I still think it's hilarious that according to my highschool creative writing class, the way to recognize something as my writing is to check how weird the names are lmao
And this was the excerpt I chose.
#this was because we did an activity that had us submit a small chunk of writing that the teacher printed out#then at random it was placed (if it was our writing it was switched up)#and we had to guess based on that who wrote it#and the whole class agreed my writing was identifyable by how i choose to name characters#but i hate doing basic or boring name lmao#i even tried getting something that didn't have an known character's names and still#i didn't think a cat named Cheddar was that weird but okay lol#though they considered my character's names at times to be 'weird' when really it just wasn't a basic white name#like sorry i wanna give my characters names from their culture lmao??#but i also have characters named Sauce and Chips so idk#btw the excerpt was from a fanfic i was writing lol
