my mom wants to get married again and i dont like it.

ok so after work instead of coming home my mother went to her boyfriends house. i dont have anything against him, hes nice, treats her well, his kids are also nice, i like him and i think hes the best boyfriend my mother has ever had. but i dont like the ideia of her getting married again and change our whole life to adapt to her new marriage.

my mom is in her 50s and she feels very old and unattractive because of her age (besides i always say its the opposite and that she is beautiful), so i understand that she wants to get married to a man who finds and makes her feel pretty, but the thing that makes me feel 🧍🏻‍♀️ about it is the fact that theyre together for less than 6 months now, its too early to think about marriage...she says that time doesnt matter because she dated my dad for 8 years before getting married but 6 months its so.....precipitate...

ig im being too selfish not accepting it, but it will change Everything, and i like how things are now. i like my house. i like how my relationship with my mother is. i like her boyfriend living in his house. i dont wanna move, i dont wanna share a room with my brother or my future step sister, i dont wanna be left aside by my mom. i want everything to be as they are now.

she said that im being childish and that i dont want her to be happy but its not true, i love her sm and obviously i want her to be happy, but i think she needs to understand that this also affects ME, not only her...

now im crying in my room while i pretend im sleeping for school and shes talking to her future fiancé 👍🏻 gn

��KIYOKO NEW CUSTOMERS,” you hollered to the back of the store at the sound of people yelling outside.

“ARE WE EXPECTING ANYONE?” kiyoko yells back, as its the fourth of july and there have been no customers, everyone staying at home making their own barbecue.

“UHH I LET IWA AND CO THAT THEY COULD COME?? IDK WHY BUT I DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE COMING TODAY OH SHIT IT IS THEM HIDE ME-” you scream slowly lowering your voice to a mere talking voice as kiyoko comes to the front.

“ok tanakas ready for you, ill handle them,” she says as they kiss you on the cheek and lightly shoves pushes you towards the back.

“haha, hey tanaka,” you say as you launch yourself in almost crashing into the metal table.

“yo be more careful. i know your the manager and all but like down girl this is my turf,” he says with a slight bark at the end. no like a dogs bark.

“shove off we have customers ok? we cant have them thinking we have a rabid animal in our kitchen,” you tease while rolling your eyes.

“ooh who?” he asks. “are they the pretty boys from the other day?”

“our family friends..?”

“yup those are the ones!”

“yeah, yeah it is them,” you sigh, leaning on the wall. tanaka wasnt just kiyokos boyfriend, or your best friends boyfriend. no, he was a family friend and practically a brother. kiyoko had been here for a lot but tanaka was here for more. hell, youre the one who introduced them in the first place. as you lean reminiscing on your memories with the people you called family, you hear tanaka snort and chuckle under his breathe ruining the moment of silence you two were having.

“what.”

“NOTHING,” he said putting his hands up. “well, i was just thinking how stupid you were-”

you didnt let him finish, cutting him off by throwing a towel at his face.

“no more out of you. im the manager here, i can literally cut your pay.”

“-to never see how madly in love mattsun was with you. thats what i was going to say now stop threatening me,” he finished with a joking pout.

“oh shut up ok how do you even know he ever liked me? much less loved,” you scoff. as kiyoko sends over the order, you look at it finding mattsuns immediately.

“a blt? still? and with no pickles. wow,” you say dragging it out. “what a basic bitch.”

“in all my years of working here,”

“youve worked here for 8 months.”

“in all my months of working here, ive never gotten a customer that put no pickles in their sandwich. this must be a new record. i mean doesnt he know you make them fresh every day and thats why were popular?”

“he must not. well i mean think about it this way, if he does get pickles, not half as good as mine if i do say so myself, hed give his s/o the side pickles.”

“TRUE TRUE,” tanaka said agreeing very loudly with you. “but what if its a how i met your mother lily and marshall olive situation?”

as you gasp your finger rests on your mouth wondering if that really could be the case. “than why did he not order mine? thats all people come here for anyways.”

“i think he really just doesnt know y/n.”

“ok then. are the sandwiches done?” you ask in an attempt to change the subject.

“yup im about to send them over,” he replied, knowing that talking about mattsun this much was enough for today, letting you change the topic.

‘well at least these are the last customers of the day’, you think to yourself.

‘i wish i would get his side pickles’ the 15 year old in you screams in silence.

so from what alex told me, this started bc wickymicky gwen was getting angry in the tags of one of his yeji posts abt how yeji wanted to help midzy's feel better and started ranting about how idols arent therapists & went on to talk down on people who find their idols inspiring/comforting. alex ignored that but it was still like ?????

and then today, someone with an aespa GO let people change their choices after giselle said the nword & that GO manager was getting hate for it and alex vented abt how people are allowed to change their minds about things like that. then wickymicky gwen started making indirects about how they dont understand the hype of photocards and collecting and how they listen to music online & see no pointing in cds/albums or photocards since it's online.

and alex replied explaining that it's like collecting anything else like coins & not everything is online unless people put it online (like pc/photobook scans, cd exclusive tracks/etc). but then they just kept going about how they dont get it and how the whole thing with collecting/buying kpop merch is useless and expensive. like .. kept posting variations of that stance saying things like how their adhd & being poor stops them from collecting and how their brain must work different & how theyre too neurodivergant than those who partake. (those are their words from their own posts🧍🏻‍♀️) and it was getting really excessive and annoying? like it wasnt just alex who felt like this was getting annoying, but other people who followed/knows them too. it overall came off as her putting herself above everyone who does buy kpop merchandise (albums, lightsticks, photocards, etc) & comparing photocards to nfts? she just keeps talking about how she's different and sees the whole concept of collecting pointless. even went as far as calling herself an anarchist because she doesnt partake in buying merch???

alex blocked/moved on but then she kept posting about how it was all because of photocards and funny. then alex went back to clarify it was the way she was talking about everything like she's better & then after alex blocked again, she kept posting about how she doesn't care about the situation or even correcting alex (on what? who knows bc ????).

then alex got 3 different anons talking about how the user overall was very ..... ??????? like an anon said that she rb'd an edit someone made just to talk about how ugly it was in the tags. and apparently they just would continuously talk shit on different content creators 🧍🏻‍♀️
