Well well well leave it to LGL to sniff out my behind the scenes plans…

What I WILL tell you is that I’m kind of going by what I laid out for the modern Darlingtons in this post. The timing isn’t quite right (since everyone has grown since I first wrote that and the timeline/ages need to be shifted accordingly) but it still gives you an idea of what everyone may be doing and where they are in this universe.

Now unfortunately that means your favorite lesbians are not together in this au, and we won’t be seeing George. However, I think I have a pairing that may make it up to you, dearest LGL.

I am normal #WHICH SPEAKING OF! man I love the sholmes + mikotoba partner twist so much even if i got a bit spoiled about it. i just think they're neat.#The partners of all time I think.#Also also the found family!?!?!? I am A SUCKER for found family. they fed me so well.#funny thing was the barok character development surprised me despite the fact that I also expected it since the first game lolol.#I do think he's an interesting character and probably one of the best character development in the game. And that I find his design cool.#oh yeah I didn't draw it but when I saw that albert mentioned that barok is “the darling of the van zieks family” I was genuinely like.#huh? wdym. like man at the time “van zieks” and “little darling” feels wrong in the same sentence. that was until I saw his pre-#-trauma pictures n well. albert isn't wrong. which was a slight surprise to me.#In conclusion: I liked it a lot. and now occupies parts of my brain along with my other brainrots.#They fight for priority in my brain whenever I try to sleep or disassociate lol. Today I started playing minish cap for the first time and I pretty much almost teared up when you first shrink... Why are you like two pixels tall... If you roll you go so ridiculously far... And the minish are so tiny... They got such a cute tail... They turn to look at you... Smol friendly rats... Everything is so cute this game already broke me

#Been wanting to play it for like +1 years but I wanted to finish totk first #I haven't finished it yet xDD but I gave up on it. it was rly hard for me to enjoy it #anyways I completed the first dungeon!!! That was fun #and this time I didnt get stuck on the first puzzle like in skyward sword lol (that games generally easy but I dont shine for my brightness #I thought the barrel thing was so cool. I'm a simple woman #I meant +1 year I'm not going back to fix that #kiiiiiiiiinda sucks that since I got back to LU I have gotten spoiled some things. could've avoided that if I played it sooner #buuuut life goes on I'm sure I'll get a lot of nice surprises

we've had a death in the family (a long expected one, to be clear, but sad nonetheless :( ) and the funeral is across the country on the day after veilguard releases, so my wait now has a few more days added to it. oh well if I've waited ten years I can wait until the monday after launch haha

#my great uncle had been sick for years so it wasn't a surprise but he was still the baby of the bunch to a flock of sisters #I feel sad for my grandmother and great aunts in the middle of all of this #having to deal with burying their little brother and figuring out what to do with the family farm and everything :( end of an era stuff #the ONE week of the year I've been looking forward to for the last decade tho fhsdkjas it's genuinely a bit funny #thwarted at the last moment #deciding to take it as a little period to gain some information and more to work with that can enrich my experience when I play!#like finally hearing more of the american voices to decide which one to go with and understand more what they're doing thematically etc.#really hone that rook headcanon game into the frequency that will most fuck me up before I jump in lol #maybe even be more sure what romances would fit best #typically I don't mind being spoiled at all (often I even prefer it b/c I'm bad at processing emotion in the moment)#so hopefully I'll be able to be part of the community feeling a bit at least second hand before I get to it myself!
