the wintertime urge to write better endings for the absurdly grandiose live theater austen sequel spectacular you've been watching play out for the past four or five years...
#today's art adventure#the writers of one of my least favorite theatrical experiences brushed up against some wonderful ideas so very gently as they plummeted#and now for about a year I've been carrying around The Thoughts#less a real writing idea than a thing I scream about in the confines of my own head only#but if I could write it and if I did write it boy wouldn't it be a lovely tale that made sense to only me#also it would be extremely funny to be whiplashing between working on the pleasant finish of a romantic something-or-other#and the meatiest thing I've ever written#similar but actually completely different wintertime urge: devote all your mental weirds into a Meat Story
