the most brilliant thing ive started doing is making premade cookie dough, sectioned out into preformed cookies, and keeping them in the freezer.

since we gots a toaster oven, and cookies bake well from frozen, it's been super convenient if i have the patience to pop a small batch in when i'm craving something sweet. also, this way, we have a small amount without the temptation of a whole two dozen to gorge on, since we're trying to be more mindful of how much we eat.
