Matrix Spoon Boy's message
Many have seen the Matrix but it seems fewer grasp just how powerful the 'spoon boy's' message was when Neo first visits the oracle... The boy says to Neo:
"Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you'll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."
What he's saying is there is nothing that is NOT yourself, BECAUSE 'Neo' was not just an entity as the body, 'Neo' was the entire Matrix becoming self aware to re-write and change itself - this is why in the final movie there is rain and in the very end there is sunshine.
Anyone who knows the Matrix knows EVERYTHING which appears is really shaped through Matrix code which means 'Neo' (who could visibly see this code) was all of the characters and places, not just the one we saw in the flesh as 'Neo'.
Why do you think in the end Mr Smith asks Neo if he realises its impossible to win, that he simply can't.... And the reason nothing can be 'won' is they are not separate and Neo began realising himself as 'The Matrix' itself rather than just a body which is why he no longer fights Smith and allows him to enter his body.... The body was not 'Neo'....
'Neo' becoming the chosen one is acknowledging the self as the entire Matrix, as one self and not two...(Mr. Anderson and Smith)
There is no body which is separate from earth, only MIND has made this concept. Earth and body are ONE beyond what we call them... We are not Mr Anderson nor Neo, we are the entire Matrix writing itself to experience itself.
Realise everything in the form which changes is only yourself because the self is not just limited to this body... Each and everyone of you are this 'CHOSEN ONE'.
But what did Morpheus say to Neo...
"DON'T THINK YOU ARE, KNOW YOU ARE".....
Until The One believes... They remain as just a character feeling stuck inside of something or somewhere when there is no where or place separate from your true self - which is why in the beginning it says: "The Matrix Has You..."
In the beginning he existed as an illusory identity of Mr Anderson, the Matrix had him but he did not have the Matrix. He was not aware of the self beyond identity and form so through meeting Morpheus, "he died" and realised himself as the "chosen one" who can directly change and save his experience.
What this means is ANYONE of these characters could of became 'Neo' because Neo is a realisation of the true self similar to "Christ Consciousness" as we know it...
We are ALL this chosen one but until this is realised, we will never find it but seek it....
You do not become it, you ARE already IT... Any process is like running past the finish line after you've won a race, if you continue running, when do you acknowledge you've already finished...

I’m convinced anyone who says Astroid City has no plot or is just Wes Anderson showing off didn’t watch the fucking movie.
It’s quite literally about the meaning of life, about how even if there is no meaning we need to keep living. Positive nihilism, if you will. Maybe there is no point in living other than to live.
A direct quote: “Don’t try to understand it. Just keep telling the story.”

My favorite Wes Anderson movie is The Grand Budapest Hotel, but The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is definitely a close second.

Say, how'd Wo-Chien handle the technological/scientific advancement of... Well, everything. I mean, it must have been quiet a shock to wake up to a world that's alien to him. To moving pictures, to medicines that cures, roughly, everything... Must've been a lot to take in. And what would be his favorite piece of technology/science?
Wo-Chien has lived in Paldea since it was ruled by royalty, and he's seen two kings come and go(with the first being eliminated by his own hand..err..vine), and he earned his freedom after asking for it and having it be granted by a mon that he only got to know while conversing through a hole in the shrine wall. After wandering around for another few hundred years following those events, Wo got to see the rise of the Paldean industrial revolution.
During that time, he was kept very busy. Wo wasn't an assist mon, but he did help the humans build their towns, and he wrote down their ideas so they wouldn't be forgotten. The snail got to see a lot of what went on, including the formation of what would be known as Mesagoza, and the various inventions that were made by those that requested that he wrote down their ideas.
Wo-Chien still embraces progress, even in the modern day. He likes to see new inventions, which often leads to him thinking about what they could do for him if he got to use them.
Over the years, he's been introduced to things like roombas, electric stoves, solar panels and smartphones by those who have more knowledge about them than he does. Wo-Chien makes sure to write down as much as he can whenever he's told about them, including how they work so that he could figure out how to use them on his own.
Wo also likes the older tech too. In the Mesagoza cinema, he got to find out about what sort of projectors they used in the past to show movies. The sort of machine used - one of those big bulky ones that most likely had to be wound up - intrigues him so very much. He spends quite a while looking over the one that they have in the Mesagoza 'Museum of Cinema', pondering about how it works.
Wo-Chien does like movies. He was there in Mesagoza when the city's cinema opened, and from then onwards he's been a regular patron. When he goes to see movies, Wo usually stays for several at a time, and his favorite genres are comedy, vintage(those old silent black and white ones), old horror(like '2001: A Space Odyssey' and 'The Thing'), murder mystery, and anything by Wes Anderson.
Wo knows that medicines don't cure everything, but that doesn't stop him from looking into them to find out more about them. He sometimes helps the science students in the academy with their studies, offering his plants to become parts in their experimental remedies. One day he would like to see medication get invented that does cure every disease...but, until then, he'll keep thinking about it.
His favorite parts of science would be biology, and he has a big liking for botany. He also likes to look into things like prehistoric life too(both the plants of the past as well as the animals that existed way back when), as he's heard of fossil Pokemon, but hasn't seen any. He hopes to do so one day so he can write about them.
Wo's favorite tech includes the Rotom Phone, the roomba, the electric stove, solar panels, and big bulky old movie projectors.

🤠🥀 (hi it's metal-dads 👋)
Hello @metal-dads !! Thank you for sending this! 😊
🤠: Are you more of a City Person or a Country Person?
Oh, definitely a City Person haha! I don't think I could ever live in a rural community or somewhere out in the country just because my biggest fear would be how long it would take to get to the hospital in case of an emergency. I can't help but think that any time I see a beautiful farmhouse when we drive to see my inlaws, 'BUT HOSPITAL?!'
But I've also lived in a big city my whole life so I don't have the experience of country living.
🥀 Your Favourite Animated Movie?
This was a way tougher question because I have so many caveats, are we talkin favourite animated movie from my childhood, my favourite now as an adult? A favourite claymation, digital animation, hand drawn? Because I love so many animated movies honestly.
IF we are talking, favourite from my childhood, that I could recite verbatim now as an adult? It would be The Lion King -hands down.
But also maybe Nightmare Before Christmas - I watch that every year and have to sing along. Tis a must every Halloween!
(This was very fun to think about and try to answer, thank you!)

Unless John Waters is hired to direct, I’m boycotting. He’s the only director who would give us Ianthe as gross, greasy and eat-like as we deserve.
I'm ashamed to admit, I had to look him up. I've never seen a single one of these movies, hairspray is the only title I recognize. I'm not exactly a film buff, but I'll take your word for it!
