Regarding the repeating outfit: How do you keep clothes in good condition after repeated wear? they get very worn out after awhile :(
There are a couple answers to this, but please take them with my supposition that you’re not talking about hard-wearing clothing for specific work/activities. I assume that if you're some hottie in overalls at a wolf sanctuary or whatever, you're probably not turning to a fancy femme on tumblr for garment maintenance advice.
First off, where you buy your clothes is important. Fast fashion is not made to last, it is made to degrade like so much spider silk and to be thrown out with each trend cycle. It can be cared for (see my next point), but it takes effort, and you are actively resisting entropy. Buy well-made clothes secondhand, particularly vintage clothes, and you'll be better off. And when I say vintage, I don't mean pinups and victory curls, I mean good solid mall brands from the 90s, like Nine West, Anne Taylor, Old Navy and Gap. The quality dip in many consumer goods over the past twenty years has been horrifying to watch, and all the brands I listed have been victims, but there are still a lot of old, well-made pieces out there in the thrifting market. Or see if your parents / older family members or friends have anything similar in their closet that they wouldn't mind parting with.
(But ALSO even fast fashion used to be better. I have a sweater from Zara that I bought in the year of our lord 2013, and I wore it to dinner just this week. I've spent years making sure it didn't shrink in the wash and hanging it up and spot cleaning it, and it looks as good as it did the day I bought it. On that note --)
Please please please take care of your clothes. Read the labels inside them for washing instructions, go online to learn more about how to launder the specific material, make sure you don't tumble dry things that will shrink or melt, hang them up so they don't wrinkle, iron them carefully, take in buttons to be repaired at your local seamstress or laundromat, the list goes on. It's a little time consuming, but not complicated.
You'll also be more likely to put in the effort if you get a lot of use out of a garment, and don't feel like a dummy for steam-drying a trendy item that's going to be passé in a few months. Think judiciously about trends - will you be able to incorporate a piece into your personal style once the girlies on tiktok stop wearing it? If so, great. If not, you don't want to be stuck hand washing a popcorn crop top. (Idk if those are back in on the y2k train yet, but as a millennial who shopped at Limited Too, I advise my gen z followers that it's only a matter of time.)
Constant trend cycles, low-quality clothes, items sold for loose change during Shein or Fashion Nova sales, a generation brought up so the idea of "outfit repeating" has any social weight whatsoever: this shit is bad for the planet, and TERRIBLE for exploited workers across the world, particularly in the global south. We can all try for a better reality than this; your habits of personal consumption matter.
#other things you can do depending on your pocketbook: commission seamstresses for garments#stop buying shoes made of plastic#get used to repair#and to taking time to make sure your clothes (even your zara sweater from 2013) aren't treated like disposable goods#you only imagine they are because somewhere in china PEOPLE are being treated like disposable goods#emily: high femme cyborg stylist extraordinare#replies

The Right Skin
Kinktober prompt list by @josiebelladonna / @feverinfeveroutfic
Prompt(s):
Paradise Day 8: Lingerie
Another IRL story/stream of consciousness/thoughts post.
These IRL stories will be partly stream-of-consciousness, partly thought-out. Somewhat as a stop-gap while I figure out my fic writing process, somewhat to remember some kinky times with people over the years, somewhat to parse out some thoughts, somewhat to feel like I'm actually contributing.
People I may reference in my IRL stories:
E = Boyfriend #1
C = Boyfriend #2
With pictures!
"I mean you know how you in general get me lol…So adding sexy lingerie and stockings amplifies that" - E
Lingerie is one of my main kinks. I feel like there could be a few reasons why.
I feel it's partly an aesthetic thing. I like how a lot of it looks. I like how a lot of it looks on me.
I feel it's partly a sensation/sensory thing. I like how a lot of it feels. I like how a lot of it feels on me. Especially when I, my boyfriends, or other people touch me in it, their hands moving all over, especially when I'm wearing fishnets (been discovering I like this, or maybe more seeing my boyfriends' reactions to it; a hint for later).
I have way too many nice/sexy pairs of panties and cool bras (I feel like I had such an addiction in college to buying lingerie, especially when I went to more kink parties; I can't help but still do so sometimes when I'm with my boyfriends) to talk about without going off track and making this post super-long, so I'll talk about a few that I have.
In my last year of college, I bought these two pairs of panties - one in gray, one in blue - whose sides have a few straps instead of one big strip of fabric. I saw them on the mannequin in Victoria's Secret and thought they looked hot, so I figured I'd get them for myself. And they do, not to brag. I still have them, and I still break them out with my boyfriends every now and then. The straps on the sides show just enough skin to tease. "You've caught a glimpse, now come find out more." I sometimes pull or snap the straps as another way to tease or show off. E recently has pulled and held on and ran his fingers between them once to take them off of me before touching me/my clit down there. These panties also show off a good portion of my ass, which both of my boyfriends definitely like.
"Everyone wants to touch the hot chick's butt" - C, recently (I wasn't wearing these particular panties, though)
One of my favorite bras is a push-up bra, a forest or chartreuse green. I tend to buy push-up bras because I occasionally feel insecure about my smaller tits (34B, I know it's in proportion with my petite frame, but still), though I hate that the underwire eventually collapses/pokes through. This bra was actually bought to replace an old blue push-up bra and another green one. I actually have a couple green push-up and regular bras. I just love that color, especially the darker/forest shades.
I have another bra that I got in college that I wear on special occasions. I call it my Type O Negative bra because it's green and black with a fishnet/lace pattern on it.
But probably the lingerie I've gotten the most mileage out of lately has been this fishnet set I got at Connecticon in 2023. The top is off-the-shoulder, kinda halter-ish, almost like a shrug. The bottom is just regular panties that show off a bit more butt than regular panties, but with a fishnet criss-cross pattern on top.
I've worn it a few times when doing sexy things with the boyfriends. The first time I wore it with E, I wore it with pasties, bright green flowers poking from underneath. One time with both of them, I tried wearing it with nothing else under the top, considering C is huge into fishnets. C practically pounced on my chest once I tried it, lol.
I've probably worn it most often with one of the two bras I'd mentioned earlier, though lately it's been more with the Type O Negative bra; the criss-cross fishnet patterns match perfectly. I've also paired it with these fishnet stockings with an attached faux-garter.
After the above-mentioned encounter with C, I realized that I probably felt sexier wearing this outfit with a bra on underneath, rather than just pasties or nothing at all. C pretty much put it into words when he said something to the effect of (paraphrasing): "It's showing off the right skin, not just skin in general."
(It so helps to have a boyfriend who's a writer/creative type and also autistic. He's so good with words sometimes.)
And that, I realize, is another reason I like lingerie. The teasing aspect. Leaving things to the imagination a little. The fact that you don't have to get naked to drive people wild. (I honestly so get off on that, lbr.) And sometimes (probably my main reason), it just plain looks better than being naked.

survey #210
In what form of communication did you last use to talk to the person you're currently interested in? Discord.
When was the last time something really cute happened to you? When I was at Girt's house a few days ago, when his mom got home, I called hi to her and she got so excited, exclaiming, "My girl's here!!" and she comes into his bedroom to hug and kiss my head and it was so adorable she's so pure
Has anything happened to you within the past month that's made you really happy? Girt started talking about engagement rings with me (he started it, not me) and was deadass taking notes in his phone lmao. I'm not in a rush or anything, but HIM bringing it up was validating that he genuinely wants to be with me forever. Ever since Jason I still struggle to imagine anyone at all ever wanting to marry me.
What was the last thing you looked up on YouTube? Rammstein albums, lol. I've gone through their entire discography before but I did a massive bulk of it a second time and I found I like even more songs than the first time, and that was already the vast majority of their entire history of songs.
Did the last guy/girl you kissed have any piercings? No, I could never picture him with any and I don't believe he wants any.
Do you actually love your parents? Yes. I would die without a millisecond of thought for my mom. I hold some bitterness and hurt towards my dad, but yes, I still love him.
Where did you get the underwear you are wearing right now? I'm in my pjs, I'm not wearing any. Who in the hell wears undies in their pjs, that entirely ruins the comf. I know for a woman it's not healthy to wear them 24/7, anyway. let yo pussy breathe
Do you feel uncomfortable sharing drinks with other people? The one and only person I'll comfortably share a drink with is Girt, if I can make out with him I can drink after the guy lmao. I'd still very much prefer my own drink, though. It doesn't really matter who you are.
Have you gone through a lot emotionally, or has life been easy thus far? blink blink blink
Last person to make you seriously mad? Our landlord.
Who have you recently made up with after fighting? Nobody.
Funniest name you have ever heard? This is a very mean question, next.
When people ask "how are you?" do you say "good" even if you aren't? No, actually. I might downplay how bad I am, but I don't pretend to be well if I'm not.
Do you wear your hair up or down most often? It's too short to go up, so.
Have you ever eaten tofu and if so, did you enjoy it? I don't believe I have. It doesn't look like something I'd enjoy whatsoever.
Have you worn make-up today? I couldn't even TRY to remember the last time I wore makeup...
Can you hear anything right now? I have "Tattoo" by Rammstein on.
What was the last fruit you ate? It was either pineapple or grapes.
Have you ever watched Parks and Recreation? I watched some with Sara when I visited her once, because it was one of her favorite shows. I thought it was fine, but I didn't have any strong feelings. Television shows normally don't do it for me.
Have you watched a movie this week? No, movies are another thing I don't generally care for much, unless it's a theater experience. I can't remember the last film I watched.
How far away is the closest McDonald’s from your house? Around 5-ish minutes by car, depending on what traffic lights you hit.
Have you ever been to Hawaii? No.
How old is the mattress on your bed? It's rather new. I don't think I've had it even a year yet.
Do you keep magazines by your toilet? No. Bring your phone bro
Do you watch movies with the subtitles on? No, unless it's very quiet or foreign. I generally find subtitles to be distracting.
Are you happy? I'm currently rawdogging my mental illnesses with no medication, no :^)
Do you still talk to the person who hurt you the most? Nope.
What do you wear to bed? Loose pj pants and a tank top.
What are you excited about? This weekend Girt and I are going to Charlotte to meet a couple that are some online/gaming friends of his, and we're gonna do stuff around the city. It's more than a three hour drive and we're going there and back in the same day so it's gonna be a long day, but I'm looking forward to it.
Best summer? I'm supposed to remember this?
What type of foundation do you wear? I don't wear it.
Have you read the Pretty Little Liars series? No, but god my sister Misty was obsessed with that and its show when it was a thing.
Do you actually read privacy policies when signing up for new things? Does literally anyone?????
Can you juggle? No.
Do you like Nerds candy? I love them.
What is your favorite color(s) of eye-makeup? It's all about the black, baby.
Do you have sensitive skin? Yes.
Who in your family would you describe as a “character”? My dad.
What color is your best friend’s hair? Black, although like his dad, he's graying very early so there's a lot of that grizzled in.
Do you think your neighbors have any complaints about living near you? No. We mind our business and our dog doesn't bark much.
Is there something you want to tell someone? Two somebodies. I doubt they'll ever be said, though.
Are you interested in more than one person at the moment? No.
How frequently do you pee at night? Once or twice. A night where I don't get up at least once is basically unheard of.
Is there a stuffed animal you still take places with you? No.
Have you ever done something illegal with a family member? What about with your best friend? Possibly, I don't feel like thinking about this forever.
Would you rather get high or get drunk? High, but only on like, weed. No serious drugs that are truly dangerous if you take a responsible dose. Being drunk doesn't sound pleasant in any way, tbh.
What was the last thing you cooked? I don't cook, I pop shit in the microwave lmao.
Have you ever gotten alcohol poisoning? No, that sounds like hell.
Do you want to see someone at this very moment? Yeah, Girt.
Think of the person who has hurt you the most in the past year, who is it? I saw the woman TWICE and it was my last psychiatrist. She did me so much harm in such a short time.
Do you think two people can last forever? 'Til they die, anyway. I don't pretend to know what's gonna happen once my body's dead.
Last person you talked to on the phone for longer than 5 min? My dad.
Are you a morning person or night person? Morning.
Who was the last person in your bedroom? Mom. Besides me, anyway.
Did you ever lose a best friend? What adult hasn't at some point, honestly?
How many piercings do you have? Six right now. Others that have closed either intentionally but mostly unintentionally due to being hospitalized and piercings having to come out.
What is your middle name? Marie.
Could you handle living with the last boy you texted? That's my dad, and yeah, I'd be fine.
Have you been to the beach this year? No, doubt I will.

Do you use a dishwasher or wash dishes by hand? Dishwasher.
Who was the last non-relative woman you spoke to in person? The woman who took my blood today.

90’s Fragrances, Day 7: Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT (1995) and Classique EDT (1993)
For the last day of my 90's fragrances week, I chose an absolute icon, celebrating her 30th birthday this year. For a twist, I decided to layer with her male counterpart, who launched a couple of years later. I think you'd struggle to find someone who hasn't seen or heard of these fragrances and their many limited edition bottle designs and spin-off scents, Jean Paul Gaultier definitely took the fragrance world by storm when he released these. I've said this before, but this was one of the first 'real' fragrances I ever bought myself as a teenager, back before it was even called "Classique". I had the deodorant spray in the sculpted body casing, miniatures that hung from a silver necklace, limited edition summer releases...I was obsessed with the bottle design and the imagery in the ads with those pierced nails, which I also replicated! I actually had to stop wearing the perfume in my early 20's as I became oddly allergic to it, but seem to be able to wear it again now. For reference, the photo above shows miniature dab-ons, but today I wore a spray Classique with the dab-on Le Male.
Le Male is an Amber Fougere fragrance for men, from 1995 by Francis Kurkdjian. Top notes are lavender, mint, cardamom, bergamot and artemisia. It has middle notes of cinnamon, orange blossom and caraway with vanilla, tonka bean, amber, sandalwood and cedar in the base. Classique is an Amber Floral fragrance for women from 1993 by Jacques Cavallier. Top notes are orange blossom, star anise, rose, mandarin orange, pear and bergamot. In the middle you'll find ylang-ylang, ginger, orchid, tuberose, iris and plum with base notes of vanilla, amber, musk, cinnamon and sandalwood.
This fragrance combination definitely changed throughout the day, but there was an overall soapiness, much more prevalent than usual. I know LM can remind people of a barber shop style smell and having not worn it before (my Dad has worn it for years though, so I'm familiar with the scent on him), I'm not sure if the layering enhanced this or it would always smell like that on me. I never normally pick up on the mint, a scent I happen to love, though I'm yet to like it in a fragrance, but I definitely detected a cool feeling from the top notes without smelling mint, which I found interesting. C always has a lot going on and yes, on it's own it is soapy, a bit powdery but not like Boudoir yesterday.
The star anise I think is what I'm not so fond of and sometimes this fragrance can be overbearing on me and headache inducing, so I don't wear it much these days. Ask my Uni friends my signature scent (from late 90's-early 00's) and they'd all yell, "JPG" without hesitation! I even sprayed it all over a bus going to Edinburgh after a girl (not with us) barfed all over the floor and the smell of sick makes me feel sick, so needs must...ahh the memories. Anyway, powerhouse in terms of staying power, especially given these are EDT's. Still very strong 8 hours later and sillage has been pretty present throughout the day. My 90's fragrance week just wouldn't have been complete without this. Oh and I'm very much looking forward to Gaultier Divine launching next month, my love for JPG perfumes has been reignited this past couple of years, so always keen to check out a newbie.

Anthology of Arik 5
Triggers: Human Trafficking, Amputation, Character Death, Abuse
This is the first of the stories I wrote, and it's also the one I had the most help with, which means it's... probably the most polished and I think is one of the ones that best gets into the mind of Arik as a character of the 15 or so I've written so far. It's also one of the few I've had input on the triggers for because, again, I still don't know what I'm doing on that front. Also, I normally schedule these to post the night before and I completely forgot last night so... here we are. Anyways, a thank you to my friend Q for taking the time to read through and help edit this one, and for helping with trigger tags. ----------------
The road, if you could really even call it that-truthfully, it barely qualified as a path, covered in snow and winding through the woods that had seemed to stretch on infinitely for the past few days- had finally terminated. Arik had walked for… was it a week since the last town he’d seen? Arik ran the last couple hundred hours in his mind and guessed that was probably about right. It was, however, nearly impossible to tell, this far north and this close to the solstice, day was more or less a permanent fixture. He had stopped to sleep every roughly 20 hours, wanting to get to his destination far more than he wanted to dwell within his own feverish nightmares. Arik was exhausted, but he had finally arrived at his destination: Home.
Well, bluntly, calling it home was pushing it. A lot. Arik hated the place and everyone in it with a passion. Admittedly, Arik hated most people, but he had a special place in the spite-filled cavern that once may have held a heart for this miserable place. There were a handful of exceptions of course, and to amend the previous statement, there had been one person that Arik loved in this cesspit of human waste: His sister, Mist. And it was Mist who he sought, traveling hundreds of miles on foot, and countless more on sea and steed to reach her.
The village was just as he remembered it, albeit seemingly somewhat smaller. The houses, resembling cabins pushed halfway into the ground, would probably be described as quaint by most, bearing steep thatched roofs covered by a thick blanket of snow, with a hole in the middle of each of those roofs from which smoke poured out. To Arik’s eye though they were a ramshackle series of mud and wood huts with roofs that seemed to slouch under the weight of the weather and time.
Scanning the village, he was unsurprised to see that no one was outside; were it not for his healing, he had no doubt he’d have lost several fingers, toes and much of his face within the first hour of having been out in this cold. That said, it made the village seem desolate, were it not for the smoke steadily being exhaled from the mouths at the top of each cabin, Arik may well have thought that this place had met its fate. His scarred face, covered by a scarf, wore his typical scowl as he marched the last hundred meters to the door of his childhood home. As he reached the door, Arik’s eyes drifted briefly to where the cellar door would be, buried under almost 2 feet of snow, even in early summer, before he took a final, steeling breath… and knocked.
Arik could hear footsteps and his step-father swearing before, likely only a handful of seconds later, though to Arik it seemed a lifetime, the door opened. His step-father stood there, wearing a stupid look and what Arik swore were the same underclothes he had worn the last time he’d seen him, over 20 years hence. Leif, his step father, looked to be 40 years older and 40 pounds lighter than last Arik had seen him. Once tall and proud, years of backbreaking work had taken their toll, he stood slightly hunched, with his shoulders pinched forward painfully. His once golden-blonde hair had faded almost entirely to a dull grey, while his skin seemed to have been salted and cured like jerky by his many years in the fields, though it was remarkably pale now. Even his eyes, which once shone with a sapphire blue that belied the cruelty behind them, seemed to have dulled to a bluish-grey.
“Who are ye?” Lief finally spat, licking his few remaining teeth before continuing “And what do ye want?”
Arik suppressed the dark and ever present desire to kill the scumbag where he stood, he hadn’t seen his mother, Brynhild, or his sister yet and despite the terrible, urging voice in the back of his mind, he didn’t get any pleasure from killing. Instead, Arik just removed the winter wolfskin hat and scarf from his face, hoping he could answer both questions without having to talk to the creature before him.
Lief studied Arik for a long moment before saying “Expect you’ll be wantin’ to come inside, you ingrateful bastard'.
Turning around and slowly walking to the log pile, he added another one on the pile before sitting where he had presumably been before Arik’s arrival.
“That answers one, now what d’ye want?” Lief asked
Arik, having followed Lief inside, finished removing his coat and boots before sitting next to the fire. At well over 6 feet tall, Arik found himself stooping to fit under the low ceilings of the cabin he’d grown up in. A face bearing a number of scars that spoke to his years of battle experience, dark green eyes and shaggy short black hair, Arik looked to be about 22 despite being in his late 30s. One of the perks of his supernatural healing, which, to this day, he didn’t really understand much to his own frustration. Arik reflected with a degree of detachment that at least I understand why my step-father insists we aren’t related. Indeed, the contrast between the two men had never been clearer, with Arik standing now a head taller and being now far broader and more muscular than his step-father had ever been.
As Arik sat down he noticed that most of his toes had, indeed, turned black despite his musings from earlier. Pulling a dagger from his waist, he cut the top half of his feet off in much the same way one might cut their toenails. Arik was so used to physical pain that it had stopped really registering the way most would. Similarly unlike most would, his toes and the removed chunks of his feet simply grew back as he knew they would. As they had countless times now. His step-father watched with a look of disgust and likely horror, though Arik wasn’t sure and largely didn’t care. Arik sat in silence as he waited for his feet to heal, a process which took only a handful of seconds, much to Arik’s displeasure.
Finally, recognizing that he’d have to answer the question his step-father posed but dreading the response, Arik, tentatively and with much trepidation at first, made his query: “Where’s my mother?” Arik’s face slowly hardened, before he continued with a threatening edge to his tone, “And where the hell is Mist?”
Arik’s words didn’t seem to surprise Lief, though his facial expression had changed to one that almost resembled… sadness? Grief? Maybe even… regret? Again, it was difficult to tell, and even if Arik could have, he didn’t care to figure it out. It was easier that way after all. Lief seemed to chew on Arik’s question, both figuratively and literally, his handful of remaining teeth gnashing as he sat, the question hanging with the smoke in the air.
Arik took the time to look around the room. Much like the village before it, it was much as he had remembered, though, unlike the village, it had actually changed in one notable way. Before, there had been a second bed made of furs, upon which Arik and his kid sister had always slept, but now that bed was gone. Otherwise, the pans and pots which hung from the ceiling were the same. The bow and arrow that Lief had used to obtain meat during the early Autumn, before the snows but after the animals had fattened up in preparation for winter hung on one wall of the room, same as it always had. A pot of stew seemed to be cooking over the fire, making the room even smokier than it tended to be in the fall and winter months. It was spartan, but in comparison to sleeping outside, it may as well have been a 5 star hotel. Arik’s thoughts were brought back to the moment when Lief sighed, and Arik might have sworn he saw him age a decade in the span of but a moment.
“Brynhild died some 12 years back, and as for Mist… well”, Arik’s step-father prodded at the fire, his eyes seeming unusually wet before his face set and he looked Arik in the eyes saying “I sold that little bitch too.”
Faster than Lief had thought possible and with more strength than any man Lief had ever met, Arik pinned Lief to the wall by the throat. Looking into his eyes, Lief saw only rage and bloodlust and hate, and for the first time he saw the man, no… the Beast he had helped to make. Lief had thought he was ready to die, but in front of this creature of rage he could do little other than soil himself in fear of the Beast who held him by the throat.
“Where… is… she?” the Beast asked, seeming to struggle to hold itself back even long enough to ask the question. Lief struggled to get a word out, but under the weight of the Beast's inhuman strength all he could manage was a strangled gasp. Then he was on the ground, the weight from his throat gone, but he had no time to appreciate his newfound ability to breathe. No sooner had he taken a breath in than a scream escaped his lips as pain exploded from his right hand. Looking at it, he found that his index finger was bent at a wrong, impossible angle, and once again, a scream escaped his lips as he scrambled away from the Beast who had broken it.
“WHERE IS SHE?” the Beast roared, “WHO DID YOU SELL MY SISTER TO, YOU DISGUSTING CARRION FEEDER?”
“A… a warlord, he… he was going to kill me” Lief sobbed out his response, “Please,” Lief once more let out a fearful sob as he began to beg the Beast to spare him “I’ll tell… you what you want… just… just let me live”
The Beast let out another roar of rage and Lief a scream of pain as a crunch filled the house, the Beast breaking Lief’s right leg before once more roaring out his question. Lief sobbed in pain and fear as he realized that this was where he died. He had prepared himself, or so he thought, for the day that Arik would knock on that door and kill him, but nothing could have prepared him for the rage of the Beast that tortured him now.
“GIVE ME A NAME!” The Beast ordered, towering above Lief’s broken, sobbing form.
“Valentine! He called himself Valentine, please, let me go!”
Arik regarded the cowering wretch in the corner of the room, his rage burning through him as that familiar voice in the back of his mind called for him to put this creature out of his misery. He stood there considering what he had been told, and fighting within himself.
Kill this miserable creature, pin him to the floor with his arrows until he begs for the release of death, the Beast’s voice cooed. Make him suffer as he has made you suffer. As he made your mother suffer. As he made your sister suffer.
No. Arik, look at him. Actually look at him. See him for what he is. Recognize him for the man he is, cried another voice, a voice that Arik knew belonged to his sister. To the one person who had truly loved him and who had seen him as he had wanted to be seen. Killing him now will bring you nothing but misery, he is a broken man Arik. You have the name, you can leave and never give this place another thought. You could be who I know you are. You can be better.
Kill
Be better
KILL
Be Better
KILL HIM
BE BETTER
KILL HIM
BE BETTER
On and on the voices raged until Arik screamed in fury and grief and looked at the wretch before him. Broken, in mind and body, just as Arik himself had been countless times. Arik wanted to be better, wanted so desperately to be able to see the man. To see Lief in his entirety.
But Arik couldn’t do it. This creature had sold him and his sister both to save his own hide. I am sorry Mist, but I cannot let this vermin live. Not when he sold you to save himself.
The Beast had stood there in silence for several minutes as Lief whimpered in pain and fear. Lief had begun to find a spark of hope in his breast that maybe the Beast would be merciful, a spark that was snuffed out in the same moment as the spark of life in his eyes.
Arik drew from underneath his cloak a greatsword which he plunged into his step-father faster than most men could see, pinning him to the ground. Arik collapsed, both voices had grown silent in his mind, the Beast sated and Mist left disappointed once again. Arik sat in that cabin and wept, he wept for his mother, and his sister. He wept for himself. And to Arik’s surprise, he wept for the scum, nay, the man who had raised him. He was terrible. The worst kind of man imaginable, but now that he was dead, Arik could see he was a man, still. However, Arik feared he would never see him in his entirety, never be able to recognize all of him.
Arik would set up a funeral pyre for the scumbag who had raised him. The other villagers unwilling to confront the stranger who they had long forgotten about and who terrified them more than any beast of the forest. He would see to it that his father, or the closest thing he had to one, was laid to rest. Looking through Lief’s things, he was surprised to find a series of journals. Arik didn’t know Lief could write at all let alone that he did so regularly. Remembering Mist’s words, he began to read. The first journal entry was dated 44 years ago and detailed Lief’s meeting with Brynhild. How she wanted a man who knew his letters. A “Sophersticated tipe”. Arik poured through the first journal, every entry becoming a little better. A little more legible and a little closer to sophistication. Arik poured over journal after journal until the last entry he read: dated 10 years ago, when Mist was 17. When Lief had sold her to save himself. Arik had seen the man his father had been, Arik still hated him of course, but he saw him now. All of him. Arik looked once more at the spot where Lief had been pinned down under Arik’s blade. Even now, Arik thought, I would have made the same choice. Pushing that from his mind he focused on a different thought as he began to pack for the next long hike: I saw you Lief, and now it's time to go see my sister.

tell us about your day! or crush! or, crush of the day. or, orange crush of the day.
mmmm orange crush. I made a float with that a couple weeks ago. when I was in high school this kid in my physics class had an orange crush t-shirt he wore like once a week so when we had an ice cream party toward the end of the year he brought orange crush. we brought so much to that party we had two and a half days worth of ice cream. iconic.
I talked about my day in my last ask but!! it was stupid hot yesterday and today but now it's storming and it's dropping 30 degrees tonight and staying there (85 to 55 in one night lol sorry to celsius users just google it) and it's not getting that hot again for a week so I didn't want to put my air-conditioner in. but I lived!! I wore a new outfit for the first time; I've worn the skirt before but not the top that matches. also I put my hair up in a clip and remembered just how much this helps with heat management lol.
I'm listening to Billy Joel Live at Sigma Sound Studios April 1972 and it's soooo good. His voice is so good and I love his stage personality in this era. He's so nervous but funny and charismatic! and younger than I am now. also some songs on here that never made it to an album that slap.
I don't have a crush right now :( I need one..... better yet one that goes somewhere.

2022 10 15 Saturday
Today, my boyfriend and I are going on a little roadtrip into the mountains to see the fall colors. We're leaving in the morning, and we'll just go wherever we feel like at every junction. We'll look for a haunted house wherever we are in the evening, and get dinner wherever in the area sounds interesting to us.
We went on a similar outing in 2019, before the pandemic. While we'll be starting off in the same direction, we have no idea where we'll end up. We're just going to go wherever something interests one of us along the way
We agreed that we'd dress somewhere in between casual and dressy. Most of our activities are obviously casual, yet we also want to be at least somewhat appropriate if we end up finding someplace nice for dinner.
I decided to be casual on the bottom and dressy on top. I have a couple of pairs of autumn leaf print leggings that are a perfect theme for this outing, and I'd like to be prepared with my footwear in case we do a little hiking. I think my black combat boots are perfect for both my look and functionally with that in mind. I have a black mini-length skirt that I have not worn in a long time, that is quite dressy, and works well with leggings. I actually wore it to work for a time when I first got the job, just out of college, but now I've gone no shorter than a about 3 inches above my knees, which is generally the shortest acceptable for inside a courtroom. I do, however, very much enjoy mini length skirts on my personal time.
I plan to wear my black cardigan sweater when it gets cooler later, but I will bring a blazer, in case we end up some place really nice for dinner, it'll be another piece I can use to dress myself up.
End of day thoughts: Our first stop was a park where we were in 2019, as there is a scenic overlook. We also stopped at a lake that we saw a sign for on the interstate. Out last stop was at a major interchange that is on top of a mountain, where we just rode around until we found a view. There was a sign for a haunted hayride, so we went there, and it was quite good, as was the Mexican restaurant where we stopped for dinner. It was fairly nice, but because it was also rather casual, I left my blazer in the car. In the end, we were about two hours from home, so it was a nice trip.
My outfit details:
Weather: Upper 50s, mostly sunny 🌤️
Hair in twintails
Leaf stud earrings: unbranded
Orange blouse: Kohl's
Orange mock camisole: Chemisettes
Black blazer: Express
Black cardigan: Boscov's
Black skirt: Express
Leggings: Chhome
Leaf necklace: Coco Jewelry
Watch: Target
Black leather belt: Falari
Black purse: Target
Black combat boots: Target

Things I love about Heiji and Shinichi (as someone who hasn't read much of the manga and is about halfway through the anime):
🔎 The way that Shinichi is instantly impressed by Heiji's deductive abilities. He respects Heiji's skill to such an extent that, solely out of concern for what will be discovered about him, he decides—unhesitatingly and while feeling deathly ill—to accompany the Detective of the West on a (seemingly non-murderous) case investigation that he pointedly had no interest in otherwise (Episode 48).
🔎 The way that Shinichi tells Heiji—the boy whose life has been so defined by comparisons to his father (and later to Shinichi himself), who is so insecure that he constructs unnecessary competitions in an effort to feel as though he's worth something—what essentially amounts to, "You don't have to prove yourself to me" (Episode 49). Despite the temporary antidote wearing off and making it a considerable effort to even remain standing, Shinichi is still sure to let Heiji know that there isn't any competition in detective work—that "[t]here's no winning, losing, above, or below when it comes to logic... After all, there's always only one truth."
🔎 The way that Heiji enters the series purely to find Shinichi, and the symbolic significance that can be read into how Heiji is, quite literally, the reason that Shinichi does in fact appear for the first time since being poisoned (Episodes 48-49). It's as if to say that Shinichi cannot keep hiding behind Conan when Heiji is present—that Shinichi cannot help but be himself, not the false persona he's created, when in the company of Heiji Hattori.
🔎 The way that Shinichi not only can be himself with Heiji but also feels safe being himself with Heiji, even early on, when he doesn't (consciously) want Heiji to know his true identity, so easily deducting with Heiji in their second meeting (Episodes 57-58) because he respects Heiji's abilities, trusts that Heiji can solve the case, and wants to do so beside him.
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 57. Conan and Heiji stand outside in the dark. Conan talks to Heiji, who looks at him, saying, “But all the suspects were in the lodge... Could someone have put a time-activated detonator in the garage?” End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Shinichi, regardless of his tsundere attitude, genuinely loves deducting with Heiji and makes this fact no mystery. He's full of smiles when they're working a case, absolutely ecstatic to share his findings with his partner, thrilled to bounce ideas off of someone he trusts to be on the same wavelength. From the way Conan looks adoringly up at Heiji in Episode 118 (and throws a literal tantrum and is sooooo grumpy when they're separated), to the way he eagerly calls out to Heiji that he's found what they're searching for in Episode 167, to the way he's so clearly looking forward to the prospect of comparing notes in Episode 174, to the way he smirks when they've both come to the same conclusion at once in Episode 263, to the way he grins and asks, "You got it too, right?" in Episode 382, there's the definite, undeniable understanding that Shinichi absolutely cherishes Heiji's company.
[Image descriptions: Six screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 118, Conan walks with Heiji and Sakata, looking up adoringly at Heiji while smiling broadly. In the second image, from Episode 167, Conan shines a light on a small hole in a wall, saying with a wide grin, "I found it! Hattori, it's here!" In the third and fourth images, from Episode 174, Heiji asks, "Then shall we compare notes?," to which Conan smiles in response. In the fifth image, from Episode 263, Heiji and Conan stand out in the rain. While smiling and looking at Conan, Heiji says, "Now we know why the killer wore a special outfit that has a zipper." Conan smiles back. In the sixth image, from Episode 382, Conan smiles and says, "You got it too, right?" End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Conan looks so content when revealing the full truth to Heiji (Episode 58). The way that letting Heiji in is such a comfort, a relief. The way that Shinichi is elated to have someone to confide in, to not have to hide from, who is his peer, not a mentor figure or a parent.
[Image description: Screenshot from Episode 58. Conan and Heiji sit on a bus; Conan has told Heiji everything about how he’s really Shinichi and searching for more information about the organization that poisoned him. Conan has his hands behind his head and smiles. Heiji leans against the window and rests his face in his hand as he looks at Conan. End image description.]
🔎 The way that Heiji is adamant that children not be exposed to murder (Episode 48) but also doesn't belittle children, either. When trapped with a killer (Episodes 57-58), Heiji doesn't brush off Conan's insights or tell him that he's not allowed to speak; in fact, Heiji encourages Conan to share his thoughts prior to realizing that Conan is actually Shinichi. And Shinichi, who has consistently been discounted and not taken seriously because of what he looks like, relishes Heiji's consideration, momentarily forgetting his circumstances as he deducts without his usual façade. Heiji always recognizes the value in Shinichi's words—he goes so far as to suspect that they're true Sleeping Kogoro!—regardless of how the person speaking them appears.
🔎 The way that Heiji is so set on seeing Shinichi again—after meeting him all of once!—that he enters a Sherlock Holmes fan tour (Episodes 57-58), which required exemplary knowledge of Holmes to be selected, despite openly not being a Sherlock Holmes fan and preferring Ellery Queen... all for the self-admitted chance that he might find Shinichi there. Not only that, Heiji effortlessly rattles off various facts about Shinichi, making it abundantly clear that he's read plenty of Shinichi-focused interviews and reports.
[Image description: Screenshot from Episode 57. Frowning and with his hand on his chin, Heiji thinks to himself, “Kudo ain’t here. I shouldn’t have come on this tour...” End image description.]
🔎 The way that Heiji notes in FUNimation's English dub, "When a guy's away from his girl, she's all he can think or talk about" (Episode 48), and the way that this sentiment near perfectly applies to his feelings about Shinichi, given that he gushes and talks about the Detective of the East so incessantly and with such reverence that Kazuha initially believes that Shinichi is a girl whom Heiji is in love with (Episode 118).
🔎 The way that Heiji's unabashed affection is so notable in this story, as characters here are typically embarrassed to admit their warm feelings for one another.
🔎 The way that their relationship is thus built on a kind of openness and honesty seldom seen in the franchise, something evident not only in Heiji's proud displays of emotion but also in Shinichi's vulnerability with Heiji. As soon as their third meeting (Episodes 77-78), Shinichi reveals to Heiji the tragic conclusion of one of his most emotionally devastating cases, “The Piano Sonata ‘Moonlight’ Murders" (Episode 11), wherein he couldn't stop the culprit from committing suicide. It's a trauma he explicitly feels unable to share with Ran, and it's likely that he hadn't spoken of it to anyone else aware of his identity at that point, either. But he feels safe letting Heiji in.
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 78. Conan kneels on a table and looks inside a container while Heiji looks at him. Conan says, a very serious look on his face, “Say, Hattori. Have you ever killed someone?” End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji takes Shinichi's words then—"A detective who corners someone with logic, but lets them commit suicide, is no different from a murderer"—to heart, sustaining a bullet wound whilst successfully preventing a culprit from shooting themselves in the head (Episode 118). The way that Heiji so deeply values Shinichi and his insights. The way that Shinichi realizes the depth of Heiji's admiration and is profoundly affected.
🔎 The way that Shinichi so deeply values Heiji and his insights. The way that, in as soon as their second encounter (Episodes 57-58), Shinichi's nervous about Heiji uncovering his true identity, despite never feeling similarly about the actual police detectives with whom he'd worked dozens of cases at that point.
[Image description: Screenshot from Episode 58. Conan looks up at Heiji, thinking to himself, “But it’s all over if he catches me during my explanation.” End image description.]
🔎 The way that Heiji's deduction suspecting Shinichi's favorite soccer player of murder enrages Conan (Episode 239), and the way he angrily declares that he'll prove Heiji wrong, signifying just how intensely Shinichi respects Heiji and his logic, because why else would Shinichi get so heated and determined to uncover the evidence that would render Heiji's deduction false?
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 239. Conan, furiously angry, tells Heiji, "That's ridiculous! It's absolutely impossible!" Then, Heiji, with a surprised expression on his face, is shown beside Conan, and Conan continues, "And I'll prove it, just you wait!" End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Shinichi thinks so highly of Heiji that, in his imagined future (OVA 9, "The Stranger From 10 Years Later"), Shinichi conceives of 26/27-year-old Heiji as a prominent, well-renowned detective with his own agency—who is so good at what he does and so attractive that he's nicknamed "The Lady-Killer of Naniwa."
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from the 9th Detective Conan OVA, "The Stranger From 10 Years Later.” Conan (now an 11th grader just like Shinichi was) watches a news broadcast on the streets of Tokyo. It's an interview with an older Heiji Hattori, who smiles politely. The interviewer says, "I've heard that the young ladies have a certain nickname for Hattori-san... "The Lady-Killer of Naniwa." End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that they both respect each other but never fall into unhealthy idolizing, with Heiji not hesitating to call Shinichi out for his bias in the aforementioned Episode 239, with both willing to disagree and not unthinkingly believe anything the other says (see also Episode 174).
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 174. In the first image, with his face shadowed by darkness, Heiji says, “This is very interesting.” In the second image, the full moon is shown, with clouds moving to let its light shine through. Heiji continues, “How unusual. Our deductions aren’t the same.” In the third image, Conan’s face is slightly lit by the moon. He says, with a smile, “Yes, this has only happened once when we first met.” End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that, with the help of their fathers, they both solve the same case while in middle school and are then too ashamed to meet because they feel the other is the better detective for seemingly solving the mystery on his own (Episode 490)... but they still smile fondly at the prospect of finding each other again one day.
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 490. In the first image, with a fond smile on his face, Heiji thinks, "Well, even if I don't see him, if he's a detective..." In the second image, with a similarly fond smile on his face, Shinichi thinks, "We'll get to see each other one day on some mysterious stage." They are both outside at night, with snow falling around them. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that the sponsor screen at the end of the episode (left sponsorless on streaming sites like Viu and Bilibili), which usually consists of a still or short looped animation, is instead a collection of clips from the case that looks like a Heishin fancam.
🔎 The way that the episode, focused on Heiji and Shinichi's relationship, is filled with traditionally romantic imagery, with cherry blossoms in the beginning and, of course, the snow.
🔎 The way that Heiji originally defines Shinichi as his rival but is repeatedly ecstatic to work with Shinichi, not against him. The way that Heiji loves to emphasize their similarities, bringing them closer together rather than farther apart (as pictured below in Episodes 117, 189, and 516), and the way that Shinichi, likewise, is delighted by the existence of a young detective just like him (Episode 490), even blushing when he first learns of Heiji in the manga's version of the story.
[Image descriptions: Three screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 117, Heiji smiles while talking to Conan on the phone, saying, "Yeah, I bet! You and me are a lot alike! We cross paths before we even know it!" In the second image, from Episode 189, Heiji sits with Conan on Conan's hospital bed, holding a bouquet of flowers. Heiji says, "I was shot in the stomach, too. We've got things in common." In the third image, from Episode 516, Heiji smiles broadly while picturing Shinichi, thinking, "It's just as I thought! We're two of a kind, birds of a feather!" End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji gleefully describes himself as Shinichi's best friend rather than Shinichi's rival (Episodes 277, 521). The way that Heiji finds helping and being friendly with Shinichi so much more important than competing against him.
[Image descriptions: Three screenshots. In the first two images, from Episode 277, Heiji smiles and blushes as he says, "This old man [Dr. Agasa] called me, saying that if I, your best friend, came, I could help you." In the third image, from Episode 521, Heiji smiles and blushes in the car as he tells Kogoro, who is driving, "Of course because I'm Shinichi's best friend." End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji engages in some of the silliest—and cutest—shenanigans so that Conan can participate in solving mysteries with him. Be it stuffing Conan in his jacket (Episode 118), lifting Conan up so that he can see evidence (Episodes 263, 278), or even sabotaging a good luck charm to make it so rain would cancel a field trip that'd keep Conan from a case (Episode 325, though, okay, maybe I don't like that example so much...), Heiji treasures working with Shinichi and is so eager to do whatever he can to ensure that his friend can freely do what he loves.
[Image descriptions: Four screenshots. The first image, from Episode 118, shows Heiji unzipping his jacket, where Conan had been hiding. Conan gasps for breath and blushes. The second image, from Episode 263, depicts a rainy scene. Heiji holds up Conan so that Conan can see a photograph held by Inspector Otaki. The third image, from Episode 278, shows Heiji holding up Conan so that Conan can see a photograph held by Inspector Megure. Jodie, behind them, looks at the photograph, too. The fourth image, from Episode 325, shows a sunny boy doll meant to keep the rain away. Heiji’s hand reaches for the doll. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Shinichi asks Heiji for help.
🔎 The way that Shinichi Kudo, the guy who hides his trauma, who'll skip meals out of anxiety without ever admitting what's really on his mind, who forces smiles so that others won't worry about him, whose refusal to ask for help and rely on others is what created Conan in the first place, confides in Heiji. The way that Dr. Agasa, who has been more of a constant in Shinichi's life than his own parents, calls for Heiji, all the way out in Osaka, to help Shinichi—and more than once (Episodes 189, 277)!
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 189. With a serious expression on his face, Heiji sits on Conan's hospital bed, holding a bouquet of flowers. He says, "Truth is, I got a call from an old guy named Agasa last night. He wanted to talk to me about you." Conan looks surprised at these words. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Agasa feels that Shinichi will not open up to anyone else. The way that, even if Shinichi (so far as I know) never explicitly refers to Heiji as his best friend as Heiji does for him, from how he must talk about Heiji, Agasa believes as much.
🔎 The way that Agasa is right. The way that Shinichi does open up to Heiji, especially in Episode 189, where he asks for advice—where he asks, regardless of his near-constant moralizing and strong sense of justice, what Heiji thinks is right. Where he asks what Heiji would do in his place.
[Image descriptions: Two screenshots from Episode 189. In the first image, Conan, in his hospital bed with the bouquet of flowers that Heiji brought on the sheets, says, "Hattori, listen." In the second image, the camera pans out to show Heiji standing by his bed as Conan continues, "What would you do? What do you think is right?" End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that, though it looks amusing out of context because Conan's sitting on the toilet, Shinichi repeats the same question to Heiji hundreds of cases later (Episode 491)—"What would you do? If you were in my position?"—and how, in that case, he's looking for Heiji to supply the same answer that he's already decided for himself because he, too, finds comfort in their similarities. The way that Heiji's identical response then—that he'd "just go for it" regardless of the danger—assures Shinichi that he's making the correct choice even if you could argue that he really isn't.
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 491. Conan sits on the toilet, talking to Heiji on the phone. He says, "What would you do? If you were in my position?" Heiji then answers, “Well, if it were me, I’d just go for it.” But then, with troubled expression on his face, he stammers, “I mean, no, I would...” With a smile, Conan says, “I’d do exactly what you would. I’ll pry as deep as I can into it. Until the curiosity within me dries out.” End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji is always so ready to help Shinichi, be it the little things like lifting him up or the bigger things like trying to give him peace of mind in regards to Ran (Episode 189). The way that Heiji directly says as much in Episode 278—"If any other suspicious persons show up, just call me! I'll run right over!" The way that, as the story progresses, Shinichi asks for Heiji's help without any prompting from anyone else (Episodes 345, 479). The way that Shinichi trusts that Heiji can help, not even bothering to think up a plan to get away and shrink back into Conan where he can't be seen in Episode 522 because he has complete faith in Heiji to handle it.
🔎 The way that Heiji's immediate response to Shinichi's request that he put his life on the line and disguise himself as Shinichi Kudo is to send an "OK" composed entirely out of heart emojis (Episode 345).
[Image descriptions: Two screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 278, Heiji runs and says, "If any other suspicious persons show up, just call me! I'll run right over!" In the second image, from Episode 345, Conan looks at his phone, which has a message up that's just an "OK" composed out of pink heart emojis, which had been sent to him by Heiji. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that the 33rd opening sequence, "Miss Mystery," so beautifully and perfectly encapsulates this aspect of Shinichi and Heiji's relationship. Conan readies himself to handle everything on his own, as he feels he must do, only for Heiji to rush in, without any hesitation, and break through the obstacles in Conan's path. And Conan accepts Heiji's help. More than that, he smiles at Heiji's help, because Heiji gives him strength.
[Image descriptions: GIFs from OP 33, set to the song "Miss Mystery" by BREAKERZ. Conan runs only to stop before long, finding a wall of English text blocking his path. The wall includes the words "DNA," "POISON," "LOCKED ROOM," "ALIBI," "BLOOD TYPE," "ANAGRAM," "FINGERPRINTS," and "DYING MESSAGE," among others. Conan takes a step back and prepares to knock away the text, but Heiji arrives running. Conan looks in surprise as Heiji leaps into the wall and clears the path for him, knocking text away with his feet before landing. Heiji then turns to look at Conan behind him, smiling. After a moment of surprise, Conan returns the smile with one of his own. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Shinichi is truly so grateful to have Heiji in his life. The way that he's immensely frustrated when Heiji declines working a case with him and hangs up the phone (Episode 117). The way that he can't stop thinking about Heiji when his partner suddenly disappears from an investigation (Episode 174). The way that he doesn't want to carry out a deduction show alone when Heiji should be there (Episode 224). The way that he so earnestly and genuinely thanks Heiji for his help in Movie 13, The Raven Chaser.
[Image descriptions: Six screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 117, Heiji, talking to Conan on the phone, hangs up, saying, "Lemme know if you figure anything out! Good luck!" In the second image, also from Episode 117, Conan angrily throws down his phone, swearing, "Damn!" In the third image, from Episode 174, Conan sweats and thinks to himself, with a worried expression on his face, "What's happened to you, Hattori?" In the fourth image, from Episode 224, Conan sits behind Kogoro, preparing for a deduction show, and looks at his watch. He thinks, "Hattori, where are you? Why aren't you here? What're you doing?" In the fifth and six images, from Movie 13, The Raven Chaser, Conan talks to Heiji on the phone. He smiles kindly as he says, "Thank you, Hattori. For real." End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that they both care so much for one another that they have nigh-supernatural instincts about when the other is in danger. The way that Heiji is so haunted by a bad dream of Shinichi's death—which very nearly comes true—that he lends Conan his good luck charm (which then saves Shinichi's life) (Episode 118). The way that Conan instantly knows something is amiss when Heiji is thrown overboard a cruise ship, despite no one else noticing anything and, considering how deep he was in the ship, how he shouldn't have noticed anything himself (Episode 174).
[Image descriptions: Four screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 118, Heiji says, "I had a bad dream..." In the second image, also from Episode 118, Conan has his hand on his face in thought, while in the background, Heiji imagines Shinichi in pain, clutching a bloody wound on his chest. In the third image, from Episode 174, Conan sweats with a horrified expression on his face. In the fourth image, also from Episode 174, Conan asks Kogoro, "Hey, didn't you hear a strange water noise?" End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji always sees Shinichi as himself. The way that his aforementioned nightmare involves Shinichi, not Conan, even though it's Conan who's nearly killed (Episode 118). The way that Heiji describes Conan when asking about other investigators of a case (Episode 516) but pictures Shinichi in his mind (pictured way above). The way that he sees Shinichi in the place of Conan and has to rub his eyes to find reality again (OVA 2).
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from OVA 2, “16 Suspects?!” Both wearing coats and scarves, Heiji stands next to Kazuha outside. She smiles, but Heiji looks as though he can’t believe what he’s seeing. It turns out that he’s seeing Kudo, who crouches next to Ran with a serious expression on his face. Heiji thinks, “Kudou!” He then rubs his eyes and sees reality: Conan standing beside Ran with his hands in his jacket pockets. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Heiji is arguably the catalyst to a more permanent APTX 4869 antidote, and thus, symbolically, the key to Shinichi's true self. Because of him, Shinichi is able to instruct Ai to drink the baigar/paikal/baijiu to escape from Pisco (Episode 177), which not only saves her life but also allows her to procure the drug data necessary to concoct more antidotes.
🔎 The way that Heiji is right by Shinichi's side practically every time that he's able to be himself. The way that the only movie in which Shinichi makes a genuine, non-flashback, non-Kid-in-disguise appearance, Movie 7, Crossroad in the Ancient Capital, features Conan purposefully making himself sick and taking an antidote for Heiji and Kazuha's sake.
🔎 The way that Conan thinks, "Thank you, Harley!" while holding a bottle of alcohol in FUNimation's English dub (Episode 50).
🔎 The way that they both want the best for each other and support one another. The way that Heiji encourages Shinichi to do the right thing when it comes to Ran (Episodes 189, 524). The way that Heiji celebrates Shinichi's successes (Episode 491). The way that Heiji cheers Shinichi up when the conclusion to a case depresses him to such an extent that everyone worries about his wellbeing (Episode 239). The way that the tension leaves Heiji when he sees a smile on his friend's face again.
[Image descriptions: Six screenshots from Episode 239. In the first image, Conan looks sad, holding his face in his hand. Offscreen, Ran says, “Maybe Conan’s the same [as Shinichi] and he’ll start to hate soccer [because something disappointed him about it].” In the second image, Heiji tries to kick a soccer ball but drops it. In the third image, Conan says, “You’re lousy.” In the fourth image, Conan starts kicking the soccer ball himself, saying, “This is how you do it!” In the fifth image, Heiji smiles in relief. In the sixth image, Conan smiles as he kicks the soccer ball. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that Shinichi attempts the same lifting of spirits for Heiji when Heiji's found himself angry and irritated for reasons he doesn't understand (Episode 406). The way that Shinichi is sincerely flustered that his pick-me-up effort fails.
[Image descriptions: Two screenshots from Episode 406. In the first image, Conan holds on to Heiji with his hands over Heiji's eyes. Heiji, standing, grips Conan's arms, saying, "Hey! Stop it!" Conan, imitating Kazuha, says, "It's me!" In the second image, Conan sits on the ground and looks up, a surprised expression on his face. He blushes slightly as he thinks to himself, "Hey, Hattori." End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that, when Heiji admits his insecurities (Episode 479), Shinichi assures him that he's in the right without any teasing or sass. The way that, throughout that case, Shinichi is always by Heiji's side, even as Heiji gets insulted left and right. The way that Shinichi never follows Hakuba and openly defends his friend.
[Image descriptions: Screenshots from Episode 479. With a serious expression on his face, Heiji asks, “Hey, Kudo. Am I wrong?” Conan answers with a smile, saying, “No. Not at all.” End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that there's an official illustration that depicts "Conan's Dream Vacation"... which involves Shinichi as himself playing beach volleyball with Heiji, Ran, and Kazuha.
[Image description: An illustration that depicts Conan dreaming about playing beach volleyball with Heiji, Ran, and Kazuha as Shinichi. End image description.]
🔎 The way that the cover art for a movie guidebook promoting Movie 21, The Crimson Love Letter, shows Conan unabashedly enjoying a piggyback ride from Heiji.
[Image description: The cover of a book that depicts Conan on Heiji's back in a piggyback ride as he walks down the street. They both smile broadly and share street food. The text advertises the book's contents, and there are two images of Momiji on the bottom left. End image description.]
🔎 The way that they're so in sync that they come to the same conclusions at the same time even when they're not directly working with each other (Episodes 58, 490).
[Image descriptions: Five screenshots. In the first three images, from Episode 58, Conan and Heiji make a realization at the same time, which is visually represented with a flash of light and their eyes widening. Heiji then thinks, with a smile, "That's it!" Afterwards, Conan thinks, with a smile, "Now I see!" In the fourth image, from Episode 490, a detective, on the phone with Shinichi, says, "He [Shinichi] is telling the exact same deduction as that boy [Heiji] with the exact same timing." In the fifth image, also from Episode 490, Shinichi and Heiji, in different locations, are shown reacting in surprise to this revelation. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that they Vibe. The way that they finish each other's sentences and speak in unison (Episodes 142, 174). The way that they smile at each other when they've realized the same thing simultaneously or succeeded in their goal (Episodes 293, 327, 522). The way that it's repeatedly stated that they're such good friends (Episodes 191, 325) because they love being together and make that love no secret.
[Image descriptions: Five screenshots. In the first image, from Episode 142, Conan and Heiji sit in a tree and smile at each other, saying, in unison, "The case is hereby closed." In the second image, from Episode 174, it's nighttime, and Conan and Heiji smile broadly at each other as they bring their faces close together and say, in unison, "A fake!" In the third image, from Episode 293, Heiji crouches so that he is eye level with Conan and smiles at him. Conan eagerly smiles back. In the fourth image, from Episode 327, Conan looks up at Heiji and smiles, and Heiji smiles back. In the fifth image, from Episode 522, Shinichi and Heiji sit in a car and smile at one another. End image descriptions.]
🔎 The way that they're both so good for each other—"that Heiji is someone Shinichi can trust and rely on when he’s forced to keep so many secrets, and that Shinichi is someone who respects and values Heiji when he’s so plagued by self-doubt."

#Wacky Drabbles No. 11
Happy Birthday Drake
Prompt: " Did you have fun? "
Rated: (M 18+)
Pairing: Damien Nazario × Drake Walker
Tagging wacky drabblers:
@emceesynonymroll @jovialyouthmusic @sirbeepsalot @dcbbw @speedyoperarascalparty @bbrandy2002 @jessiembruno @brightpinkpeppercorn @mfackenthal @qween-corgis @gardeningourmet @pedudley
Word count: no idea, cuz I wrote it here.
____________
Drake woke up tangled in hotel sheets. Stretching out his limbs lazily with a sigh, the throbbing in his head reminded him of last night's drinking binge.
Rolling over toward his bed partner, he hugs the pillow against his stubbled cheek and gazes into a face with a pair of chocolatey brown eyes and a sleepy smile.
"Good morning Mr. Nazario." He drawls with a smirk.
Damien leans over placing his warm hand on Drake's rough cheek, bringing him in for a soft kiss. "Good morning to you too hot stuff."
Drake kicks off what's left of the sheet, sliding his foot over to nudge against Damien's shin. "Hot stuff huh?"
Tilting his head back to take in Drake's naked profile in the morning light, Damien swallows as his breath catches in his throat. Memories of the drunken night before come back to him in hot passionate flashes of skin on skin.
----
It had been Drake's Birthday, and they'd been at a bar. They were just two anonymous guys at first, nursing tumblers of whiskey and watching the room as they sat on barstools. As the evening wore on and sweaty drunken people wandered over from the dance floor to order mixed drinks full of more ice than alcohol, he and Drake had outlasted them all.
Drake was on his third double whiskey and feeling fairly buzzed and relaxed when he noticed the man at the other end of the bar watching him. Lifting his glass in greeting, he's met with a slight nod and a grin from the other guy.
Damien had been casually watching the tall handsome devil all evening. He'd seen busty drunk girls sidle up to him and flirt but get brushed off with a shake of his head or a sullen frown. He had found it odd that someone so desirable could be so unwilling to accept a date. When the younger man had finally lifted his glass and made eye contact, he'd felt a sizzle of attraction and couldn't help but smile back. It had been a while since Damien had shared the company of a man so attractive, and he decided to take the leap and introduce himself. After downing the rest of his whiskey he fished a handful of bills out of his wallet and placed them on the bar and set his glass on top.
Walking around the corner of the bar, he notices the other guy glance at him and then look away. When he nervously rubs the back of his neck and then shifts his gaze down to the floor, it makes Damien smile. He knows I'm coming over for him.
Damien stops a few feet away, putting a barstool between them and then catches the attention of the bartender. "Excuse me barkeep, what kind of payment does the pool table over there take?"
"It takes coins," Drake interrupts, tossing back the last of his whiskey.
"Wanna play?" Damien asks, with a grin.
Drake gives the man with the dark hair and soulful eyes a quick sweep with his gaze, trying to gauge if he was flirting or just bored. With the amount of alcohol thrumming through his veins at this point his inhibitions were pretty low and he didn't care either way.
"Okay, sure. It's my lucky day and I'm feeling generous so I'll buy the first game."
Damien nods, slapping down a few bills on the bar. "Ok, if you buy the game I'll buy the beers."
Pushing away from the bar, Drake smiles. "Works for me. I'm Drake by the way."
Damien picks up the bottles of beer and then jerks his head in the direction of the table. "Damien. Lead the way."
Taking a sip from the bottle, Damien followed Drake across the room, appreciating the way his straight leg jeans hugged his ass and thighs. That sizzle of attraction buzzed through his veins again, and he took another sip of beer to cool the heat crawling through his belly. Setting the bottles on a side table, Damien peels off his leather jacket and then unbuttons and rolls up his sleeves. He felt very warm and wished he'd opted to wear a tshirt like Drake had. Taking another swallow of beer, he opens the top button on his dress shirt.
Drake shoves his hand in the front pocket of his jeans searching for coins to pay for their game. Damien's eyes are drawn down to his groin and the way he adjusts himself slightly as he digs for coins. Sweet Jesus, the way he fills out his jeans. Or maybe it's just the layers of denim and zipper giving an illusion of more? Fuck, it's indecent the shape of what he's packing.
Drake catches him looking and clears his throat, sending Damien's gaze back up to focus on his face. "So I come to this place often but haven't seen you here before."
Damien leans against the table, crossing his arms across his chest. He hesitates a moment, wondering what to tell Drake about himself. "I'm not from here, just passing through between jobs."
Drake takes in the worn quality of Damien's clothing, the scuff on his boots, trying to decipher what he did for a living. There was a slight wrinkle to his cotton shirt as if it hadn't been folded up or seen a hanger for a while. Damien's style wasn't that much different than his own. Wash and wear, throw on the floor, then wear again.
Damien startles Drake out of his idle thoughts, the whiskey was evidently starting to make his mind fuzzy around the edges.
"So you said it was your lucky day. What's so special about today?"
Drake smiles as he puts coins in the pay slot of the pool table and releases the balls for play. "Oh yeah, I said that didn't I? It's my Birthday today."
After Drake straightens back up, Damien claps him hard on the shoulder, and smiles, "Really? Hey that's great man, Happy Birthday."
Drake nods, his shoulder tingling from the slap. He'd only been touched that way by his friends. And for some reason he felt excited about how Damien's slap made his skin tingle. Sucking in a deep breath, he grabs the ball frame and arranges the pool balls on the table for play. "Uh, Okay..Damien. Go grab a couple of cues and let's play."
What was it about this guy that made me want to do things I've never done before? Maybe it's the way he keeps looking at me like I'm a snack. He's so smooth and charming, and commanding but not in a rude or condescending sort of way like I'm used to hearing from the nobility. I kind of like it.
An hour, and three beers each later, Drake was up two games to one. Was Damien really that bad a player or was he just sloppy from the alcohol?
They'd joked about random stuff, talked about women and argued about whose favorite teams were better, ranging from football, baseball to basketball and beyond.
They hadn't realized how late it was until the bar was empty, and the lights went up. The bartender thumped his hand on the bar to get their attention, "Alright guys, it's closing time. You have a tab, now settle it. Call a taxi, stagger home, or whatever, I don't care. But you can't stay here."
Drake looked at Damien's grinning face, and the glassy luster of his eyes. He looked about as drunk as Drake felt. Shrugging into his leather jacket, Damien pulls his wallet out of his pocket and hands it to Drake. "Here, pay the man I gotta go take a piss."
Drake's mouth drops open, as he watches Damien shuffle his way to bathroom at the back of the bar. Glancing over at the collection of empty beer bottles on the table, he reluctantly opens the wallet and tries not to look at anything personal. Damien has an impressive wad of cash. There was a mixture of Euros, American and Canadian. Who was this guy?
Drake grabs a bunch of Euros and hands them to the bartender, stealing a glance at his ID before closing the wallet. Damien Nazario, New York City.
There was some other sort of identification card that Drake didn't get a good look at in time before he saw Damien returning from the bathroom.
"All paid up?" Damien asks as Drake nods and hands him back his wallet.
The bartender folds his arms across his chest, giving his head a jerk in the direction of the door. Time to get the fuck out.
Drake and Damien both wave goodbye to the bartender and follow eachother out into the cool evening air. Drake gasps involuntarily, the cool air sobering him up somewhat because he hadn't worn a jacket.
Damien glances up and down the deserted street, not seeing a taxi stand or bus stop in sight. Drake's shoulders are hunched and he has his hands shoved deep in his pockets. He looked cold. Damien bites his lip, considering their options. He didn't feel like going back to his hotel alone, and he didn't want to see Drake wander off cold and alone on his Birthday either.
Pulling off his jacket he offers it to Drake. "Here you can borrow this. I dunno if we're the same size, but at least you won't be so cold."
Drake looks at Damien, feeling unsure. Offering a jacket to your companion is usually a date night sort of thing. Was Damien suddenly his date? They had just spent the evening drinking and playing pool together, but just by chance. It wasn't a date.
Damien raises his eyebrows in question, "Well? You want it or not? You can walk me back to my hotel and then hand it back."
Drake shrugs, "Yeah, what the Hell. We're just two guys walking up the street together. Nothing unusual about that right?"
"Right."
Drake slides his arms into Damien's leather jacket. It smelled of his cologne, sweat and coffee. Things that were uniquely Damien. Drake liked how it smelled. It was a little tight in the shoulders so Drake didn't zip it up. He appreciated the kind gesture, and it was full of Damien's body heat, which was oddly exciting.
"Thanks." He says, falling into step next to Damien as they head up the sidewalk.
As they walk, Damien did up the buttons of his shirt and unrolled his sleeves to keep himself from getting cold. Although they had spent the past hour together, Damien was only now realizing how much taller Drake was than him. A couple of inches for sure. And in his jacket he came off as broader and bigger as well. This only made Damien want him more. If only for one night, to make Drake's Birthday one to remember.
They don't talk as they walk together. Both entertaining their own thoughts over where this night may be heading. As they approach the front doors of the Hotel, Damien stops walking and grabs Drake by the forearm and pulls him into the dark alley. Drake is off balance as Damien pulls him close and whispers in his ear. "Happy Birthday Drake, did you have fun tonight?"
Struck speechless by the heat of his breath in his ear, all Drake can do is nod.
Damien's voice is a low rumble as he says, "The fun doesn't have to stop yet."

Nocturne Alchemy Summer Limited Reviews
Originally published on 7/2/2019
Yikes. So I never finished my Vaults, did I? Well, I'll have to come back to it! Right now, I have a few reviews I wanted to get posted from the Nocturne Alchemy Summer Limited Collection release. I'm also including a brief review of the PC Eternal Egypt, for reference purposes! I chose three perfumes, and they sent me one of their choice because I won a giveaway on their business FB page. So what I have here, in the picture, is Eternal Egypt Summer, Eternal Egypt Ambre, Chamomile, Vanilla & Spice Tea, and Apricot Sugar. The sample is Kashmir, which is the free sample while available, that they send along with orders. Any of you who have been following me for a while know that Kashmir is one of my favorites! Let's hop right to it, shall we?
First off, I want to talk about one of my desert island scents - Eternal Egypt. I'll be brief, but I think it's helpful for comparison to the two special versions I picked from the Summer LC. The NA site has this description: Eternal Egypt (Signature Blend): White Amber, Red Egyptian Musk, Egyptian Amber and the sands of Egypt.
I started off with a sample of this many moons ago, and at first I was a little leery - I had ridiculously bad luck wearing ambers. Smelled like baby powder on my skin. I think I wound up putting the sample in my box for about six months, and one day I dug it out and waved it in front of Jody's nose. Win. He was instantly a fan, and he remains one to this day - it's one of his favorites on me and he can name it when I wear it. I think it's the only one he knows, even though he has others he loves, too. It truly is a signature scent. I graduated from the sample, to a 5ml, and now I have a 10ml I'm flying through. The white amber gives this almost a coconut vibe? This is very bright and fresh, and that sandy note, I don't know how they do it, but this is just such a classy scent. It feels like a high end perfume, but at the same time, it's very easy to wear. I must say this is pretty perfect to represent Egypt - when I wear it, I am transported. I feel like the red musk gives this just the slightest bit of sexiness. If you've tried Crimson, I think that's the red musk here, or something similar, as it's not the bold red musk style of Kashmir. It's clean and a little spicy, and very appealing. The combination of the musk and amber is just totally perfect.
I've added a picture of Eternal Egypt Summer and Eternal Egypt Ambre side by side, so you can see the height difference. Ambre isn't as big as my 10ml original EE, but it's definitely larger than the standard 5ml.
One thing I want to mention, about a lot of Nocturne Alchemy perfumes, and particularly Eternal Egypt: these do get travel shocked. So a little caution note, a little imploring: Please do not judge these by what they smell like when you first get them - and please, please try them on your skin before you dismiss them. They change quite a lot with some rest, and what you smell in the bottle can be very different once it melds with your skin and warms up. Eternal Egypt variations in particular seem to do a lot of "filling out" with age; they get richer, more beautiful - the notes seem to meld and really reach their full potential with a little time in your possession. So my initial reviews will stand, but it's like they're amplified TL;DR? Give these some time. It's summer, it's hot, they've traveled a distance to get to you.
Eternal Egypt Summer is part of the sub-collection Eternal Summer. Notes are: White Amber, Labdanum, Crystalline, a little eNVie saphir Amber, Copal, Guaiac wood, Lavender, NA Chypre accord. I opened this fresh out of the mail (not advised, ever, I have to say, but I have no self-restraint) and I swooned a little. This is pretty different than the original. It's got a cool feel to it. I gave it a few days to rest before I tried it on my skin, but I could kind of tell right away I was going to love this. Converse to the cool feel, there's a warmth here from the copal, a sweetness from the guaiac. The lavender isn't a star, but I think rather blends with the chypre, which is absolutely lovely. I usually like chypres, and this is no exception. You can definitely tell that there's an essence of Eternal Egypt to this, but if you're worried you might be getting a dupe, you're definitely not. How does this make me feel? Like I'm at the beach. It's a perfect, sunny day, the water is a sparkling turquoise, and there's a cool sea breeze on my sun-warmed skin. Yes, this feels like summer to me.
Eternal Egypt Ambre is a part of the 13th anniversary collection. NA says this: Eternal Egypt Anniversary Collection – a reinterpretation with exclusive notes, beautiful blue pearl bottles but most importantly celebrating thirteen years of the original perfume blend from Nocturne Alchemy in four new iterations and limited to 75 bottles each. From the elegant label art to the carefully chosen bottle and the exquisite ingredients, the owner & creator of Nocturne Alchemy (Emerson Hart) wanted the create something to honour the first perfume created at Nocturne Alchemy thirteen years ago. Aging these perfume will bring out the resins and natural notes.
The notes for Eternal Egypt Ambre are: Bastet’s Amber Absolute, Labdanum, Cedar essential, Palo Santo essential, Black Patchouli, Benzoin, Heliotrope, Smoked Balsam of Peru, Italian Lavandin, Black Pepper and White Amber Absolute. Oooof. Well, y'all already know how much I adore Bastet Amber, and here we have my two desert island scents? Okay, that was an obvious gimme. This, too, is pretty obviously different from the original Eternal Egypt. The bottle is GORGEOUS, as is the label! When I first got this, it was far more travel shocked than Eternal Egypt Summer. I couldn't really tell what was going on, and there was almost a black licorice note in the bottle sniff. What? Turns out, that's the palo santo note. It can smell like anise, or minty...but I gave this a good bit of rest before I tried it on my skin. Four days. The anise had calmed down, and I could get an idea of what this was going to be like on my skin, I thought - except, it was so much better than I could have imagined! It absolutely transformed once it warmed up and melded with my skin. Wow. This is more complex, and sexier, than Summer. I'm having a hard time picking out individual notes, that's how well blended this one is. If Summer is bright and fun, a day at the beach - Ambre is a sultry summer night, a slinky black dress, and low slung heels. The palo santo gives this a cool feel, as does the white amber.
Honestly just so glad I chose both of these, I have several variations of Eternal Egypt, because I love it that much, and these are two wonderful additions to my collection. Backup worthy, really.
One of my favorite things Nocturne Alchemy does for their Summer Collections are the Summer Tea and Tea Service. You can read my reviews here, although I've added more that I haven't reviewed from previous collections. The Summer Tea Service reviews are separate, you can find them here. Y'all, it's hot in Florida. And it's hot from April right through December these days. I find myself craving the Summer Teas as soon as it warms up, so they get a lot of wear from me. Green Tea Crimson is easily in my top five all time favorites, ever.
Last year I missed out, but my good friend Heather grabbed Apricot Sugar, and absolutely adored it. So I promised myself if it came back in the Resurgence, I would for sure have to nab it - it seemed like everything she wore it with was perfect, and of course, it was wearable alone. So I chose that for my third bottle, and as I mentioned, I won a giveaway (thanks, y'all, SO much!) on the Nocturne Alchemy business page, for a free bottle of their choice from the LCs. They chose Chamomile, Vanilla & Spice Tea for me. I had already eyed it, because it sounded delightful. The notes for this are: Blue German Chamomile, Bastet’s Ice Cream Accord, Vanilla Bean, Vanilla essence, Black Tea, Cardamom Spice and a little sugar. I love chamomile tea. I have one that's chamomile and vanilla, and it's so soothing, puts me right to sleep! And Jody's mom grows chamomile. This is very realistic. I guess this could possibly go a little floral, but they are such masters at blending, that never happens here. It's got a bit of a floral/herbal tinge to it, for sure, but it's reigned in beautifully by the vanillas. The cardamom is more of a supporting note on my skin, just a slightly spiced warmth, honestly, it's perfection. The balance here is superb. The black tea is something I utterly love, and it adds a little strength to this. Unfh. I've mentioned before, I didn't use to like tea notes, they would go bitter on my skin, but that's never happened with NA, and this is no exception. This is just so appealing! I could not be happier with what they chose for me, I adore it. The ice cream accord adds a tiny bit of foodiness, and it's at the perfect amount. Yum. Obviously, you can easily wear this alone, but I love to layer my Summer Teas with the Tea Service, it just is the perfect compliment. The first time I wore this, I added a little dab of Apricot Sugar, because that's what I had on hand, and it was delightful! I wasn't sure if it was going to wear well with this one, but I have to say if you have both of these you really should try this, it was a wonderful surprise. I've since tried Rice Milk and Sugarcube, and those are both easy winners, too. I haven't tried Sweet Santalum Milk or Coconut Milk, but I suspect those will work well, too - or even my original Bastet's Ice Cream Accord, if you want your tea to be a little creamier/more foodie.
Apricot Sugar: Apricot stone essence, Apricot Skin, Egyptian Sugar accord, Papaya skin and Vanilla fleck. Oh, how much do I love NA's sugar note. It's just so dang good! I have a couple of bottles of the original Sugarcube, and I have worn it alone, because I love it so much. There's almost a freshness to it, and of course sweetness - but it's not tooth-achingly sweet, if that makes sense. That base is pretty present here, more so than it is with Lemon Sugar. The apricot is bright, juicy and just a little tangy, and extremely realistic. I think the papaya skin is more of a supporting note, I've had it in other blends and enjoyed it, but I don't really notice it here. It may be adding to that juiciness. This is a simple blend, but it was meant to be layered, and it really shines when you do that. As I mentioned above, I wore it with Chamomile, Vanilla & Spice Tea, and I've also worn it with White Tea Vanilla, and Crystal, so far. I'm going to try it with Santalum White and White Ambre Ombre, because I feel like those will be great pairings, too. I think this is a very versatile layering perfume, and would be lovely with so many perfumes. Anything with vanilla, for sure. Bastet Ice Cream Accord, some Dinos, Eternal Ankh, really I think anything you think might work. I bet it would be pretty with Egyptian Musk, and definitely Diamond. I'm so happy I grabbed this! If you were a fan of, or yearning for, Love of Bastet: Pink Vanille, I think you should definitely get this.
I have Dimetrodon from last year, but I've run out of time, today, so I'll post that separately. It's currently available in the Summer LC Resurgence, in the Prehistoria collection.
What did you choose from this release? What are you looking at? I'm eyeing a Dino or two, and more Teas....always more Teas! I hope y'all enjoyed these reviews, and they helped you to make some decisions. As always, thanks for reading!
