how the hell do you rig 3d robot models
I’ve absolutely no idea what I’m doing
#Also yeah the model is like 60-80% recycled parts#as in most of the pieces have been reused in multiple different components throughout the model#with maybe some minor modification#the cuisses greaves vambraces spaulders and back of the head are all the same piece with minor modifications (mostly scaling and bridging)#and the ab plates have been reused for the knees biceps faceplate and forehead plate#etc etc#I'm not particularly happy with the design but eh it's fine#I'm making this purely to a) have a (semi)completed model and b) learn how to rig and animate#I might remake this at some point to make it actually look good#(also I really don't like how human the design ended up being)#(but it was the easiest way to get this done while still looking kind of okay with all the recycled components)#(also yeah there isn't actually any rigging here yet. I don't know how to start and I'm bad at everything including understanding tutorials)
