’t that bad
When Alexia finishes training, she’s looking forward to quickly showering and rushing home, where her newly-arrived-from-a-work-trip girlfriend and leftovers from dinner at her mami’s house the night before are waiting for her. Her plans are quickly derailed when she enters the locker room. In a corner, a group of the youngest members of the team are huddled, rapidly speaking over each other with concerned expressions. Yeah, she’d definitely have to do damage control before making it home.
Surprisingly, she does not even have to force one of them to confess to whatever mess they had got themselves into this time. Vicky, Jana, Kika and Sydney approach her themselves before she can move to their side.
“Hey Capi, do you have a minute?” Okay, now she really is worried. If Vicky is approaching her so bashfully, something must be really wrong.
“Always. What have you all done now?”
“Nothing! Honestly Ale, so rude to make that assumption.” Jana responds, exasperatedly.
“Okay, let’s focus here, please” redirects Kika quickly.
Alexia waits for one of them to continue, but they all seem suddenly nervous and out of words.
Unexpectedly, it is Sydney, the youngest and shiest of the group, who breaks the silence.
“Do you remember the 15-year-old girl from the B team? She was in the group that joined training on Saturday.” Alexia nods. Of course she does. After their Supercopa win, they had decided to have a joint training with the B team, looking to source for up-and-coming talents. At just a couple months away from turning 16, you had amazed her. You had a great eye for plays, reading the game perfect and providing key pass after key pass. A perfect midfielder, only still slightly too young to transition into the first team. She does not understand why her teammates are bringing you up now, though.
“Well, the girls got worried because she wasn’t there when they came to see our game this weekend.” Sydney continues. “And I told them that she has been more distracted lately and showing up late to training. Our coaching team is more angry than concerned and we all think something is going on but we have no idea what to do.”
“So, um, we were thinking you could use your position as captain to try to find out more from the club? Please, Ale?” Jana finishes Sydney’s speech.
Alexia loves to see that you have already made a mark on the other players, and she feels so proud that they are looking after a younger player like she does for them.
“Okay.” Alexia sighs. “I’m not sure how much I can do, but I’ll keep an eye on it and ask some questions. Now, all of you a la ducha. C’mon kids, you stink!” The younger players roll their eyes at Alexia’s remark, but smile at her promise. They know she means it.
When Saturday comes along, you are surprised to find so many first team players at your match, including all four captains. It makes you even more nervous for today’s game. You had left your home after making sure your grandparents were set for the day and the neighbor was staying around to keep an eye on them. You do not wanna disappoint your team for a second week straight. And you know that another absence would get you benched. You had fought hard for your starting spot during the past year, having to prove yourself twice as much due to your age. You couldn’t give it up now.
You stretch with your team try to ignore the presence of the older players. Once the game starts, though, it is just you and the game. You tune out the yelling from the stands, your worry for your grandparents and your exhaustion after your abuelo’s surgery last week had meant a couple nights of sleeping in uncomfortable hospital chairs and getting up extra early to go to school.
It is a great match, especially for you. Two goals and an assistance later, you are beaming as they declare you player of the game. You are so relieved that such a good performance would quiet the concerns over your commitment to the club in the last couple of weeks.
You rush to the locker room, wanting to make it home as soon as possible and help your grandparents with their evening routine. But before you can run out the grounds to catch the train, you feel a hand tapping your back. Sydney, one of the kindest members of your team, is smiling at you. You also really admire her and the work she had been doing with the first team.
”Hey, congrats on the goals and thanks for the assist! The girls from the first team were telling me to bring you over. You made a mark during the joint training and they wanna congratulate you too. Wanna come?” You cannot believe what you are hearing. You forget all about the train you’re supposed to catch and nod enthusiastically. “Ye-yeah, let’s go!”
She smiles at you and pushes you towards the exit. The girls are waiting around in the parking lot. Vicky and Jana are the first to approach you, as you had attached yourself more to them during the training due to your closer ages. The rest come behind them, and you try not to blush when the older players congratulate you. You probably fail. The conversation moves from talking about your game to their future duels.
By the time you realise, an hour has gone by and the chances of you making it on time for dinner are slim. Your realization must have shown in your face, as Alexia touches your arm and frowns at your expression. “All good?”
“Yeah, I just…” You are unsure whether to share your concern, why would she care? But something in the kindness she has shown during the conversation, asking for your input and making sure you felt integrated, and the openness in her expression when she asks, moves you to respond. “I was supposed to be home already, and I’m not sure when the next train that reaches my town passes.” You worry at your lip.
“Would it be okay if I drive you then? It’ll be faster.” You’re shocked at her offer.
“Ye-yeah, that would be great.”
“Good, I wouldn’t want your parents to worry.” You’re both too busy saying your goodbyes to realize your smile has faltered and the pointed glances that Alexia is receiving.
The drive to your home is mostly silent after you give Alexia your address. She is shocked at how far away from the city it is, and you’re uncomfortable at her realization of how much time you spend commuting to training using public transport. The silence is not necessarily awkward though. The soft radio music and the constant thrum of the car settle you into a warm comfort. You feel cared for by an adult, instead of being worried about them, for the first team in a while. Alexia breaks the silence mid-way though.
“What happened last weekend? You weren’t there.” She flinches at her own tactlessness, but isn’t willing to let it go.
You squirm, not sure how much you’re comfortable sharing.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t pry like this, you barely know me. The girls were worried though, so I asked your coaching team and they also didn’t know. Is everything okay?” It takes you a bit to take in her words. You feel warmth at the girls’ concern, but uncomfortable at the idea of people talking about you and trying to pry about your life. You’re used to doing everything yourself, and having other people involved is weird. Still, the kindness and concern are obvious in her voice and expression, so you decide to give a bit of information in the hopes that she will understand and leave it behind.
“Just some family things. All good though, it’s solved and I’m 110% committed to the team.”
“I never thought you weren’t. Just wanted to make sure you’ve got the support you need.” That leaves you silent again. You do, right? You don’t want to worry anyone because you don’t need it. You’ve got everything under control and things are okay.
“I do! Yeah.”
“Good, good.”
You return to silence for the rest of the drive, but both of you are stuck in the other's words.
When the car comes to a stop outside your home, you’re turning around to thank Alexia for the ride but she’s opening her own door and walking towards your door. The sight spurs you o, and you run to the door to reach her before she has a chance to ring the bell.
“You don’t have to come in!” Alexia raises an eyebrow.
“Thank you for driving me, it was so nice of you but I’m all good to go from here.” You quickly add. She frowns, and looks ready to contradict you but your conversation is interrupted by the door opening.
“Good, you’re here! I heard the car coming and was unsure but I’m glad you got someone to drive you instead of catching the train so late, mi vida.” Your grandma is smiling at you from the door, and you forget about your conversation with Alexia in favor of hugging her. When you, after a few seconds, come out of the hug, Alexia’s eyes are back to a soft expression.
“Both of you, in you go! Dinner is at the table ready.”
“Uh… Grandma, this is…”
“Oh, mi vida. I know perfectly well who she is considering how much you talk about her and her career.”
You’ve already blushed a lot today, but now surely you must be the reddest so far. Alexia practically coos at the statement, proud to be a good role model for young players like you, but she’s reluctant to take your grandma’s offer.
“Thank you for the invitation but I would not want to impose on your dinner.”
“Nonsense. It’ll take too long for you to get back to the city. Stay. Dinner is with your team’s rules on diet for mi nieta so I’m sure it’s suitable for you too.”
Alexia seems to be weighing her options. She doesn’t want to impose but she does want to get a better understanding of your situation so she can give a calming response to the girls.
“Okay, I’ll stay.”
As you all walk toward the living room, your grandma must notice your inquisitive looks and reluctance to ask.
“He’s all good, mi vida. We both had dinner an hour ago, and the neighbor came by to help me get him ready for bed. He’s sleeping now, don’t you worry.” You still feel guilty. You should have been here to help make dinner and make sure they took their meds and get them ready for bed.
“Now sit, both of you. I set another plate when I saw you came accompanied by car. I am gonna go to bed myself now. You both have a good night. And a safe trip back home for you Alexia.”
As she takes her leave up the stairs, the room is left silent until Alexia breaks it.
“Alright kid, let’s have dinner then.”
You’re on auto-pilot as you sit down at the table and start to eat, your mind still stuck on all the things you hadn’t been here for.
“So, are your parents out of town for the night?” You swallow audibly. You don’t like to talk about this, but you know she won’t let it go.
“No, um, no. It’s just us three.” You avoid her gaze, not wanting to see the usual look of pity you receive.
“Oh, I’m sorry, that sucks.” You can tell she’s flinching.
“It’s always been the three of us. I was a baby when they passed.” You shrug.
You dare look at her, and her expression surprises you. There’s still the pity you hate, but there’s also an understanding. Right, her dad. Your circumstances might be different, but she does know loss.
“So, um, you help around a lot then?”
“Ye-yeah.” You don’t want her to doubt your commitment to the club though. “But I make it work! I have a good grasp on my schedule and great discipline.”
“I don’t doubt it, you’re such a solet.” (good kid, but also literally little sun)
She smiles so kindly at you it overwhelms you. The conversation shifts to lighter topics, about your play style, both of your future games and even sharing small glimpses of each other’s lives. When you're done, she helps you clean up the table and dishes, it only takes a few minutes with her help.
“I’m gonna go home now, I don’t want my girlfriend to wait until late for me. Please tell your grandma thank you for the meal, it was delicious, and that you have a beautiful home.”
“Yeah, of course.” You smile easily now, her presence comforting.
“And you… you’re doing well. Believe it. But please also let yourself seek help when you need it. You’re not alone. Rely on your team and your coaches. You’re just a kid, let the adults take care of you, yeah?”
“Yeah. Yes, thank you again for driving me home.” You weren’t sure how much you could let go of the tight control you held in your life, but it felt nice to be told that you weren’t alone.
“Of course, my pleasure. I am happy to help. I’ll see you soon, yeah, solet?”
And as you watch her drive out of your driveway, you cannot imagine how true that is.

Wibirbs Wobble Part 15
masterpost
Bruce stood, along with most of the theater as Cass and her dance partner came onto the stage to join the rest of the Cass. Bruce was so proud of her. Despite everything Cass had been through, she had grown to be such a kind, confident young lady. For her not only get up on a stage and dance but to also be the one of the leads was truly a testament to how hard she had worked to find a life she wanted.
Next to him, Danny stood, wavered, and ended up right back in his seat.
“Danny?”
“I’m fine, watch your daughter,” Danny said. He waved one hand dismissively at Bruce while he rested his forehead in the other.
He’d gone alarming pale.
Reluctantly, Bruce turned back to applaud one last time. As soon as the curtains closed, Bruce took a knee in front of Danny’s chair.
“I’m fine,” Danny tried again.
“You look like a ghost,” Bruce argued and took Danny’s wrist.
Danny covered a snort of laughter with his other hand.
Danny’s pulse fluttered weakly under Bruce’s fingers. “We should get you to an urgent care—”
“It’s fine,” Danny said. Even his smile looked a little weak. “I just need a moment.”
Bruce doubted that a moment would help much. “I’m worried about your pulse.”
“You caught that?” Danny asked, question curious and not at all concerned.
“I was studying to be a doctor at once point,” Bruce pointed out dryly.
“You were? Hum, maybe I’ve heard that before? I don’t really know,” Danny said before he shook his head a little. (The movement did Danny’s coloring no favors.) “But okay look, I know about my pulse issues. I’m having a bit of a bad… few weeks right now, but I’ll be fine. I’ve already seen my doctor about it. I get how it seems concerning, and yeah I need to keep taking it easy a bit, but this is pretty normal for me. I have some complications from an accident when I was a kid.”
Bruce frowned, searching the words for a lie.
There wasn’t one, even if there also wasn’t much information.
“At least let us offer you a ride home then,” Bruce insisted. He continued quickly when it seemed Danny would protest. “It really won’t be an issue and it would make me feel better to know you got home safe.”
Danny’s lips pressed together thinly.
Bruce pulled out the big guns. “And Cass would hate it if you were hurt from coming to see her perform.”
“Does she have everyone wrapped around her finger?” Danny asked, lips quirking into a little smile.
“Basically since she arrived,” Bruce said wryly. He stood and offered Danny both his arms, palms up. “Please stand carefully. If you go over the edge of the box I’ll have to drive to save you or something equally dramatic.”
“We would make the papers for sure,” Danny said. His grip was concernedly shaky as he wrapped his hands around Bruce’s forearms, but he stood in a smooth motion, even if he ended up basically leaning against Bruce’s chest. Danny stepped back after a second, cheeks dusted with red. “Okay, should I just… wait for you out front?”
“It’s adorable how you think I’m letting you out of my sight,” Bruce said. He rested his hand lightly on the small of Danny’s back and started to guide the other out of the box. “Again, you falling over the edge of the box, down the stairs, dramatically onto some absurdly pointy bit of Gotham architecture— these are all things I am not going to take a risk of happening to you.”
“You are such a father.”
“I don’t know if that’s a compliment or an insult,” Bruce said honestly as they took the back stairs down to avoid the crowd.
“Oh, well, more of just a statement? But definitely not an insult,” Danny insisted.
They were tucked slightly close together until the stairs opened up into a sitting room that was kept aside traditionally for those in the boxes. Tonight the Wayne name had kept it aside for for Bruce, his family, and their close friends. Well, and Danny, Bruce mused as he made the other sit down on the sofa that purely for looks and not comfort.
Bruce poured a glass of the recently refreshed water and brought it over to Danny.
“I really will be alright,” Danny said, but took the glass and a long sip. His color was a little better after some water. “I’ve been dealing with some level of this for… huh, almost twenty five years now. I sorta hadn’t realized that it had been so long… but anyways, that means I’m used to it.”
Bruce rested on the arm of the sofa. “Just because you’re used to it, that doesn’t mean that you have to bear it alone.”
Danny gave a little shrug. “But I do, Bruce, or a lot of it at least. I live alone after all.”
The door burst open as the room was swarmed with a multitude of Waynes and might-as-well-be-Waynes. It left Bruce without any time to respond to that and grateful, as he watched his family pile into the room, that he had been lucky enough despite everything to not end up alone.
Tim was the one who paused, as if just noticing Danny, before shaking his head. “Right, the engineer Cass invited! Hi, I’m Tim. I intern at WE so you might see me around there too. Well, not that you won’t see the others, but I mean that you might see me more often.”
“Nice to meet you Tim, though I don’t know how often you’ll be down by engineering,” Danny said.
Danny had a bit of a tight grip on the glass in his hands, but Bruce supposed it was a great deal of people very suddenly. There was something though…
“Oh, Tim is also a huge nerd,” Steph said as she threw her arm over Tim’s shoulder. “He likes to tinker so you might be surprised. Trust me, I’m his ex.”
“We only dated for months,” Tim said with a roll of his eyes.
“That’s Stephanie, a family friend,” Bruce cut in before things got far too out of hand. “You know Dick and this is Barbara, who he mentioned. Jason, my second oldest, is in the back with his boyfriend Roy, Duke is next to them, and this is Damian, my youngest.”
“Greetings,” Damian said. His tone was sever, but far more curious than cutting. Bruce was proud of the growth even if there was still more work to be done.
“Hello everyone. Like Tim said, I’m Danny,” Danny said with a little smile that was mostly real with just a bit of polite company strain. “Cass spent an afternoon in my office chatting with me. I suppose since we talked so much about the show, she invited me to see it. Sorry to invade your family time though, I didn’t know I would be doing that.”
“That’s just how this family goes,” Barbara said with a soft chuckle. “Trust me, I’ve been around them long enough to know how they absorb people.”
“Way to make us sound nefarious, Barbie,” Jason grumbled.
“No, no, you guys are,” Roy said casually. “It’s in a good way, sure, but you’re still sorta nefarious and you definitely absorb people. This isn’t even everyone.”
“Have I apologized for them already?” Bruce asked, though he supposed the fond warmth in his words ruined the intent.
Luckily Danny just gave a soft laugh. “Don’t. The best sort of family and friendships all have a good helping of chaos and malarkey.”
“Malarkey?” Steph repeated.
“It’s a good word, illiterate ingrate,” Jason defended.
The room dissolve into chaos and Bruce turned to apologize again only to find Danny watching the group with a small but fond smile.
