I should write my own rant about why Martha is so great. She's SO GREAT.
#the fact that she only had like 1 season was a crime#they cut her arc in half and gave her to the military#and even STILL she gave us so much#the rejection the knowledge that youre always second best no matter how good you are#the realization that you can never be all youre meant to be if you dont assert your value#and that means walking away from someone who refuses to see uou for who you are#no matter how much you love them no matter how good they are#martha saved herself by removing herself from the narrative in a way no other companion ever has and will!!
