Thinking about Mary-Anne picking up the fact that Jamie is hard of hearing without them ever telling her. There's little things, like the way they position themself by the gramophone, or the way they don't pick up a knock on the door...

...but really, it's rather quite evident the times Viola drops a plate on the floor and there is zero commentary from a nearby room to the sound of the shattering.

Of course, Mary-Anne would never bring up such a thing. But perhaps she knocks on the door just a bit louder, perhaps she's always certain she's standing in near range when informing on an itinerary. Just little moments of adjustment, to be sure.
