hmmm wouldnt it be cool if kpop songs actually had substance
#not hating just :/#like i occasionally see the new big kpop stuff bc i watch a lot of dancing videos and inevitably covers/tutorials come up#and so i recently have been seeing aespa's amageddon#which has a really cool dance and vibe and the mv has cool aspects#and so from that i started thinking about like a commentary on ai and survaillance states#and comparing that to religious armageddon and i was intruged on what the point they were trying to make was#but then looking at the lyrics there's nothing there#which i guess makes sense since the point of the songs is just to get popular which only needs surface level attention#:/#but they had a cool starting idea and i would have loved to see it actually developed/mean anything#but nope just used as an aesthetic.#sigh
