augh peanut butter is less fuzzy today but he's swimming really erratically and resting on the bottom of the tank more than he should. jelly is still MIA. if both my goldfish die i *will* cry about it

when you buy a pet you're basically making a promise to the pet "i will take care of all of your needs" and i feel like it's my fault they got sick :( i don't actually know why they did and neither did the aquarium store employees. the water has never tested badly and i am very precise with how much i feed them. there's snails and plants and the danios are all fine so idk :(

#ive had pets die of old age before and when i was REALLY young i think my mom tried to keep hamsters that didnt make it #but my fishtanks are the first pets ive had where im solely responsible for their upkeep #and the goldfish i interact with more directly than all the other fish except betta o rourke #so im. attached.#and i did more research for this tank setup than ive done for my other tanks #fishblr #newt is a fish dad #newt needs a text post tag #animal death /
