Roommate Go-Go HCs

Although she’d lay claim to the bed - hey, Dale pretty much gave her the option, she was taking it, if there were times when she felt like she couldn’t sleep, she’d wake him and tell him that he could take it. She pulls a lot of all nighters while working on projects, so he’ll get it probably half of the time.

She’ll usually bring home some leftovers from work for the two of them. Omurice mainly, sometimes sandwiches, curry with rice, and desserts every once in a while, cupcakes that unfortunately have drawings of the maids tucked into them. Go-Go always makes sure that Dale never gets one of her.

When she gets into a project, like the wheelchair which she’d do in the bedroom because he’s weird about seeing what she’s doing, she’ll neglect food and sleep until she’s finished, she gets extremely focused like that.

When she does eventually leave, things will be better than they were before. She was like Willem and his dolls, always tinkering. The oven will have better circulation, the toaster will work quicker, automatic soap dispenser built onto the bathroom and kitchen sinks, boosted the reception on the television, increased the water pressure in the shower, made the dishwasher run more silently, and upgraded Elsa’s vacuum for better suction.

It’ll be near impossible to catch her in her work uniform. She changes at work, both before her shift and after, just so she doesn’t have to ride back with the humiliation.

There are times when she might be caught in the bathroom, practicing “cute” expressions for work because the main complaint that she gets is that she’s not kawaii enough. And then she often sticks her tongue out and makes fun of herself under her breath. If it wasn’t for the damn money...

She steals her bike from her house along with some of her other things, so she’s able to get to and from work when the weather isn’t bad, so she’s not bugging Dale for rides or anything. Once in a while, she’ll get a ride from one of her racing friends if there is unfortunate weather because no one wants a drowned-looking cat-maid to serve their drinks.

She doesn’t invite people over or anything - except for Scout, she’s really respectful of the place. She’s also not a neatfreak but she does clean up after herself, even if it’s a few hours later.

Redline, Hackers and Tetsuo The Iron Man 1 are her comfort movies, so if she’s curled up with those and big headphones, she’s not having a good day.

If theres anytime that Dale’s laundry ends up with hers, she’ll usually fling it back at him clean. Like full on slingshot his underwear to his face. Dunk his pants on his head so the legs are up like pigtails.

after his game you always wait for him outside the gym, win or lose

he goes with his team back to the school and you meet him there too

you either go to his house or yours and one of you spends the night just to calm down his head

you always get snacks and even if he tells you to not get to much junk you always get to much and he doesn’t stop you

if he won then you talk about the next match and his thoughts on the team

he’ll also spin you around when he sees you outside the gym

idk he loves doing it

if he lost than he’ll start on things he needs to do better on and you’ll try and cheer him up with some corny jokes and kithes.

all the morning before the game you two are attached at the hip. 

everyone is just used to you “sneaking” onto the bus to drive with them

in reality him trying and failing horribly to cover you with his jacket and coach just giving up on it

constant quiet giggles at first as you try and calm his nerves

then around the end its more quiet and serious as he focuses a little more

after the game he naps on you the whole way home

if he wins you get to listen to his rambling about some idea he had on signals he could use or a set up he wants to try

he could literally talk for hours on what he was thinking wall watching and playing its so adorable

if he loses then theres a aura of sadness in the bus and if its bad enough he’ll muffle his small sniffs into your shoulder

that hasn’t happen except for date tech and sejioh though and your happy for that

noya constant teasing for a week straight since the big dork is constantly on you freaking out

normally its not to bad and a lot of it is just of how scare he is that his spikes will get blocked a lot and the comments he’s sure to receive about his looks when he gets there

when game day does come you always kiss his cheek and hold his face to tell him good luck

def earning gags from tssuki but you didn’t hear it from me

after the game its like teddy bear time x10

win or lose you get a new weighted blanket for a couple of days

if he wins its a more happy blanket yes but he’s so exhausted that he just falls asleep on you the minute you meet him at his house after they left for the bus

plus a bunch of random ‘holy crap wait i did that?!”’s to himself throughout the day

if he loses he cries a little, blaming himself for the entire thing

you always tell him that its not his fault and that he did his best

he’s honestly so pessimistic the night after and your one it telling him that he needs to remember how it feels but not let it bring him down

you bring him up with those comments and he’s so grateful for it

every time the day before a game he likes to go somewhere with you

weather it be the park, the arcade, an ice cream shop

a freaking pet shop (yes you almost got a pet that day)

he finds it relaxing to see you having a nice time with him and every time he always makes sure its a place to make you smile

after the game he’s a koala on you, win or lose

the only real difference is happy koala or sad koala

happy koala is randomly kissing you and laughing, nuzzling into you while Tanaka either gags or whines about how single he feels

sad koala is sniffling into your shoulder and clinging to you even more if its possible, hes pretty quiet too so you know hes waiting until you get home to talk about everything

course after that mini pout session hes all fighting and ready to see that team again and win

either one also ends with a cuddle movie night until like 2am

also unrelated but like he’s so freaking hot when he receives so always tell him that

ok ok this boy omg 

so before the game its MAJOR sucking up to you

literally after a while you’ll get more used to it and get what kinds of attention he wants but like at first its just a lot of complements and stares and draping

literally ennoshita is stretched so thin the week before hand by it all

no one even understands why he’s sucking up to you other than him, you (after a little), and ennoshita

he just wants you to return the energy

after the game all depends on winning or loosing

if the win he will always, without fail, kiss you like a million times all over your face when he sees you next

does not matter if its outside the gym or if its when he gets back to the school or what

every time

if they lose, well you now have a very sad puppy on your hands

mentally during a game he’s like no one you’ve never met but when he gets home and has sometime to think its all a bunch of ‘i could have done better’ and ‘i should have done better’ s

normally he likes to chat about stuff that went on in practice or how hinata pissed him off that day while yall are sprawled on his couch

alright this boy before the game is normally fairly daily ngl

you get normal bouncy sunshine that will follow you anywhere and everywhere all the time

but the night before you get meditation mode where he sets out his game stuff and sits there for like half an hour

first time this happened you got scared for him cause he never sits still that long

now though you just sorta hang on his bed watching him cause its cute

after the game is the biggest depending there is out of the rest

if he wins he is bouncing of the walls after a little nap

when you finally get him home he’ll have you throw the ball back and forth for like an hour before you call it and make him lay down or eat or something

if he loses its like he lost all his energy for a little while

he tries to fall asleep but cant due to a replay of something he did wrong

you always run your hand through his hair and try to calm him down

calm down as in cheer up not energy

at least until someone says something (usually tanaka) that gets him on another energy high to beat them next time

once again I think he’s a lot more affectionate in private so you lay on him while hes on his phone to calm down

half the time its calming you down since you were freaking out more than him

after a game is always the same thing unless he screwed up a serve really bad

I was glad that Hermione was my partner in Herbology. I had forgotten to go over today’s lesson last night and I wasn’t ahead or prepared as I normally was.

“This is the only time I letting you slide on this.” Hermione warned. “Draco or not, you still need to keep up on your studies,”

I nodded and watched as she handled the flutterby bush, pruning it successfully. I followed her suit, mimicking exactly what she did and reaped the same results. Professor Sprout seemed pleased with both of us and awarded Gryffindor ten points for each of us.

I watched Harry and Ron struggle across from us, and giving in, I went over to help. Harry’s eyes met mine and something passed between us: a truce of sorts.

With the end of herbology came lunch: when I would see Draco again. The three seemed to realize that.

“Are you going to sit with him then?” Hermione asked innocently.

“I’m... not entirely sure. I mean we do have Creatures together after so... maybe? If he asks?” I offered. “He could always sit with us,” I commented.

I could tell that both Ron and Harry had something to say about that but refrained from it.

“He’d be more welcome at our table than I would be with the Slytherins,” I pointed out. “And I’d rather not get into it again with Pansy,”

They both muttered agreements and I felt that it was a small step in the right direction. 

“Has he asked you yet?” Ron changed the topic. “To the ball, ya know?”

“No,” I sulked. “I think he tried this morning though,”

“What? Did he chicken out?” Harry snickered.

“Yes, I think he took a page from your book Harry,” I smirked. “Are you ever going to ask anyone?”

Harry and Ron both looked down, grumbling their answers.

We entered the Great Hall that was buzzing with the usual chatter. AS every year, it was decorated for the upcoming holidays that held a certain warmth and excitement to them.

My eyes scanned for Draco, not seeing him. Feeling a bit defeated, I sat at the Gryffindor table, half-heartedly making my way through the warm soup that was served for the chill of the day.

Draco almost stumbled into the Great Hall, his History of Magic class having run late because apparently the goblin uprising was more importing than a time schedule or a bell.

And he saw you, sitting at the Gryffindor table, laughing with your friends as if you didn’t have a care in the world, despite what was hovering over them both. He paused a moment, watching you before your gaze followed Ron’s and your eyes met his, an amused smirk on your face; caught staring.

“Are you okay?” You mouthed.

He nodded and recovered, making his way over to you, his nerves growing with every step. He was determined to ask you to the Yule Ball if it was the last thing that he did today.

He could do this. What were you going to do? Say no?

Well, you could totally do that and well, he’d have to accept it, but you wouldn’t say no would you?

As he neared your table, you stood, untucking yourself from the bench and facing him. 

“Hi,” You breathed out. “You’re late,” There was mischief in your eyes.

“Binns,” It was more than enough of an explanation as your face scrunched up in pity. 

“Sorry,” You sympathized. “Another goblin war then?”

He nodded; words caught on his tongue.

“Do you want to sit with us for lunch?” You looked to him earnestly, eyebrows raised.

“Yes, but... before that.” He grabbed your hand. “I... I wanted to ask this morning but didn’t.”

He took a deep breath, distracted by you catching your bottom lip between your teeth. Did you know you were trying to kill him when you did that?

“Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?”

A laughed bubbled through your lips as you lit up.

“Yes, of course I’ll go with you,” You threw a side glance to Ron and Harry, and he felt as if he was missing something.

You didn’t let go of his hand as the two of you sat at the Gryffindor table and had lunch together. His nerves were eating him on the inside; he didn’t belong at this table... he was hated at this table if anywhere.

Yet, with you by his side, no one said a word to him that had malice intent behind it. Instead the conversation shifted and flowed between classes, and homework, the upcoming Ball, the Triwizard cup.

He didn’t speak up as much as he would have in his group of friends, but he eagerly watched you animate the conversation. It was different, watching you up close, and being a part of your own little world here at school.

Every once in a while, you’d squeeze his hand and pull him from his thoughts, or simply reassure him.

Traitor, his father’s voice hissed.

He had a sinking feeling in his chest when he thought about his father and that no doubt, he already knew about what he had been doing and that he had been with you, defending and choosing you over all else. It was a box of anxiety that he kept locked tight to worry about at a later date.

Walking down to Care for Mythical Creatures, he still held your hand, and, in the snow, you huddled closer to him, fearing the cold around you.

“Afraid of a little chill?” He teased.

You gave him a sharp look, your teeth all but chattering and your nose and cheeks flushed red.

Be a gentleman, His mother scolded.

He stopped you, tugging your hand and momentarily set his bag down and slipped his robe off, draping it around your shoulders, all the while you protested.

“I-I’m okay,” You shivered. “You don’t have t-too.” “Wear it,” He nearly ordered. “I’ll be okay. I’m used to the cold,”

You pouted a moment but gave in, slipping your arms into his Slytherin robe and almost curled up into it. He didn’t want to admit it, but he loved seeing you in Slytherin colors.

“You’re staring,” The quip left your lips as you took his hand wand continued with the rest of the students down to Hagrid’s.

“You look good in Slytherin,” He retorted, smirking when you turned a deeper shade of red.

In Creatures, I all but huddled into Draco, feeding off of his warmth, now that mid-winter was approaching quickly the weather turned for the worse. His arm was around my shoulders, shielding me from the cold, rubbing now and again when I shivered too much for his liking.

I could see the glances exchanged between the Gryffindor’s and Slytherin’s at the two of us together—and me in his robe no doubt, but I was too keen on listening to Hagrid and trying to get something (anything) useful from it.

Getting nothing from Hagrid’s lesson, my mind drifted to the upcoming exams on Friday and I zoned out, trying to figure out the best study plan on the subjects that I was struggling with, moving Herbology to the top of the list since I had missed today’s lesson’s notes and had to do double tonight. No doubt Potions should be high on the list, next to the dates and people of History of Magic, but I had that subject understood pretty well—save the dates.

“Maybe he isn’t too bad,” Harry muttered as we entered the Gryffindor common room. 

“It was nice of him to give you his robe wasn’t it,” Hermione sighed dreamily.

My cheeks flushed again as I stayed quiet.

The week passed and I honestly don’t remember most of it. It was hell: studying, working on essays, the weather not letting up. I was shivering more than not, and it was hard to concentrate. It left me in the warmth of my room, dreading to go anywhere in the drafty castle other than class and some meals.

The letter came Thursday evening as I was once again reading through the Goblin Revolutions trying to keep the dates straight. I had most of them down but kept mixing up a few of them and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get them straight.

Giving up, I closed the books and ordered my notes before slipping on a sweater and changing my socks before slipping down to the common room where Draco was waiting.

“You need to eat,” He scolded, handing me his scarf, knowing that I’d be cold.

“I’m fine,” I mumbled, wrapping it around my neck, reveling in its warmth and how it smelled strongly of him.

“No, you’re not. Now stop being stubborn. You can’t study all the time. You need breaks Y/n,” He sounded truly concerned, his fingers weaving through mine.

“I can’t fail these tests Draco,” I insisted, feeling warm with the seconds that passed. 

“And you’re not going to. But you have to take care of yourself too.”

I huffed as we entered the Great Hall. It was lulled and almost silent, many students studying or overworked from the exams already taken.

“Hey Malfoy!”

I stiffened as I recognized the voice. It was Pansy.

We both turned, his grip on my hand tightened and I wasn’t sure if it was in reassurance or if he was holding me back. It could have been both.

“Still hanging with her I see,” Pansy sneered. “I don’t see why you bother. We all know how this is going to end. You’ll realize she’s not worth it and this madness will end.”

“I thought I told you to leave her alone,” Draco hissed.

“What? She can’t take a little teasing? Isn’t that what the two of you always did? She didn’t mind it then...” Pansy grinned wickedly. “Why should she care if I do it?

“Because you don’t hold a candle to who Draco is,” I snapped.

“Oh, and you’re so confident that you know who he is?” She laughed something that sounded like a hyena. “You don’t know anything about him princess. Your mommy hid you away from the real world for too long.”

“She took me away from freaks like you. I guess she didn’t want me to grow up to be a bitch,” I sneered, and Draco chuckled beside me, tugging on my hand.

“Let’s go,” He murmured.

My eyes met his and I could see the same fire behind them. He wanted to lash out as much as I did, but something stopped him, and I wasn’t sure what it was...

I took a deep cleansing breath and nodded. She wasn’t worth the time to ruin my night with Draco.

We took our seats at the Gryffindor table, far from Pansy and her posse and had a quiet dinner for once. We only exchanged a few words, talking about our two exams tomorrow. My thoughts resided with what Pansy had said.

After dinner, Draco led me once more to the Astronomy Tower where we watched the stars side by side. I was in his robe again, shielded against the chill that the night brought.

“You know she’s wrong,” Draco piped up. “I’m not going to leave you.”

My eyes didn’t leave the vastness of the sky. Sometimes it was nice to imagine words like that were real, and promises could be kept...

“Y/n,” He pressed.

“What if she’s right?” I mumbled. “I... I didn’t grow up like you did... I don’t know you that well, other than...” I shrugged and gestured vaguely.

“What do you want to know?” He pulled me closer and spun me so that we were face to face.

“I don’t know.” I sighed. “What does it mean to know a person?” My hands wrapped themselves around my midriff.

Draco rolled his eyes and tilted my chin up with his hand. My eyes met his.

“My birthday is June 5th,” He smiled, his face pensive. “I never really had a favorite color... my middle name is Lucius,”

I giggled into the back of my hand, giving into his attempt to cheer me up. 

“What, is that funny?” He raised an eyebrow.

“A little bit.” I admitted. “It must be a pure-blood thing. My middle name is a family name too.”

“Oh? Would you care to tell me?”

“Nope,”

“And why not?” He almost pouted. “Am I not allowed to know?” He shifted so that I was pressed against the window ledge and he was a few inches before me, his hands on my waist.

“I mean, sure,” I drawled.

“Well?” He asked, drawing closer to me so that I could feel the warmth of his breath fan across my face; electricity flowed between us again, the same nervous potential energy.

“It’s not Magdalene is it?” He asked, his lips brushing against mine.

It was a good thing that I was leaning against the window ledge, because I was all but putty in his hands.

“No,” I breathed out, my hands running up his arms as my fingers laced themselves together behind his neck.

“Won’t you tell me?” Another soft fleeting kiss. 

I shook my head, my voice gone with his kiss. 

“Please?”

His lips captured mine before I could answer. The kiss lingered and grew to something stronger. One of his hands left my waist and caressed my cheek before sliding into my hair, cradling my head. My hand followed suit, running into his hair, pulling him closer.

A gentle gasp had his hot breath mixing with mine because he used his hand that resided on my waist to pull me flush against him before lifting me so that I was propped up on the ledge. His hand moved to support my back, but I wasn’t afraid to fall with him near. And despite the chill of the air, cold was the last thing that I was in that moment.

As the kiss deepened, I made a soft sound, my hand trailing down his shoulder and chest. He hummed a response, pulling away softly.

“This is coercion,” I murmured into his lips. He was so close; it was hard to find a place in my mind where he didn’t exist.

“Is it?” He mused, pressing his lips back to mine, picking up where we left off.

“Yes,” I breathed out, cupping his face, my thumb stroking his cheek softly.

“Is it working then?” He chuckled.

I pressed my lips back to his, kissing he deeply for a moment more before totally giving up and giving into him.

“Elizabeth,” I whispered.

you looked at yourself in the mirror. you had put on your favorite floral dress that ended mid-thigh and a pair of white shoes. you decided to keep the accessories and makeup to a minimum. excitement surged through you but that didn’t mean that nervousness didn’t follow. you admitted to yourself that you liked rudy and the fact that he asked you on a date signified that he liked you too. so why were you so nervous? you always felt authentic and playful around him but now that things were starting to move, you didn’t want to mess it up. 

you checked your phone and and grabbed your purse from the couch in your apartment. rudy refused to tell you where he was taking you out. no matter how much you begged he wanted it to be a surprise. as you heard a knock at your door, your heart felt like it flew out of your chest and you ran a little too quick to answer it. after taking a deep breath, you opened the door and were faced with madison and madelyn. your shoulders dropped in disappointment but also relief.

“you ready?” madison asked, the grin on her face ceasing to even drop the slightest inch. you smiled back at her shared excitement and nodded, letting out a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding in. 

“he should be here any minute now. i’m a little annoyed he hasn’t told me where he’s bringing me though. like, what if i’m too underdressed? what if i’m overdressed?” you rambled out, your palms becoming sweatier by the second as you wiped them on the sides of your dress. madelyn placed her hands on your shoulders and looked you in the eyes to calm you down.

“you are not going to be overdressed or underdressed whatsoever, trust me.” madelyn spoke calmly and you nodded slowly.

“how do you know?” you inquired, checking your phones’ clock one more time. the more minutes that passed by the more your emotions felt amplified to.

“(y/n), calm down! he told us where he’s taking you and it’s perfect. you’re going to love it. i wouldn’t lie to you.” madison reassured from beside madelyn. you nodded and gave them a small smile. you heard a faint knock at your door and whipped your head around to it before turning back to the two castmates in front of you with wide eyes accompanied by an even wider smile. madison and madelyn ran to hide from the view of the door as you opened it. 

there rudy was. he had on nicely fitting khaki pants, a white tshirt and a jean jacket over top of it. sunglasses rested ontop of his styled messy hair and a bouquet of roses and sunflowers. you smiled brightly at him before starting, “you clean up nicely.”

“i could say the same for you. you look great.” rudy responded, slightly breathless. you felt your face get warm and you glanced at the flowers in front of you.

“those are beautiful, rudy.” you stated, and even though you knew those were for you, you didn’t want to plainly rip it out of his hands. rudy returned the smile and handed them to you which you gladly took.

“you couldn’t believe the old lady that yelled at me when i was picking them from her garden.” rudy responded, throwing his hands up in the air to dramatize his story. your jaw dropped but a smile tugged at the corner of your lips.

“you stole this from a sweet old lady?” you asked, slightly chuckling. you weren’t sure if you should feel flattered or not.

“(y/n/n), i’m joking. i got it from the florist on the corner.” rudy answered, chuckling at how gullible you are. you felt your shoulder relax and a chuckle escape from your lips. 

“let me go get these into some water and than we’ll head out?” you reply, waving in reference to the flowers and turning back around. you completely had forgotten that madelyn and madison were there so when they were cowered in your kitchen out of sight from the door you jumped up in fright with a little yelp escaping your lips.

“you all right in there?” rudy asked, concerningly. he walked through the threshold and put it together when he saw the two girls there with sheepish smiles on their faces.

“they were here for support, pre-pick up.” you replied, as sheepishly as them. rudy laughed and rolled his eyes.

“don’t worry. i had a whole pep talk with drew and jonathan to make sure i wore the right socks.” he answered, easing your nerves. “off we go.” he stated and held his elbow out for you to latch your arm around.

“you gave away my reservation?” rudy asked the hostess. he ran his hands stressfully threw his hair, careful not to raise his voice because it most likely wasn’t the individual hostess’ fault but his plans were going down the drain.

“i’m sorry, sir. we became backed up tonight and the manager said all reservations after 7 would be cancelled so it became a first come first serve.” she responded, giving a pitiful look but acting professional. you looped your hand around rudy’s elbow and tugged on him slightly to let him know you were there. 

“we can grab food somewhere else if you’d like? i really don’t mind at all. as long as i’m with you, i’m happy.” you reassured him in a softer tone. rudy looked into your eyes and you could tell he was stressed that this wasn’t going as he planned but appreciated what you had said.

“if you guys want to wait, it’ll be about an hour and a half.” the hostess brought up. rudy shook his head and gave her a smile.

“no thank you.” and with that you both turned around and walked out the door. 

you two decided that you would walk down the street and if there was something that really striked you guys, you could consider it. however, being as it was a saturday night in charleston, it was going to be difficult to find somewhere that wasn’t a long wait.

“so, as of right now the shortest wait we have is forty-five minutes, after walking around for an hour.” rudy stated, rubbing his hands over his face. he felt sincerely bad that this was how it was turning out. you felt bad that he felt stressed because like you said earlier, you just wanted to be with him. 

“theres usually a couple of food trucks by the water, if we wanna check those out?” you suggested, rubbing your thumb back and forth onto his hand. rudy looked over at you and smiled again. 

“i’m down for that.” he responded. you let your hand drop to your side as you were ready to make your way down to the pier. you were thankful that you wore comfortable shoes rather than annoying sandals or heels. you soon felt rudy’s hand brush against yours a couple of times until his pinky latched onto yours. you decided it was your next move and interlocked your fingers with his, letting your hands rock back and forth.

“hey man, can we get two tacos please?” rudy asked the man in the food truck. it wasn’t a long wait until you got your tacos. after tipping the truck and getting napkins, you two found a bench to sit and relax for once. you took the hot sauce packet and opened it, letting the little tray with the taco sit in your lap. what happened next literally seemed out of a fucking movie. 

a seagull swooped in and nipped at the taco, allowing it to fall to the ground as more and more birds swarmed. you instinctively ran away, yelling and laughing at how funny this must look. rudy swatted his free hand at the birds but realized that would really do nothing. he walked over to you breathlessly and ran a hand through his blond hair while the other held his unharmed taco.

“we can just share this one?” rudy asked, his nose slightly scrunched and a couple chuckles escaping his lips here and there. you nodded laughing, tugging at the root of your hair. this would happen tonight, out of all nights. 

rudy decided it was best to maybe stay walking, instead of being a sitting target for another swarm of birds. additionally, you were glad to get this chance to really get to know rudy without some waiter coming to interrupt every so often or even a bird. there was a nice breeze running through the two of you side by side and from the looks of it, the sun would set in about an hour or so, letting the sky look as if it were golden. or so you thought.

it felt like in a matter of minutes that the sky above the two of you quickly turned dark and grey and the wind became stronger.

“it’s gonna rain, isn’t it?” you asked, nodding in acceptance and with a chuckle. 

���y’know, one of us should’ve checked the weather app before we planned to be outside.” rudy stated, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hands and giving a small smile in response to you.

“‘one of us’? you planned the date. that’s all on you, mister.” you responded jokinly in hopes of calming his nerves as you could tell he was just getting more and more stressed by the second. it was only seconds after, that it started to downpour. you felt your skin get wet instantly, and droplets were falling from your hair. 

“here, take this.” rudy didn’t even hesitate to take off his jean jacket and hold it over your head as you two instinctively ran to the closest place to take cover. you could feel your socks get wet as you ran threw quickly formed puddles to sit in a gazebo, close to the water. 

yet again, you both stood undercover, breathlessly. you and rudy both started wringing out your clothes from the amount of water it had accumulated. but, you couldn’t help but stare at his torso that was becoming more and more visible as his tshirt was still damp and sticking to his skin. 

“eyes up here, sweetheart.” rudy joked, pointing his two fingers to his eyeballs. you rolled your eyes and giggled, wiping the droplets of water off of your exposed skin. you let out one last breath, and looked up at him with a goofy grin on your face.

“this first date was, uh......something.” you said, playfully. he made eye contact with you and the two of you bursted out laughing. 

“i cannot believe all of this happened in the matter of, what? two hours?” rudy responded, shaking his hair of water and walking towards you slowly. 

you took another step closer to him until there wasn’t much space between the two of you. “i guess we’ll just have to make up for in on the next date.” you responded, flirtatiously. something clicked in your brain real quick and you were suprised you said that. that was pretty ballsy. 

“oohh, i have the honor for a second date with the (y/n) (y/l/n)? wasn’t sure i would make it past this one.” rudy responded chuckling and interlocking both of his hands with yours. 

“what, you don’t think tonight ran smoothly and according to plan?” you answered sarcastically, tilting your head to the right.

“you just think you are hilarious, don’t you?” he said, glancing down to your lips. keeping your hands interlocked, you leaned in to give him a kiss. you liked the way his damp lips felt and how passionate it felt. as you two pulled away simultaneously, you had to slightly bite your lip to keep the goofy grin from appearing onto your face.

rudy clearly did not have the same thought process and the giddy grin on his face made you giggle and throw your head back. “you’re adorable.” you complimented.

“look who’s talking.” he responded. you glanced to the side of you and saw that the rain had halted and skipped to the outside of it, seeing the sun come back out. you held your hand out and turned back towards rudy still standing in the gazebo, admiring you from afar.

“i want ice cream.” you stated, holding your hand out for him to take. he gladly took it and you guys made another journey to find the next place to eat. as you two walked towards the direction of your apartment building, you two walked side by side, glaldy eating your own separate ice creams. you made sure because he paid for tacos, that you had the ice creams covered. he insisted that he at least pay for half of the ice creams though, considering you never even got to eat your taco. 

“i hope you enojyed tonight. i know it didn’t really go according to plan but i’m glad with was with you.” rudy said, throwing his dirty napkin in a trash can you two passed as you guys kept walking the emptying streets of charleston.

“well i think it went great.” you said, taking a lick of your ice cream.

“oh did you?” rudy inquired, with raised eyebrows. this was a relief for him because he felt stressed out almost the entire time that everything wrong seemed to be happening.

“i mean, yeah. you never really remember when things go perfectly, do you? the tacos, seagulls, the cancelled reservation, and rain just spiced up the night a little more.” you answered, glancing into his eyes with a smile on your face. he shoved his hands into his pockets with a shit-eating grin on his face, nodding slowly as he looked at the ground.

“i’m glad.” he simply said. you smiled, feeling your face grow hot and looked forward again, gladly eating your ice cream. however, you could feel rudy’s eyes staring at you as you were still wearing his denim jacket to keep yourself warm. 

“sooo, about that second date?” rudy brought up, grabbing your free hands, interlocking your fingers and letting your two arms sway dramatically between the two of you playfully.

I look outside the window of the vacant cafe sipping my boba. Winter has arrived and everyone could tell. It was very cloudy and looked like it was about to rain. I sigh and rest my head on my hand. There was a lot of depressed and ill people outside. It's probably because of the weather. This is pure torture. Jimin wished in the wishing well that winter would come too. Damn you Jimin. I love you to death but damn you.... Of course this love was like a friendship love. While I was looking out I see her again, Jeon So-Mi . The girl who stole my only love, Hobi. We wasn’t together yet. No not at all... But I was backstage once awaiting for him to get done with his concert. With flowers in my hand. Jeon So-Mi was also there. " This place used to be one of the most favored places in Korea but now it's a big empty slop.Why do you even come here? " He asked me again. I look at her and put my empty hand on my hip " because this place has the best damn boba I've ever tried! " I say shaking my hip and snapping my hands. He laughed at me and then sighed getting his trench coat and hat off the rack. I look at her and wonder where he was going. He was the only one here. The only worker that is. Well his father owns the shop.. He just help outs. His father in probably at his house sobbing. " Hey... " I say to him, She looks at me. " I don't want to be a bummer or anything but nothing lasts forever... " I say. He then busts up laughing for some reason. Was I funny?

" Uhhh.... Are you okay? " I ask smiling at him weirdly.

" Very very bad! " He teases then I laugh. She buttons the last few buttons left on her black trench coat.

" Where are you going? " I ask.

" Sure, Do whatever you want except trash the place! " He laughs. I giggle and nod. I was serious about the apron tho. " Bye! Don't forget to lock up and have a nice night! " He waves. I wave my mouth was full with boba. He laughs and walks out. Now i'm all alone. Just the refrigerator with me. A date with the refrigerator. Oh this will be fun heheheheheh.... As soon as i'm done with my boba I threw it away. A couple minutes passed and I go ahead and prepare up some steak and salad and just for good “measure” a piece of carrot cake. While I was in the kitchen with my chef hat and apron on I hum ( A childhood remedy ) that I love. Then I hear some sounds. It was coming closer. Talking and laughing. Did the He come back! No these were two voices... Male... Female.... The heck? Maybe there just passing by.

 I laugh to my self and shake my head of my nervousness but then... I hear the door open. SHIT! I can't hide! Wait can I? No I can't! This place needs some money badly! I cry mentally pouting my bottom lip. " Hello? is anyone there? " A cute female voice says. I sigh and put down the black spatula and rush to the front desk. " Hello~! Nice to meet you- " I seen that it was them. Hobi and Jeon. Gosh this is my own little living hell. " Oh what's up Jeon! " I say to her smiling. She smiles back. “ Hi! “ Hobi smiles at me and fixes his hair. I try not to stare as much. I blush “ Erm! What would you like today? “ I asked trying to change the subject. Hobi then spoke “ I didn’t know you work here? “ Jeon nodded and held on to his arm. “ I’m just watching over the place. Namjoon had to go take care of his girlfriend. “ Hobi then laughed then Jeon. Was I funny or awkward? they were giving me mixed signals “ What? “ I asked. Hobi spoke again looking into my eyes “ Namjoon doesn’t have a girlfriend! “ Jeon decided to finish his sentence “ Yeah! He was probably just tricking you! “ I look at them blankly for a couple seconds then turned my head back “ That son of a bitch... “ I darkly mumbled. I appreciate that he let me raid his refrigerator but still! Hobi laughed and Jeon was silent.

 Jeon looked at the menu and raised an eyebrow “ Theres not that much of a selection here... “ She mumbled. Hobi flicked her shoulder “ Be nice. “ He whispered. Jeon sighed as she continued to look through the menu. I could see why Namjoon doesn’t like this girl. Hobi spoke taking the menu away from his girlfriend “ We’ll just have the steak and salad. “ Jeon added “ And some carrot cake. “ She reached in her purse. “ Here " She says handing me the money. She left a little extra. Why?, She was probably giving me the money because Hobi always looses his. " Er. Thanks I only need this much though. " I say taking half the money. " No, no, I want to give you a little tip too... I know your all depressed in this place! So please I wan't you to cheer up your day buying new things. " HOW. DARE. SHE. I laugh at her. " Oh no, please take your money. I have money of my own. This place is like a home to me so i'm not depressed at all. I say sliding her money back to her " Are you sure? " She asked me raising her eyebrow " Positive. " I smile. 

They go sit down. I finish what used to be my stake on the steaming pan. I get the salad and chop it up into tiny pieces then I put some tomatoes in it, onions,peanuts,cranberries, and this cafes secret ranch dressing. " Alrighty! " I say finishing up the salad. Soon I get the carrot cake out of the refrigerator and slice it. Suga used to come here for his carrot cake but no he betrayed us for some other place. It's fine though. He's funny and confusing sometimes I can relate a bit. Finally I put the steak on the plate and the salad. Getting another small plate I put the carrot cake on there. " There we are! " I say putting there dinner on the big tray. I look at myself in the mirror to see if I look at least half way decent for me serving the food to them. I look alright. 

I go out the kitchen carrying the the food. "Order up~! " I sung. Jeon put her two hands together with her eyes sparkingly wide looking at the food Hobi looks at the food admiring the smell of it. Jokes of them it's just heated up food... But since I felt artsy I put my spice on it. I serve the food to them " Oh thank you so much! " Jeon smiles. " Yep... anytime....anytime. " I say. Hobi nods as he looks at the food with delight. He then looks at me giving me a smile " Wow!, Your super talented! " He winks at me. I blush a bit and smile "Well I learn from the best! " I say. Hobi then shakes his head and laughs " I only taught you how to make sausages! " He laughs. He taught me when our group was camping. Him and I woke up early and decided to make breakfast for everyone. It turned out horrid but the sausages was amazing

" Those were the best damn sausages I ever had. " I laugh. I then turn the tray to my stomach and bow a bit " Well i'll leave you two at it! " I smile. Hobi smiles and waves " Thanks again! " He says

" Anytime! If you need me just come in the kitchen. I'll be on the computer. " I say." Alright " They say. As I left them alone on there date I got the computer out and wen't to (manga network ) and I read some romantic manga... “Kiss the girl already Shin!” I mumbled. I hear Hobi and Jeon whispering to eachother. I wanted to ease drop so freaking bad but I knew it wasn’t right so I didn’t. After a couple minutes Jeon calls me. I got up " Yes? " I say. " Is this food alright? " Hobi then looks at her annoyed " Jeon! " He whispers.

  " What? " She whispers back to him.

I come out of the kitchen " Did you ask me if the food was alright? " I smile. I must've misheard her. " Yep. " She says. " It's shaking. " She pointed at the steak. Ace already finished his. He then looked at me " Excuse her... I don't know whats gotten into her. " Hobi apologized eyeing her. Everything Hobi. Everything has gotten into her. I sigh at Jeon. " Yes Jeon. The food is okay. " I say. She tilts her head at me giving me a muddled look " Ya sure? It doesn't look like it " She laughs. Her attitude was as if she was jealous for some reason. My lips form into a slight smile " Do you want me to make you something else. " I got a bit irritated. Jeon shakes her head quickly side to side 

" No thank you! " She says. Hobi sighs

"  Your food was amazing okay. " He says to me. No, I don't wan't people to try to make me feel better when I'm not even hurt.

" Oh no don't worry Hobi. Some people have there opinions... "

Jeon spoke " Yeah... That's probably why this place is as empty as ever. "  She smirks looking around. " You should probably get an actual job that pays you money so maybe you could at least get a decent boyfriend this time. One that won't break up with you " Jeon laughs and smiles at me.

" Yeah It's probably different with you since you lure all kinds of guys in your room everyday. " I smile at her. It was true too. I seen her cheat on Hobi more than once. " She spat at me getting me even more angry. " Your just jealous because no one really likes the worthless you. " She says. I laugh getting a little twitch of vexation. " Yeah... That's what all whores say. " I mumble the last part. Hobi laughs at my comment. Why would he do that? Isn't he on her side? Alice then stands up and throws her carrot cake piece at me. " Awwww! I was going to eat thaaaaaatttt! " Hobi whines.

I stood there in shock. Then the rage set in. I turn back to her smiling. Jeon yells again " I want my money back! And you call this cake?! " There happens to be a full cup of boba on the table next to me. How did that get there? Maybe the gods want me to throw this at her. Hm. Fine with me. I slowly take off the cap. " Sorry beloved slut but... NO REFUNDS! " I throw the boba at her getting some on her face and staining her expensive winter outfit. She got very very mad. " Hobi! See what she did! Tell on her to her manager! You can do that right?! She doesn’t deserve to be in the kpop world! " She whines. I sing and dance. I’m just a unnoticed rapper. Well... I am a little noticed by my rap in hookga but besides that. Wiping off her face.  " Oh boo hoo! " I say wiping off the carrot cake a little. Hobi laughs nervously and looks at me." Yeah I can't do that.... " He says.

" WHY! " She says. " Because.... I-...... hahahahahaha! Wow what a fight! " He stops his sentence. What?.... What was that. I felt this sign of anxiety in my heart and my heart beats getting faster. " Well. People always tell on each other everyday in ibighit right! Besides.... " She then picks up a plate. Hobi and I look at her blankly "We're all made here. " Her eyes looked as if they turned darker less than two seconds she got the plate and threw it towards me. The plate acting as if it was a Frisbee. I got the big tray and blocked the plate. The plate fell on the ground making a big mess. She tried to kill me?! Aishh! I thought sh wanted to just tell on me! I don't want to hurt her. I can't kill her, I don't want to get a bad name for killing the most beloved girl. When the plate his me a sharp part of it cut my shoulder a bit making me bleed. " JEON! " Hobi yells.... .Jeon was mad and we could all tell.  " First of all... That was the most cringest pickup line I ever heard in my life. Second.... Catch. " I then did the exact same but with a tray. The tray was faster. Jeon got punched in the stomach. She fell down and held her stomach. " I HATE YOU! " She yells at me. I sigh she was making a big deal out of this. She hit me first... Maybe it was a little rude of me to his her with a tray but I cant stand there and do noting. She picked up a glass shard and before I can react she threw it at my feet. Ripping the skin so some blood could be set free. The pain set in soon. " Ah! " I panic feeling my ripped skin. Hobi then gets up."  JEON. LETS GO. " He says getting her up. She nods and leaves with Hobi.

" Damn. "  I say. Look at his mess.... I go to the kitchen and get a paper towel to wash up a bit. I wet in and put it on my scar. Then I look in the emergency cabinet get the alcohol. Before I do so I close the blinds. I don't think people want to see me heal myself on the cafe counter... I hear the door open as I was opening the cap to the cure. It was Hobi. " Are you here to yell at me? " I say looking at him and raining my eye brow. He laughs " No! Why would I do that! "He says. I look at him then my cut started to sting. I shake a bit. " Here allow me. " He says. I nod. He comes over and puts his warm hand over my leg " Alright. " He gets the cotton balls and puts some alcohol on it. I close my eyes awaiting for more pain. He chuckles at me " Hey.. thanks for confirming that Jeon dates other men to me. " He says.I tilt my head “ Confirming? “He then taps gently on my cut to see if it still stings. I shake a little but then it calmed down. “ I knew in some sense she was dating other guys by the way she looks at them... “ He doesn’t seem sad.

In order to secure more materials for the growing Clockwork nation, Lock re-recaptures the iron mine and source wells. Lock as Agony spends more time serving the Clockworks than they do him. He builds the walls of a fortress, having never thought he'd build so much as an ex archineer. While the main clockwork force recognizes him as Lord Agony the more powerful ones don't. Mute and the War Machine both have loyal armies.

Kenan manages to convince Jacob to fight Lock. Take responsibility for your actions, traitor.

Lock and his clockwork army are driven out of Antonia and flee into the frozen mountains. they lose more in the narrow mountain passes, and locks small remaining force defends itself, lock working busiliy to repair the old fortifications. it's a last resort, but his only option is to wait and try to regain strength in the inhospitible climate. Wholly unprepared, Lock freezes his ass off.

Gentz hears from Kingdom Force that Lock went rogue- defected, to the side of the clockworks. He'd run away up into the mountains somewhere, and kenan was sending his forces to capture him. Later Gentz learns what Lock is really like from the veteran knight Vikent, who fought by his side while defendign the nomads. Lock's location is unknown but Gentz goes out hoping to find him. By chance he meets a Clockwork with cautious amber eyes, whom Gentz asks to deliver some furs to Lock. Lock and Emi receive a bundle of furs with ponchos they can wear and bedrolls. Wow its from Gentz *tear* also bluebit is there?

the kingdom's forces are stalled indefinitely by bad weather. The clockworks gather source and regrow. --

There’s room for improvement at GA airports

I don’t like to pen anything negative, but I believe that there is room for improvement in the way that our General Aviation community conducts business. As most avid readers/aviators know, there are great things about GA that are first worth mentioning. We are blessed with a plethora of good airports with good runways, weather advisories, good lighting, and friendly operators. We have an awesome air traffic control system with professional controllers that help to make our journeys safe and enjoyable. We have great on-board electronics that show us the way, provide real-time weather updates, find the best winds aloft, lowest fuel costs, and identify the position of other aircraft. We have a friendly and helpful aviation community of very experienced and trustworthy operators. It is what keeps us in the air and coming back for more!

However, there is room for improvement. Let me start with the “simple” process of getting avgas. The larger airports have the hard-to-read, difficult-to-use credit card machines installed. We have all struggled with these during a bright, sunny day, right? They work but not well. Even these hard-to-read, difficult-to-use credit card machines are out of the reach of most small airports. I have been told it costs more than $40,000 to install!

Let me share my two most recent experiences; the first was at a municipal airport in Indiana that had one of the hard-to-read, difficult-to-use systems installed. Due to issues with the machine, it was necessary to pay inside with my credit card and then use the airport credit card to work the system! Not too bad if you can find someone at the airport to gain access to the “master” credit card on a weekend. My last experience was at a small airport where an old ammo box had been installed next to the fuel tanks with a note that said “Honor System—No Cash/Checks only.”

Certainly in the age of Square and other simple credit reading devices, there must be a low cost way for even the smallest operators to set up a fuel pump that anyone could use without having to use the airport credit card or leaving your check in an ammo box!

Let’s move to another gas, AIR! Why is there not an air compressor near the fuel tanks? Is there concern that there may be a spark generated? Maybe, but it doesn’t need to be that close, just close enough to make it convenient. It seems like it should be fairly simple to pump up your tires when you need it. This air station might also include the right nozzle to allow you to fill an airplane (relatively) easily even with wheel pants installed. Self-serve is fine with me. I do it all the time with my car. I’ll even pay for it and maybe this could help offset some of my other GA grumbles below. I don’t have a lot of money, but I have even less time! Why should a tire with low air pressure ever take more than five minutes to remedy?

Why don’t airport businesses like flight training and maintenance shops work better together? Several airports have more than one business that conduct operations next to each other but never, ever work together. Why is this? Most are very busy but not willing to work together with other businesses at the same airport for a win-win. I understand competition but wouldn’t it make sense to the customer (you and me) to share the limited parts inventory that each has, share instructors, share expertise, hangar space, special tools and other (sometimes) underutilized resources from time to time? By working together more, we would see shorter turn-around for maintenance work, more access to instructors, aircraft and flight training, overall better performance by sharing knowledge and expertise and maybe lower cost. Why can’t GA businesses all work together to better serve their customers?

Is this really putting our best fit forward?

My last gripe and then I will get off my soap box. Have you ever thought about what a 17-25 year old thinks when he/she goes to take an introductory flight at a facility that was built during World War II? The airplane outside may be newer, but they are going to be turned off the minute they enter the building (trust me on this as my 22-year old son told me so). Future aviators grew up with phones, tablets, computers, and yes, video games. Most kids have got to be let down with they see the condition of a large majority of our GA facilities. It is time for a facelift! We need new facilities with the latest audio-visual technologies for these students, not a cold trailer with an overhead projector. Local, state and federal governments could and should be part of these improvements and they should invest in the future fleet of pilots, mechanics and other aviation related professions.

What can we do to help? We need to be the catalyst for change. While we individually may have learned how to get by with what we need to operate our own aircraft, there is much to be gained if we work as an aviation community. We all have similar needs and while we do all work together to help each other, there is more that we can do. We need to talk to our government officials and airport business owners to request their help.

There is a great and growing story right now driven by the global need for more pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers and other aviation occupations. We need to help tell this story. We should not wait for AOPA or others to lead the way; we must lead. Our regional and smaller airports are seeing increased growth. Let’s help meet that growth head-on with the right facilities and first class service!

We are all seeing a resurgence of GA activity. We are in a growth mode and we have all seen it improve over the past several years. GA is growing once again and I don’t see it slowing down. Get involved and push others to help us now and more importantly, the next round of aviation enthusiasts. There is room for improvement. Time to strike while the iron is hot!

I was stopped at a red light behind two cars. Both cars started to go and so did I the next thing I knew I had hit the car in front of me. The car in front of me hit the car in front of him.
