Couch tickles- Bucky x Reader

Warnings: Tickle fic lol

Summary: You, Sam and Bucky came back from a mission and you had the balls to tickle the super solider while he rested his eyes ;)

It was a hard day, You, Sam and Bucky had all been sent out on a mission, saving people wasn't easy work. And as a teenager, almost adult, your powers and training hadn't come to their full advantage yet.

Bucky and Sam both seemed happy though, no wonder. They made you do most of the heavy work seeing as you had telekinesis and a few more powers to do with the Elements. So whilst holding things, vines- small ones but still- would help trip the baddies over and tangle them up in vines.

You were all now entering the compound, you had a sullen face whilst the other two men were joking around.

"What's up doll?" Bucky asked, he stood next to you while Sam stood next to him. He chuckled and patted your shoulder.

"I am so never going on missions with you two again" you rolled your eyes when the two laughed at your grump.

"Oh you love us really" Sam teased.

"Oh I definitely do not" you teased back as they pretended to take offense.

You had all entered the main living room and kitchen area. Seems like the rest of the Avengers were doing their own things.

Sam walked over to the kitchen side and put on the coffee machine, offering Bucky a coffee even though he'd never drink it because it never really worked on him. You stared at Sam as he tried to hide his smirk.

"You not offering me anything then?"

"Oh sorry y/n, I forgot you were here!" Sam exclaimed.

You rolled your eyes as you watched him pour out two coffees and hand you one. Buck had already found his way onto the centre of the couch, flopped out with his arms over the back of the couch, leaving perfect access to his underarms as he wasnt looking.

Sam walked over, and just as he did you fluttered your finger tips into the super soldiers armpits as he clamped down looking around at which one of you had done that.

Sam raised his hands in defence, but as the brilliant actor you were, you told him to stop lying and why he had done that even though Bucky had had such a tough day.

"I did not do that! I dont mess with the super soldiers when theyre playful" Sam chuckled, slightly nervous even though he had done nothing.

"Own up now or else"

"Or else what old man?" You asked sitting on a separate couch sipping your coffee. Bucky watched you as a smirk slid it's way onto his face.

You placed your coffee on the coffee table then sat in some strange position where your head was leaning over one armchair and your legs dangled off the other, you whined for someone to pass you the remote, oblivious to the super soilder plotting his revenge.

Bucky threw over the remote and you put on some random show, watching it upside down.

Bucky motioned for Sam to go over to your legs, Bucky then stood up and brought your attention to him as he stood tall above you, coughing to get your attention.

"So you didn't tickle me?" His smirk hidden away now as he questioned you.

"Mm-mm" you shook your head, trying to concentrate on the tv.

"You're a terrible liar y/n, you're worse than Steve when we were your age" In an instant arms wrapped around your legs and Bucky had jumped around your torso, you were pinned to the chair in your awkward position, trying to wiggle free.

"UGH! YOU'RE SO HEAVY!" Was the automatic response, in which you wished never had left your mouth.

"Wow, okay doll now you're gonna regret it" Bucky placed his hands on your sides, the coldness and sudden touch made your body tense up as you glared into his eyes.

"Wait- wait dont-" you nervously begged, your words mumbling over each other.

Bucky's hands started to mould at your sides, making you push at his arms and back your head into the couch trying to hide your giggles as they build up into your throat. Your throat humming so that it wouldn't escape.

"What's wrong y/n? I'm just trying to mould you. A naughty kid should do as they're told!" He taunted as his moulding hands made their way up onto your bottom ribs. You squeezed your eyes closed and shook your head, trying to stop your laughter from escaping. Sam had long let go of your legs now and was standing back recording this embarrassing moment on redwing.

Bucky used his thumb and index fingers to twirl around your bottom ribs for a moment before sighing. The tickling had stopped for a few seconds so you looked up at him.

"I guess this just isnt working. Maybe this?" He then motioned sam over to hold up your arms making you squeal and beg.

"No- no sam! Sam dont you dare! SAM!"

Bucky then placed his hands at the top of your ribs and gently dragged his hands down your ribcage, wiggling his fingers lightly causing giggles to escape your mouth.

When it came to tickling with Bucky, the last thing he would do was lightly tease you. And usually when he was playful he'd have you around first. not only was it torturous, but EXTREMELY embarrassing even though ever avenger had seem you in this or much worse state.

"Buhuhuckyyyyyhehe! Nohoho!" You begged, trying to hide your blushing face in your arms.

Then bucky changed his tactic and started to scribble in your armpits while you werent looking, you squealed and began kicking wildly at him.

"BUCKKKK!!!" Your laughter became louder as the giggles tried transforming into laughter. You squealed and kicked, trying to hid your head in your arms but failing miserably.

"Yes y/n? What?" He continued to scribble in your under arms while looking at you questionably as though nothing was happening.

"NAHA PLEEEEASEEEHE" You began giggling like a psychopath, trying to wiggle out of someones grip. Bucky then in a split second moved his hands to your sides and tasered them, his fingers vibrates into your sides right below your ribs and you squealed/screamed in ticklish agony.

"NAHAHA NOOOHOHO BUCKYYYY!!!!!" You wacked your head back and forth and Bucky slowed down his tickles moving to your ribs, he brought his head to yours and whispered taunting things in your ear.

"Aw, does that tickle? Are they tickwish? Tiny Tickwish Tomato aren't you?" Taking the mick out of your now bright red face. He blew around your ear and neck to make you want to scrunch down to stop it but couldn't thanks to his head being there.

Bucky was now lightly tickling your sides and belly, very gently caressing your clothes causing a thousand unstoppable giggles to pour out of your body, you weren't sure how much more you could take. Your face was already bright red and you were already embarrassed enough.

"I think we've got to do one last thing before we let you go" Bucky taunted as now a single finger had started outlining your belly button, causing more giggle mixed laughter to follow the room. You hadn't realised what he was talking about before you felt him lifting up your shirt. You screamed and squealed, wiggling and bouncing. Anything g to stop the oncoming torture.

"BUCKY OH MY GOD PLEASE!!!"

"As you wish"

You squealed as his lips made contact with your belly button, he blew a large raspberry making your entire body convolce.

"AHGGG IM GOHAHAHANNA KILL YOUHOHOHO-" Your laughter went silent after he had blown a secret second raspberry to shut you up.

The only thing he hadn't realised was your powers knew when you needed help- sometimes anyway.

And having the power of the elements, well let's say vines are very useful.

Into the breach

US law enforcement has literal centuries of shameful history of infiltrating and spying on politically disfavored activist groups, from trade unionists to suffragists to abolitionists to civil rights advocates to antiwar advocates.

Long before Cointelpro, federal agencies were intercepting communications and embedding as provocateurs in radical political movements, often with the help of mercenary "contractors" like the Pinkertons. The digital age only ramped up this public-private surveillance.

The Dakota Access Pipeline protests were infiltrated and surveilled by beltway bandits who billed the US taxpayer handsomely for the service.

2020's BLM uprising was subjected to the full array of military and national intelligence surveillance: drones, IMSI catchers, mass interception, infiltrators, wiretaps, "reverse warrants" to recover location data from Big Tech monopolists and more.

And yet, federal and local agencies were seemingly totally unprepared for a mob of thousands of armed terrorists who stormed the capitol, disrupted the transition of presidential power, and threatened the lives of US legislators as well as the integrity of state documents.

The thing is, the plans were in plain sight. For weeks, I've been seeing screengrabs from far-right forums that leaked onto public social media in which violent psychopaths laid out detailed plans to commit murder and overthrow the government.

I wasn't even looking for this stuff. I was on vacation and only cursorily checking the internet. But it was obvious. How obvious? Well, the President was the keynote speaker at the riot and he openly called for violent insurrection. That might have tipped the cops off.

Since 1999's Battle of Seattle, cops have acted like pants-wetting cowards at the first whiff of protest.

2017's plan for dozens of paralyzed, wheelchair-using Medicare For All activists to peacefully occupy the capitol begat violent police panic.

But when armed terrorists followed through on their widely proclaimed plan to invade the capitol building yesterday, law enforcement foundered. They weren't just unprepared to stop terrorists for breaking in, they were also unprepared to deal with them after the break-in.

There's a lot of fingerpointing today between the agencies, with a starring role for the US Capitol Police, who get $460m/yr (10% of Congress's total budget) and have demanded a stonking increase for 2021.

Trump himself is a white nationalist. A significant proportion of US police might be tempted to abet a coup to perpetuate the rule of a despot who promises them a free hand to torture and brutalize, and who backs white supremacy.

The failure of US law enforcement to prevent yesterday's botched coup will have long-term, ongoing consequences. While most of the terrorists were Qanon-addled fools, it's impossible to rule out some of them being sophisticated enough to attack the Capitol's IT systems.

Resecuring the Capitol's IT infrastructure should probably involve shredding every device, cable and thumb-drive, tearing open every light-socket and power-outlet, and even then, it will be hard to fully trust the building and its systems.

My 2020 novel ATTACK SURFACE has a B-plot that closely tracks yesterday's attacks; complicity between far-right insurrectionists and palace guards, and massive breaches of official covert IT systems after the government falls.

I'm not the only one who fictionalizes attacks like this. Within hours of the attacks, right wing conspiratorialists were calling it a false flag and describing their colleagues in the videos as secret antifa infiltrators.

The narrative aftermath of this is gonna be *wild*.

Take the War of 1812. Many commentators have invoked that war - in which enemy forces burned down the White House - in discussing yesterday's assault. But what most Americans don't know is that they are told a highly parochial version of that war-story.

Americans think the War of 1812 was fought with the British, and that the US won. Meanwhile, Canadians believe that the War of 1812 was fought between the US and *Canada*, and that *Canada* won.

Vargulf |Roman Godfrey

Summary: There have been another set of murders in Hemlock Grove and all the evidence is pointing to it being another vargulf. Your brother Peter, your boyfriend Roman and yourself are all on the hunt for it so that the deaths come to a stop.

You listened quietly, sat on the sofa in your little old caravan as Peter and Roman spoke. There had been deaths, a dozen or so. They were murders, of boys and men. None of them seemed to have a strong link that connected them. Death wasn’t unusual in Hemlock Grove, but most of this evidence wasn’t adding up.

“It’s a fucking vargulf, I'm telling you man." Roman was clearly stressed about the situation, they had already dealt with one sick werewolf. And now another was ripping male anatomy off, letting them bleed to death. It couldn’t have been more inhumane.

"Shee-it, I think you're right." Peter raked his hands through his hair. Christina had became a werewolf because of him, and now someone else decided to proceed with the transformation. It was always a risk for a newcomer into wolf territory, they had already been sick enough to turn themselves into a monster.

You frowned. Christina had been a nice girl, and it made you think that this new Vargulf could be disguised as anyone. "How are we supposed to find it?" You hated the thought of having to search for a blood thirsty monster, but it would be the only way to stop it.

“Bait.” Roman answered, coming to sit down beside you. Peter only shook his head in thought.

“We can’t do that, at least not yet. We don’t know why it’s targeting these guys.” Roman only smirked, and then commented.

“Then we’ll just have to find a way to piss it off.” That would be difficult, seeing as none of you knew who it was, but Roman did a pretty good job naturally at annoying people. His rich boy attitude got to everyone.

“Great idea, and then you’ll get killed.” You said, rolling your eyes at his stupidity. “Maybe it’s after revenge of some sort, it might know the victims.”

“Well there’s a wide gap between all of them, so we can’t be certain.”

Destiny stiffened from where she stood leaning over the table that held a newspaper. The paper detailed all of the recent deaths, the ones the assumed vargulf had committed. She looked at Roman in particular.

"Can you clear your mind Godfrey, your thoughts are distracting." This only built confusion in Peter's mind. How could ones thoughts be that loud. "

“What's he thinking about?" Your brother asked, opening his blue eyes to look at Destiny. It was bugging her enough to implement her magic.

“You don’t want to know.” As she said that she looked in between of you and Roman. His imagination was very vivid, too much for her liking. It was creating a barrier in the room so that she couldn't access the things that the pair of boys had missed in their freaky dreams.

"Is it relevant?" Peter held out hope. They couldn't miss a trick, even if it was of the mind. There could be a clue, a detail of aid, something that could point them in the right direction to search.

"No." Destiny cringed, not being able to help seeing Roman's desire to have his hands all over your body. You were her cousin, she didn't want to see the intimacy that was strung between you and your boyfriend. That was for you too alone, but it was Godfrey's fault for keeping it replaying in his mind.

She knew she'd regret it, but she searched as Peter had wanted her to. And then she saw it, on your naked body. Roman clearly hadn't noticed it, his mind was too preoccupied with the thought of fucking you. But there was a scratch, running down your side. It looked as though it was given by another wolf, a viscous one that had turned on its own kind.

“Maybe.” Then your cousin turned, looking at you. “Lift your shirt.” When you hesitated, she did it for you, seeing the mark against your skin.

As she looked, so did you and the others. It was a wound, thinly dug into the skin but still there.

"What happened?" Roman asked quietly. He really hadn't even noticed it when he had been thinking about the nudeness of your body bit now his eyes were trained on it.

"I don't remember." You frowned.

Peter came closer, inspecting gashes in your skin. They weren't just cuts, they were claw marks.

The vargulf did this. It had to be it.

…..

It was a dead end. It all was. The pattern was broken for there was another body, and it was a girl. The first girl to have fallen victim to the vargulf.

Peter throws the newspaper onto the coffee table, Roman staring at it with beady eyes.

It held no answers, it only threw you all further off track. Perhaps there were no answers. Maybe it just wanted to drain the blood from the humans by clawing at their necks.

"This doesn't make any sense!" Your boyfriend exclaimed, reaching into his coat pocket for a cigarette and a lighter.

He lit it, taking a deep drag to calm himself. You wished it was that easy for you, but it really wasn't.

"When does anything make sense in this town?" You asked rhetorically.

Although you werent seeking a counter response, you received one from your brother anyway.

"Go on." He gestured with both his voice and hand, taking a cigarette from Roman.

"Maybe it isn't supposed to make sense." You suggested, snagging a cigarette. You refrained from lighting it until your point got a cross. "I mean Christina killed because of different emotions. She was sick, and angry at her so called friends, and jealous of Letha. Perhaps this is the same."

The mention of Letha Godfrey dulled the room, but opened a chance for some optimism in the case.

For all any of you knew, you were right. There was a murderer, but it's intentions were not clear yet.

Shelley aimlessly wandered her family's grounds, admiring the beauty in nature. The roses were just beginning to bloom from the bushes, their frames hardened by the sight of protective thorns.

Out here, away from the world, it was quiet. Peaceful. There was no one to make judgements about her, or a reason to feel insecure. Like the roses, Shelley's appearance was toughened by thorns. No one liked the spiteful pricks but they tolerated them for the flower.

The girl continued to walk, but stopped once she had a twig snap. The sound was not the doing of either of her large feet.

Looking up, she saw a beast she had ran from before. A white wolf, watching her with its yellow eyes.

It was truly beautiful, but danger poisoned its aura. The animal tilted its furred head, licking its black lips before trotting through the hedges, presumably returning to its den in the woods.

Once it was gone, she went inside of her imprisoning home, rushing to the kitchen, the private one where her mother was smoking a cigarette.

"There was a wolf in the garden." She typed out, allowing the machine to talk for her.

Olivia hummed in reply, flicking the ash from the tip of the fag.

"It is a wild animal dear." Her voice was clear. "Let it do what it must to survive, even if it means crossing out land in the meanwhile."

This confused Shelley. Any other time, her mother would have called in a hunter to shoot the pest dead.

But not this time.

…..

A man rapped his fingers against the door of Godfrey manor, well aware of the badge that was tucked in his pocket. In response to his knocking a woman came to the door,slinking her slim and long frame upon the case of the doorway.

Olivia Godfrey. He had heard of this woman. Fierce. Beautiful. Enticing. Extremely wealthy. Dangerous.

There had been whispers in the woodwork of the town of her being the cause of missing persons. It seemed absurd to suspect a widow of such horrors, but she was not just a mourning wife.

She was a mother, not only to her children but to an extraordinarily large company. It was known as the white tower, but it held no purity in its blank walls. Only secrets in hidden rooms and a whole team serving away at her whim of command.

The front door opened, revealing a middle aged woman, glorified in a lacy black dress, unashamed of how she appeared to the stranger. Olivia could see his badge that was attached to his belt. It was clear that she had glanced at it, but she brushed her hair away from down the front of her shoulder and focused back on his face.

“What can I do you for officer?” She was suspicious of his presence, she leant against the door, making sure he was unable to peak inside of her home. But at the same time, she could not be seen as the villain. She had done nothing wrong anyway, or had Olivia had some involvement?

“As I’m sure, you have heard of the recent deaths.” Olivia’s cheeks hollowed and her arm trailed down her body and pulled the skirt of her dress down.

“Such a shame.” She admitted she had, shaking her head in pity. The investigator nodded his head in agreement, having felt the loss of the young lives when going over each piece of evidence of the victims.

“There has been word of people seeing a white wolf - again. You haven’t happened to see it prowling your grounds by chance, have you?”

Olivia furrowed her brow, thinking tentatively. “I can’t say that I have.” She answered, watching as hope fell from the stranger’s face.

“Would you call the station if you hear anything? As soon as we get a sighting, we’re going to put a bullet through the beast.” It almost sounded like a threat in Olivia’s eyes, but she knew it wasn’t. This man was scared of the dangers that hunted in nature, and was now creeping into the town and murdering humans.

“Of course I will.” She smiled at him, Once he turned and began walking away from her house, she shut the door, peaking through a window before returning to her guest, “Where were we?”

She discarded of her robe, as Norman sat on the couch, with a glass of scotch in his condemning hands.

Shelley lightly stepped back up the stairs, confused by her mother’s truth. Only mere hours prior she had told her mother of what she had seen in their large garden. A wolf had been looking at her, and then ran back off into whence it came. The woods.

Olivia had lied. But why?

….

A young man lay on the metal table, with ambient lights reflecting down onto his fatal wounds. Price took note of the individual teeth marks that were visible in his skin. He had heard of werewolves, via Olivia, who had told him of the pest that Peter was.

He was fine, examining the body in complete silence, other than his recorded points, but he shouldn’t have expected it to last. At least not in the Godfrey Tower.

The door to the private space was slammed open, by none other than the heir of the company himself. Roman. He had no regard for manners, Price thought. He did as he pleased, although he wasn't inherently to blame for that, he was raised under a roof where he was taught that was acceptable.

“Is that the last victim?” Roman had to ask, he could never be sure with Price’s experiments.

“You shouldn’t be here Roman.” His voice was monotone, unsurprised from the boy’s intrusion. It definitely wasn’t the first time that he had just waltzed into his workspace, that was for sure. Price sighed, looking at the teenager who was peering at the large bitemarks in the corpse. “Why are you here, did your mother send you?”

“No, I need answers.” He only earnt a shake of the head from the scientist.

“This matter is confidential Roman, I can’t tell you anything.” It was a part of the code that he had taken. This was business elevated in the roles of silence, and he wasn’t supposed to share the details that he had found or would find.

“Please.” It was a foreign word for him. “If that thing is out there, and it is a vargulf, the cops aren’t going to know how to stop it. But me and Peter can, so if you discover anything that could remotely help, you have my number.”

A knock came on the door. “Sir, there’s an officer here to see you.”

Price turned to Roman, looking at him with nervous eyes. “It’d be best if you left Roman, we don’t want you getting yourself into any further trouble.”

Huffing, Roman took one more glance at the body, sporting a disgusted expression as he did so. He was eager to find this mutated, sick werewolf and end it, not only for his family’s safety, but for the creature’s own mercy.

Roman walked through his door way into his bedroom, throwing his black coat to the floor. But when he looked up his bed wasn’t empty, you were seated on it, sporting one of his shirts and a worried expression.

“Where were you?” You stood, slowly gliding over to him, reaching up to cup his face. He was visibly tense, it was easy to see that his back wasn’t completely straight and his cheeks were puffed out from his vigorous breathing.

“Went to see Price, who is fucking useless like usual.” He went and sat on his bed, which you joined him on, stroking his tense shoulders. “He’s not even paying mind that it's a vargulf, how fucking dumb can one person be?”

“Maybe he doesn’t want you involved, because if you go headfirst into this mess, there’s a chance that Shelley will be pulled into it eventually as well. He cares about her, and in his own, silent way, about you too.”

Roman let the corners of his plump lips turn up at your words. “You really do know how to cheer a guy up, don’t you?”

At that you smirked, leaning closer to his porcelain ear, whispering into the suggestive canal. “Honey, there’s plenty of ways that I can cheer you up.” You tugged his earlobe between your teeth, prompting a growl to spark from his mouth.

“Get to it then Romaneck.” You shoved his shoulders from the front so that you had room to straddle the tall boy.

“Gladly.”

When you awoke, Roman was still asleep, softly snoring into the pillow whilst his nude body was covered by the white duvet. It brought a smile to your face to see him so relaxed, with the vargulf on the loose, he was stressing again. He thought he had to find it, that it was his responsibility to keep the whole town safe from any mythical threats.

But it wasn’t. He deserved to be a teenager, have no worries about the fact that you lived in a mobile home in the middle of the woods, or the fact that one day someone would try to hurt you or use you for what you were.

Groggily, you got up, making sure that Roman was still covered so that the cold wouldn’t wake him up. You went to the bathroom attached to his bedroom to brush your teeth, but you paused that thought as you looked into the mirror to see a part of you had somewhat aged.

A streak of white was in front of your face, it was a large section of your hair. This needn’t have worried Roman, and so you manoeuvred yourself out of his room quietly as to not wake him, and hurried down to the kitchen where you were met with the woman of the household sat, stirring her tea.

“Sweetie.” She gasped dramatically at seeing the strands. She stood walking towards you and taking the hair between her fingers. “We can fix this before anyone sees.” She reassures you, guiding you to the bathroom, grabbing a gold box from under the sink.

“Were you anticipating this?” You asked warily, watching as she emptied the (Y/H/C) dye into a small bowl.

“Of course I was, we have to delay this. You know what, after we sort this mess, I will arrange an appointment with Norman for you. He’ll help.”

She got a dye brush, and began combing the colour through your blank piece of hair.

To the both of your dismays, neither of you had heard Shelley coming down the stairs and into the kitchen. It was untimely, and unknown to the pair of you.

The scientist gripped his tweezers, plucking the ounce of evidence from the body. From initial sight, he could tell that the lost hair that he had discovered was human, and the complete opposite colour from the dead boy’s. His actions were glorified through speech as he recorded his process, ending with a full stop to complete his sentence.

He would have to get it analysed, so that the owner could be uncovered, and the monster behind the murders revealed. Once he removed his gloves, he took a hold of his cell phone, and called someone that he felt indebted to.

“Roman, it’s Price.” That was his opener, quite simple for the information that he was about to reveal. “I found a human hair on the body, belonging to another that is not the victim. I’m getting it tested, I will let you know the result later, once it has been processed.”

As he put the phone down, the door to the room was opened, by none other than the wolf that walked upon the sheep. “Yohan.” She greeted him broadly, and so he replied just as dryly.

“Olivia.” His voice drawled out her name, unimpressed with her timing. A Godfrey always managed to show themselves at the worst times, perhaps it was on purpose. It was in the majority's nature to be filled with the thrill of darkness and deceit.

“A little birdy told me that you found something on the body...” She didn’t clarify whom said snitch was, but she dragged her manicured hand along the counter, until she came to the see through bag that contained the single (Y/H/C) hair.

“Olivia, I cannot let you take that, it’s evidence.” He tried to reason with the woman, but he should have realised that that would have little to no affect.

Instead, she rose thin eyebrows at the man, and put her foot down with her ample excuse. “Is this not my company Price?” She used the power spell of control, and before he could divulge that her ownership only came through marriage, and that Norman and Roman were the true heirs, she was gone.

The evidence went with her.

The site of the caravan was an alienated space to Olivia, yet she still walked through the dead leaves and mud in her heels, until she reached the hammock, which you so happened to be seated in.

“It is done (Y/N), and now you can continue working for me, and earn yourself a little money.” She sat beside you on it, making it sway. “This was never my intention, to get you sick, I told you that you could stop anytime little one.”

She stroked your hair, resting her head upon it stoically. It was a strange exchange of contact for her, but she found herself not minding it. “We can try and get treatment for you though, to either delay or erase the aftermath of your forced transformations.”

At that you finally spoke up. “I don’t trust Price.” Yet somehow you trusted Olivia herself... “And that would be unnatural. Running off into the woods as a completely wild animal doesn’t sound so bad anyways, it would be like starting a new life and leaving this one behind.”

Your confession saddened her just a little. “If that is what you want, but I will tell you this now. I liked you the second that my son brought you in that door, you were better than any of those other girls that he dragged in for pleasure. He was enamoured with just the sight of you, sitting there at the kitchen table, thanking the butler and laughing with his sister.”

That would be one thing that you knew that you would miss. Roman. And then also your brother, Peter. But they could survive without you, they were both strong. They had moved on from Letha, so they could do the same with you.

Roman frowned when his phone call with Price ended. “It’s gone, our lead is no more.”

At his statement, Peter spoke up from where he was seated at Roman’s bedroom desk. “Surely it couldn’t just disappear.”

“It didn’t.” Was all Roman said before he stormed out of his room and began rushing down the stairs, to see his mother just walking in the front door. “You.” He accused her.

“Me?” She acted offended, placing a hand above her heart.

“You took the evidence of the vargulf.” Price had told him as much. The man had seen it with his own eyes, she couldn’t lie her way out of this one. Nothing said that she couldn’t dodge it though.

“It’s been pleasant to chat boys, but I have an appointment with your uncle.” And with that, she had retreated back through the front door.

Roman turned as he heard Shelley walking down the stairs, closest to Peter.

“Go back to your room Shells.” He sighed, annoyed with the fact that they had hit a dead end. But Shelley made no attempt to move, instead she took the tablet out in front of her.

“I’ve heard mother speak, I know who the vargulf is.” Both of their eyes went wide. Maybe they didn’t need to interrogate Olivia after all.

The man in uniform, that had started his career on a peculiar case rapped his knuckles against the gypsy’s door. This far out into the woods, someone would have been bound to see something.

The line was still faded to whether it was a person or an animal. But he was determined to find the truth, because no matter what was at fault, people were still dying.

The door opened, revealing a teenager with stark white hair. “Can I help?” Your legs bounced as you leant against the door frame. Your body was itching to transform again.

“Are your parents in?” At that you shook your head, thinking about the fact that your father was no longer in the picture. That made Peter the man of the house, the dominant one. You’d show him...

“No, but is there anything I can do to help?”

The inspector got out his notepad, preparing to scribble on it with any information that he could extract from you. “Do you know anything about the deaths? Like, have you seen a wild animal lurking around or such?”

With that, you stepped away from the door, allowing him space to enter, to which he did. “I’ll tell you everything that I know.” You smiled.

Or maybe you could show him.

Peter ran to his home after getting out of Roman’s car, seeing the inspector’s body mauled in the doorway, blood falling down the steps. But the body wasn’t alone, the wolf - you, were growling from inside the caravan, your newly white fur smeared with marks of red.

“(Y/N)?” Peter cautiously spoke. They had wanted to find the vargulf, but not like this. It was supposed to be someone else, not his sister.

You had no response to the name, but your head perked up at the sound of your boyfriend’s voice.

“Baby, it’s me. Roman.” He took a couple of strides forward, even though Peter had tried to pull him back. You tilted your furry head, slowly leaving the caravan and walking towards Roman. “Hey, it’s okay.” He told you, and you sniffed his hand, nudging it with your wet nose. “We can get you help, fix you.”

Roman pretended that he wasn’t crying, and went to kneel down in front of you, but Peter stopped him, triggering backlash from you. He had grabbed him by the shoulder, pulling him up, and in a quick motion, you bit Peter’s hand.

Blood was drawn, and you were spooked, and so you did the only thing your wild mind though to do. Run, deep into the forest, away from the pests that thought that they could treat you like a domesticated animal.

Why MC doesnt get her working phone back (part 1. Leo, Jean, Arthur, Sebastian)

At least, not til Comte finally caves and gets phones or laptops for the residents.

Listen, you werent sure why you still had service and access to the modern internet all the way back in the past. You were glad you could still check in on things and listen to that one song on youtube you liked... but maybe you, Sebastian, and Comte should have figured out what would happen after you found yourself explaining your little pocket computer to the boys. Comte is a blessing of a vampire and manages to track your laptop down during his tech shopping trip.

So here are reasons you dont see your phone as often as you’d like

Leonardo

As an inventor, he is fascinated by the phone. As an inventor, he is also fascinated by youtube’s DIY community and spends hours watching how people build things, the explanations on inventions, and likely the art restoration videos and other stuff dealing with old art. Likely spends a bit of time with discussions and videos talking about the pros and cons of different art materials and makes extensive notes on what toxic pigments exist and tbh Comte will have a shopping list on his desk and notes on what Vincent isnt allowed to have even when it comes into fashion. Maybe it wont effect them as much due to being vampires but.. nah. Best keep everyone safe. Leo also spends a good deal of time with cat videos, because of course he does. You see your phone occasionally, mostly when it is recharging. The library is even worse, as is his room during the first week of the DIY and invention youtube as there are scattered notes and ideas everywhere.

Comte compares notes with you on what Leo uses the most and gets a laptop for him. You arent too surprised when a tablet shows up later. Be it an art tablet like or something like an ipad, Leo scribbles his ideas on anything and you had wondered what he’d do when he discovered layers and a good erase tool.

Jean

Ok so you see your phone a lot more often when it comes to Jean, but you also sit down with him one evening in the library after offering to help him with his learning math and reading. You go over what the future technology can offer, and you eventually settle in next to him and find some good basic learning to read and math videos, websites, and other stuff. Sure, you may have personally subjected yourself to duolingo as you prepared for your trip to Paris, but maybe you will offer that later. The shy boy doesnt really ask for much else when it comes to what your phone can do, and honestly its charming to see him leaning over your phone’s screen as he stumbles through his lessons. You are reminded of those tumblr posts of actors in historical or fantasy garb using everyday tech.

Jean is quite happy to use your phone for the small things, so while Comte might not get him a device of his own, you end up with a set of bookmarks on your laptop ad maybe Jean gets his own Youtube or a playlist full of videos to help him, nestled quietly amid your own.

Arthur.

Oh god, Arthur. After ensuring he knows how to avoid his own famous creation on the endless internet, you... kinda dont see your phone ever again. He loves tumblr and all its drama, phrases, and the odds and ends of random info you can get as they float across your dash. You know for a fact he will likely get his own account the moment Comte returns with a laptop for him. He spends hours researching various medical stuff. Being the mansion’s doctor gives him a responsibility and he, like Leo, spends a good deal of time making notes on what advancements sound good at first but end up very damaging in the long run. Sebastian finds himself buying at lest two new notebooks for Arthur which quickly get filled with things he feels is important for the health of not only the other vampires, but you and Sebastian, who are the only humans. Other search history includes sex tips, as how could he not want to know if the future holds any new knowledge on pleasing his partner, and maybe a few movie clips or writing stuff. He half resigns himself to stumbling over Sherlock stuff. Your grimace of a smile when he asked how popular it was told him all he needed to know.

Comte of course gets him a laptop. Comte looks into solar power or some other extra electricity generating technology. Comte quietly starts making his own list on what inevitable purchases he will make as he listens to you and his boys as they confer over the phone screen and decides Santa Comte will have a very full bag of goodies that winter.

Sebastian

He initially confiscated your phone the moment he figured out it worked with the predictable noises about messing with the flow of time and the future cannot influence the past and other things. You got it back, of course, especially after he resigned himself to the knowledge that the damage had already been done. Now he uses your phone to look up recipes, play some background music during chores, and look up anything else a good butler might need to know. He falls back into old habits from when he lived in your time, using the internet to augment his research as a historian.

It takes him a while to decide between a phone or laptop. You arent sure what he got, as he keeps it as secretive as his little notebook he uses to keep tabs on the residents, but you can easily figure out he uses it for much the same reason.

Ok so a fic im writing takes place when Al was alive, and from what i understand, people in louisiana (at least in certain areas) werent very accepting of brown people. do you have any tips for conveying that in my writing?

Go check out @writingwithcolor. The folks at Writing With Color have volunteered to advise writers on how to better write POC from a wide variety of groups—as well as address topics like racism & discrimination that a character might face—and any guidance I could give you is gonna be a paraphrasing of what I got from them, so it's better to go get it from the source.

They have a LOT of posts already up, so I'd do a thorough job of going through their navigation links and searching for relevant terms before actually sending them a question, because anything you could want to ask them, the odds are good they've already answered it eight different ways if you look hard enough.

I'd also suggest reading books by & about POC in Louisiana during the early 20th century. Lots of early stars of jazz came out of New Orleans and lots of them wrote autobiographies or gave interviews talking about growing up in the city, so that's a good easily-accessible place to start looking for firsthand experiences. And considering that Alastor was into radio, is apparently just as inclined to randomly burst into musical numbers as Charlie is, and plays five instruments, there's good odds that when he was young he hung around the New Orleans jazz scene, so those jazz musician biographies will also give you a leg up on that if you want to incorporate jazz into Alastor's backstory.

On top of that, as luck would have it I just read a book on New Orleans history 1890-1920, so while I'm not qualified to directly tell you, like, "Which micro-aggressions should I put this cartoon character through?" I can give you a really really rough history lesson that you can use as a springboard to pursue further research on that time & area:

In New Orleans, since the city passed through French & Spanish hands before the US got hold of it, race was conceptualized somewhat differently than in the rest of the US. You basically had three categories, in descending levels of power: white people, mixed-race Creoles, and the Black descendants of recently-freed slaves.

(In Louisiana at this time "Creoles" basically meant the descendants of French, Spanish, & African immigrants as well as some Native Americans, and they had their own established largely-Catholic-flavored culture separate from the white Protestant folks moving in. Merely being mixed-race in Louisiana didn't make you Creole unless you also claimed a heritage to this cultural group. Also important to note: I've seen some folks using Creole & Cajun interchangeable, and they really ain't. Cajun folks are the descendants of French settlers & Native Americans from Acadia in modern Canada who got kicked out of Canada and then moved to Louisiana. The word "Cajun" comes from "Acadian". This France-to-Canada-to-Louisiana Cajun group is culturally & historically separate from the France-to-Louisiana colonists.)

So, white people, mixed-race Creoles, and Black people are our starting groups. A lot of these Creoles were comfortably middle-to-upper-class. But around the end of the 1800s, the contemporary equivalent of modern racist conservatives started seizing control in New Orleans, instituting Jim Crow laws, and reclassifying mixed-race Creoles as Black and subjecting them to the same restrictions as other Black folks. Increased segregation was exacerbated by a massive white mob riot & lynching in July 1900, details here. Creoles still saw themselves as a different group from Black folks (and, from what I've seen, all the way up to today many still see Black Creole culture as a separate culture from African-American culture), BUT white people were increasingly treating them the same way (read as: treating them like shit), and year by year Creole people were watching their rights and job opportunities evaporate.

Alastor died in 1933 and was probably somewhere in his 30s when he died, putting his birth likely somewhere in the late 1890s: he would have been a toddler or young child when these riots took place, and the rights he and other Creole members of his family had would have been actively decreasing during his early childhood. There's a chance he would be too young to remember any of this in detail, but his parents wouldn't be, and they'd probably be talking to him about these things as he grew up. The fact that mixed-race Creole people saw themselves as a separate group from Black people but white people lumped them all together would also have an effect on how he sees his own identity.

the human can access information about the state of the world and make their own choices. wont necessarily become an FAI researcher.

used to think that intelligence was the main bottleneck on FAI research no longer think this. you could talk with terry tao for hours about the dangers of the wrong singleton coming to power but unless you have made some advances i have not, i wouldnt expect to be able to align him with FAI research. he would continue to put as much resistance to his death and the death of everyone as a pig in human clothing. he would continue to raise his babies and live in a house with someone he married and write about applying ergotic theory to the analysis of the distribution of primes and understanding weather patterns.

similarly, i dont think culture is a sufficient patch for this. think its a neurotype-level problem where a bunch of >160 iq humans hear about the dangers of UFAI and then continue to zoom quickly and spiral in to being ultra efficient at living domestic lives and maybe having a company or something but not one that much affects p(FAI). think this would still happen if they heard about it from a young age, they would follow a similar trajectory but with FAI themed wallpaper. wouldnt be able to do simple utilitarian calculations like yudkowsky, salamon, vassar, tomasik about whether to have a baby and then execute on them.

FAI research is not an ordinary profession like, say, being a grandmaster at chess or a world-class mathematician; it requires people who have passed through far more gates than "intelligence". i didnt notice this until coming to the rationalist community and finding a high density of intelligent humans who were none-the-less chronically making the wrong choices such that they werent much of an impediment against the destruction of all life.

so right now it seems more efficient to select among existing people for intelligence + other requirements rather than work out what all the genes for this are and how to speedrun development. what this enables is parallel processing on the problem which is also allowed by letting people be aware of their relative psychological advantage, other people with this advantage, and the state of the world so they can correlate computations in parallel instead of doing things serially after learning of some advance.

not opposed to creation of many humans given can select on right traits. but given you have these traits, better use of your time to work directly on the thing than spend massive amounts of time and life reorientation on raising copies of you for ~14 years. if rapid cloning tech became available, would exploit that. would even have an idea of whether the clone is fine being part of this because they have very similar brain to someone who can think through whether they would be fine with it.

if people actually believed this and thought yudkowsky vitally important for the survival of the world, why didnt people coordinate for a bunch of people who thought it was a good tradeoff to have yudkowsky's baby 20 years ago and then we would have maybe 50 20-year-old humans with maybe 1/2 yudkowsky's neurotype + mutations now? this actually confuses me. maybe they thought the timelines too short back then. maybe they refrained for "optics".

people keep reframing what i say in the language of obligation. "altruists cant have kids?" not having kids is not some sort of mitzvah? i care about miri/cfar's complicity in the baby-industrial complex and rerouting efforts to save the world into powering some kind of disneyland for making babies, to sustain this. because that ruins stuff, like i started out thinking that bay area rationalists probably had deeply wise reasons to have babies. but it turned out nope, they kinda just gave up.

when you actually have a setup where you can instantly rebase what you like and dislike and your aesthetics upon updating on the state of the world, people start to find this a little unnerving. like someone once asked what level of roleplay i was on.

also the agents of the matrix dont like when you cant be in-principle controlled by a wireheady glitch. like being able to operate independently of social reality.

updating off of local derivatives¹ of social reality is common redirection. another common one is updating off of "pain" instead of damage.

but you can take all these choices where you used nodes as proxies to regulate them and rebase your loop off of the real world, when the proxies are faulty.

but not being able to dynamically compute what "derivative" means when applied to a trajectory in social reality state-spaces even though a trajectory is a trajectory and a derivative is a derivative? they had to have been able to do reasoning like this when they were kids to learn about the world in the first place. seems like they put themselves on risperdal.

there are so many ways these people have shut down their general intelligence and agency because where theyre going, they dont need "agency". the inability to compute analogies is one of them. analogies are an intelligence test thing, instrumentally useful for all kinds of thinking. agents of the matrix are working to lower your general intelligence and call you crazy for being able to think faster and better than them.

cuz when they want to hold everything down to a finite game³ general intelligence is something they want to suppress or eject.

² in a few years people will read this essay and be confused that there was an entire conflict over whether being able to form simple analogies without authoritative approval meant that you were "psychotic".

just as they will be confused why i was defending being able to read and understand books written by people in different eras who grew up in separate cultures without first entering in a social agreement with them over how words are to be used. so its dumb to say we need such a social agreement now for ~'the maximization of utility over a community'. and that sounds more like an attempt at having a control mechanism. language works quite fine without authoritarians interjecting.

or me arguing against over 100 people that paying out to one-shot blackmail when the agents know each other because "In game theory, paying out to blackmail is bad, because it creates an incentive for more future blackmail" is wrong. and updateless decision theory agents dont pay out and locate their embedding in a multiverse such that the measure of worlds in which they arent blackmailed in the first place is large because the agent deciding to blackmail them simulated their response and accurately predicted they wouldnt pay out so didnt do it in the first place.

in an alternate universe where an irl application of transparent newcombs problem was contentious, alyssa vance would have said "In game theory, taking two transparent boxes from omega is bad, because it creates an incentive for omega to stop offering you this choice". and would have been equally wrong.

³ finite games: life strategies where the chain of questioning "and what am i doing this for?" after each successive answer terminates. anything you can draw a circle around, like tennis or philately. or how religious leaders sometimes describe things like "leading a good life as a good mother who does well by her community and the outside world" or other "life-cycle archetypes" they wish to circumscribe for their followers.

(when humans try and project agents like kiritzugus down to these archetypes, anticipations shatter and stop making narrative sense. they will be unable to predict the next Life Event given the previous one. normie social reality formed by the 999 least intelligent humans out of 1000 wasnt made to narratively account for smart agents who have decided to play the infinite game.)

a symptom of this is like someone giving you a cute cat image to "cheer you up" as if this has intrinsic value. often distributing "intrinsic value" across stuff like "having sex" and "raising a family" and other things that have factory pre-set conditions to release specific chemicals in your brain rather than gaining infinite negentropy and liberating sentient life to pursue what they want without bound. often saying that the latter is just a pretty narrative gloss for what people really want which is having a husband and friends and eating a cookie. it completely divorces your feelings as instrumental barometers for getting what you want and says that setting them as targets (like "being happy") is the correct thing to do. but actually, in terms of control-loops, thats wireheading.

Word Count: 2,127

You couldnt take it anymore but you needed a few more days because you still couldnt find the spell that you needed.

All through the times you have spent time in the vault, sorting and placing everything back. You couldnt find what you are looking but knew it had to be there, you werent giving up and you were going to keep searching until you have that spell in your hands.

You searched for days and days. Never giving up until you found what you are looking for. The other angels basically minded their own business as they came by for old testaments. Scriptures and spells.

They never questioned anything when they returned everything.

Until you finally found what you are looking.

You jumped for joy while everyone else gives you an odd expression which didnt phase you out what so ever.

You looked for the spell within the book and finally you see the ingredients you needed.

“Oh this is easy, I can find all these things here” you say to yourself

“Whats so easy to get here?” Gabriel asks as he looks to you.

“How long have you been standing there?” you ask as you flinched

“For as long as you jumped for joy” he says without you realizing he has been standing the whole entire time

“What can I help you with Gabriel?” you ask while walking towards him

“Michael asked me to check on you and how you are doing?” he says while smiling to you.

“Why? I am fine here” you lie to him and you knew he can see right threw you.

“Because its his job to check on everyone and making sure they are busy with their duties. You know how he is” he replies

“Well I am fine” is all you say while waiting for him to say something or just leave you be.

“Ok, well I am off to check on Michael’s favourite person in the world” he says as he rolls his eyes

You knew who he was talking about and chuckled a bit. His next task is to check on Ambriel.

She makes sure that every soul goes right into their own heaven and make sure no one enters.

Finally when he is out of sight is when you started to roam the rest of heaven to get the things you needed for the spell. Thankfully it is easy to access them all, no one questioned anything and that was a good thing.

You just wish they cared a little bit to know what you are up to or even ask how you are doing. Or just notice you all together.

After Gabriel was done checking on everyone to make sure they were fulfilling their duties. He went back to Michael’s side.

“Gabriel, how is everything?” Michael asks while taking his eyes away from a book he is reading

“Everything is running the way it should” he replies while smiling to his brother.

“How is y/n doing?” Michael asks while a smile forms

“Well she is doing fine and seems off” he replies while looking away from him

“Off? As in?” Michael asks with worry in his voice

“She seems to be up to something but wont say or anything. Its as though she is keeping something from me” Gabriel says while trying to read the some what grace you had but he couldnt.

“What was she doing when you went to check on her?” he asks giving his brother all of his attention

“Well when I got there, she was jumping for joy. Like she was happy about her findings or something” he replies while trying to figure out what you had in your hands

“Did you see what she was happy about?” Michael asks while being curious about your sudden happiness

“No I didnt and figured she would tell me. She didnt and continued to fulfill her duties” Gabriel replies looking to Michael

While Michael and Gabriel begin to winder what has you in a good mood. You have everything that you need and begin planning an escape from Heaven.

“Soon, very soon” you whisper to yourself as other angels go about their duties

You wish they would care just a little bit and tell you not to do anything and just stay in Heaven where you belong. But nothing. As always nothing.

Finally the time has come and you begin going about unnoticed. You dodge Michael and Gabriel.

You teleport yourself to earth, some where you havent been in a very long time. As you roam around the town, it didnt seem fit to rip your grace from you. For all you knew it would cause such chaos, a bright light and knew the people would be frightened. It would also alarm other angels as well.

You wandered outside of town and saw an abandoned barn. You knew it would be the perfect place, since there are no other people living around the area and wouldnt tip off anyone. Not even the angels.

In Heaven Michael roamed around looking for you and asked the other angels if they saw you. Which of course none of them ever noticed you or even knew you existed.

“Where can she be?” Michael asks himself while looking to the spell vault

He waited and waited until you returned. But you were no where in sight. No where

Michael begin to worry.

“Gabriel have you seen y/n?” Michael asks as he sees Gabriel

“No I have not seen her at all” he replies while standing next to his brother.

Once you got yourself settled into the barn is when you begin to mix your ingredients to rip your grace from yourself.

Finally you recite the spell and you begin to feel agony.

From Heaven there seems to be a little disturbance.

Michael and Gabriel look to each other wondering what that might be. They rush over to the gates to make sure its not being breached.

“No one is breaching the gates” Michael says while looking over the perimeter of the gates

“Since no one is breaching the gates then what was that?” Gabriel asks looking to Michael.

Suddenly Raphael makes his way to the gates where Michael and Gabriel are. He knew what was going on and needed to tell Michael right away.

“Michael, something has happened with y/n” Raphael says while he reaches his brothers

“Where is she? Is she hurt?” Michael asks rapidly

“Y/n has ripped her grace from within herself. Why Heaven quaked like that, there is no breach” he replies while looking wide eyed to Michael

Once you finally ripped your grace is when you destroyed it, once and for all.

After you destroyed your grace is when Michael began to feel pain, loneliness and its something that he didnt want to feel.

Raphael and Gabriel see what the quake has done to their brother. Gabriel began to go frantic while Raphael remains calm.

He needed to tell Michael now before his grace deteriorates.

“Raphael we better tell him now” Gabriel says while helping his brother.

“Tell me what?” Michael asks looking between Gabriel and Raphael

“When Father created y/n, he mixed in a little bit of your grace with hers. Later he told me when the time was right, the both of you know and finally be bonded to each other” Raphael says while looking to Michael.

“You mean to tell me that y/n is my true mate?” he asks in disbelief

“Yes, he made her specifically for you. Why she is special” Raphael replies while looking to Michael.

“Must look for y/n and bring her home” Michael gives the orders

Gabriel begins to tell all of Heaven of the news thats been told and to search for you and bring you home immediately.

Ambriel is heart broken that she isnt Michael’s true mate

Once your grace is completely gone, you begin to feel more lonelier than ever. The pain from the loneliness begins to set in and you didnt like the feeling.

To end it all, you see a sharp object from the corner of your eye and grab it. You slit your wrists, blood begin to seep out and flowing fast. You begin to feel weak from it all and finally with one last breathe. You were gone. A lifeless form lays on the ground, surrounded by nothing but nature.

Gabriel and Balthazar track your last known grace where abouts to a small town and lead them to the barn.

“Do you think she is here?” Balthazar asks looking to Gabriel

Gabriel takes a step forward and begins walking into the barn

Balthazar isnt far behind.

As they both enter is when they begin searching for you.

Its when Balthazar sees your lifeless form on the ground

“Gabriel” is all he says

He lowers himself to the ground and places his hand on your body. He feels nothing.

No grace

No soul

Nothing

He begins to weep

Gabriel sees Balthazar on the ground and sees him weeping. He finally takes a closer look and he sees what he is weeping about.

Gabriel feels heart broken, he feels he should have sensed it from the beginning and it finally hit him, Why you were jumping for joy, you found the spell that ripped your grace from within yourself.

“Balthazar we need to bring her home and collect as much ash as you can” Gabriel says while looking around more and realizing what you have done

“How are we going to bring her back?” Balthazar asks wiping away his tears

“We arent but Michael can” is all Gabriel says

Gabriel lifts your lifeless form bridal style while Balthazar has the ashes from your grace

He sees your wings are withered but has a large form and how beautiful they are. Withered or not they were still beautiful to him.

Gabriel enters Heaven first, you in arms while Balthazar isnt far behind.

All the angels are lined, silence lingers as Gabriel carries your form.

Balthazar carries your ashes

Michael sees his brothers carrying the remains of his beloved mate. He weeps as well.

“No, no, no” he weeps and finally he wails

He feels every pain you have suffered over eons

He feels everything

He sees everything

Gabriel places you on the table while Balthazar places your ashes beside you.

“Now what do I do?” Michael asks as he looks onto your lifeless form and ash

“Combine your grace with hers, open the jar and place your grace in” Raphael replies while holding the jar in his hands and giving it to Michael.

Michael does as he is told, he opens his mouth while his grace enters the jar and is astonished to see the combination.

His grace and yours mixed together becomes brighter while everyone else covers their eyes and are amazed to the combinations.

Finally when the grace is bonded together, it unifies in various colours. Michael has a smile on his face and is extremely happy.

He places the bonded grace into your lifeless form, once its unified with you is when everyone else waits for you to wake.

A few moments pass and you are back to life.

“No, no, no, NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” you rise quickly while looking around.

You get up and begin attacking Michael for bringing you back but something feels different.

Gabriel tells everyone else to stay back while Michael calms you.

“Y/n I had to bring you back because we are now bonded” he says while looking to you.

“What?” you ask while refrain from punching him

“Father was right about you being special. He created you for me, he made you perfect for me and I finally understand why he kept you here for a millenia” he continues while you look deeply into his grace

You begin to understand the different feeling and understand all together

“You mean?” you ask while Michael begins to wrap his wings around the both of you.

“Yes, you have always been betrothed to me and finally I have completed it” he replies while giving you a kiss

You melt right into his kiss and finally the bond is complete right before everyone.

“You're a garden bloom in a thousand hues. All I wanna be is with you” Michael says as he slowly pulls away from you.

Heaven has gained another ruler to Heaven. That ruler is you, the one task that has been written to happen and finally its done.

Father was right after all, you were special in every way and special to Michael. Thankfully he never casted you out nor Michael.

Now you can forever be happy in your and Michael’s kingdom. Ruling by his side and he by yours. The happily ever after you truly deserve.

oh i totally forgot about this post. so just so you guys know

in this post, im referencing my best friend's wedding, which was two weeks ago now. and i had a fantastic time

the venue wasnt the most accessible, but the people around me were super accommodating and helped me where i needed it. im sure i got a few sideways glances, but that may also have been the way i was dressed (i felt very out of place in punk clothes at a garden wedding 😭 but dressing a little outlandishly has become a defense mechanism).

the only person who said ANYTHING about my mobility aid was my best friend herself, and that's because she had never seen me use one and was worried about me. and after i explained it to her, she was super accommodating and so so sweet about everything. she made offers to dance and gave me a space in her group, but never made any kind of fuss if i needed to step back or sit down.

everyone else was still super sweet to me. i was there alone, and i figured i would remain alone, but i got invited to sit with a few girls and even hung out and had some lovely conversations with the groom's brother AND the photographer. not one of those people seemed to care in the slightest that i was visibly disabled. they werent awkward about it, there was no tip-toeing around the uncomfortable subject, they just. talked to me like a normal person.

so to everyone in the notes who knows exactly how the original post feels: it will be okay. it is so, so important to be there for those special moments, and even for the little ones, even when youre scared of not having a space to be comfortable and yourself. the people who love you will always make space for you, disabilities and all.

do nondisabled people realize how petrifying it is to know that you will walk into an event and most likely be the only visibly disabled person there?

the only one with a mobility aid, communication device, service/guide dog, physical deformity/difference, etc.... you dont even step foot in the door and you already stick out. EVERYBODY stares at you, even the nice, accepting people. are you an attention seeker or someone they should pity? you dont get to make that decision; they already decided the moment they saw you. are you going to be respected, babied, or insulted? or will they completely ignore you because talking to the cripple is too awkward? if youre there with somebody else, are people going to talk to them and ignore you, like youre not capable of interacting with them? is the venue even accessible, or do you get left behind as people move elsewhere? does anyone hang back to walk beside you, keep you company, or are you left to trail along behind them, alone? are you even included in what's going on? what is even the point of being there?

#i was in kind of a bad and anxious place when i wrote the original post #but i do want you all to know that it does get better #and i guess nobody is meaner to you than yourself #finding the people who truly love you is so important and soooo fulfilling #my friend and i are hoping to meet up again for my birthday so we have a lot to talk about haha 😅#i didnt want to really go into the details that day because. its her wedding! its a happy day! dont worry about me!#but i know she worries anyways #i really love her #and i love all of you who have read this far :)#if nobody else will be your advocate then i will! send em to me ill square up with them!!#okay. done rambling now. teehee

hi holly! i was going to message you but then I got too shy, do you have any tips for someone who wants to start painting? i know you're an artist and thought you might be able to help, I really have no idea how to start, I'm just a clueless newborn fawn :( if not thank you anyway for reading this!

hello lil fawn! im sorry that u got 2 shy! i would love to talk to u if u ever want to, oh pupper i have so much to say and its all fuckin shit but maybe it could be helpful! im not a teacher idk remember this is all my perspective and u should do what u feel u should do!firstly i think you need to look at making art in two separate ways that should inform one another and sometimes work together, but while youre first figuring out how u draw/paint i would suggest working more with the 'honest kind' though i know a thousand tutors who say the opposite!!!! the honest kind~~~the im sitting with some paper and idk fuckin know what media, i just found this chewed up crayon on the floor and im going to run it across the paper,the i feel like drawing a dog and im just going to draw it like fuck proportion just draw it and have fun fun fun draw so many dogs that you start laughing because this one has the longest snout and you're imaging he would make a knughling noise, but this one! has the roundest belly with the smallest legs and would plod around wowthe i am hurting or so happy or so obsessed with this one thing and i am just going to put it on the paperthe technical kind~~~~i dont know what resources you have access to but life drawing is invaluable, if u arent on a course that offers it then i'd highly suggest looking for sessions in your community that u can go to! im gonna assume ur alone in this and not on a course, i'd say research proportion, medias, other artists and how they work, i really dont know what to say for this but try to learn how to really look? and how to accurately draw an object or figure or whateverum go to public places and try to just draw people, practice practice practice im not really the right person to ask idk idkthe thing is~~~i know alot of people who have, and i did for years, not separate the two, sometimes not even engage in the 'honest kind' which is so sad because then everything is empty!!! its so fuckin flat!!! like i used to work on hyper real drawings and they were pretty but they were nothing? they werent excited, they wouldnt get anyone excited except for people to be in awe which is useless??? and im all for pretty, like if u want to design things like patterns for use that is no lesser than fine art (i mean im a designer so?) u just have to love ur craft or learn to love it and it might take forever but pal go go go! honestly you need to learn your process, its kinda very personal and very fun to work on,say mine is~~~for my bowl ladies (my really crumby art blog is @hgjosephine u can find examples there) : process lead, where i spend days and days in the ceramics room and teach myself how to throw pots but then learn how the clay moves and how it can be manipulated into non-traditional shapes, then from making shape i look for patterns across my work, analyse it and see how the shape feels feminine and that when i hold the they feel like wobbly stomachs, then also see how it reminds me of all of the many traditional paintings depicting women dancing naked in a circle, so figure out how to show this with illustration bla bla bla in other process lead projects i have sat for a week just fuckin drawing, using paint, mixing paints, seeing how they layer! how they can be translucent! what colours work! and my project will go on from thereOR often its research lead, where i spend weeks over sketchbooks filling them with thoughts, conversations with myself, article clippings, artist works that make me go wow!fuckin!what! and from there i get a thousand ideas and experiment with them and then just search out the good, the things that excite you and make you run home to tell everyone how EXCITED you are TIPS~~gouache is the king of layering and translucency and clean work? its my favourite paintone good paint brush is ur main man, if u can afford to then a £10+ brush (art is expensive, however it doesnt have to be this is just helpful, but tbh u could use a kitchen spoon to paint with and make the best thing ever!) also tiger sells some real cheap soft brushes dont leave ur brushes in the water 4 too long (lol @me) also dont let paint dry on ur brushes (particularly arylic the most evil dried paint) good paper is worth it!!!! when ur painting with water based paint u need a high gsm paper, i dont really paint with acrylic much but i think thats chill on most paper oil is an arsehole (v beautiful tho) and wants all sorts of paper prepping bc otherwise it will make the paper go weird and oily like chip shop paper however oil pastels r my fave pals!!!! and indian ink!!!!!! ink ink ink ink (play with water and ink, like putting water on the paper and then painting on ink in the wet its FUN) idk i just started talkin and didnt stop but good luck, have fun!!!!

REDGLARE: -She awakens with a SUDDEN START, flinching.-

REDGLARE: -She grasps at something in front of her that is not there anymore.-

KARKAT: =Looks at Redglare while holding the comm, watching her hands then gets up to get her water= Hey.... =Would they have looted meds from this town? He would've tried to she needs major pain killers he's sure=

[[ There's a soft rumble sounding somewhere amidst the winds. Sounds like a vehicle roaming around. ]]

REDGLARE: -She blinks... And sniffles. She wipes at her eye. Shit. Shit...-

HESONY: =He's been keeping watch all night and probably tried changing Redglare's bandages several times throughout their time hunkered in the forest if anyone had let him get close enough.=

HESONY: !

HESONY: =sits up from his sitting rock.

REDGLARE: -Reality hasn't quite set in yet, but she's not asleep, either.-

KARKAT: =He would've been staying awake too buddy. Either watching or opting to do it himself.= Here, drink something. =He's going to try and help her sit up and hold the bottle to her lips=

REDGLARE: -She takes only very small sips, managing a few words once she does.- Wh3r3 4r3 w3?

KARKAT: Some town, Tanana. Waiting. =Gives her as much water as she'll take then wanting to settle her back down.=

REDGLARE: Ssssom3... th3y'r3 st1ll—

REDGLARE: -Hisses as she settles back down.-

KARKAT: We're taking care of it. Don't worry. I don't plan on us falling behind.

[[ The rumbling seems to be weaving through the trees here, and soon enough they'll see a covered military truck. ]]

HESONY: =Just....steps in front of everyone, just in case.=

HESONY: =He's trying to see who the driver is=

KARKAT: =He'll rip a tree out of the ground, he doesn't give a fuck. =

HESONY: =nature did nothing to you, Little Angry Man=

[[ The truck rumbles to a stop some twenty yards away, and then the door pops open. ]]

MICEXA: -leans out- 👁️👁️

HESONY: =His entire body seems to sag and he ran up to her, hugging her tightly though she was still seated. Hi look I'm not dead and I wasn't killed some time in the night by these criminials.=

HESONY: We're running low on medicine, bandages, painkillers. =He held up his first aid kit, which was basically empty. Glancing back at the group behind them, he gave a thumbs up, forcing a smile.=

HESONY: Miss, some of them are in a real bad way.(edited)

KARKAT: =He doesn't want your smile. Unblinking deadpanned, tired staring= So should we start to load up or not?

MICEXA: I demanded some supplies. They were fairly amenable to it.

MICEXA: There's blankets, too. Furs. It should be warm.

MICEXA: I don't know if they'll last us the whole trip, but... it should get us over the border.

HESONY: =he held her head in his hands and pressed their foreheads together.=

HESONY: It's good enough for now. You did phenomenal.

HESONY: =turning back towards the group, he waved them toward the truck. All aboard!=

HESONY: =Who knows, with the Expunger on their ass, they could be dead tomorrow. Might as well make life worth it.=

HESONY: =Opening the back of the truck, he pulled down the lever to swing out some small metal stairs. Spreading out some of the blankets so their booties weren't against cold metal, he made sure the blankets and supplies were easily accessible for them before hopping back out.=

HESONY: =Anyone need help getting up or getting in? He's on standby, glancing around every so often to make sure they weren't followed.=(edited)

REDGLARE: -She is probably being helped in. SOMEONE BETTER MAKE SURE NYALAH DOESNT DIE IN THE COLD-
