I love how they're finally acknowledging Billy as both a Maximoff and a Kaplan. I hate how fast MCU Wanda stans jumped Billy for saying that Rebecca is his mom

So, the showrunner isn't really Jewish, because she didn't ethnically or religiously grew up Jewish. Joe Locke knew well enough that his role belonged to a Jewish actor. Don't fucking tell me this show isn't antisemitic towards Jews

Also making Billy Maximoff and Billy Kaplan two different people and not the same person. Okay, Marvel, go ahead and ruin yet another Jewish character

Whether or not, it's a performance. A Bar Mitzvah is still a sacred practice. A non-Jew actor doing it to act out a Jewish character, is still a form of cultural appropriation, because again, he's not Jewish to be doing a cultural practice
