Hey so if you haven't seen it already, the new "translation" is apparently just a rewrite of the original script. Except for Madarame's route and later parts of the game (SUPPOSEDLY) but I didn't play it so I can't verify

Anedoctal evidence for the JastBlue panel

From the team themselves:

Semi-related, there is anecdotal evidence that the "they/them" pronouns were approved by Nitro Chiral themselves during the panel below. A few people have said they heard it or read it from the JastBlue team (including me). I haven't went to find JastBlue talking about it but yeah, just extra clarification on it.

#slow damage #my real main issue with the og translation is just hasta la vista LMAO #the dogwhistle and rei's really stilted dialogue tipped me off as the translation being suspicious #also the team all being anonymous and one of them only played it a month ago?? what's the point!!#and the new rewritten one is so stilted eufhahhgh #i struggle making my translations less stilted but i think its hard when youre fitting en lyrics to music but thid is just lazy #and the rewrites were for narration parts which of course were gonna have more rewrites!!! its changing from third to first!!!#shouldnt the dialogue change too then? and with people coming out saying “ywah no this is the same script”
