MIDNIGHT DANCES
ft. tenshouin eichi
© tokusaatsus 2022
Tumblr media
warnings: mentions of death + hospitals
Tumblr media
“Are you sure this is okay?”
Your eyes flicker around nervously. Should anyone see you…your punishment would be painful. The fear of being caught makes your steps quieter, yet your heartbeat louder.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Everything in the Tenshouin mansion gleams, gilded gold and marbled white. Especially the ballroom. This is the height of extravagance–what house has a ballroom? Even the smallest bit of tile flooring is probably worth more than your entire life’s savings.
Eichi simply smiles at you. “Don’t worry,” He says. “If they catch us, you can just say you got lost looking for the bathroom and I was helping you find your way back.”
You got lost looking for the bathroom..and somehow ended up in the ballroom, slowly swaying back and forth in a clumsy embrace? Your eyebrows raise slowly. Who’d be stupid enough to believe that? Eichi clearly notices your skepticism, but he just laughs and twirls you on childish feet. “You’ll get wrinkles if you frown so hard.”
You stick your tongue out at him. He giggles harder.
“You know,” He says conversationally. “This is the first time I’ve gotten to dance with someone in this room.” You stay silent, sensing he has more to tell, and instead concentrate your energy on following his footsteps. One two three, one two three, one two three… “They never let me, before. I was too sick, too weak.”
You bite your lip.
“This might be the last time I ever dance with someone.” Don’t say that, you think. But it’s true. You’ve heard the whispers, the gossip. The doctors say he might not live past twelve. “I’m glad that it’s with you.”
Tumblr media
“Y/N, do you remember when we used to dance in the ballroom together as children?”
You look up from your phone, eyes a little wide. “Wh–Yeah, I do…but why are you thinking about that now? Nighttime fantasy, or something?”
Hasumi gives the two of you an annoyed look, which goes largely ignored. Eichi chuckles. “Well, you used to trod on my feet all the time when we danced. I do recall complaining about how much it hurt.”
“I was eleven,” You mumble with a roll of your eyes. Besides, you weren’t the one who had initiated those little lessons. “And I’m better now. No thanks to your teachings.”
“Oh, really?” Eichi raises an eyebrow. “Care to give us a demonstration, then?”
“Not here you won’t.” Hasumi snaps, barely lifting his eyes from his laptop screen.
“Don’t be a spoilsport, Keito~”
“Get out. Now. Out!” Hasumi sounds like he’s about to pop a blood vessel. You decide it might be best to remove Eichi from the vicinity, before Hasumi has a rage-induced heart-attack. You grab Eichi by the hand and dash out of the room, waving goodbye to Hasumi as you do so.
“Hm? Where are we going?” Eichi asks, content to be dragged along behind you.
“I thought you said you wanted to dance?” You smile shyly as you lead him to the rooftop. “So we’re going to dance.”
Under the watchful gaze of the stars and moon, you gently put your hands on his waist. He raises an eyebrow–you’re leading?–but dutifully places his hands on your shoulders. You take a quick breath. Left foot first…
You stumble a bit, and only your quick thinking keeps you from messing up the footwork, Eichi hums a soft melody under his breath, one you recognise as a fine song, and you find that it’s easier to focus when you block out the rest of the world–and instead focus on Eichi. The sound of his voice. The warmth of his breath. The firmness of his hands.
“You’re doing well,” He says, after a while of mostly silent swaying. There’s a wistful quality to those words–so many things in your life that he’s missed, when he was confined to that hospital bed. “You’ve improved a lot since childhood.” You look up, a retort on your lips, but it fades when you see the soft look in his eyes. Oh.
“Yeah,” You say instead, impossibly fond. “Happy birthday, Eichi.”

Thinking about what snakes the tamers would have has been so tedious, mostly because they never give us their pasts beyond what their feelings are about it (except keito to some extent, even if its just a side story)
Michi was somewhat easy to an extent mostly because of how she wears her emotions on her sleave.
I would give her Stealing eyes(mind reading)
because she wanted to understand why takumi was the way he was. She understand that the skullgreymon was in pain when nobody else could. She was very intune with sara to the point of falling into despair by grandracmon because sara didn't understand her. She would not do well with mindeeading so intense she sees memories, emotions, and for an entire city no less, but it would make her more desperate to find other people like herself.
Mayu was also kinda easy, mostly due to her caring nature that cane be seen as close to ayano's(because not many in kagepro are as caring as her)
But, due to her decisiveness, I'm struggling to think of an eye ability that would work for her other than favoring eyes, because those would be the easy way out.
So i would pick concealing eyes for mayu. However, i feel she'd gain a good bit of control over said ability over the years to just forget and conceal her feelings of independency and maybe hide from others when she just doesn't want others to see her when she's being indecisive
As for keito, deceiving eyes. He's in a jazz band, in college, definitely using it to try and appare like a normal person, or like a cat, or that he's working on his laptop like a normal person but he's really not.
Takumi was so. Fucking hard.
My man protects people, but he's also and asshole about it. He takes on emotions and responsibilities all on his own like its as easy as breathing in the deep dark ocean. What would this fuck ass idiot wish for if hes a fuckin outcast???
And you know what? I'm giving him favoring eyes. He has such a hard time actually saying what he means without being an ass, he's getting the snake that gives out emotions and memories like its candy. Good luck being mysterious now alpha male.
Kazuma should be getting focusing eyes, as they focus in on finding certain things, objects or people, and this dude spent half of arc 2 trying to find takumi.
Sara would get awakening eyes, simply for the fact she was in the hospital at one point, and i think michi would like it if she was buff
Eiji gets clearing eyes of course, he wants to see his mother again, and saerou would clearly find it amusing how a human is so willing to go along with its plans to achieve such a thing, no matter the cost.

the clock walks by along with the small sounds of ticks.
the room was vast and silent, sun beginning to set steadily down as they were visible from the window stills that reflected through the walls. you looked down your watch before going back to type down to your laptop. a few more words to go and you were done for todays work. the undead rehearsal room was never really this was quiet before—when koga wasn’t here was what you meant.
looking over at the finished reports, you take three looks at them for one more time before your hands stopped from typing, and stretched. man, what a long day. since anzu had to take care of trickstar’s next live at the moment—in the meantime, she had to leave some of the work to you. it wasn’t much, just some paperwork for the idols that you had to deliver to eichi.
now that the afternoon had arrived, a lot of idols had headed home after a long day of practice. it was usual for clubs to stay until night (not to mention ryuseitai was next to hold a live concert after trickstar, so they were going to practice all day), though here you are as a student from the production course in yumenosaki finishing all reports needed for today. as a tired sigh escapes your lips, your eyes locked outside of the window. you can see kaoru walking alongside with girls…typical. and morisawa was walking down on the sidewalk (must be looking for kanata in the fountains again while practicing).
there was a brief moment where you wanted to stop where you’re at and take a minute nap down on your desk, though there’s this other side of you that’s lifting your chin up and tells you to finish your work that anzu has left for you. you didn’t want the girl to work again with the pages you left after taking care of trickstar. she must had a lot on her shoulders. so, once again you continued to type down your work until you were done.
it didn’t take forever of course when you finally finished your job. you stood up with the organized files in hand and headed straight to the student council room to lend them to eichi who too was doing work along with keito on the sides.
“mm…good work, y/n. thank you so much from lending these, you can take a rest now, it is much appreciated. thank you once again,” eichi says after you placed the pile of finished paperwork on his desk. you bowed before leaving the room, nothing else to say.
at last, you can now head home.
today’s schedule for all idols you were assigned to take care of were all marked done, and there was nothing else to do. the walk down the hallway shone by the orange tainted sunlight reflected down on the floor—you took a small stop for a while to take a look outside before yet again walking back to the rehearsal room and grab your stuff.
as you entered the room and started to gather your items in one place, you seemed to have remember something your classmate said back in middle school. it wasn’t much of a big deal, however what they’d said regarding gender of how you should like this certainly was because that was the role of your very own gender, it took a while for you to be bothered by it. it wasn’t trauma, it was just…yeah, a little bothering. and because of it, you didn’t know who or what you were for a while after that. you shook your head, trying not to remember their words. their tone seemed annoyed when they dragged you inside the bathroom…it scared you for some reason.
“ah, found you.”
the sudden voice that came from the room startled your thoughts, and you jumped. as expected, the voice sounded familiar…soothing and deep—it was no doubt rei sakuma’s voice. you sighed upon seeing his arrival, “sakuma-senpai, you’re not heading home, yet?”
“hm? of course, after all i still had a small club practice with the kids and our puppy. also i wanted to see how you were doing after our little miss left a lot of work on your hands..” he replies, calmly. you frowned a little, “anzu didn’t left me that much work so it’s alright. besides, she already did a lot.” when rei shrugs his shoulders, you knew that was a sign he agreed. as much as you hated to admit it, this man in front of you right now had been the one you were crushing on for a long time upon entering yumenosaki private academy. and as much as you didn’t like to say it, he was your upperclassmen. just a year older than you. crushes who were a year away of age often scare you for some reason you couldn’t find clearly.
rei watches your figure while cleaning your stuff up inside of your school bag, and you dared not to look back at him—or else he would’ve been taking a gaze at your red expression. god, why was he still staring? can he stop? it’s distracting you big time. you paused from tidying your items, “sakuma-senpai, why are you still here?”
“hm? ah, yes about that,” rei sits down beside you, a grin slipped on his face. didn’t look like a face that plans malicious intent, just a soft expression. “i’m here to walk you home. i wanna walk with you back, little—
“uhm…”
rei was surprised when you cut him off so suddenly. the way you scrunched your face together in discomfort, clutching your knees together as you looked away—your eyes glistening to the reflected sunlight. “i’m sorry…” you spoke, “…but is it ok if you…stop calling me that?” rei was a bit taken back. you waved your hands in front of him, a little panicked of how he looked a bit perplexed of what you had said. “a-ah..! i didn’t mean to sound rude, i’m sorry..!”
“no, no, it’s fine…i think i should be the one apologizing. i’ve been calling you that nickname for a long time now—i never realized that it made you, uncomfortable. please forgive me, y/n…” he called you by your name…you weren’t sure if you would feel appreciated or be more in love with him than before. you shook your head, “n-no, don’t be…i just didn’t say sooner so uhh…”
the wind that bristles through your hair and right from the opened window panel shows of how lovely you looked in front of the undead leader. he smiles.
“sakuma-senpai…can i tell you something..?”
“go on.”
you took a deep breath before speaking once again. “there’s been…this feeling in me for a long time that i can’t quite explain…uhh..” you stammered a bit on your breath, but rei still lets you continue. “…i don’t know how to say nor how to explain in…but, i’ve been questioned a lot by my close friends or relatives…‘hey, y/n! you’ve been acting like this recently so we wanna ask, what are you? a girl or a boy?’ and…i-it just confuses me a little from time to time…” you were fiddling with your fingers as you explained.
“to be honest, sakuma-senpai…i don’t know what i am either…that was before of course but…when somebody calls me either; miss, sir…i just don’t know how to react…it bothers me a bit. but then…one time, i looked myself into the mirror and asked myself…am i a girl or a boy?” rei listened more intently, eyes locking to your eyes who were a little watery. he wanted to hug you at the moment, though you were still talking and he knew he couldn’t just stop you there. “when i looked into the mirror, i found out i knew the answer…” you looked at him with a smile.
rei smiles back, “kuku, is that so?” he was curious of what you thought, after all—he never knew you had problems like this regarding of your gender identity. a chuckle escalates out of your mouth, “i just realized i’m not a girl nor am i a boy. i’m just…me. i’m y/n.”
rei stayed silent. you twirled some of your short hairs around your finger a bit…feeling a little shy. “and uhh…the thing about genders, i really don’t get it. i don’t wanna be either of them i wanna just be myself. i wanna be the y/n you all rely on and the producer who helps anzu out and let her avoid to overwork…” you laughed a bit at that. and with a sigh, your eyes locked on rei’s. “i will always be y/n. and that’s who i always will be. sakuma-senpai…i think i don’t have a gender at all…”
“i’m proud of you.”
you stopped your sentence upon hearing those words. looking up, rei was already smiling over at you, face looking just like he said. proud. “i’m happy that you finally found yourself. unlike me who’s lost in this world of humans, you managed to find your way towards your heart of who you truly are. i am very proud of your actions, my lovely producer.” ah, a new nickname. your heart just skipped a beat. “although, if you’re still afraid of what the others might think, ignore them. they have no idea of how that shakes your heart with joy. after all, humans are very sensitive. though you are you, you will always be y/n. our very…alluring producer…” he slowly took your hand on his palm, and the worlds suddenly slows down.
“you know, i’m happy we have someone as reliable as you in our unit. the little miss seemed to be always in a hurry to organize everything in each idol unit, but now that you’re here to lend a hand to her just brings a smile to my face..” rei says, and you smiled. “i’m glad that i’m a big help to you guys…” his grip to your hands tightened.
there was a few moments of silence between your atmosphere, and rei immediately cuts it off. “now, that you’re done cleaning, shall we go? i still wanna walk with you and fetch you home.”
you scoffed, “alright, old man, hold on let me see if everything’s in here now..”
“i gave you so many beautiful nicknames and the new one you gave me is old man? i am deeply hurt, producer..” he was acting dramatic again.
yet it doesn’t bother you. that’s what you loved about him after all.

Sometimes, the Best Laid Plans Work Out Just Fine
Hokuto Hidaka x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: A notebook full of planning, and all the date going well relies on is the weather being right. Oh, and Keito not catching him sneaking out of the dorm at 11pm. Hokuto really knows how to keep things exciting.
A/N: Remember how I said I wasn’t up to full writing? My brain likes to do this wonderful thing where it makes me a liar, so uhhh. Hi!! I was thinking about how some popular tropes are popular because they’re good and I got the idea to write my take on one of my favourites- so here we go! This is inspired by a video I saw like 2 years ago and cannot for the life of me find. EDIT: for some reason this god awful website added multiple extra spaces between a bunch of words and deleted several words so? sorry abt that. fixed it now.
Word Count: 1.4k
Tumblr media
Sneaking you out past curfew might not have been his best laid plan- it was a bolder move than he should really pull, and at the very least sure to get him on the receiving end of a very long Keito lecture- but for the chance to show you something magical, Hokuto was willing to take the risks. After all, you made everything seem worth it to him. Hajime's light breathing and the fans of his laptop were the only sounds in the room as he double checked both time and weather forecast once more, shutting down the machine and sneaking out of the room. He was extra careful to shut the door quietly, as not to wake his roommate up. At least Keito was working late as usual. He didn't want to be stopped before he began.
The cold tingle that hit him as he stepped outside sent a shiver right through him and he huffed, stuffing his hands into his coat pockets- but behind his scarf there was the hint of a smile. The chill and the light mist that lingered in the air and cast a white haze over everything the street lamps illuminated were both telltale signs of winter, and he was counting on the weather that usually followed to make tonight perfect. It had to be perfect. Week after week of planning and distraction and discussion had gone into this surprise. He'd zoned out thinking of it so many times that even Akehoshi had noticed something was up with him. A whole notebook was dedicated to the idea, from writing out the plot of the dream that had inspired it to finding a date he was sure he could make it work, and a place to actually do it. It was the most elaborate date he'd ever planned, and you had absolutely no idea it was coming.
Not a single light was on in your house, and Hokuto crossed his fingers with the hope that you'd still be awake. He'd never exactly climbed up to your window before, but he'd spent enough time with the rest of his unit- and various others- that climbing buildings had somehow become something he was fairly good at. There's a reason he doesn't try to think about his time at Yumenosaki in too much detail. With luck, it only takes you a moment to open your window after he knocks, a large can of deodorant in hand to presumably whack him with if he's dangerous. He tries not to laugh. He really does.
"Kuto??? It's like 11pm, what on earth are you doing here?" You half whisper and half hiss, clamping a hand over his mouth to silence his laughter. If your parents find your boyfriend on your windowsill in the middle of the night it's not gonna go down too well. "Get dressed," he's smiling so beautifully, face half illuminated in the dim light of the waxing moon, that you almost forget to question him, "we have a date." "Um, I have a curfew, and it ended an hour ago." "We can sneak out. Just this once, I promise it's worth it." "It can't wait until morning?" "It won't be half as beautiful in the morning, koibito." You've never seen him this close to pleading, and that nickname always gets you. You sigh. You never could say no to him. Not really. "Turn around, then." Hokuto stares at you quizzically, and you wave a sweater at him to indicate your desire to get dressed. He quickly obeys, grinning. Five minutes and 3 sweaters later- ’I can't go downstairs to get my coat, tenshi, they'll hear me. Leave me and my 3 sweaters alone’ -  the two of you are turning the corner of your street, and you're staring at him suspiciously.
"You know, if you wanted to murder me you could have done it at home?" "I'm not murdering you, idiot." "Oh, I see, when you want me to come with you, I'm sweetheart, but then when I agree to, I'm idiot?" "Exactly." There's that grin again, the one that could convince you to jump in a freezing lake without question- you're suddenly scared he's going to try that- and you're rolling your eyes and giggling. "All right, if you're not murdering me, where are we goi-" His hand on your shoulder stops you both mid-step and sentence, and he turns you around to face the docks you were about to walk past. "The docks??" "Yes." "It's-" "About 10 minutes before our boat leaves. Right on time, if you ask me." "Our what?" "Boat." "I repeat. Our what?" "Oh, just come with me." In another moment, he's tangling your ungloved fingers with his gloved ones, and the fleece dragging across your skin feels like fire when your nerves are so on edge from the cold. "Babe my hands hurt, could you loosen up?" "Oh no, I forgot." Hokuto groans. Suddenly, he drops your hand and passes you a pair of gloves from the inside pocket of his jacket, warm from their proximity to his body and double lined. You could cry from the relief they provide, and from how thoughtful he can be- even if he did forget about them. But as you board the boat behind him, the confusion settles back over you.
"So, where are we going?" "We aren't going anywhere." A beat. A glare. No response. "Where is the boat going." "Nowhere.... Out a little. Then back." "What's the point in that." "You'll see. Come, I want you to get a good view." The two of you find a spot on the deck just as the boat departs, and you lean against the railings with him. 5 minutes out, you realise just how peaceful it all is. "Is this what you brought me here for? The peace?" "Not quite." He murmurs, looking up at the sky. "Give it just a moment." As he takes a step closer to you, his hand linking with yours once more, snow begins to fall around you.
It's breathtaking. The way it falls, completely surrounding you, reflecting so beautifully off the still surface of the water. All you can hear is the gentle purring of the boats motor and the calm waves, and all you can see ahead of you is snow. You stand there, staring up at it, your jaw hung open slightly in silent wonder. And he stands there, staring at you- taking it all in. The way your eyes shine with awe, the slight upturn in the corners of your mouth, the way you fight to find something to say only to change your mind and decide to leave the moment silent for just a little longer. The way you repeat that motion three or four times.
"It's... it's gorgeous." You whisper eventually, as soft as you possibly can. "Yeah." He replies, just as softly. "Yeah, it is." You don't notice that you're talking about completely different things, that he's captivated not by the snow, but by you. A snowflake lands on your nose, and you scrunch it up at the cold sensation- an action he finds so adorable he can't help but laugh. "What?" He doesn't actually answer your question, instead catching your chin in his hand. With the free one he brushes what is now a droplet of water off the top of your nose, and then he’s kissing you.
As first kisses go, it's pretty good. His lips are cold, but so are yours. That comes of standing in the snow at nearly midnight, naturally. And while your back pressed against the railing of the boat doesn't make you feel particularly safe, you don't even realise that until you run it over in your head later. All in all, it's kind of romantic as hell, and something about that plus the cold and the late hour almost makes you cry. Almost.
"I love you." He whispers as he pulls back, hand falling away from your chin. "Oh..." You dip your head a little, avoiding his gaze for a moment. "I-I love you too." The both of you fall silent again, grinning, and you go back to watching the snow. If his cheeks are red, he's sure it's just because of the cold.
He gives you his coat when you start to shiver, ignoring your insistence that your 3 sweaters are more than enough. He reads you awfully well. Unfortunately for him, the cold his chivalrous gesture left him with does nothing to spare him the 3 hour lecture Keito had prepared about getting back to the dorm past 1am. For you, though? Well, he'd say it was definitely worth it.

Ensemble Stars Event Translation: Various Crossroads “Crowd” Part 4
I promised to get this up today but ofc I (A) Forgot and (B) It was so damn hot today I barely had energy to get on my laptop but it’s 11pm now which means (A) I can still keep my word and (B) It’s not blazing steamy hot!!
Special thanks to @healingbonds on Twitter for helping proofread! We teamed up on this project to get the last chapters out so the next chapters all the way to the end are translated by them! I encourage you to send them a message on Twitter thanking them for their hard work because otherwise this story would’ve been completed in 2020.
Adonis and Souma make their way to the DEADMANZ Live and manage to see Keito singing in his beautiful voice (stan Keito 2019). I happened to overhear this while receiving lessons, so it piqued my interest.
If possible, I want to see it and use it as a reference in the future. I must improve myself as a proper idol.
Souma: I am of the same mind, Adonisu-dono. While I feel uneasy due to being unfamiliar with this sort of thing, being able to experience different cultures can serve as a quality stimulus.
Adonis: Fufu. I’m sorry for making you come along with me, Kanzaki.
On top of guiding me here you also gave me your autograph... No matter how much I thank you, it wouldn’t be enough.

Kaoru: Oh, now that you mention it, I do think I’ve seen you around before. If I remember correctly you’re a member of “Ryuuseitai”...
You guys seem to lack proper manners, so watch yourself, okay? Make sure you tell your other members, too.
If you keep acting unreasonably, you’ll end up being banned from the venue.
Chiaki: Urgh... I’m sorry, I’ll be sure to tell them. I don’t think they’ll actually listen to me, though.
Kaoru: Oh? Well, it’s none of my concern. You should at least enjoy yourself since you’ve spent some money. Want something to drink?
I recommend some watered-down orange juice ♪
Chiaki: Do you work at this underground Live House, Hakaze? I don’t really know your personal business, but are you in need of money? You sure have it rough…
Alright, I’ll order a ton of drinks!
Kaoru: Um, I somehow feel as if the conversation’s gone off-point, or that we’re not exactly meeting in the middle…
Morisawa-kun gives off the impression of being a serious and good kid~. Why are you associated with “Ryuuseitai” when they have such a bad reputation?
Chiaki: Regardless of how they are now, they’re a group that positions themselves as allies of justice…
I want to reform it from the inside so that we can be reborn into the ideal group that we publicize ourselves to be.
Unfortunately, it seems that sparking change is rather difficult to do.

“The Two Sides of Me” Chapter 2: I Didn’t See Her Today
Tumblr media
[note: jus a heads up this chapter is shit but please read the next chapter bc it’s :)))))))i like it)))))]
Chapters: [1]
My eyes slowly opened to see light seeping into my room through the curtains. I stretched and stretched and grabbed my phone from the side table afterwards. First thing I do? Of course I’d check her social media. It was 10am so it was obvious that she had woken up. My heart started to beat wild when she tweeted a few things about an hour ago. Thankfully, most of them were in Japanese. She tweeted things like “Off to work! Fighting!!”, “My neighbor’s dog keeps barking and my neighbor himself keeps shouting. honestly i don’t even know where to start.” and I giggled at the tweet “Work is exhausting and painful but I love it. Am I a masochist??”. I loved how genuine she was online.
But one tweet got me excited the most.
“Hey guys! @.tsutsutsutomu and I are having an online live show again tonight at 8pm!! This time it’s Japanese so watch out, Japanese supporters!!”
I made it a mental note for myself to not freak out when I watch her since I was just so excited to see her, to listen to her, to learn more about her, and so much more.
I just wanted to know her.
That night, I grabbed a “healthy” bag chips and lounged on my couch, laying the laptop down on my lap. It’s my cheat day, okay. I checked her social media and she just tweeted that she’d just come home and that the live show would start in a few minutes. I started to get pumped up for it and giggling to myself.
And then the live show started, and hell broke loose in me.
“Good evening everyone!”, she smiled to the camera with Tsutomu following up the greeting. They were both laying down on the bed on their chests with pillows propping them up. “Ohh people are flooding in, aren’t they?”, her eyes widen to the corner of her screen and I saw that the view count went up to tens then hundreds quickly. “So basically we’re here so that you guys get to know our private lives you know, the story behind the voice.”, Tsutomu explained and Yuuga giggled, “That sounds so dramatic.”. “Okay so you can start asking questions in the comments now” he smiled. Questions started to move in the comment section slowly and she giggled at how many there were.
“@.adachihachi asked, where do you work?”, Tsutomu said the question aloud, “Well I work at a recording studio but I can’t say where of course.”, he replied. “Uhmm... Unlike Tsutomu, my job isn’t related to music at all.” she laughed, “I’m an assistant in a rehab center here.”. Damn if I go crazy in love, I would go straight to her. Time passed by and I learned so many things about them and their story. They were both turning 23, they both weren’t from Japan and they were both single. THANK GOD. Although even with all those questions answering my own curiosities, there was still one question they haven’t been answering. So I finally built up the courage to use this private account to ask the question and typed it in.
@.mountainberry93: I heard Yuuga liked Yamada Ryosuke a lot. Why?
When the question popped up, her eyes grew wide a bit and I knew it was my question she was looking at because no one was really asking questions after mine. “@.mountainberry93 asked why I liked Yamada Ryosuke.”, she said my question aloud. “Oh no you triggered her. She’s gonna ramble again.”, Tsutomu covered his face and laughed.
“I’m not gonna ramble as much as I did in the last live show but...” She hung off her words. She talked about me in the last live show too?? whAT IS GOING ON WHY IS MY HEART BEATING SO FAST. “I personally just like how genuine he is with everything. I mean his looks are a 10/10 but his personality is a way better reason for me to love--”, she paused, “to like him.”, she corrected herself.
@.mountainberry93: Why didn’t you say love? You don’t love him?
“I do love him but I don’t want to say I have those kinds of emotions for someone who won’t ever love me back, you know. I’m just a fan and he’ll never know me.” she said. My emotions grew dark as I realized that she knew that we were both in two completely different worlds. That she believed that I wouldn’t love her because I don’t know her.
In the middle of the live-show, I suddenly realized something from her eyes. They seemed so familiar to me, like I’ve seen those particular eyes before. They had that twinkle, that exact glistening, the same creases, and the same pupils from that of my memory. But I just couldn’t put my finger on when I saw them.
The live show continued on for an hour and I kept learning more things about her. I found out that she and I have so much in common. We both love red, we both sleep facing the wall, we both are afraid of ghosts, and so so so much more. “We’ll be at an Izakaya next week Friday at 7pm, so come watch us!! Details will be on our joint twitter account!”, Tsutomu said. “Okay guys, it’s time to go, it’s getting late. See you guys later!!” they both smiled and waved goodbye to the camera.
Thus the end of my one hour of happiness.
And then the start of a night full of butterflies in my stomach.
I giggled and jumped around my apartment like a little fan boy who just got to see his favorite idol on stage. “I’m going to see her again. I’m going to see her again. I’M GOING TO SEE HER AGAIN.” I chanted to myself which sent more jitters down my body.
Friday came like a breeze and I was preparing myself to go to the bar. I had brought clothes with me to work so I could just change there and I had to make sure she wouldn’t notice me, I just wanted to see her. Oh my god, I sound like a stalker. But I just wanted to hear her sing and soothe my ears. I want her music to take me to another dimension like she did last time.
Just then, my manager barged into the lounge room and gathered all 9 of us. We were all curious as to why he was doing so and a bit irritated since it was the end of work and we were all eager to go home. “I’m taking you all shopping. You’re paying for the clothes though. But I’m just helping you pick.” he briefly said. “Why what’s happening?”, Yaotome asked. “Tomorrow night is Johnny’s 55th anniversary, did you guys forget??”, he gasped.
Honestly. Yeah we did.
“Anyway, Kitagawa-san is throwing a huge party tomorrow night so we have to look good. It’s only once in a while that he’d do so.” he said. We all nodded and I hesitantly went along. I wanted to go to see Yuuga but I couldn’t. This is work. This is more important... I guess.
We searched around the city, went into what felt like a thousand different shops and finally picked out suits for us. Mine was a red velvet kind of suit with some black satin lapel. The other 8 told me I looked hella good and Chinen also commented, “Damn it, he looks good again.” and we all laughed. All was good and we were all having fun but I still had one piece of regret in the back of my head.
I didn’t watch her performance.
I thought to myself that it’s okay because she’ll probably have a live show again tomorrow although I’m guessing it’s in english since they alternate the language every week. I’ll just have to invite Keito home for dinner. But when I just got home, she just tweeted that she won’t be having a live show tomorrow because she’ll be busy with work. But it’s a saturday?? What the fuck kind of shit is that?
I rolled my eyes and laid flat on my bed, sprawling out my legs and arms. I felt so cold inside, no butterflies in my stomach, nothing to keep my heart beating wild. I already binge watched all their covers last night and yet I still wanted to see her. It was a whole 24 hours of me not seeing her and
I just felt empty inside.

Hey, I really liked your Keito x Kuro headcanons a while back! Can you maybe do a scenario of them? If you need a prompt, maybe a love confession? Thanks!
uvu im more than happy to do so!!!! i hope you like this scenario and thank you sm for your suppport ahhhhh
Keito doesn’t need to look at the clock to know that it’s late. The sun has long set and left the sky dyed all shades of darkness, but he still has to finish typing up the proposal for Akatsuki’s next live due that night. Normally he wouldn’t be one to procrastinate, but it just so happened that a new idea had popped up, and the three had decided to tweak several points of the live.
It’s just him and the rapid tap-tap-tapping on his laptop, and as much as being alone in his beloved school is peaceful, it, too, is lonely.  Keito scrolls down the document and the next page boldly proclaims the designs of the costumes for the live. As usual, Akatsuki’s kept to their traditional theme, but this time the outfits are sleeveless at Kuro’s request.
Kuro…the thought of being able to see all of Kuro’s toned arms beyond the long folds of their usual yukata tickles Keito a little - as embarrassing as is to admit - and pushes him on.
There is a knock at the door, startling Keito a bit. “Come in.”
Speak of the devil, it’s Kuro himself. He’s discarded his blazer from his practice, and strides in with clinking china.
  "Kiryu-kun, you’re still here?“
"Yeah,” says Kuro. He plunks the tiny teacup in front of Keito, cheeks burning a little.
  Keito peers over. “And this?”
"Tea.“ Kuro seems to choke out the word. “You’ve been working hard, so I thought you’d want some.”
Keito is touched. “Thank you.” He picks up the teacup, blowing at it a little. He smells the fragrant aroma and smiles, then takes a sip.
"Oh,“ he goes, setting the teacup down again, "it’s very nice and rich. Did you make this yourself, Kiryu-kun?”
"‘Course not. The Shino kid was still around, so I requested a cup for you, and he was more than happy to oblige.“
"Shino is still around, huh,” muses Keito. He reaches for the cup again, the taste of flowers still in full bloom in his mouth. “Ra*bits is working hard, we must not fall back either.”
Kuro scratches the back of his neck. “Yeah well, Boss Hasumi should rely on me more, instead of setting the full weight of Akatsuki’s success on his shoulders.”
Keito could almost laugh; he’s heard himself as Boss Hasumi for a long time. Three years in the same school, months in the same unit, and yet this unspeakable distance between them, a distance he’ll never close, he presumes. Kuro can call him ‘Boss Hasumi’, 'Boss Hasumi’ again and again, but - it’s too cheesy to even think it but! - Kuro is, in actuality, the boss of his heart.
  "B-boss Hasumi?“
The irritation and stress is swept away by the sweetness that boils in his stomach, and he says, "I’m very lucky to have you, Kiryu-kun.”
"Haha. I’m lucky to have you too, Hasumi.“
Keito swears to god there is some devil in the tea Hajime brewed, for hearing those little words from Kuro seemed to brew obscure fondness within him. The cup is set down.
"Well, I could definitely be luckier.”
He regrets the words the second he says it, but a second is too late. Kuro is right in his face, eyebrows locked and he smells so, so good. “Luckier?” he asks, confused. “Is there something bothering you?”
  "You’re bothering me right now.“
"Sorry, sorry.” Kuro moves away, and folds his arms. “So?”
"Forget it, Kiryu-kun, that was a slip of the tongue.“
"It’s not. Is there anything I can do - anything?”
"Tch,“ Keito goes. "No, there isn’t.”
"Really?“ Kuro is back at his face, so close again it’s intoxicating. "Is there nothing I can do?”
That’s just as far Keito can take. He grabs Kuro’s tie, pulling him over to hiss, “Kiss me then, if you’re so desperate.”
Keito lets go and closes his eyes. Kuro obliges.
