Autistic!reader. I tried my best to make this as realistic as possible. Hopefully it came out okay.
It was supposed to be a good day. A nice, relaxed afternoon with Beth and her friends; Leah, Kyra, Alessia, and Katie. Beth had convinced you it would be fun, saying they all liked you and wanted to get to know you better. You had been hesitant at first, the idea of socializing with a group of people you weren’t entirely comfortable with making your stomach twist in unease. But Beth’s insistence, paired with her reassuring smile, had eventually won you over.
It had started off well enough. You had sat next to Beth on the couch, her hand resting lightly on your thigh as the others chatted animatedly around you. Occasionally, they’d turn their attention to you, asking questions about your interests. At first, you answered earnestly, your voice soft but steady. Alessia asked about your favorite book, and you’d immediately launched into an enthusiastic explanation about the most recent book you’d read that had become your favourite.
After that, the questions kept coming, and you kept answering. And it was okay, at first. Until you started noticing a pattern. A pattern that made your stomach twist further. Every time you finished talking, both Leah and Katie, laughed.
At first, you thought they were laughing because they found your answers amusing or endearing. Beth always said your enthusiasm was one of her favorite things about you. But as the conversation continued, the laughter didn’t feel warm anymore. It felt pointed. Katie and Leah especially seemed to find every answer you gave funny, even when you weren’t trying to be.
Your confusion began to morph into something heavier; something cold and sharp that settled in your chest. You were used to people misunderstanding you or finding your honesty a little jarring. It wasn’t new. But this felt different. You weren’t sure why at first, but then it hit you: they weren’t laughing with you. They were laughing at you.
You felt the humiliation rise in your throat like bile. You weren’t stupid. Naïve, maybe. Socially awkward, definitely. But you weren’t stupid. And yet, the way they looked at you, the way they giggled and shared glances after every response you gave, made you feel small.
Beth hadn’t noticed. She was too busy chatting with Kyra about something else. You glanced at her, silently willing her to look your way and see the discomfort etched across your face. But she didn’t.
“I’m just going to the bathroom,” you murmured, standing abruptly.
No one seemed to notice except Beth, who glanced at you with a small smile. “You okay, love?”
You nodded quickly, not trusting your voice, and hurried down the hallway. Once you reached the bathroom, you shut the door behind you and leaned heavily against it for a second before beginning to pace.
The humiliation was suffocating now, and you couldn’t stop the way your hands flapped slightly at your sides as you tried to calm the storm brewing inside you. Your chest ached with frustration and hurt, and you felt tears prick at the corners of your eyes.
Beth had said they liked you. She’d promised they liked you. But clearly, that wasn’t true.
There was a soft knock at the door a few minutes later, and you froze.
“Love? It’s me.” Beth’s voice was gentle, but you didn’t respond. You didn’t trust yourself to speak.
The door creaked open slowly, and Beth stepped inside, her eyes immediately landing on you. Her expression shifted to one of concern as she took you in.
“Oh, babe,” she said softly, stepping closer.
You wanted to push her away, to tell her to leave you alone. You were mad at her. She’d lied to you. But when she wrapped her arms around you, the familiar pressure was grounding, and you couldn’t stop yourself from leaning into her.
Beth leaned back against the sink, letting your weight rest against her as she held you tightly. One of her hands stroked your back in slow, soothing circles, while the other rested on the back of your head, cradling you gently.
“What happened?” she asked after a while, her voice low and careful. “Talk to me.”
For a moment, you didn’t say anything, focusing instead on grazing your fingers over the soft skin of her back. The repetitive motion calmed you, anchoring you as you tried to sort through your thoughts.
“They laughed at me,” you said finally, your voice barely above a whisper.
Beth’s hand stilled against your back. “What?”
“Your friends.” You pulled back just enough to look at her, though your gaze didn’t meet hers. It hovered somewhere over her shoulder instead. “They were laughing at me. They think I’m stupid.”
Beth frowned, her eyes searching your face. “Why would you think that?”
“Because it’s true,” you said bluntly. “They laughed after every answer I gave. Even when I wasn’t trying to be funny.”
Beth’s arms tightened around you, her expression shifting to one of anger; not at you, but at the situation. “They don’t think you’re stupid,” she said firmly. “I promise you that.”
You shook your head, your hands still grazing over her skin. “You lied to me. You said they liked me.”
“They do like you,” Beth insisted.
“They don’t,” you replied, your voice breaking slightly. “If they did, they wouldn’t have laughed at me.”
Beth sighed, her forehead resting against yours as she tried to figure out what to say. “They’re just…they don’t know you like I do,” she said after a moment. “Sometimes people laugh because they don’t know how else to react. It doesn’t mean they think you’re stupid.”
You didn’t respond, your fingers continuing their gentle exploration of her back.
“I’m so sorry, love,” Beth whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I should’ve noticed. I should’ve said something.”
You shrugged slightly, still not meeting her gaze. “It’s fine.”
“It’s not fine,” she said, her voice firm but still gentle. “You shouldn’t have to feel like that. Not ever.”
You didn’t know what to say to that, so you stayed quiet. Beth’s hand moved to cup your cheek, tilting your head up slightly so you had no choice but to look at her.
“I love you,” she said, her blue eyes earnest. “And I think you’re brilliant. If they can’t see that, that’s their problem, not yours.”
Her words made your chest ache in a different way, and you felt your lip wobble slightly as you fought back tears. “I’m mad at you,” you said, your voice small.
Beth nodded. “I know.
“You lied to me.”
“I know,” she repeated. “And I’m sorry.”
You studied her for a moment, searching her face for any sign of insincerity. But there was nothing there.
“I just…I wanted you to feel comfortable,” Beth continued. “I didn’t think…I didn’t think they’d act like that.”
You nodded slowly, your fingers trailing up to her shoulder. “It’s okay. But I don’t think I want to hang out with them again.”
“Okay,” Beth said without hesitation. “You don’t have to.”
The weight in your chest eased slightly at her words, and you let out a small sigh as your lips quirked up into a tentative smile. “Thank you.”
Beth smiled softly, her thumb brushing over your cheek. “Anything for you, love.” Even though you were still a little mad at her, you couldn’t help but lean in and brush your lips against her own. Beth’s smile widened just slightly as she cupped your jaw to lightly coax you forward into a proper kiss. Your eyes fluttered closed at the sensation, your fingers toying with the baby hairs at the nape of her neck.
After a few quiet moments, you leaned back into her embrace, letting her warmth and steady presence soothe the lingering hurt. You pressed a kiss to her neck, feeling the way she squeezed you tightly in response.
After a while, she pulled back, pressing a playful kiss to your nose. You couldn’t help but smile in response, and Beth retuned it as she lead you back through to the bedroom with the promise she’d be back in just a few minutes, and you nod, curling up on her side of the bed with your book, just as you always did.
You trusted Beth to handle it. If there was one thing you knew about her, it was that she never let anyone disrespect you. But even that thought wasn’t enough to soothe the turmoil in your mind completely. But I would ease. It always did.
In the living room, Beth stood in front of her friends, her arms crossed over her chest, her lips pressed into a tight line. Alessia and Kyra sat quietly on the couch, their expressions uneasy, while Katie and Leah leaned back in their seats, clearly not expecting what was coming.
“I hope you’re happy with yourselves,” Beth began, her accent more pronounced in her frustration. “Do you have any idea how upset you made her?”
Leah tilted her head, a half-smile playing on her lips. “Come on, Beth. We were just joking around. It’s not that deep.”
Beth’s eyes narrowed. “Not that deep? Leah, she left the room practically in tears because of the way you two were laughing at her. How is that not deep?”
Katie leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. “We weren’t being mean. She’s just-well, she’s a bit literal, isn’t she? It’s not like we said anythin’ bad.”
“That’s not the point!” Beth snapped, her voice rising. “She’s literal because she’s autistic. Did either of you even stop to think about that? Or did you just decide to laugh at her for being different?”
The room went silent. Leah blinked, the words hitting her like a sudden gust of wind. Katie opened her mouth to respond but closed it again, for once unsure of what to say.
Kyra shifted uncomfortably, her gaze flicking between Beth and the others. “Beth, we didn’t mean to upset her. Alessia and I didn’t even say anything…”
“But you didn’t stop them, did you?” Beth shot back, her glare moving to Kyra and Alessia. “You sat there and let it happen. You know what those two are like. You could have said something, but you didn’t.”
Alessia’s cheeks flushed with guilt, and Kyra nodded solemnly, their silence a quiet admission of responsibility.
Beth turned her focus back to Katie and Leah, her voice colder now. “Because of the two of you, she doesn’t want to see any of you again. Do you realize how much that hurts her? How much that hurts me?”
Katie frowned, her arms crossing defensively. “She’s being a bit dramatic, don’t you think? It was just banter, Beth. She’ll get over it.”
Beth’s hand slammed against the back of a chair, startling all of them. “Don’t you dare call her dramatic,” she seethed. “Do you even hear yourselves? She’s not dramatic. She processes things differently. She doesn’t understand your so-called banter the way you think she does. And instead of making her feel included, you made her feel like a joke.”
Leah leaned forward, her voice softer now. “We didn’t know…about her being autistic. You’ve never mentioned it before.”
“I shouldn’t have to mention it!” Beth exclaimed, her voice breaking slightly. “You should treat her with respect regardless. But now that you do know, you better think long and hard about how you’re going to make this right.”
The weight of Beth’s words settled heavily in the room. Leah ran a hand through her hair, looking genuinely remorseful, while Katie’s defensive posture began to soften.
Beth took a deep breath, her shoulders dropping slightly. “I love you guys, but I also love her,” she said quietly but firmly. “And I will not tolerate anyone making her feel less than. If you can’t understand that, then you’re not welcome in our lives.”
The room remained silent as Beth turned on her heel and left, not sparing them another glance.

could you maybe write something about bf quinn comforting reader after she has a nightmare🥺 i had a horrible nightmare last night im still shaken up about it, but while trying to calm down i thought of this haha
You wake with a sharp inhale, the kind that feels like it might rattle your ribs, the dream still clinging to you in pieces — flashes of something dark, something that lingers in your chest, heavy and twisting. The room is quiet, save for the steady hum of the fan and the soft rustle of the sheets as you shift, body tense, pulse thrumming too fast beneath your skin.
You don’t realise you’ve woken Quinn until you feel his hand, warm and steady, sliding over your waist, a soft "hey," mumbled into the pillow, thick with sleep. He’s reaching for you before his brain is even fully awake, like it’s instinct, like some part of him just knows when you need him. So when you don’t respond right away, he blinks himself into consciousness, propping himself on one elbow.
He shifts closer, his hand finding the small of your back, like he’s feeling for the tension there, like he’s trying to smooth it away without even thinking.
“You okay?” His voice is low, rough, slurred around the edges, like he hasn’t quite made the full climb into wakefulness.
You nod, but it’s half-hearted, and he can tell. His touch lingers, more present now, his fingers tracing soft, mindless shapes against your skin, his warmth easing into you even as the last remnants of the nightmare keep you on edge. He knows you need something steady to focus on.
“Bad dream?”
Another nod. Quinn hums, lips barely brushing your shoulder before he exhales a slow, sleepy sigh, his breath warm and steady against your skin.
“I got you,” he murmurs, voice thick with drowsiness, warm and reassuring.
He shifts just enough to lift his head, his nose grazing along your jaw in a soft, absentminded motion, like he’s feeling for you. Then, still half-lost in sleep, he presses a lingering kiss to your forehead, his lips warm, his breath slow and steady against your skin as it lingers there for a beat, like he’s making sure you feel it.
“You’re okay,” he murmurs against your skin. “Just a dream.”
The words settle something in you, the residual panic ebbing away as he shifts, tugging the blanket higher over both of you, making sure you’re warm, making sure you feel safe. He doesn’t make a big deal out of it, doesn’t push you to talk, just keeps you close, lets his body sink into yours, warm and familiar. One of his hands finds yours beneath the covers, lacing your fingers together, the steady press of his palm tethering you to reality.
For a moment, it’s just quiet — his thumb smoothing over your knuckles, his breathing even and steady, his body heat warming the places where the cold had crept in.
After a beat, he murmurs, “you want me to put something on? A movie or something?”
You shake your head, squeezing his hand. “Just stay.”
His lips curve into a small smile against your hair, the warmth of it brushing over your skin. His chin stays resting on top of your head, his arms tightening slightly around you because the thought of leaving hadn’t even occurred to him.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he murmurs, voice low and certain. “Just go back to sleep, baby. I got you.”
His body moulds against yours, heavy with sleep but there, solid and stead. His fingers still tracing slow, absentminded shapes into your skin, like he doesn’t even realise he’s doing it, and his breathing evens out, slow and steady against your hair, and little by little, your own breath starts to match his, the last lingering shreds of the nightmare fading into the quiet warmth of him.
Eventually, your eyelids grow heavy again, your body relaxing into his.
Safe. Warm. Home.
#he’s so sleepy he barely knows what he’s saying but he means every word#would fight off your nightmares if he could but for now just holds you a lil tighter <3#capquinn's writing#capquinn’s requests#quinn hughes x reader#quinn hughes#bf!quinn

Hey! I’ve been reading your Walker works and I need more from you lovely!
Would it be alright if I asked for a Walker x Reader where they do an interview together and he keeps being so obvious about his feelings for her? And like after the interview goes live, a bunch of fans make ship edits, and basically they’re just never beating the dating allegations?
If not it’s quite alright!! Just keep up the amazing work lovely!!
Not So Subtle
You weren’t nervous, not exactly. It was just a press interview, something you’d done countless times before. Still, being paired with Walker for this particular one had your pulse doing somersaults. Not because of the cameras or the audience, but because Walker couldn’t help himself when it came to you.
As the two of you settled into the studio chairs, the host greeted the audience with her signature enthusiasm, introducing you both and hyping up the upcoming season of the Percy Jackson show.
“So,” the host began, her grin playful, “you two have been spending a lot of time together on set. How’s that been?”
Walker immediately leaned forward, his elbow resting casually on his knee. “It’s been amazing,” he said, glancing at you out of the corner of his eye. “I mean, how could it not be? She’s kind of the best.”
Your face heated up, and you laughed nervously, trying to brush it off. “We have a great cast dynamic,” you said, keeping your tone light.
The host raised an eyebrow, clearly catching the subtle tension. “I see,” she said, drawing out the words. “And Walker, I have to ask—there’s a lot of buzz about how much you hype her up in interviews. Care to explain?”
Walker grinned, completely unbothered. “What can I say? She’s insanely talented. And hilarious. And, you know, just… easy to be around.”
You shot him a look, but he just shrugged, his grin turning slightly mischievous.
The host smirked, clearly loving every second of it. “Interesting. And what about you?” she asked, turning to you. “What’s it like working with Walker?”
“Oh, he’s great,” you said, doing your best to stay professional. “Super dedicated, really supportive. Definitely keeps things fun on set.”
“Fun how?” the host pressed, her tone teasing.
Walker jumped in before you could answer. “She’s laughing at me half the time,” he said, his tone playful. “I’m basically just a walking joke to her.”
“That’s not true!” you protested, laughing despite yourself.
“Oh, so you don’t think I’m funny?” he teased, leaning a little closer.
“I think you’re plenty funny,” you said, rolling your eyes.
The host looked between the two of you, her smile widening. “Okay, okay. I think I’m starting to see why fans love you two so much. The chemistry is very real.”
You both froze for half a second before laughing it off, though you could feel your cheeks heating up.
The rest of the interview passed in a blur, with Walker continuing to find small ways to tease you, compliment you, and generally make it impossible for you to escape the growing attention. By the time it ended, you were both smiling, though for very different reasons.
When the interview went live, it didn’t take long for the internet to explode. Within hours, TikTok was flooded with clips of the two of you, complete with dramatic zoom-ins, captions like "Walker is DOWN BAD," and edits set to romantic songs.
One particular video caught your attention: a slowed-down clip of Walker staring at you while you spoke, set to the lyrics of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The caption read, “The way he looks at her 😭 they’re not beating the dating allegations fr.”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “This is bad.”
Walker, who was sitting across from you in the trailer, leaned over to peek at your phone. When he saw the video, he just laughed.
“I mean,” he said, grinning, “it’s not that bad.”
You shot him a look. “Walker, they think we’re dating.”
He shrugged, utterly unfazed. “So?”
“So?” you repeated, incredulous. “You don’t care?”
“Not really,” he said, his tone casual. Then, after a beat, he added, “Unless… you do?”
Your breath hitched, and you looked away, suddenly very interested in the floor. “I just don’t want things to get weird.”
Walker tilted his head, his grin softening into something gentler. “It wouldn’t be weird. At least, not for me.”
You looked up, meeting his gaze. There was something in his eyes—something warm and steady and entirely too honest.
“Walker,” you began, but he cut you off with a small smile.
“Hey, relax,” he said, leaning back in his chair. “We don’t have to figure it out right now. But just so you know…” His smile turned playful again. “I’m not in a hurry to beat those allegations.”
Your cheeks burned, and you groaned again, but this time, there was a smile tugging at your lips.
Because maybe, just maybe, you weren’t in a hurry either.

could I put in a request for Lucy MacLean x Wasteland!reader? you both find shelter and you usually take first watch because you’re used to staying up late. Except Lucy has a habit of making your job harder than it has to be because she just starts yapping and won’t go to sleep right away. Take yesterday night for example, you underestimated her ability to run out of things to talk to you about and you lost about 2-3 hours of sleep because of it. Tonight, Lucy’s about 15 minutes into her yap session when you randomly ask her if she wants to have sex, she’s delighted at the idea and agrees. You wanna tire this woman out, what’s a more efficient method than giving her a few orgasms? (maybe even include this being Lucy’s first time being eaten out?)
── GUILTY PLEASURE
— summary: lucy won’t stop talking.
— warnings: kind of inexperienced!lucy. fem!reader. nsfw content. mdni. this took me a month to edit but here we are.
the shelter you’d stumbled upon earlier isn’t much. it’s hardly anything at all: half a roof, crumbling walls, and a faint musty smell.
still, it seemed better than sleeping under the open sky where god knows what could catch you off guard. so, you decide to settle yourself near the door, leaning against the wall with your weapon in easy reach. first watch, as always.
and, as always, lucy is making it harder than it needs to be.
she’s sprawled on her bedroll a few feet away, her head propped on her pack like a makeshift pillow. the dim glow of the dying embers between you throws flickering shadows across her face, as she talks.
“-and, i mean, who even puts that much trust in a filtration system, you know?” she says, her tone exasperated. “it’s like, sure, the overseers say it’ll last forever, but what happens when the pipes get clogged? no backup system, no-“
you pinch the bridge of your nose, cutting her off before she can spiral any further into whatever story she’s telling you from her life in vault 33. “lucy-“
“what?”
“i thought we agreed you’d try to sleep during my watch!”
“we did,” she says, shifting to rest on her elbows now . never a good sign. “but you’re awake anyway, so it’s not like i’m interrupting anything. besides, you’re terrible at keeping yourself entertained. i’m doing you a favor!”
you give her a flat look. “i don’t need ‘to be entertained’. i need quiet!”
lucy scoffs. “quiet seems overrated. besides, what if something sneaks up on you? you’ll want me awake to watch your back.”
“that’s literally my job right now,” you deadpan, gesturing toward what once was a door.
“okay, fair,” she says with a shrug. “but what if you fall asleep? then we’re both screwed!”
you let your head fall back against the wall with a soft thud, staring at the cracked ceiling. “lucy, if i fall asleep, it’ll be because you spent all night talking about pipes and filtration systems instead of letting me do my job and i’ve bored myself to death!”
“i’m just saying, vault-tec could’ve planned better” lucy goes on after a short pause, like you’ve never asked her to stop at all. “like, one person on maintenance for an entire level? no wonder the water tasted weird that day!”
this has been your dynamic ever since you met her: lucy talking your ear off, filling the silence with anything and everything that comes to her mind.
“do you ever stop?” you ask, arching an eyebrow at her.
“not really,” lucy says, grinning. “another thing,” she leans forward slightly. “i get why you’re all about this ‘quiet’ thing, but maybe you’d actually enjoy these little watch shifts if you talked more. or, you know, let me help you stay awake!”
you scoff. “help me stay awake?”
“yeah,” she says. “like conversations, or games, or- i don’t know, literally anything but sitting there staring into the darkness like some broody protagonist in a bad holotape!”
“you’re unbelievable.” you laugh, despite yourself.
she beams, triumphant, and leans back again, her hands clasped behind her head. “you’re welcome.”
the wasteland beyond the door feels vast and empty, the moonlight barely illuminating the cracked ground and jagged ruins. you focus on the shadows, your grip tightening slightly on your rifle. lucy’s voice continues behind you, her words blending into the ambient hum of the night.
another ten minutes of this pass, your patience wearing thinner with every syllable; your initial plan to just wait for her to get sleepy doesn’t seem to be working.
“if i had been in charge of the vault party planning committee, there’s no way they would’ve run out that fast” she’s currently recalling. “it’s simple logistics. one crate for every-“
“lucy,” you interject, your voice flat.
“what?”
“are you ever going to go to sleep?”
“eventually,” she says with a shrug. “it’s not like i’m bothering you, right?”
you sigh, defeated. “you are absolutely bothering me,”
she ignores that completely, her tone turning thoughtful. “it’s kinda nice, though, isn’t it? i talk, you listen, we bond. i mean, sure, you don’t say much, but that’s probably because you’re so fascinated by what i have to say-“
“lucy…”
“-which i get! not everyone grew up in a vault, so my perspective is pretty-“
“lucy!”
she finally pauses. “yes?”
you turn fully, leaning your shoulder against the wall as you cross your arms. “do you want to have sex?”
the words hang in the air for a beat, and for once, lucy falls completely silent. you watch as her face cycles through surprise, confusion, and delight in rapid succession.
“wait, what?” she asks, already sitting up. “do i- are you serious?”
you shrug, trying to look nonchalant despite the heat creeping up your neck. “you’re not gonna sleep, and you’re definitely not gonna let me do my thing. i figure if i wear you out, i might actually get some peace and quiet tonight,”
lucy blinks at you, and then, once you’re fairly sure she will turn the insane offer down, she grins.
you‘ve thought about it before. not about sex, necessarily, but tamer things: you found yourself staring at lucy in the rare moments when she wasn’t chatting away, eyes studying her features whenever she hadn’t been looking your way. you thought about kissing her, too, about her body against yours and-
well, perhaps you had thought about sex with her.
you never figured out what vault dwellers like her learned about sex down there. only that, presumably, she does seem to know what you’re on about, judging by her enthusiasm.
“this is the best thing you’ve suggested so far,” she says, already tossing aside her blanket and crossing the small room to stand beside you.
lucy lingers above you for a moment, her eyes scanning over you as if weighing her next move. she takes her time. when she finally lowers herself into your lap, it’s with purpose, every movement measured. her weight presses into your thighs, grounding you in place, while her palms rest on your shoulders. lucy’s thumbs gently trace circles on your skin through your clothes as her eyes search yours.
to your surprise, you are the first to falter under her gaze, something lucy so clearly relishes. a satisfied glint flickers in her eyes just before her hands glide up, fingers curling around your jaw as she cups your face. without warning, she tilts your head back, guiding your gaze to hers again, brushing absently over the corner of your lips.
“don’t look away now,” she murmurs, a teasing rasp, her breath ghosting over your skin.
her thumb and forefinger catch your chin, holding it firmly as she hovers there, close, her lips parting ever so slightly as if to speak.
just when you think you can’t stand it any longer, lucy finally leans in.
her lips meet yours, soft at first, almost tentative, like she's waiting for some kind of reaction. she grazes the sides of your face, memorizing the feel of you beneath her touch. the kiss deepens quickly, the tension from earlier bleeding away into something much softer, more urgent.
her confidence only falters when she first tries to grind down against your pelvis, searching for a friction you cannot provide. you’re not sure what she had expected, or if she’s moving on instinct, but this is when it seems to sink in that lucy is in no position to fully take the lead here.
“are you a virgin?” you blurt at her puzzled expression.
“no!” lucy says, shaking her head. “no, it’s not- i got married remember…?” she grimaces, recalling the events that had followed her rather short lived ‘marriage’ in vault 33.
“okay, so…” you start. “what’s going on here, then?”
“i-” her gaze flicks between you and some point over your shoulder. her cheeks flush. “i just- well, you know, it’s not that different, right?”
“lucy…” your voice softens, even as you fight back a laugh. “do you actually know what you’re doing?”
“yes!” she says immediately, too quickly. then she hesitates. “well…sort of?”
you give her a look, and her face crumples into a sheepish grimace.“okay, fine, no,” lucy admits, throwing her hands up in defeat. “but i wasn’t going to say that out loud! i thought i could just…figure it out as we went.”
you sigh, though there’s no real annoyance in it. “you’ve been with someone before. why didn’t you-”
“because it’s different!” she interrupts, her voice rising again. “i mean, for one thing, he wasn’t…” she waves her hand vaguely in your direction, her words trailing off like she’s afraid to finish the thought.
“a woman?” you supply.
“yes, exactly,” lucy nods. then, as if to clarify: “not that that’s bad! it’s just- i don’t really know what i’m supposed to- how i’m supposed to…” her voice fades again, and she presses her lips together, clearly frustrated with herself.
“lucy,” you say gently, drawing her attention back to you. “it’s not something you’re supposed to just know. especially if…” you pause, hesitant to touch on something that might sting. “especially if it wasn’t…encouraged where you grew up,”
she frowns, her brows pulling together. “yeah, well, vault 33 wasn’t exactly a…bastion of sexual enlightenment! marriage, reproduction, carrying on the bloodline…i suppose it was always about the next generation, never about- this!”
lucy sighs.
“and, look,” her words come in a rush now, like she’s determined to explain everything before you can judge her. “it’s not like i have a problem with it! i mean, clearly, i don’t, because we’re, uh, doing…whatever this is. i just…i guess i thought it’d be easier to figure out!”
you reach up to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. all your previous annoyance has melted away, replaced by a need to show her that this -sex- could be about so much more than just reproduction. “you don’t have to figure it out all at once, you know. we’ve got time!”
lucy’s gaze meets yours, hesitant but hopeful. “we do?”
“yeah,” you say softly, your fingers lingering against her cheek. “you don’t have to take the lead here, either. just…trust me, okay?”
“okay,” she says quietly. “okay, i trust you,”
“good,” you lean up, brushing your lips against hers, slow and careful. her shoulders relax immediately, and when she kisses you back, it’s sweeter than before: less frantic, more curious, like she’s letting herself feel everything for the first time.
you kiss her slowly at first, moving your lips in sync with lucy’s. she’s following your lead now, letting you set the pace of your mouths. she still seems as eager though, and when she starts moving her hips again, you’re prepared:
instead of your pelvis, you maneuver her so that she’s grinding on your thigh, finally giving her access to the friction she’d been searching for.
“o-oh-“ lucy mewls softly, her head lulling back as she ruts against you for a little while. you can feel the warmth radiating from between her legs already, damp through the fabric of her suit.
taking it off will be a risk, of course: stripping naked would make a quick escape damn near impossible. but you decide that, as you feel her arousal drag over your leg, lucy maclean is worth every risky decision that might come with it.
so, as she moves against you, as high-pitched moans start spilling from her throat, you reach for the zipper of the blue suit. it parts smoothly, the soft scraping of the interlocking metal echoing in the otherwise quiet space.
you look up at lucy, only vaguely aware of the white bralette that comes into view now that you’re unzipping her clothes.
you don’t want to make her uncomfortable by blatantly staring but the skin that’s revealed to you makes it impossibly hard. so, instead, you choose another way to show off your appreciation: without tearing your eyes from hers, you lean in and press your mouth to the flesh between her collarbones, then move lower.
lucy gasps, her lips parted and her brows slightly furrowed. it’s her who peels the sleeves of her jumpsuit from her arms, who lets it pool by her hips and reaches for you all over again. who urges you closer by the back of your head with one hand, while the other grabs the hem of her underwear.
“wow,” you gasp, dumbfounded when lucy -your lucy- tugs the bra upwards enough to free her bare chest from the restrictive fabric. she smiles, shyly, and tilts her head.
her nails sink into your shoulder the second your mouth closes around her nipple; she’s responsive there, more than you ever were, more than you thought she’d be. so responsive that lucy starts moving her hips more frantic when you roll her other nipple between your index and thumb.
and still…”more,” she whines softly, greedily, dragging her soaked center across your flexed muscle. “i want you to touch me,” she breathes. “please”
you trail slow, open mouthed kisses down her torso, your hands gliding over the curve of her back. you press lower, as far as you can reach, until your neck twists at an almost painful angle and lucy's hand finds the back of your head, cradling it gently.
that’s when you shift, moving her body so she’s leaning against the wall and you’re positioned between her spread legs.
lucy watches you through curious eyes, studying your every move as you get to kiss down her body more comfortably. you hold the eye contact, despite the need to stare at her chest (her nipples still hard and wet with your spit) until you have to pull the zipper lower and peel the fabric from her legs.
you slide it off and tuck it beneath her, allowing lucy to rest on it rather than the dirty floor, leaving her in a pair of panties matching the white bralette.
lucy’s body shudders as you kiss back up the expanse of her legs, the muscles in her thighs tensing. obviously, you don’t stop there: you crawl up further and further until you’re almost at the apex, reaching for the waistline of the underwear and-
her legs clamp together suddenly, forcing you back.
“what-“ lucy stammers, unsure. “what are you doing?”
“i was gonna-“ you lick your lips, dropping your hands to her hips. of course lucy has no idea what you were going to do. “can i-“ you consider your words, unsure how to explain it so she’ll understand. “-put my mouth there?”
lucy’s eyes widen. “you want to-”
“please,” you whisper. “please, can i eat you out?”
lucy -her own want betraying her- whines, her hips jerking towards your mouth. from here, between her legs, you can see the wet patch of arousal that has soaked through her underwear.
“okay,” she pants, nodding frantically. “okay, yes. please!”
immediately, you reach out, hook your fingers underneath them and pull the panties down her thighs. you take your time making sure to securely place them in one of the suit’s pockets so they won’t get dirty, before finally turning your gaze back to lucy, who’s waiting in anticipation.
she lets you take in the sight with a nervous look on her face, biting the side of her index.
your fingertips absentmindedly trace the skin, watching the way lucy’s body parts for you. she is beautiful, endlessly beautiful, glistening with arousal, and framed by coarse hair.
“i’m sorry, i should’ve-“ she begins, but you immediately hush her.
“you’re beautiful,”
lucy inhales breathlessly, her fingers forming a v-shape and spreading herself open for you to see.
“fuck-“ you mutter under your breath. lucy’s clit is throbbing.
slowly, you make your way up her thigh. in response, lucy buries her fingers in your hair, sighs softly as she invites you in, and spreads her legs wider.
you nudge her skin with your nose, nipping on the tender flesh.
the first time you put your mouth on lucy, her legs close around your head. her jaw goes slack and her brows furrow in concentration, adjusting to the new sensation.
you start with featherlight kisses to her swollen clit, each making her buck her hips against your face.
“o-oh!” lucy stammers from above, looking almost confused, surprised by how good your lips feel as they brush over her. “that feels so good,” she breathes finally, her body rolling down against your tongue.
“yeah?” you murmur, soothingly wrapping your arms around her thighs to hold her open as you circle her clit with the tip of your tongue.
“mhm,” lucy nods, but it comes out more like a whine at a particular good press of your lips. just as lucy buries her fingers in your hair, seemingly wanting to push you closer, you push her apart and lick a broad stroke right through her, getting your first actual taste.
instinctively, your eyes roll back, the lewd moan that rips from your throat drowned out by her skin.
“g-god-“ she stutters. “that’s- ah- good.”
unbeknownst to lucy, the sweet praise goes straight to your center. if you had a pillow, or anything useful around, you’d shove it between your legs and grind on it while you eat her out.
but, regardless of your own lack of relief, her words encourage you to lick deeper, to move faster inside of her and show her all that she’s been missing out on. you alternate between fucking your tongue into her, and wrapping your lips around her clit to suck on it, all while lucy pulls your closer, guiding your tongue to where she needs it the most.
you gladly let her, ignoring the occasional sting of your scalp at sharper tugs.
for a while, you eat lucy out like that, getting lost in each of her desperate attempts to stifle her sighs and her taste in your mouth. her words have morphed into muffled babbles above you, incoherent sounds of pleasure.
it doesn’t take long at all until she is getting closer: her head has lulled back against her bag, her moans come out more ragged and breathless, and the leg she has thrown over your shoulder trembles with tension as she pushes her heel down on your spine to urge you closer.
instead of teasing lucy, you go right for it.
your lips close around her clit again, just as two of your fingers sink into her. squirming above you, lucy mindlessly grinds her hips to your face, aching for that release. she chants little ‘ah, ah, ah’ sounds, her cunt tightening around your fingers so much it’s hard for you to thrust them in and out of her.
both your nose and your chin are covered in lucy’s wetness, glistening in the dimly lit space as her hands curl to fists in your hair.
“i feel…” she begins, trailing off. you’re not sure she knows what she’s feeling. or maybe she’s in disbelief because you only have your hands and mouth to use on her and still it’s enough.
either way, you encourage her, putting your thumb in place of your lips, rubbing her clit with the wet pad of your finger to keep her on the edge. “that’s it,” you mumble.
lucy chokes on her noise of approval and just nods her head instead. “yes,” she whispers, over and over, like a prayer. “yes, yes, yes! i’m gonna-“
that’s all of a warning you get before her whole body tenses. her lips are parted in a silent scream, her hips jerk forward once more before it all comes crashing down on lucy. the sound she makes is somewhat between a cry and a moan of your name and she arches her back from the ground when she cums.
you manage to tear your gaze away from her convulsing cunt to catch a glimpse of her, so lost in the haze of her pleasure: lucy’s eyes are shut tightly, her head thrown back so much that the entire expanse of her neck is on display for you.
her walls tighten around your fingers, trying to suck you in deeper, to keep you in place while she trembles with the force of the orgasm she’s riding out on you.
only when her body has stopped shaking, you lean back, not wanting to push her too far. she’s already given you more than enough.
“phew,” lucy says once she’s caught her breath. it’s so ridiculously lucy you have to bite back a laugh. “is it- is it always like this?” she asks by the time you’ve crawled back up her body and slumped down by her side.
you reach for her, not even thinking about it properly until you’re already cradling her face, your thumb grazing over her jaw soothingly. lucy doesn’t seem to mind.
“no,” you manage quietly, taking in her features in the dark. “no, it’s never been like this.”
luct turns her head to look at you, her expression open. she’s still flushed, her hair mussed, her lips kiss-swollen, and she’s smiling.
“i liked it,” she says, voice hushed. then, as if realizing how simple that sounds, she rushes to clarify: “not just because of- well, you know…but because it was you!”
you swallow hard, caught off guard by the sincerity in her voice. “yeah?”
lucy nods, shifting so she’s curled against your side, her fingers idly tracing patterns against your arm. “yeah.” a beat passes, then: “i think i wanna do that again. like…a lot.”
you laugh outright at that, tilting your head to press a kiss to her temple. “you really are something else, maclean.”
she hums, pleased, before shifting closer, tucking herself against you like she belongs there. you don’t realize how quiet it’s gotten until lucy is fast asleep in your arms.

Teacher's Pet Baby
Cg!Professor!Wanda Maximoff x little!student!reader
Summary: You've pushed yourself a little too far when feeling sick at school and Wanda won't stand for it.
Word count: 1.5K
Warnings: Age regression, sick fic, mentions of medicine and having to take it, fluff and comfort
Authors notes: I'm sick, so here have a sick fic
Also, to all the littles, seeing this, please tred lightly on this blog! This is my big 18+ blog, but I do have some little!reader fics. Everything is marked accordingly!
You barely make it to your seat, sinking into the chair as quietly as possible while the chatter of your classmates fills the lecture hall. Their voices feel too loud, and the room feels impossibly warm despite the fever patch hidden beneath your beanie, and even though you took medicine earlier, it’s barely making a dent now.
Professor Maximoff notices immediately.
Her sharp green eyes sweep over the class as she prepares to start, but they linger on you just a moment longer than necessary. As the students settle down, she steps closer to your desk, lowering her voice so only you can hear.
"You're not feeling well," she states rather than asks.
You sit up straighter, forcing a smile. "I'm fine, Professor. Just tired. I took medicine, and I’ve got a fever patch under my beanie. It’s nothing, really."
Wanda’s lips press into a thin line, unconvinced, but she knows how stubborn you can be—especially when it comes to school.
Developmental Psychology is your last class of the day, and she understands how brutal the coursework is, not just from her own class but from the other professors as well.
After a pause, she sighs. "Alright," she concedes. "But if it gets worse, let me know."
You nod, relieved that she’s letting you stay. She gives you one last look before turning to begin the lecture.
Halfway through, however, Wanda’s concern grows.
You’re struggling to keep up, blinking slowly at the board, your posture slumping more and more as time drags on. Your face is becoming more flushed, your breathing shallow, and you’re practically nodding off in your seat.
That’s enough.
She sets down her marker and claps her hands once. "Alright, everyone, let's take a ten-minute break."
There’s a collective sigh of relief as students stretch, pull out their phones, or head for the door. As Wanda steps out of the room, your phone vibrates in your lap.
Mama 🧸: I'm going to come back into class in a rush, say something came up, and end for the evening. Meet me at my car, okay?
You stare at the message, eyes bleary, but manage to type a simple:
You: Okay.
A few minutes later, just as promised, Wanda rushes back in, looking convincingly flustered.
"Class, I’m so sorry—something urgent just came up. We’re ending for the evening. Check the portal for notes and assignments. I’ll see you all next time."
There’s a mix of murmurs—some students thrilled at the early dismissal, others confused—but they all start packing up. You move slower than usual, dizzier than before, but you make your way out the door.
The evening air is cool against your overheated skin as you spot Wanda waiting beside her car, her arms crossed, and an unreadable expression on her face.
"You’re too stubborn for your own good," she mutters as you approach. Before you can protest, she opens the passenger door. "Get in. I’m taking you home."
You don’t argue. You’re too exhausted, too.
And as soon as you’re settled in the seat, Wanda sighs again, softer this time. "Next time, just tell me when you’re sick, Malyshka. I’d rather help you than watch you push yourself like this."
You hum in response, eyelids already drooping.

The warmth surrounding you is comforting, familiar in a way that makes your mind slip before you even realize it’s happening. You blink groggily, feeling weightless, and it takes a moment for you to register why—strong arms are wrapped around you, holding you securely against a firm chest.
Your head lolls slightly, and a soft hum vibrates beneath your cheek. "There you are, my sleepy munchkin," Wanda murmurs. Her voice is low, soothing, the kind of tone she only ever uses when it’s just the two of you.
Your fingers twitch, instinctively seeking something to grasp, and without hesitation, she adjusts her hold so you can curl into her more. "Mama…" you whisper, the word slipping out before you can stop it.
She shushes you gently, pressing a kiss to your hair as she carries you to the front door of her house. "Shh, I’ve got you, sweetheart. Just rest."
You let out a soft whimper, your body too achy and feverish to fight the little space creeping in, especially with how safe she makes you feel. "Didn’ mean to be little," you mumble, barely able to keep your eyes open.
Wanda chuckles, shifting you slightly as she unlocks the door. "I know, baby. But you don’t have to be big with me right now. You’re sick, and Mama’s going to take care of you."
A tiny, tired pout forms on your lips. "Didn’t wanna be a ‘burrden…”
She tuts softly, carrying you straight to the couch and sitting down with you still cradled in her lap. "Never a burden, my love. You’re my Malyshka, no matter what."
The reassurance makes your chest ache in a way that has nothing to do with the fever. Your small hands clutch at her button up as you burrow into her warmth, feeling the gentle rise and fall of her breathing. "Love Mama…" you whisper, voice slurred with exhaustion.
The warmth of Wanda's embrace lulls you into a half-dazed state, but you're still aware enough to feel her shift beneath you. Her gentle touch never falters as she rubs your back, her voice soft as she murmurs, "Let's get you cleaned up and comfy, sweetheart. You’ll feel much better after a nice cool bath."
You whimper softly, curling tighter against her. "No wanna move…"
She chuckles, pressing a kiss to your temple. "I know, baby, but Mama will help. You don't have to do anything, just let me take care of you, okay?”
With slow, steady movements, she carries you into the bathroom, setting you down on the closed toilet lid as she kneels in front of you. Her fingers are delicate as she peels away your beanie, revealing the fever patch still clinging to your forehead. She hums in approval. "You did so good taking care of yourself today, my love. But now it’s my turn."
She helps you out of your clothes, guiding you carefully into the warm, soothing bath she’s already drawn. The heat immediately eases some of the aches in your body, and a sleepy sigh escapes you as she begins washing your hair, her fingers massaging your scalp in slow, comforting motions.
"Such a good little munchkin," she praises, tilting your head back just enough to rinse the suds away without getting any in your eyes. "Mama's so proud of you."
You hum at the words, your mind fully slipping into little space under her tender care. By the time she’s rinsing off the last of the bubbles, your limbs are loose and pliant, letting her wrap you in a soft towel and carry you back into the bedroom.
"Look what I got for you," she coos, holding up a pair of adorable Bluey pajamas. Your eyes light up at the sight, and she chuckles at your tiny, excited wiggle. "I knew you'd like these, baby.”
She dresses you with ease, guiding your little arms and legs through the soft fabric before pulling the sleeves down and smoothing them over your skin. Once you're dressed, she settles you onto the bed and disappears for a moment, only to return with a small plastic bottle in her hand.
Your nose scrunches up at the sight. "Noooooo," you whine, trying to turn your head away.
Wanda tuts, sitting beside you with a knowing smirk. "Oh, don't give me that look, munchkin. You need your medicine so you can feel all better."
You shake your head, pressing your lips together in a pout. "Tastes yucky.”
Her sea glass eyes soften, and she shifts closer, cupping your cheek as she gently strokes her thumb along your warm skin. "I know, munchkin, but Mama's got something to make it better."
With her free hand, she holds up a sippy cup, the one she always keeps just for you. Your favorite juice sloshes inside, the sight making your pout waver.
"Take your medicine for Mama, and you can have your sippy, okay?" she coaxes.
You hesitate, but when she brings the little plastic cup of grape-flavored liquid to your lips, you wrinkle your nose and take it anyway, swallowing quickly with a dramatic shudder.
"Bleh!”
Wanda chuckles, immediately pressing your sippy cup into your hands. "Such a brave baby," she praises, watching as you eagerly take a few gulps of the sweet juice to wash away the taste.
Once you’re settled, she reaches over to the nightstand, grabbing your favorite stuffie—your beloved, well-worn plush that she always makes sure is close by. "Here, my love," she murmurs, tucking it into your arms.
You cling to it, already feeling the weight of exhaustion pulling you back down. Wanda leans over, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before lying beside you, pulling you into her embrace. Her fingers stroke lazily up and down your back, her presence grounding and warm.
"Sleep, munchkin," she whispers, her voice the last thing you hear as your eyes flutter shut. "Mama’s right here.”
And with that, you let yourself drift off, safe and loved in her arms.

feels like home: sticky fingers
After a few weeks apart, Caleb reconnects with his Pip-squeak, only to find that she's pretty beaten up after a mission. Fortunately, Caleb knows exactly what to do to take care of his girl. From one moment to the next, everything changes, and what starts as an innocent interaction quickly evolves into something else entirely... two-shot, post club-interactions, but can be read as a standalone as well (though, this is part of my feels like home series).
Pairing: LaDS Caleb x MC (she/her)
Genre: Smut (with feelings); chapter one is M, chapter two is E; 18+
CW: Codependency; Pip-squeak as an endearment; MC is named "Emme" short for "Emme Sea" lmao; Finger Sucking; sensual massage; Vaginal Fingering; humping
Also on AO3
Complete: Chapter One; Chapter Two
feels like home series page
After that dizzying night at the club, things settle back into the same old, same old, mostly because work’s been insane for both of them. At least, that’s what Caleb’s telling himself.
Naturally, he can’t stop thinking, feeling, reeling over the memory of his sweet girl, his beloved Pip-squeak, coming apart in his arms. Along with that, the way she’d woken early the day after, slipped from bed and made him breakfast.
That was normally his role to fall back into, but it was a domestic kind of sublime to walk into her kitchen, and see her standing there, cooking bacon, while wearing one of his t-shirts—old, stretched out, and way, way too big for her.
Caleb couldn’t put his finger on why, but he liked the way she looked in his clothes. Felt a bit like she was wrapped up in him. The possessive pieces of his heart shifted upon seeing her there, ever so slightly falling into place as if a simple moment like that could make his fractured heart whole once more.
They didn’t talk about what happened, because, of course, they didn’t. But she was different. A little surer in her touch and teasing. Hands lingered as the food was shared between them. Her eyes fell on his lips, the line of his neck, the broad stretch of his chest, which was purposefully emphasized by the two-sizes-too-small tank top he was wearing.
He flexed some, and she noticed that too. What was the point of having a physique like his, if not to show it off to the one person he’d crafted it for? Judging from the way her chewing stopped and how her eyes lingered, his many, many hours spent working out weren’t going to waste.
“See something you like, Pip-squeak?” he teased, but his voice was raspier than he’d thought it would be. Catching her staring was painfully intoxicating.
“Hmm?” she replied while shaking her head a bit. “What did you say?”
Caleb huffed out a laugh. “Pass the syrup.”
Picking up the nearby vessel, Emme quietly cursed as some of the sticky liquid sloshed over the edge and onto her fingers. After setting the syrup down, she stood and started to turn toward the sink, but Caleb caught her up in his gravity before she could move away.
“C’mere,” he murmured.
Shifting on her feet, she cocked her head at him, and Caleb couldn’t help but notice the way her eyes fluttered, just a little, as he let his power roll over her before pulling back.
Caleb held his hand out for hers. “Let me see.”
She swallowed, looked at her sticky fingers, and immediately focused on his lips. Caleb’s mouth curved into a knowing smile, which earned him a pretty pout.
“You’re terrible,” she breathed but held her hand out, anyway.
“Oh, c’mon, Pip-squeak,” he murmured, his warm hand gently skimming along the length of her forearm before curling around her wrist. “I know you like it when I’m bad.”
Her lips parted with a soft sigh that sounded anything but perturbed, pink tongue flicking out to lick her lips as her actions betrayed her thoughts.
“What are you going to do…?”
“You don’t know?” he asked while leaning closer to her hand, slow enough that she could pull back if she wanted.
He needed to prove something to himself, needed to prove that it wasn’t just the alcohol or the strange anonymity of that seedy club. Caleb needed to know that she wanted him as badly as he wanted her.
He could see it now, in the way she stood there, legs spread just a touch too wide, as if she was imagining what it might be like to fall into his lap and straddle his waist. Or maybe it was in how her hips switched, swaying almost the same way they had while she’d ground herself into his thigh the night before.
No, it was definitely in how glassy her eyes looked and the pretty flush on her cheeks. There was no alcohol coloring this interaction. What other places on her body would flush, he wondered. The tips of her nipples? The soft skin at the juncture between her legs and thighs? What about her ass? As decadently formed as it was, would her ass look even better with a bite mark… or two?
Caleb could feel himself growing hard in his gray sweatpants but was marginally relieved that he wouldn’t need to reach down and adjust himself this time. No distractions. Just her eyes locked on his as he pulled her hand closer and closer.
She didn’t gasp when he sucked her fingers into his mouth—index and middle; warm, sticky, and sweet. No, what she did was much, much worse than that.
Watching for every single reaction, Caleb swirled his tongue before delivering a long, soft suck, and his girl took in a halting breath, fluttered her fingers in his mouth, and fucking whimpered his name.
“C-Caleb!”
Broken, halting, haunting. He wanted to hear her say it again. To hear her say it while he pressed into her from above, while his head disappeared between her thighs, while he did every single thing he’d ever dreamed about doing to her, but dared not do.
They were growing closer and closer to the day when they would dare, and he was doing his best to be patient. He’d draw out every moment so when that day did come, when she finally gave in to her desires and realized that everything she’d been wanting was right before her eyes, it would be after he so thoroughly seduced her that she’d never think of denying either of them.
Ever. Again.
Caleb wasn’t a patient man, but he could play pretend with the best of them. For her, he would make the planet collapse in on itself if she but asked. But all she needed right now was patience and time. As his tongue swirled and his mouth pulled, he lingered there, and let her think of all the other places on her body that would feel oh so good if he ever got his lips, teeth, and tongue on them.
And he would. But, for that moment, he let her go and was not so secretly smug about the sweetly blissed-out look on her face, and the way she stumble-sat into her chair before picking at her food again, desperate to look somewhere, anywhere but at the face of the man she knew the best, and needed the most.
Weeks flew by. She texted, same as always. She called, and he answered on the second ring, same as always. But where once Caleb could soothe himself with the knowledge that he’d be able to see her soon enough, now he is consumed with the memories of their interactions and, more to the point, her reactions.
The clothes she left at his place for use during her visits no longer smell like her, likely because he spends most nights with his face wrapped up in them. The only peaceful rest he’s able to get is when she’s near. When he knows she’s safe. Now, her shirt and shorts just smell like him, and as much as he enjoys leaving his scent all over her space, he wants the same for his home.
Logically, Caleb knows that Linkon is a safer place for her, for a multitude of reasons, but the greedy, dark spaces of his heart want to keep her high in the sky, in Skyhaven with him. He’s smart enough to know how to keep her safe at his apartment. God, he’s done it before. But as good as it makes him feel to know without a doubt that she is safe, he can’t stand the look in her eye at that particular betrayal.
Just one more sin for the consummate sinner. But with her, ahh… It feels like he can find absolution in her arms. No matter how dark he gets, his girl will always be there to pull him back into the light. She promised him, just as he’d promised to always be there with him.
Finally, when Caleb thinks he’s at his wits’ end, he gets a text from Emme asking if he wants to meet up at her place on the weekend. Naturally, he agrees. Even if he didn’t have the time off, he’d have figured something out. He’s so excited about it that he decides to surprise her the night before, which isn’t uncommon for him.
So, with snacks and an overnight bag in hand, he lets himself into her apartment and waits for her to get back home from work. From how she tells it, she’s been overtime on something important. Caleb did some digging and managed to find out it had something to do with Wanderers convening just outside of the city limits.
It’s miserable work, as important as it is, and he worries because that’s who he is. Caleb wouldn’t be Caleb if he wasn’t worrying about his Pip-squeak. He’s just wired that way. And this time, he’s right to be concerned because when she finally gets back to her apartment at just after 2 a.m., she stumbles in.
Of course, she’s not entirely surprised that he’s there—who else would be watching movies this late in her living room, who else would know the security code to her suite, and who else would show up unannounced, like him—but she looks put out, all the same.
He watches her for a moment longer as she pauses at the entrance to her home, leaning against the doorframe as she breathes deep, head hanging heavy, body drooping… He’s moving before she can fall, her body pitching forward into his strong body instead of the floor.
“Whoa, Pip-squeak! What’s wrong?”
She looks up at him, and the dark smudges under her eyes, along with the scrapes on her cheeks and neck tell him everything he needs to know.
“Caleb.” One word spoken, half annoyance, half supplication. It’s all he needs. A moment longer, and she’s swept up into his arms.
“Let’s get you washed, dried, and cared for,” he says, sounding more competent and put together than he feels. In truth, his heart is pounding in his chest, and it’s taking everything he has not to drive over to the Hunter’s Association and ream out whoever is responsible for putting her in the situation that got her in this state.
Not that he’d dare leave her now.
He carries her through the small space of her apartment and walks them both into the bathroom. Her bathroom is cramped on a good day, and with the two of them in there, it’s even worse. She bats at his hands and tries to tell him she can manage on her own.
“I’m not a child.”
“Of course you aren’t, but you’re still my girl. How could I live with myself if I left you alone now? What if you fell in the shower, or worse?”
She frowns, but some of the roughness of that expression is smoothed away as she thinks about it.
“You owe me, then.”
“Oh?”
“Next time you get sick. You call me. You let me in. No excuses.”
Caleb sighs. Of course, she’d bargain for something like that. It’s not in his nature to show weakness, least of all to her, but he’d promise just about anything and mean it to keep her happy.
“Deal. Now, strip.”
She blushes at that, only for her lips to frown again.
“What?”
As Caleb eases her from his arms, she’s unsteady on her feet. “I really… just don’t think I can.”
“Need some help?” he asks, trying to sound casual, but very much feeling like his heart is going to explode.
“Promise not to get mad?”
“No.”
“Caleb!” she exclaims while giving him a halfhearted shove. “There’s just a few scrapes. And I’m sure I’ll be bruised tomorrow. But it’s nothing major, okay?”
“Okay. But you’re going to let me treat your injuries.”
She pouts. “Fine, but it’s mostly just… really sore muscles. I think a Wanderer was trying to tear my spine out…”
He hates the sound of that but manages to transfer some of his anger to the fastenings of her clothes, quickly and efficiently stripping the layers of her outfit from her body until she’s standing there in nothing more than her underthings and the bracelet he gave her.
He loves that no matter where she goes, she’s got a piece of him with her, but he keeps that bit of information to himself. She already has his heart. Any more leverage and she’ll have him following her like a puppy… more than he already does, that is.
Caleb tries to be level-headed about this, but it’s a challenge given how very fuckin’ long he’s dreamed about seeing her like this, albeit in very different circumstances. Still, he loves her, loves her more than he longs for her, even, so he schools his features, wills his body to calm down, and has his Evol prop her up while guiding her roughed-up body into the shower.
And though it’s strange, and not entirely logical, Caleb swears he can feel her pressing back into his gravitational touch, leaning into his power as he works to support her and not lose his damn mind. Maybe it has something to do with her Resonance. God knows it wouldn’t be the first time that their shared connection bridged the gap between fantasy and reality.
Once the shower curtain is closed, his power slips away, leaving her to stand on her own two feet.
“You good?”
“I’ve got the wall,” she says with a sigh. “Can you help me after I’m done?”
“Of course.”
She manages to take off the rest of her clothes. They fall to the floor of her shower with a soft thump.
“Want me to grab ‘em?”
“Everything’s filthy,” she admits. “Guts and blood and gore. I think I’m gonna burn them.”
Caleb chuckles and shakes his head. He’ll get the gore out for her. He’s good at that. Listening attentively, he makes sure to check in with her as she bathes. Truthfully, she’s sounding better, at least, until a soft hiss sounds from behind the curtain.
“Everything alright, Pip-squeak?”
“Just a very, very sore muscle.”
The water stops, and she gingerly peeks her head out from behind the curtain. She’s adorably drenched, and every part of him is itching with the need to care for her. He’s pleased to note that most of the blood is washed away, and doesn’t seem to belong to her.
Guts and blood and gore, indeed.
“I got a towel ready,” he says, spreading it out and turning his head so she can step out of the shower without having to worry about him leering.
Caleb swears she snickers at him, but she ducks into his arms and lets him wrap her in the towel, just the same. She’s swallowed up by an excess of plush fabric, with only her feet and head peeking out from the edges.
It almost reminds him of when she was young, and how after playing with the sprinkler and tiring herself out in the summer sun, she’d complain about being cold, only for Caleb to wrap her up in a towel and help her dry off.
Well, he’s not that boy anymore, and she’s certainly not that girl, and what they are to each other is so much more than childhood friends.
Still, he tugs at the edge of the towel and lifts it so that he’s better covering her neck. “Can you turn around? I’ll dry your hair.”
“The blow dryer is—”
“Beneath the sink, I know.”
With everything ready, he first works at detangling her hair with her paddle brush. Her work’s made a mess of her hair, but he’s good at this—the best, actually. He has to be because the last thing he wants is to cause her any more pain.
After her hair is detangled and pulled back, he slowly runs the blow dryer over it while combing it on low heat. He’d hate to damage her hair. Once her hair is mostly dry, he quickly pulls it into a braid. Another thing that he’s quite good at.
“Hair ties?”
She holds up her wrist.
“Hair ties that haven’t gone through hell and back?” he clarifies while tugging the band from her wrist and throwing it in the trash.
“Medicine cabinet.”
He gets what he needs, ties off her hair, and picks her up again. This time, she squawks a little, but he gently rubs his lips against the top of her head and softly begs, “Please? Let me help.”
And mollified by his words or his actions, she settles and lets her head fall against his shoulder. It doesn’t take long to get to her bedroom, the door of which he gently nudges open with his power.
Caleb settles her on the bed and walks over to her dresser. “What d’ya wanna wear?”
“Mmm, I have some clothes ready in the top drawer.”
Pulling open the heavy wooden drawer, Caleb is surprised to recognize her clothes as his. “I was wearing this the last time I visited.”
“Yeah, your clothes are comfier than mine.”
“The shorts aren’t mine,” he points out.
“Your shorts would slide down my legs. The shirt is big, but it’s sooo nice to sleep in.”
As Caleb tugs the shirt and shorts closer, he can’t help but notice that it still smells faintly of his scent.
“Didn’t you wash this, Pip-squeak?” he drawls.
“Oh. No…” She sounds embarrassed, and he’s just about to tease her for always leaving her dirty laundry for him to do when she soundly sucker-punches him with what she says next. “It still smells like you… So… that’s why.”
That soft admission has the air retreating from his lungs in a wicked rush, words hitting with precision impact. Caleb doesn’t turn to face her. He can’t. His fist is tightly clenched around his shirt—the one that smells like him—his eyes are closed, and his breathing is so erratic that he needs to take a moment to calm himself.
Of course, he keeps her clothes at his bedside when she’s not in his home, but to hear she does the same—no, that she wears clothes that smell like him to bed—makes him feel fucking feral. He is not a good man. Far from it. He is who he needs to be so that he can keep her safe.
But when the reality of her words hits, it shifts his intentions for the evening entirely. He’d meant to put her to bed with a heating pad after checking for wounds, and then go to make her something to eat. Now she’d be lucky if he let her sleep at all.
“Where’s that massage oil that Tara got you?”
“How do you know about that?!” she balks.
“She was bragging about it at your birthday party. She’s remarkably chatty when she’s been drinking.” Tara was remarkably chatty all the time, but she got downright obscene with alcohol. Caleb got the sense that she was intentionally making him aware of the oil, almost as if she was giving him a not-so-subtle nudge.
As if any of this was up to him. Still, the knowledge came in handy. He’s feeling not the least bit smug about it, at least, until she hits him with another jab. “It’s in the drawer of my bedside table.”
Caleb closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and specifically does not think about what that likely means.
He clears his throat, but his voice is still rough when he finally manages to ask, “Can you dress yourself?”
“I can manage. But what are you going to do with the oil?”
Caleb shakes his head, turns, and fixes her with a look. “Massage your legs, silly girl. You could barely stand earlier. They’re gonna be hellish in the morning if you don’t take care of them now.”
“You’d do that for me?” she asks, cheeks still flushed from her shower, and towel wrapped tight. She looks good enough to eat, and Caleb expects that if he doesn’t somewhat sate the beast inside of him, he’s going to make a meal of her sooner rather than later.
Caleb stands before her, bunches her shirt—his shirt—up, and slides the top over her head. “Can you manage the rest?”
She nods, and he turns around to give her some privacy. “The shorts?”
“I can manage,” she replies, but her groans make his stomach twist with concern.
“They’re working you too hard.”
“My job is hard. This is what I signed up for.”
“Then you need to do a better job of taking care of yourself during your days off.”
“Okay, Mom.”
“I think ‘Daddy’ would be more fitting.”
“Caleb!” she squeaks. “Don’t say things like that.” But she certainly doesn’t sound as scandalized as she should…
“All right, all right. I’m sorry. You finished?”
“…Yeah, I got it.”
Caleb turns, tilts his head, and gives her a look. Her hair’s messed up now from the shirt, and she looks tired. A perfect pout greets his smile.
“Poor baby,” he softly croons. “Lay back and let me take care of you.”
He can see her swallow at that, like she’s having a hard time making her vocal cords work. “You’re just taking advantage of my weakness.”
“Naturally. How else am I gonna get you to understand that you need me?”
She huffs at that. “You need me just as much as I need you, Caleb.”
He snorts softly, teeth pressing into his tongue, before he softly admits, “You have no idea… Now, no more stalling.”
Caleb points to the bed, and she dutifully scoots back onto the sheets, albeit slowly and with effort. He manages to dig out the oil from her dresser and pointedly ignores literally everything else that’s hidden away in there because he won’t be able to behave if he does otherwise.
“I guess I should have grabbed the oil,” she starts to say.
He frowns. “Why?”
“Oh… never mind.”
“Something you don’t want me to see in there?”
She nibbles her lip, eyes fluttering softly as she murmurs, “Maybe… maybe not.”
The look she gives him is so coy and tempting that his mind goes completely blank and he utterly forgets what the hell he’d been in the middle of doing. At least, until she points to the oil.
“Are you gonna massage my legs or…?”
“Yeah… yeah. Right. Roll over, Pip-squeak. Lemme see where it hurts.”
She rolls over and Caleb’s eyes trail reverently over the length of her legs. She looks good. Too good. He hates that her coworkers get to even see a measure of this. Of course, he knows it’s insane to want to be the only one who can appreciate her, but his greedy heart feels it just the same.
“You been workin’ out more lately?”
“Hmm? Why?”
“Things look… tight,” he rasps, voice betraying his interest and desire.
Her reply is soft and teasing. “Someone did make me join that squat challenge last month. And here, I thought you had ulterior motives, but you’re acting all surprised.”
Caleb coughs to cover up some of his embarrassment and dispel a measure of his lust. Yeah, he had gotten her to agree to that challenge. Honestly, he’d been grasping for things to say, because he caught her right after a workout and the fine mist of sweat on her brow, along with the gorgeous flush in her cheeks, had him thinking of exercise of a different kind.
And here she’d taken him seriously.
“Gonna be as strong as me soon,” he manages while stepping closer to the bed. Her legs are spread on either side of him, and for one long moment, he doesn’t know what to do, or where to look next.
“Doubt it. Your legs are too long, and your thighs are too strong.”
“Been thinking about my thighs, baby?”
He’s teasing, sweet, and he means to catch her off guard, but she hits back so hard as she replies, “Yeah, your thighs… and other parts of your anatomy.”
Caleb sighs, long and hard. Says a prayer for courage to whoever happens to be listening, the Gods of the earth and the sea and space, or otherwise, and then, he gets to work. He kneels on the floor at the edge of the bed, and he’s tall enough that this gives him a good vantage point. He knows exactly what he wants to do next, and he’s as ready as he’ll ever be.
“Tell me if it hurts.”
feels like home series page; sticky fingers: chapter two
~~~
Author’s Note:
Sorry, this was so big that I had to cut it into two chapters because I hate editing and I got busy with other stuff. I’ll post the other chapter tomorrow, so you can have something to enjoy (I hope) over the weekend. The second part is spicier :D
I listened to the hipsterist hipster music for this one to get me into the right headspace, please enjoy haha. Also somewhat inspired by what has to have been the most painful massage I’ve ever had in my LIFE (did not have the same ending, there was only pain lmao, but I was like hmm maybe Caleb would be good at massages for MC, and then, PAIN). Also Deeply inspired by that secret times where Caleb takes care of MC when she’s sick. Like GOD DAMN, Caleb. “You’re worried I’ll spoil you rotten. Too late for that!” ??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
Also, not that it matters in the slightest, but I wrote this before I learned it’s canon that she likes to keep his clothes around (and wear them???) because they smell like him. They’re just really transparent with how fucking down bad these two are for each other lmao.
Still really fucking obsessed here, guys. Chokehold, I think is a good way to put it. Caleb is a mf bias wrecker, like oh my literal GOD. I swear, some of these are gonna be from MC’s pov, but I’m working through some SHIT rn lol.
I also gave the MC a little name, “Emme” which is short for Emme Sea lmao. I have a challenging time with writing y/n or like using second person present tense. No judgment or anything like that, it just makes it hard for me to think of the characters properly when I’m writing them. ANYWAY, I’ll use it sparingly, but sometimes, it’s just better to have a name lol.
Anyway, thanks so much for reading! And extra hugs for anyone who left a comment. You are the apple of my eye, and thank you for giving me a space to channel this whatever it is? Obsession lmao. I’ve got a few other interludes planned (shower), and I’m taking requests (on tumblr), so either give this/me a follow, or check up on my tumblr :) If you enjoyed, I’d love to hear from you! Or feel free to share with a friend, if you’re lucky enough to have some Caleb-obsessed friends haha.
Don’t forget! I'll be posting any updates as installments (not chapters), so be sure to sub to the series or my user name to get updates on ao3, or just check my tumblr, i'll post here too♥️🍎
Love Letters - Liam Mairi
summary: while Liam is away on a mission, he leaves behind a series of handwritten notes for reader. As she finds them hidden in her daily routine, they become her anchor, a reminder that no distance can truly separate them.
pairing: liam mairi x fem!reader warnings: fluff word count: 1.4k
⸻⸻⸻✦ ♡ ✦⸻⸻⸻
Y/N didn’t notice the first note right away. It was small, tucked neatly beneath her dagger on the nightstand, the parchment slightly curled at the edges. The familiar slant of Liam’s handwriting made her heart stutter as she reached for it, unfolding the delicate piece of paper with careful fingers.
My Love,
I know you hate waking up alone, and I wish more than anything that I could be there when you open your eyes. But since I can’t, I’ll leave little pieces of myself behind. Starting with this—I love you. I’ll love you today, tomorrow, and every moment after. Try not to set anything on fire while I’m gone.
Yours, always.
She let out a soft, breathless laugh, pressing the note against her chest. Trust Liam to anticipate the ache of his absence before she even had time to feel it. Still holding the note, she made her way toward class, her mind entirely occupied with thoughts of him. She didn’t even notice Ridoc eyeing her curiously until he suddenly snatched the paper right from her fingers.
“What’s this?” he mused, dodging her immediate lunge to get it back. “A love letter? Oh, this is good.” He cleared his throat dramatically before reading aloud. “I’ll love you today, tomorrow, and every moment after.” He clutched his chest. “By the gods, Y/N, this is so sweet I think I might pass out.”
Violet and Rhi burst into laughter as Y/N groaned, face burning. “Give that back, Ridoc, or I swear—” “Liam really has it bad,” Rhi teased, grinning. “You’ve completely ruined him.” “I did not ruin him!” Y/N huffed, reaching for the note again, only for Ridoc to hold it just out of reach. “He was already disgustingly perfect before I came along.” “He’s an absolute goner,” Violet agreed, smirking. “I mean, we already knew, but this just proves it.”
Ridoc finally relented, handing the note back with a wink. “Fine, fine. But if he ever gets tired of writing you love letters, I’m happy to ghostwrite a few.” Y/N snatched it back with a scowl, though the warmth in her chest remained. “Liam would rather let a gryphon eat him whole.”
The second note appeared in the pocket of her flight leathers, crinkling beneath her fingers as she reached for her gloves.
My Love,
Did you know you furrow your brow when you’re concentrating? It’s adorable. And infuriating, because it makes me want to kiss you senseless when you’re deep in thought. But since I’m not there to do it, consider this my promise—I’ll make up for every missed opportunity when I return.
Yours, always.
She swallowed against the warmth creeping up her neck, shoving the note back into her pocket before anyone noticed the flush on her cheeks. Y/N soared high above the training fields, the wind rushing past her as Caelan cut effortlessly through the sky. Liam’s words lingered in her mind, wrapping around her like the wind against her skin.
She had never thought about the way she furrowed her brow. But Liam had. Liam noticed. Just like he noticed how she always twirled her dagger between her fingers when she was restless. How she held her breath for a split second before throwing a punch. How she tapped her nails against the hilt of her sword when she was thinking through a strategy.
Liam noticed the smallest things about her—the things even she didn’t realize she did. And the weight of that realization settled deep in her chest. She thought about the little things that made him who he was. The way his hands always gravitated toward her, even in sleep—fingers brushing her arm, his palm resting against her waist, as if even unconscious he needed to touch. The way he always took the seat closest to the door when they were in a room together, an old habit from years of needing to be ready to protect at a moment’s notice. The way his lips curled into the softest, most unguarded smile when he thought no one was looking.
The way he always knew when she needed silence instead of words. When she needed a joke instead of comfort. When she needed him to pull her in instead of giving her space. Liam was observant, patient, steady—everything she wasn’t, but everything she needed. Caelan let out a sharp rumble beneath her, sensing the shift in her emotions.
"I’m fine," she assured him, though her fingers curled a little tighter against his scales. He didn’t buy it. Not that she expected him to. Not when Liam had left her feeling like this—warm and full, yet aching all at once. She adjusted her grip and Caelan angled into a wide turn, scanning the horizon out of habit. The rest of the patrol team was spread out in formation, but her mind remained locked on one thought.
She missed Liam. Not just his presence, but the way he saw her. And gods, she wanted to see him, too.
The notes kept coming. Hidden between the pages of her favorite book, slipped inside the satchel she carried to training, even tucked into Xaden’s back pocket for her to find. Each one was different—sometimes playful, sometimes tender, but always filled with Liam’s unwavering devotion.
By the time a week had passed, she had gathered a dozen of them, each a lifeline tethering her to him. She read them when the days felt too long, when the silence of her room felt too empty, when she missed the steady warmth of his presence beside her. And then, finally, he returned.
Y/N didn’t give him a chance to speak before she launched herself into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist as he caught her effortlessly, his familiar scent washing over her. “Miss me?” Liam murmured against her hair, holding her just as tightly. “Terribly,” she admitted. “But you already knew that.”
He chuckled, his breath warm against her skin. “I had a feeling.” Reaching into her pocket, Y/N pulled out a folded piece of parchment and pressed it into his palm. His brows lifted as he opened it, eyes scanning the words written in her neat, careful script.
Liam, my Heart,
You left pieces of yourself behind, but you didn’t realize—I carry you with me always. In every breath, every heartbeat, every thought. Your notes reminded me of what I already knew: that there is no world in which I exist without loving you.
I miss you like I miss the air when I’m drowning. It’s not just a passing ache—it’s something deeper, something woven into my bones. I see you everywhere, in everything. In the way the sun rises slow and steady, just like the warmth of your hands against my skin. In the way the wind shifts, constant and unyielding, like the way you’ve always been there for me. I see you in the stars, in the embers of a dying fire, in the pages of my favorite books—because no matter where I look, you are there.
I don’t know if I ever told you this, but before you, love was something distant. Something I could admire from afar but never touch, never hold in my hands. It wasn’t meant for people like us—people who have lost too much, who have been taught that love is something cruel, something fleeting.
But then you walked into my life with your quiet strength, your unwavering patience, your heart that has always been too big for this war-torn world. And suddenly, love wasn’t distant anymore. It was in the way you looked at me when you thought I wasn’t paying attention. In the way you knew when I needed a push and when I needed a hand to hold. In the way you saw me, truly saw me, when I wasn’t even sure I knew who I was.
I love you.
Not just in the easy moments, but in the hard ones too. In the silences between words, in the spaces between breaths. I love you in ways I don’t know how to put into words, but I hope you can feel it. I hope you never doubt it. I hope you understand that you are my home, my heart, my always.
Yours, always.
As Liam read the letter, his fingers trembled slightly, his chest tightening with every word. He had expected something sweet, maybe teasing, maybe affectionate. But this—this was everything. It was every unspoken truth, every quiet moment they had ever shared, poured onto a single page. His throat worked around a thick knot of emotion as he read it again, then again, as if trying to commit every word to memory.
And when he finally looked up, his sky-blue eyes found Y/N’s, and he knew—there was no world in which he existed without loving her, too.
warm scents and cold hands
lynn wilms x reader series
last chapter - next chapter
chapter four
two weeks later.. the walk to the restaurant was short but brisk, the cold air biting at your cheeks as you clutched your phone in one hand and your bag in the other.
you hadn’t anticipated how chilly wolfsburg nights could get, and your hoodie, as comfortable as it was, did little to shield you from the wind.
you mentally scolded yourself for prioritizing style over warmth, but it was too late now. at least your outfit was cute!
when you spotted the restaurant up ahead, its glowing sign casting a welcoming light on the sidewalk, a small smile tugged at your lips.
the idea of trying sushi for the first time had you excited. you weren’t sure what to expect, but sveindís and lynn had talked the place up so much throughout training earlier that you couldn’t help but feel a little eager.
stepping inside, the warm, savory scent of the restaurant immediately wrapped around you. it smelled like soy sauce, sesame, and something you couldn’t quite place but knew you’d enjoy. you scanned the room and spotted sveindís sitting at a table near the window, already scrolling through the menu.
“hey girlie!” she called out, waving as you made your way over.
“hey,” you greeted back, slipping into the seat across from her.
“have you been waiting long?”
she shook her head, setting the menu down.
“nope, just a few minutes. lynn’s on her way, though.”
you nodded, feeling the warmth of the restaurant starting to thaw your chilled skin.
“how was your national break?”
sveindís smiled, leaning back in her chair.
“it was good. busy, but good. those matches against denmark were tough, but it felt nice to be back with my team. how about you?”
“same, honestly,” you replied.
“it’s always refreshing to be back home, you know?”
she nodded in agreement, but there was a mischievous glint in her eye as she tilted her head at you.
“so... are you excited for tonight?”
you frowned slightly, unsure what she meant.
“yeah, i mean, i’ve never had sushi before, so i’m kind of excited to try it. why?”
before she could answer, the door to the restaurant opened, and a familiar figure stepped inside.
lynn.
you glanced over, and there she was, dressed casually yet effortlessly stylish in a hoodie and matching colored coat, her hair slightly tousled from the wind. she spotted you and sveindís almost immediately, a warm smile spreading across her face as she made her way over.
sveindís leaned toward you and whispered, “you’ll see what i mean.” then, she winked.
you blinked, confused, but before you could question her, lynn slid into the seat beside you. the slight brush of her shoulder against yours sent an unexpected warmth through you, and you found yourself suddenly hyper-aware of her proximity.
“sorry i’m late,” lynn said, pulling off her coat and draping it over the back of her chair.
“there was a bit of traffic.”
“you’re fine,” you assured her, your voice a little softer than you intended.
lynn turned to you then, her gaze lingering for a moment before she said, “you look beautiful.”
your cheeks flushed instantly, and you managed a quiet, “thank you.” your mind couldn’t help but note that she hadn’t said the same to sveindís, though you quickly pushed the thought aside.
the three of you settled into the evening, the conversation flowing easily. sveindís kept things light and fun, cracking jokes that had you and lynn laughing, while lynn chimed in with her own dry humor that only added to the easy vibe.
when the food arrived, you hesitated at first, unsure of what to try.
“here,” lynn said, using her chopsticks to point at one of the rolls on the platter. “start with this one. it’s a salmon roll…simple but good.”
you picked it up carefully, mimicking the way she held her chopsticks. your first bite was tentative, but as the flavors hit your tongue, your eyes widened slightly.
“oh, wow,” you said after swallowing.
“that’s actually really good.”
“see? told you,” lynn said with a small smirk.
“you’re officially a sushi girl now,” sveindís declared, grinning.
the rest of the dinner passed in a blur of laughter, warm conversation, and trying new dishes. the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere, combined with the delicious food and the company, made you forget all about the cold waiting for you outside.
when the three of you finally stepped out onto the sidewalk, the chill hit you immediately.
you shivered, pulling your hoodie tighter around yourself and rubbing your hands together in an attempt to generate some warmth.
“you okay?” lynn asked, her voice tinged with amusement as she noticed you practically vibrating from the cold.
“yeah, just... wasn’t thinking when i left the house,” you admitted, exhaling a visible puff of air.
“clearly,” sveindís teased, zipping up her coat.
“come on, let’s head to that clothing store down the block.”
the three of you began walking, the cold air biting at your exposed skin. as you reached the store, sveindís ducked inside immediately,
however, lynn stopped just outside, turning to you.
“wait,” she said, pulling off her gloves.
you shook your head quickly.
“lynn, no. it’s fine. i’ll survive.”
she raised an eyebrow, holding the gloves out toward you.
“your hands are freezing. just take them.”
“it’s my fault for not dressing properly,” you insisted, trying to wave her off.
lynn rolled her eyes, her tone teasing as she said, “don’t be stubborn, y/n. here.”
you hesitated, but before you could protest again, lynn grabbed your hands gently, her warm palms covering your frozen fingers. your breath hitched at the unexpected contact, and for a moment, all you could do was stare at her.
“see? freezing,” she said softly, her eyes meeting yours.
your cheeks burned, but before you could respond, she lifted one of your hands and pressed a light kiss to your knuckles. the warmth of her lips against your cold skin sent a jolt of something electric through you, and you bit your lip to keep from smiling too wide.
“all better,” she said with a smirk, sliding her gloves onto your hands herself. once they were on, she rubbed your gloved hands briefly, her touch lingering just long enough to make your heart race.
“thanks you,” you managed to say, your voice barely above a whisper.
“anytime,” lynn replied, her smirk softening into a genuine smile. she gave your hands one last squeeze before stepping back.
“now, let’s go before sveindís buys the whole store.”
as she turned to head inside, you stood frozen for a moment, still processing what had just happened.
your heart felt like it might burst out of your chest, and your mind replayed the feeling of her warm hands on yours, the press of her lips against your skin.
as you walked in the store, you realized something undeniable: you were falling for lynn wilms, and there was no stopping it now.
Part 4 of the story based off a prompt by @ready-to-read7
To be fair, the only real reason the first few weeks of his new life were as ordinary as they were was because Danny was still settling into the new universe. Clockwork was right when he said that Danny may lose some memories, he couldn't even remember his families faces, it causes a small pang of pain deep in his core but he knew that what he lost was probably for the best. Thankfully he seemed to have kept most of his other memories. His powers (if he gets them in this life, clockwork never said...then again Danny never asked, Danny accepted that as his own fault) and how they worked were like innate knowledge, something he couldn't forget if he tried. The rest came back slowly through the weeks, though learning how to multiply did little to nothing in terms of helping him navigate being a child.
Everything was newer, brighter, and more colorful to his new eyes and his body was as weak...well as a babies he supposed. Took five weeks before he could even slightly push himself off of whatever comfy place momma had put him. It was about his second full month that he started to be able to figure out speaking. Danny figured it was probably best to keep that to himself though, seeing as he wasn't so sure if just...instantly being able to hold a conversation was ok in this world. That didn't matter though cause his mom was so cool.
It was about two weeks in that he realized who momma was. Usually she tried her best to hide her costume, but one day she came back home looking dead tired (heh...dead). The rings around her eyes had Danny concerned for her till he noticed the tiara on her head. His mother was a princess! And not just any princess, his mother was Wonder Woman! princess of themyscera, protector of man and woman kind!
Honestly Danny was shocked at first. He had figured he would be in the hands of batman or mabey even green lantern (seeing as he is a being of emotion and...well lanterns entire thing is about emotions) but nope. Some god or mabey even the ancients had capital WW be his parent. Danny just knew that means he is safe no matter what! His momma never lied, even talked to him like he understood her (he did obviously but the fact she could tell was awe inspiring) and always kept him informed. Of course his momma freaked a little when she realized she still had the costume on but a smile and giggle from Danny helped console those feelings, that made the ghost boy happy, his core purring which his mother seemed to feel; if only a little.
The months seemed to fly by after Danny got most of his memories back, he still didn't remember his family or most of his human life beyond the basics but what he did remember told him that if he had the choice...he didn't want to. His ghost life, or half ghost life he supposed, seemed almost all intact which was nice; he didn't have to worry about not being able to control things and didn't want to have to deal with hitting his face constantly from his hand phasing through a table on accident.
Danny was always curious, whenever his momma would hold him his eyes would be scanning the area. Weapons of all kinds seemed to cover every inch of their house (besides his room of course), some ancient, some modern, all were intriguing to Danny though. Sometimes his mother would catch him staring at one in particular and would start telling him the history of the weapon.
Today she was talking about a spear. It had a golden tip and a long blade that ended in a oval towards the staff. The staff had intricate carvings, words he couldn't understand, and drawings that seemed to glow slightly. Momma said it was a gift from Ares after she defeated him for the fifth time, apparently it could collapse into a small staff for transport if needed. Next to it was a creepy shield with an indention that looked like a scary monster with large slitted pupils and snakes all over their head. Momma said it was a creature called a gorgon, that their gaze could freeze you to stone; naturally Danny kept from staring at it for too long in fear of not being able to move...he didn't want to deal with that again.
Hours would seem to fly by, his mother teaching him all about her culture and history, how she helped save the world multiple times (even fighting in WW2!). She said that as soon as he could walk she would be taking him to her homeland for training to be a powerful warrior! That day Danny started trying his best to get his body to comply and after a few days started to crawl. His mother smiles wide as she took video of it saying "truly a warrior of the gods able to crawl at only four months," which honestly Danny didn't understand; mabey babies took longer here to learn to crawl? Back in his last life it only took five months.
Speaking of videos, Danny always sees his mother with what looked like a phone, always smiling wide even when all he was doing was sitting down watching the TV and all it's wonders. He figured it was an adult thing that he never really got to grow up and see. He was watching a neat show about a girl who fell down a rabbit hole and into a strange new world; he hated the weird queen with a knack for chopping people's legs off. Then there were the times he would be checking out his feet (how can feet be so interesting? Has to be the baby brain) and his mother would be staring at him with utter joy, Danny usually just ignored her and continued doing his baby stuff.
His powers first started appearing a couple of days before his first birthday, now to Danny this was awesome, it meant he can be a hero like his mom (though he probably would have been one even if he didn't have powers). To his momma though...it seemed to cause some...stress. While slightly funny to him the look of shock on his mother's face as she found him up on the large refrigerator only to watch him slowly float down to the ground, he was also very sorry. He could feel the shock and fear emanating from his mother so his head was pointed down at the floor,
"sowwy" the young child whispered slowly looking up expecting anger, instead his own face imitated the shocked look his mother made only a short few seconds ago for what he found was his moma...smiling wide. With a quick swoop his mother picked him up gently tickling him.
"My little warrior there is no need to be sorry, you used a tactical advantage of me being out of sight to seek what you desired, now while it was against my rules of asking first I am very proud of you young one" she ended her onslaught of tickles with a booping in his nose,
"just promise not to get cookies without permission first, but more importantly, you have been gifted powers by the gods! That is something to celebrate little one! Now you are indeed ready to go to themyscera and start your training!" His momma beamed at Danny who returned the smile "but first," his mother said interrupting his cheers, "we will have to see some of mommas friends so we can learn more about your wonderful gifts," she exclaimed booping Danny again, "a warrior must be what young one?" She smile down at Danny who stuck out his chest and proclaimed, "a warrior must be pwepared for all scemarios and learn to control all they have at their adwantoge." His mother gave a small chuckle and ruffled his hair, "yes young one, now is there any other gifts you should let me know you have?"
Thankfully he didn't have many yet, so far it seems he only had the ability to float and go invisible but he did tell momma that there is a chance for more. That made her eyebrow raise, "it seems you know more than you tell me young one, but I understand the need for secrets, when you are ready to tell me I will always listen," she smiled and sighed, "I have been keeping some truths from you too, when you are older I'll tell you ok?" Danny nodded, he wondered what the secrets could be that he didn't already know but he figured his mother was already being kind enough to not pry into his own so he let it go (best part of reincarnation Danny had decided right then is he can control his emotions better than most...which is probably why his mom knows he is hiding secrets from her).
With all said and done the rest of the day was fairly average for the mother and son, they played some games, did a puzzle, and soon enough it was bedtime. Danny was snuggled up to the small minotaur plushie his mom gave him when she first got all the stuff for his room as his mom read him a story. This one was about a pirate in search for treasure...but in space!.
After the story his momma gave him a kiss on the forehead and tucked him in. Before turning off the light she whispered an "I love you little one, get a good night's sleep, tomorrow we go somewhere I'm sure you will absolutely adore and meet all of your moms cool friends." With that she flicked the light switch and went off to her own room to sleep. Danny did his best to fall asleep, excited for what tomorrow has in store.
Crossed Destinies – Part 2 🧡
Y/N hadn’t expected to hear from Lando again. After all, he was a busy guy, constantly traveling from one country to another. Their conversation in Monaco had been unexpected, easy, and fun, but Y/N assumed it was just a fleeting moment—one of those chance encounters that leave a warm memory but nothing more.
That’s why she was surprised when, a week later, a message popped up on their phone.
Lando: Monaco was fun, but I think I prefer talking to you without all the noise. How about a rematch?
Y/N stared at the message, a small smile creeping onto her lips. She hesitated for a second before typing back.
Y/N: A rematch? Were we competing?
Lando: Everything in life is a competition. And right now, I’m losing because I haven’t seen you again.
A few days later, they met in London. No fancy event, no crowd—just the two of them at a quiet café tucked away in a hidden corner of the city. Lando was more relaxed than Y/N had expected. Without the cameras and the spotlight, he was just a guy who loved to joke around, tell stories, and listen just as much as he talked.
They spent the entire afternoon together, walking along the river, teasing each other, sharing little pieces of their lives. Y/N realized that Lando wasn’t just charming—he was genuine. There was something about the way he paid attention, how he asked questions that actually mattered, how he made her laugh so easily.
As the evening cooled, they sat on a bench overlooking the Thames, the city lights reflecting on the water. Lando leaned back, hands in his pockets, then turned to Y/N with a thoughtful expression.
“You know, I’m usually the one being chased,” he said, smirking. “It’s kind of nice meeting someone who doesn’t care about the whole racing thing.”
Y/N chuckled. “Maybe I should start pretending I’m impressed. Might boost your ego a little.”
Lando laughed, shaking his head. “Nah, I like this better. You make me feel… normal.”
A comfortable silence settled between them before Lando glanced at Y/N again, this time a little more serious.
“So, do I get a third round of this… non-competition?”
Y/N pretended to think for a moment, then smiled. “Depends. Are you willing to lose again?”
Lando grinned, leaning in just slightly. “With you? I wouldn’t mind.”
And just like that, what had started as a chance encounter in Monaco was turning into something neither of them had expected—but neither of them wanted to let go.
Tease
Pairing: Jason Todd x Rapper!fem!reader
Summary: Jason was sitting in at one of your concerts, so you decide to tease him a bit.
Warnings: none, maybe a little (sexual) flirting
a/n: Dividers by @anitalenia. I don't want anyone to copy or use my work as "inspiration."
You were currently waiting backstage of the big stage where outside the curtain, hundreds, if not thousands of people were waiting for you. You were one of the biggest rappers now, ever since one of your songs blew up. This was your passion, and you were never going to stop. Besides, you loved hearing your own voice rapping like that anyway.
Tonight, you were in Gotham, your boyfriends home city. He was obviously going to be there tonight to support you. You two have kept in contact but since you were always traveling for shows, he would never miss this. You two barely get to see each other, but when you do, you make every moment count.
"Your on in 3." Your producer says, "How you feeling?"
"I'll be okay, i've done this before." You reply, giving her a warm smile.
"Okay. You'll do great out there." She says, returning the smile.
"Thanks.." You say.
She walks over to your co-producer as the curtains open and the stage is now revealed to the crowd. You take a deep breath as you walk further up onto the stage and raise the mic to your mouth.
"What is up Gotham?" You say into the mic. "How are y'all tonight?"
The crowd responds with some scattered laughter and some "Good" and "Great, what about you?"
"Oh well I'm great, thanks for asking. Lets get this started now shall we?" You say as a beat now plays to one of your most famous songs.
You look into the crowd as you wait for your part, and you spot Jason, front row center, cheering you on and giving you a thumbs up. You suddenly get an idea, giving him a smirk, one of appreciation and one of mischief. He rolls his eyes playfully at your smirk, mouthing out "you got this."
The part finally comes for you to start rapping and as you do, the crowd raps along with you. You make eye contact with him the entire time as you were singing, and he mouths out the lyrics of your song.
You wink at him before settling on your hand and knees, your upper chest, not fully your tits, revealing to only him. Your back arches slightly, but at the angle he's sitting, he could fully see it. His eyes go wide as he swallow's thickly.
The song ends as another one plays. You get back up and start to rap the next song. You lay down on your back and look into the crowd as you arch your back and slightly open your legs. You stay like that for about 30 seconds before getting back up and performing the rest of the song. You watch as Jason shift slightly and he adjusts his pants to make his boner less obvious.
For the next song, you sit at the edge of the stage, looking at only him as you rapped. He held eye contact with you and blew you a kiss. You smiled and winked at him.
The song ends and you get back up and walk over to the middle of the stage. During the middle of the song, you squat down, and open your legs, revealing the shimmery lingerie you had on. You drop to your knees and tilt your head back and hold your hair into a makeshift ponytail. You see Jason's eye roll and smirk, knowing he's just trying to hide how much he actually enjoys it.
After the show was over and you disappeared backstage, Jason comes up to you. "Great show doll." He compliments.
"Thanks Jay." You say, feeling somewhat proud. He takes a step closer, wrapping one arm around your waist while looking down at you. You look back up at him and place both of your hands on his chest.
"I loved your poses." He whispers to you.
"I know." You whisper back, like a secret between the two of you.
April raised an eyebrow, a grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Your mom made you take tennis lessons in heels?" she echoed, her tone playful but also a little incredulous. "That’s a whole other level of dedication—or maybe just pure, unadulterated chaos." She shook her head, half-laughing. "I mean, I respect the resilience, but I’m also low-key questioning some of those parenting choices. It’s like she wanted you to be a pageant queen and an athlete all in one."
April’s expression shifted to one of subtle curiosity, but she didn’t press. "Yeah, I get that. People have these ‘slip-ups,’ but it’s only after the second or third time that it starts feeling more like a pattern than an accident, right?" April’s tone softened, leaning into the conversation a bit more seriously now. "And when you’ve been there, seen it all before, the first slip-up doesn’t feel like just that anymore."
She leaned back, taking a sip of her drink, eyes thoughtful as she regarded Presley. "Sometimes it's the repeated stuff that really gets you, even if it's all wrapped in the shiny package of 'it's not what it looks like' or 'I'm sorry' or 'I didn't mean it.'" April shrugged lightly, her voice staying steady. "You can only put so many apologies in the jar before it starts feeling empty."
Her gaze softened just slightly, a knowing kind of quiet settling between them for a moment. "But, hey, you don’t have to dive into that now. Just... don’t forget that you deserve more than someone who keeps giving you the same empty apology over and over again."
"I've barely been able to feel my feet since I was about eleven years old," Presley confesses sheepishly.
"I tripped in them in a pageant once when I was fourteen and my mom was so humiliated by it that she made me take my tennis lessons in heels for a month. It was awful at the time but if I had to I could probably run an Olympic sprint in stilettos."
Betsy used to tell the story like a fun anecdotal quip -- saying it to another normal human, however, is making Presley realize how questionable the parenting was.
April's monologuing about body language keeps Presley's attention -- she had put much thought in how that would show in a romantic relationship aside from typical affection.
She snorts softly, thinking about Reggie without wanting to.
"Depends on whether or not it's the first time he 'slipped up'."
a/n: I’ve had this idea for awhile but wasn’t sure if anyone would read it so I’m just gonna put it out there!
Pt.2 masterlist
You had just finished the first round in the squid games ,red light green light, and you were terrified as you sat in your bed. Why were people being shot? How are you gonna get out? What is happening? A thousand thoughts raced through your mind at once until you felt a hand on your shoulder.
You turn around and your met with the face of a worried old woman. It was Geum-Ja, the sweet woman you met during the first game.
“Are you ok?” She asked.
You nod, not exactly in the mood for talking.
Her eyes flickered down to your stomach before looking at you again. She smiled “if you need anything please let me know..”
You nod again, trying to hint at her you wanna be alone before you hear a man yelling, saying something about a vote.
The guards reply a bit after saying that there would be a vote after each game, and a vote soon commences.
“389…please cast your vote….. 388.. please cast your vote” The voice of the guard said.
You were so deep in thought that you didn’t even notice who was currently walking down the aisle to place there vote until the buzzer went off.
“Another person voted to stay…” you thought in your mind… Wait what??
You couldn’t see that well from where you were standing but you caught a glimpse of his face.
It was Dae-ho.
“No… there’s no way… why would he vote to stay.. it can’t be h-“ Your thoughts were soon cut off by the guards voice again.
“222.. please cast your vote”
Jeez how long were you thinking for… whatever it doesn’t matter… you walk down the aisle shyly, feeling everyone’s eyes on you as you press the red button with the X on it. You don’t dare to look behind you, knowing who’s face you’d immediately see.
The votes for O only kept going up and by the end of the vote, O had won.
You feel the anxiety really getting to you and retreat to your bed, trying to run away from your worries. When you get there you feel a hand grab your wrist.
“Y/n…” Dae-ho says, a slight bit of panic in his voice.
You don’t want to turn around but you force yourself to, looking up at him.
“What are you doing here???” He asks in a not so soft tone .
“I could ask you the same thing…” you reply with an attitude, still upset about him voting O.
“I came to settle our debt-“ He tries to explain.
You cut him off. “And you didn’t think of telling me??”
He sighs trying to reason with you. “Listen.. y/n… they said not to tell anyone… I couldn’t risk losing the opportunity at the time… And you can’t get upset at me when you’re literally here as well…”
You rub your face in frustration. “I’m not upset at you for being here I’m upset you didn’t tell me and even more upset you chose to stay!”
“I didn’t know you were here.. if I had known that I would’ve voted X in a heart beat… We need the money baby….” He reply’s, his tone softening.
“This money is not worth dying for…” you say as you start to walk away.
“Y/n stop….” He grabs your arm softly.
“What….” You reply.
“We aren’t done talking…” he says, pulling you back towards him.
You sigh. “What else is there to talk about”
“Why are you here..” He asks. He thinks he knows the answer but he just wants to hear it from you.
“For the same reason you are…” You half lie. Yes you are here to try and settle your debt but also to get a little extra money for the baby.
He sighs, not knowing what to say.
You just turn around and start walking away before he grabs you once again but this time pulling you into his arms.
You’re surprised but you hug him back, not realizing how much you needed it.
While hugging you, Dae-ho couldn’t help but realize that it felt different, the way your body’s pressed together wasn’t quite as comfortable as your stomach was blocking him from getting to close.
He pulled away looking down at you.
“Y/n..?”
You looked away, realizing he probably noticed.
Five months before you joined the squid game you found out you were pregnant. You hid it from Dae-ho, wearing sweaters when your bump started to get a little noticeable and just saying you were cold despite it being summer, he didn’t think much of it. It was quite easy to hide because he was rarely home as he was looking for jobs.
You didn’t want to hide this from him. But you did, in fear that something would happen with your relationship as you wanted to keep the baby. You didn’t have a plan, you didn’t know when you were gonna tell him, all you knew was that you were gonna hide it for as long as possible.
Dae-ho’s hand on your arm snapped you back into reality. You look up at his worried face and just start crying, the hormones getting to you.
“Hey…. What’s going on…” He asks softly.
“I- I’m sorry-“ You stutter.
“Talk to me baby…” He puts a hand on your waist.
You back up, not wanting to be reminded that he knows now.
He keeps his distance but it kills him to see you like this.
“I’m- I’m pregnant-…” you say softly as you continue crying.
“W-“ He struggles to find his words “For how long??-…”
“Five months….” You admit.
“Why didn’t you tell me baby??” He says, still in shock.
“I’m sorry…” you continue crying into your hands.
He walks over to you and hugs you tightly.
You cry into his chest. “I thought- you would be mad..”
“Mad? Why would I be mad at you….” He asks softly.
“I don’t know….” You say, starting to calm down a little.
He continues to hold you and comfort you, silently cursing at himself for voting O, now realizing how much harder this is gonna be.
Later that evening you and Dae-ho join a group of three other boys, Gi-hun, Young-il, and Jung-bae.
You sit with the boys, your arms resting around your stomach out of habit and Jung-bae can’t help but notice.
“I’m gonna go take a quick nap..” You say to the group, your exhaustion getting the best of you.
You distinctively hear Gi-hun say something about dinner soon but just brush it off, too tired to even listen.
“I’ll be fine..” you say as you walk to your nearby bed and collapse on it.
Once Jung-bae notices you’re gone he looks at Dae-ho. “Is she um.. yk..” He asks nosily.
Dae-ho just sighs and nods and the group looks a little shocked, Feeling a newfound protectiveness for you, their new group mate.
After the group gets over the initial shock of the situation they start making a plan on what to do for the next games and how they are gonna survive as a group.
The sound of a voice saying to line up for dinner interrupts their conversation and Dae-ho goes to wake you up. You groan, not wanting to get up and slowly get out of bed before following him into the line. (He lets you go first cause he’s a gentleman 😘)
You guys get your food and go back to the spot where you were previously sitting. Right when you sat down a wave of nausea hit you and you just didn’t want to eat at all.
Dae-ho notices this. “Hey are you ok?”
You whimper slightly. “I can’t eat…”
The group looks at you concerned and Dae-ho speaks up again. “Why what’s wrong?”
“I don’t know I just feel sick…” You reply, leaning on him.
He rubs your arm softly before young-il speaks up. “You should really try to eat… the next meal won’t be till tomorrow morning… that’s probably not safe considering-“
Dae-ho cuts him off, not wanting to have you be reminded of it and get more stressed right now. “He’s right… try to eat just a little hm?”
You pout at him. “fine..”
You take small bites of your food, it’s not terrible but it’s definitely not making your nausea any better. Nonetheless you push through, knowing that you need to eat for the baby.
Dae-ho looks at you happily, glad you decided to eat.
You try to eat as much as you can before you just set the food down and lean on Dae-ho again, his presence comforting you through your sickness.
You end up falling asleep on him as the group just talks and continues their plan.
Once again, the voice on the speaker starts talking saying it’s time for bed or something. You don’t really know as you’re half asleep.
You feel Dae-ho softly guiding you off of where you were sitting and the next thing you know you’re in your bed, Dae-ho softly putting the covers over you before kissing your forehead.
“Goodnight N/N, I love you..” He says softly.
You smile sleepily at the nickname and reply. “Goodnight Dae.. I love you too..”
The rest is a blur until you finally fall asleep.
The next morning starts the same as the first. Everyone lines up to get breakfast.
You get your food, actually hungry this time and open the tin container, immediately eating everything while sitting in your bed. Dae-ho is with the group but if you’re being honest you’re not in the mood to socialize this morning so he decided to give you some space. That is until the old woman, Geum-ja, came up to you again.
“How are you feeling?” She asked sweetly.
“Better…” You reply shortly.
She holds her tin of food in her hands as she looks down at your empty one before handing you hers.
“Oh- no no it’s fine really-“ you try to reason with her, not wanting to take food from her.
“Oh don’t be silly it’s ok… You need to eat more..” she smiles as she hands you her food.
You bow, very thankful because you’re really hungry. “Thank you- you really didn’t have too..”
“Don’t mention it” she gives you a smile before her son comes over telling her to not scare him like that.
You sit there awkwardly as they talk before the old woman waves goodbye to you and smiles. You wave back at her before eating the food she gave you.
Shortly after eating the speaker says that it’s time for the first game and to follow the guards. You remember what Gi-hun told your group last night, pick the triangle. Knowing what to do for this next game, you feel pretty confident but are still nervous.
You rejoin with your group as you guys walk towards the doors into the colorful room with stairs.
You all walk in silence before Dae-ho speaks up. “You feeling better?”
You nod and reply. “Ya… I was actually able to eat so I feel alot better”
Dae-ho smiles and keeps walking up the stairs.
Everyone gets to the door and when it opens, confusion fills the room.
“This is the dalgona game.. right?” you ask Gi-hun, really confused.
He sighs and looks at you. “I don’t know what this is..”
The familiar feeling of anxiety crept back up your body but you tried to keep it at shore as everyone walked into the room.
Everyone stayed by their group as the rules for the game came over the speaker. “This game is the six-legged pentathlon. A group of five will be connected by their ankles in the order of who is gonna play the first mini game to who is gonna play the last. The Mini games consist of the following: Dakji, flying stone, gonggi, spinning tops, and Jegi. The group will complete the five mini games within the time limit and cross the finish line or they will be eliminated.”
After the announcement everyone immediately started scrambling, trying to find groups but the five of you just stayed with each other, discussing who was gonna do what.
Since your the only girl in the group everyone excepted you to know how to play gonggi but you surprisingly didn’t. Luckily for you guys Dae-ho would play it with his sisters and he get really good at it. So that was settled. Now everyone else just had to figure out what they were gonna do.
“I can do Dakji…” you said softly, not really knowing what else to do.
Everyone agreed on it and the rest of the line up was decided. You do Dakji, Jung-bae does flying stone, Dae-ho does gonggi, Young-il does spinning tops, and Gi-hun does Jegi.
Your groups discussion was soon interrupted by the first two groups going up, who soon later both lost.
As the games went on the waiting players became more immersed in watching the other players play and started cheering them on, acting as an audience.
A group finally won and everyone started cheering and jumping but you felt a hand on your shoulder. “Don’t jump don’t jump” Dae-ho said softly, not wanting you to use your energy or stress your body out.
You listened to him but kept cheering along with everyone else. For a second, you forgot this was a game where you could die and you’re not here to have fun. That was until gun shots from the other side of the room interrupted everyone’s cheering and brought them back to the harsh reality.
After many games it was your teams turn. You were the second to last team to play therefore you had no audience which your group was sad about. You on the other hand had no room to be sad as you were internally freaking out.
Your group lined up and your ankles got chained together. Then. The game started.
Your group walks in sync to the first mini game, Dakji.
You grab square piece of paper and throw it as hard as possible at the one on the floor, and to your surprise, it flips over. The group cheered as the walked to the next mini game. Jung-bae grabbed the stone and threw it at the other one, hitting it perfectly. The group cheered again and continued walking to the next one. They all sat on the floor in-front of a small table as Dae-ho skillfully handled the gonggi. Everyone watches in amazement as they pass right away.
They get up and walk to the next mini game, spinning tops. Everything was going good until Young-il messed up. Over and over and over. At this point it just seemed like he was doing it on purpose cause how can you possibly throw it behind you?? (Bro was totally doing it on purpose 😭)
After some focusing and stressing he finally got it. But you guys had no time to spare. Everyone quickly made their way over to the next mini game. Gi-hun quickly kicked the Jegi four times before kicking it way in-front of him.
Your heart stopped. “This is it” you thought to yourself before you were yanked forward towards the finish line. Young-il had helped Gi-hun kick it last second.
You guys passed the finish line, all relieved until you saw the other team in-front of you get shot. Despite winning, this made your heart heavy, remembering the situation you’re still in.
After getting your ankles unchained all of you walked back into the room, getting stares from everyone and heating groans from people that wished more people would die.
You stayed silent the rest of the evening until the vote. Your group had collectively decided to vote for X this time. You were sure you were gonna make it out. Until you weren’t.
By the end of the vote, O won again. And even worse, Jung-bae voted for O. Your own team member!
After realizing you were gonna be stuck in this hell hole for another game you definitely didn’t feel like eating, you got up and went into the bathroom, getting sick thinking about what you saw today and just because of your pregnancy in general.
*knock knock* “are you ok y/n?” The old woman says from outside the stall door.
“Ya-“ you wipe your mouth off with toilet paper before flushing the toilet and coming out.
“Remember if you need anything don’t be afraid to ask me…” She says reassuringly.
“Thank you..” you give her a soft smile before going to wash your hands.
When you come out of the bathroom you go back over to your group and see Jung-bae sitting with them again. Dae-ho must’ve brought him back.
You sigh and sit with them.
Dae-ho looks at you concerned. “Are you ok did you eat”
“I can’t Dae…” you reply tiredly and lean on him once again.
“Cmon baby just a little…” he nudges you.
You force yourself to remember that you can’t be skipping meals now due to your baby, Before sighing. “Ok…”
You eat some of the food, the nausea surprisingly going away.
“Drink some water too..” Dae-ho reminds you.
You nod and drink your water, immediately feeling alot better, still leaning on him.
Your eyes become heavy and you distinctively hear the group talking about something to do with a fight but you don’t pay much attention and fall asleep on Dae-ho’s shoulder.
*time skip to night*
You wake up on a mattress on the floor, super confused, and look to your right and see Dae-ho sleeping under a bed on the mattress? 😭
You look to your left and see young-il and Jung-bae also under the beds on a mattress.
Confused, you sit up and see Gi-hun awake, just sitting there. You get up and walk over to him.
“I need to use the bathroom” you say quietly to him.
Gi-hun looks at you. “It’s too dangerous to go alone-“
“I’ll go with her” the old woman says from the bed above you.
You and the old woman go over to the bathroom, only to be refused entry by the guards. So the old woman being the baddie she is puts on a pretty convincing sob story before the guards finally let you guys in, another girl showing up behind you guys and asking if she should come too.
“Don’t worry she’s a woman” the old woman says and the other girl follows you guys into the bathroom.
You quickly go into a stall and just cry. You’re so scared and you just wanna go home. You wanna lay in your bed again. You don’t even care if you’re in debt you just wanna go home.
Your thoughts are interrupted by the old woman opening the door.
“Are you ok? Is your baby coming? Is it your stomach?” The old woman questions you worriedly.
“I’m so scared” you say crying more before she hugs you tightly.
“It’s ok..” she comforts you.
That’s the last thing that things feel like right now. “Ok”.
You calm down after a bit and she leads you back over to your bed.
You step in between Gi-hun and Jung-bae, who is now up, to get to your bed.
You notice the Dae-ho is literally half way on your bed so you just decide to use his arm as a pillow. He gets a little startled but immediately falls asleep after. You hold onto his arm in your sleep, him being the only way to comfort you in this hell. After a bit of thinking you slowly drift off to sleep, feeling a little better that you’re not alone in this.
a/n: thank you for reading this took absolutely forever! I want to make a part two so let me know if you guys would be interested!!
How their kid breaks their heart — Jujutsu Kaisean
( cw ) f!reader, fluff, domestic, kinda hurt/comfort but not really hehe just butt hurt husbands, breastfeeding
featuring. Gojo Satoru, Choso Kamo, Nanami Kento
authors note. I haven’t written anything in so long I think I forgot how to. Anyway, I love dilfs ❤️ JJK dilfs are my favorite thing ever.
CHOSO KAMO
Choso’s infant has been screaming for what felt like hours, he has a clean diaper, there aren’t any tags on his clothes that may be bothering him, he’s swaddled tightly, and he refuses to drink the lukewarm bottle Choso made him so that must mean he’s not hungry, right? Choso just wanted to be able to do this himself, take care of his baby, and not depend on you so much but when you step into your bedroom after returning home, he almost starts crying too. “I-I can’t-” He stutters, eyes wide as you make your way into your shade bed. “Hey, hey it’s okay baby.” You whisper as your hand moves to cup the side of his face. You lift his head and kiss him a few times before reaching for your baby. He continues to scream before you give him your breast. He settles down almost instantly. “He hates me.” Choso almost whimpers as he lays his head on your shoulder, the both of you looking down at the little boy. “No, he doesn’t, I promise you he doesn’t.” You say, reaching down to kiss his forehead. “I tried to feed him and he just turned his head and screamed, it felt like he was cursing me.” He grumbles, rubbing at the baby’s swaddled feet. “That’s because he it’s used to the bottle, he’d rather have a boob, rather suck the nipple than the bottle tip.” You explain to your husband. “Well, at least he takes at me in that regard.” “You’re disgusting.”
GOJO SATORU
“Daddy look, it’s Uncle ‘Guru!” Your daughter squeals as she grabs a photo from the pile on the floor between your little family. You guys were supposed to be making a scrapbook but Satoru and your daughter weren’t much of a help. “Yes, that is Suguru baby! That’s from when we were back in high school and look mommy’s there too” Satoru smiles at the photo. “Were you and Mommy married?” She asks with a smile on her face. “No, not yet—“ “I’m gonna marry Uncle ‘Guru!” She exclaims, looking at her father with a huge smile on her face as the thought infiltrates her mind. Satoru feels his heart sink into his stomach. This can’t be happening. “He’ll be the bestest husband in the whole world Daddy!” “What about me baby? Wouldn’t you rather marry someone like Daddy?” He whines trying to take this picture out of her hands. “Nope! I wanna marry Uncle ‘Guru! You’re too stinky.” She side-eyes him before going to sit next to you, picture still in hand. Satoru just stares at her, mouth slightly agape as she smiles down at the old picture. You lean over the scrapbook and pat your husband’s knee. “Well, ‘Toru that’s another one of our daughters that would rather marry Suguru. Better luck next time.”
NANAMI KENTO
“Come to Daddy!” “No come to mommy!” You playfully shove at Nanami’s shoulder. Your baby stares at you two from a few feet away with curiosity. You guys were doing that trend that was circling social media, set your baby across the room and see who they crawl to. “Daddy lets you eat some of his solid foods, come to me, sweetheart.” Nanami pats the floor, motioning for your baby to come his way. Your baby starts to crawl slowly, looking at both of you, questioning who he wants to crawl to. “Mommy has an endless supply of food on her right now, Daddy doesn’t have any on him! Come to Mommy!” You tap at the hardwood floors. Your baby seems to make up his mind then and rushes to you. Nanami frowns as you jump up and celebrate. He was certain you he would crawl to him. “Ha! I win you lose! Mommy’s the best!” You laugh and soon enough your son starts to laugh too and even though Nanami is a little hurt he can’t help but smile and join his little family’s celebration.
Teacher's Pet Baby
First Time
Cg!Professor!Wanda Maximoff x little!student!reader
Summary: You slip during class for the first time and it doesn't go unnoticed
Word count: 1.4K
Warnings: Age regression, mild anxiety, emotional vulnerability, fluff and comfort
Authors notes: After writing the first part this had started to come to mind so it was nice to get it all written out~
Also, to all the littles, seeing this, please tred lightly on this blog! This is my big 18+ blog, but I do have some little!reader fics. Everything is marked accordingly!
The first few weeks of class were nothing out of the ordinary—except for the way you found yourself drawn to Professor Maximoff. There was something about the way she spoke, how her voice carried both authority and warmth, that made you want to listen more intently. You were eager to impress her, to ask every question that popped into your head, just to see that soft smile she reserved for students who showed genuine curiosity.
You didn’t know what it was that made you crave her attention so badly, but you knew that every time she praised you, something deep inside you warmed, a feeling of safety and validation that you couldn’t quite explain.
Then, one day, as you flipped the page in your textbook, your eyes landed on the title printed in bold letters at the top:
Coping Mechanisms: Age Regression
Your stomach twisted immediately.
Two whole pages on the subject, defining it, explaining how it functioned as a response to stress or trauma. You barely heard Wanda begin her lecture, your mind spiraling as you felt yourself slipping, your fingers tightening around the edge of the book.
It wasn’t until you heard the soft laughter—quiet, but unmistakable—that the dread fully set in.
"People actually do this?" one student muttered under their breath.
"That’s so weird." Another scoffed, shaking their head.
Your breath hitched, and you had to blink rapidly to stop the tears from forming. They didn’t know. They had no idea that right here, in the same room, was someone who did—who couldn’t help it, whose mind sometimes reverted without warning. You wanted to shrink, to disappear, but before the panic could settle in further, Wanda’s voice cut through the murmurs, firm and unwavering.
"That’s enough," she said sharply, silencing the room in an instant.
All eyes snapped toward her, and you dared to look up. Her expression was serious, her usual soft demeanor replaced by something strict and protective.
"I expect professionalism in my class," she continued, her gaze sweeping over the students. "We are here to learn, not to ridicule others for coping mechanisms that are valid and often necessary for mental health." She let her words settle before adding, "If anyone here finds it difficult to show respect for psychological concepts that people actually experience, then perhaps this is not the right field for you."
Silence.
Your hands trembled slightly in your lap, but for an entirely different reason now. No one had ever defended you like that before. No one had ever made you feel like what you did—what you were—was okay.
Wanda’s gaze flickered to you for just a moment, softer now, like she knew. Like she had already pieced something together but wouldn’t call attention to it. Instead, she resumed her lecture, effortlessly guiding the class back on track, leaving you sitting there with a heart racing for a whole new reason.
From that moment on, you weren’t just drawn to Wanda Maximoff. You needed her.
As the lecture came to an end and you were trying to pack up Wanda called you over, "Have a good night everyone and remember to do the reading and get your assignment done for Monday's class! Oh and y/n please stay a moment. I'd like to discuss something with you."
Your heart was pounding so hard you were sure Wanda could hear it. You weren’t in trouble—at least, she didn’t sound upset—but you still couldn’t shake the nerves twisting inside you.
She had never asked you to stay after class before.
You stayed frozen, hands gripping the edge of your desk as you watched her move. But instead of standing over you like a professor scolding a student, she did something entirely unexpected—she walked to the door, locked it with a soft click, and then made her way over to you.
Wanda crouched down in front of your desk, leaning against it with an easy, open posture. Her smile was gentle, and when her warm eyes met yours, something inside you softened, though your body still trembled slightly.
"Hi, sweetheart," she murmured, her voice filled with nothing but kindness. "You're feeling pretty small right now, aren’t you?"
You swallowed thickly. It was impossible to hide, not when she knew, when she could see right through you. Words felt too hard, too big, so you just nodded, blinking rapidly as emotion threatened to well up in your chest.
"That’s okay, sweetie," she assured, her tone soothing as she reached out, resting a hand over yours for just a moment. "This was your last class, right?"
You nodded again.
"I have papers to grade," she continued. "You and I can stay right here, okay?"
Another nod. This time, accompanied by a tiny, shy smile.
Wanda’s expression softened even further. She stood up, her fingers reaching out to gently comb through your hair, the touch grounding in a way you didn’t even know you needed.
"You’re safe with me, Malyshka," she whispered.
While Wanda graded her papers you decided to draw, pulling out your crayons and drawing pad. Wanda let her eyes flick up every so often to watch you. Her expression softened as she saw you so concentrated, your tongue just poking out past your lips.
She wanted to giggle, but worried it might upset you so she held back, turning her attention back to her papers until she heard you get up, feet padding over to her. She looked up past her glasses.
"Yes sweetheart?" She asked softly, "Do you have something to show me?" You nodded eagerly and turned the page around.
Wanda let a warm smile tug at her lips as she examined the drawing, her heart melting at the sight of it. You had drawn yourself much smaller, hand held securely in hers, your features simple but unmistakably you. Wanda’s own figure was a little more detailed—her hair a mess of crayon strokes, her glasses perched delicately on her nose—but the most touching detail was the way your hands were clasped together.
Wanda ran her fingers over the crayon lines, her chest tightening in the best way as she admired your drawing. It was simple, childlike, but so full of love that it made her heart ache.
"You did such a good job, sweetheart," she murmured, looking up at you with a soft smile. "I love it, Malyshka."
Your lips curled up, eyes sparkling at her praise. You rocked on your heels, waiting, hopeful, and Wanda knew exactly what you needed. She set her papers aside, focusing entirely on you.
"Come here, baby," she said gently, opening her arms. "Come sit with Mama."
The second the word left her lips, she felt it—the way you froze. Your happy sway stopped, your hands clenched slightly at your sides. You blinked at her, uncertainty flickering in your expression as you searched her face.
"Mama?" you echoed, your voice barely above a whisper.
Wanda stayed perfectly still, giving you space to process. She hadn’t called herself that before, at least not out loud, though she had thought about it more times than she could count.
"Only if you want me to be, sweetheart," she assured softly, her voice steady, warm. "I would never make you do something you’re not comfortable with."
You shifted on your feet, fingers curling against the fabric of your sleeves. "But... do you want to be?"
Wanda’s breath caught for just a moment before she exhaled, nodding. "I do," she admitted, her hand resting gently on her knee, not reaching for you, just waiting. "I’d love to take care of you in whatever way you need."
You stared at her, the hesitation clear in your expression. But beneath it, Wanda could see something else—longing, hope, the deep desire for safety and care.
She kept her voice soft. "You don’t have to decide right now, Malyshka."
You bit your lip, shifting your weight from foot to foot before, slowly, you stepped closer. Wanda didn’t move, letting you take the lead, and after a brief pause, you finally climbed onto her lap, settling hesitantly against her.
Wanda wrapped her arms around you carefully, rubbing soothing circles along your back.
You stayed stiff for a moment before you melted into her, resting your head against her shoulder. A soft sigh left you as your fingers grasped at her sweater, holding onto her like you were afraid she might disappear.
Wanda pressed a gentle kiss to your temple, her lips brushing against your warm skin. "I've got you, sweetheart. Always."
And this time, you didn’t hesitate to believe her.
