Background/History

Dorian Krei got a job as a Chemistry professor at Tohoku University after graduating from Ilvermorny. He was interested in alchemy but wanted more knowledge so he decided to get a Muggle job and education. Living in Japan he eventually met Ume Nakai and after a few years they got married and had Jomei. Ume was the Japanese equivalent of a Hit Witch. Her job was dangerous and their family was usually at risk from vengeful dark wizards. They decided it was best to not have any more kids. However, 10 years later they accidentally had Mariko.

Disaster struck when Mariko was 6. In the middle of the night a Dark Wizard that Ume had arrested broke out of prison and into their house. He tried to kill the family but Ume and Jomei fought him off, being forced to kill him in front of Mariko and Dorian. Afraid it would happen again, Ume tells Dorian to take Mariko and move away to protect them as Dorian isn’t a fighter and Mariko is too young. Jomei refuses to leave his mom all alone and decides to become a Hit Wizard as he had just graduated from Mahoutokoro and was a very good fighter.

Mariko was too young to understand and was very upset when told she had to leave with her dad so Ume obliviated her memories of herself and her brother. Dorian was against this and tried to argue but Ume said it would help protect her. Dorian moved back to his hometown San Francisco and transferred to the University there. He raised his daughter as if her mom had died when she was a baby. He despised lying to her but knew she was happy and healthy. Before Mariko turned 11, Dorian got a job offer at Cambridge and they moved to England. Mariko started school at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991, the same year as Harry Potter.

Tsukkishima, Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Sugawara’s Reacting to Their S/O Cheering Them On

@nikki--han requested: so so, can you make headcanons for Tsukki, Tanaka, Noya and Suga when their s/o cheering them during a match?

A/N: First official request! Hello everyone! Rules, about me, and (possible) masterlist will be posted shortly! I really went ham on this I wanted to go real big to start everything off. Requests are currently open so please feel free to send one in (please remember that this post is an exception and that requests can only have a max of three characters)

Tsukkishima Kei:

-He’s honestly really caught off guard by it?? He’d expect something like this from his brother maybe, but you? One of the things he likes about you is that you’re relatively quiet, but hearing you call out his name in the stands with his brother makes his heart swell more than he’d like to admit

-He quickly looks away and feigns annoyance when in reality he’s just super flustered. Yamaguchi knows exactly how he’s feeling and because he’s your local Tsukki expert and Sugawara knows because he’s that much of a little shit

-Tanaka and Noya hear you calling out for Tsukki and when they see that his face looks slightly annoyed it pisses them off, but when Yams tells them it’s because he’s flustered and embarrassed they don’t stfu. Tsukki doesn’t even have it in him to say his usual “shut up Yamaguchi” because he’s right and he knows that if they see his blush it’ll only add more fuel to the flame

-He does his best to carry on like usual but his teammates quickly notice that he’s actually putting in more effort than usual? It’s really off-putting but when they put two and two together that it’s because of you they all low key go soft because awww Tsukki is being a soft boyfie!

-Hinata doesn’t know how to stfu either and makes a direct statement abt this “Hey Tsukishima! You’re playing a lot better today! … Is it because Y/N’s here?”

-Tsukkishima gives him a hella death glare for this and Hinata cowers in fear because he doesn’t understand why he got him so angry. He was just pointing out the obvious Tsukki, don’t be a meanie!

-After Karasuno takes the win he meets up with you and Akiteru. He acts like he’s annoyed at you two but when Akiteru sees the way he’s looking at you he leaves you alone. The rest of Karasuno can see it too and as much as Noya and Tanaka want to stick around for the tea, they’re dragged away by Ennoshita who tells them to mind their business

-Unrelated, but Kiyoko is also especially entertained by all of this and gives a giggle and a knowing look to Tsukki as he makes his way to you (much to his embarrassment)

-When you two are alone you’re looking up at him questioningly. “Tsukki? Are you okay? Did I do something wrong by coming here? I’m sorry I just wanted to-“

-He’s hugging you. He’s hugging you so freaking tight and hiding his face in your shoulder because he can’t fathom how absolutely in love he is with you right now. He’s embarrassed and happy and angry because his heart is beating fast and he doesn’t get it and

-He forgets all of that when you hug him back. You two step just a little closer to each other and when he’s ready he’s gives a soft little kiss to your cheek and quietly whispers a “thank you” in your ear

Tanaka Ryuunosuke:

-Mans sees you and he. Is. HYPED! They’re doing their whole “walk dramatically to the court to assert dominance” thing and he’s all focused and has his gangsta face on but the moment he hears your beautiful voice shout “Tanaka(-senpai)!!!” He’s done for.

-He sees you and suddenly his gangsta face is now a puppy-that’s-desperate-for-attention face and he wants to cry on the spot he loves you so much?? You’re even out there with his sister and both of you have Pom poms and stuff and maybe even color coordinated your outfits to match w Karasuno’s colors and he is on cloud 9 you look so freakin cute!! (And he’s gotta have a pic of you in that outfit)

-Immediately grabs Noya (who’s also doing an Angry™ face) by the shoulder and stops him just so that they can admire the two of you together. Noya is obv your bestie and he absolutely loves seeing you and his other bestie happy and he really likes the outfits you're wearing! They’re crying happy tears and Tanaka’s going “I’m so lucky man” and Noya’s agreeing saying “We both are” because who gave you the right to be so gosh darn cute

-You notice Noya and wave to him too, which gives him happy tears as he’s waving back to you and Tanaka’s blowing you kisses and at this point everybody in Karasuno is looking at them in disgust because they’re so weird but they also think you’re cute and appreciate you being here to cheer them all on, especially since you’ve been so supportive even before they made it this far, offering to get snacks and even find ways to increase the budget.

-Eventually though they have to start the game and Daichi begrudgingly starts dragging them “Cmon you two, you can talk to Y/N later after we take our victory” Noya and Tanaka immediately snap out of it because as much as they both love you, you and them both know that the game is what takes top priority right now. Tanaka looks up at you in the stands and shouts “I’ll talk to you after the game, ok Babe! This victory’s gonna be for you!” And he blows one more kiss to you before resuming his walk to the court, now 10x more confident

-needless to say he is on F I R E the entire time, absolutely destroying the opposing team and doing so knowingly, giving an evil smirk every time he blocks or spikes a really nasty kill. At this point the other team is absolutely pissed off with how cocky he looks (some even knowing about his whole encounter with you in the stands getting jealous; “the only reason why he’s good is because his s/o’s here”)

-Ukai and Takeda are especially pleased with him and everyone on the team knows that this sudden boost in morale and confidence is thanks to you. They also notice that Tanaka’s actually quieter now, focused on the game and on listening to what his teammates have to say when they’re discussing strategy off the court.

-Now even though Tanaka’s an amazing player, he’s human and he makes mistakes sometimes. But knowing that you’re up there pisses him off even more but when he feels himself getting really stressed, it’s Kiyoko who says to him “Tanaka, you’re getting carried away. Remember, Y/N’s cheering for you. Would they really wanna see you lose your cool like this?” Everybody’s so surprised because A)Kiyoko’s saying words and B)Shes being nice to Tanaka??? But Tanaka appreciates it and they share an agreeing nod that this is something he can easily make up for. He goes back into the game and everybody’s telling him not to mind and just to carry on

-And carry on they do, all the way to fucking victory. They’re all exhausted and ready to just go out and eat and sleep but when Tanaka sees you waiting for him outside the doors he immediately runs to you and picks you up (regardless of whether or not you’re taller/shorter than him) and is peppering you with kisses, not caring who sees or gags (*cough*Tsukki*cough*) and you’re congratulating him and the team (who all thank you)

-side note: even though you give Noya plenty of attention too, the attention of your bestie still isn’t quite the same as the attention of a partner. Both Kiyoko and Yachi notice this, Kiyoko giving him a good pat on the back and a “well done” and Yachi giving him a high five and a hug. It’s still not quite the same but he relishes in it anyway because girls ((this is me vicariously living through Kiyoko and Yachi bc I too want to smother Noya in hugs))

-After eating out and celebrating and finally getting home (your parents allowing you to stay with Tanaka so long as Saeko sticks around to make sure no funny business is going on) Tanaka and you are cuddling on the couch, still pressing soft kisses to one another as he also pats your head telling you how much he loves you: “Thank you for coming Y/N, you really make me feel like the luckiest guy in the world”

Nishinoya Yuu:

-Another hyped boy!! Holy shit he loves you so much that he’s bouncing up and down on the closest person (which just so happens to be Asahi, who is terrified right now because he’s being shaken like a rattle) and pointing at you aggressively while also waving “GUYS GUYS GUYS OMG ITS Y/N GUYS ITS Y/N HI BABY!!!”

-Hinata sees this and probably says something like “Wow!! Noya-San’s s/o came to support him! That’s so cool” to which Noya absolutely just basks in because hell yeah he’s the cool guy of the group that got an s/o before everybody else. Tsukki gives an annoyed groan and Tanaka’s hyping his buddy up while also giving a wave to you. Asahi wants to wave too but is too squeamish from how much Noya’s shaking him. Suga has to get him off of him because no. The only person allowed to emotionally and physically scar Asahi is him (re: literally every time Suga hits Asahi as motivation)

-He’s jumping up and down in front of the crowd, not caring who sees or hears him as he shouts to you “This win’s gonna be for you baby!!” You laugh and reassure him that he’s gonna do great and that you’ll see him after the game, but you know that look on Daichi’s face and quickly advise Noya to go back before Daichi sends him to an early grave.

-He gives a pout and goes back but not before flashing you one more big grin that absolutely melts your heart. Tanaka’s giving him a pat on the back, assuring him that they’re gonna win this and he’ll be able to smooch your beautiful face the moment they get off the court. Noya’s extra pumped now and the whole team is ready to take home the win

-Cheering Noya on not only inflates his ego but apparently it boosts his speed as he’s receiving balls left and right, not even giving the opponents a chance to score a point. He can receive even the nastiest spikes and he’s loving the way his arms are burning (he makes a note to show them off to you later, almost as if they’re battle scars he got while fighting heroically. Ofc you reassure him as such when you’re praising him later)

-During timeouts or anytime he’s out of the court and just resting on the bench getting his thoughts together he’s also looking at you. You both give each other encouraging looks and when you make a little heart at him with your hands, he’s blushing extra hard and he’s thinking his heart is going to jump right out of his chest. He’s grabbing the nearest person (Probably Narita or Kinoshita, poor bbys) and clutching his heart while saying “My Y/N is so freaking cute look at how cute they are oh my god-“ “Yup, mhm, absolutely adorable Noya now please let go of me-“

-At one point he does rolling thunder (yes, and he says it out loud while doing it) and for a hot second everything goes kinda silent because why tf did he say that out loud that’s so stupid- but to you that just makes him extra cool as you’re cheering him on in the stands shouting “YEAH!! GO ROLLING THUNDER!!!” Noya has selective hearing and only hears you praising him so his ego is inflated even further

-When Karasuno inevitably wins thanks to everyone’s hard work, but especially Noya’s incredible receives and the Kghn quick attack, everyone is cheering and laughing and when Noya and Tanaka do a really sweet chest bump, Noya’s immediately looking up to you in the stands going “See! Told you I’d win for you!” You give a soft smile and laugh quietly as you get up to go down and congratulate the rest of the team

-Noya jumps on you the moment he sees you, smothering you in kisses and love and while he is cute it’s also low key gross because he is sweating really really bad and he’s getting it all over your clothes. You know if you push him off though, he’ll be pouty and upset so you let him do it anyway because what’s one happy boyfriend compared to some slightly sweaty clothes?

-Even though everybody is really tired and exhausted Noya somehow isn’t? Or at least it’s not showing as he’s happily stuffing his face and going on and on to you how amazing he felt while playing today, pulling a Hinata and giving weird sound effects while he’s eating (“mmfmmfandWOOSH-“) literally nobody can understand him but because he’s your boyfriend and you’re a certified Nishinoya Professional™ you understand him perfectly and eagerly add on (at this point nobody’s surprised because they all know how whipped you two are).

-The moment he gets home though he is OUT and immediately falls asleep as soon as you two are cuddling on his bed. As you’re stroking his hair and he’s slowly drifting further into unconsciousness in your arms he whispers to you before completely going out “I love you Y/N, thank you for cheering me on”

Sugawara Koushi:

-Now one might think that because he’s one of the more “mature” ones of the group he’d be more calm and collected right? WRONG, mans is absolutely freaking out. You all saw the way he was when Kiyoko held his hands, how do you think he’d react to his beautiful s/o calling his name in the stands? He’s absolutely going to be flustered as hell

-He’s so happy and he feels so grateful that you’re here to cheer him on and he needs Daichi and Asahi to hold him for a quick sec because he’s just so happy that you’re there. Asahi and Daichi are high key making fun of him but Sugawara doesn’t give a shit and knows it’s just bc they’re jealous they don’t have an s/o yet (totally that and not because he looks like a tomato, yep absolutely)

-You give your hellos to Asahi, Daichi, and Kiyoko too and they all promise that he’ll be fine and will definitely have his time to shine today. Even though you don’t mind whether or not he actually gets to play, you nod and continue to cheer them on.

-When Ukai actually subs him in Suga is on fire, utilizing the signals to the max and scoring so many points for the team. He even does a few setter dumps! He can’t quite put his finger on it but he feels especially in shape today and like he can take anything on. He definitely has you to thank for that.

-He actually stays in the game from then on nearly all the way to the end of the match, only being subbed out for Hinata when Ukai wanted to use his and Kageyama’s quick attack. It’s only when he finally reaches the sidelines does it dawn on him that oh shit he’s going to pass out- his energy today has been fueled x10 and when he finally gets to calm down and focus on himself, he’s gasping for water and dripping in sweat. He looks up to you and you’re concerned face because you see how absolutely wrecked he looks but he gives you a cute smile to reassure you that he’s completely fine and even blows you a kiss and mouths an “I love you”- shit you’re so soft for him (even when he’s a sweaty mess)

-Soon he’s out back out there and it’s a little concerning how easily he was able to go back into his Uber focused mode. Nonetheless it was especially useful, as he immediately pulled off a setter dump and got the team to match point. At this point you and Yachi are clinging to each other in the stands, anxious for the result of the game.

-Karasuno wins! And you’re all jumping in the air and the team is hyped and everybody’s happy and patting Sugawara on the back for being the absolute MVP of the day. He’s just so happy that he managed to be out there for so long, especially since it’s a game that you, his beautiful, wonderful s/o came to attend.

-He’s low key limping out of the doors because damn is he so freaking tired and almost collapses on you the moment you come in for a hug (doing so after he first cups your face and gives your forehead a kiss). You’re holding him by the waist and he has his arms wrapped around your shoulders as he’s giving you soft kisses to the neck and cheek and it’s all low key embarrassing and you’re blushing but also giggling because he’s cute and it tickles

-He’s absolutely clinging to you after the game, always with a hand on your waist/hip or maybe even on your ass (“Koushi not in public-“) but either way he can’t keep his hands off you and has to have his head on your shoulder as you’re all waiting for the food to come. Nobody except Daichi says anything because they all know that he’s absolutely dead at this point but Daichi’s teasing him for being so clingy (“wow, you really can’t keep it to yourself today can you?” “Shut it Daichi-“ “Koushi, be nice!”)

-He doesn’t even finish his food because he’s so sleepy, so you pack it up and Takeda offers to drive you two to Sugawara’s house, which you accept. He falls asleep in the car and you’re carrying him out by the shoulder when you get home (Takeda says he’ll help but you insist it’s fine). When you close the door behind you he gets up and lazily kabedons you against it. He lifts his head from your shoulder and gives a tender kiss to your lips, which you happily accept and cup his face for. When you two separate he’s giving a sleepy smile, his eyes lidded but still so very in love with you. One more kiss to your lips before he says “Thank you for being there for me”

[神なる君と] Osananajimi Duo - Yakumo

Second route of the game. #mfw ==== (ง•̀_•́)ง‼

-Takekiyo Yakumo-

Niiiiisssssaaaannnnnnn!!!

Yakumo is the other osananajimi of the trio. He is one year older than Sakuya and Narumi, and acts as the protective big brother - when they were young, some older kids took Sakuya’s *precious amulet*, and Yakumo went to get it back from them and got beaten up really badly. 

Sakuya later tells him that at that time he seemed like a ‘hero’ and she had always looked up to him. So I guess there’s like a love triangle (...love flowchart??) that goes: Narumi --> Sakuya --> Yakumo since the very beginning.

Also early on in the story, Yakumo tells Sakuya in a ‘simulation event’ that, even if he loved her, he would never confess and they can never be together, because it would end in tragedy. Pfffft whatever nii-san, that just means I will have to make the first move *evil laugh*. 

My feelings during his route went from hilarious, to sad, to finally disconcerting. He’s kind of a poor bastard and MIA in half of his own route. When I finally got the the two endings I wanted to throw my game console out of the window... (╯°□°)╯︵ ԀSԀ

Yes, exactly.

Aaanyway, there are two big revelations here:

1. Aki’s backstory: Kibi Aki is the 16-year-old spirit medium sent by the Ministry to spy on monitor Kunihoshi Shrine, because Mikoto forgot to send in his report (#justMikotothings). After Sakuya accidentally fucks up one of her assignments, it’s revealed that she actually comes from a renowned onmyouji family, and left home to train under the ministry at a young age in order to prove herself.

2. Kunugi’s backstory: Kunugi is the shape-shifting demon who stole the *magical seal* that protects the town, and Aki’s target of investigation. I didn’t expect to like him at first, but his tragic romance is pretty kewl I have to admit:

Kunugi was a douchebag since birth and terrorised the village so all the villagers hated him. One day, a girl named Yuki wandered into his territory. She was a grade A-level village idiot idiot, and after 3 days of trying and failing to find her way out, he gave her some food and water so she wouldn't die on his grounds. She was very grateful and started to get close to him. She also begged him to stop terrorising the village. Eventually she annoyed him enough that he agreed.

Then gradually, he began to help the villagers here and there, and even became friends with them. One day they wanted to thank him for his help. They gave him a small wooden box, and told him it was some kind of national treasure. Just then Yuki intercepted, and the box emitted some light beam that went into her body.

After that Yuki got progressively sicker and on the brink of death. Out of anger and confusion, he tried to destroy the box, but it's more sturdy/fireproof than an LV tote bag. Eventually she told him that the box contains a cursed rock (i.e. the remains of the Great Demon), and once every two hundred years the village has to offer a human sacrifice to prevent the curse from escaping and causing disaster. This time the villagers chose him, so she gave her life to save his...

Kind of hard to imagine how she fell in love with this (ahem *Aki*)... hopefully a few hundred years ago he took on a sexier appearance...

But I digress. Let’s get back to Yakumo XD. So his deal is basically that the Takekiyo bloodline has been chosen as the human sacrifice every 200 years. As a result, Yakumo is inflicted with a curse that puts him to sleep for longer and longer periods, until he eventually goes into a longggg sleep and never wakes up. This also explains his superhuman athletic abilities and sixth sense, because the Force be with him powers of the Great Demon live within him.

Early on in the common route, he occasionally says things like, ‘you must live on happily when I am gone’ and gives Sakuya a #sadface, like someone with a terminal illness. Eventually Sakuya finds out the truth from his parents, after which he couldn’t hide anymore, and starts to reveal all his fears and doubts, as well as his feelings for her.

As it turns out Yuzuru knows a way to break the curse, but it requires putting Yakumo into a coma for years, and there’s a good chance of death. Basically the supernatural equivalent of a high-risk medical operation I guess. He has until the hoshimatsuri to decide whether to take a gamble with this method, or let the curse continue slowly chipping away at his lifespan.

...Of course he chooses the former. You’d be an idiot not to.

1. Good End: It’s been 7 years (!), and he still hasn’t woken up from his coma. According to Yuzuru, 5 years is the ‘safety period���, and after that he’s as good as gone. Sakuya doesn’t give up, and **10 years later** (#tumbleweeds) he finally wakes up on hoshimatsuri night. They go on to have a baby who looks ridiculously like Yakumo ...and will probably be affected by the same curse...? Oh well let’s hope Yuzuru is still alive by then to do his thang.

2. Tragic End: Under Yuzuru’s advice, Sakuya gives up and lets him erase all her memories. Yakumo eventually wakes up after 10 years anyway, and it sucks for him because unlike in Narumi’s end, Yakumo still remembers everything and has to live with it for the rest of his life. Like I said, poor bastard...

Understatement of the year.

[Thoughts] Somehow this route felt shorter and less tearful than Narumi’s, maybe because I got used to the general setting and gameplay. Yakumo’s ema events feel like they came out of a shounen manga and had me in stitches the whole time. I can’t recall any other otome game that made me laugh this much (...except maybe 「私のレアルは充実している」).

What I like about this route is the added tension here compared to Narumi’s route: in Narumi’s case it’s pretty obvs that he has a crush on Sakuya. He said it himself that he’s never viewed Sakuya as a sister from the beginning. So on that front there’s no doubt from his side, his whole conflict revolves only around the ‘forbidden love’ aspect.

Whereas with Yakumo, when he shows hints of feelings towards Sakuya, they’re often ambiguous between the actions of an older brother towards a little sister vs. a love interest. That made it all the more exciting.

Also apart from the curse/risk of death and that stuff, Yakumo also had his ‘manly pride’ to reckon with - letting Sakuya see his weak side and realise that he’s not always her ‘hero’. It was pretty damn emotionally satisfying when he finally came clean about his secrets and started letting Sakuya into his world. Although, much of his later dialogue is pretty cliche tbh. I actually found his baka persona more interesting. But eh.

I guess it’s this pride of his that makes it necessary for Sakuya to be an adult here. Whenever his white lies or ‘fake cheerfulness’ made her angry, she had to learn/choose to coax things out of him gently instead of calling him out on it. Conversely I felt that with Narumi she was more direct, and had more leeway for wagamama.  

The Aki/Kunugi story arc was a high point of the route for me. Aki’s background helps to explain her personality in so many ways. I love her character growth and development here, as she eventually learns to accept help from other people, instead of trying do everything by herself. Ahh... her whole story strikes so many chords with me. I also love how she got her own grand love story here.

(Part of me is curious if the Aki-lookalike and Kunugi’s ‘true form’ will make an appearance later on. It’s a long shot, but let’s hope!)

This route also revealed a lot about Yuzuru, whom I’m liking more and more and whose story I’m really looking forward to... I thought I had more to say about him but nahhh. Asshole who’s a secret softie at heart <3.

deputy alice riley

Soooooooooo this is gonna be long, but it’s pretty much anything you could ever want to know about alice lol

her full name is Claire Alice Riley, though she pretty much only goes by Alice. Staci calls her Allie, and she haaates it.

She was born in Falls End on October 30th, 1992.

Her face claim is Anya Taylor-Joy, just shorter (5′) and with pink hair. She naturally has dark brown hair, though when her hair isn’t pink, she dyes it blonde.

Her childhood in Fall’s End was fairly average - her sister was annoying (Jane was the designated babysitter, and hated it), so was her brother (he loved frogs and spiders, she… didn’t; though she got him back by her loving snakes and him being terrified of them, which is still true), her parents were happily married. The car crash happened after a Girl Scout’s meeting (the troop disbanded not long after, but not because of the crash) that her dad picked her up from. She came out with a broken arm and a concussion, but that was it. She doesn’t really remember much from the few hours before or after the crash. A few years after, the Sheriff had Jane (who had custody at this point) send her and Caleb to California, where her aunt and uncle were her legal guardians. Her uncle is a chef for big events, so he had weird hours, but they were able to live comfortably and (to Alice’s amazement, Caleb’s disdain) to have passes to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. Her aunt works in the industry and travels a lot, but both of them tried to be home more for the first few weeks after the twins moved in. The twins were both involved with theatre, but Caleb is the one with the real acting talent - Alice thought about being a voice actor, but it’s more of a hobby for her than anything. 

Her family owns the Fall’s End Garage - she’s not the best at the mechanical side of running the shop, but she’s pretty good at running the business side of things. She wanted to ban peggies from the shop, but Jane wouldn’t let her.

Lives in the house behind the garage in Fall’s End - it was her parents, her sister kept it after she moved in with her then-boyfriend - she didn’t want to stay, but nobody was really looking to buy houses at that point, so she boarded it up for the twins. Jane joined after the house was “given” to Alice, so the house was fine. 

She misses LA like crazy, especially once winter hits. She loves having rainy days again, but ten years of no winter? Her dream.

Her brother, Caleb, thinks the testy festy is hilarious, and after everything is over, is so mad that he missed it. Alice doesn’t agree with him. At all.

She’s technically Catholic - she was baptised, went to her first communion, and then pretty much stopped going to church. She goes to Pastor Jerome’s masses for the comfort and traditions when she moves back, but she doesn’t really believe.

She loves being on the water. She prefers surfing and kayaking, but adapts to the lakes and rivers of Hope County quickly. She’s not a huge fan of fish, but she starts to like fishing at some point. She definitely prefers it to hunting, and if given the choice, will definitely go fishing.

Speaking of hunting... Alice has a habit of darting off into a field of bliss when she’s bored hunting in the Henbane. She doesn’t actively do drugs, and doesn’t want to be an angel, but... She gets bored. And has impulse issues sometimes.

The Seeds tease/taunt her because of her height - she doesn’t even come up to Jacob’s shoulder, which I also think is kinda hilarious lol. Staci used to tease her too, but the entire department learned not to/were told by Whitehorse to stop (unless she can’t reach something and she doesn’t have anything to climb on)

When everything’s done, she helps Grace open up a little cafe. There’s plenty of people to help run it, and she thinks that (after a nice vacation) it would be good for Grace, and eventually Jess as well.

The Sheriff forces her to take a vacation after everything. She tries to go back to just being the Junior Deputy, but she gets roped into continuing to help the resistance. She pretty much takes over Virgil’s responsibilities as mayor, and helps to set up a small school for the few kids left in the county.

If you’ve seen Wynonna Earp - she has the same blue and white truck as Wynonna. She came back to Fall’s End with her little electric car, but that isn’t really feasible to keep using, so she took it up to Missoula one day and sold it. The salesman tried to sell her a fancy new truck, but she was happy with the one Jane had kept for her.

Most called gun for hire: Jess and Grace. She’s not the best at being sneaky, and her eyes aren’t the best for sniping (she had an optometrist appointment for a week after the initial mission, she obviously missed it), so she almost has one or both of them with her. When she needs to just fuck shit up, she’ll call Sharky, though

She started at the sheriff’s office as a secretary - it was a job, and she’d be able to look after her sister (“who didn’t need looking after” but there had been some fainting spells), and then after Hudson’s partner died, Whitehorse told her that she could apply for the role, and she took him up on that. 

If she did join the cult, she’d have a fairly nondescript position - probably something administrative, as that’s what her degree is in. Definitely something behind the scenes and non-violent.

Fucking loves disaster movies. She’s a slut for disaster movies. Like, she’ll sit through all the shitty SyFy channel ones as well as the big budget ones (San Andreas is one of her favorites - it’s so cheesy, but it has Dwayne Johnson and Alexandra Daddario, AND GIANT FUCKIN EARTHQUAKES. And the guy from Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries who is a total teddy bear)

She doesn’t really like planes or helicopters - if they are needed, she’ll get Nick or Addie. She knows enough to take off and land, but she’ll avoid flying herself if at all possible. The mission where Kim has her take Carmina and blow up peggie supplies? Fucking terrifying.

She rock climed and did some parkour back in LA. She didn’t keep up with it when she moved, but it obviously comes in handy...

Alice has two cats: Crookshanks and Data. They are both huge Norwegian forest cats, Crookshanks is an orange tabby, and Data is a grey tabby. When she’s not home, Mary May happily takes care of them.

She has a shitton of anxiety problems. She had a decent supply of meds when shit went down.

She has a major panic attack after driving Nick and Kim to the clinic. Even without the shit all over the road, she was terrified that she would crash and hurt or kill the Ryes. 

Relationships:

Jane - She’s 8 years older than Alice. Alice absoultely does not approve of her relationship with John, and is horrified when she finds out that her sister married the fucker.

Caleb - Both of them are horrible at keeping in contact, so he’s not worried at all when she goes off the radar. 

Joseph - She thinks he’s full of shit lol

John - Direct quote from when she’s told her sin is wrath: “No, it’s not wrath, it’s I fucking hate you.” Once they’re able to laugh about it, Hudson doesn’t let her live that down.

Faith - Uh, she obvs thinks Faith is the cutest. She has a hard time keeping her sass to an angry level, rather than super flirty.

Jacob - They fucked. After the Rye’s barbeque with the infamous watery mac n cheese. I still haven’t figured out why? She hates him now, and absoultely regrets the one night stand (...mostly. She thinks.)

Mary May - Her childhood best friend. They tried to keep in contact after Alice moved, but they eventually both moved on - Alice with new friends in LA, Mary May with helping to run the bar.

Pastor Jerome - He doesn’t mind that she isn’t a practicing Catholic, and welcomes her with open arms. She tries to get people to go to his church again after everything, to mixed levels of success.

Dutch - She’s not a huge fan of him, but she’s grateful for his help, and he is grateful for what she does and how she helps Jess.

Eli - He can’t reconcile the image of the Junior Deputy and the Alice he knows in his head - she doesn’t act anything like the rumors flying around the county, but he loves her (as a friend).

Tracey - They don’t get along very well - it’s a very strained, very professional relationship. Tracey knows that Alice likes Faith, and is very worried that she’ll be too soft on her.

Virgil - She loves his pins, which makes her super cool in his book. They quickly become friends, and he becomes a sorta mentor to her before his death.

Nick and Kim - Nick finds it hilarious that she hates planes so much, and he only uses it to tease her sometimes. Nick quickly becomes like an older brother to her, and she spoils Baby Rye rotten after she’s born.

Adelaide - Also amused by Alice’s feelings on flying, but doesn’t bring it up often as Alice was a frequent visitor to the marina before shit went down. Adelaide doesn’t understand Alice’s crush on Faith, but she will tease her about it (as long as Alice doesn’t defect).

Grace - The two met once before Grace’s parade, and then again at Alice’s dad’s funeral. They get along pretty well, and Alice always has her with her when liberating outposts or doing anything that requires her to have good vision.

Hurk - He drives her insane. She thinks he’s funny, and a really nice guy, but he’s so loud.

Sharky - On the other hand, she loves Sharky. She teases him about the time he puked on Grace every time he mentions having an upset stomach. They’ve drunkenly kissed a few times, but they both try and act like it didn’t happen.

Jess - In the main story? Her girlfriend by the end of the game. Jess teaches her how to hunt properly, even though Alice hates it. Jess joins in her teasing of Sharky about the puking. She hates it when Jess uses the fire arrows - Sharky and Hurk already set her clothes on fire, she doesn’t need it from her super-stealthy person! At the end of everything, she tries to convince Jess to play video games (instead of killing people), to some but not much success.

Relationship wise: They start off with drunken kisses, then one night stands, and then realise that the amount of one night stands (and nights when they fall asleep together) they have mean they’re kinda girlfriends. 

Fangs - She sleeps with Boomer in her bed every night, despite her cats protests. She’ll cuddle with Peaches and Cheeseburger when it’s cold and she’s outside, but it’s a little harder to get the two of them inside the house.

Marshal Burke - She thinks he’s a decent person, a little egotistical, but decent. She’s super shocked when he shoots himself.

Whitehorse - He’s part of the reason she starts to not mind fishing. He’s her surrogate dad, and has been looking out for her since her dad died. They’re both relieved to see each other after the crash.

Hudson - She’s not too sure about Alice at first, but she quickly becomes protective of the “city girl,” and willingly does all of the night driving.

Staci - Her brother’s ex-best friend (for the same reasons as with Mary May). She didn’t really get past “I tolerate you” until the events of the game. After he’s rescued, they become platonic cuddle buddies, even after he starts his thing with Stella. They both agree to not tell Caleb exactly what happened to both of them.
