you enter your room, locking the door behind you. you live alone, across from ellie williams. since she had noticed ellie and started watching her, she had been on another level. through your window you can see her taking out the trash and throwing it in the bin. you fantasize about her pulling your hair and grabbing you that way...

you grab your diary and write your entry about what ellie does in her daily life, gathering information and her routine to make her like you more when you're finally able to gather the courage to go talk to her. with a black pen, you write in your unsteady handwriting:

'ellie brings out the trash in a black sack, throws it in the green bin outside her house. tommorow is trash day, so she perfectly timed it, like the perfect ellie she is.. after she went inside, she turned on purple leds in her room, turning off the rest or her lights. -> gets ready for bed at 21:00.'

since you've been watching and documentimg everything around her, it's like you finally have a purpose in life, since she came, no more pain. you're very very determined to talk to her soon, because tomorrow she goes for her weekly grocery shopping at the local store. you get your outfit and jewelry perfectly ready to impress.

*next morning*

you get up, get dressed and ready to go out. you make sure to brush your teeth untill they're perfectly white and spray some perfume on. you drive your bmw to the store approximately 15 minutes before ellie usually arrives. you go inside with your shopping cart and wait around the meat isle where ellie loves to buy her favorite chicken and eat it the same night, she loves chicken so much. while you pull out your phone, you hear a second cart roll behind you, towards the chicken. you whip around and there she is.

finally you get so see her up close.. you have to remember to write down where her freckles are. you look into her eyes.. they're pale green and you notice a small scar on her right eyebrow.

"uhm.. do I know you? I can't recognize your face.."

"oh hahaha!! I'm uh.. your next door neighbor.. the blue house?"

you see her eyes light up as she remembers the house. she says she's never seen you before and you're fairly with inviting her over for dinner to 'get to know each other'. she agrees and you give her your phone number. she texts you a "hi!" and you favoritize it immediately. I mean.. it's fucking ellie??

later that night, as you finish packing up your groceries into the fridge and cabinet, you take a shower after your bit of time watching ellie. right when you get out, you hear the doorbell ring and groan in annoyance. you throw on your robe and head downstairs.

you open the door and.. oh shit.. oh fuck.. it's ellie. your face reddens immediately with embarassement. "oh uh.. I see you're a bit busy? should I come over another time or..?"

"no. well I mean, you can just wait down here, I won't be too long haha."

you hand her the tea already on the counter, you initially had made it for yourself. lucky enough, there was some ketamine by the counter you were gonna use to spike her drink. you just didn't expect to see her so soon. you sprinkle the powder into her drink and hope she doesn't notice.

"oh yeah.. sure I'll be waiting"

you practically run upstairs after leading her to the sofa and shutting the door. you get dressed in your Rory Gilmore sweater and some loose-ish jeans. while you run back downstairs though, you notice your diary about ellie lying open in the kitchen table and ellie standing in front of the door with her shoes on, with a blank stare towards the locked door.

"did you..?"

"yes. yes I fucking did. let me the fuck out. now."

you feel your whole personality switch.

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Ellie."

she turns around, scared and confused.

"you're in my world now.."

she frantically tries to open the door by jamming at the door handle.

"no no ellie.. you can stay.. you can stay."

you look at her with sorry eyes, sorry for what she will have to experience now, as the price for looking through her things.

"it shouldn't have gone this way els.."

the nickname made her visibly shiver and you can feel her must wanting to cower into a ball on the floor. only her closest friends would call her that. but of course, you had picked up on that already.

"you shouldn't have been so nosy the first time over. god, the hopes I had for us. you disappoint me."

i've just been reading some textposts and i started thinking about the different ways lestappen shows affection with each other and whatnot. now i'm here in your inbox bc i really have no idea where to put this out lmao. because it really is just so them when it comes to displaying emotion so i guess buckle up and drive with me

as we all witnessed, especially more recently, max is definitively the initiator. the one who loves with everything he has. the one that feels things deeply and has nowhere to put it but in the world itseld. the one who constantly reaches out and finds charles and just corners him to talk to, to say congratulations, to just maxplain without care. bright eyes and a brighter smile, he just always finds charles to talk about anything. it's ridiculous, honestly. prime example, the entirety of the monaco 2024 gp weekend. max has been doing nothing but drop really obvious hints that the only one he'd love to hear on the top step is the italian national anthem? yes, this could be due to max liking ferrari as his only opponent on the field, but it's just so clear which of the two drivers he favours more heavily. yes, max likes carlos. yes, max and carlos have a history. but has max ever constantly walked up to him and squeeze the back of his neck twice to grab his attention and sidle off with a smile? no? don't think so. the fact he does it with consistency too — max constantly grabs charles' attention this way around monaco too, back in 2022 as well. (and i believe bahrain 2022 too? istg max) and here in monaco, the year 2024, he does it twice, once to congratulate him on pole with a run-and-gun tactic, literally being on charles' left only to clasp hands on charles' right bc max was just zooming across the media pen — the other is when the glorious lestappen hug happens (talking about this hug deserves another post in its own right). max just goes for it because it's easy, natural, and just right. as if it makes sense to gravitate towards your rival, as if it always has and always will be the same.

max is definitely more physical, literally talks with his hands i getchu, when it comes to interactions. the constant handholding (what is the sportsman clasp or dap if not a way to hold the hands of your rivals), the touches, the way max holds him on top of the podium, fingers curled around red waists, pressing light, pressing hard, enough to make an impression, enough to make it last (podium waist holding also deserves its own post good lord)... it just adds up

charles is definitely more discreet as mentioned before. he's more coy about it, too. teasing. likes to bully others with love. when charles gave max the secret santa gift and dedicated it to his biggest fan and when i tell you he ain't wrong — have you seen max's reaction? all he does is grin and laugh about, doesn't even deny it. just says, "oh that's a nice one" as if he likes playing the f1 games like come on. he was so smiley and giggly and it's so obvious. like they share the same sense of humour for sure, to be able to have a laugh about the absurdity of being gifted an f1 game while you are a driver while your rival's face is plastered all over it, but the fact that max just accepts the title of biggest fan? c'mon. charles knows how to play around with people and it's so evident in how max reacts afterwards,, i know charles is charming but. please standup max i beg.

IntiMarch 2024 Day 16 - Only on me

The prompt for this was "Come closer"

Suguru has known that Satoru is a vampire from the very beginning. He kind of has to, being a regulator and all, and in all honesty, Satoru wasn’t trying to hide it much.

At least Suguru hopes it was a deliberate choice because otherwise Satoru just sucks at keeping secrets and they really can’t have that, not when it would impact so many people if it ever came out that all the mythological beings are real.

And Suguru hadn’t been stupid about it, either. He didn’t quite monitor Satoru—he’s old enough to care for himself even if he’s still in the somewhat human and aging stage—but Suguru kept a close eye on suspicious deaths or disappearances in the area.

He’s not proud to admit it, but he breathed a sigh of relief when he realised that Satoru wasn’t going around mindlessly killing people and that there would be no reason for him to interfere or god forbid collar him.

So, all in all, things are great.

Except they are not.

Because something is happening with Satoru, something Suguru can’t put his finger on and it’s a constant worry in the back of his head.

“You okay?” he asks Satoru one day, when they are on the couch, watching a movie or something—Suguru long stopped paying attention—and Satoru’s leg continues to bounce long past the initial sugar rush has worn off.

“Why wouldn’t I be?” he asks, not even meeting Suguru’s eyes and that more than anything is a dead give-away that something is bothering him.

“Because you’re being strange,” Suguru says and just as Satoru opens his mouth he adds: “Stranger than usual.”

“Oh, wow, thank you very much,” Satoru gives back, but he doesn’t elaborate and he doesn’t explain or offer any other kind of answer as to why he could be off like that and Suguru has had enough.

He switches the TV off.

“Hey, what the hell are you doing?” Satoru demands to know and he finally turns around to glare at Suguru.

“There you are,” Suguru breathes out and drops the remote control. “Now tell me what the hell has you this nervous.”

“It’s—nothing,” Satoru tries again, even less convincing than the first time he deflected and Suguru glares at him until Satoru caves under his gaze.

“I’m handling it, promise,” Satoru whispers out, turning his head away and curling up small on the couch. “No need to get all bossy on me.”

“Then let me get all friend-y on it,” Suguru says and waits for Satoru’s confused look before he goes on. “Let me help. Like a good friend does.”

“This is not something you can help with,” Satoru whispers out and Suguru immediately knows that there is something he might be able to help with, Satoru is just too prideful to say it.

“That’s a lie and we both know it. Tell me what it is.”

“Why are you so—” Satoru cuts himself off and throws the pillow he was clutching to his chest straight into Suguru’s face.

“Why am I so what?” Suguru catches the pillow easily. “Helpful? Concerned? Such a good friend? I really don’t know.”

“Haha, very funny, never laughed so much,” Satoru grumbles under his breath and Suguru softens, leaning against Satoru and dropping his head to his shoulder.

Maybe this approach will get him better results.

“Satoru, please,” he quietly says. “You seem stressed and I don’t like seeing you like that. What’s bothering you? I really just want to help you.”

“Yeah, right,” Satoru mutters out. “And then you’re going to report to your family and then what? I’ll be collard in no time, just like my family said.”

Now that took a turn Suguru didn’t expect.

“Why the hell would I collar you? What is going on?”

Satoru stays quiet for a worryingly long time, but Suguru decides to wait him out. Sometimes, Satoru responds well to being pestered, to being prodded and annoyed until it all spills out of him in an annoyed rush, but sometimes he needs to sit and gather his thoughts and think about how to say something and Suguru learned to read those two different moods rather well.

Right now, it’s a thinking mood.

“Shoko is no longer getting blood bags,” Satoru finally whispers out and Suguru’s eyebrows fly up in surprise.

“She didn’t mention anything like that,” he gives back, because it doesn’t seem like a topic Shoko would keep quiet.

It sounds more like something she would complain about.

“Yeah, well,” Satoru shrugs awkwardly with one shoulder. “Apparently Yaga is asking why so many blood bags are disappearing and she said she couldn’t risk it anymore.”

Now that brings Suguru up short.

“Wait,” he says, straightening up and turning fully to Satoru. “Are you—is this how you feed yourself?” Suguru wants to know and it doesn’t make sense.

They leave the campus often enough that Satoru can get something to eat down in the city, it shouldn’t be a problem.

“Of course it is,” Satoru snaps out. “What do you think? At least, I used to. Now I can’t anymore and it’s making me itchy. Mind you, it’s not yet that bad that I’m going to randomly attack people,” he rushes out. “But—it’s hard. I haven’t figured out how to get a new supplier yet.”

“No, wait, back up,” Suguru says, and the urgency in his voice seems to be quite audible because Satoru finally turns around to him.

And now Suguru can see it, the signs of hunger on him. It all makes sense, except for how it definitely doesn’t.

“Why don’t you just—feed?”

“On what? Did you not listen, there are no more blood bags.”

“But—Shoko is there. I am right here. We go down into the city several times a week. You could easily find someone to feed on. How are you not feeding at all?”

Satoru reels back as if he’s been hit at those questions, before a look of pure hurt flashes over his face. It’s almost enough to make Suguru take back whatever hurtful thing he just said, but in the end the confusion wins out.

“Satoru—”

“You could have just said that you want me gone,” Satoru suddenly hisses out and Suguru is horrified to see tears in his eyes. “Why would you say these things? Is this a test? Are you going to call my Clan the minute I say yes?”

Suguru takes a deep breath. Something is going very wrong here, and it’s not going to help if they continue their talk like this.

“Satoru, let’s calm down,” he carefully says and immediately goes on when it looks as if Satoru wants to protest. “You and me both. You’re upset and I am very confused and I don’t think we’re having the same conversation at all.”

“Of course I’m upset!”

“Okay, I can see that. Tell me why,” Suguru cajoles him but Satoru only stares at him with huge eyes.

“What do you mean why?”

“I mean just that. I don’t understand why my questions would upset you like that, so you have to explain it to me. Please.”

“What is there to understand? You know the rules,” Satoru hisses at him and Suguru struggles to keep calm.

This is not going to get them anywhere.

“Let’s assume I don’t.”

“Huh?”

“Let’s just assume for a second that I don’t know the rules. Explain them to me.”

“So you can send me away?” Satoru asks and Suguru knows he wants to sound stern and annoyed but it comes out so scared and so hurt that Suguru pulls him into a hug.

“Satoru, I would never send you away. Don’t—don’t tell this to anyone but I would cover up a murder for you. So whatever it is, I’m not allowing anyone to take you away from me.”

It’s not even a lie; Suguru never gave it much thought before today, never thought he had to, really, but if hiding a body or covering up Satoru’s trail means he gets to stay right where he is, by Suguru’s side, he’d probably do that and maybe even worse.

No one is going to separate them.

“What are the rules?” Suguru asks when Satoru stays quiet and Satoru slumps more heavily against him, clearly giving in.

“It’s not allowed to drink from humans directly,” Satoru mutters, his hands tightly tangled in Suguru’s shirt. “If someone does, they lose control and then they need to be collard by you, your line. My Clan made it very clear that they’d put me under a controlling spell before they let me be collard but—that’s not any better.”

For a moment, Suguru sees red.

Satoru must notice something because he stiffens in Suguru’s arms.

“I know my rules,” Satoru whispers, as if that makes anything better and Suguru forces himself to be calm again, even though there’s so much rage swirling in his chest.

“Who told you that?” he forces himself to ask and wonders just who he has to kill for this.

“My Clan,” Satoru gives back and Suguru tightens his arms around him.

Satoru is never ever going back there, not if Suguru has something to say about it.

“Satoru, it’s not true,” Suguru starts and hides his face in Satoru’s whispy soft hair. “That’s not true at all, those are not the rules.”

Satoru practically radiates surprise so Suguru is quick to go on.

“You’re allowed to feed on humans. It’s expected that you feed on humans, actually, because this—fuck, Satoru did you ever have anything besides blood bags?” Suguru asks and a new kind of horror settles into his bones.

“No,” Satoru admits and Suguru wants to weep.

They are basically starving Satoru that way.

“Fuck, I’m so sorry,” Suguru mutters. “Blood bags are a last resort when you can’t find anything else. The blood in there is—dead, or so I’ve been told. It’s not the same, it’s not the same at all. It doesn’t have what you need to properly survive!”

“I’ve survived fine until now,” Satoru mumbles but Suguru shakes his head.

“You haven’t. If this powerlevel is you with blood bags, you’re at least twice as strong if you feed properly, trust me.”

“How do you know so much? You’re not a vampire.”

“But I am a regulator. We’re there to help. Teach control if a vampire is abandoned after their siring. Help abused vampires.”

Like you, he doesn’t say, because he can’t bear to say it, even though it’s exactly what’s been happening.

“Of course I would know a lot, I’m here to make sure things go well between humans and vampires.”

“Are you—can you help me?” Satoru whispers and Suguru holds him even tighter.

“Of course I can help you. You’re going to feed on me, today, but we’ll go down into the city later this week, no worries.”

“Suguru!” Satoru moves away from Suguru, his eyes huge with surprise. “I can’t feed on you! What if I lose control?”

Suguru’s instinct is to tell him that that’s not going to happen, but if Satoru has never tasted warm human blood then chances are he might.

“I’m strong enough to stop you, should that happen,” Suguru gives back, because it’s the truth. “Unlike unsuspecting humans. You can’t hurt me, I won’t let you, but you really do need to feed.”

“Promise. Promise me, Suguru, that you won’t let me hurt you,” Satoru begs him and Suguru is quick to comply.

“I promise, Satoru. I won’t let that happen.”

Satoru bites his lower lip, worrying it with his teeth and Suguru nudges him.

“What else?”

“Promise me you’re telling the truth,” Satoru says, barely audible in the room and Suguru’s heart hurts for him.

“I promise you that I am telling the truth. I promise you’re allowed to drink of people, as long as you don’t kill them. It won’t make you lose control and it won’t make you a bad person or whatever bullshit your Clan told you.”

It’s an effective way to keep a vampire under control, keep them sheltered and scared and weak, but not for much longer.

Suguru won’t allow it.

“Alright,” Satoru whispers. “What do I do?”

“First of all, come closer. It’s best to drink here,” he points to the place where neck meets shoulder. “You need to break the skin, so don’t hesitate to bite down. It won’t hurt—much—because you’ll automatically administer something that numbs the pain and stops the blood from congealing. You drink until you feel like you’ve had enough or until I tap you to pull away.”

“And you will. Tap me, if you have to.”

“Of course.”

Satoru still hesitates, but his gaze is already fixed on the point where he’ll have his teeth in just a few moments and Suguru knows that he’s not strong enough to move away now.

It’s already a wonder Satoru has gone this long with attacking anyone, and Suguru is not at all worried.

If Satoru has never attacked a person, his self-control is stronger than he gives himself credit for.

“I’m sorry,” Satoru says, right before he moves in, and the pain when he finally sinks his fangs into Suguru’s skin is blinding for a moment, before everything goes pleasantly numb.

Satoru makes a surprised noise against his skin and Suguru guesses that’s fair. It is a lot to take in, first time feeding, and he reassuringly strokes Satoru’s hair.

“That’s it, just like that,” he encourages him, feeling Satoru drink from him and Suguru didn’t even stop to think about how that would feel.

No vampire has ever fed from him, and now he’s glad that Satoru is the first. They can be each other’s firsts like that.

Satoru stops way before Suguru thought, though he doesn’t retreat completely. He takes his fangs out of Suguru’s skin, but then he moves his lips over the spot, as if he wanted to kiss the ache away.

Suguru feels hot all over.

“How was it?” he forces himself to ask after a long moment, Satoru’s lips still exploring his skin and he shudders when Satoru lets out a deep sigh.

“Good. Very good. You’re—tasty,” Satoru admits. “You taste like my favourite treat.”

“I do, huh,” Suguru weakly gives back. “So, you’d want to do it again?” he can’t help but to ask, because maybe he just needs Satoru to say yes to that.

“If I’m allowed to,” Satoru replies and climbs fully into Suguru’s lap. “If you’ll let me.”

“Always,” Suguru whispers, using his hand still in Satoru’s hair to raise his head.

Satoru makes an unhappy noise when his lips are detached from Suguru’s skin, but Suguru barely gives himself a second to notice the healthy flush to Satoru’s cheeks before he reels him in for a kiss.

“I hope I’m allowed to do that more often, too,” Satoru rasps out when they part and Suguru laughs.

“You can do that as often as you want. For the feeding thing, we’ll have to see how much blood you need and how well I take it, but as often as possible. I—” Suguru briefly bites his lip, but then decides that they already kissed, so what is there to hide. “I don’t want you to feed on anyone else,” he admits and Satoru’s eyes sparkle.

“I wouldn’t want to do that, either,” he agrees and nips at Suguru’s lips until he can’t take it anymore and kisses him again.

“Glad we’re on the same page about that,” Suguru murmurs against his lips when there’s the space to do so and Satoru takes that chance to nuzzle his cheek.

“Thank you,” Satoru says, accentuating the words with kisses.

“Always,” Suguru promises again, because he means it.

And going by the way Satoru blushes—fuelled by Suguru’s own blood—Suguru would guess he understands.

KHOC WEEK 2024 DAY 1: INTRODUCTIONS

Woof, I almost forgot it was the first! July was such a busy month for me this year that it went by WAY too fast, haha.

ANYWAY for @khoc-week this year I'll be focusing on my girl C.E.! I've wanted to show her off for YEARS but I've struggled with creating a ref I was satisfied with, until now! As you can see, she's a resident of Twilight Town, so her story mainly coincides with Days, KH2, and KH3 as far as intersection with the main canon goes, and at first glance she seems like just another resident of our favorite sunset town, but appearances can be deceiving and there's always more to the story than first meets the eye. So buckle up and enjoy as I pull back the curtain and give you a peek at what this girlie's hiding in the days to come.

(Also, yes, I did reference that unicorn off of the Unicornis symbol, but there's no connection to Unicornis or Ira planned currently, it's actually a reference to all the unicorns/pegasi in the Twilight Town mansion. The Unicornis symbol just had a cool style that vibed well with C.E.'s design lol)

ygo5dsmonth/Week 2024 Day 4 - iDuel

Since the prompt is music, I thought we could talk about the visuals in the 5D's openings maybe? So here are my favorite parts, and some things I noticed in general

Opening 1 Kizuna

The beginning with the Signers, Godwin and the dragon marks looks super cool. Too bad I don't like the music that goes along with it, haha. A little Jack and Yusei heavy, but it's alright, at least the side characters get time to shine too

Opening 2 Last Train

It's soooo good, a like practically everything here. The new characters and monsters get presented well, and everyone has some solid screen presence. The coolest parts are the view of the Dark Signers in their lair, Kiryu appearing on his D-Wheel, and the Signers at the end (the Dark Signers look cooler though, sorry fellas)

Only thing that bothers me is how Godwin shows up so little in the opening, he's (barely) more in the ending ffs, and he's the final villain of this arc. I know that was a twisted plot twist and I'm the only one who cares, but still

Opening 3 Freedom

Phew, the opening wastes no time to tell you that this is the Yusei/Jack/Crow show now, Rua, Ruka and Aki get into the back right now! And if you're focusing so heavily on the boys at least let them do something other than standing/driving casually, you're not really hyping me up like this OP. Fun fact: this was the first japanese opeining the german dub decided to leave in, after they started dubbing the 4kids version and did their own synchro

Sherry's face looks fuckin weird in this

Why should I care about the stupid WRGP (You're a grand prick!) again? Sigh, tournaments for the sole sake of getting better at something work better before you save the world from certain doom (but that's a writing problem not an opening problem)

The Majestic/Savior dragons look cool at least, and I like that this sequence kinda mirrors the dragons from Last Train, just in their evolved forms

Opening 4 Believe in Nexus

The villains get to look cool for a hot minute, damn. Although Lucciano is the only one with rollerblades, so him sliding and everything makes sense. The other two...are robots and ignore how uncomfortable this should be

Sherry too? They must feel really sorry for having to remove her from the plot

Ally of Justice monsters, so scary! Isn't that the archetype that only ever had one good monster, a generic synchro? But of course everyone has to be dumbass in this arc and plays light monsters, which Ally of Justice is strong against

Opening 5 Road to Tomorrow-Going My Way!!

This is intense as you can see on the two exclamation marks in the title. At long last the other Signers get to be something other than background filler. Also it's so fuckin funny how Yusei and Crow roll out all their Synchros, even those they don't use anymore

and meanwhile Jack...

I refuse to play anything besides Red Demon's Dragon!!!

Jack: Man, I'm sure gonna miss to have someone to stand on rooftops with, once Arc V rolls arround

okk so just quick disclaimer beforehand, i dont know shit about figure skating except the very very basics (like what type of jumps and stuff) so if smth is incorrect or doesnt make sense its bcs of that haha also as always im hopelessly overpowered :D

In my dr im a figure skater from Germany, i was born in early 2007 and did ballet from when i was like 3 (thats canon btw i did that in my cr too haha) but then quickly got impatient and kinda bored with it (also canon, i regret stopping tho) and my parents put me into figure skating and gymnastics instead. since in my hometown there isnt really a big figure skating team (there is one but its not good ngl) i scripted that my now coach saw me by coincidence and decided i had talent and she wanted to coach me. I can do more on my coach if you guys want to btw its kinda a whole (unfinished) story (shes an oc).

So then she started coaching me in 2014, after a lot of convincing from me towards my parents cos they didnt actually want me to become a professional skater cos its obviously not the healthiest thing to do but after I saw Yulia at the 2014 Olympics I begged my parents to let me get private lessons until they gave in (yulia is kinda my role model and i wanna be like her)

I have an unfinished list of my senior competitions here (for the sake of plot i kinda made it so the covid restrictions on the 2020/21 season didnt happen for the junior competitions, only seniors, also kamila and i dont compete together before the olympic season) and yes ofc i win everything bcs as i said op af (also i know some of the competitions overlap so idk how im gonna do that yet, if anyone has an idea pls feel free to tell me haha)

for jumps i have all quads (yes including 4A cos im just that good lmao) and im playing with the idea (actually i put it already but its prolly impossible so im unsure if i should put it) of scripting i have a quintuple jump as well at some point.

Im really not knowledgeable on different spins i just scripted theyre centered and i dont have a lot of movement on the ice during them idk if thats how you say it but like i spin in one place and dont move to the left or right a ton

Then like some stuff that goes without saying, i have good technique, i dont get hurt badly, i dont have any long term problems from professional skating, stuff like that

My s/o is ilia malinin but since hes born in 2004 we dont get together for a while. We meet either at a competition or during my exchange year in the us in 2024 (my host family lives in the same state he does and we train at the same rink while im there) and then like slowburn friends to lovers pining everyone-knows-except-them kinda stuff (i really do love torturing myself in that aspect apparently)

Some other stuff i can think of rn is that my nickname is 'golden girl' or 'germanys golden girl' idk just smth i came up with (if you have any other ideas pls tell me haha unfortunately im uncreative af when it comes to stuff like that)

also you mightve noticed im technically too young to do senior competitions in time for beijing but i just decided to script that they make an exception for me for some reason haha

I can speak 4 languages, German, English, Russian (bcs of my coach) and Spanish

I get along kinda good (as well as you can as competitiors) with the Eteri Girls bcs we're similar age and my coach gets on kinda well with Eteri (they used to compete together except my coach is actually nice) and also i yk speak russian

oh also when i first get there its january 2022 so right before the olympics cos i wanna experience that not just in memory

soo yeah thats all i can think of for now again sorry for any inaccuracies or anything (wont apologize for op-ing myself cos thats what shifting is for after all ;) )

Volleyball update :D

(Spring 2024, February)

So I have moved up the volleyball ranks and are now playing on a second division team. I most likely wont play so much in official matches...since I'm a rookie. That is fine, I'm not ready or comfortable yet to play competitive like that with the new lineup and my skills.

On the new team, we use system. That was why I wanted to move to this group. We had only touched on it before, but the practices were becoming a little monotone with how we usually had our practices. Not to be cocky, but on my last team; I was one of the best players ( mostly because I had played the longest). There was a lot of new players, which meant that we all were on different levels and thus we needed to find a type of practice that all could do.

With system, each player has a set position and we play accordingly...so that makes us moved differently from the normal "school rotation". It's a lot of fun to learn, but also very hard. Since we need to move so much around during the rally and make sure we stand correctly when the ball gets served or spiked. I'm slowly getting the hang of the rules. But let me tell you all, the first few times I played like that, I needed a lot of guidenes and I moved incorrectly. I moved to the front at the wrong time and basically cost my side the point, haha. My team mates are supporting and since I'm new; we all are expecting that I make more than a few mistakes in the start. Now a few weeks on the team; I'm slowly understanding more of it. Sometimes I need help to know where exactly I need to be- but once I know that, the rest is easy!

BUT! Guess what positions I get to play as?!

I'm setter!!!! Like the position I have wanted to play in since I started. I have even gotten a lot better at my backward sets and even middle sets. It's a lot of fun. It is still hard. Sometimes, during one rotation; I forget that I don't have a player in front, behind me. I set to "them" and no one can take the ball, since they can't get to it in time to fix my mistake! Haha, but it's very fun to play setter when I get it right. Setter isn't that much of a popular position to play but, I always loved it. It's fun to play and spike the ball and score points. Yet; it's a lot more fun to give a perfect set and see the spiker score a point. That is why I have always loved setting. It's just so giving when I get it right. Luckily for me, there are two other setters on the team that can give me pointers and help me!

I also have progressed a lot with my serves. I still have some that just go out-of bounds. If I really get into it; I can get a lot over in one go. I also have this thing that my first serve will get over and on the second I'm either too confident or something and I just send it to the net or out on the sides. They're coming together slowly. When I feel like I have the hang of it; I will either see into float serves or jump serves.

I also have some knee injuries. Just overtrained, but they hurt. I actually went to a physical therapist and got some help to build them up again. I had like a one and a half month break from volley during the christmas break and my knees stopped hurting. I went to one practise and honestly though my knees were more or less good to go. Or that it would at least taken a few weeks or months before the injury would come back. Well, it took like that one practise for me to reset my recovery. I'll think I just see how it goes and keep up the rehabilitation workouts with my knees. While playing setter isn't too much jumping, it can be a lot of twist and turns for the knees when running to the right place on the court. I'm fine when I play, it's just after practises it hurts. So well, I just see how it goes and take it from there!

We just had an internally tournament in the club. All team can participate and they make new teams across the teams so we get to know the whole club. It's mix volleyball and a lot of fun. My team got fourth place in the whole tournament. The nice thing about this tournament, is that even when we have first division players that plays together with the newcomers- we all play fairly and just have fun. Of course, we all want to win; but we also want everyone to have a great time! I was very tired after the day, since it was like six hours together in the hall and playing and being referees back to back the whole time we were there. It's a good kind of tired though.

So there is that. I'm currently a rookie setter! It's a lot of fun and I can't wait until I get to learn more about playing as setter and helping my team mates in that regard!

okay well total drama has a LOT of obvious mistakes and most of them come from the time in which it was written and published and the rushed season of only 13 instead of 26 episodes starting with ROTI

i also feel like they treat their characters and ships very badly, making them go right back where they started if they ever get any growth, which rarely happens. or their development is too sudden and not believable. priya, max, scarlett, that mini-arc shasmine had about splitting the money, aleheather in TDWT, prileb in TD 2024...

i rewatched ROTI and the girls were mistreated horribly. what can you expect from a season where the finalists are two guys? dakota’s internal issues were never discussed further than a funny haha moment when dawn read her aura, dawn never got to do anything for her team and her elimination was rushed, jo’s internalized mysoginy was a haha joke and never adressed properly, zoey had a whole villain-and-back-to-hero arc and STILL didn’t make finale???

also i hate when they introduce some groups and never further develop them, or develop them very little. lindsay, beth and ezekiel could’ve been an ICONIC trio. i miss leshawna and gwen’s friendship so much, and same goes for bowie and emma. jo and brick had so much potential to become allies or at least frenemies, amy and sammy were not handled well, THE E-SCOPE TRIO!!! i’m in shambles

so if i wrote TDI i’d just give the characters some proper development, more moments to shine, more fun relationships with the others. this show is based on its characters, they’re the stars!! so why not make them shine instead of burn??

gen 1 is too much work to rewrite but i’d keep TDI about the same except have a leshawna vs gwen finale, with leshawna as a ‘canon’ winner. TDA would have a harold vs lindsay finale with harold as the ‘official’ winner.

in TDWT i’d cut the duncney-gwuncan arc, make duncan never come back cuz fuck that guy, gwourtney wins. sierra gets better development. noah makes merge and fulfills his schemer role, constantly sabotaging alejandro. they become frenemies. aleheather still wins and goes to finale. alejandro doesn’t get the robot costume and we don’t hear from him again until TDAS.

for ROTI, would make jo a proper antagonist and make her butt heads with scott when the merge happened. my final six for ROTI would be scott, jo, zoey, brick, lightning and anne maria. yes, brick and anne maria, you read that right.

i still think scott shouldn’t make finale, and jo only if she got development. so maybe the merge could happen just two episodes earlier to get more stuff out of them, so the merge would include cameron and mike. scott would go before jo, and jo would be left to fend for herself after scott got cameron eliminated. this is where i would make her develop a friendship with anne maria and brick. get zoey in there and you have the anti-scott alliance. they get him out (NO TRAUMA CHAIR NEEDED, HE WILL BE FINE) and then lightning, then the girls unite against brick. sorry man.

the finale would be between two of the girls, i’d like to see jomaria or joey fight, jo needs that development. the one who gets out previously is an insta-elimination and not decided by the others.

and voilá! jo gets development and some healthy friendships! her and brick could also get together but maybe in another season. this season is for her alone to shine, she deserves it.

oh, and that’s the main thing about ROTI - i’d give them two more seasons. they deserve a WT-esque season.

i’d completely rewrite TDPI. make rodney first diss when the girls are disgusted by him (and also shit him cuz fuck him), dave an earlier boot, get beardo like third or fourth cuz i wanna see more of him, give scarlett a proper character arc instead of a rushed one throughout just one episode, make max a bit smarter and let him become a ‘hero’ rather than a villain he wants to be by rescuing everyone from scarlett since he knows her weaknesses best...

my ideal final five are shawn, jasmine, max, topher and ella. also my five favorites so no wonder. i’ll explain their arcs.

topher - 5th: shawn and jasmine, as well as max and ella, become duos after the scarlett incident (maybe it happens earlier?), and topher is outside of any alliance. plus he was getting kinda annoying, not to mention he gave chris too many ideas for challenges. damn it, topher!

ella - 4th: when she is forbidden from singing, she still goes behind chris’ back and does it, only that she intercepts sugar’s note and burns it. sugar is an earlier boot than originally because ella realizes she just hates her guts and she’s trying to befriend her for nothing. when ella stops singing, she puts her head in the game more than usual, but her refusal to hurt animals and serenade them instead gets her out eventually, by chris, not by the others.

max - 3rd: with no alliance and a softer spot than usual, he gets out at his own, last challenge.

finale: shawn vs jasmine

the same conflict about splitting the money, only that it comes earlier and is developed more. for one, chris shows jasmine the confessionals right after max’s voting ceremony.

shawn’s helper ends up being ella, but she’s been watching from playa des losers and is unhappy with how shawn treated jasmine. meanwhile, max is jasmine’s helper. max and jasmine sabotage shawn, ella doesn’t help him, but then when max and ella are given the controls for the island, they both realize the gravity of what they’ve done when they see shawn and jasmine buried in snow.

both jasmine and shawn get an ending. in both endings, jasmine gets out of the snow, doesn’t pay attention to the finish line, and goes to search for shawn, who pops out in confusion. the two have a heart-to-heart interrupted by chris to announce the race is still happening, and they have ten seconds left. in shawn’s ending, jasmine just nods to him and he crosses; in jasmine’s ending, shawn insists she crosses. pretty similar endings, the outcome is about the same, but i like to think jasmine’s is the ‘canon’ one.

and then they get another season!

so, our seasons are...

gen 1 - 3 seasons: total drama island, total drama action, total drama world tour

gen 2 - 3 seasons: total drama revenge of the island, total drama retour, total drama cruise or lose

gen 3 - 2 seasons: total drama pahkitew island, total drama reaction

gen 1 x gen 2 x gen 3: total drama all stars

TDAS would include eight contestants of each generation. gen 1 gets heather, alejandro, owen, noah, gwen, courtney, sierra, and leshawna. gen 2 gets jo, anne maria, zoey, mike, brick, cameron, lightning and scott. gen 3 gets shawn, jasmine, topher, max, ella, sugar, sammy and scarlett.

and then for the reboot i’d just make bowie win for the first season. the second season would have more development.

emma and bowie become friends again. mkulia become reluctant allies but still dislike each other. eventually they warm up to each other tho 👀. ripaxel also happens over the course of more episodes. couples butt heads - mkulia, rajbow and ripaxel - but mkulia dominate the game. short ripaxel-mkulia alliance in which they get out prileb (who have a better development trust), wayne and bowie.

damien gets to keep his immunity idol but doesn’t need to use it until the final five: axel, julia, mk, damien and raj. the girls unite against him, but he and raj voted for julia, so you can imagine mk is unhappy, but damien wins immunity. yikes.

so finale time is damien, raj and axel. everyone gets an ending, but damien is the ‘canon’ winner because HE DESERVED IT COME ON.

Virche Evermore -ErroR:Salvation- First Impressions 🥀

This will be my first time doing a first impressions post, since I started Radiant Tale before starting my blog, so quick rundown of how this works: I play through the prologue of a game (maybe part of the common route if a prologue is too short) and give my initial thoughts of the game and any love interests that appear. These posts are going to be relatively spoiler free for most the plot, but I won’t limit myself from spoilers of what I’ve seen for those who want to play a game completely blind. I am writing as I encounter things so if it seems all over the place then haha yeah it is!

Trigger/Content Warnings: violence, murder, suicide, body horror. Please be mindful of your triggers and don’t interact with this post if you’re not in the capacity to handle such topics! I’ve put a read more for those who would like to avoid these triggers. I am not aware of all the triggering content in this game yet, so please look up a full list if you feel the need!

For Virche Evermore, I played the prologue and Chapter 1 for this post. I am trying to do these posts before the first necessary dialogue choice, but because of how short the prologue was and how you only see 3 of the 6 LIs at that point I decided to wait until a bit later. I started playing January 15, 2024.

Also, I’ll note my most anticipated and least anticipated with the respective emojis: ✨ and 💥

General Thoughts

Oh my god this starts out so wild??? The prologue portion was INCREDIBLY short and I immediately saved after and it said Act 2 so was that Act 1? No clue. Anyways, this poor girl has gone through it. I feel so bad for Ceres. I don’t like that everybody but Salome ignores her essentially. Ok so I didn’t realize we’d be taking a Piofiore route of introducing religion but that’s fun. I struggle with games addressing religion sometimes because of some personal issues so I’m anticipating this game will take me a bit to get through like Piofiore: Fated Memories.

He seems very nice! He’s definitely one of the pretty boy characters and I have a stellar track record of picking those ones as my favorite. I did think he was wearing a dress at first and then was sad for 0.3 seconds when I discovered he wasn’t.

Ok so I started my thoughts here at the first official time he makes an appearance. Interesting, I like him more than I thought I would when I was just seeing his sprite. He’s got some braincells unlike most these people so that’s a win. What’s not a win is the older brother-little sister dynamic we have here! Cute for anybody that’s not a love interest! Something from seeing his sprite enough now, does the dude wear a shirt because it doesn’t look like it?

10: What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

I was happiest, I think, when writing my junhao fic! It gave me no end of trouble when I was trying to tie all the loose ends together, but when I was just writing the Vibes I had the time of my life!

15: Rec a fic you wrote or posted in 2023

I am going to recommend my jeongbin gym bros fic. I will be honest, the majority of this was written back in 2021 - but I wrote the last half and finished it up this year, so it still counts haha.

20: Share your favourite ending line

I'm going to cheat and give you three lines, but my favourite ending is the ending of my junhao fic - I had a lot of trouble trying to think of a good way to finish the story, but in the end, I think this fits quite well.

‘Soonyoung brought back a relic,’ Minghao says, carefully. ‘We won’t have to go back for a while. We could — ’ He stops, for a moment, tips his head all the way back. ‘We could do something. Or go somewhere.’ ‘How about,’ Junhui suggests, ‘somewhere very far from the sea.’ And Minghao looks at him, and slips his fingers into Junhui’s, and laughs.

22: Share an excerpt from your favourite scene

So this is another excerpt from my junhao fic because I had it open and it was the only thing I could think of haha. In this scene, I like the way Minghao's Oddness is expanded on, a bit, and the way they both know what they saw, but are pretending they didn't because it's safer that way. I don't know. Mostly it's the vibes.

And it’s — really nice, actually, standing here in the kitchen with Minghao, getting dinner ready and talking about nothing much, and Junhui is finally feeling like Minghao might be softening towards him, just the slightest. And then Minghao’s knife slips. And it goes deep into his finger. And he pulls it out, and Junhui scrabbles for some bandages, but when he finally finds some, Minghao’s finger is fine. It’s not bleeding. Or — there’s no blood, but there’s water, a lot of it, and Minghao’s shoulders go up to his ears when he takes the bandages from Junhui and tries to sort his finger out himself. Junhui feels faint. ‘You’re bleeding,’ he informs Minghao. Informs his mind, his traitorous mouth. He knows what saltwater smells like. ‘You’re bleeding, there’s so much blood.’ And he takes Minghao’s finger and keeps his eyes studiously on the floor as he dips it into the basin and bandages it up. ‘There was so much blood,’ Junhui insists, once he’s done. He doesn’t want to think about it. He won’t. Minghao looks at him, once, quickly, searchingly. He’s pale. Junhui does his best to drain the seawater from his eyes. ‘Blood everywhere,’ Minghao mumbles. He turns away from Junhui. Lets Junhui nudge him out of the way and wash the herbs. ‘I saw it,’ Junhui tells the pans, and they finish cooking in silence.

24: What's something that surprised you while you were working on a fic? Did it change the story?

So this year, Versity and I wrote a fic together. I've never collabed on a story before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well our writing styles meshed, and how fun (and funny) she was to write with, and how smoothly the whole process went! Our finished story was very much something I wouldn't have come up with by myself, so I suppose you could say it changed the story?

30: What's something that you want to write in 2024?

Allow me to tell you about an idea I had a few hours ago, after we talked about Descendants earlier haha. Jafar briefly turns into a genie at some point in the original movie, and I thought - what if Jay was a little bit genie, too? He wouldn't necessarily know, on the Isle, since the barrier blocks their magic and all. So in 2024 I'd like to write a fic exploring that, how Jay might discover his genie magic in Auradon, how it might work. Also - I don't know if you've read J M Barrie's Peter Pan, but good form/bad form is a huge thing to his Hook (his Hook went to Eton, if my memory serves me correctly), and I thought it'd be very interesting to see what that might mean for Harry Hook, especially given the general lawlessness of the Isle.

thank you ALSO for this question cuz uehhhhh i feel pretty emotional over my writing journey this 2023. i didnt write as much as i wanted, but im still proud of myself for what i managed to get out

the fic i enjoyed writing the most this year has got to be, hands down, growing pains

(yes i will shamelessly self promo it HAHA, it's the fic im proudest of writing this year!! to anybody out there hasnt read it, if you do read it, itd mean the world to me)

while this fic didnt do numbers or anything, it's the one fic that i'd been wanting to write basically ever since i learned of marius' family's lore and his backstory. it was an idea that i kept in my head for the longest time, and finally being able to write it was so rewarding. the comments i got on the fic too, both on the fic or from people telling me or from aRT INSPIRED BY THE FIC (CHIKA IF UR OUT THERE, KNOW THIS ART LIVES IN MY HEART!!), it all made me so so so grateful and happy. just goes to show that theres no such thing as too late to write a fic idea ;w; someone out there will always be able to resonate with the story ;w;

as for 2024......i....actually dont wanna be writing very much anymore, if im being honest ;w;

i know i just posted a wip of a christmas fic but after some reflection ive come to the conclusion that! writing isnt making me very happy lately if im being honest HAHA. and life is too short to waste on things that make me feel upset. the only reason im writing right now is because it feels like homework, which....isnt a great way to think about a hobby thats sposed to be bringing me joy.

maybe one day in this upcoming year, the joy to write will come back and i'll ferally work on a wip with passion and gusto again. but until then, take this ask as me taking an informal hiatus from fics and most hcs

as with most of the playlists i make, some songs are readily applicable, some just have the right Vibe, some are sorta funny... and in yuichi's case, there's a lot of a rain theme going on lol

(also, some are ones from my own tourabu mood playlist that i just had to bring over)

because i've always wanted to do this i'm gonna go through all the songs and maybe explain why i put it there or something?? yolo! playlist guide under the cut lol

Dreamcatcher - Full Moon this is a song from dc to their fans on their first anniversary lol, so the themes of a somewhat-new bond are pretty relevant!

Seventeen- Campfire do i even need to explain? sobs this song makes my heart warm ... just thinking about yuichi & all the toudans sitting around a campfire having *sniffles* precious moments... ; A;

Rihanna - Umbrella LMAO this one is very on-the-nose but also just thinking about it's hilarious, i couldn't resist. (plus like... it's a jam. also lyrically it actually does fit!)

Dreamcatcher - Boca be prepared to see a lot of dreamcatcher w/me, they're my Favorite(TM). anyway Boca is about protecting someone from harsh words (better translation is "if those thornlike words / start to hurt you / i won't let them open that boca (mouth)") AND has a very rainy/stormy atmosphere which makes it perfect. yes i know my toudans are Sword Warriors yes i still want to protect them as best i can!! (it's more about like. bullying and hate but yknow. similar sentiments...shhh...)

The Weather Girls - It's Raining Men ...............i don't think i need to explain myself on this >.> (THO HAHA IMAGINE IF THIS WAS HOW SWORDS MANIFESTED IN HIS HONMARU i'm dead)

ToppDogg -Annie (Anniversary) another 'anniversary' type song, i think it speaks for itself. saniwa💙toudans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clean Bandit - Rather Be lyrically, yes!! being a saniwa is not an easy or peaceful job by any means but yuichi wouldn't want to be anywhere else <3 also the song makes me think of rainy/cool moist days!

Seventeen - Home seventeen shows up a decent amount too, but what can i say? the songs fit lol. saniwa-toudan relationships might not always be 100% sunshine and rainbows, but... they are home, no?

Twice - Feel Special GOD. this song came out while i was very into tkrb a few years ago and so that plus the song itself made me actually cry when i first watched it lol. it's so fitting though, i think from toudan or yuichi's perspective. for yuichi, he clearly struggles with his self-worth, and is...well, he's no stranger to a breakdown. but ... he's got so many touken danshi around him who love him

Girls' Generation - Talk Talk no explanation needed methinks! <3 just comparing a love to the rain

SF9 - The Beat Goes On okay this song is just like... pure beach episode, everyone gathering in the sunset and having a great time being free with each other. i include it on so many playlists where i just want to imagine a joyful time with the whole cast of whatever, it just has to go here too, even if you'd be hard-pressed to get yuichi on a beach lol

Yuju - Play this is just strictly for the vibes. i don't know that yuichi has someone who dipped and hurt him like that (but it could be interesting i guess lol). the song just is perfect for the rainy atmosphere

Dreamcatcher - Piri i told u prepare for dreamcatcher lol. anyway this song is literally about like... depression and getting to a point where you need a lifeline. very yuichi, unfortunately

New Politics - One of Us another "do i even need to explain?" song ;u; it's definitely on my tkrb playlist lol. also the lyric video is kinda fun lol imagining it as different toudans at the table

Gfriend - Summer Rain just very nice rainy vibes.

Super Junior - Why I Like You this song (the whole album really) has always given me rainy/humid vibes. but also... love <3 (ofc not necessarily romantic in yuichi's case! but yknow what i mean)

Flo Rida - My House almost a joke addition but like... also almost not a joke LOL

David Cook - Come Back to Me okay this song is tkrb playlist because it's like... 100% kiwame send-off vibes. i initially added it after watching hanamaru, thinking about kashuu sending off yasusada, but i think it also suits most sendoffs very well. i wanna cry. sobs....

SF9 - RPM So I don't have a good reason for adding this to yuichi's or my tkrb playlist other than it makes me think of using time travel to go on a mission. also i just REALLY like the song... and listening to it with the rain going is mmmwah *chef kiss*. just imagine a team going up to the [time travel device] all ready to fucking GO, looking all badass in the mist and shit. and then PPEPWWW they go! and now they're ready to fuck shit up (to un-fuck the timeline)... it's the VIBES AGAIN

Darren Hayes - Bloodstained Heart no words needed <3

Dreamcatcher - Over the Sky another anniversary fan song from dc! this song just makes me so happy and like. energized. spring time. anime conventions. so it's on my tkrb playlist, but it's also a sweet and fun song so, yknow, puts it on.

Ravi - Lean on Me is this yuichi talking to a toudan? or a toudan talking to yuichi? or ? who knows, but either way, i like it. sweet and reliable.

Seventeen - Thanks just... a song about being so grateful to know and love someone.

Major Lazer - Cold Water (the one song with justin bieber i listen to unironically lol)

Seventeen - Holiday oh man just LISTEN to it, even without the lyrics it's just like. fun!! party!! chill!!

SF9 - Bibora a jam. a rainy jam. but also maybe some parts of it speak to yuichi.

Dreamcatcher - Reason yet another anniversary song from deukae but it fits. through all the triumphs and hardships, despair and joy, the toudans in this citadel have become his whole reason for being and they inspire him to keep going and do better and be someone they can depend on and be proud to call their saniwa.
