Edward Nygma's first crush was James Dean. He first saw him in Rebel Without a Cause at fourteen and he was in love. It's a very silly headcannon that makes a lot of sense in my head and I could try to write an essay about how Dean's struggles with finding his identity ressonated with Eddie. But honestly it just is.
