Part 2
Anxiety, like the crawling of silent bugs, had eaten at your mind all evening, morphing into worry, what ifs and over speculations throughout the darkest hours of the night. As for the reason behind such agitation, it stemmed from the temporality Sabo had shared with you — two to five weeks before all fell apart. Two would prove hard to change the mind of his hard driven person, to convince him would require harsh, grand gestures. Five would be plenty, enough to slowly weave your way into his life and hopefully his heart. As for three, the temporal middle ground would result in a mixture of the two. However all three kept hidden the similarity of no guarantee towards the desired outcome.
Morning had come, as usual to start the timer of your day -and responsibilities- with no regards for your mood. Yesterday, after your mother had come to fetch you both in the garden, you had bid farewell to Sabo and his family, his demeanor rather cold despite the fidgeting and amiable look you gave. He had only shut down the idea of you accompanying him in his business, but not that of leading a double life. Therefore, there was hope. A hope which you had carried with you all afternoon but, through its polishing had gifted you in return a sleepless night.
You darkly grumbled at the golden rays seeping through your velvet material curtains, shifting under your silk blankets, internally wishing for time to slow its pace to allow you more chances to forge a path through Sabo's resolution. All you needed were opportunities, excuses to create a shared meeting with him.
Nevertheless, the voice of your lady’s maid came to stir you away from the abyss of your mind,  prompting you out of bed, with much reluctance from your part, and aiding you into yet another stifling  gown. A half up, half down updo was tied on your head with a ribbon, modest makeup applied to your face and perfumed sprayed around you like one would to a flower.
With your beautification from night to morning completed, you heaved your first sigh of the day, straightened your back in a resolute manner and left behind all traces of an insecure mind to be replaced with the expected nature of a princess; kind, loveable but also clever and quick-witted. Even after all this had been drilled into your soul, you hated the idea of parting from your room, where you could allow your thoughts and behavior to run free, to instead step into the constant raging fire of the castle.
But time wasn't so kind, with its advance it pushed you over the door frame of your chamber and into the lavish corridors to reach the dining room. Inside, you found your mother, your king of an older brother and your two youngest siblings, a twinning pair of boy and girl whom you envied the abundance of freedom and lack of responsibility rather often.
You gave your greeting and sat. The mundane act stirred from you a bored expression as you ate, giving comments here and there to contribute to the family chit chat until the words of your brother harnessed your attention.
“We're to hold a ball at the end of the week,” he announced nonchalantly, taking a pause to sip from his drink while the news flew over the table. At his words your mind had already pinpointed the first guest to invite.
“Cool, what's the occasion this time?” Your youngest sister cooed from your side in excitement.
“In honor of our sister getting engaged,” he gave you a warm smile which you returned rather sheepishly. If your mind wasn't racing with disaster possibilities you would have felt flattered at his gesture.
“Eh, you're finally getting married and getting out of here aren't ya?” The youngest boy smirked from the other side of the table, enticing you to roll your eyes at him.
“Yes, I suppose I am,” you sarcastically responded to him, and at his snicker you finally shot him daggers while feeling the spoiled fruit of your anxiety.
“We'll announce her engagement to Sabo during the event. Invitations are to be sent tomorrow,” your older brother poke, bringing back the conversation on track.
At this, your mind jumped at the opportunity that presented itself on a silver platter. “May I deliver the invitation to my betrothed and his family?” You asked, hoping no one would find an inconvenience in you going.
Thankfully, your mother seemed of an equal mind at the idea. “Why not? It will be the perfect chance to give them a visit. We shall choose a gift for them today and you are to head there tomorrow.”
Oh how you wanted to jump at her neck and thank her for being so supportive. Instead you beamed, showcasing her a full teeth smile, thickening the conversation with ideas of gifts and invitations design.
---------
The following day arrived, sharp on time and quickly dwindling away into early afternoon. With a mixture of jubilation and anguish at facing Sabo for the first time in two days, you boarded a carriage. Alone in your trip, you focused mainly on the flashing scenery rather than your thoughts to keep a composed control over yourself. You weren't sure what to expect from this brief intermission at his house, but still you believed some uninterrupted time together would do more good than harm.
Under no delay did you reach the household in question, stepping out to be led into a drawing room to wait, ultimately meeting the arrival of stunned, yet zealous faces of the couple who welcomed your sudden visit with pompous warmth.
“Your highness, to what do we owe the honor?” Outlook greedily rubbed his hands together.
You maintained a steady gaze over them. “I come to bring you a gift,” the valet that had accompanied you inside holding the parcel in question went to hand over the package to Outlook.
“My, you didnˋt have to!” Didit exclaimed in delight, visibly pleased and greedily eyeing the packaging.
Even if the reality remained that the gesture was done out of obligation and procedures, disgust swelled inside you at the sight of the true character overflowing from the couple. You were raised with modesty and seeing such a tainted display of emotions unnerved you. Refusing to acknowledge their glee, you continued on another note. “I also came bearing an invitation for a ball that is to happen later this week. My engagement to your son is to be revealed to the masses there.” You curtly added, forcing yourself to keep eye contact.
Once again, the couple rejoiced as you placed down an invitation on the table. “What wonderful news, we will be sure to attend,” the man spoke and you gave a rigid smile.
Now that formalities had been cast aside, you felt the speed of your heart accelerate at the true purpose of your visit. “May I deliver the news to Sabo myself?” You inquired to the couple.
They glanced at each other, forcing your heartbeat near cardiac arrest. “Unfortunately we're afraid Sabo is away at the moment…” Didit spoke in a small voice.
It felt as if an invisible weight had been dropped on your shoulders — you had rehearsed yourself day and night for this moment and he wasn't here? To be honest you did find it odd how his parents were the only ones to greet you. “Where is he?” Your tone neared shaking, leaving you with no choice but to intertwine your fingers until your knuckles turned pale.
Outlook shook his head. “We're afraid we don't know. Sabo has a tendency to… slip out to God knows where.” Seeing as you blankly stared following his statement, he quickly waved his hands about as if it was a trivial matter. “It is no need for concern your highness, he is an honorable gentleman.”
It seems clear that both parents were in the dark as to Sabo's business. But his whereabouts and occupations weren't your primary concern, meaning the prevention of the dissolvement of your engagement. “I can wait,” you abruptly voiced aloud before your thoughts had sorted themselves out.
“A-are you sure, your highness? We have no idea when he will be back,” Didit asked, most likely more concerned with your overall impression of their son than your well-being in waiting.
“I don't mind waiting until night time if I have to,” you affirmed. The couple refused to defy your authority and instead awkwardly allowed you to make yourself at home before slipping out with their present in hand. Thus began your gut wrenching waiting; lonely from the absence of the valet you had dismissed, sweet from the aroma of tea you were served to consume and dreadful from the boredom that seized you after an hour.
You had scrutinized every nook and crazy of the room, grown tired of the sunflower colored walls and longed to stretch your legs. Given your title and their approval for being able to make yourself at home, you brought yourself to the door. There you considered your options and opted that a walk in the garden would be considered far from harmful and respectable. As such you twisted the doorknob and entered the deserted corridor.
The residence was far smaller than your own. Nevertheless you wandered in search of the outdoors, which you assumed should be somewhere on the main floor. Yet, as you turned corners after corners, with no staff to ask for directions, you abandoned your aim and instead took interest in the overall decoration of the mansion. Flashy and austere, everything seemed to be displayed as an attempt to show off wealth rather than style. You scrunched your nose when you crossed paths with a credible counterfeited painting. Well it must have fooled one too many if it sustained its place atop the walls.
Analyzing the brush technique of the artist, your ears picked up a muffled conversation from your right. Etiquette would have it that you were at this instance obliged to turn your heels and walked away, but this was the household of your fiance. Curiosity won over and, making sure to tread carefully on the carpet you took slow steps towards the door like opening in the wall that led inside a room you never got the chance to lay eyes upon.
The familiar voice of Sabo's parents filled your ears.
“A vase? To think she took all this trouble to bring us mere pottery,” the harsh voice of Didit discredited your gift.
“This is only the beginning, I'm sure we'll be granted far more luxuries over time,” Outlook spoke with disdain.
Hearing their blasphemy far from scared your heart, instead hardening your ill sentiment towards the despicable pair. With such personalities for parents, no wonder Sabo wished to get away. You would want to do as much too.
As your eyes darkened by their chatter, a hand came to grab your arm from behind and another, quick like the wind, placed itself atop your mouth to prevent a pitch from leaving your lips. Alerted, you clawed your free hand at your face to remove the caging. Your heart raced. Your palm grew sweaty. Your eyes widened in alert. And your insides churned in discomfort.
However, you were wheeled around by the hand clutching your arm and was met with the sight of Sabo; his round eyes, steady and blank, stared directly in yours while the hand he had used to silence you moved to gesture a silent motion at his lips.
Identifying him had made the uncomfortable beating of your chest shrink down into a heavy breathing. Your gaze lowered at the finger he had put at his lips and before you had the chance to look back into his eyes, he dragged you away with the clutch he kept over your arm. It was probably the biggest affront someone outside your family had ever dared to pose to you in your life. Yet you knew better than to speak aloud words of protestation, instead staring confused gazes at the broad back of Sabo, his jacket removed to reveal a sweater vest that lined the length of his shoulders sharply. The nape of his neck too was exposed, and shamelessly, you looked.
Admittedly, you wanted to relish in the sight of his back slightly longer rather than be shoved into yet another sitting room, though smaller in size. You turned around to see Sabo close the door before he reeled on his heels, scorn thundering his features. This wasn't the second encounter you had envisioned. Far from it
“What do you think you were doing by eavesdropping on my parents?!” His voice far from minced the words that came out.
“Surprised I can be discreet?” You tempted as a joke with a sly smirk.
His lips further inclined downward. “Does royalty always snoop around in people's business? What were you thinking of accomplishing either way?”
You shrugged. “Snooping around? Well yes it is our duty to be aware of our subject's life. But let's say that this time around I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Sabo found no amusement in your witty reply. “Why did you even come here? I received word when coming home that you were waiting in the drawing room but instead found you elsewhere.”
This knived at your conscience, for you felt his opinion of you was lowering. Mix how he had caught you in a reproachable act which had put him in displeasure, along with the lack of warnings for your arrival and you would have very reticent traits to seek in a partner.
You looked away in guilt. Your hand rummaged in the pocket of your dress to fetch the envelope you had set aside for him. “This is why I came,” you extended the invitation towards him.
Sabo eyed your hand rather than taking its content. “Don't tell me you're throwing yet another ball?” His tone was reproachful and you weren't sure why.
“It is for our engagement. Your presence is required,” taking matters into your own hands, you closed the distance with him and placed the envelope in his sweater vest pocket. Satisfied you took a step back and gave him a quaint smile.
“And that's reason enough to waste food and resources that many would kill for?” The anger in his eyes sent a chill down your spine.
You felt like blame was being cast on you, and you hated that sentiment when you weren't the one with power. “Listen, the problems you are speaking of are out of my control. I wasn't the one who decided to throw a ball and all I did was pay you and your family a visit out of respect to deliver the news myself,” you reeled in a harsh breath.
“Discarding all sense of responsibility, I see. Pretty common for royalty, and nobles for that matter.”
Your temper was starting to rise. “Can you stop speaking as if all the problems in the world are my fault?”
“You are the princess of this country, and as you made quite clear last we spoke, you're skilled enough to govern this nation. So tell me why exactly are you excusing yourself from blame?” Sabo raised an eyebrow at you while crossing his arms.
You momentarily found yourself at a loss for words. Gripping your dress in anger, you gave a spiteful pout. He wasn't wrong, and you hated him for rubbing how you made sure not to be perceived as a useless figurehead in your face. “I–”
“Your brother is king too. And the entire nation knows how tight knitted your family is. You could have talked him out of it if you wanted.” Sabo looked like he had more to say but seeing as your jaw clenched from being interrupted, he stopped his monologue.
You had to stop yourself from taking in a deep breath through your mouth. With the fire burning in your insides and the words he had thrusted in your face, it was hard to keep face. “I didn't know you were so agaisn't balls.”
Sabo gave an impatient sigh. “Not just balls. Everything morally wrong with the lavish life of the wealthy. It is quite disgusting.”
“Could that be your reason for abandoning this life?”
Sabo kept quiet for an instant, realizing that he might have said more than expected. “Well half of it, yeah. I cannot stand to partake in such credulous behavior.” He walked past you to sit in an armchair.
“And has it ever crossed your mind that commoners would be no different from us if given the opportunity to live our life?” You turned to perpetuate a stare in his direction.
Sabo leaned on his knees with a grave air. “Because we deprived them from so much all their lives.”
“And you think running away from all of it will change something?”
“Probably not. But at the very least, I can break my part in the system and live a life I consider more fruitful.”
“You are odd.” You bluntly voiced, walking to sit in front of him. “I can't decide whether to dislike you after the accusations you push my way or admire the sympathy you feel for the common people.”
“Think whatever you want of me, I do not care,” his words and conviction striked you as truthful, enough that it caused a slight jealousy to form in you towards having enough courage to remain unbothered.
“You do not care because of my status. I almost pity you, Sabo.”
“What?” He lifted his head with furrowed eyebrows, his eyes surveying your features in search for answers.
“You cannot see further than my title of princess, which pains me. I however have been able to look past your many disrespectful behavior and remarks to deduce in our short time together that you are hard headed, will driven and possess a great deal of sympathy, which I find quite likable in a man. However I wonder if you have been able to discern any good qualities in me.”
A pause, thick in silence occurred.
“Mhmh, I see.” You stood, harboring a hurt expression, feeling you had left a weak impression on his person. “Unfortunately things are already in motion for the ball, and invitations have already been sent and received as we speak. I hope to see you there in good spirits for the sake of the celebration.”

Okay, guys, you want me to go on about the most pointless things?
Let's go on about Byeol (and a bit about Fane, I suppose), because I am going insane
Alright everyone, for those unaware, this is Byeol:
Tumblr media
This is a tyrant in Nexomon: Extinction, his name is Byeol. The problem about this, however.
He isn't a story tyrant, and this... Makes me very interested in him.
Amelie calls Tyrants super powerful Nexomon, but here's the thing. According to Coco, Jin blocked off the entrance to Fenrir's tomb so that no more Tyrants may be hatched
Lydia also says to go bother Nadine because of the egg, and keep in mind, the grass Tyrant is Tikala. A warden. Probably because Deena didn't necessarily want to add fuel to the fire
So then we are already established that Tyrants are probably always hatched.
... So then what of Fane and especially Byeol?
(And there's no Psychic Tyrants because... Solus would be too lil to bonk an egg, and nobody would ask a random kid to do so.)
Well, let's go with the easier one, in which I ask yet again, what's up with the Ghost type? I've wanted to throw hands about it for a long time.
(Ulzar says that the reason Nexomon are, well, a thing is because of the Children of Omnicron. So it makes sense, right? 7 children, 7 elements)
Psychic is a bit trickier because of the fact Mystogen exists. And if we're going of the fact Solus made the psychic type...
Putting a pin in that, rant for another day.
So... What of Ghost?
Well. That's not the point of the post and that's my motivation for writing Doubts.
But! Moving on, Fane. Well, with the assumption they come from eggs, well frick. There's no ghost primordial.
... Which is why I can't speak much of it. We can surely just blame Hilda
... Do you know who we have more of?
Byeol.
Well. Let's see then.
Byeol is a normal type in Palmaya, first and foremost.... We are back to James everyone, anyone who's talked to me isn't surprised
Hi new people, James is how we call the Nexolord on this side of the fandom, moving on.
Assuming that James isn't dead and we take into account this from Nadine:
Tumblr media
Well, who am I to argue with Nadine? (Granted, she could mean Grunda or Deena , but.)
.. So, in today's rant. Byeol and Metta, woooo.
First of all, he is in Palmaya(and later around the Orphanage as of the Abyssals but we can put a pin in that because, Abyssals) , which, is definitely not the frozen tundra
But, Merida is in the frozen Tundra, and Atlanta's Tyrant is frosty enough to argue Merida bonked the egg there.
.. So then, Palmaya's free, ey?
Well. That's interesting, further on, I am going to need to grab Metta for a moment
Tumblr media
Hello bowling ball, I still think you should be an Armodillo.
Moving on, see this man? Until his siblings he is, unfortunately, not an animal
My only logic conclusion, looking at this man(if we don't take my other James theory into account), is that he's supposed to be a kind of biblically accurate angel, just, ribbons not wings (Thanks for the association Azzie, your hands are red too)
... HMMMM who ELSE has wings and is a normal type...
... WELL THEN.
Additionally, I must point out, Metta has 7 ribbons. If we count the bottom pointy Byeol has he has 8.
... Well, it just happens an additional type is added this time, to bump it from 7 to 8(we already went over why I think Ghost might not count)
.. So then.
And. Well, let's look at it this way. Nivalis and Arqua, they don't look the same. Fona and Mulcimer, er. The closest we have is Ventra and Eurus.
... And, well, Solus and Nara, but surely not
... Byeol could've been a kangaroo or something, but instead-
They're both inanimate object things I can't make sense of. I know Ross said that he was just inspired to make a star thing, but-
... Hm.
What am I trying to say? Nothing really. At the end of the day these are coincidences, likely
Like, n3 protag and James both have a blue hair strand, but that doesn't mean they're like, immediately necessary related kind of thing
... Just makes you think.
(Also, this stated when I made a joking like toddler Byeol human version, and I saw the white hair and went like "...wait")

“how does it feel?”
═══ UNPROMPTED INTERACTIONS ═══ LEAGUE VERSE
"...To die? What an odd question, particularly from someone like you, if you don't mind me saying, Miss Irelia. You have killed countless humans, did you not take a moment to look upon their eyes as they went?" His stare was cold, lifeless as his gaze reflected the moon and her sharpened gaze - but his finger was quick to lift, "I know what you say, that Noxians aren't people, surely there's no way humans could do such a thing to eachother… But they did, they do, where they come from or their ancestry doesn't matter… Their blood is red, like yours, like mine, and almost everything in this world is meant to die. But I imagine you're asking my own experience."
His expression lifts into a small smile, keeping his gaze upon her as he cupped his chin, staring through her very being - at her hatred, at her hurt. "I suppose it depends on the person and how they go, but for me… My eyes were beaten until the green of Zaun turned into blood, the air was stripped from my lungs as I choked on the muddied puddle under me - all while someone much stronger than I held me down. I…I remember someone screaming, someone - a woman - begging for me to not go yet. I don't remember much about her, but she had yellow eyes and soft hands. I think we may have been friends at some point." The Ionian air tasted sweet as he sucked in to fill his lungs, a breath he did not need to take but one that was comforting regardless.
"I felt my body slip away and just like that, there was no more struggle, no more pain, nothing. I did not exist anymore, whatever I was had faded and I was never supposed to return. Yet here I stand." The mage's expression was hollow and blank of every emotion he had shown up to that point, "I suppose many die in fear, unable to rest even as they rot within the earth or are grinded up into meat for the Noxian empire. I've no doubt their grieving has bled into the soil too, how much blood do you think has absorbed into these very trees around us? How many Noxians do you think are part of this place now? Haha - and don't say Ionia wouldn't take them, nature is but a beast, a motherly beast - but it still has teeth and claws and will eat anything given to it. The corpses you've piled, that they've piled...well, its a bountiful feast."
Less so a laugh and moreso a harsh snort left him, "We all die the same, though, we're all human at the end of it. To say someone isn’t is to say we can do what we want to them… I am sure that the Grand General said the same thing to his troops when they were sent here. Maybe to make them feel better, but it doesn't change what they've done, what you've done, what many of us have done. Did you want to forget that they are people? I have to wonder if maybe you're just lying though, to know your family was torn apart by humans just like you and I - it's much more palatable to imagine they were animals lacking of any good qualities, that they could never cry in the same way as you do. Is it a lie you tell to everyone around you or perhaps a lie you tell to yourself? I cannot blame you, we are terrifying creatures after all, the only things on this planet that can justify stripping the life of another and then act as if our hands aren't wet with their blood."
It was odd, the way he spoke. There was no malice, no stinging venom like that of a snake - his words were flat and calm like a lake…a gentle acceptance of what change and death truly was. Nature's delight, he almost felt silly for trying to fight against it so often while alive, to try and bring his siblings back...What a foolish endeavor.
"…Why though? Are you frightened of death? Of the abyss? As I said, almost everything is meant to die - and being alive isn't so special either. Millions before you and after you will be born and die too, it isn't as though you'll feel anything after." A pause, "Death isn't something you feel, its just…the end; there is no more pain and suffering. No more pleasure but also no more desire for pleasure. You won't have to suffer anymore and won't be deprived of any deliciousness that you otherwise could've experienced. Existence is a burden, a burden that we are biologically programmed to embrace - there is really nothing to it at all. At the end, everyone's end, you'll find that what you've done will eventually wither to nothing too; when the great grandchildren of the people you've helped speak your name for the last time. "Noxian or Ionian, man or woman or child - you'll return to nothingness just as you were before, and even if Noxus tears Ionia to pieces - or Ionia tears Noxus to pieces… that will become nothing too." He smiled,
"You've been nothing far more than you've been something, and we are never meant to come back."

Same. It would be nice if we were to know something about the twins. Like this is the person we're (the traveler) desperately searching for the entire game, it would be nice we were to know what the twins were like, what their relationship was like, where they came from, etc. Like we know next to nothing about them! We could have an interaction between them in game, at least once, outside of the abyss, before it all started!
Give us traveler lore mihoyo. I wanna know more about them!
Everyday I go to bed thinking that I probably won't know anything more about Aether and Lumine until new archon quests drops. I will never sleep at this point. It's 2 in the morning and I still can't keep myself from searching for star traveler crumbs
#genshin impact#genshin traveler#aether and lumine#given we know so little about the twins and their relationship it doesn't seem very compelling to find them#like if you've played the witcher 3 you can see the game takes time to show what ciri's relationship with geralt was like#through flashbacks amd dialogue and stuff#and lore#because this is the person who geralt was looking for the entire game#and we the player can see the genuine care and worry for her beneath his somewhat stoic exterior#this young girl who is like a daughter to him#and we grow to care about her too as we see more and more of what she's going through#how she's struggling to survive and just stumbling from place to place in fear for her life#how she can never stay in one palce for long because wild hunt always finds her#and she loses the people she cares about in her journey to them#we know so much about her even before we meet her and see her and geralt's reunion#which was really emotional and filled with angst btw#because even after all that Geralt has done and been through#all the pain and effort of trying to find her#all the monsters he fought and all the traveling he's done#all the people he's helped in return for information of her whereabouts#even after all that he did#he thought he was too late amd she was dead when he found her body#and he...just collapses#and your later choices in the game make or break your bond with her and decide her fate#oops this turned into a rant about the witcher 3 and I digress#but yeah#that was my point#WE NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TWINS#and the abyss sibling we're supposed to looking for#a little more context wouldn't hurt mihoyo

Hi there it's been a while I haven't receive your update, I hope you are in a good term. I'm anticipating your kaleidoscope series. What do you think if Gojo get sealed shortly after knowing that lil mochi would have a sibling.
Hello! I am fine, thank you for being so thoughtful, I hope you're doing well too! I actually have a draft to publish but I wanna post it with the others I'm finishing—I'm doing my best to be done with that part 2 so fingers cross what I'll do with them.
A sibling huh? I was thinking of that for a long time now... To be honest—in my selfish dream I don't wanna give Kouki a sibling while things are going shit—but who knows... There are things that cannot be foreseen.
(Lemme just insert: I'm very sorry but whenever I remember Satoru is locked in the Prison Realm I can't help but remember he don't have anything inside to eat, unless skeletons inside have a kitchen which is ridiculous, I know—even if inside bodily functions are temporarily suspended to function—but an image of a malnourished Satoru genuinely haunts me. (╥﹏╥)
Tumblr media
As for Satoru I can see him:
• First and foremost—he was beyond ecstatic when you showed him the six pregnancy kit all positive—he finally hit the jackpot! After trying to always do it on his free time—you're sleepy? Ok let Satoru do all the work, his honey just have to relax, all your wants and needs and Kouki finally having a little sibling!
"Kikufuku, do you want a little sister or brother?" Satoru asked Kouki who won't stop clinging on you after knowing he's gonna have a sibling.
"Can we have both?"
"Why both?" You asked stroking your son's head pressing against your not yet showing belly.
"Because, Kou..." Kouki thought for a while and run to Satoru jumping up and down asking for carry.
"Because we're family."
Satoru melted at his son hugging him, and to think another little mochi is going to be part of the little haven.
• It was supposed to beuntil all of this came running down.
• He's thinking day and night of you and Kouki and the little munchkin—did Yūta reach you in time? He trusts his student will raise heaven and hell to keep you and his son safe. But...even the strongest feel helpless. Just anyone dare to lay their hands on his family—killing is not an option, oh no it's a matter or how—he's not a shallow believer killing is the best revenge, trust Satoru to use his wide imagination what to do. He must calm down, he needs to be level-headed, anger is useless in this situation.
• When he's closes his eyes he can only see you and Kouki. Do you know what scares him the most? It's not the darkness and the suffocating stench corpse filled box but the image of you crying yourself to sleep on the cold bed, his son looking for him and the precious mochi inside you makes his heart quiver.
• The growing little treasure in you—it must be crazy that you're the one pregnant but he's the one craving to run his palms over your growing belly. It was the highlight of your pregnancy for Satoru, to run his hands on your growing belly, to revel in the heartbeat and warmth from you and watch the growing life in you, what makes it more wonderful is that he's going to do it with Kouki, or supposedly it was, until he's sealed in this neverending darkness—Satoru yearns for his family. He promised you and Kouki a family date to buy baby clothes—it seems it has to be moved back.
• He wants and needs to be there for you and Kouki. While staring at the abyss his pastime is reminiscing his memory of how needy and clingy you were during your pregnancy with Kou. All your frustrations and questionable craving, it should be him to fulfill all your requests and whims of the mother of his children, it should've been him.
• How much time have past? He don't know, and the more he thinks the heavier his heart beats thinking of you doubting he'll come home—thinking of you struggling to tell Kouki and the precious growing mochi that their father is nowhere to be found—
• Satoru have said it himself—it's a sin to rob the youth of young people—he must not rob his children the chance to have a father watching over them.
• "Wait for me, I'm coming home to you whatever it costs me."
Tumblr media
• For what Satoru said, it's a reference to the Episode 6—he told Shoko, the reason why Yūji will come back in action at Goodwill Event.
Thank you so much for supporting Kaleidoscope Series! (つ≧▽≦)つ I hope this was able to satisfy your curiosity~ ✨💛✨

Hey so that Dainsleif quest huh 👀
[Spoilers for those who haven't played it yet ofc]
.
.
.
These are just some disorganized initial thoughts for your consideration:
So I'm pretty sure his "travel companion" that he keeps mentioning is our twin
Does that mean our twin has gone to the exact same places as we've been going?? Dainsleif seemed to be familiar with all the locations we visited in Mondstadt but I suppose that could've been from an even earlier journey
And the possibility that the Abyss is trying to mislead us bc we hadn't encountered any abyss mages since Dvalin 🤔🤔🤔 what do they want??? We know (kinda) that our twin is watching our progress and that they're the prince/princess of the Abyss so like are they trying to keep us from getting in the way of their plans so as not to accidentally hurt us? Though something tells me we're gonna get tangled up in it one way or the other lmao
Dainsleif said that his goal is to oppose the Abyss so perhaps he's got his own secret plans to try to stop our twin (as is also supported by what he said at the end of the mortal travails video about proving ourselves worthy of stopping "her"/Lumine probably)
Also turns out I'd been pronouncing his name wrong the whole time lmao I had been saying dains-leaf instead of dains-lif
No Vision as confirmed by his full character model
Also his eyepatch is more of a phantom of the opera mask lmao
Important observation he looks like post timeskip Dimitri from a distance when I had to meet him in Dvalin's Lair I legit thought he was Dimitri for a sec XD
Anyway those were my thoughts about the new quest lmao my internet was cutting out the whole time while I was trying to play like dsfkdksjf pls I just wanted to talk to blond eyepatch man
Important part of this post:
I took a lot of pictures of Dainsleif if you want to use them as references (or appreciation).  The pictures are under the read more tag so if you don’t want spoilers, don’t read anything and skip to the read more.
Also, he calls you and your sibling “idiots” through money.
He asks for 500 mora and (this is probably just a coincidence but considering Zhongli tips Xiangling 888 mora I’m sus). The number 250  [二百五] or ( èr bǎi wǔ) means “idiot”.
If someone calls you 250, they can say (nǐ shì wǔ bǎi) or “You are [250]”. But if you give someone 500, this can be taken as saying two people are stupid (250 + 250 = 500). I mean, that’s probably not how it works but I think it’s funny to imagine Dainsleif being too polite to call us stupid.
---
I know right? When I saw the leak for it and seeing it confirmed in patch notes, I was so confused. Wha-Why are you here so early? I wasn’t expecting you for another 5 years at least. I’m happy to see you and your beautiful model in game but at the same time I was so worried that we were going to get crumbs of interactions. Same thing with Guizhong in Zhongli’s story quest. Genshin please...finish your stories (that’s fucking hilarious coming from me considering I still have a part 2 to Childe that I need to write), but I’m honestly just happy that he’s in the game. But yes 👀👀 more lore food.
You know, I was talking about the archons a bit with @maagdalen and, I may have been misunderstanding or reading the wrong message, but they brought up the idea that what if the archons’ personality is based on their regions country's? So for example, Venti’s personality adopts the German mentality because Mondstadt was modelled after Germany? Obviously, I have no idea if that’s true because I’m not from or am German but in the context of Liyue and Zhongli. I can definitely see some sort of connection.
But some food for thought:
“But cyro archon is very viable since she's suppose to be a kind hearted person that needed to be cold for the sake of freedom. or peace. something like that.”
“Sorry, but this is stupidly Russian style. No matter what you say, people will always be dissatisfied. Of course it's not that bad...but it's something to think about.“
But yess, @svnflowery said the same thing. That Dainsleif was Lumine’s “guide” the same way Paimon is our guide. I actually think that’s an interesting idea. That Lumine has gone to the exact same places as we’ve been through. It actually makes me wonder (since we can play as both her and Aether), that Lumine went through the same story line as Aether. She met Venti, Zhongli, everything that’s happening right now. She’s already been through, then when she reached the Khaenri’ah chapter she failed. So she decided to spin the clock back and change destiny. I mean, this is me spit balling and I don’t think this happened but it’s something to think about.
You know funny enough, hasn’t Venti been asleep for a while? Either way, he doesn’t really strike me as the type that truly wants to be an Archon. He says in his voicelines as well that “that’s a problem for Mondstadt to deal with”. So it would be easier for the Abyss Order to mess some things up. While Zhongli has been alive for 6000 years and I highly doubt Abyss Order can do anything to him haha. If we’re going on that “Lumine has already been through this journey” she could be trying to re-make or lead us on the same path.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Dainsleif was our guide, then when Lumine spun the clock back and aligned herself with the abyss, that’s when they split. That could be a reason why he’s trying to oppose the abyss order but really I think it’s because the Abyss Order’s goal is to basically set the world on fire (or something like that). I always pronounce character names wrong and I don’t understand why people make such a big deal out of it. You know who I’m talking about, my pronunciation isn’t completely shit to the point you don’t know. So why do you keep yelling at me??
Also. The most important part of his quest was it was “Aether’s version” of the “We will be reunited” trailer.
Tumblr media
It even showed the crushed dandelion flower and the ruin guard footprints. IT’S OUR SISTER.
I knoww, I was searching for his vision and got weird pics but that’s alright, I LOWKEY HATE THE OPERA MASK SO MUCH. GIVE ME ACTUAL MASK. THERE GOES THE “SEPERATE COLOURED EYE” ART OF KHAENRIAH PEOPLE. Yo, knock off Dimitri let’s go.
I love Dainslief’s english voice but I hate Xiao’s en voice. What a dilemma. I usually play in chinese but wow does Dainslief sound old. Jp is slightly better but I hear grandpa vibes. Korean isn’t bad and I actually don’t mind korean xiao so korean we shall go. It’s weird. I like Dainsleif english voices, Xiao chinese voice, paimon korean voice haha. Jp is usually just good all around but I have preferences. But tyty for telling me your thoughts! I’d love to hear about the Xiao quest that just dropped. Beautiful boy
Tumblr media
sweats
Tumblr media
yeah about that...xiao scammed me. I wonder if his speech changes based on what you say. i kind of doubt it though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m looking at his outfit from every angle while Xiao stays pretty in the back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like that you can see his magic arm there.
Tumblr media
While on this side you can’t.
Tumblr media
I swear this is for research. IM TRYING TO SEE IF HE HAS A VISION. IM INNOCENT!!
Tumblr media
he also has some sort of weird...blue thingy on his foot?
Tumblr media
Im using Xiao as a personfication of me BUT TELL ME YOUR SECRETS

Miscellaneous mini theories I just have as head canons that have little to not basis (for Nexomon 3 mostly, but also definitely includes Nexomon spoilers) ™
Alright starting off with a strong one:
I'm like 99% sure that the Abyssal person is not human.
Almost no basis, and seers I do count under humans but it's like. She's from around Omnicron's time since that's when Venefelis first emerged, and even in the abyssals we come to the conclusion that she is definitely an immortal enemy.
Now granted, she could be immortal through normal means, aka just some spell stuff, but that seems almost a bit fetched unless she has like, tea parties with Ziegler
Now I don't mean automatically that she may be related to Omnicron, but who knows at this point. I do think it's not any of the Omnikids(even if James is gone it seems out of character ™/0 motivation), so that would be pretty bad if they pulled that card
So who knows, really. Seer at the very least, but..
More Metta things who could've guessed (Drakes edition:D)
I get that Amelie is supposed to be a great scientist, but it's like. Vados was based on Vaithe. She had enough data to pull that bs from Micromon(Vaithe + dos= Vados), and so did she for the rest of the CHAOS siblings. Like Gurgita n crew already existed in Micromon so there's basis there.
And even for the original returning nexomon (The ones you need a lure for), they all are based on fully evolved and strong Nexomon that surely have enough to like, pull from and make them strong.
Now the drakes.. If the database is to be believed then, the drakes are based on Tephragon, which is an Uncommon. That's... A pretty big jump, even for Amelie to make, granted there could be something in Micromon they're based on but I don't have an iPhone, so...
What if, and hear me out here, Amelie on accident or purpose. May have used some of Metta's power for em?
Look, I don't know where the glass ball is, I'm clearly going insane, but he did have all the elements, and we don't see his shrine which means it could be God knows where. So.
Again absolutely 0 basis. It's in the negatives, even.
Ghosts(not the type) will definitely be back in n3 for some reason. Not sure why, but I do have a feeling
Granted, if they aren't in n3 I can entirely blame Hilda for the ghost type and that makes things easier, but still.
I do think that part of the Abyssal master's plan is that they do want those guys around. Because, if we're looking at an immortal being, she could've struck Hilda down much much earlier and much much later. But we decided to wait until she made the ghosts, and to strike before she could remove them.
Because what's time to an immortal being? Ultimately nothing. So, she should have little to no trouble waiting for n1 protag to pass and then hit Hilda when she's unprotected(assuming Hilda has a longer lifespan anyway, because if she doesn't I don't see why we couldn't just wait)
So yeah, Ghosts.
The abyssals' minds might just be somewhat normal once they finished their tasks(and we have to define normal)
So, to explain myself, Pluvian I believe said that he finished his task, he can just rest and chill. Kroma said that she couldn't think straight until Eliza was slain.
They all still want to satisfy their creators of course, but from how Venefelis acted I do think that half the reason why her and Pluvian didn't do anything tragic after being slain is- well, they could think.
Could you imagine having a voice in your head and a weight on your heart and an over clouded mind and then suddenly it just lifts? Surely that's at least somewhat scary, and surely that just feels empty.
Granted, Abyssal person might still be able to control them(Venefelis fight), but still
Braccus was just an ass
