Travelling and tattooing with a dog would be a challenge, but it's not impossible

I feel trapped in my life and in my home, and I'm starting to think I don't need all the stuff I've accumulated over the years, I think it's just stressing me out at this point

The process of shedding off the old self is a painful and long one, but the more myself I become, the more I think about what I actually want to do with my life, the more I realise I just want to feel free

If I can figure out how to do it, how to save money for it all, it might just work out

Tried to keep anything in the image from the year 2010 or predated. i think theres a few give and takes but i really like the "older brother" early 2000s grunge aesthetic on another level and i thought who better fits it than him. I feel like if you're using a lot of disposable plastic bags in your day to day life, you've gotta do something sustainable to make up for it. Like using bamboo toilet paper or eco friendly cat litter or something, yknow

Honestly I exaggerate for comedic effect, while I DO routinely use ziplock bags to hold spaghetti I cook maybe once a month and the bag itself is usually for freezer storage. I actually throw out maybe one bag a week? I DO hate washing plates and tupperware and junk but that usually just means I eat sandwiches without a plate.

I agree though that needless waste should be avoided, and I do avoid it- biodegradable bags and recyclables, empty butter tubs used to store leftovers, etc.

This said, though, not applicable necessarily for myself but for a lot of others- I feel that it's importat to remember that there are many people who legitimately NEED things like plastic straws, or catheters, or pre-packaged foods

And the idea that that's a moral failing that individuals need to personally make up for when a single billionaire blows out more CO2 in a long weekend than I will in my whole life on a superjet meet-cute in the Bolivian rainforest between humvee drag races funded by the river-polluting textiles plants they planted in a third world country to avoid EPA laws and give an entire village stillbirths and stomach cancer is an idea that those very same bigwigs have spent a LOT of time and money investing in planting in the public psyche.

Like- Glass bottles are infinitely recyclable, so why are so many drinks in plastic now? Loads of drinks manufacturers used to buy them back and clean them for re-use, so why did they stop? If they chose to make something out of a limited and environmentally irresponsible material, why is it my failing to track down a correct process of disposal for them? What if there are none in my area? Do I lobby for more recycling plants in my area? Do I set aside some of my limited time outside the pain factory of my job- which I have more than one of, thanks to rising costs of things just like that drink I just emptied- to properly dispose of this company's waste FOR them?

Say coca-cola just rolled up to your town and started dumping millions of empty plastic bottles in the street, going, "wow, you should really think about building and staffing a recycling depot, it would be really shameful of you to just put these in the trash." When companies purposefully use materials with limited lifespans- because yes, even plastic can only be reused so many times- and tell you it's your own fault if it harms the environment- that's essentially what they're doing, just with more steps.

Yes, its important to be as environmentally concious as we can in our day to day life, but responsible sustainability is not catholicism. We don't get good boy points from our lord and savior Captain Planet every time the average low-income household gathers together to hold hands and repent for a single-use plastic that allows them to access something they need.

Entire families could eat trees and shit dead lithium batteries for years and still not do as much damage to the planet as an average dye plant or braindead celebrity does in a week just for fun, and I'm mad about it

...this went on longer than intended.

TL/DR: DO recycle and minimize waste, but don't beat yourself up over the little waste you can't avoid, and follow the money.

Boyfriend Giyuu who hasn’t fully settled into the idea of being in a relationship. Letting someone get so close feels foreign to him, terrifying even, because in his mind, anyone he loves he loses.

Boyfriend Giyuu who, on that note, is fiercely protective. If you’re a Demon Slayer or a Hashira, he refuses to let you go on missions alone. He’s always nearby, shadowing your steps, ready to intervene at the first sign of trouble. If you’re a civilian, it’s even worse. He declines long missions after you start dating, assigning someone he trusts (poor Tanjiro) to watch over you when he can’t. Heaven help them if they slip up and something happens to you on their watch, Giyuu will put them through weeks of grueling training as punishment.

Boyfriend Giyuu who does all this because he physically cannot bear the thought of losing someone he loves again. If he’s let you into his life, you’ve become his priority, and he’ll do whatever it takes to ensure you’re safe.

Boyfriend Giyuu who pretends not to care about your affection but gets so grumpy the moment you forget his daily good morning or welcome-back kiss. “So… you’ve decided you don’t love me anymore.” His tone is deadpan, but the slight pout at the corner of his lips gives him away “What?!”

Boyfriend Giyuu who bats your hand away any time you try to initiate PDA. But later that evening, he’s wrapped around you like a koala, his face buried in your tummy, arms locked tightly around you. His silent glare dares you to complain about his hypocrisy.

Boyfriend Giyuu who secretly loves when you leave little trinkets or items at his place. His once barren apartment slowly starts looking homier, softer, little touches of you filling the empty space. (Seriously, did you see how empty his house was in that one episode? get some furniture damn #psycho. At least we know where Kim K got her inspiration from)

Boyfriend Giyuu who completely suffocates you in his sleep. He wraps his limbs around you so tightly, practically lying on top of you, like a human blanket. You like to tease him that his subconscious is just making up for all the affection he represses during the day.

Boyfriend Giyuu who is surprisingly tender despite his cold, aloof exterior. Gentle touches, small but thoughtful gifts, and quiet acts of service speak volumes about how much he loves you, even when he doesn’t say it out loud.

Boyfriend Giyuu who loves you more than words can express. And even if he doesn’t always know how to show it, he hopes you feel it in the way he holds you, protects you, and stays by your side.

This Giyuu fic has been sitting in my drafts for agesss. I'm slowly slipping out of my current Naruto obsession and back into my kny one. Please expect more Kny headcannons from now on, thnx.

A lot of people in the iwtv Fandom regurgitate antiblack talking points particularly wrt Louis being femme/effeminate/gnc and it's genuinely so disgusting like no, Louis is not making his partners engage in domestic labor when they participate in the businesses and investments they are partial owners of. No, Louis is not being the patriarch of rue royale when lestat leaves the house after beating Louis within an inch of his life. No Louis is not "masculine for his culture" especially when compared to other black men in the same time period. People will actively ignore canon to make Louis into this hypermasculine black brute and Lestatr or armand into these shrinking violets that are oppressed by Louis when he's not that at all. The only times he's ever acted even close to that stereotype is to assimilate into a white supremacist society that expected that of him in order for him to earn a living and to please Armand, which causes him great distress and visibly worsens his mental health to the point of Louis lashing out at Claudia and being so entirely numb that he self harms. Louis is not this hypermasculine black brute and a lot of people try to make him into one bc of unconscious bias surrounding black people (black people have been stereotyped as hypermasculine, angry, overly violent and sexual deviants since the 1700s) or to absolve their non black favs of the actual patriarchal and oppressive violence they enact on Louis and Claudia or a combination of the two. ‼ need help getting emergency furniture

hi! i was all set to move to new england this week. but due to factors outside of my control (including the hurricane), everything blew up on me. it is no longer safe for me to live there.

i have to move into an apartment by the 18th, and i am very lucky to have secured something... but... the issue is i have thrown away most of my furniture (the place i was moving to was furnished), and i need at least a bed and a desk. i have some options but they are totaling around $560... x_x i can get away without a desk i think, but i at least need something to sleep on, i have chronic pain and an air mattress won't be suitable for me in the long run (But i'll try to make it work as long as possible!).
