i’ve been trying to do this for like ten minutes, but anyone capable of singing whilst playing an instrument coherently is a witch
#…..writing songs is dumb#idk why i’m trying lol#idek how to actually play the bass yet. why am i like ‘oh. i can do my own shit now. it’ll be great’#and then i have a rudimentary bassline going and it’s time to try to figure out how the lyrics fit and#bam. the singing part of my brain is shut off#i could probably in theory record the bass part and try to suss out the rest of the stuff over the recording but#that requires effort i don’t want to put in#that might legitimize this quarter-assed endeavor#i shant legitimize it#to the void with love
