We are only allowed to have one character or couple drama free at a time. And if we can’t come up with a plausible way to create discord or havoc, we’ll just do some stupid shit instead!

Spend several seasons showing the deep strong bond between Eddie and Christopher. Gavin’s family moves? Just make it something dumb..but fast! I know let’s have him get mad at his dad and ask to move in with his grandparents!! Never mind he’d never do that!

The amount of psychological trauma they have inflicted on Maddie. The near death experiences of Chimney. Jesus. Just what tf?

Hmmm. Karen and Hen..the fans would revolt if we broke them up. So let’s go after their kids!! And we can’t make it about them being gay! Let’s create this over the top villain Councilwoman Ortiz. Who’s the mother of that drunk coked up dude from the accident. But the reason has to be complete bullshit, totally against character out of left field BULLSHIT. Like they should start out the episode great and about 80 percent in..wait! Let’s also make him the SAME Tommy Abbie from season one was engaged to before she started banging Buck! And then let’s make Tommy who is so into Buck it’s palpable, dump him because he’s afraid of getting his heart broken! Even though it’s one of the most tired, overdone, stupid tropes ever!!

once again there's hyenas here, so they were previously ‘good’? Mufasa says “We are all one” and there's hyenas right in the background...

concluding points:

overall this film has a very interesting point; Mufasa is not royal blood, and he took Taka's right to the throne, but there would be no throne to be had without Mufasa. there would be no Taka without Mufasa, because it is Mufasa's spirit that saved their lives and what makes him rightful king. this reminds me of how Vitani becomes Lion Guard leader because of her spirit, not her origins. it's incredibly interesting how they handled this.

in my opinion, Mufasa and Taka could have just been biological brothers all along but my guess is that the writers thought that would be too boring since everyone already knows that they are? i've also seen some theories that they did this so Kovu can be Scar's biological son. idrk though, because the whole point of Kovu is summed up in his line “He wasn't my father, but he's still part of me” which ig directly reflects Mufasa and Taka's brotherhood despite blood.

to conclude, i do think this movie is good on its own, but as a TLK fan it does not impress me more than the satisfaction of certain scenes (see: Rafiki and Kiara, Kiara having a baby brother in the movies now, and other smaller details). however, if Disney are planning to make a Live Action TLK2, i do believe that this movie was a good choice to come before it, although the timing would be weird - they would have released a prequel and then a sequel, but whatever. my only hope for this movie is that we get TLG references in a Live Action TLK2 -

i don't enjoy the live action and i wish Mufasa was 2d animated. there are many scenes where the animation/rigging looks sloppy (such as: when Mufasa and Taka skid to a halt at the cliff's edge). however, if Disney are making more TLK films, i look forward to more references regardless. content is content. still, if we're getting more content after TLG, then the diehard fans deserve better. and we also deserve Disney not being a fucking awful company. friendly remember to pirate this movie if you're watching it

I just really need to rant about Green Day and Billie Joe Armstrong right now. I know that so many fans feel so deeply connected to their music, and I'm not the only one. But I'm gonna go ahead and say my piece. So many of their songs just punch me in the gut, stab me twisting the knife, like wtf. That's just by the feeling of the music, with all the instruments, who knew fucking power chords held so much emotions, its insane. Then come the lyrics, I love it how Billie Joe just says such honest things, even if it's through metaphor, it just feels so real and like what I'm going through. A lot of songs I find are very cringey in the way they speak about mental health, but not with Green Day. Fucking blows my mind. Geniuses. This rant was sparked by me listening to the demo of Just Another Year on repeat. The Death of St. Jimmy was brutal before, now its so much more brutal and I want to, and have sobbed. What the hell is wrong with me? These songs make me feel so deeply. Even ones that I have no connection to lyrically I feel so much. Even Macy's Day Parade, which is about consumers or something like that, makes me want to sob. At the Library makes me want to sob. Pulling Teeth makes me want to sob. Outer Planets & Affliction: What destroys a man.

gonna talk abt a much darker topic today bc i feel like it and it's absolutely fascinating to me from a very morbid perspective (which happens a lot 4 me)

im gonna start this off by saying this is mostly focusing on extreme cases/what Could happen due to outer planet affliction, none of this is definite if u have afflicted outer planets bc it depends on the severity of their affliction and how many good counter aspects u have to them that help u heal!! :)

to start, the outer planets to me are Saturn to Pluto, so let me give u a quick rundown of what I think these planets are responsible for when they're heavily afflicted:

Saturn - Destruction of the will, the snuffing of one's inner, driving fire.

Uranus - Destruction of the mind, losing your cognitive function, going insane.

Neptune - Destruction of the spirit, loss or lack of intuition, feeling lost within your own life.

Pluto - Destruction of the body, the vessel decays and lacks the strength to repair itself.

i wanna say as well that all of this essentially came to me in a vision from god, i genuinely had no basis in my head initially, i was just rambling to myself in my head and all of this clicked and then it genuinely made sense and i even had evidence to back it up, so i wanted to post abt it because i love dark stuff like this (my blog name isn't twisted astrology for no reason- i mean like the reason was bc it was a play on twist and twisted transistor by korn But yknow it gains reasons as i go on-)

let's go over why each planet destroys what they do:

Saturn destroys the will because it rules over time and persistance- Capricorns are more often than not very driven people, Saturn grounds them and gives them the stability and willpower to see things through. A strong Saturn is often manifested as a very powerful driving force, as the planet often acts an incredibly crucial pillar, if not the foundation in a person's chart.

Uranus destroys the mind because it's the higher octave of Mercury. It rules over innovation and change, even higher thought. Okay so. You've heard me talk about Symbiosis and its connections with Rhine and Albedo.

But. I recently refound another series that ALSO gives me insane Rhine and Albedo vibes.

It's a series of songs, not yet complete, called Qualia Automata, by Team 6x111. Starts with Reckless Battery Burns, continues with End-World Normopathy, and keeps going with Lamentations. Hasn't yet ended, so that's it for now, but.

The story follows Tamari, a robot powered by AI that was created by Fayrouz, and is coded so complex that he literally has human emotions. Problem is, Fayrouz treats him like a machine and then he eventually runs away when he starts generating traumatized responses. Fayrouz then makes Mariyam, a second automaton whose emotions are purposely dulled, and is considered a "successful" model.

Now later on in the series Tamari goes a little crazy and ropes Mariyam into helping him find alternate timelines where Fayrouz actually loves him (Jesus Tamari wtf) (it's not working) BUT the connections with Tamari and Subject Two, Mariyam and Albedo, and Fayrouz with Rhinedottir is. Killing me.

(Actually when Reckless Battery Burns first released I got major Albedo vibes and posted a comment being like "hey maybe Tamari is a synthetic human of some sort" but I thought i was just biased and deleted it... Imagine the shock when it ended up being canon lmaoooo 😂)

But I'm listening to Lamentations rn which is from Fayrouz's perspective and. Some of the lines.

Best Comedy Award - Abbott Elementary - Season 2/What We Do in the Shadows - Season 5

Again this year, the two funniest comedies with the most heart win the award. Special mention to Guillermo finally realizing that becoming a vampire is not really for him.

Best TV Show Award - Scavengers Reign - Season 1

A show that makes you feel like you are reading a Mobius album. Gorgeous to look at, within a vibrant world with the most hostile and fascinating fauna I've seen in a long time. Topped with touching and interesting characters. Can't wait for season 2.

it'd be one thing if gunter had your typical villain arc and having fun with this chapter all the way through, god knows i appreciate somebody who can go ham in an entertaining way.

(it's a pity the nohrian ones never really have that same emotional catharsis/closure that the hoshidan ones, either with garon or their own nameless mothers. gunter's really the only nohrian parent (figure?) around, and that's more with corrin specifically.

gunter's going into this confrontation genuinely thinking this is the betrayal that will break her. that's one of the reasons why he's so bitter.

he's thinking to himself 'no you won't, not with me :) ~' all sardonically. and holding that little poisonous resentment close to his chest with the fucking closet of all the others. again, anankos is less possessing him like a puppet and more about tweaking all of his most uncharitable resentments and bumping the intensity of those up.

and the man has. a fuck ton. of resentments.

anyway, everyone's all huddled by the next set of doors, saying the vallite king is behind them. (big ol' red flag by nintendo that it's somebody other than anankos, b/c why would the title suddenly change?)

they charge in to find the throne room (complete with stark throne) very empty.

then surprise attack fireballs, enter left.

(actually that's interesting, anankos obviously juiced gunter up enough that he can unleash some pretty potent magic divine shit. normally gunter has zero magic to save his life.)

fireballs target everyone but corrin and azura.

(really, you almost had them all fooled. in another world you could have wiped them out remarkably easily.)

also: note the emphasis on the royalty. you can practically hear anankos leaning down hard on his resentment of royalty to hear that menace of satisfaction.

So. Sometimes writing it out helps me solve the puzzle but I don't think that'll be the case today

Weirdness number 1: Mary Hurt, bapt age 14 (boxing day 1830, the same day as her brother who is 7yo) - born 1816, to George and Sarah

Weirdness number 2: They don't seem to get married until 1818, despite their children being born 1810-1823 and nobody being mentioned as illegitimate or "base born", it's always "George and Sarah his wife"

Unless. They got married somewhere else...

1810! In Isleworth?? That's a whole 30 mile away, wtf

Well, if we take Daniel as being of our George and Sarah, then that means Sarah was 3 months pregnant at the time of their marriage, which I suppose might be why they traveled, but that's still really an overnight journey - 12 hours walk, tho it could be 3-5 hours ride if they had horses or the money to pay for a coach

And if they weren't actual teenagers I don't see why they would need to travel tbh

So say they were roughly 20 when Daniel was born, that would make them roughly mid 30s when Francis was born (the youngest I can find for certain)

But then if you look for death records, that puts them born in the 1780s, which makes them late for Dan and late 30s/early 40s for Francis

But then death records can be a complete guess, and even were you to find a census record with themselves answering, that can be a guess - you could say "I'm in my 40s" and the census man could either write 40 or 45 as standard - I've seen pages where the entire list is multiples of 5 except the children, because someone is guessing or rounding up - and it is certainly not true that there would be a village with No births/baptisms whatsoever for 4 years straight and then 20 the following, jesus

And baptisms are not guaranteed to be the same year you were born, tho often that's commented on if you were older than a year

A man might be born in 1812, baptised in 1814, died in 1862, and have the death record call him 55 (because someone's gone ehh he looks like he's in his fifties idk) which would make him born in 1807 - and the only record I have would be the 1814 baptism in one place, and three censuses which may or may not give the county he was born in (1841), the actual place, the last place he lived before, or nearest town or larger village (1851), or the actual place, nearest town, or his kid's/somebody else's best guess (1861)

So, imagine: john winchester telling the young boys it's just like in a video game. Altering his speech to 'ganking' and 'icing' and every other itiration, to make it less intimidating for the boys. Bc 'killing' something feels wheighty and heavy. 'Ganking' something is a fun game

Okay this is the last update.

We get a touch of Brian protecting John but I wish there was way way more of these moments with all of them and with John.

Word for word recreation of the Jesus apology but honestly wish they just showed John breaking down and crying because Brian was hounding him with what if something happens to one of the others because of you.. I’ve always thought that would be way more interesting to portray.

(Does it feel slightly ridiculous to anyone else that Brian would’ve ever let his bf be in the same realm as his boys? I mean I know he got blackmailed a bunch of times but like.. idk)

Like they don’t have to be sleeping with each other for love to be there c’mon idk why it feels so scared of their relationship

What movie are they talking about? Yellow submarine? Or mmt??? I’m confused? MMT was Paul’s idea but then George says don’t make us cartoons? Did I miss something

Did eppy really have a gay butler? Okay big ole the Beatles are your family punctuation and yet they’re hardly together or intimate!! But we’ll hug and say all you need is love is for you… I could actually believe that if they had John come around on his own to the hospital or afterwards and be like eppy you know I love you (to represent the note) and actually express concern (would’ve loved to see Paul actually try and talk to him to represent his letter but have it go just as well as the letter went lmao)

Very funny to end on kind of a happy note? But then it’s like oh Brian died two months later… okay… sometimes I wish people actually showed the tragic death they love to just leave it there but I know lots of people don’t feel that way so it’s whatever but I would’ve like to see the Beatles be like wtf are we gonna do now .. I hope that’s in the Beatles biopic

Anyway let’s get to some final thoughts :

Obviously there would be something of a question of why directors kept leaving this production or getting fired who knows and I heard somewhere that they simply blamed covid for all the issues but there’s plenty of movies that finished amidst covid so I find it slightly hard to believe that’s the only reason. My feeling is it might have come down to how exactly they wanted to portray Brian/the Beatles. Mostly it reminds me of bohemian rhapsody where I know some people wanted to sanitize Freddy’s life and some didn’t (which lead to the previous actor leaving) and I can’t help but think there’s something similar here too. Idk what per se might have been the issue. Cause we see little moments of like slightly controversial lore being touched on (but not exploring) and then we see big chunks of things being completely skipped through which just makes you wonder… like there’s obviously some confrontation with the darkness in Brian’s life but then also this skating around kind of feeling i think that’s the biggest tell for the multiple directors thing and there’s just a weird middle ground left over thing happening (you also cannot convince me they were just afraid of getting sued because a movie was just made fully showing trump SA-ing his wife. And it’s not like they’re using their music so there’s no reason to be overtly concerned about anything they could show in the movie, i think this is simply an ideology thing. Someone was just touchy about something imo)

Honestly this reminded me the most of birth of the Beatles weirdly and part of me would just rather watch that cause at least there’s that one scene where John really shows care towards eppy.
