So I got all ready he came and brought the alcohol which I was confused about because I thought we were going out, he then said we were going to drink first then get dinner and i suggested sushi which we was down for so we drank the hotel tequila with a chaser and I ended up getting pretty drunk fast...All I remember after that was walking to get sushi and in the restaurant he asks me to pay and i was like ok..so then they try charging my card and it declines so then he pays but then asks if i can cash app him...the rest of the night was a blur and woke up with throw up all over the bed, he had left and I tried reaching out to him to discover I had been blocked. I was so anxious because he told me how he wouldnt leave me, how i didnt want to drink alot especially not get blacked out but did...i tried calling him from private number and he finally unblocks me and messages me and goes "listen. I blocked you because you were talking to other men, thats so dirty, you were even trying to meet someone down here, i saw the dating app, the messages, i cant trust you, you really came here to hoe out, bye for good" then blocks me...im just so hurt he not only looked though my phone when i was drunk but sent himself money for the sushi while i payed for everything to go see him and waking up naked not remembering anything....The very reason I even had a dating app and was talking to other guys is because he doesnt treat me right and so i especially dont trust him...i could have died being blacked out

"Beautiful area, I gotta say."

"It is. Sometimes, it has its days. Still can't hate it though." He nodded. You had both pushed your carts towards the cashiers at this point, and you took notice of the ring on his finger. Bummer, you jokingly thought. That would have been fun. You internally chuckle at Ryujin's hoe ass ways rubbing off on you, but at the same time, could you really expect a man like him to be single? Fucking kidding me? "Did you grab everything you needed for you and your wife?" You don't know what takes over you, but the question is already out there. No take-backs.

"Uh," He chuckles nervously as he scratches the nape of his neck. "Fiancé, so not entirely there yet. But yes, yes I did. Did you?"

"Yeah, I'm done. Or, I should be, so I don't grab more things that I don't need." You pointed down at your cart. You both fall in line together, with Jin going first. Afterwards, he grabs his bags and lingers around at the end of the cashier.

"Let me grab those for you and walk you to your car."

"I got it."

"No, I got it." He insists as he gently grabs the bags from you. "Besides, it's dark out."

"Thank you, I really do appreciate it. But, I don't wanna take more time out of your day. I am a grown woman who can handle it, you know?" You chuckle.

"Yeah, I know. And you're also a grown woman who lives in this world and it's close to 9pm." He looked down at you as he continued to follow you to your car on the other end of the lot. What a gentleman. Honestly, everything you told Jimin earlier stands and this man was doing nothing but proving your ass right. He could really get it.

When you finally arrived at your car, he placed your bags in your trunk and shut it close.

"What's next, gonna make sure I get home safely?" You joked, but you were silently cursing yourself because your flirting had been a little rusty and this was not it, miss.

"I mean, I would if you really needed me to for safety reasons."

"Well, that's sweet, but I'll be alright. Thank you, though." He nodded.

"See you in class." He shuts your door and winks before walking off. With that, you had driven off to grab your dinner and head home. What the hell just happened? It seemed like the most basic thing, but you couldn't shake off how sweet his gestures were tonight. Damn, has it really been that long since you've gotten any type of action?! You couldn't help but think of his fiancé and how she must be so happy to have someone like him by her side. Not gonna lie though, you feel a little heartbroken about it.

"He's engaged." You drank a huge gulp of your wine as you facetimed with Ryujin. She snorted and shook her head. "Our fine piece of eye candy is engaged."

"Y/N, I love you, and he was such a gentleman for that, but you're such a hoe." She laughed louder. "Are you fucking kidding me right now? He is a grown ass man with a fiancé and he's our teacher! You need to stop having these impure thoughts."

"Shush, it's harmless. I was just entertaining myself with the what if's."

You pick me up, or I you, and we go out to dinner. I’m down to eat or try anything, so I let you decide where we go—unless you’re someone who’d prefer I pick, then I’d probably go with Mexican, Sushi, Thai, or Vietnamese (phö specifically lol). After that we’d go to a local bookstore or mall and just roam and talk about stuff we like and show each other things we find. After that we could just drive around and eventually find a good place to enjoy the sunset together—maybe we could get ice cream or drinks along the way. If neither of us are tired and we enjoy each other’s company, then we could go back to one of our places and either play video games, watch a movie, or just chat (maybe a mix of all three lol). If there’s clear mutual interest and you include some cute body contact during the night (e.g., hand on my leg, holding hands, arm around my shoulder, shoulder rub, etc.) I will more than likely melt 🥴 And if we both had a good time, hopefully there’d be a date #2 💕

Back in my heyday of anime watching (middle to high school) back when anime on the internet was so much easier to access 🥺 there was still a relatively small collection on Crunchyroll, so there’s some shows I’ve watched and really enjoyed that I never hear anyone talk about. One is Beast Player Erin.

I’m having trouble even knowing where to start with this one! Based in more of an era of kingdoms—pre-Industrial Rev. I believe—the world is fairly mundane with a few exceptions. While I don’t recall any blatant magic, there are a few magical experiences. More importantly though, there are two beasts in this world: the Toda and the Oju.

Erin grows up with her mother in a village where the Toda are raised (if I remember correctly) and her mom is the beast trainer of the village. The Toda, which are large semi-aquatic reptiles with dragon-like faces, are trained by the two warring local kingdoms to fight each other (Idk if the mom raised them for this tho).

Eventually, as she gets older, Erin finds herself at a place where Oju are trained. Oju are winged beasts like griffons but with a wolf’s head. The Oju, know as Royal Beasts, are also trained to fight in the war. As a trainer of Oju, Erin eventually finds herself intertwined with the war and... well I don’t want to spoil much else 😜

I do have to admit it is a somewhat slow anime and isn’t “top tier” or the shit for everyone. But it did make me cry only a few episodes in. So... 👌🏼

Now for the other Anime!!!

Glass Mask is one of my all time favorite anime. It’s about this basic girl who gets shat on by everyone and her mom’s like “Maya why are you so dumb and worthless” *starts sobbing* cause the only thing she’s good at is memorizing scenes on TV and perfectly reenacting them 😩

So at some point she gets noticed by this mysterious older woman who is opening up an acting studio and eventually is convinced to join cause she has ✨the it factor✨

Eventually she becomes rivals with this rich dynasty prodigy child and they’re both so cunt 💕 (honorary)

But just wait til you meet Mr. Purple Roses, Maya’s secret fan/admirer who helps her occasionally along her journey.

And honestly I stan the performances they do. Like this show is how I’m familiar with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wuthering Heights, Little Women, that play about the feral girl, and even the story of Hellen Keller!!

Omg and the drama of the impromptu one-woman play! And then old bitch sticks her hand out and people in the audience be SHOOK!!! And OMG then there’s the school performances she does, and one she got the role of dumb bitch but then she cried during the play and the audience shit themselves they were so STRICKEN!!! And that other one as the queen’s understudy where she darted eyes at a bitch and sis PISSED herself on stage!! And bitch there was even a scene where this bitch played a doll. And then there’s the time she fully ate dirt cause she a bad bitch!

In this show the tea isn’t spilt, it’s full on thrown. Hoes be blind af going to the movies and dying in their seats. Yes there is a questionable romance that I had weird feelings about, and yes she does get drugged and framed to ruin her career, and yes a hoe almost falls off a bridge and the other hoe’s like “but what if I don’t help her 👀”, and yes she is trained to act by getting thrown into a shed in the middle of winter, and yes she does join a troupe with a kinda genderfluid girl. And YES!! You Should watch it 😘

he has three pupperino’s. all as adorable as each other, snickerdoodle is his golden lab and often ppl shorten it down to snickers, butterscotch is his dapple daschund pup, shortens the name to scotchie often. toulouse is his fancy toy poodle boi, shortens the name down as toto. if u are on the shortened name basis with his pups then u can consider urself one of his close pals. 

he’s actually adopted by his aunt but she raised him like she was his mother so that is what he considers her, she’s on his mother’s side but they are half-siblings. in terms of first name reasoning as well she just liked eunha as a name and didn’t even think about how it is traditionally for a female, she liked that it meant gift from heaven so it stuck. his father is still around, he’s just quite elderly so it felt like a better living situation for him to be raised primarily by his auntie. unfortunately his mother has passed on but no tragic story, she just went peacefully in old age. 

he dyes his hair quite often, it’s currently like a really pastel blue with black streaks consistently throughout like lil ones so it looks super cool. but he’s also had it be a more electric blue, lilac, and a duck egg kinda faded silvery blue. it’s naturally dark brunette. has brown eyes kind of a hazel hue. 

his style is kinda androgynous ig?? he just lives for soft retro fashion, lots of color in his wardrobe but also lots of tapered short and t-shirt fits frequented, sweater vests, rolled up jeans, high skater boi socks, soft jumpers with shirts, shirts in bright colours or satiny texture worn over plain white t-shirts, cardigans, pastel denim jackets, jeans with printed patterns on like clouds, flowers etc, favors yellow and blues. sometimes does eye makeup, occasionally wears heels bc he’s a baddie or super heeled boots/chunky shoes.

Super easy though, 12 episodes for each. And techincally, 2 left for Sk8, 7 left for Wonder Egg, and 7 for Bungo. Season 2 of Moriarty just started. 

currently craving: Oh god so much. Since I have been in England, I have been craving things that I can only find in the States. So like grits and lemon pepper wings. I have also been craving sushi but can’t go anywhere to get it. I was suppose to get some for my birthday but that was October and that won’t be happening before I leave for sure.

lyra would tell you it's cheap whiskey and gas station sushi and hope county street style, but honestly, she just desperately wants to be liked and loved and accepted, so rejection in any form -- from anyone, even those sinners and nonbelievers, even her sworn enemies -- wounds her. (she’s really out here at 3am like john? john are you up? because i don't think hurk sr likes me, he was extremely rude today while i was threatening him in his home)

having said that, it doesn't normally affect her -- she doesn't care or think enough of most people for it to have a lasting impact, and it just increases animosity and disdain where it already existed. when it is someone she cares about, though, or comes from someone who’s meant to care about her, it's emotionally devastating.

the most extreme instance came in the form of her parents disinheriting her when she was 16 years old. it was a formality more than anything else -- she was nearly 17, she’d run off the year before and cut off all contact -- and in many ways she’d expected or even attempted to deliberately provoke it, since it would force them to acknowledge what she’d always known, that they didn't see, know, or care about her. it was impossible for them to love her; her father was a narcissist who prized her insofar as he could project onto her as a version of himself, and her mother was so far gone on designer drugs she was apathetic to nearly everything else, her unwanted trophy daughter most of all.

still, receiving confirmation in the form of a notice that caught up to her while she was crashing at one of her favored ex girlfriends' family home -- that they went to that effort just to ensure she knew they no longer recognized her as their daughter -- gutted her. later she’d say that it was what she’d wanted, that they were already dead to her, and thank fucking christ she wasn't a member of that sick miserable family any longer. in actuality, she locked herself in the guest bedroom, curled into herself on the floor, and cried for three days straight.

she doesn't get cheered up, honestly, she just has to go through straight through it. if there's an action she can take or vengeance she can exact somehow, she’s eventually able to drag herself out of the comatose state she goes into when she’s grieving; lyra feels everything very deeply, so she’s physically crippled by emotional pain in a way that she never is by external injuries. she killed seven men before she came to hope county. the first was a known predator at the strip club where she worked when she was 18 -- she propositioned him and then stuck a knife in his throat.

she fully believed that she was acting in defense in all seven instances, albeit not necessarily her own. each of the men she killed were especially dangerous or vile predators/abusers/otherwise corrupt and exploitative who were considered untouchable -- to the law, maybe, but not to her. (she never killed the relatively harmless philanderers who made up most of her targets; she just seduced, robbed and humiliated them).

her last kill before she flees to montana -- the reason she flees to montana, in fact -- is the man in idaho, and it’s a huge fucking mistake, one that almost gets her caught. it’s messy and impulsive and she does it because she’s shaken up and triggered af from her recent vegas trip. she’s fully spiraling. like this can't be it, this can't be all there is, this can't be all i am, this can't be all that's left for me, and part of her Wants to get caught on a subliminal level; some part of her Wants to die just to have an end. she’s tired. she’s jaded. she was at that gas station where she found him in the first place buying two bottles of tequila, but then she could just Feel the way he watched her and kind of hovered over her and she just. left the bottles on the counter and followed him out the door and stalked him for deadass fifty miles until he finally pulled off at a truck stop.

that and her first kill mirror each other in that they weren't calculated and she did it in a Rage.  she was purely driven by anger and hatred and adrenaline, she was shaking, her body just completely Flooded itself and so honestly? she’s a little hysterical about it -- both times she started to sob at first and then she just. laughed, she couldn't stop laughing, and that’s the only time she’s truly afraid of herself. usually she doesn't feel anything but relief and vindication when she kills; she’s doing it for a reason and she believes she’s justified so she doesn't feel any haunting guilt. she’s like this is what i am, this is what i can do, this is how i can be good even though everyone has always told me i was born bad -- maybe i was but maybe i can use that, maybe i can do what others can't

obviously in the holy war of 2018 she kills Hundreds of people, both heretics and defecting (or potentially defecting) peggies. she doesn't feel remorse about any of that tbh, she never will. she was protecting her family, it's not a question to her, it's not something she has to think about

lyra loves the summer best. she always has. as a girl,  summers were when she was home and could at least pretend her family wanted her, and if nothing else, she could go run free and become a menace on the island. she first ran away in the summer, she found her home in hope county in the summer, she fell in love in the summer.

she’s a daughter of spring, she was born mid-march, and she does love it -- she’s a flower hoe, she likes watching the world come back to life and the smell of blossoms in the breeze and the crisp air in the mornings

DISASTEROUS FAMILY DINNER

Crossing the street and running his fingers through his damp hair, Marshall never found himself so angry at forgetting an umbrella. He didn’t notice how tense he was until he felt a steady hand resting on his head, brushing his dark bangs out of his eyes. “You seem nervous. It’s just dinner, love. And your family has met me before.” The younger couldn’t help but to let out an exasperated sigh as it seemed his boyfriend didn’t understand the dangerous state their relationship would be in if this dinner didn’t go well.

“No, you met my parents. And that was over cheap sushi and they were both called in to work halfway through lunch. This is when you meet my family. When you SEE my family on their terms. Dinners like this are a big deal for them, it’s huge they wanted you to attend. Yes you had a meal where you saw them eat like normal human beings but my hoe of a brother wasn’t there, trying to flirt with you because you’re close enough to breathe the same air as him. Or my uptight sister who is the pride and joy of the family yet also manages to not be good enough as a literal IDOL for our home country, just because she writes controversial feminist anthems that clash with my parents’ morals. You didn’t have to hear my dad evaluate you by testing your knowledge of Korean politics, or see my mom down her third glass of wine in the span of five minutes and make suggestive comments that are anything but appropriate and-“ Ryder chuckled then, causing his boyfriend to trail off on his rant and narrow his eyes as he pouted up at him, which only seemed to make him laugh harder.

“Babe, it’s just dinner. Let’s just make the most of this, together, okay?” He smiled, leaning down to place a quick kiss to his love’s lips before breaking away to knock on the door, Marshall squeezing his hand perhaps a little too tightly as it opened and his father stepped aside to let them enter.

“A pleasure to see you again, sir.” Ryder greeted, giving his father his usual charming smile.

“It’s nice to see you again as well Ryder.” He replies stiffly, his eyes drifting down to his tattoo that was partially visible through his soaked dress shirt. “Please remove your shoes and come to the table, my wife, Min-ji was about to start serving our meal for the evening.” Just then his phone went off, a token cellphone jingle ringing through the house as he stepped further into the main room, checking the caller ID. “Oh, I need to take this. Please excuse me.” He mumbled and then left the room abruptly.

His mother was next to approach the pair, the scent of red wine becoming overwhelming as she drew near, eyeing Ryder up and down. “So good to see you again, hun. Looks like the gym has been treating you well, Magic Mike.” She hummed in a sickly sweet way that made Marshall’s hands curl into fists at his sides. But he underestimated Ryder’s boldness as per usual, the man giving her a confident smile.

“Nice to see you again as well Mrs. Kim. And yes, so lucky to have a gym so close to home. I know it’s predictable by now but as a gay man in th 21st cetury I make a habit of keeping my myself in shape.” The exaggerated flex he did was just adorable and he had to contain a laugh as she wrinkled her nose in distaste, walking back to the kitchen, wine glass in hand. The blaring Queen song at the top of the stairs only grew louder as a tall boy descended dressed in an outfit that was only a little calmer than a luxurious nightgown. The moment his eyes fell on Ryder his lips quirked into a devilish smile and Marshall hoped there was a way for Ryder to smooth this over once again. Emphasizing he was gay wouldn’t work so well with turning off Jackson.

“Marshall why didn’t you tell me you were bringing over your beefcake of a boyfriend for dinner? I’d have changed into something cuter. I think LEATHER would have been an appropriate choice tonight.” It’s dripping with suggestive undertones and he debates running out the front door before Ryder surprised him yet again.

“Leather does look nice. Especially around little Marshy’s neck. I don’t know how I got so lucky with this adorable little boyfriend of mine. He’s perfect in every way.” Marshall was relieved his parents weren’t in the room to witness that and his cheeks burned at the unexpected praise.

Jackson rolled his eyes, his smudged eyeliner more visible then as he gripped the landing. “Whatever toots. Give me a ring when you’re interested in a REAL piece of ass, not just some gender confused twink.” Marshall couldn’t help but to snag his lip under his teeth, biting it as his nerves flooded him for a moment. He knew Jackson was experienced, far more confident too. It WOULD make sense for him to go after his brother if he grew bored of him someday. But there was his boyfriend squeezing his hand and ushering him into the closest bathroom. The kiss he surprised him with made his toes curl in his pale pink Mary Janes. He broke away looking up at him confused as his large palm cupped his face delicately.

“Don’t pout baby, remember you’re all I ever wanted. My perfect baby boy. None of that could get to me, have some faith in me darling.” His chest filled with warmth as he moved in to hug his boyfriend tightly around his waist, head resting against his broad chest as his bunny ears twitched affectionately.

“I’m sorry for doubting you. I just... when I said they were a lot I didn’t even expect it to be THIS intense I- you-“ A finger was pressed to his lips as he pulled away.

“Don’t worry about it doll. We’re here, we’re together and I’ve dealt with people way worse at work. Put on a smile, okay bunny? And hey, if you feel that bad about it maybe you can suck me off in the wardrobe later tonight-“ Marshall snorted a laugh, shoving him playfully, not surprised when he didn’t budge. Damn him for being so big and strong. Making him feel little in the best possible way.

“I love you, ya but goof.” He giggled, hearing his parents voices heighten as he assumed his sister had walked in, always the family favorite. As he kissed him there in the hallway bathroom, hip pressed against the custom engraved sink he was positive that he’d fallen for the most amazing man in the world. And he would be sure to make him aware of his appreciation everyday for the rest of their lives.

“Come on hun, something smells good and we can’t hide away in the bathroom forever. Let’s get this dinner over with. Together.”

He never got tired of the way Ryder made his heart skip a beat.
