#digimon cybersleuth#worst part is#if i didnt spent over forty hours with the characters then the reveal would have had such a smaller impact#if you see chapter 17 in isolation it would come off as weird even cheesy and silly#you need to mentally befriend the characters and that took me 50 hours#also a family can be a totally normal human detective#and assistants friends from a chatroom(and they get along just fine theres no tension noo problems arise from personalities or backstories)#and something something theseus ship vs the golden pavillion in japan
