You tried to occupy yourself as you waited for Bucky to pick you up. You made sure you had your outfit for tomorrow and sent Addison a text to confirm when and where you were meeting. God, what if Bucky insisted on dropping you off? He likely would. There was no way he’d let you head over on your own, unless Ray or someone dropped you off.
“What am I doing?” you muttered.
Staring at yourself in the mirror, you frowned. You had changed out of your work clothes and into something more comfortable. He would think you looked sexy no matter what you wore, even if you didn’t try. What was he going to expect or demand from you? There was no way you’d go through the entire evening in his home without him touching you or something.
You weren’t sure if the anticipation was worse or knowing he’d probably make your body enjoy whatever he’d do to you, and use that as a weapon against you.
The knock on your door made you jump. Had two hours passed already? You checked the peephole and saw Bucky on the other side, shifting from one foot to the other. At least he didn’t break his way inside like he could’ve easily done.
“Hi.” You slowly opened the door to let him in. “I-”
Bucky had you against the wall before you could finish, his lips insistently pressing against yours. The kiss only lasted seconds, but it felt like hours when he pulled away. “Don’t walk home alone again,” he whispered with a brief flash of fear in his eyes.
You nodded after a moment. The conversation from earlier was still on his mind, clearly. “I won’t.”
“You look beautiful by the way.” Taking a breath, he ran both hands through his hair and straightened up. He looked like his normal self again, and you knew it. No matter what he’d find you attractive. “Is this everything?” he asked, picking up the overnight bag and garment bag that you had left by the door.
“Yeah, it should be,” you said, making sure you had your phone and purse, too.
“Was the rest of your day okay?” he asked, watching carefully as you locked the door.
“It was fine,” you replied. You were so busy thinking about Bucky that you hadn’t thought much about Clark. “Was yours?”
“Better now that I’m taking you back to our place,” he said. There was that spring in his step again, like he was allowed to be happy since he knew you were really okay after walking home alone.
“You don’t have to go to the club tonight?” you asked.
“Only if there’s an emergency. There’s no special event tonight, no reason to make an appearance, and my staff knows how to take care of the place,” he assured you. “Time with you is much more important than that.”
When someone like Bucky had the kind of money he did, you imagined he’d drop just about anything to spend time with you and it wouldn’t make a dent in his pocketbook. Even if he lost everything tomorrow, it would be the same. Somehow you’d come first.
Once you were outside, you were surprised to find Steve standing by Bucky’s car instead of Ray. “Hi,” the blonde smiled with a row of perfect teeth.
“Hi,” you replied, stepping a bit closer to Bucky. Steve was his best friend, but you still didn’t know him well. What you did know was that he had his own woman he was stalking.
“Steve insisted on talking to you about that double date.” Bucky playfully rolled his eyes and refused to let his friend take the bags from his hands. He really didn’t want anyone else carrying your things or opening doors for you. “He’s stubborn, but you get used to it after a while.”
“I’m stubborn?” Steve chuckled. “Pot meet kettle.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Bucky smiled, helping you into the car.
The interaction between the two of them was so natural and easy. You imagined that in another life they were decent men who fought for others instead of trapping them. “So, what exactly did you want to talk about?” you asked once you took off.
“Well, we can talk about how excited Bucky is that you’re spending the night,” Steve teased.
“I think she knows,” Bucky smirked, your cheeks hot. Did the whole gang feed into his delusion of what would happen if you stayed over?
“Did you want to talk about the double date?” you asked, hoping the topic switch would help.
“Well, my girl likes art and Bucky mentioned how you sometimes like to relax with a glass of wine,” Steve began, smiling at you in the mirror. “So, I was thinking, we could do one of those wine and painting classes. Just the four of us.”
“But if you didn’t want to do a painting, they do something similar with pottery where everyone can pick their own piece to paint,” Bucky said, slipping an arm over your shoulders.
“Dinner before the painting, too. It would be really nice for you two to talk,” Steve continued, tapping a finger on the steering wheel. “She’s a sweet girl with a big heart, but she doesn’t have many friends nearby like you do.”
“I mean, I’m fine with painting a canvas or pottery. I think we should let her choose since art is one of her passions.” Your heart went out to the girl. Was that why Steve set his sights on her? Did he feel like he was rescuing her in some sense? “And does she have a preference on wine? White or red? Sweet or dry? Maybe I can pick a bottle for her while I’m at the vineyard tomorrow.”
Steve glanced at you again in the mirror, impressed. “That’s very considerate of you,” he said, sharing a quick look with Bucky, too. “And she likes sparkling sweet wine.”
“I have a very considerate girl,” Bucky boasted, kissing your temple. “You really are thoughtful.”
“I try to be,” you whispered, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. “I’m sure Bucky will give me the details once it’s set up,” you said, not finding it in you to argue since you were outnumbered.
“He will,” Steve smiled, clearing his throat. “And now that we have that out of the way…”
“Really, punk?” Bucky asked, tightening his hand on our shoulder.
You sat up a little. All the warmth had left his voice, and he tensed up beside you. “What’s going on?”
“Tell her, Buck,” Steve urged.
You held your breath. Was this about earlier in the day when Ray spoke with Bucky? “Yes, please, tell me.”
Bucky’s jaw clenched. “Mrs. Crandle wasn’t at work today, was she?” he asked as if he already knew the answer.
“No, she…” Your eyes widened. Kate said she called out for some business reason. “Oh, my god. Is she okay?”
“She’s fine, she’s fine,” Bucky assured you, cupping your cheeks. “She’s okay. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“For now, she is,” Steve muttered under his breath.
“Just shut up and drive,” Bucky ordered when you gasped. “The reason she was suddenly out of work today was because of Zemo.”
Your heart sank. What the hell would Zemo want with Mrs. Crandle? “What do you mean?”
“From what we’ve gathered, he met up with her to tell her that she won an all expenses paid trip to a flower expo. She was shocked since she didn’t remember even entering the contest, but he told her someone anonymously registered her,” he explained. “He asked questions about some of her employees in case she wanted to bring anyone from her shop along and your name came up.”
“But why?” you asked. Why would Zemo make a contest just to talk to your boss?
“We still don’t know the angle.” Bucky’s jaw clenched. “He could be doing it to show that can get to people close to you.”
“Like you with Addison and Brady?” you asked. Nick was Brady’s boss now, and it was clear that it wasn’t a coincidence.
“Bucky doesn’t have his hand in the shop out of respect for you, and Zemo knows that,” Steve chimed in before Bucky could argue. “So it’s possible that he may be trying to butter Mrs. Crandle up before he makes an offer, whether it’s to offer some kind of protection or to buy out her shop completely.”
The thought of Zemo owning the shop where you worked or having his hand in it made your stomach turn. “She loves her shop, and she’s honest when it comes to business. She wouldn’t want someone stepping in or buying it,” you said, your breathing a bit heavier. “Is she in danger? Is something going to happen to her because of me?”
If something happened to Mrs. Crandle, you’d never forgive yourself.
“It isn’t because of you, Kotyonok. It’s his actions,” Bucky answered. Just like Bucky’s actions put you in the line of fire. “I hesitated telling you because we still need answers, but she’s safe. We also have someone keeping an eye on her, just to exercise caution.”
You exhaled. If Zemo was trying to scare you, it was working. “Please, don’t keep me in the dark,” you said. Even if it scared you, you had to know. “And Mrs. Crandle is one of the most harmless people in the city and the shop is all she has. If he-”
“We won’t let anything happen to her,” Bucky promised. It was a lot to promise. “And I’m sorry I didn’t say something this morning. I just wanted you to have a normal day.”
You understood part of Bucky’s reasoning. Telling you even when she wasn't in immediate danger would've thrown your whole day off. But what was a normal day now? “We deal with ups and downs every day. So just tell me next time something’s going on, especially if it involves someone important to me.” Ignorance isn't bliss in the world Bucky lived in.
He regarded you with a soft smile. “I will.”
You stayed quiet for the remainder of the ride while Bucky and Steve discussed dinner options for the double date night. It would’ve been endearing with how excited they were, had it not been for the fact that you and Steve’s girl didn’t exactly have a choice. What was going to happen at Thor’s party?
And what about your loved ones? Were they safe? You thought being by Bucky’s side would keep them safe from his wrath, but what if Zemo went after them? You had to trust that Bucky and his men wouldn't allow that to happen.
“You two have fun tonight,” Steve winked. “Try not to get too handsy, jerk.”
“What?” you asked, your throat dry once you realized you were at Bucky’s place. God, you were really there. There was no backing out.
“Just get in your car and go, punk,” Bucky chuckled, helping you out and grabbing your things. “He really is excited for you and his girl to become friends.”
“I’ll bet,” you said, giving Steve a small wave for his benefit.
You counted the number of steps from the car to the elevator. This was similar to when he brought you here the first time because you didn’t know what to expect. You weren’t sure if it was better or worse though knowing what you knew now.
“Where’s Ray?” you asked.
“He’s busy,” Bucky answered cryptically, sweeping his gaze over you. “You seem nervous. If you’d rather skip your day out tomorrow, I can help you find a few ways to relax.”
“How about I find a way to relax and still go out tomorrow?” you suggested.
“You’re really determined to go. And here I thought Steve and I were the stubborn ones,” he smirked, guiding you into the penthouse. “Why don’t you take a seat in the living room and I’ll put your stuff in the bedroom?”
“Okay,” you breathed, hoping he didn’t notice you trembling as you walked through the place. It felt warmer than the last time you were there, more like the temperature that you kept at your place. And as dangerous as Bucky was, you somehow felt safe being there. Someone like Zemo wasn’t going to get in there. Clark wouldn’t either.
Rubbing your arms, you took a seat on the sofa. It was a beautiful room, but nothing like your living room. It wasn't just the difference in size, but you noticed once again that there were no nicknacks or homey touches. Maybe you could add a pop or color or even some flowers to… Oh, God. You were really thinking of how you’d decorate the place.
“You still look nervous,” Bucky said once he joined you, giving you absolutely no space as he took a seat. “You don’t have to be.”
“I’m not nervous,” you lied, biting your lip. “Okay, I am a little.”
He hummed. “Were you expecting me to drag you to bed?”
You nodded slowly. He behaved himself in the car with Steve there, but now the two of you were alone and you had no idea where Ray was. There was nothing to stop him from taking what he thought belonged to him.
“You thought sex would make it up to me because you walked home alone?”
“No,” you said immediately. You shouldn’t have to give him sex to say you’re sorry, especially when he had a much longer list of things he needed to apologize for. “I just thought this was a natural step in a relationship, you know? Spending the night together.”
A natural step would’ve been him staying at your place, too, but he was certain you would live at his place. And having him in your space, it didn’t feel the same. It was something you wanted to keep sacred.
“It is a natural step, but I don’t think you offered to stay here to make it up to me.”
His statement surprised you. That was part of the reason. If you made it up to him, he wouldn’t object to you going out with your friends. You weren’t going to bring up Clark or that the thought of being alone at your place made you nervous. “Then why else do you think I’m here?” you asked.
“Because you like being near me,” he said, your eyes rounding. “You slept beside me last night and you want to experience that again. Either that or being near me makes you feel safer than you want to admit.”
You scoffed. “No, that’s…” You shook your head. “I mean, no. That’s just-”
He gently smiled. “It's okay to admit. It'll be our secret.”
You shook your head again. Admitting that being in his arms wasn’t terrible and that his place did feel safer than yours at the moment would give him another win. “I'm not admitting anything.”
The smile on his face widened. “Is it because I'm right and you don't want me to be right?”
“Maybe this was a bad idea,” you said, standing and crossing your arms. “I should just go.”
“No, no, no. I’ll stop teasing. Please stay,” he nearly begged, getting to his feet, too. “How about I run you a bath and you can relax?”
“...A bath?” you asked. It wasn’t fair. He knew how much you loved taking baths.
He nodded. “A warm bath and a glass of wine, too.”
You uncrossed your arms, avoiding his hopeful gaze. It was a bit of a rough day, on top of a rough week. You deserved to relax. “Okay, that actually sounds really nice.”
He smiled and offered his hand. “I have bath bombs or salts if you want those, too. Anything to help you relax.”
“You have bath bombs?” you asked, your curiosity peaked. “What kind?”
“I have honeysuckle, lavender, vanilla,” he smiled softly. Each scent sounded like something that would help make the stress leave your body. “Let me show you.”
You let him lead the way you were pretty sure most of your apartment could fit inside the luxurious bathroom. The inviting tub almost made you burst into happy tears. It was nothing like your builder's grade tub. This was an honest to goodness clawfoot tub of your dreams.
“You like it?” Bucky smiled.
Blinking, you remembered Bucky saying how he wanted to fuck you in his tub. Would it be tonight? “I love it,” you admitted.
His smile stretched from ear to ear. “I’ll grab a tray and I can bring you a book if you want. Or you can just relax and enjoy your wine.”
“Well.” You thought it over. “I wouldn’t mind a book.”
Bucky nodded and brought the bath bombs out for you to choose from before he ushered you into the bedroom. “Why don't you stay here and pick one out while I'll get everything else you need?”
“Okay,” you said, holding your breath as you stared at the king sized bed. You avoided looking at it when he led you into the bathroom, but now you couldn’t help yourself. That was the bed he expected you to sleep with him in… the bed he’d fuck you and make love to you in. The satin sheets were a dark promise that he’d get everything he wanted and more.
Shaking your head, you carefully picked up each bath bomb and gave them a sniff. Each one smelled better than the last, and your eyes nearly rolled back at the one you selected. You wondered if he had these before you met or if he bought them specifically for you to have available.
Bucky came back after a minute and took your hand, guiding you back into the bathroom. “I’ve got everything all set.” The tub was steaming, candles were lit, and there was a generous glass of wine waiting on the tray with a book. “There's a robe on the back of the door, and I'll make sure fresh pajamas are ready for when you get out.”
You tried not to choke up. It felt romantic, but you appreciated how thoughtful it was. “I…” You had to clear your throat. “I brought pajamas.”
“I know, but I wanted to surprise you,” he smiled. “They’re your size and I think you’ll like them.”
“Thanks.” What other clothes did he have waiting for you? “What will you do while I'm in the tub?”
“I have a couple of calls to make.” He kissed your forehead. “And there's something else I want to set up for you.”
You shook your head. “I think this is more than enough,” you said honestly. He didn’t have to go to the trouble of setting this up. “But…” You fidgeted a little. “You promise you won’t just… barge in, right?”
This was still his home. He could easily make an excuse to go into his bathroom for whatever reason. And being naked in the bathtub, you’d be more vulnerable than normal.
Bucky’s eyebrows pinched. “Of course I won’t. This is your relaxing time,” he promised, kissing your forehead again as you breathed easier. “And like I said, I have a few things to do.”
You felt a little sheepish at his expression. “I’m sorry. I just…”
“Nothing to apologize for. I don't blame you for double checking.” He patted your backside with a gentle hand. “Just enjoy your time.”
With a small smile, he shut the door behind him. You waited a full minute after hearing his footsteps fade before you undressed and added the bath bomb to the tub. The scent brought a smile to your face before you tested the water temperature with your hand. It felt perfect, evident by your sigh once you got in.
You took your time sipping your wine as you began to read. Was this really going to be your bathroom now? Would you relax here after a rough shift or just because you felt like it? How many nights would Bucky insist on joining you?
But the man was, surprisingly, true to his word. He hadn’t disturbed you once. Even after you finished your glass and added more warm water to the tub, he didn’t knock or barge in. Even when you grudgingly got out of the tub and dried off before you pulled the plush robe on, he wasn’t sitting there waiting. Was he actually respecting your boundaries?
Peeking out into the bedroom, Bucky had laid out a pair of soft pajamas like he promised and was still nowhere to be seen. You were still quick to change so he couldn’t sneak a look at you. But where was he?
You thought of calling out when you went to search for him since the lights were dimmed all over the penthouse. Your fingers touched one of the walls. Would he ever hang a picture of his mom up or was it too painful?
Tiptoeing over to the balcony when you saw the door open, you spotted Bucky reading a book, too, and sipping whiskey from a tumbler. He looked completely at ease, lost in his own lonely world, and you weren’t sure if you should disturb him. Turning around, you wondered where you should go. Maybe you could curl up on the couch or something before he could-
“All finished in the bath?”
You froze and turned back toward him, his hair gently blowing in the breeze. “Yeah, sorry. I didn't know what to do when I was done, so I was going to wander around.”
He downed the rest of his glass and smiled. “You're welcome to wander, except into the den which is being redone.” He offered his hand again when he stood. “Did you enjoy your bath?”
“I did. That bath bomb was incredible,” you said. There was no reason to lie. “So was the wine.”
You gulped a little. Oh, god. You didn’t see him pour the glass. Why did you accept that from him? He could’ve put something in it. No, he wouldn’t. He wanted you to want him without that sort of influence.
“I'll get you more. The bath bomb and the wine.” he smiled, leading you back to the living room where he had pillows and blankets set up.
“Bucky, you didn’t have to-”
“I don't have to do anything, but I wanted to. Do you like it?”
You looked at the lush blankets and fluffy pillows. Like the bathroom, it looked like a dream. Looking back at him, you smiled softly at his once again hopeful expression. He carried himself with such confidence and didn't seem to care if he impressed others except for you. “I do. Thank you.”
He smiled, too, his whole face bright. “I thought it would be another good way to relax.”
The memory of Clark walking you home popped in your mind for some reason before you pushed it away. “This is all thoughtful, but aren't I supposed to be making it up to you?”
He frowned a little at your expression. “You being here is more than enough.” His fingers barely grazed your cheek. “Are you okay?”
You blinked and nodded. “I’m fine.”
Bucky considered you and you couldn’t help but fidget again when he pinned you with his gaze. “Is something wrong?” he asked.
You bit the inside of your cheek and closed your eyes. “I just don't understand why you’re doing all of this.”
He could’ve been manipulating you again, but it actually seemed like he was trying to be a doting boyfriend without expecting anything in return. Your guard was down enough for him to worm his way in, and you all too easily accepted the kind gestures. Why were you making it easy for him?
“You mean setting up the blankets and pillows? I thought we could lay together and watch a movie. Or talk.” His fingers touched your cheek again. “Whatever you want.”
You avoided his gaze when you opened your eyes. “That’s all you want?” you asked. He hadn’t dragged you to bed once you arrived, but he also didn’t say that he didn’t want something.
He ran a thumb over your bottom lip. “Well, I won’t lie to you. I want you, but I'm not pushing you. This is the first time you came to me willingly, and I want to cherish it.”
You shivered at his touch. “Yeah, I did come here willingly,” you said. Sort of.
“And how do you feel being here compared to the first time?”
“Better,” you admitted. You weren’t completely terrified this time, and you also felt like you had some control over. Maybe not much, but some.
“Good. Now, shall we?”
You nodded and allowed Bucky to help you settle into the comfort of the pillows. He pulled you close, but it wasn’t as suffocating as it had been before. This felt more gentle. More… right.
It should’ve felt wrong.
The room was so quiet and all you could hear for a minute was the gentle sound of his breathing and his heart beating. “What's your favorite color?” you asked. “I don't think you've told me.”
You weren’t sure if you had taken the time to ask because, well, it hadn’t been a real relationship in your eyes. But you needed to know him. Call it acceptance or ammunition. Maybe both.
“Blue,” he answered, his hand absentmindedly moving along your side.
“And your birthday?”
“March 10th.”
“Wait, you're a Pisces?” you smiled a little. “That explains so much.”
He smiled down at you and chuckled. “Oh, does it now?”
You laughed lightly. “Well, yeah. I mean, you’re just… you know…” He raised an eyebrow and waited for you to finish. “Emotional.”
“I can't argue with that,” he smiled, leaning in a bit. “Does it explain anything else?”
“Well, you're…” You were a little distracted as he kept rubbing your side. “Intense. Passionate. You want to be close to the person you fall for.”
He fit that to a tee.
His darkened eyes made you lose your breath. “I can’t argue with that either,” he whispered, pulling you close without hesitation and fusing your mouths together.
Bucky held you tight and rolled you over so you were on top of him, his hands skimming your thighs as he made you straddle him. A small sound escaped when he brushed against you, your heart pounding in your ears. “Bucky-”
“Stay home with me tomorrow,” he whispered, sitting up with you in his lap still. “We don’t have to go anywhere. We can spend the whole day together.”
“No,” you said firmly. You were going out with your friends and that was final. “Send Ray or someone to watch over me. I’ll be back before you know it.”
“Please?” he asked, thrusting his hips up. “I’ll make it worth your while if you skip.”
Natasha’s words crossed your mind, reminding you that you had power. But a sinking feeling washed over you because that power had to come from your body, right? You shouldn’t be expected to give him sex, but you could give him something to hold him over. Pushing the dread away, you could hate yourself later for it. “You can spend time with me when I get back,” you offered, grinding your hips against his. “I’ll be all yours.”
The sickening feeling you expected when he moaned didn’t come. “You promise?” he murmured.
“Mmhmm,” you hummed, grinding your hips again. “You can even drop me off at Addison’s, and I’ll let you know when I get back to my place. I promise.”
“Okay, Kotyonok,” he groaned, his hands grabbing your waist. Your triumph didn’t last long. “Keep doing that and I’ll pay for all the bottles of wine you want, too.”
“You don’t have to-”
“Let me touch you. Please, just let me make you feel good,” he half begged, half demanding between kissing you again. He truly hungered for you. “I'll make you feel amazing if you just let me touch you.”
You took a deep, shaky breath. How far would he take it if he touched you? No, you had to stay in control. “You are touching me.”
“Let me take you to bed. I'll eat your pussy so good you'll cry.”
You tensed and tried to push yourself up, but he grabbed you and situated you over one of his massive thighs. He had a firm hold on you and it made your heart pound. “I don't want you to be scared. I'll take such good care of you.”
“I just… I’m not…” If he took you to bed, there’d be no turning back, and you had to maintain some control.
“You’re not ready for that,” he stated, his eyes still dark. Shaking your head, it worried you how he’d take it. But he suddenly started moving you over his thigh, hard and slow. “Okay, Kotyonok. I won't put my tongue or fingers in you just yet, but I still want to make you feel good.”
You made a small sound, trying to get your body to relax. You had never ridden anyone’s thigh before and you hadn’t pictured it like this. But the blissful look on his face, he looked like he was in heaven.
“You have no idea how beautiful you are, do you? Especially like this,” he praised.
“I…” you whimpered. “I’m not-”
“Yes, you are,” he growled, tightening his grip. “And you deserve to feel good. My girl deserves whatever she wants.”
Your hands flew to his shoulders when he flexed his thigh, sending an unexpected shock through your entire body. “Oh, my God,” you whispered before you could stop yourself.
“That felt good, right?” he asked, watching you with lidded eyes. “You want me to keep going? Make you come all over my pants?”
You whimpered when he held you still, unsure it was his dirty talk or the slight edging that had you trembling. “Bucky…”
“Tell me, Kotyonok,” he ordered, licking his lips and relaxing back into the blankets and pillows. “Tell me you want me to keep going and I will.”
You looked deep into his eyes. There was so much fire in them and it was burning for you. Your breath caught as he flexed his thigh again and you found yourself nodding. “Please, Bucky. Keep going.”
He shook his head. “That’s not what I said,” he whispered, sliding his tongue along your lips. “Tell me.”
You swallowed hard, your core throbbing. “I want you to keep going,” you breathed.
“That’s my good girl,” he praised, rocking you over his thigh again and sitting up, desperately pressing his lips to your neck. “You'll never have to beg for anything you want. Just ask or tell me and it's yours.”
Your eyes burned with unshed tears as your nails dug into his shoulders, feeling his thigh getting wetter beneath you. “Please…” you whispered, unsure of what exactly you were asking for. Mercy? To be put out of your misery? You could ask for anything except for freedom.
“Still begging when you don't have to.” He chuckled affectionately. “You’re so sweet.”
The pleasure building inside you was bittersweet. Sexual acts were, in your eyes, something to bring you closer together. What would he want next? What would you want next?
“Fucking yourself on my thigh. Wait ‘til you fuck yourself on my cock,” he gruffly spoke, your walls clenching around nothing when he lightly nipped over your pulse. “Just let go if you want. Make a mess for me.”
You were breathless from how close you were. “Do… that again,” you said, unable to let yourself feel embarrassed in the moment.
Bucky nipped your neck again and smiled when you moaned. “Fuck, that’s my beautiful girl. Doing so good for me, telling me what you want,” he said gruffly, dragging you faster along his thigh. “Now I want you to come for me.”
Your mouth fell open when he rocked you faster and bit down once more, hard enough that something inside you snapped. It didn’t just snap, you shattered. You saw stars. You couldn't stop it.
“There you go. Coming just for me,” he smiled, burying his face in your neck. “Fuck, you got my thigh all wet. Just ride it out. Good girl.”
Your face burned and you wanted to hide once you slowed down, but he wouldn’t let you when he lifted his head. He looked so happy, like a cat who got the cream. Your release dripped from your pussy and soaked your pajamas and his pants. You let him get you off.
And breathing hard, you surprised both of you by leaning in and kissing him.
He let out a deep moan, kissing you back with everything he had as he held you closer. You were still shaking from your orgasm, and you could blame that for the reason why you kissed him. And he behaved, not letting his hands wander as his tongue moved with yours.
He kept his mouth close to yours when you pulled back. The orgasm surprisingly helped you relax, but it worried you, too. Had you pushed too far with what you just did? Would he want more? You couldn’t let him in, and you weren’t ready to let yourself fall for him after everything. Not yet.
“Um, thanks,” you said, unsure of what to say to break the tension.
“Thank you,” he smiled.
His smile confused you. “But… you didn’t…” you trailed off. He was hard in his pants, and you hadn’t gotten him off. You selfishly got yourself off on his thigh with his encouragement.
“That doesn't matter,” he assured you, kissing the tip of your nose. “You trusted me enough to make you feel good.”
Your jaw dropped slightly. “But that’s… No. I…” You just wanted a bit of time with your friends, it wasn’t about trust. Was it? How could you trust this man?
He tucked your head under his chin and wrapped one of the blankets around you. “I know you're still a bit scared and you don’t want to trust me, and that’s okay. It’s scary to let someone like me in after everything.”
You shut your eyes to hold back tears. He had scared you from the moment you met, but you wouldn’t say you were completely scared of him right now. Not really. You didn’t know how you felt.
That was what scared you.
“Will someone keep an eye on my place while I’m out tomorrow?” you asked curiously, hoping the question didn't sound weird. You just didn't want Clark snooping around, and you didn't want Bucky worked up if you mentioned him.
“I have safety measures in place,” he replied. “Do you feel safe here?” he asked above a whisper.
“Yes,” you replied. You felt safe and in danger all at once. It was a strange feeling.
“Good,” he whispered. “Hey. Maybe you can spend the night tomorrow, too? We’ll do a movie night.”
“Maybe,” you whispered, your heart finally starting to slow to a steady rate. “And pizza.”
“Pizza and a movie? It’s a date,” he smiled. “We can talk about redecorating the place, too. Make it a real home for us.”
“A real home,” you whispered, knowing full well you were home for Bucky.
He rubbed your back and you noticed how relaxed he was. He was content to just hold you. Like an actual couple. Exactly what he wanted.
And if he noticed a tear streaming down your cheek when you eventually fell asleep in his arms, he thoughtfully kept that to himself.
So, that happened. It could've been... worse? He's wearing his girl down, isn't he? How are things going to be in the morning? Will he leave you be when you're with your friends? Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

You often wondered about the first moment you fell in love. It happened so gradually that you couldn't quite recall the moment it finally clicked. The same thought followed you in the small hours of the night, on the long work days when your feet and back ached, and especially on the days when you missed his presence most.
It had been the summer of 2008 when you first met him. You were a bright eyed eleven year old, too innocent for the world. The sun had finally started shining after a long week of summer showers and so your sketch pads laid against the hot pavement, pencils scattered around you. Your bottom lip was jutted in concentration, hands flying across the paper, a brown pencil tucked between your fingers.
You paused as a shadow blocked the sunlight casting darkness across your drawing. You slowly glanced upward expecting your mother but instead a boy towered over you, eyes focused on the paper at your folded legs. You looked down and back at him again.
"That's pretty good" He said, finger pointed to the cat drawing you were currently sketching.
"Thanks" You replied, tone clipped. "Can you move? You're blocking the sunlight"
He shuffled to the side, the soles of his shoes scuffing against the pavement. He continued to hover over you for the next minute or two, eyes focused and head moving when your pencil flicked in a certain direction. You tried your best to remain cool, uncomfortable under the unknown boys stare.
You dropped the pencil, staring up at him. "What are you doing?" You questioned.
"Watching you" He replied matter of factly.
"It's creepy"
He shrugged. "As i've heard before"
His words softened your gaze a little. You knew what kids were like. Their mean words, their horrid actions. You had known it a little too well, it was the reason you chose to stay so close guarded. Even at eleven you knew how cruel the world could be.
You straightened your back, apologetically looking back at him. "I didn't mean that" You said sincerely.
"It's okay, i'm used to it" He laughed it off. "Do you live here?" The boy pointed to the house behind you, the one with the windows pulled open and the trot music lowly drifting out.
"Yeah" You admitted, a little embarrassed.
He scratched the back of his arm, a red mark, almost like a burn, stood out against his pale skin. "Cool, we're neighbours" He beamed.
Hyehwa Station was fairly empty for a Saturday night. The only sounds came from the racketing trains passing through and the footsteps of the commuters heading home after their 9 to 5's. You wrapped the coat tighter around yourself, attempting to savour the warmth and took a seat at the empty bench. The small screen read ten minutes until the next train to Itaewon. You let out a sigh stretching your legs. The long work hours were slowly killing you.
Too busy trying not to fall asleep you took no notice of the person now sat beside you, too tired to care, until he loudly cleared his throat. You looked to your right, a well dressed man smiled, a little menacing if you were honest, at you, briefcase at his side. You smiled awkwardly back, bowing your head slightly out of politeness.
"Would you like to play a game?" The man questioned, the same uncanny smile on his face.
The unsettling feeling of dread settled in your stomach. You moved closer to the edge of the bench, as far from him as you could. "Excuse me?" You replied.
His head titled to the side, facial expression frozen. "Would you like to play a game?" He repeated.
"No thank you" You muttered under your breath.
The stranger didn't reply instead he stood up, opening the briefcase on the now empty spot he had once been sitting. You watched him in confusion, you didn't have the time or energy to be dealing with the strange people that frequented the subway stations. You pinched the bridge between your eyebrows, sighing loudly.
"Would you like to play a game?" He asked again as if stuck on a record.
"Look-" You started, turning to face him but froze momentarily. "What?" You asked dumbfounded.
Enough money to pay the month's rent gleamed up at you. Stacks upon stacks of Korean won sat neatly in the briefcase. You glanced up at him and back at the bills again. You didn't hesitate before asking, "What's the game?"
The man's eyes sparkled, his smile somehow becoming wider. He reminded you of something from the horror comics you used to read as a child.
He reached into the case pulling out two envelopes, red and blue. "Ddakji" He said, gaze fixated on you. "I'm sure you know how to play"
You hadn't in years, you'd probably only played it once or twice but you nodded nonetheless.
His twinkling eyes crinkled with a smile, "Win and i'll give you 100,000 won. Lose and you'll receive a punishment." He paused. "Ready?"
Your brows furrowed. "Punishment?"
"Just a light slap"
At this point you didn't care, you would've taken any punishment if it meant winning the money in that briefcase and you were winning it.
"Okay" You agreed, standing up and shrugging the backpack from your shoulders, then placing it onto the bench.
Five rounds later and you were 100,000 won richer. Your left cheek throbbed, your eyes filled with tears. Your mouth tasted metallic from the cuts you'd bit into your cheeks in frustration. He was too good at this, his calmness told you he'd done it one too many times.
"Congratulations, Y/N-ssi" The man applauded, slowly clapping.
You stared back at him through hooded eyes, attempting to catch your breath. He stretched out a hand, fingers delicately picking up the stack of cash and passing it to you. You quickly snatched it, scared he would take it away from you and tucked it safely into the pocket of your coat.
He closed the case, turning to face you cheerfully. It seemed this man didn't know how to be upset. He reached into his pocket, taking out a small brown card and holding it out for you. You hesitated but took it from his grasp. Three symbols stared up you, a square, a triangle and a circle.
"Call the number on the back if you're interested in winning a lot more" He said, bowing in your direction and then taking off towards the exit.
You flipped it over and truth be told a number was there. Your mouth twisted, mind in battle with itself. If it was another game of ddakji or even worse, some other childhood game, you'd be screwed, you would be loosing whatever money was up for grabs in the first round. Your childhood was spent in comic books and colouring pencils, or in textbooks and homework, not on the playground with other kids playing games, you'd have no idea how too.
Your mind contemplated it over on the train ride home, occupying your running thoughts with something else for once. You entered the cold apartment at almost midnight, instantly throwing yourself face down onto the bed. Your backpack and coat still on. You let your body sink into the mattress, exhaling loudly. The apartment was silent, so quiet you could hear the refrigerator humming and the wind rattling against the windows.
These were the nights when your mind went to him. When it was quiet. When it was your heartbeat you could hear and not his underneath you. You flipped onto your back, backpack digging into you, moving uncomfortably you pulled it from your shoulders tossing it onto the floor. Your fingers found your pockets taking out the brown card, staring intently at the phone number. When had your life become such a shit show, when had accepting a beating from a stranger in the subway station for 100,000 become the normal. This wasn't how you planned it for yourself. You often wondered where it all went wrong.

You started the week, feeling like you could take on the world. You made a plan, things seemed to be going well enough at work, it was as if nothing could bring you down from your high. Except there was something and that feeling of invincibility didn’t last very long unfortunately. After the games on Sunday, you could feel it in Joe too. The tension in the household was prevalent, making it hard to keep up the peppy act when you weren’t feeling in very high spirits either. Sure, you were used to your mood sometimes feeling low, able to push through the week while you looked forward to the weekend. This week just felt particularly tough. Everything felt like an uphill battle, getting yourself out of bed, managing your workload with being back in the office, and keeping the house together. Joe had been busy himself with some meetings about changes to the team, putting in long days at the facility and drowning himself in workouts at the gym or film in his office. You knew this was typical for him, but with your current state it felt like the world was closing in around you.
As if the tension at home wasn’t enough, you had to hear it from your coworkers, the guys specifically, about the Bengals not making the playoffs. It was as if they knew exactly what they were doing, feigning for a rise out of you. The feeling of your skin heating everytime it comes up while trying to maintain your composure. You knew Joe tried his hardest to get them to even have a possible chance, realizing other people didn’t think the same way. Your social media was flooded too from “fans” making comments about how Joe could do better than you, he was too successful to be with “someone like you”. Making statements about how Joe didn’t need anyone holding him back, acting like they knew him and his best interests.
It wasn’t just what people said though, it felt like anything you wore didn’t suit you. You were usually a confident person, able to brush off any negativity that was thrown your way. Secure in your style, your personality, especially your relationship with Joe. He always made you feel like you were the only girl in the world. Recently, with him being gone as much as he was, it was easy to feel like he was doing it out of spite. Maybe he was reading the same things you were and was too much of a coward to admit it to your face. You knew deep down these thoughts weren’t true, but they were too loud to shut out. You were getting sick and tired of all of the outside noise. Instead of drowning it out like usual, you found it to be suffocating. It was pulling you into a spiral, one you haven’t felt in ages. You felt like you weren’t good enough, pretty enough, capable even.
There were times, when one thing could knock you down by the knees and make you feel weak. It would shut down some of your defenses, making you more susceptible to nitpicking and criticism. You knew what you signed up for when you started dating Joe, willing to persevere with whatever life would throw at you to be the person you loved. Everything else just felt so heavy that you started to believe some of the things they were saying. If everyone says he’s better off, I’ll make sure I’m out of his way.
You tried your best to throw yourself into your work, getting as head as you were able to distract yourself from your thoughts that were swirling. You stopped putting in as much effort to your clothes, wearing anything you could that wouldn’t bring attention to your frame. You stuck to your office, only being around your coworkers when you had to, which even then you tried your best to avoid at all costs.
As the week went on, Joe started to be around more which made him harder to avoid. Things were finally ironing out for a plan for the next season, making him more available and able to start enjoying his offseason with the person he loved. He knew he was being a jerk unintentionally, leaving early and coming home late to get things done. He knew he had a tendency for throwing himself into things and blocking out everything else, the repercussion being that you were caught in the crossfire. He never meant to hurt you, he was trying to do better and be better for you, more present even when it was hard. With the offseason starting, he knew he needed to make you a priority. The only problem was that it seemed like you were avoiding him.
Joe wanted to do better, show you how much he cared for you and everything you did for him. He knew he couldn’t make up for how he's acted or the lost time together, but he could start now by putting his best foot forward. Joe was able to see how much time and effort you put into making your house a home, wanting to do something nice back for you. He knew how much you loved his cooking, a rarity during the season due to his hectic schedule. He made a nice meal for you, cooked your favorite while he set the table with flowers and candles. He waited by the door for you to get home, feeling like an eternity before you finally walked through the door.
He took in your appearance, your clothing a lot baggier than you usually wore. You had dark circles under your eyes, your shoulders were dropped low and were visibly shrinking into yourself. His heart was cracking in two, not being able to shake the feeling like he was the one that did this to you. If he was around more, gave you more of his attention. He could only hope that thing would go up from here.
“Hi hunny, I made us some dinner. I hope you’re hungry, it’s your favorite,” Joe said, opening his arms to embrace you. You stepped into his arms, lightly wrapping your arms around his waist. It was nothing compared to your usual hug, feeling half-ass and resistant. Joe tried to shake it off, wondering if you were just tired.
“You okay?”
“Yeah, just a long day,” was all you said, letting him go and walking towards the table where Joe had everything set. You felt tears well up in your eyes, doing everything in your power to hold them back. You wouldn’t let him see you break down, not when you saw just how much effort he put into tonight. The inner voice in your head nagged at you, telling you that you didn’t deserve this, him. You tried your best to stifle it, to get through dinner so then you could take the time to be alone.
Dinner was mostly silent, your responses were short and sweet to any conversation he attempted to start with you. Joe was trying his hardest to pull you out of this funk you were in, bringing up anything and everything to get you to talk. You silently cleared the table, trying your best to stay out of Joe’s reach. You were aware of his attempts, but you were too absorbed in your negative spiral to truly see he was trying.
“I’m gonna go shower” you said quietly as you started to walk out of the kitchen.
“Can I join you?” Joe asked, hopeful to have some time to reconnect with you. He missed you, all of you.
“I’ll just take one myself, take some alone time” your voice slightly wavering at the direct confrontation, your eyes facing the floor not able to meet Joe’s gaze.
Joe wasn’t having any of it, always showering with you whenever he had the chance to. It was something you both enjoyed, treating it as a way to reconnect with one another at the end of the day. He could tell there was something off with you, having a feeling he knew part of what was happening. You were avoiding his touch, sleeping just out of his reach whenever you got too close. You were making sure to keep your distance, though it was painful to do it.
You were stopped short before you could fully leave the kitchen. You felt Joe’s large hand circle around your smaller wrist, stopping you in your tracks. His touch instantly brought you a sense of relief, you didn’t know how much you truly missed him.
“Come with me” Joe said, sliding his hand down to meet your hand while guiding you up the stairs to your shared bedroom. He didn’t let go of your hand until he stopped in front of your floor length mirror that was sitting in the corner of your shared bedroom. He lightly pulled you so that you were standing in front of him, letting him loom behind you, your height difference evident.
“Why am I in front of our mirror?” You questioned, looking at him through the reflection.
“Tell me what you see,” Joe said, looking straight ahead, his voice coming off low and firm.
You tilted your head to the side, confused “me and you?”
“No, tell me what you see when you look at yourself” he settled his hands on your hips, his grip tender as he stroked your hips gently with his thumbs creating goosebumps across your skin.
Your eyes caught his in the mirror, feeling more comfortable than holding your own stare.
“Don’t look at me, sweetheart, look at you. Tell me all the good things you see.”
It was hard to hold your own stare when you were wishing you could look anywhere else. Joe could read you like a book, could tell you were feeling off about yourself. He was always the first one to reassure you whenever he got the chance, this time you never gave him one. It seemed like he was taking matters into his own hands.
“But you’re so much nicer to look at” you said with a light laugh, but Joe wasn’t having any of it. His eyes told you everything you wanted to know and directed your gaze back to yourself, I’m not playing games.
“Umm, I like my eyes,” you said, sounding more like you were trying to convince yourself rather than tell Joe.
Joe lightly chuckled behind you. “Why?”
“I like how they change colors depending on what I’m wearing, I can always make them look nice whenever I do makeup.”
“So you like your eyes, how they change.” Joe moved his head so that he was resting his jaw against the top of yours, using you as a chin rest though his eyes never left yours. “Tell me what else.”
“I don’t want to come off like I’m bragging or anything, not like there’s much to-”
“Pointing out what makes you beautiful isn’t bragging, it’s stating facts. Though you could brag about it all you want, I wouldn’t be opposed.”
“I guess I like my hair, though I feel like it’s too short for my face since I got it cut.”
“I like it short, it makes it easy for me to see all the cute little faces you make or when I make you blush.”
Like clockwork, your cheeks immediately started to heat at his admission.
“My boobs could be bigger.”
“Your boobs are perfect, they fit just right in my hands,” he says as his hands slide up your front and rest on your chest. You feel his breath catch in his throat at his discovery. “No bra?”
You shook your head, meeting his eyes again in the mirror, “I have felt like putting one on to be honest, felt like extra effort.”
He dropped his hands to the hem of your sweatshirt, looking at you for permission to take it off. With a soft nod, he slipped the fabric over your head, leaving you shirtless and feigning for his touch to be back on your skin. Joe moaned at the sight of you topless, he always loved your tits.
“I want you to see what I see. A beautiful, sexy woman who I get to call mine. It’s not just your outer beauty either, you have so many other wonderful qualities about you that I fall harder for each and every day.”
Joe moved to be in front of the mirror, turning his body to face me. He gave me a mischievous wink before dropping to his knees in front of me.
“I’m gonna eat you out while you watch yourself in that mirror. You’re gonna see exactly what I get the pleasure of seeing every time I go down on you, every time I get you under me or riding me. The one catch is you have to keep your eyes there, if you stop then I stop. Got it, sweetheart?”
You couldn’t help, but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. It was truly a challenge he was posing, one that made your skin prickle with heat just thinking about it. “And how exactly are you gonna know if I stop?”
“Easy, my eyes will be on you making sure your eyes are on yourself.”
With his gaze never leaving yours, he grabs ahold of the top of your jeans and pulls them down, taking your panties with them as they slip down your legs. Joe paused to slip the sneakers off your feet before completely taking the clothing from your legs, leaving you naked standing above him.
“Absolutely fucking beautiful” he mumbled, with his gaze on your legs as he ran his hands up your bare skin. Joe paused at your knees, moving to spread you open. His hands continued up your thighs to spread you wider, the anticipation burning hotter inside of you. When Joe’s eyes land on your pussy, you sink your teeth into your lower lip to fight back a groan, feeling your heart rate increase by the look in his eyes.
“Look at you, already so wet for me.” Joe licked a quick stripe through your center, immediately making your head fall back. He gave you a quick smack to your thigh, pulling you out of your trance. “All for me?”
“Always for you,” you whispered, a sharp intake of breath hitting your lungs when he trails his fingers gently through your slit finishing his pass with a short brush to your clit. Your body felt electric, his touch igniting you leaving heat in its wake.
Your comment earned a strong groan from Joe in response,”now that sounds like my girl.”
He placed gentle kisses to both of your hip bones, showering you with praises each time his lips touched your skin. It was like he was slowly putting you back together one kiss at a time.
“Beautiful.” kiss.
“Smart.” kiss.
“Kind.” kiss.
"Funny." kiss.
“Generous.” kiss.
“Stunning.” kiss.
You lost track of how many, the praises continually spilling out of his mouth. Making his way across your belly as he trailed his way to the apex of your thighs at a painstakingly slow pace, at least to you. It felt like an eternity passed before he finally had his mouth on you,
Everything felt overwhelming, it getting harder and harder to keep your eyes open let alone on yourself in the mirror. It felt like his touch was everywhere, your senses heightened. Everything he did felt amazing, your hands were knotted through his hair as you held on, trying your best to stay standing. His mouth was relentless on your wet heat, taking everything he could get from you. It was hard for you to admit to yourself, but you looked hot like this. You had this god of a man on his knees before you, his mouth devouring you like you were his last meal. You let the feeling wash over you, a moan slipping past your lips as you looked down at Joe.
Sure as shit, his eyes were on you, watching your every move. He smiled against your pussy briefly before getting back into the moment and sucking your clit into his mouth. Slipping two of his slender fingers into you, he began to pump them in and out, slow at first and gradually increasing speed. He arched them just right, hitting your spot with the right amount of pressure time after time. You could feel the knot building in your stomach, finding it hard to hold back any longer.
“I’m not gonna last long,” you breathed out, unsure of your voice.
“You don’t need to hold back, come for me. I want to taste you pretty girl.”
It didn’t take much to fall apart above him, his name falling past your lips in rapid succession as your orgasm washed over you. You rode out your high, pulling his head more into your pussy, earning a satisfied groan from Joe at your actions. He always loved when you would tackle what you needed from him.Your orgasm felt more intense standing up, leaning on Joe for support while you gained your bearings.
When you finally came to, you released Joe from your grip and let him up for air. Your hands trailed down from his hair to his jaw, lifting his chin to meet your eyes.
“I’m sorry for how I acted. Everything just became so heavy this week and I know how hard everythings been for you, I didn’t want to put anything else on your plate,” you said honestly, watching Joe’s eyes soften at your words.
“You can always come to me with whatever you’re feeling no matter how I am, don’t you ever forget that. You’re so goddamn important to me.”
You smiled down at him, following him as he stood up from the floor, his eyes never leaving yours as he towered over you. He brought his hands to rest on your hips, pulling you into him to rest his forehead on yours.
“So how do you feel now, hmm? It was so hot watching you, I could see when you really saw it in the mirror. My girl finally is realizing just how much of a goddess she is.”
A new wave of blush crept up your cheeks, you knew he was right. It was hard to admit that this worked as well as it did. You had a new wave of confidence in yourself, knowing you could take what you want, what you deserved. Joe had a way of making you feel confident in yourself, you just needed a reminder.
“I don’t want it to go to my head or anything, but there was something about having you on your knees for me. Having someone as strong and powerful as you at my mercy was a major confidence boost. I’d want you with less clothes next time though.”
“Baby, I’m always at your mercy, you're my absolute weakness. I’ll be on my knees for you anytime, anywhere just say the word. You were a good girl and listened to me though and good girls get rewarded. Get on the bed, I’m not done showing you yet.”

This pile also gives me Vasalisa vibes ( fairytale) . The fire of your heart burns greater than the fire around you're the tree of life and you're the disaster of it and rebuilding of it . Omg why am I writing this one so whimsically maybe that's how you feel very whimsical very witchy .
November :
You're gonna feel really cute first of all , drenched in kisses and you're gonna party Charli xcx style, your worries are lighter your heart is bigger tbh , attending concerts can be something you do or you might start liking a new artist I hear conan gray , suki Waterhouse tbh . A month of crafts as well , creating new things like bags and cards . You seem to be on a break from work in this month or just your work is comparatively easier so you're in a state of rest .
December :
You're in worship mode in December totally offerings and affirmations are your mantra . Your year was a total up down coaster man (*>∀<*) like it had a balance of everything fun and sadness but what remained consistent is the love , romantically this year will be better for you because you have learnt from your past relationship not to depend too much on your partner and it indeed is helping you keep this one and also your mental health . Take care love love to you.

A love story told through voicelines (I)
C/W: slow-burn, Diluc x gn!reader, reader works at the flower shop in Mondstadt
Note: Part 2 is hereeee! This was so fun to write
—
(You) About Diluc
The name rings a bell… Oh, is he that one bartender at Angel’s Share with red hair? He owns it?! Hah, no wonder my friends keep dragging me along when he’s behind the bar—they’re setting me up with him! Very intimidating gaze, though. He doesn’t seem like much of a talker. Wait, don’t tell him about what my friends are planning—or what I said about him being intimidating!
(Diluc) About you
I have seen them a couple of times at Angel’s Share, but I never pay much heed. A customer is a customer; they make friends if they want. Besides, they always come with their friends, and even if I wanted to, I couldn’t talk to them properly. Would I like them as a partner? Hm… You know where my duties lie. I’m afraid I would be too busy for relationships. Also, some rivaling company or the abyss could bring them harm, so it’s best if I keep a distance.
(You) About Diluc: The first approach
I just ran into him, actually! He was on his way to the tavern, and I was placing down some boxes for Flora. Finally got the courage to greet him, too. … ‘Master Diluc’? No, I just greeted him by his last name. Oh shoot—was I supposed to address him as Master?!
(Diluc) About you: The first approach
It felt refreshing to hear someone address me as something other than ‘Master Diluc’. Their approach gave me the impression that they’re very friendly. It’s not everyday you get to meet someone whose enthusiasm is that contagious. I found myself smiling the whole afternoon.
(You) About Diluc: Idle chitchat
Last night, I had a drink at the tavern—without my friends—and coincidentally, Diluc was manning the bar! Yeah, we had some idle chitchat here and there, but he didn’t really talk much about himself. He’s a stoic man. In an oddly charming way, not gonna lie. Eh… it might just be me, though.
(Diluc) About You: Idle chitchat
They came to Angel’s Share last night alone. I don’t usually strike up conversations, but they seemed approachable. Something about their energy made the atmosphere lighter. I answered a few of their questions, though I kept it brief. I didn’t mean to come across as distant—it’s just habit. Still, it was pleasant. Oddly pleasant.
(You) About Diluc: A little closer
I ran into him again while helping Flora, and this time, he actually stayed for a chat. Well, ‘chat’ may be a bit of a stretch—he’s still reserved, but he asked how the flowers were selling. I tried asking him about the tavern, but his answers were so short! You’d think he was guarding state secrets. But, like… I could tell he was trying, you know? For someone as closed-off as him, it counts as an effort. I’m kinda intrigued to see where this could go.
(Diluc) About you: A little closer
I encountered them near the flower shop again. They seem to have a knack for brightening the mood, even in simple conversations. I caught myself lingering longer than usual—something about them makes the world feel so… uncomplicated. I wonder when I might see them again.
(You) About Diluc: Getting to know
So get this—I was reading a book on one of the benches near the flower shop, and he actually approached me this time! He mentioned that the book I was reading was one of his favorites, and we got to more chatting. For ten minutes—TEN! That might just be a personal record for him. We talked about more books we liked, then our hobbies and interests… I think I made him laugh at some point. Erm—more of a… smirk, actually. But hey, when it comes to a guy like Diluc, I’ll take what counts.
(Diluc) About you: Getting to know
I saw them reading a favorite book of mine recently. We talked for a while—longer than I anticipated, but it felt worth it. We got to know each other a bit, and I caught myself speaking more to them than I do around others. They smile a lot, don’t they? It’s so contagious, I couldn’t help but let one slip. I don’t think they noticed, though.
(You) About Diluc: An invitation
Hahaha! I invited him to Good Hunter with me for lunch! It’s not like I was planning to eat with him, just a casual suggestion. He was leaving the tavern, I happened to pass by, and it just slipped out. I thought for sure he would decline, but… he said yes. Okay, I know it really doesn’t sound like a big deal, but this is Diluc. He’s the type of person who doesn’t go out with people that much. We did have a good time, though. I found out we share similar values and perspectives on Mondstadt and stuff like that. For once, he looked more relaxed… I think he needed that. And honestly? So did I.
(Diluc) About you: An invitation
Yes, I almost declined, as I normally would. My duties often leave little room for anything else, and I’m not one to easily let my guard down. But… there was something in their voice, something that made me reconsider. I agreed, though I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Sharing a meal, in a place so simple, with no distractions… It felt beautifully unfamiliar, and for once, I didn’t have to think about my responsibilities. I’m glad I went. Would I go again? If the opportunity comes.

a/n: it hurt me to write this chapter 😭
You weren’t particularly close to your father. His life revolved around his work—the family business he hadn’t wanted but had accepted out of obligation when your uncles, San and Jongho’s fathers, stepped aside, unwilling to subject their sons to the challenges of running a conglomerate.
Sometimes you wished he had done the same too.
He was often away, traveling to meet clients or locked in endless board meetings. He wasn’t the type of man to swoop in with comforting words or a warm embrace. Instead, he listened without interrupting, nodded without judgment, and spoke only when he felt it was necessary. Despite the distance between you, his steady presence had a way of making you feel oddly secure.
And maybe that was why, as you paced the length of your penthouse, you found yourself dialing his number. Mingi followed your every move, his small body glued to your side. He kept glancing up at you, occasionally tripping you with how close he was.
“Come on, pick up, pick up…” You muttered to yourself. Your pacing carried you in a loop—through the kitchen, into the dining room you barely used, and then into the living room. Then, you wandered back into the kitchen, your footsteps quickening with every unanswered ring.
“Y/N?”
Your shoulders sagged in relief, and you stopped pacing, planting yourself in the middle of the kitchen as Mingi bumped up against your ankles.
“Dad!”
“Is everything alright?”
You hesitated, your fingers tightening slightly around the phone. How were you supposed to explain everything that had transpired the last few weeks without sounding unhinged?
What were you even supposed to say? Hi, Dad. Quick question: Are you sure the woman you’re married to is actually my mother?
Your parents’ marriage had always seemed like a curious thing to you. It was a product of an arrangement. Yet, over the years, your father’s quiet gestures of affection seemed to keep your mother content, even happy.
Surely, he couldn’t have had an affair.
The idea felt absurd, but then again, you’d always felt like a stranger in your own home, an outsider looking in at a family that didn’t quite seem to know where you fit.
“I-I need to talk to you about something. I didn’t want to call mom because…you know how she gets.”
Your mother had a flair for theatrics, a tendency to turn even the smallest inconvenience into a grand production. If you’d called her instead, the situation would have escalated before you even finished explaining.
“What’s going on?”
“I…” You faltered for a moment, running a hand through your hair before continuing your train of thought.
“There’s this woman who I think has been stalking me. A friend of mine was dogsitting Maro when she approached him at the park.” Your voice dropped slightly, recounting your conversation with Yeosang.
“She recognized Maro…and referred to me as her daughter.”
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and you took a moment to crouch down and stroke Mingi’s fur as he leaned into your side.
“I don’t know who she is,” you admitted softly. “But…something about her felt wrong. And it’s been bothering me ever since.”
“Did she hurt you or Maro?”
“No, but she tried to abduct a little girl a few weeks ago. We stopped her and she fled.”
“Y/N, I need you to listen to me carefully,” he said, his tone suddenly firm.
You froze mid-step, his words rooting you in place. “Okay,” you said hesitantly, your voice small.
“I need you to stay put,” he continued. “Don’t do anything or go anywhere, especially not alone. I’m going to call the lawyers and have them review the court order and police files.”
“Court order?” you repeated, confusion rising in your chest. “What are you talking about?”
“Call either San or Jongho,” he said instead, his tone softening just enough to sound like a plea.
“Let them know I’ve asked one of them to stay with you until we sort this out.”
“Dad, what court order?” you pressed, gripping the phone tighter as your heart raced.
Mingi, sensing your distress, pawed at you insistently, his soft whines urging you to sit down. But you couldn’t move, couldn’t tear your focus away from the ominous edge in your father’s voice.
“There was an incident when you were three. If she is who I think she is, she’s someone we dealt with a long time ago.”
“Who?”
“Your former nanny,” he admitted, his voice steady but grim. “She tried to take you,” he said bluntly.
“At first, she seemed fine. Kind, attentive, everything you’d want for a child. But things started escalating. Your mother noticed something was off right after she lost her own daughter in an accident. She’d grown too attached to you. Too possessive. We let her go, but before we could take any legal action, she attempted to abduct you.”
“She tried to kidnap me?”
“She managed to evade security at first. It was like any other day. But by the time we realized what was happening, she was already on her way to the airport with you.”
The room spun, and before you realized it, you had sunk to the floor. The color drained from your face as the weight of the revelation hit you. Mingi froze, his small body going still as he struggled to process the gravity of what he was hearing.
He let out a soft whine, curling closer to you. He hadn’t fully understood your fears, the reasons behind your walls, the way panic sometimes overtook you without warning.
Now, as a dog, powerless to do anything but sit beside you, the weight of guilt felt almost unbearable.
“We caught her in time,” he continued quickly, his tone shifting, as if trying to calm you.
“She didn’t make it far. Security intercepted her at the gate just as she was preparing to board a flight. We filed charges immediately and she was arrested.”
“But?” you scoffed. “Your money and influence couldn’t keep her behind bars?”
“We didn’t think she’d ever get out, Y/N. The charges were serious, and the evidence was solid. At the time, we were assured she’d be locked away for decades.” He hesitated, and for a moment, you thought you heard his voice waver.
“You were so young. We didn’t want to burden you with something you wouldn’t even remember. We thought we could protect you from it all.”
“So much for power,” you muttered bitterly, rubbing your temples. “She seems to be escalating. She’s openly trying to kidnap children now. Who knows what else she’s capable of?”
Your father’s sigh was heavy. “Which is why you’re not to go anywhere alone, Y/N. Not until this is resolved.”
“Dad—”
“I’ll be increasing the security presence around the penthouse as well. And before you ask, yes, I'll be coordinating with Mingi’s family to ensure their resources are aligned with ours.”
The mention of your in-laws made your stomach twist. They were probably unaware of the situation, but it wouldn’t stay that way for long. You could already imagine your mother-in-law spinning the story to her social circle about her damsel of a daughter-in-law and how her poor son was unable to save her. The thought of being the centerpiece of their gossip left you feeling exposed and vulnerable.
“Make sure there’s a secure presence at the hospital too,” you said, cutting in before the conversation could linger on your in-laws.
“She might try something there.”
Your father arched a brow. He knew you didn’t particularly like being married to Mingi—he wasn’t blind to the strain in your relationship. Truthfully, he regretted agreeing to the arrangement in the first place. He’d witnessed firsthand the coldness with which Mingi had treated you, most notably the way he’d rebuffed your birthday gathering that first year of marriage. It had been a bitter reminder that not all alliances were worth the price they came with.
But upon hearing your request, it made him realize that you had always been kinder, and more compassionate than those around him. While he had always seemed distant, caught up in his own world of business and power, moments like these reminded him that you had grown into someone he was proud of. Someone who cared, even for those who didn’t deserve it.
“Is there anything else that you need?” he asked, his voice softer now.
“No,” you replied, shaking your head slightly. “But I’m not going to live in fear forever. She doesn’t get to have that power over me.”
“I don’t expect you to. I just want you to be safe.”
The line disconnected and you set the phone down, your hand lingering on it for a moment before turning back to Mingi. You felt a surge of emotions–anger, frustration, fear, and a flicker of determination.
But when you saw him sitting patiently on the floor, watching you intently with his big eyes, fluffy ears, and wrinkled nose, everything inside you softened. The weight of the world seemed to melt away in that moment, and your heart ached with affection.
“You’re so cute, I can’t stand it,” you squealed, the intensity of your emotions spilling out in a completely unexpected way.
Without thinking, you scooped him into your arms, pressing your face against his soft fur as you swayed back and forth with him. Mingi melted into your embrace, his small body going limp as he relished your warmth.
“I just want to squish you!” you exclaimed, giggling as you kissed him between the ears.
Mingi let out a soft, rumbling growl, not out of annoyance but because he didn’t know how else to respond to the flood of emotions washing over him. If only you knew how deeply he wanted to protect you, not just as a dog, but as the man who had failed to see your worth for far too long.
“I should probably text the group chat,” you murmured, reaching for your phone while balancing Mingi securely in your other arm.
[Y/N]: My dad said I can have a sleepover
[Grumpy Bear]: fuck yeah
[Mountain Mayne]: Can Kira come too?”
[Y/N]: Only Kira, you stay home
⋆
Mingi found himself scowling, scooped up in San’s arms, as the four of you lounged in your living room, covered in mountains of blankets, pillows, and snacks. He wasn’t sure how he’d ended up in this situation, but he was definitely not thrilled when your cousins and San’s fiancée came crashing into the penthouse after you summoned them with a single text.
“Why isn’t the dog distribution system working for us?” San asked, holding Mingi out toward Kira like he was some kind of offering. Mingi shot him a glare, but the effect was somewhat lost given his tiny size and the way his fur poofed up around his face.
“Because we already have three cats at home,” she replied, chomping on a piece of cheese without looking up from her phone. San sighed dramatically, pulling Mingi back to cradle him like a baby.
“Don’t worry, Maro, I'll save you from your owner and her evil husband.”
Mingi bristled, his fur puffing out even more. He barked indignantly, but it only made San laugh as he nuzzled Mingi’s fluffy face.
“Yeah, if the evil husband ever wakes up,” Jongho snorted from under his fortress of blankets.
The room fell silent, save for the faint sound of Howl’s Moving Castle playing in the background. Mingi froze, his small body tensing in San’s arms. His ears flattened against his head as Jongho’s words echoed in his mind.
Sure, he hadn’t been a perfect husband. He wasn’t even sure he’d been a good one. But…evil?
“Oh come on, that’s not fair,” you replied, albeit with an edge to your tone.
“What?” Jongho raised his hands defensively, his expression a mix of guilt and awkwardness.
“It was a joke. I mean, come on, the guy cheated, publicly humiliated you… you can do so much better, Y/N.”
“I know a good divorce lawyer,” Kira added, waving her phone as if the solution to your problems was just a call away.
The truth of their words clawed at Mingi, a painful reminder of everything he’d done wrong. He wanted to bark, to growl, to defend himself, but what could he even say? That they were wrong? They weren’t. Not completely.
You inhaled sharply, your lips pressing into a thin line as you plopped down next to San. He glanced at you, but you ignored it, your focus entirely on the small dog curled stiffly in his arms.
“I get it,” you said finally, your voice clipped as you reached out and gently plucked Maro out of your cousin’s arms. He went still in your hold, his small body tensing as he waited for what you’d say next.
“Mingi has his own problems, but right now, he doesn’t have anyone in his corner. I don’t know what will happen when he wakes up, but it’s not fair to say things like that when he’s not here.” You cradled him closer, your touch instinctively protective as if shielding him from their judgement.
Jongho exhaled loudly, his earlier confidence deflating as he sank deeper into the pile of blankets. “Fair point,” he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you. That was out of line.”
Mingi stayed silent, nestled in your arms, his mind racing. You could have left him at the hospital. You could have walked away, started over. Hell, maybe you should have. You could have even entertained the thought of dating Seonghwa, or Yeosang, or anyone else. Anyone but him.
But you hadn’t.
You spent countless nights in that hospital room, talking to him, even when he couldn’t say anything back. You stood up for him, even now, when he didn’t deserve it.
Mingi could picture it so clearly: someone else making you laugh, someone else holding your hand, someone else seeing the best parts of you.
Maybe they were right, he thought bitterly. Maybe you really could do better.
But even if that was true, he couldn’t bring himself to accept it. Not when there was still a sliver of hope that he might wake up, make amends, and find a way back to being the man you once believed he could be.
“Well, I’m going to bed,” you announced, rising to your feet with an exaggerated stretch. “It’s way past bedtime.”
“I’ll stay here,” San declared. “In case your stalker tries anything.”
“Good for you, honey,” Kira patted his shoulder. “But I’m going into one of the guest rooms because that’s what sane people do.”
“You’ve got this covered,” Jongho muttered sleepily, dragging himself out of the blanket pile. He stretched with a loud yawn and shuffled toward his room without even waiting for a reply.
“We’re supposed to be in this together,” San grumbled, throwing a pillow halfheartedly at Jongho’s retreating figure. It missed by a wide margin, flopping harmlessly to the floor.
As you slipped into your room, the shift was immediate. The air turned quiet and soft, a reprieve from the playful chaos outside. You closed the door gently and set Mingi down on the bed, his fluffy body sinking into the plush comforter.
He sat perfectly still, watching you move around the room. You pulled back the covers on your side of the bed and fluffed the pillows before finally settling in.
Patting the space beside you, you called softly, “Time for bed.”
He padded over, his small paws making barely a sound as he climbed onto the blankets and curled up near your side. When he tucked his nose into the crook of your neck, you giggled.
“I love you. Night night, puppy,” you whispered, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
As you drifted off to sleep, Mingi stayed awake, tracing the gentle slope of your nose to the soft curve of your lips. It all seemed so fleeting, like everything could slip away in the blink of an eye.
He sighed softly, rolling onto his back and then to his side again, unable to find a comfortable position. San’s snores rumbled faintly through the door, a reminder of the others nearby. But Mingi’s mind was too restless to relax.
His mind drifted to his last task: What did it mean to offer you happiness without expecting anything in return?
Isn’t it about giving you what you wanted? Protecting you, making you laugh, or ensuring you were never alone? But the more he thought about it, the more complicated it became.
How could he possibly give you that when so much of his past had been spent hurting you?
He remembered the times he’d chosen his own pride over your feelings, the cruel words he couldn’t take back, the moments he’d walked away when you needed him most. He had made you feel small, like you were the one who didn’t belong, the one who wasn’t good enough for him, all while he continued living his life while you were left to pick up the pieces of your own.
“You’re home all the time, don’t you have any friends?”
Your response had been blunt, cold, almost dismissive.
“No, they’re dead.”
That was all you said to him. No explanation, just a heavy finality that left him speechless. He didn’t know what it meant then, but now, looking back, it felt like a confession, a glimpse into a part of you that was buried beneath the walls you’d built to protect yourself after losing Hongjoong.
Kim Hongjoong, the ghost of a man who had never left your heart. The man who had held a place there long before Mingi had even existed in your life. And in that moment, jealousy crept in. It was sharp, bitter, the thought of losing you to a ghost threatening to consume him.
He hated that Hongjoong would always carry that piece of your heart he couldn’t touch, a piece that belonged to someone who had once been your everything. Because in this moment, Mingi, more than anything, coveted that place in your heart.
No matter how much he tried to remind himself that he was here, that he was now, it didn’t quell the sense of inadequacy growing within him. He couldn’t love you with the expectation of erasing your past or taking what wasn’t his to have.
If he was to prove himself, to earn his humanity, it couldn’t be about him. It had to come from a place of selflessness. He had to love you for who you were, even if it meant living in the shadow of a ghost. Even if it meant never being able to fully claim a place in your heart.
Even if it might mean accepting that some parts of you could never belong to him, no matter how much he wanted them to. And as painful as that truth was, Mingi knew it was the only way forward.
He nestled into your side, his fluffy form fitting snugly against you as he placed a paw against your nose. The steady rise and fall of your chest soothed him, reminding him that he was yours, even if it was only as Maro.
“I’m so bored,” you groaned, hanging your head over the back of the couch dramatically. The ceiling wasn’t particularly interesting, but you were so desperate for stimulation that you started counting the corners of the crown molding.
Kira glanced over from the kitchen, her brow furrowing in concentration as she whisked a bowl of batter with a bit too much vigor.
“You should try being useful. Come help me bake.”
“I’d rather be anywhere but here,” you muttered, sliding further down the couch until you were almost horizontal. “I’ve seen every corner of this penthouse.”
“Drama queen,” she said lightly. “You’re safe here. That’s what matters. And besides, I thought you’d enjoy the time off.”
“Time off from what?”
“I don’t know? The hospital? The back and forth must be draining.”
You hummed in response, though that was all you could muster. Draining wasn’t quite the word for it. It was true the days spent at the hospital had a way of blurring together, but you didn’t mind staying there. In some strange way, it felt right.
At the hospital, you had a routine. You’d arrive in the evening, lay on the sofa and stare out into nothingness. Sometimes you’d read, talk to him about trivial things, or just sit quietly, the hum of the monitors filling the silence. It wasn’t much, but it was something. A way to show him that he wasn’t alone, even if he couldn’t respond.
Because deep down, you knew he needed someone on his side.
It wasn’t easy to admit, even to yourself, but a part of you still held out hope for reconciliation. Not the fairytale kind, where everything magically resolved and all wounds were healed, but something quieter. A mutual understanding, perhaps. A moment where he’d open up, even just a little, and let you see the person behind all the walls he’d built.
You knew he was hurting. You’d always known, even when he tried to mask it with anger or indifference. His actions, the coldness, the distance, the biting remarks, were all symptoms of something deeper.
But there was another part of you, a quieter voice that you couldn’t ignore. The part that braced for no change at all. That prepared for the possibility that when, if, he woke up, he’d still be the same person he was before. That he’d still look at you like you were the problem, the obstacle, the thing standing in the way of his happiness.
That part of you longed for freedom.
You’d spent so much time tangled up in his chaos, in his pain, that you’d almost forgotten what it felt like to just...be.
Maybe, if and when he woke up, he’d be willing to part ways. And maybe that would be for the best.
“I ran out of eggs!”
You blinked, momentarily disoriented. “What?”
“Eggs!” she repeated, holding up the empty carton. “I can’t believe I forgot them. I’m halfway through making this cake, and now I have to stop everything to run to the store.”
“I’ll go with you!” you said quickly, standing up from the couch so fast you nearly tripped over your own feet.
Kira froze, narrowing her eyes at you. “You know you’re not supposed to leave.”
“And you’re supposed to be at the courthouse, but here you are, baking a cake for a man.”
“First of all, it’s called paid time off,” she replied, narrowing her eyes further. “Secondly, San’s stroke game is top tier.”
“Oh my God, stop!” you cut her off, throwing your hands up.
“I do not want to hear about your sex life with my cousin. He used to eat mud as a kid.”
Kira rolled her eyes, crossing her arms as she leaned against the counter. “Anyway,” she continued, “your dad would absolutely kill me. He gave strict orders to keep you here. And unlike you, I actually follow them.”
“Come on, Kira,” you pleaded. Your eyes landed on Maro, lounging nearby. You scooped him up in one swift motion, holding him up like a fluffy shield.
“Even Maro thinks it’s a good idea!”
Mingi tilted his head, his dark eyes widening as he gave Kira his best impression of a sad, helpless puppy.
“Look at him. He’s begging you.”
Kira groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. “This is ridiculous.”
“It’s a quick trip. Five minutes, tops,” you promised, your tone bordering on desperate. “I won’t go anywhere, I’ll stay by your side the entire time!”
She sighed, clearly wavering. “Fine.”
The ding of the store’s bell announced your arrival, and the comforting smell of fried food from the deli counter made your stomach grumble. Kira grabbed a basket, striding purposefully toward the back where the eggs were stashed.
“Eggs,” she said firmly, shooting you a warning glance over her shoulder.
“Got it,” you replied, though your eyes immediately wandered to the chip aisle.
The small store was quiet, almost unnervingly still, and you couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching you. As you followed Kira, your gaze flicked around the store—a habit you’d picked up recently without fully realizing it. Your shoulders tensed, the faint prickling sensation at the back of your neck making you feel exposed. It was probably nothing, you told yourself, trying to brush it off.
Kira tossed a carton of eggs into the basket and turned to you with a raised brow. “Anything else?”
Her voice startled you, pulling you out of your thoughts. You blinked, momentarily disoriented, before grabbing a bag of chips from a nearby rack and a pack of chocolate-covered pretzels from the next shelf over.
“Alright, ready!” you chirped.
The cashier rang up your items without much fuss, and soon you were both on your way. But as the store door clicked shut behind you, that sense of discomfort returned. You glanced over your shoulder, your movements slow and deliberate, as if any sudden motion might draw unwanted attention.
Your eyes darted to the empty street ahead, scanning the familiar buildings and darkened windows. It looked deserted, but the nagging feeling told you otherwise.
“You okay?” Kira asked, noticing your hesitation.
“Yeah,” you said quickly, the word tumbling out a little too fast. You forced a smile, hoping it looked convincing.
You told yourself it was nothing, a stray thought feeding your paranoia. But as you turned the corner toward your apartment, your worst fears materialized. A shadow detached itself from the side of a building ahead, stepping into the weak glow of the nearest streetlamp. Your stomach dropped, and your chest tightened when you noticed the glint of the knife in hand.
“Y/N.”
Your stalker. Your former nanny.
Kira froze beside you, her posture immediately tense. Her free hand twitched toward her phone, but her other gripped your arm tightly, as if anchoring you in place. You shook her off with a small, almost imperceptible gesture, your lips moving silently to form the words: Call San.
Her eyes widened slightly, but she didn’t argue. She stepped back, her movements careful as she pulled her phone from her pocket.
“Hey…mom,” you said, your voice trembling but just steady enough to hold its own. The lie tasted bitter on your tongue, but it was all you could think of to buy yourself time.
The woman’s head tilted, her expression softening into something disturbingly tender. “Oh, my sweet Y/N,” she cooed, taking a step closer.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long,” she continued. “You’ve grown so much. You’re even more beautiful than I imagined.”
The delusion in her voice sent ice down your spine. She didn’t just see you as a person. You were a possession—something she believed she owned.
“It’s been a while,” you said cautiously, keeping your tone light, though your hands trembled at your sides.
“What…what are you doing here?”
“I’ve come to take you home!”
“Right…home,” you repeated, your stomach churning at the word. You took a step back, careful to keep your movements slow and nonthreatening.
“Why don’t we go for a walk and catch up? I just ate, and walking helps with digestion. Did you know that?”
The woman blinked, her head tilting further to the side. For a moment, she seemed caught off guard by the suggestion.
“A walk?” she echoed, suspicion flickering across her face before fading into hesitant curiosity. “You want to spend time with me?”
You nodded quickly, forcing a smile. “O-Of course! I mean, it’s been so long, right? We have so much to talk about.”
Behind you, Kira moved as quietly as possible, her phone pressed to her ear as she whispered into the receiver. The nanny walked ahead, still clutching the knife tightly in her hand as your figures disappeared into the darkness.
⋆
Mingi paced restlessly around the penthouse, his claws clicking softly against the floor. His tail flicked with agitation, and his ears twitched, straining to catch a sound that wasn’t there. Something felt wrong—deeply, inexplicably wrong. You were only supposed to be gone with Kira for five minutes.
But those five minutes had turned to an hour.
The door to the penthouse slammed open, and Jongho burst inside, his phone pressed tightly to his ear. His face was pale and his brow furrowed deeply as he listened to the voice on the other end.
“Yes, I’m here now,” he said hurriedly, his tone clipped and tense. Mingi froze mid-step, his ears flicking forward as Jongho’s words sank in. Looking for you? His heart dropped. Did something happen to you?
“I’ll stay here in case she comes back. Yes, San and Kira are out looking for her along with law enforcement.”
Mingi’s nose twitched, catching the faint remnants of Jongho’s scent. There was something else mingled with it—the sharp tang of fear. A shiver ran down his spine. Jongho wasn’t scared for himself; he was scared for you.
In his frenzy, Jongho forgot to shut the door completely. It clicked behind him, but the latch didn’t catch, leaving it slightly ajar as he retreated further into the penthouse.
Mingi knew you were most definitely scared, but were relying on your wit to keep your abductor as distracted for as long as possible. But it could only go so far. You needed help. You needed him.
He darted after Jongho, letting out a short, sharp yip that made him turn with a frown.
“Maro?” Jongho’s brow furrowed in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
Mingi barked again, more insistent this time. He jumped in place, then headbutted Jongho's leg with surprising force, urging him toward the hallway. When Jongho still didn’t move, Mingi let out a sharp yip, trotted to the door, and paused to bark over his shoulder. Come on, follow me!
Out in the hallway, Mingi’s incessant barking continued until Jongho relented, reaching out to push the call button for the elevator.
Jongho stared down at the little dog, confusion etched across his face. “Why are you so interested in the elevator?”
Mingi stayed silent in an attempt to get this timing right. Then, as soon as the doors began to close, he darted forward, squeezing inside at the last second. Jongho blinked, momentarily stunned, before the realization hit him.
“I just…got played by a dog.”
Outside, Mingi paused just long enough to pick up your scent on the breeze. Darting forward, Mingi weaved through the bustling crowd, his small frame slipping unnoticed between legs and around obstacles. His nose twitched, staying locked on the trail, as he took off into the night with the promise of finding you
“I’m coming,” he whispered under his breath, to keep himself moving. His legs burned, and his lungs ached, but he didn’t stop.
Your nanny stood a few feet away, as you guided her to a nearby park. Her body taut with a kind of unnatural stillness. Her expression was deceptively calm, but her eyes gleamed with something unhinged.
“How have you been? You’re married right? I see the ring on your finger.”
Your fingers twitched involuntarily, brushing against the cool platinum of your wedding band. It felt heavier than usual under her scrutinizing gaze. “I am,” you replied, keeping your tone calm and steady despite the way your stomach churned.
“Almost three years now.”
“Three years? That’s wonderful. What’s your husband like? Oh, I’d love to meet him!”
“Unfortunately, he’s on a business trip overseas. B-But when he comes back, maybe we could have dinner.”
Her smile stretched impossibly wider, her eyes glinting with a strange light as she clasped her hands together. “Dinner? Oh, how wonderful! Just like old times!”
“Y-Yeah, just like old times. You, me, um, Mingi and…dad.”
“Dad?” she echoed, her voice hollow and strained. “Your father?”
The moment the word "Dad" left your lips, her expression darkened and her grip on the knife tightened, turning her knuckles white as the blade trembled in her hand.
“No! Not him! Not while he’s married to that bitch!” she spat venomously.
“You know, his wife didn’t love you like I did! She didn’t raise you! She wasn’t there for you!”
Her face twisted with fury, her voice rising as she screamed. “She left you behind! Do you remember that? Do you? She didn’t care about you! She abandoned you—threw you away like trash! But me? I stayed. I cared. I’m your family!”
Mingi’s ears perked up at the sound of that voice. It was her—the same woman who had tried to abduct Yena weeks ago. A low growl rumbled in his throat, but he forced his down, shifting his focus to the sights and sounds around him. In the distance, he caught fragments of Kira’s raised voice, as she argued with the District Attorney.
“She should never have been released!”
“Her delusions weren’t just untreated, they were escalating. And instead of following protocol, the facility discharged her prematurely without an appropriate plan in place.”
Mingi’s ears flicked toward the sound as Kira’s voice grew louder, her pace quickening.
“The ruling was explicit! The family was to be notified of any changes in her care plan. But no one was! And now she’s out here, putting Y/N in danger!”
The echoes of Kira’s tirade faded into the background as Mingi tuned everything else out, his focus narrowing to a single goal. Find you. Protect you.
She won’t hurt you. I won’t let her, he promised.
You swallowed hard, your mind racing as you searched for the right words to diffuse the situation. “You’re right,” you said gently, taking a slow step forward as your eyes stayed locked on the blade.
“I should’ve done more to stay in touch. You were important to me, and I didn’t show that the way I should have.”
Mingi crept closer, staying low and moving with careful precision. His small frame blended with the shadows cast by the trees, his paws silent against the ground. His ears were pinned back as he watched the stalker. For a split second, her grip on the knife faltered. Her expression softened, dimming into something more fragile, almost childlike.
But then her face contorted again. “You’re lying!” she screamed, taking a step toward you.
“You don’t mean that! You’re just saying that to make me go away.” She took a step closer, the knife jerking with her erratic movements.
His nose twitched, catching the faint scent of your fear mingled with her unbridled rage. Her emotions were spiraling out of control, and with every step she took, the gap between you and danger grew smaller.
“I’m not,” you said firmly, taking a careful step backwards.
“I mean it. You were there for me when I needed someone, and I want to be here for you now. But I can’t do that if you don’t trust me.”
She hesitated, the knife wavering slightly in her grip. Her breath came in short, shallow gasps, and for a fleeting moment, it seemed like your words might be getting through.
Mingi inched closer, his eyes tracking her trembling hand, and his body tensed, ready to spring.
“You’ll leave me again! Just like her!”
That was his cue. With a burst of speed, Mingi darted forward, his small body a blur of motion. His sharp teeth clamped down on her ankle, eliciting a startled cry. She stumbled, but her fury only intensified. She lashed out blindly, her hand sweeping through the air, the knife flashing dangerously.
“Maro!” you screamed.
Without hesitation, you lunged forward, your heart pounding as you reached for her wrist. Your grip was firm, fueled by adrenaline and sheer determination as you kicked her back, sending her stumbling slightly. With a swift motion, you scooped Mingi into your arms, cradling him against your chest.
As she steadied herself, her arm swung wildly and you raised your arm to shield Mingi. The knife sliced through your forearm leaving streaks of blood, but you didn’t let go, tightened your hold on him as you focused on the woman in front of you.
“I’m sorry you lost your daughter,” you began, your tone water as you tried to bite back the pain radiating down your arm.
“I can’t imagine the pain you’ve been carrying, or how much it’s changed you. I’m sure whatever happened broke you in ways no one can see. But trying to replace her won’t bring her back.”
You could see the tears threatening to spill over, but they did nothing to soften her. If anything, they seemed to fuel her anger. Her grip on the knife tightened as she took a shaky step toward you. Your heart pounded and Mingi whimpered softly, pressing his small body closer to yours, and you instinctively held him tighter, bracing yourself.
“Police! Drop your weapon!”
“Y/N!” your dad’s voice rang out. You turned your head just enough to see him running toward you, San and Kira close behind, flanked by a group of police officers.
The stalker froze, her head snapping toward the source of the commotion. Her grip on the knife faltered, and for a split second, you thought she might comply. But then her face contorted with fury once more, and she tightened her hold, her body tensing as if preparing to lunge.
“Stay back!” she screamed, her voice shrill and panicked.
The officers fanned out, their weapons drawn, their voices calm but firm as they repeated their commands. “Drop the knife! Put it down now!”
Your dad reached you first, his hand gripping your shoulder as he stepped slightly in front of you. “Are you hurt?” he asked urgently, his sharp eyes taking in the blood streaking down your arm and the puppy trembling in your hold.
“She cut me,” you admitted, glancing at the blood streaking down your arm. “It’s not deep, but—” You shifted Mingi slightly in your hold, cradling him closer.
Mingi let out a soft, sleepy sigh, his head resting heavily against your chest as your dad checked you over. His breaths came slower now, each one softer than the last. His little paws twitched as though he were trying to cling to you.
His mind wandered, a hazy string of thoughts pulling him along. He couldn’t wait to go home, to finally feel safe and warm. He imagined curling up in your lap, nuzzling into your arms while you stroked his fur. He thought about Hetmon and all the running around they’re going to do at the park.
Oh, and snacks, he thought sleepily. Lots of snacks. His little tail gave a faint twitch at the thought, but even that felt like too much effort now.
Just a nap, he thought. I’ll rest for a bit, then we’ll go home. We’ll be okay.
When Mingi woke, the air around him was...different. It wasn’t the plush sheets of your bed or the soft pillow he’d grown accustomed to sleeping on. Instead, he found himself in a small, cozy basket lined with a soft cushion, placed near a gently crackling fireplace.
He blinked, his vision adjusting to the soft light streaming through the windows of a small cottage. The space was intimate, with wooden walls lined with shelves overflowing with books, plants, and stacks of parchment. The scent of tea and ink hung in the air, faint but familiar, tugging at something deep in Mingi’s memory.
The atmosphere was comforting, nostalgic even, though Mingi couldn’t quite place why.
“Ah,” the man said, his lips curling into a soft smile. “You’re finally awake.”
Mingi’s ears perked up as he turned toward the sound. A man crouched next to him–his features were sharp but his expression was soft and kind. Mingi tilted his head, his ears twitching as he studied the man. He’d never met him before, but his scent was unmistakable.
It was audacious and bold, much like the jazz notes he remembered sitting on the piano back at home.

love your writting! could you perhaps write something about jayce x reader becoming parents? xoxo
REAL LOVE BABY
SUMMARY: jayce talis x wife reader // months after jayce and you tried hard for a baby, you realized your period was late, so you took a pregnancy test. you figured out you were pregnant and told jayce. when the time came and you gave birth, he was absolutely soft for his child.
AUTHORS NOTE: hi! i think this ask is so cute so i’m glad you requested it! i’m so glad you love my writing too. sorry i took a long time to respond to this ask, i have been very busy with work. ALSO THANK U GUYS FOR 500 FOLLOWERS IM SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF U! this is 0.8k words
WARNINGS: not proofread, pregnancy
after months of deciding whether or not the two of you were going to make a child, you finally had a night to yourselves. the night was heated, romantic, and fun for both of you, hoping to add a new member to your family. it left your legs wobbly and your body sore, having to be taken care of by jayce for a few days.
but months passed since the wonderful night, feeling butterflies in your stomach whenever you remember it. however, you lately noticed you’ve been late for your period. very late, in fact. you haven’t had to take a pill for the cramps in three months, but you had been throwing up.
so you took a trip to the pharmacy, believing you could be pregnant. you grabbed a couple of pregnancy tests and drove straight back home, hoping jayce wouldn’t see you. after all, you wanted it to be a surprise if you were pregnant. you did as the instructions said to do to see if the pregnancy test was working.
all of them turned out positive.
your heart warmed with love, figuring out you were finally pregnant, a child would have your and the one you love’s genetics and traits. it was amazing to think about, bringing you to tears.
jayce was on his way to the kitchen when he heard sobs from the bathroom, assuming you were in there. his eyebrows furrowed with worry. he stood up next to the door and asked, “honey, is everything okay?” and the sobs became quieter, mostly hearing sniffles. he fidgeted with the drawstrings of his sweatpants, nervously waiting for an answer.
the door clicked, and you looked up at him with teary eyes, catching a glimpse of his loving but worried expression. his sleepy eyes gazed into yours, and he wiped a falling tear from your face, affectionately rubbing your cheek. you held his hand on your cheek and mumbled as you softly smiled, “i’m pregnant, jayce.”
his eyes widened, and his body began to shake anxiously. he choked up, “are— are you sure? you’re a hundred percent sure, right?” he looked around the bathroom and spotted three pregnancy tests on the counter, causing him to smile and let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding in. you nodded, laughing as he wrapped his large arms around your waist and running into you for a hug. you stumbled back and ran your hand through his hair.
you finally realized and stated, “we’re gonna be parents, weird to think about, huh?” and he smirked then nodded, tears forming in his eyes. he began to look at you more lovingly than ever before, knowing you were going to be the mother of his child. the rest of the day was spent holding each other in your arms, and little pats on your tummy from jayce.
the next couple of months were filled with checkups from the doctor to make sure your baby was healthy and safe. the bump on your belly began to grow more and more, and jayce’s love never faltered for even a second. he brought you everything you asked for and even took a few weeks off to spend time with you when you gave birth.
he was a real man.
but when he held your baby for the first time, he was so nervous, and shaking as he didn’t want to drop the baby. she was so fragile, so small, her hand could barely wrap around his finger. he never wanted to let her go, but eventually had to give her back to the nurses, lip quivering as she was carried away for the night.
but despite the new addition to the family, he never forgot about you, his wife. the way he looked at your child made your body heat up, as you felt immense, neverending love for the both of them. when the two of you went home with your child, sometimes the baby would wake you up in the night. as you were about to stand up out of bed, he would place a hand on your shoulder and tell you to rest. you had gone through a life-changing moment, you deserved to take some time off and let your body and mind heal.
but you could never hide the smile on your face when you would wake up in the morning to jayce’s tanned body, asleep. he would often be lying on the couch with his baby, a hand over her tiny back, knowing babies felt closer when there was skin-to-skin contact. he became so domestic and a family man in only a couple of months, and would always brag to his coworkers about how amazing you and his child are.
you and his child were all he needed.

Yoichi Isagi x Reader
Content: You love your sweet and kind boyfriend, but sometimes you like the crazy version of him. What are you willing to do to get the monster inside of him out to play?
______________________________
You and Yoichi have conflicting and busy schedules so when you two finally get a day off together, you take full advantage of it. It's usually spent going on dates and quality time, but you really couldn't go out today due to the weather warnings of a blizzard.
So, you decided to stay in and watch a movie. You picked a random romance film, which turned out to be quite good. However, you didn’t expect the intimate scenes—or the way they’d leave you feeling so aroused.
You were curled up beside Yoichi, just like always when the two of you sat close. Your heart raced as the couple on screen shared their passionate moments. Even after the movie ended, the lingering frustration between your legs remained, and Yoichi’s hand resting casually on your hip didn't help.
You silently prayed that he wouldn’t figure it out. Somehow, he always seemed to know. Even before joining Blue Lock, he had a knack for reading your thoughts, but after coming back, his ability to read you had only sharpened.
You swallowed hard, feeling your boyfriend shift behind you as he stretched.
"That was a good movie, what'd ya think?" He asked, tilting his head towards you.
"Was good." You said quickly, knowing that if you spoke more than three words, your tone would give away how you were feeling.
Yoichi didn't find your response too odd, as you have often given vague answers in the past when asked about this sorta stuff.
But it was your body language that betrayed you.
"You okay?" He asked, his eyes showing concern. It made your heart melt how gentle and caring he was with you. So sweet and kind, it was the Yoichi you fell in love with your first year of High School.
"Mhm" you responded, making the incredibly stupid decision of hiding your face in his chest. You thought this would throw him off your trail. He wouldn't be able to read you anymore and would just assume you needed some cuddles.
But the flaw you didn't consider was how much worse this would make your problem.
Being this close to him made it so much harder to contain the lustful thoughts that clouded your head. You also didn't consider how shifting yourself to fit into his chest would cause his hand to fall from your hip to above your thigh. This wasn't good.
All was quiet for a moment, though. You thought you had beaten him, you felt a little proud of yourself too. All you could hear was the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
But then you heard him whisper in your ear, "I know you need me right now."
A shiver ran down your spine.
You looked up at him bewildered, a smirk playing on his lips. Before you could open your mouth to ask how, he already answered.
"Tense, thighs pressed shut, not to mention that look on your face and how fast your heart is racing. I'm a little offended you thought I wouldn't notice."
You look at his happy little grin, like he's accomplished something great. All you could do is roll your eyes, feeling extremely embarrassed and flustered.
"So?" Is all you could manage to muster.
"Wanna do something about it?" Yoichi murmurs in your ear, looking effortlessly sexy with his dark hair in his eyes and his tongue poking in his cheek.
"Hm, maybe" You tease, your shy smile becoming something more mischievous.
He can’t help but lean in and capture your lips in a soft kiss, holding you so tenderly like you'd break under his touch. So gentle. And you loved it, you loved how careful he was with you.
But right now, you didn't want gentle.
You wanted crazy, rough, and borderline feral Isagi. The one the world sees on the soccer field. There was only one way to get that Yoichi, and it was to deprive him of control.
You stop your boyfriends roaming hands, constraining them in place. You could tell it caught him off guard. He knew he was what you wanted, he couldn't have possibly assumed wrong, and you even gave in to the kiss. Why were you doing the opposite of what you want? Why weren't you letting him touch you?
"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked so innocently, baby blue eyes clouded with confusion. It almost made you feel bad. Your poor baby.
You pulled away from the kiss, staring into those eyes. There was no fire in them yet. You needed to do more to get him riled up.
You go back in for a kiss but this time on his neck. You shift a little, lifting yourself up onto his lap. You leave sloppy kisses along his jawline, neck, and collarbone while lazily grinding against him.
He opens his mouth a little, pretty little noises escaping past his soft lips. And then you just stopped. Now he was even more confused. Why were you teasing him? Was it just for fun to torture him like this?
That's when you saw it, the spark. A slight frown also began tugging at his lips. He was beginning to grow frustrated. You needed one more push to replace your sweet, kind boyfriend with the domineering, best striker in the world Yoichi Isagi.
You could tell he was giving you some grace, he wanted to believe you weren't doing it on purpose. But you needed him to realize what it was you wanted. He was always reading your mind and figuring out things you didn't want him to. Let's see if he can figure out something you do want him to.
As your final move, you completely pulled yourself off of him. You admit, it pained you to leave him all hot and bothered like that. You stood up and got ready to casually walk away, thinking of what excuse you were going to give.
"Just where do you think you're going?" He erupted, a hand landing on your waist, pulling you back towards him. You collapsed underneath him on the bed, his hands pinning you to the mattress.
"The kitchen?" You say, trying to act like you didn't know what you were doing.
"Try again." He commands. His face was mere inches away from yours again. There was no way you were going to leave him like this, with a problem only you could solve. You could see the little flames starting to appear.
You couldn't help the smug grin that broke out of your lips. "Why don't you find out, egoist?"
It's like you flipped a switch inside of him and now his mind was racing with thoughts. Thoughts of fucking you to oblivion and thoughts of what the hell you were playing at.
“what’s the matter?” you lay waiting, panting beneath him. "Can't figure it out?"
He looked at you, in the same way he gets when he’s piecing himself together during a match. It happens when you don’t let him in and he can't get what he wants.
This is where everything changes. You finally got to the little monster inside of him.
“don’t push, brat” he breathes, his voice low and daring. It enough to make you squeeze your thighs together again, trying to relieve the frustration. But your own selfishness leads to your loss as it was all that was needed for Yoichi to figure it out.
"Oh" he smirks against your lips, trailing wet kisses down your neck, mimicking your earlier actions on him. "I get it."
Your breath hitches once he gets to the sensitive part of your collarbone, his lips sucking on the skin that would leave pretty little purple marks in the morning.
"You want me when I'm mean, isn't that right, princess?" He finishes off by biting the skin there. You yelp, looking down to see your skin between his teeth.
You don't say anything, knowing it that it would annoy him more.
"Answer me." He growled against your skin. “you know how this usually ends for you.”
You don't care, you want the consequences. You instead giggle, watching Yoichi go crazy from the way your treating him. But, he loves a game. He knows he'll make you give in, he just has to devour you at your own game. Tease you back.
He has you trapped underneath him, pressing his knee in-between your legs ever so slightly, putting the smallest amount of pressure. You let out a slight noise and it was music to Yoichi's ears. He wanted more, give him more.
His kisses go down from your neck to your chest, lifting your shirt up to lazily lick the area around your breasts. He was marking you like crazy too, hickeys forming everywhere his lips have touched.
His hands go down, playing with the waistband of your panties. You know you're soaked at this point.
You feel embarrassed when Yoichi dips his hands into your underwear and immediately gets coated in your slick. The smirk he gives when he pulls his hands out to make you look.
"Look at how needy you are for me." He spoke cockily before plunging his finger inside of you. You let out a moan of relief and it sent fireworks down Yoichi's body. You feel his fingers play against your folds, starting to fuck you faster and harder.
Just when you're about to cum, he stops. You jolt, whining in frustration at the lack of release. You pout, giving him a look that conveyed what he was doing was unfair.
"Whats the matter? Isn't this what you wanted?" Yoichi grabs your hips and pulls you towards him. You feel his hardness against you as he goes on to kiss you, sucking on your lower lip.
"Ichi, need you," You whine pathetically, looking up at him through your tear-stained lashes. Your boyfriend scoffs at this, wondering how you could be so cruel to him earlier and then go on acting like you were the victim in the situation.
"What do you need from me?" he asks, already anticipating your answer, knowing it will strike just the right chords in his brain. The sweet satisfaction of hearing your desires, him being the only one in the world that could please them.
"All of you, n-need all of you in me. Wanna be stuffed full of you." You cry out, growing impatient.
"I want you to look at what I do to you, m'kay?" He makes out between breathy whispers. You nod in response, watching as he pulls back and a rush of a cold air hits from the lack of his warm body against yours.
Suddenly, you feel the soft flesh of his cock against your core and the soft slam of him entering you. You mewl into his touch, his right hand going up to hold your hip in place and the other on your breast.
It feels live heaven and earth colliding as he repeatedly fucks you into the mattress. All sorts of curses fall out your mouth as you melt like putty, your mind dissolving.
You look away, your head turning to the side as you try to take him in. Yoichi snaps, his hand grabbing your chin to face it downward, forcing you to watch how his cock slides in and out of your needy, wet cunt.
"So disobedient, when'd you become such a brat?" He growled through his teeth. "Huh? What happened to my sweet little Y/n."
"ichi, please...” you gasp with the heavy slam of his hips against yours. You let out a cry of satisfaction, loving the unhinged way he was looking at you. It was like a high you could only get when with each other.
“No,” He denies you. “why’d you gotta mess with me like that, huh?”
You start to see stars as he handles you like a rag doll, his grip sure to leave bruises. This is exactly what you wanted. This was better than the movie scenes from earlier.
"G-gonna come" You whine, feeling the heat in your stomach gather into a ball.
"Oh really?" He mocked, leaning back to angle himself deeper. "'Think you deserve to? Who said you could."
"Ichi" You pleaded, bleary eyed. Yoichi could practically die at your cuteness, which is what made it so much better when you begged.
"Teasing me just to make me mad?—fuck—could've just asked nicely. Y'know how badly you got me wrapped around your finger."
"Don't stop, please. I'm sorry, s-so sorry" you placed a hand on his chest and the other on his back, clawing your nails down.
"Oh? You're sorry?" He mocked, knowing full well the extent he'd go to mess with even the person he loved most in the world. "I don't think you are"
Without warning, Yoichi flips you over so that you're lying on your stomach. He has your face stuffed into a pillow and ass up, enjoying the way your whole body shakes each time he slams into you. He leaves harsh kisses all down your back.
With one last thrust into you, your body erupts in flames as your orgasm takes over. You swear you saw the heavens as your eyes rolled back and your nails dug into your boyfriend's skin. Obscenities fill the room as you come undone. Pain and exhaustion shoots through your legs once you're done and you realize how much Yoichi has really worked you.
Your pretty boyfriend isn't far behind as he comes after, filling you to the brim with his milky seed. He holds your hips down onto him, giving a few sloppy last thrusts before collapsing beside you.
"Too cute," Your boyfriend coos, stars sparkling in his eyes. He laughs at how absolutely dazed you look right now, returning back to the normal sweet Yoichi Isagi you knew and loved. You just stare at him, trying to figure out how he could just do that. Was that even the same person?
"I meant it when I said you could've just asked, by the way." He smiles, wrapping a hand around your waist as he pulls you into a cuddle.
"Oh, I just was- I didn't know how to ask." You admit, feelings a little dumb. I mean, how do you ask your boyfriend you want him to go feral and man-handle you without raising some concerns?
"That's okay, I can always figure it out on my own anyway. You're my favorite book to read." He snuggles into you, placing his face into the crook of your neck. He could never get enough of you. He didn't mind reading in between the lines for you, but God did he love it when you told him what wanted directly.
"Okay, I'll tell you next time." You breathed, leaning into his embrace, both your skins sticky with sweat.
"Next time..." He blushed, thinking about it. No, seriously, how was this the same guy? Was he actually growing flustered thinking about it right after he just fucked you dumb?
"Yes, next time, ichi." You smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. It was a vanilla-ish contrast to the events of today.
"I love you so much." He whispered, adoring the way you doted on him.
"I love you more."
"But don't tease me like that again, next time I won't be so nice." He growled, and you swear you almost died on the spot.
"That just makes me more inclined to." You laugh, looking up into his cerulean eyes that glowed with a green fire.
"What am I going to do with you?" He shakes his head, fingers climbing up your ribs.
"I have some ideas..." You propose. Today was going to be a long day. And you had no interruptions to stop you.

"True, we have not met him...or has anyone even seen what he looks like or even know of his-"
"I know a few have known or seen him but that's it. That man is a dangerous one indeed. Almost like a demon..." one Vice general said shuddering at the thought with others muttering more.
"But as our leader said, as long as we don't bother the other..were fine." Another demon general said with others agreeing fully. They rather not get in Sukuna's business or end up on his hit list indeed.
"But still, judging from what he does and of his followers, the assassin followers that work under him, maybe if we-"
"What are you trying to say here?" A few looks to a female demon general but she was quiet looking at the other.
"Nothing out of cause just......" he looks to the side. "A question; what if the assassins were something we can learn about. I know he has a few but most of his followers are close allies. They never leave his side. He's always getting info from them involving his spots all over his area. I mean, what if we try to..I don't know reason with him and we can form some alliance with Sukuna..."
"Then you want the great Oda to a target?"
"What?! NO! I mean...I figure we can try to get as many peace trendies around. I mean, what about that one clan that is able to use blood cursed jutsu. Their daughter is-"
"We can't and....remember what happened before? Thanks to some idiot.." she hissed seeing one Vice demon look down ashamed, "Our ties with them are on thin ice. All because he tried to get her over thrown, she is not on good terms with us right now. Saying she would have us cursed thanks to their plan. Right now, she is refusing to hear anyone out but Oda." she said.
"Then....what about the schools-"
"Already on good terms. What are you trying to ask here? This is just as crazy as your other idea of getting over seas help from America and you know that won't work.."
"It's just a thought! The curses we are hunting are growing. I'm just suggesting we can try finding more help. That's all I'm asking.."
"And planning on getting us killed." she said seeing some now muttering more. "We don't mess with Sukuna's ways. We all agreed on that and our leader did too! You already forgot about that!?"
"I did not! That one time with the blood witch was a accident. An accident! I'm sure in time we can tend to that sever. And maybe we can figure out some way to make it so Sukuna can't harm us-"
"Yeah, as long as we don't anger him! Are you trying to get us killed!"
That's when some of the Vice generals and demon generals stood up arguing loudly now trying to figure something out. Even with some who sat down worried about this getting intense.
"Even so, we can't tell what that Ryomen could do. What his followers can do. What if he thinks of trying something or coming here himself-"
"He won't. Sukuna won't go in someone's area unless he has a reason. Knowing him, most of his assassins travel only to deliver messages or a threat warning. Right now, he's been kept in his own area while taking care of what is needed."
More mutters were heard bout he knew some of the assassins were dangerous but most very skilled. "But..would it be crazy if one of those assassins came to us? What if they-"
"That's why we are not allowed to mess with them. As long as we don't upset Sukuna, we are fine. We won't end up on his target list. I mean, he's a fair man isn't he?" The vice general said.
".....That's if we don't do something to break that. Right now he is where he is in Sendai...then we are fine. We shouldn't do anything to upset a Yakuza/mafia owner. He means that given his power." Their was more muttering heard now.

just a stranger | t. fushiguro x f!reader
summary : honestly what did he expect was going to happen? you were a complete stranger to him three months ago. it’s not your fault he was an idiot for thinking any sane person would agree to getting married to anyone that soon.
genre : modern au, 18+, marriage of convenience, angst, fluff, smut,
warnings : MDNI, fem!reader, dilf toji, hitman!toji, stalking, mentions of masturbation, more to be added as I keep writing
prologue wc : 2.3k
masterlist
He feels like a damn pig staring at his current search history which consists of, single successful women in my area, and single young successful women in my city, lastly hot single young rich successful women in my city. That’s when he sees your name and photo at the top of a list of today's most powerful women in their twenties.
Toji blames Shiu for planting the idea in his head. What you need is to be under the protection of someone powerful. That way whoever left that threat will think again. He likes to blame Shiu even though it was Toji’s mind that jumped to the conclusion that a marriage was the only way.
So he clicks on your wikipedia page to learn more about you since you were age appropriate, hot, and ridiculously wealthy. He reads that you currently own one hospital, two in state law firms, three out of state law firms, four kids sports parks, and five playgrounds. Toji also reads that you are about to make it six playgrounds as the sixth is expected to have a grand opening in a month from today.
At first he doesn’t understand how you can have that amount of money and success at such a young age, that is until he sees that you’re a defense attorney. A really damn good one too. Toji digs further and clicks on a link showing him the long list of clients you have defended. Majority of it were a bunch of clan heads as well as some obnoxiously rich business men. You don’t take any pro bono cases, which explains how you afford to own everything. Toji actually knows all of the people you have defended from his line of work. Shit, you’ve even defended his boss, Sukuna, when all odds were against him. You would actually be perfect for him because this just means you are most likely protected by both sides. Since you are the only attorney that represents his kind of people. He decides in an instant that he needs to marry you, so that his son can fall under your umbrella of protection.
Toji Fushiguro begins to tail you for three weeks, and in those weeks he learns things about you.
First, is that you are for sure single, always ordering for one when getting take out or dining alone. Second, is that you are always working, you spend ten hours in the office and then continue working when you get home. Third, you do not have a life outside of work, you just work, eat, bathe, and sleep. Fourth, you enjoy spending the little amount of free time you have watching trashy tv while giving yourself a fresh manicure and a pedicure always with a full wine glass. Fifth, you hated socializing and kept all interactions minimal and brief unless it was work related. Sixth, you have a favorite place for everything, and you are a regular for each said place. You like routines and you stick to them. Seventh, you owned your house which wasn’t flashy like he had expected, it was an updated modern three bedroom one story home with a two car garage. Lastly, eighth, which is his favorite fact, is that within your modern home you pleasure yourself at least four times a week.
He was able to see it all with the help of your wall length windows and his binoculars. Poor Toji just couldn’t help himself, but to pull out his hard cock to join you in the fun all the way in his car down the street every single time. He only became a widow a year ago and being a single father he didn’t have any time to do anything outside of work and Megumi. With all the information he gathered from you, he finally felt that it was time to approach you and put his plan into action.
Toji decides to keep it simple and slow with his approach with you, not wanting to blow his chance with you. He’s a gentleman of course, so his first interaction with you is opening the door to your favorite coffee shop for you. “Thank you”. Is all you say to him with a small nod of your head and a gentle smile directed to Toji.
Your voice took him by surprise especially having heard you talk on the phone with colleagues and a few of your taped cases that were online. Your voice was always firm and overflowing with confidence, nothing like how you just sounded. Almost shy just now with a voice barely above a whisper. He stood behind you in line and began to realize just how much shorter you actually were despite wearing your tallest high heels. Barely reaching under his chin.
He listened to you order your usual obnoxiously long complicated drink. You paid, then stepped aside to allow whoever was behind to order which happened to be Toji. “I’ll just take a hot green tea to go.” He hands the employee extra cash, “keep the change kid.” He stood a few steps behind you and watched as you went through your emails, deleting some, flagging others, and reading a few.
Both the drinks were ready at the same time so Toji lets you grab your drink first by a second or two before he grabs his and rushes to hold the door open for you again. It isn’t until you both make it outside that Toji goes to engage in a conversation with you before you part ways.
He clears his throat to gain your attention. You don’t notice him at all and mindlessly adjust your scarf. “Excuse me-” You cut him off with your palm held up to pause him not even sparing him a glance.
“No sorry, I don't have any spare change.”
You turn and begin to walk toward your building as your heels click against the concrete and Toji can’t help but to smirk not expecting to be having to put in more effort in getting you to give in to him.
The green eyed man tries again the next day, on your commute home. He sits next to you on the bench as you wait for the subway to arrive. Toji tries to speak to you but you end up pulling out giant headphones from your purse and putting them on. He can't help but to chuckle with a shake of his head at just how unapproachable you actually are and your efforts to keep it that way. It was extremely clear to him now that you were single by choice, not allowing him or even other men to approach you.
That's how the rest of the week goes. You promptly put a stop to all of Toji’s advances without sparing him much of a glance his way. His favorite rejection from you was when he approached you in a pastry shop as you were scrolling on your phone and so Toji asked “can I get your number?” To which you responded without skipping a beat, “I don’t have a phone.” You didn’t even look at him while rejecting him. Because of you Toji realizes that he has absolutely no game when it comes to picking up women. All he really had going for him was his height, face, and god-like build. That was all he had going for him and that was all most women needed to give him their attention. He tells himself that he’s giving up and going to look for another potential bride if you continue to not acknowledge him. He’s desperate and willing to accept eye contact at this point as a sign to keep pursuing you.
He arrives at the grand opening of your sixth playground, Megumi clinging to his leg. Toji spots you quickly as you do interviews with the kids about the park. You look different than your usual appearance, long gone are your usual heels and slacks. Today you're in some straight jeans, a baggy sweatshirt, your hair neatly styled like always, but the expression on you is soft and kind. You smile encouragingly to the small kids.
“Hey brat, go talk to that lady over there.” Toji orders Megumi with a shake of his leg to get his son to release him. The two year old releases his fathers leg but just stares at the lady his dad pointed at before his attention drifts to the playground watching two other kids his age running and playing. Toji goes to squat to get to his son’s level but Megumi waddles away towards the two kids. He was only two years old so he couldn’t really blame his son for not being able to follow directions.
Toji lets out a frustrated groan before walking towards an empty bench to get a better view of you entertaining some random kids. You’re playful and happy interacting with them, some of the parents even coming up to you to give their appreciation for the new playground in their neighborhood.
It isn’t until he hears the familiar cries of his boy that his worried eyes leave your form to search for his son. Said son is in tears as he looks at the spot Toji previously stood, great, Megumi probably assumes that he was abandoned. “Dumb kid”. Toji relaxes with a scoff and is about to go get his crybaby of a son until Megumi turns and waddles over to you. Your face immediately fills with concern at the sight of the heartbroken boy. Maybe my son wasn’t completely useless. Toji smirks as Megumi holds his arms up to you seeking comfort and you act quick by bending down and lifting him into your embrace. He can’t make out what you ask Megumi and he definitely can’t hear what his son responds with but Toji takes it as his time to step in and make a move.
The closer he gets to you and his son he can hear that your soothing words are actually comforting Megumi. You rub his back as he rests his head against your shoulder and his tiny arms wrapped around your neck. Lucky bastard. “It’s okay baby, we’ll find your daddy, don’t worry.” You rock him gently in your arms as you look around the playground hoping to spot his father. You were a natural at this, the complete opposite of what Toji expects from someone so cold and out of reach.
Toji finally makes it in your line of sight and your movements falter, you physically grasp Megumi in a tighter hold, and shift your body so that your shoulder would shield the boy. As if you were attempting to protect him. “You trying to steal my boy?” Toji teases with a smirk stopping a few feet away not wanting to scare you into running away with his son. He isn’t an idiot, he knows that his appearance is intimidating.
Your eyes narrow at Toji before looking down at the boy in your arms who has stopped crying a while ago and is now playing with your necklace. “He’s your son?” Your cold tone has returned and your eyes flutter back to look at Toji. “He came to me crying looking for you.” Your body goes back to a more relaxed state and you turn to completely face Toji, he watches with a smirk as your eyes slowly trail up his form. “Sweetheart, is this your daddy?” Your gentle soft tone seems to only be reserved for kids, Toji notes.
Megumi lifts his head up to look over at Toji and he lets out a small sigh of relief. “Yea, my daddy.” However, sweet little Megumi goes back to resting his head against your chest.
Toji lets out a deep chuckle. “Here let me grab him, your arms are probably getting tired.” Toji steps closer to you to grab his son but again your body reacts instinctively as you tighten your hold on the small boy and subtly lean away.
“N-no! It’s okay, I’m okay holding him. I’ll let you know if I get tired.”
He couldn’t help but to smirk at the sight. So all it took for you to speak to him was his little brat. “You have any kids?” Toji asks even though he already knew the answer, standing right next to you. He observes you and notes that your small smile that is directed to Megumi falls.
With a shake of your head you look up at Toji. “No I don’t. How old is he?” Toji is slightly taken back at you actually giving him the time of day. There was a big chance that you still would have ignored him even while holding his kid like he expected.
“He’s two, just had a birthday recently. Honestly, it was sad since it was just us two, now I’m trying to take him to more parks so that he can make friends to hopefully make the next birthday not so lonely for him.” He easily lies to your face and your eyes soften a tiny bit.
Your eyes land on his chest as Toji crosses his arms, he grins glad that you were a tiny bit attracted to him. Makes things slightly easier. “Oh, what happened to his mother? Nevermind that’s personal, you don’t need to answer that I’m sorry!” You rush out slightly embarrassed.
He shrugs. “She passed away about a year ago.”
Your lips drop to a sympathetic smile looking down at Megumi who is slowly falling asleep. “I’m sorry, that must have been tough for you both. If you ever need help with him, please let me know.” Your tone dripped with kindness that Toji couldn’t help but to take advantage of. He chuckled with a glance down at the concrete before turning to look into your soft eyes before the scarred corner of his lips tilted up into a smirk.
“Ima need your number for that, doll.”

Loved the fanfic of Sub!Giselle! 💜
Can you make a part two author nim, but make it longer?? Pleasee??
But no pressure! Take your time and have a break author nim!! Love youu 💜🫶
i didn't expect so many ppl to see my work omg...🫣but ofc!! i think this might be the only sub idol thing i write bc it took so long to get out of that mindset myself😭😭hope u like this ♡
part 1 for anyone who missed it, but it's also a standalone so it doesn't matter which order u read it in <3
tags: this is actually a very cute fic if you ignore the sex, sub gigi, bratty gigi, sexually frustrated gigi, sex(🤩), pussy eating (both recieving), face sitting, gigi has pierced nipples, mommy kink, ass slapping (gigi recieving)
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Living with your girlfriend was a test of patience you were constantly failing. It wasn’t just that she was bratty—it was the artistry behind her annoyance. She made being difficult seem like a sport, and you were her unlucky opponent. Gigi loved you very much, but sometimes you couldn't help but think she did this to rile you up on purpose. The reason for this? You would find out soon enough <33
"Can you not breathe so loud?" she asked one morning, flipping through her phone at the breakfast table.
You paused mid-chew, glaring at her. "I’m eating cereal."
"And I’m eating in peace—or I was," she snapped, taking a delicate sip of her iced Americano, which she’d made you buy because "I just can't function without caffeine."
She left dishes in the sink like a declaration of war. “I’m giving you a chance to prove your cleaning skills,” she said with a smirk when you confronted her, her lacy bra strap slipping down her pale shoulder. It was almost like she did that just for your attention...
“Giselle, you’re literally standing next to the dishwasher.”
“Yeah, but my nails are wet,” she whined, holding up perfectly dry, manicured fingers. “You’re welcome for the visual.”
And don’t get started on her shopping habits. Packages arrived daily, piling up at the door like a shrine to her online shopping addiction. One time, she ordered a $200 sweater and wore it ONCE.
“Why didn’t you return it if you didn’t like it?” you asked, baffled.
“Because the hassle is too much. I dont have time for that. Im a busy woman,” she purred, draped across the couch, in an inviting manner.
If you so much as hinted at getting frustrated, she doubled down. “Aww, is living with me too much for you?” she teased one night, stealing the last slice of pizza you’d specifically saved for yourself. “Poor thing.”
But the worst was how she always needed the last word. Arguments with her were unwinnable, because no matter what, she’d throw out a smug, “You’re just mad that I’m fucking right,” and leave the room, huffing.
Some days you wondered why you hadn’t packed your bags yet. But then she’d do something annoyingly cute, like poke her head into your room at 3 a.m., blanket wrapped around her shoulders.
“I can’t sleep. Wanna watch something?”
You sighed, and begrudgingly made space for your girlfriend. God, she knew how to make you stop being mad at her so easily, and all she had to do was flash a smile in your direction.
She removed her blanket to reveal a silky lingerie set, in a colour matching her beautiful hair. She crawled over to sit on your lap, her sultry gaze meeting your surprised one. "Put a show on already," she whined, "accidentally" grinding on you.
You realised just then, as you grabbed the remote that Giselle was frustrated because you didn't fuck her for 2 days (a new record for your little slut). Oh, you didn't realise how much fun u were gonna have with her <33
An hour passed, and you forgot just how annoying your girlfriend was. Only 15 minutes were spent watching the movie, the other 45 spent arguing with Aeri over the smallest stuff. How you sat, how your room looked, how bad the movie you chose was, and you've just about had it with her.
Your hand snaked up her back, as she yapped, and tightened, before flipping her over so that she was face down into the mattress. A small yelp was heard, but you didn't care. This brat was gonna pay.
Youre both in the middle of the bed, and you dragged Aeri by her hair so that she rested her head on the pillow instead. She moaned at the sharp pain in her scalp, the sound so lewd and pornographic. "Baby, if you wanted to get fucked so bad, just fucking ask, okay? Don't piss me off, I'm not a patient person," you snarled at her.
Her pussy clenched at your tone of voice, back arching into you. Within minutes, you had her ass up and her hands tied behind her back, with one of your hands roughly gripping her hip, holding her down, the other pushing her head down into the pillow as you thrust the dark strap inside of her dripping cunt. You slapped her ass a few times, the flesh jiggling, her guttural moans escaping her mouth. The muffled cries and moans sounded like music to your ears, bringing you both closer to your edge, but you weren't gonna let Giselle off. No, not yet.
You removed the strap and threw it aside, and she groaned loudly at the action. "What the fuck are you- a-ah.." You slapped her before she could even complain, and told her that if she doesn't make you cum in the next 5 minutes, she's not gonna cum at all tonight. The threat of Aeri's pleasure being taken away had her scrambling, her lips connecting to you clit, and the moans you were letting out had her encouraged.
"F- fuck... that's a good g-girl..." You gasped, pushing Gigi's head into your pussy. Hearing your praises got her dripping again, and she sighed into your cunt, the action bringing you closer and closer to your climax.
Your orgasm hit you like a freight train, and you screamed out loud, thighs closing like an oyster around your beloved pearl, Aeri, who whined as she tasted your sweet essence, pleased to have made her girl happy. "My turn, please, mommy? I've been s'good to you..." You obliged, already losing your anger.
"Come here, Gigi," you softly murmured, and she obeyed, eagerly pushing you down, her pussy hovering above your face. You wrapped your hands around her plush thighs, pulling her so that her full body weight rested on your face. She immediately started grinding, and you plunged your tongue into her, swirling inside of her warm, pussy.
While sucking on her clit, your reached up to twist her pierced nipples, and Giselle threw back her head, squealing, reaching her high withing seconds, squirting all over your face. "M-mommy.... h-hah..." Aeri's body twitched, and she slumped beside you, completely fucked out.
Shakily, you got up and started to run water in the bath, before coming back to nuzzle into her neck. Giselle reciprocated, her arms wrapping around you, holding you closer.
Although she could be too much, you wouldn't trade her for the world.

Too Easily - K. Bakugo - 2 -
Based off this Blurb and here's Part One
It was too easy, every part of it. How you met him, how you interacted with him, how quickly he got used to you. Every part of it was too easy, too good to be true. But he asked you anyway, he wanted you anyway. You figured it was just another thing in life that came easily. He showed you another way of living, the thrill of romance. The increased heartbeat that came when next to a crush. The a flutter in your stomach when he called your name. The buzz of warmth that covered your entire being after just one kiss. CW: swearing and i think that's it? Word Count: 4k
---
"You know, bringing me dinner each night proves nothing," you murmured, only flashing your eyes away from the mountain of paperwork you had for a moment to eye him.
Bakugo brushed you off with a grunt, setting down a portion of food in front of you before moving to grab an extra chair to sit adjacent to you. You watched his forearm flex when he whipped the chair around so he could sit on it backwards.
You pushed away the stack of paperwork to give him your attention, you wanted to make this difficult for him, not impossible. "So what have you brought me tonight?" you picked up your utensils and peered over the bowl that he placed in front of you.
"Spicy curry, its my favorite," he shuffled his seat closer so he could reach to take the cover off your meal and his.
"Oh- how spicy?" you gave him an unsure look.
"Mine's spicy as fuck, yours?" he shrugged, "I made mild but you can add more if you want."
You nodded, silently acknowledging the fact that he got your serving entirely separate. The taste of the first bite had you humming, "Where did you get this? Is this from that new restaurant down the street? Kirishima said it's amazing."
He scrunched his face, "Ha? I made this. No restaurant can cook like I can."
"You cook?" you had to reevaluate your entire opinion now.
"I've been cooking each meal," he stared at you blankly.
Each meal was insane. He brought you a new dish every night for the past three weeks. You thought he was just spending a shit ton of money, but no, he was putting thought into each dish. He already went out of the way to meet you towards the end of your shift at work to feed you, but he cooked it all? "You're an amazing cook," you decided to say, humming with another bite of the food.
" 'course I am," he grumbled, but you saw his chest puff out in pride. He was easy to read with that, you could tell when his ego flared.
"Besides when you add too much spice," you mumbled.
"I like spicy food, deal with it," he huffed out, rolling his eyes when you added extra spicy to your dish, "I made it mild as hell for you."
"Thanks, wouldn't have a tongue if you had it your way," you joked, kicking at his shoe when he gave you a suggestive look.
You've been learning a lot about him recently. He made sure to learn your schedule so he could see you often. You were busy with university and then had to work at the company after class until 8pm, so he always came in around 7. It was sweet. He worked hard to make you aware of his feelings, but you were still iffy. Everything has been very public between the two of you, you'd know once it settled down.
But Bakugo still tried to whoo you regardless, it was interesting to see his public image verses how he treated you. Showed him in a new light. You know how similar he was to his dad, but the public and his classmate would say he is only like his mom. He was sharing the small quirks about him, like tonight with his favorite food and that he cooked. It was nice, you wanted to know more, you couldn''t help analyzing everything.
It's why you noticed him flipping his phone over when a call rang through. Eyeing his reaction, how he just moved on from it, only noticing your look when he finally looked away from his food. "What?"
"Who called?" you tried to ask as if you didn't care, scrapping the last of your food out of the bowl.
"A dumbass spark plug," he answered, pushing his bowl slightly away from him and crossing his arms onto the back of the chair in front of him. "Jealous?"
"No, just concerning that a pro hero is ditching calls," you shrugged off.
"He just wants me to go to this stupid hang out," he defends.
"You should go then," you push.
"We could go somewhere, you were talking about grabbing a new book from that shop off the near my patrol route, right?"
You looked at him weirdly, you mentioned that over a month ago. Blabbing on about a sale you wanted to catch they had each year, he seemed like he ignored it but apparently not.
"I meant for you to go with your friends- you hardly see them," you leaned back into your chair to relax and get your face further from the annoying paperwork on your desk.
"The sale is ending ain't it? I know your dumbass didn't grab it yet either," he pushed himself up to stand, grabbing his coat and nodding his head to the door, "Let's go."
You'd want to say you went out of him pushing you to go, but you were mesmerized at how much he picked up from what you said. So you scrambled to follow after him, helping pick up everything before walking down to his car to go to the bookstore. They were just about to close before you came in a bought the book you so heavily praised, well Bakugo bought it. He refused to let you.
"Happy?" he stuffed his hands in his pocket as he looked at you, walking back towards his car.
"You really didn't have to buy it, you already drove and everything," you huffed.
"I buy stuff to help my credit score, nothin' insane," he grumbled after you mentioned it for the millionth time.
"Sure," you laughed, "Then help me boost my credit score and let me buy you a coffee or something soon."
"Asking me out, books?" he smirked at you.
You rolled your eyes, "If that's what you want to call it sure."
His steps faltered for a moment as he fumbled for his car keys to unlock the door for you, opening it before you as well. "That offer work for tonight?"
"Isn't your bedtime at 8:30? It's already 9, old man," you joked, sitting back down in his car.
He response with a fake laugh and shut your door gently before getting into his. About to respond before his phone rang through, and he answered it, "What?" he barked out.
"Sorry- I know you had your phone off but Denki is-" you heard a loud cry cut Kirishima's voice off, "He's plastered. Sero left with someone and Mina is trying to leave with me."
"I don't know how that means an emergency," Bakugo grumbles, "I'm busy."
Kirishima sighed, "Dude please, Mina is actually trying to leave with me, you know how long I've been waiting for this."
Bakugo huffed, his shoulders slumping as he gave in, "What do you want me to do?"
"Thank god, just come to the bar and take Denki home, please, I owe you so much," Kirishima rushed in relief.
"Yeah," Bakugo ended the call without much less, cutting out the end of Kirishima's millionth thank you. "You want me to drop you off before?"
You shook your head, "Nah, the bar is close right? Don't need to waste time to do that."
He side-eyed you, "Yeah."
It was easy to tell he was annoyed. With how he hardly said a word during the drive, and just walked with you inside the bar. Making a beeline to the obnoxious group of his friends. You see why Kirishima called for help. Mina was obviously flirting with him but also noticeably annoyed at Kaminari, who was drunk as hell.
"Thank you so muc-" Kirishima started his rant again before he locked eyes with you, "I didn't know you guys were hanging out-" he looked back at Bakugo, "I'm sorry-"
"It's fine," Bakugo cut him off.
Kaminari wailed drunkenly, "Even Bakugo has his girlfriend here, what the fuck."
"What is dumbass on about?" Bakugo ignored his friend directly, even though he was face down in a drink.
"His recent girlfriend left him, again," Mina explained, "She said it was for real this time and blocked him."
Bakugo just rolled his eyes, "Just help me get this dumbass in my car."
"Oh nah, I don't wanna third wheel again," Kaminari kicked away, flopping in the booth to avoid Kirishima grabbing him.
He looked miserable, hair a mess, face just tired, and his energy was entirely different to how he always acted. You also took him as a playboy, but if this is how he acted with a breakup? You doubted it.
"Stop fucking flailing your arms-"
"I'm not getting in a car with you and your girlfriend," he kicked Bakugo's hand away, like a child, "Leave me to drown in my sorrows."
Bakugo grumbled, "She's not my fuking girlfriend, it's a PR relationship, now shut the fuck up and get to my car," he hissed.
You crossed your arms uncomfortably, his friends just looked at you unsurprised. Which is why you were rather glad that Kaminari stopped acting like a child to get into the car.
Mina and Kirishima gave you a polite hug after they finished shoving Kaminari in Bakugo's car, leaving with their hands interlocked.
The radio was constantly being turned up to ignore Kaminari's questions and random rants before he called out to you. You glared at Bakugo to make sure he didn't turn it back up, you felt bad for the guy.
He seemed happy you were giving him attention, "So it's all for PR, so why hang out with each other?"
"Just because it's for PR doesn't mean that's all I want, idiot," Bakugo spoke with a smaller bite than before, leaving Denki to just sit and think.
"Then why not actually date?" Kaminari asked you, to which you just shrugged.
"I thought we were, but then he sprung it on me that we weren't, so here we are," you had your head turned to watch him, and gave a bittersweet smile.
"So what was so great about Kacchan that made you say yes to him?" Kaminari lolled his head back as he looked at you.
You took in his question, he was drunk as hell but you knew how he felt, "He was the first guy that asked me out and looked like he meant it- but I have bad judgement so I'm not the best person to ask."
Bakugo was previously annoyed, but now he just looked sad after what you said, guilty.
"I mean it everytime I ask a girl out, should I care more? That's what he does," Kaminari groaned as he pulled himself up to lean on your car seat. "Or is it like a look thing- am I ugly?"
"You're not ugly," you laughed lightly, "You just need to show a lot more effort maybe, I don't know much but I can tell it seems like you are too scattered to care about a single person. So maybe focus up, on one girl, or better yet just focus on yourself. Doing that is often more attractive than chasing."
"Your saying, I just wait for them to come to me?"
"I'm saying to better yourself in the meantime, but sure," you shrugged, turning to face the road again.
You waited in the car as Bakugo brought Kaminari to his apartment, you sat there a full thirty minutes before Bakugo was back. Saying he had to drop you off at your car because he had to stay with Kaminari. Saying he kept trying to short circuit himself.
Bakugo's worry was sweet to see, because even though he acted annoyed, he was concerned.
It boosted your view on him by a lot, seeing that he cared so much for others was nice.
---
Work was no different than any other day. Heros sometimes coming in to get something worked out and then leaving. Business as usually. So you didn't bat an eye when Inasa Yoarashi came straight to your desk.
"Hello," you looked up from your papers, he often chatted with you whenever he had to stop by. He was loudspoken and super upbeat, you'd be intimidated otherwise. He was tall as hell.
"Hello," he nodded at you, loud but polite.
"What's brought you here?" you smiled before looking down to shift some papers.
"I was wondering your schedule. What time are you off work, if you don't mind me asking," he ask loudly, when you glanced up at him, he looked nervous. A slight flush to his face and a straight posture.
You looked at your calendar, "I'll be off at 8, why?"
"I was wanting to court you."
The terminology made your eyes bug out of your head, "What now?"
"Would you like to go on a date?"
Your mouth felt dry with how straight forward this conversation was. "I thought you- Haven't you seen about Bakugo and me?" you stuttered with how this could happen. You and Bakugo were everywhere on social media.
He gave you an odd look, a slight tilt to his head, "Why would I care that you had a PR relationship? That's none of my business. Though, now that it's over, I'd love to pursue a real relationship with you."
You just blinked at him, how in the world did he know. "I'll have to think on it-"
Before anymore words could leave your mouth, you saw your dad stomping into the room. The entire office went silent as your father stared at you. His presence alone was intimidating, but when he was mad it was worse. He just crossed his arms and stared at you, waiting. It was obvious he'd blow up if there wasn't a hero in the room, couldn't ruin his image.
"Sorry- We'll have to talk later," you brushed your slacks off as you stood, straightening the fabric.
"I'll stop by tomorrow," he nodded, fully of confidence as he left.
Leaving you to follow your father to his office.
The second the door clicked shut behind you, he turned around to glare at you.
"Can you tell me why your name is plastered all over social media? Over a PR relationship no one fucking asked for?" he snapped, "Your name, is our name. Do you even fucking think?"
"I didn't know he was going to go public about it- he hasn't messaged me at all-"
"I don't want to hear you ramble with excuses. Fix it," he hisssed, leaving with the unspoken threat.
"How-"
"Fix it," he cut you off, "I don't care how, but fix it."
You nodded before leaving. You didn't want to lose your job, and he'd cut you off fully if you didn't fix anything. He'd disown you publicly if this continued. He was all about his image, it was all you could think about as you walked back to your desk. The image of this family had to stick professional, so a dating scandal was pathetic to paste next to the perfect image.
Bakugo still hasn't messaged you, no warning, nothing. Just a public video of him being interviewed plastered all over socials.
"How's your girlfriend?"
He already looked annoyed but he just snapped, "She's not my fucking girlfriend, it's for PR and it's idiotic. Ruined so much and wasted my fucking time, I'm sick of it."
The clip ended there, but enough was said.
If that's how he felt, there was no need for him to message you again. It was clear he finally gave up trying to prove it wasn't for PR. Clearly it all was.
You held your face in your hands, the day couldn't get worse. Everything was piling.
There was no fixing this, which is the worst of it all. All you could do was move past it.
Part of you wished for Bakugo to show up for dinner as he always did, but he never did.
So you packed up and left, only to face countless interviewers.
"Why fake date?"
"Where you trying to climb the ranks in the office?"
"Was it to help his image or his?"
"Why you?"
You asked yourself the last one often, because truly, why did he have to come up and chose you?
While biting your tongue, you straighten your posture, "The relationship was for the public to calm down the dating rumors that surround Dynamight-"
Maybe you added too much, because even with media training, this is unpredictable.
"Is he dating someone else?
"What's the reason to hide?"
You winced at that countless questions being thrown at you. "He is still a true friend- no more questions please-" You were practically swarmed with cameras, looking into the office behind you with a panic, only being able to get away because several cop cars were racing down the street.
Sirens calling everyone's attention so you could escape, you could never be more thankful.
---
You didn't even make it out of the office until it was officially locked up by the security, walking with them to catch a breath.
The next day was filed with hero incidents and a mass flood caused by a villian taking up all posts on social media. Everyone was focused on that, even your father.
Everything was more normal than you would of liked. Incidents were common, so you didn't bat an eye.
The usual part of the day that you disliked was Inasa Yoarashi walking straight up to your desk at the time Bakugo normally would.
"About what I proposed yesterday?" he started, shoulders back in confidence, "Would you take me up on that offer to go on a date?"
Unfortunately you missed how Bakugo was the one that tried to get you to go on date. Thinking about how Bakugo always had his shoulders back in confidence. But it wasn't the same. Bakugo did it all with an attitude that could back it, not like Inasa would with being uptight.
He was handsome, but he didn't have that sharp look to his features. He was broad but didn't have that leaner build that Bakugo had. He was a complete different hero.
So you spoke your answer, "I'd like-"
"The fuck," you heard Bakugo's voice in shock ring from behind Inasa, who turned to look as well.
Bakugo had stealth training, but normally he had too loud of steps in the office. He was broad and tall but not as much as Inasa. That's all you could explain to yourself on how he was there.
He had no reason to be there.
He ended it publically.
Your mind blurred they're aggressive introductions.
"Did ya' tell him about us?" Bakugo glared at you.
"There's an us?" you asked back. Your mind was not catching up to what was happening.
Bakugo was here asking about you after saying you were a waste of time. Right when a perfectly normal guy was asking you out. With your brain telling you to chose the normal and easy option, while your heart was telling you to chose the complicated blonde.
"There isn't?" Bakugo hissed.
"I know about the PR-" Inasa tried to voice.
"I'm not fuckin' talking to you, or that," Bakugo pointed an aggressive finger at Inasa then turned to you again, "There isn't an us?"
"Is there?" you went back and forth, "You ended it publicly."
"Yeah, publicly," he glared at you, practically hissing out the words, "It's what you wanted."
"No it's not- you didn't even text me or show up yesterday to warn me," your eyes flashed to Inasa apologetically.
Bakugo blinked at you, "I don't talk to you for one day and you jump onto the next guy?" he pointed in Inasa's direction without looking, just glaring at you.
"You broke it off-" you defended, looking to Inasa, "I'm sorry you had to see this, Bakugo, could you give us a second?"
"What?" he looked apauled.
You got up and gestured for Inasa to follow you near the elevator, leaving Bakugo at your desk.
"Look, I appreciate the gesture, but I think it's best if we don't. I'm a public mess right now-" you winced throughout every part of rejecting Inasa, but you hardly knew him and what you did know, you only compared to Bakugo.
He nodded, "Understood, have a good day."
His calm rejection had you following his figure with your eyes until the elevator closed your view. Only then did you shake your head and walk to Bakugo.
"You made me wait while you agreed to a date with that dude?" Bakugo just had a blank look on his face.
Everyone was looking at you, so you pulled him into the closest empty conference room.
"You couldn't of warned me? You couldn't of texted? You couldn't of done anything differently? Said it less harsh? Think about my feelings?" you spat at him, running through of the questions you could think off.
"Can you slow the fuck down- why do you even care if your just gonna go date that tornado?"
"Can't you just tell me how you feel for once?" you crossed your arms.
"I feel," he mocked, "Like I don't want you to date that fuckass."
"Real mature Bakugo, go bad mouth me and avoid me just to prohibit me from moving on."
He ran his hand through his hair then down his face with a harsh sigh, "Really? I didn't warn you because my phone broke. That little press person caught me right after my phone died, then I lost it in the flood. I was annoyed and wanting to actually start something with you, so I tried to make it clear to them in a way you would understand."
"How would I understand what you said? All you did was call it idiotic."
"I also said it was wasting my time, our time. It ruined the start off anything we could of had."
"How was I supposed to get that? You set that up to fail," you threw your hands up in defeat.
He shrugged, "It was stupid, whatever, doesn't matter since you decided on the wind turbine."
"I told him no, I chose you, now you can swallow your feelings over that," you huffed, annoyed how he kept trailing back to that, "Why did you even think I didn't want a public relationship? The public part wasn't the issue."
Bakugo blinked at you, "It's all you fuckin talk about-"
"Yeah, because I didn't like how it started, but now we could never have a relationship that's known, it'd look weird and cause drama-"
"So we keep it to ourselves, we start as just us," he shrugs.
"That'll be so difficult, no too long looks, no touching, we wouldn't be able to get close to each other without rumors blowing up."
"That's where the tension is, Books. It'd be too easy if everyone just knew our business," he smirke, "Builds tension."
You rolled your eyes, "There's already enough tension."
"So you chose me? You actually want something?" the air of aggressiveness of the conversation fell away as he spoke now.
"I wanted something before you even started or ended it," you smiled, "You keep winning me over."
"I am a winner," he shrugged, his cocky energy back the second he actually could back it up. Stepping closer into your space after the distance was placed between you two.
You smiled, pushing your arm out to keep distance, looking out of the windows to the conference room and seeing the audience you had. "We agreed it'd be too easy if they knew."
He rolled his eyes but stepped back, "Everything comes too easily to me."
"Uh huh, sure," you joked, "So what's your plan?"
"Come over, I'll make ya favorite," his confidence made you smile and agree before leaving bashfully.
Seeing him next at his house. Sharing a real first date and a real kiss, planning the moves for the next.

hiiiii!! i really love your blog and i was wondering if i could request aot characters being jealous?? 🫶🫶
Hiiii anon! 🫶 This was such a fun request to write, thank you for sharing it with me! Hope you enjoy this!🪷
aot characters being jealous 🤨
warnings: eren kinda needs to be slapped, alcohol consumption in mikasa’s word count: 4,1k includes: eren, armin, mikasa, connie, jean, reiner, bertholdt, hange, erwin a/n: idk why i decided to call bertholdt bertie, idk if i’ve done that before but in my head, that’s his name (apart from birth control, burrito, boruto, boomshakalaka and the lot)
You don’t need me to tell you that Eren will pick up a fight if he gets the slightest clue that he doesn’t have your undivided attention. You smiled at the waiter? What for? Was he to your liking? Why are you on the phone again? I’m here with you, no need to speak with anyone else. He’s too possessive and even though that’s a trait you liked at first, it was steadily choking you. It’s not that he wouldn’t allow you to do things like go out or be on the phone with people he didn’t know personally, but he’d made it his life mission to get to know all of your friends or to always check on you when you weren’t together. He did demand that you sent him pictures and videos of where you were or who you were with though. The final straw was when you caught him going through your phone. You’d spent the night together and you’d just woken up. But it felt too early. Your body was still stiff from not getting the rest you needed and your eyelids felt heavy. You lazily turned over and reached for his warm body, draping your arm around his waist. “You up, y/n?” You responded with a mumble that could mean anything, slowly drifting into sleep again. You were woken by the buzzing of a phone along with a constant turn on and off of a white light. You opened your eyes and realised it was just Eren on your phone… Going through YOUR messages! “Eren what the fuck?” You snapped awake and yelled as best as you could, your voice raspy with sleep. “No worries, y/n, you’re clean.” He said matter-of-factly, still checking some more messages. “What the hell? Of course I’m clean! Why would you do that?” You screamed and snatched your phone from his hands, practically stepping all over him in order to reach the device. “Just had to make sure, y/n!” “When you want to make sure you ask me, you don’t go through my private stuff!”
Armin is so the type to be silently jealous. He notices that you’re smiling while on your phone or that maybe you were extra careful about your hair and make up but he doesn’t voice his concern. He’ll simply compliment you on your looks and on the outfit you picked. He’ll even go as far as to wish you a good time. The entire time when you’re gone, he’ll check your socials, see if you’ve posted anything or if any of your mutual friends has posted you on their stories. He’d promised himself he wouldn’t text you any more than what he normally would. What if he made you suspicious of his behaviour? Then he wouldn’t be able to find anything out! When you’re finally home – much later than usual – he pretends to still be working on his laptop. Unfazed, he asks you about your night out, did you have fun? Where did you go? Did you like that place? The little shit will even ask you to cuddle him while you tell him all about your night. “You know what, I can’t keep it a secret any longer, Armin. I’m sorry you weren’t invited, but me and the girls were helping Ymir propose to Historia, she even hired a photographer and the lot! She’ll tell you all about it soon, I’m sure they’re busy having fun right now!” Armin looked back at you, startled. It all checked out! If Ymir had hired professionals for the proposal, then it’d make sense that you were too meticulous about your appearance or why you never posted anything about tonight. “Wow, y/n… I feel so stupid now… I literally thought you’d gone on a date, I was losing my mind over here!” He pulled you closer with his arm around your neck and kissed the top of your head. “First of all, why would I ever cheat on you?” You pulled away from the soft lock he held you in and removed his laptop from his legs to set it on the living room table in front of you. “And secondly, if I was to cheat, do you really think you’d be able to tell this easily?” You smirked at him and noticed the colour draining from his face. “Y/n, don’t say that, it’s not funny. How’d you do it then?” He requested to which you only laughed. “You’ll spoil the fun if you know beforehand! Let’s just say I’d be way more smart than getting ready for my lover in front of you!” “Y/n you don’t mean that! Say you don’t mean that!” He said, his voice annoyed but also not too confident. Were you being honest? He had to know!
You didn’t know Mikasa could get jealous, but you found out about it that one time you got monumentally drunk. Hanging out for a beer was normal for your friend group, even though it wasn’t always possible for all of you to actually gather. When you did, it was the best night out! Normally, you’d let Mikasa catch up with Eren and Armin while you focused on the people you didn’t get to see quite as often. It was a short break for you and Mikasa, a deal you’d both agreed to keep when you were with your mutual friends. You were catching up with Connie and Historia and lost yourself in your conversations, your laughters. You didn’t know what number beer you’d just chugged, but you three were ordering another round, cackling at one of Connie’s hilarious jokes as you raised your hand towards the waiter. You noticed Mikasa eyeing you from the table she occupied with Eren. She gave you a crooked smile and a thumbs up, but she seemed a bit weird. You completely forgot about the look on her face the moment your pints landed in front of you on the table. “Cheers to us!” Yelled Connie as he raised his pint in the air, clinking it with your and Historia’s. You were so giddy with the beer, your jokes and the laughs you were sharing that you felt like hugging them. Sliding your arms around their shoulders, you pulled them both closer to you, your heads banging in the process. “I really love you guys! We should do this more often!” Connie and Historia intertwined their arms as well, forming an odd three-way hug. “We really should, y/n! Mikasa! Come, join our group hug!” Historia exclaimed breaking contact with you as Mikasa slid in the narrow space between the two of you. “It’s time to go, y/n.” She said, not joining in the hug and reaching for the place where yours and Connie’s arm were touching to pull them apart. “Mikasa NO! Let’s stay, we’re having so much fun!” You offered her a sip from your beer but she only glared at you with red eyes. “Y/n. It’s late. You’re drunk. We’re going home!” She demanded. She stood up before you could say anything and helped you on your feet as well, moving a bit further from the table you were previously sat at. “I don’t wanna leave just yet, Mikasa! Why can’t we stay?” You felt yourself slurring the words. Maybe Mikasa was right. How many beers did you have anyway? “Y/n, you’re drunk and when that happens you start… Hugging people...” She fixed your hair as she asked Historia about your jacket and bag. “What’s wrong with hugging my friends, Mikasa? Just because you and Eren and Armin never hug, doesn’t mean I’m not gonna hug you know?” You protested as she helped you put on your jacket and awkwardly hang your bag on your shoulder. “Nothing wrong with hugging, y/n. But after that, you start making out with people and I’m not particularly fond of that.” You stood still as you realised what she was saying. “That’s unfair, Mikasa! That hasn’t happened since the night we got together!” “That’s my point, y/n! You made out with me because you were drunk! You said so yourself! You were too scared to ask me out!” She was being serious, that much you could tell. You smirked at her and she raised an eyebrow. “So, Mikasa… Is this your way to say you wanna make out or something?”
Connie doesn’t get jealous, not how you’d expect one to get jealous at least. He’s too cocky for this type of behaviour. Even if he had ‘signs’ that you might be unfaithful, he’d play along with you. Questions like “How’s that new man of yours been doing?” were a common occurrence whenever he thought he had clues pointing to that. You were fed up with his stupidity. Joking about it once was funny, but having him try to persuade you that you were having a secret affair was too much. It was getting rather annoying, so you confronted him about it, asking him if he really believed you weren’t loyal to him. Of course, Connie just laughs at this, which annoys you tenfold. “Why would you even cheat on me? I’m giving you everything you ask for!” Cocky. “That’s exactly my point, Connie! I’m not cheating on you, I’ve no reason to! Why do you go on with this stupid game of yours? Are you cheating and trying to pin it on me instead? This is too much of a mindfuck for me to fathom!” Connie’s eyes grew wider at your confession, he noticed how you were being serious about this, how you were actually upset. “Hey, hey… I just thought it was funny, you know? Just messing with you a bit… I never meant for it to get this far, I’m sorry I didn’t realise sooner…” He pulled you closer and gave you a hug, then a soft peck on your temple. “Where did you even get the idea? What did I do?” You inquired, eager to properly sort this out. “Ah, I don’t know… You’re always laughing on the phone. But like too much… I usually brush it off, it might be some of your friends. But then you started getting annoyed at me whenever I commented on that, so I kept pushing.” You sighed, not yet leaving his arms as he rested his head on top of yours. “Well Connie, had the allegations been true, I’d be cheating on you with funny cat videos on TikTok.” You admitted and laughed with how silly you’d both been about this misunderstanding. “Wait, y/n, that’s actually quite the rival! You’re not allowed to watch any more cat videos from now on!” He joked and poked your cheek. “Unless we watch them together, of course!”
Jean gets jealous alright. The thing is, he’s having such a hard time admitting it. You’ve been spending extra time with some childhood friends of yours that were back in town for the weekend, so you told Jean you wouldn’t be much around. After all, you didn’t get to see those people often. What with living in different cities, working and the lot, it was difficult. Jean was understanding, of course, Jean is nothing if not understanding and loving towards you. But it was eating him from the inside out. It wasn’t even noon yet and you’d been with your friends for around 3 hours by now. No texts, no calls. Yet, you were extremely active on social media. And one of your friends looked really cute. The kind of cute you’d go for. After some digging – yes, he even checked your facebook page back from 2012 – he found out that you two had actually dated… For an entire year?? Why wouldn’t you mention that one of the people you were to meet was an ex? Sure, he’d mind it anyway, but he’d rather know in advance than have to find out about it himself! “Hey please call me when you see this y/n!” He texted. A few minutes passed and you hadn’t even read the text. “It’s urgent, please call me!!!” Still no response. After a series of emojis aiming to get your attention, you finally check your phone and let him know that you’d call him in a couple of minutes. As patient as he could be - he couldn’t. His foot was tapping like crazy, the nail of his thumb displayed visible damage from his insistent biting and nibbling. The phone rang and Jean had never in his life picked up as fast as now. “Hey Jean! What’s wrong? Everything alright?” You asked, still not quite sure what this was about. “Why didn’t you tell me you and that guy were dating when you were younger?” Your laughter was the only answer he’d get for a few seconds. “I’m serious, y/n! You should’ve told me!” “Jean, okay, how did you even find out about this?” “That’s what’s troubling you, y/n? I checked your facebook! I had to know who I’ up against!” “Jean, you’re being dramatic. Tell me, mr detective guy, why would I tell you about a guy I was dating when I was 15? That doesn’t even count as a relationship!” Jean didn’t know what to say. He hadn’t realised he’d scrolled that far back or that it might have been a minor thing. Realising he had no reason to be jealous, he apologised for the hundreds of emojis he’d sent you earlier. “No need to apologise, Jean! It’s fine, really! Just… Check the dates when you do your digging, okay?” “Hope I won’t need to again, y/n. Have fun with your friends!”
Reiner is the type of jealous person that kinda loses it and panics. He’s not even sure why he’s acting like this. You’ve reassured him close to a million times, yet he can’t shake the thought out of his head. The audacity of that person to comment an aubergine emoji on your recent post was simply the cherry on top of his list of insecurities. “Reiner! Snap out of it!” You had to actually snap your fingers and wave your palm in front of his face to pull him out of his trance. “Sorry, sorry, y/n, I just… That was so… I don’t know, it still bugs me...” Sighing, you leaned over him, placing your head on his shoulder. “I deleted the comment and blocked them. You can check my phone if it makes you feel any better. But anyway, that person had no reason to do that. I haven’t seen or spoken to them in years!” You quickly pecked his cheek, eager that the episode was over, but alas. “Apparently, it’s a lot different in their head, y/n! And that emoji very well indicates what kind of thoughts they were having...” He yelled at you, taking you by surprise. Sure, he wasn’t the most confident person, but this was unusual of him. You pulled up the chair and sat next to him, your arm on his lower back. “Hey… No need to worry, I promise you. It’s nothing serious and it means nothing on my end, Reiner. Do you understand?” He avoided your gaze and instead took interest in pinching the inside of his thumb. Placing your hand on top of his, you ceased his terrible habit. Defeat, he sighed. “Consciously, I know I shouldn’t be jealous, y/n. But then my thoughts start racing… What gave them the audacity to comment that? Have they been thinking about you often? H- Have they… Touched themselves to the thought of you? That makes me physically sick, I can’t stand it… And you can’t tell me people aren’t perverted like that, because you know they are… And then I can’t stop these thoughts from coming back to me.” You caressed his back, taking in his confession and understanding the depth of all he’d just admitted to you. “I can’t make the thoughts stop, but I’m here to remind you that this person is blocked. And every person who acts like this on my accounts is, also, automatically blocked. I don’t want that kind of attention from anyone else but you, okay?” He gave you a loving look as the words sank in. Moving his hand to your face to touch your chin, he softly pulled you towards him to kiss you. “From now on, that’s my mantra, y/n.”
Bertholdt is the one to mention you’ve been getting unwanted attention because, honestly, you hadn’t even noticed it! He doesn’t understand the concept of jealousy. Working as an events coordinator included having to talk to a variety of people for a bunch of things. It was a stressful job, but the fact that Bertholdt worked beside you made everything manageable. Today’s event was hectic: A live radio production covering a charity marathon. The streets were packed with people, everyone was loud and moving up and down like crazy. It must’ve been a solid hour before you last caught glimpse of your Bertie and that wasn’t usually a problem. But today, your biggest sponsor kept bugging you about everything. He wouldn’t let you breathe and actually followed you around as you were checking with your colleagues that everything was set to go. After trying to avoid him for the millionth time, your eyes finally landed on Bertie as he was giving the final instructions to one of the producers. “Let’s go talk to Bertholdt about your issue!” You grabbed the sponsor’s arm and literally dragged him towards Bertholdt. “There you are! Been looking all over for you two!” Exclaimed Bertie as he noticed you and the sponsor walking to him. “Mr Hoover, we were just wandering about this minor detail, would you mind going over it with us once more?” You asked, trying your best to give him an eye signal about the sponsor. You weren’t sure if he got it, but a few seconds later he walked with him to one of the promo booths and introduced him to someone. You saw them shaking hands, then Bertie came back to you. “Has he been bothering you long, y/n?” He asked kissing your temple. “Yes… He’s been insufferable… How did you know?” Bertie chuckled and leaned to reach your ear. “He’s been talking my ear off about you for days… Said he wants to ask you out by the end of the event!” That made the both of you laugh and hold your tummies. “You’re not serious Bertie, are you? We’re literally called ‘Hoover and y/l/n! Hasn’t he seen our wedding rings?” In-between laughter Bertie spoke. “No clue! But I couldn’t spill the beans! Not after he told me all about you, how sweet and pretty you are! I couldn’t bear to be so cruel!” Attempting to contain your giggling – with little success – you’re brought back to reality by the suddenly serious expression on Bertie’s face. “Shut up, y/n! Here he comes!” “We’re in for a treat… Shouldn’t we wait until the event is over?” The more you spoke, the closer the sponsor got to where you and Bertie stood. “Damn, y/n! And I thought I was being unethical for not letting him know about us, but you’re the real deal!”
Hange doesn’t get jealous, but because they don’t really see the signs? They’re so confident about you, they just know you wouldn’t do that. You’d been trying your hardest to make them jealous, as a game of course, but they never really got the cue! You and Historia had even set up a fake profile of a person texting you constantly, your final attempt to see how Hange would react. Your phone lit up with another two texts and a voice message from your admirer. Enough was enough so you decided to be vocal about the incident. “Ugh, I just can’t believe this person… I just don’t understand why they won’t stop texting me… They’re really bothering me, Hange!” At that, Hange’s face was instantly turned towards you from where they were brewing their coffee on the kitchen counter. “Who are we talking about, y/n? You’ve never mentioned them before, are they a friend of youurs?” “We used to date but they keep hitting me up every now and then… I guess they’re not over me yet...” Letting the spoon they were holding hit the counter, they turned fully and walked towards you. “Okay, y/n, this sounds serious. What do you need me to do? Track them down? Call the police? Go find them myself? How serious is this ‘annoying’ y/n? Let me see!” Before you could respond, they took your phone away from you and began scrolling up on your and ‘your admirer’s’ chat. “Y/n, why would you send them the droplets emoji? Isn’t that exclusive for our chats?” “That’s your only problem, Hange?” You requested, utterly disappointed that not even a fake profile sending you thirsty messages was enough to get them going. “Ugh, it’s not even real, Hange, don’t worry… It’s just this profile me and Historia created. I wanted to see if you’d get jealous, but, apparently, I’m incapable of it!” You exclaimed in defeat, face buried in your hands as Hange laughed it out. “Okay, okay, y/n, but let me get this straight… How did you expect me to get jealous over text messages that I didn’t even know existed – even if they were real - and secondly, why would I be jealous about you shifting your attention from me when you’re, quite literally, all over me all the time?” “Why are you the one complaining, Hange? Shouldn’t I be all over you?” “You very well should, but how can I be jealous of potential opponents when you always show me you love me?” You both fell silent for a few seconds, you at loss for words and Hange expecting a response. “I hate how you won’t fall for any prank, Hange!”
Erwin swears he doesn’t get jealous because “it’s not the right thing to do” and “he trusts you too much” anyway. But whenever someone looks at you a little more than usual, it’s game over. For them! You were having Sunday brunch at your usual spot. Enjoying your breakfast with Erwin was usually the highlight of your week, except for when he was in the mood to fight the waiters because “they were staring too long” or complimented you. “He wasn’t, Erwin. And besides, that was literally just Peter. We’ve been coming here almost every Sunday morning for two years. We know Peter and he knows we’re together! Or not to pick a fight with you...” You mumbled the last part, hoping it wasn’t audible, but Erwin’s eyes widening was proof of the opposite. “What was that, y/n? Why would he need to pick a fight with me?” You scoffed, determined to not let this outburst of his to last more than it should. It was your day together after all! “Peter has served us a million times, Erwin. You’re always equally nice to him, except for when he gives me a compliment!” “He has no reason to be giving you compliments, y/n. That’s for me to do.” He explained sternly, cutting one more bite out of his pancake. “He also complimented you, but of course, that doesn’t matter, does it...” You sighed, setting your cutlery down. “I don’t wanna fight about this again, Erwin. You’ve no reason to be jealous. It was just a compliment from a guy that means nothing to me.” Setting his own cutlery down, he reached for your hand and held it. “I just don’t like it when people look at you… Like that… Can’t blame them, you’re wonderful! But I’d rather they kept their thoughts to themselves… I don’t want to fight either, y/n. Are we good?” “We’re good! But you know that other people can like… Perceive me and stuff?” He chuckled at your words, satisfied that your little argument never escalated to anything more than that. “I know. Sadly, I can’t keep you all to myself.” He gave you a sweet smile and went back to cutting his pancake, offering you his bite. “Well, no need to worry about other people’s failed attempts to flirt with me. I’m ‘for your eyes only’, as the poets have said.” You smirked as you took the bite he offered you. “Y/n, I swear to god, if you keep on quoting One Direction, we’ll have to re-evaluate our relationship.” He said in his strict voice. “Aw, but you’re such a fast learner! So quick to pick up on my reference!” You giggled at his face, trying so hard to keep on playing strict but holding back his laughter to the best of his ability. “You’ll be the death of me, y/n.”

A series of snapshots of how the public views Danny’s return [Bruce/Danny; Spirit Halloween]
I can't believe it's been already 5 days since I last written something. University has kept me so busy.
Anyway — on to the next part! I tried something different for the first half, I hope it's not too jarring. I thought it would be fun to have a sort of outside view of how the public see Danny and Bruce.
Read on ao3. Masterpost.
Previous. Next.
“Did you guys see the interview Lois Lane did with Bruce Wayne and his husband?”
“I was so shocked when I heard the news. They do look cute together though!”
“I still can't believe that the most eligible bachelor of Gotham had been married all along! It does explain why he never dated anyone.”
“I know right! But they must be super private for it to only come out now.”
“Actually they said in the interview that his husband was busy with other affairs outside the country.”
“Don’t you think it almost makes it sound like he’s a royalty from a far away land? He was so serious when he said he needed to take care of his duties and responsibilities.”
“No way you are believing that conspiracy theory. There’s a thread that debunked it already. Apparently he’s from some no name city in the Midwest.”
“I did think he had an accent I couldn’t place. Did you watch the clip of the interview where Lois Lane asked who proposed first?”
“Wait, what? I can’t believe I missed that, I hadn’t had time to watch the full interview!”
“Me neither.”
“Here let me pull it up.”
“-So who proposed first?”
Danny and Bruce look at each other for a moment and the latter groans at the expression his husband wears.
“Please not, love.”
“But it’s such an adorable story!”
“Now I’m only more curious,” Lois chuckles.
“Well we were quite drunk that day to be honest,” Danny laughs. “It was almost midnight when we decided we needed a hotel. Unfortunately all rooms were booked other than a Love Suite.”
Lois leans forward, eager to hear more.
“The receptionist said they don’t have a room for us both unless we are a couple-“
Bruce buries his face into his hands.
“And Bruce said and I quote ‘Actually we are fiancées.’ I don’t know if the receptionist or Bruce was more flustered when we woke up in the morning.”
“Wow!” Lois exclaims. “I never thought I’d see the day where Bruce is embarrassed.”
Bruce still doesn’t look up from where he hides his face.
“Yeah he couldn’t look me in the eyes for the entire following day,” Danny snickers. “I actually asked him when the wedding would be while we were eating breakfast. He almost choked on his food!”
The clips ends and the girls giggle.
“And still people believe Bruce Wayne isn’t a huge himbo.”
“I do wonder how his youngest came to be. Did he cheat while his husband was away on business?”
One of the girls opens her mouth but before she can share her opinion the other interrupts.
“If you tell me you believe the rumors he’s a clone too then I’m gonna hit you, Sarah.”
“I’m just saying that we never saw his mother in public!”
A loudspeaker announces the next stop.
“Come on, we’ll have to hurry to get the bus.”
Their voices fade as they leave the subway.
“Huh, isn’t that Bruce Wayne’s husband? Who is that next to him?”
“I think that’s Jason Todd, you know the one who died and came back a few years ago? Apparently he was in witness protection or something.”
“Wow, I almost didn’t recognize him. They look so familiar with each other.”
They watch as the older man cackles as he throws fries in his mouth while the younger scowls and playfully punches the man’s forearm.
“Yeah I heard that now that he is back in Gotham he has been on several outings with the rest of Bruce’s kids.”
“Even with his youngest?”
“Yeah they went to the zoo. With his oldest son he visited him at work I think. He also went to his daughter’s performance. I’m not sure if he did something with the Drake boy.”
“Talking about the devil…”
The door to the Batburger opens, Tim Drake as well as the rest of Bruce Wayne’s brood following him. The older man cheerfully greets them, ruffling the hair of Tim as he sits down next to him. Soon their happy chatter fills the fast food restaurant and the ones watching them move on to other topics.
“I was skeptical but they do make a good pair.”
Bruce Wayne and his husband are greeting their guests for the charity with matching suits and beaming smiles. Bruce leans to whisper something in the man’s ear and he nods. He politely excuses himself before he hurries out of the room with a champagne glass in hand.
“Indeed. I’m a bit surprised how well adjusted his husband is, considering I can’t recall ever seeing him at a gala.”
Bruce watches the man go with a genuine smile before he turns back to the people surrounding him.
“That brings me back to when Mr. Wayne first returned to Gotham. I can’t help but feel he looks more at ease now.”
“I know what you mean. He’s mellowed out a lot over the years. To think he had a secret lover he had been hiding all this time…”
“And he seems to be getting along with his kids too. Talking about them-”
Damian Wayne approaches his father, telling him something. Bruce hums before he excuses himself and his son as they go in the direction his husband had gone too. The two high society members quickly forgot about the strangeness of it.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tim Drake so serious.”
“To think that Mr. Wayne would have died without his husband there- It sickens me.”
“The fact that his son has to hold the press conference must mean his injuries are even worse than speculated.”
“I heard that he might need to relearn to walk too.”
“His husband looked furious when the reporters swarmed them once they arrived at the scene — honestly I would be too.”
“They have no shame.”
“I wouldn’t want to be them or the Clown now.”
“I can’t believe Red Robin and Signal let him slip away. Where were Batman and Robin anyway?”
“I have no idea either. And here I thought Batman favors Mr. Wayne and his family.”
“It did seem that way. If the Clown washes up dead, I’m betting on Mr. Wayne’s husband.”
“One can only hope.”
Danny opens the door with a sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. Those damn vultures. If he had known how annoying they would be, he would have convinced Bruce to go live with him in the Infinite Realms — although he knows that despite their love for each other, his need for revenge had outweighed everything else once he finished his travels across the world.
He shakes his head and steps in the room, eyes trailing to the bed — Bruce should be still out on pain medications-
“Bruce!” Danny chides when he sees the man struggling to stand up from where he is seated on his bed. “What are you doing?”
He hurries to the man’s side and helps him back into the bed as he groans.
“What happened?”
Danny frowns as he sits down the chair next to his bedside. It pains him to see Bruce so obviously weak, face drenched in sweat — if he finds that Clown, he’ll-
“There was a Rogue attack during the charity gala,” Danny explains as he pushes away the dark thoughts — he can plan with Jason later. He is sure the boy will take him up on the offer. “Don’t you remember?”
“What about the target?”
Danny sighs as he leans back, eyes tired — he hadn’t slept a single wink since the incident, but leave it to Bruce to be concerned about anything other than his own health.
“Tim and Cass managed to detain them. We got surprised before you and Damian could change into your costumes.”
Danny knits his eyebrows together as Bruce raises a hand to his temple, obviously straining his memory to recall what happened.
“You should rest, darling,” Danny leans forward and puts his hands over the man’s left hand. “My ectoplasm sped up things, but you were quite hurt. I'll tell the kids that you are awake.”
He moves to stand but Bruce grasps his wrist before he can move from his spot. It’s feather light — nothing like the reliable, strong grip Bruce normally has. Danny gnaws at his lips as he waits for Bruce to compose himself.
“Stay,” he says, voice exhausted before he murmurs, “please.”
If this were any other circumstances Danny would have snorted at the man’s display of rather lacking emotional vulnerability, but this is also the first time in many years that he has seen the man seriously hurt and had been powerless to prevent it even though he had been right there. The comfort Bruce is seeking right now — it’s also something Danny needs. To make sure the man is still alive.
The man scoots over as Danny climbs in the hospital bed and pulls him closer once Danny makes himself comfortable. Danny falls asleep to the rhythmic, slow sound of the man’s heartbeat.
Danny wakes up to hushed voices talking. He keeps his eyes closed as he becomes aware of his surroundings. There’s a hand in his hair and he can hear the rumble of Bruce’s chest as he speaks-
“-He looks too exhausted.”
“You should have seen him when he brought you to the ambulance,” Jason chuckles. “I thought he was gonna bite the next reporter that shoved themselves in his way.”
“We can be glad Daniel was there Father,” Damian says before he hesitates. “I don’t think I would have been able..:”
He trails off and the atmosphere turns somber.
“Has there been a press conference yet?” Bruce asks as he shifts to hold Danny a bit closer.
“Yes, Tim took care of it,” Jason says. “He and Dick will come by tomorrow.”
“Very well,” Danny can feel Bruce nodding. “Go return to the manor, it’s getting late and I’m sure Alfred won’t appreciate you coming home after curfew.”
Danny doesn’t need to open his eyes to know Jason is probably rolling his eyes.
“You say as if all your kids aren’t running around as vigilantes at night,” Jason says. “Besides I’m going to one of my safe houses for the night.”
Bruce grunts, displeased and Jason sighs.
“Fine I’ll go to the manor,” he gives in. “But only because these are special circumstances.”
Bruce lets out a hum, now obviously pleased.
“Should we wake Danny?”
“No, Iet him sleep,” Bruce says, before a bit of amusement slips into his tone. “I’m sure the nurse will let it be once she recognizes him as Bruce Wayne’s husband.”
Jason scoffs, but doesn’t protest. Damian says goodbye to his father before both of them leave. It’s several minutes later that Bruce chuckles.
“I know that you are awake.”
Danny opens one eye, peaking at Bruce who is looking at him with a soft smile. He’s propped up against the headboard and Danny is relieved to see him looking better than when he stepped in the room a few hours ago.
Danny sits up and raises an eyebrow.
“My breathing?” he asks and Bruce snorts.
“It doesn’t need a Detective to notice that you suddenly started breathing again although you didn’t while you were asleep.”
Danny huffs out a breath — that tell is the only reason why Danny can never deceive the man.
“I didn’t want to interrupt your conversation,” Danny says as he leans against the man.
Bruce frowns as he tucks Danny into his side.
“Have they-”
“They all have been very accepting and lovely Bruce,” Danny interrupts. “You have good kids. I just feel bad that I have been monopolizing their attention. After all, you are their father even if some of them try to deny it.”
“You are now too,” Bruce says, surprising Danny, “if you want.”
Danny smiles as he answers, “I know. But that’s up to them.”
“I don’t think there’s anyone who can refuse you.”
Danny snorts.
“You are just biased, darling.”
Bruce shrugs, expression content.
“Guilty as charged.”
Danny laughs as he shakes his head.
Yeah, they’ll be fine — no matter what others might think about them. (And if he has to kill a Clown for that to happen, he will gladly do so.)

BOJUNYIXIAO’s Weibo Night 2024/2025 Part I 🔴🟡🟢
here we are again with the boys’ yearly same-event appearance. a tradition of sorts at this point that cpfs look forward to. It’s fun to clown and speculate on what is happening behind the scenes cause they most likely will not be in the same frame. if you wanna look back on last year’s events then go here.
i know i said this recap will be done by the end of the night but i thought about how it would be too long to read. also, this is a breather why we wait for them be onstage cause thus ceremony is too long. lol. the next post by end of day will focus more on candies that happened during the show.
I. Getting tickets and Rumors of them going
as with other wb nights, tickets can be achieved through fan voting. compared to last year that was competitive for cpfs, this one was more relaxed. or maybe fans weren’t that interested in attending. cause there was so little news if the boys will even attend the event initially. i wanna say it was a pretty good mix of fandoms on the list. for cpfs, it was the fansites dominating as usual.
by 1/8 in the morning, we saw that both of them have won awards in their respective works: Xiao Zhan for his song "wo me " as Favorite Music of the Year" & Wang Yibo for starring in the movie "formed police unit" for "Weibo's Favorite Movie of the Year"; his personal documentary "Exploring New Unknown" winning "Weibo's Favorite Variety Show of the Year". these are automatically posted by weibo via the respective accounts involved and people can see it in the voting site for the event. then in the afternoon, melons started coming out that they will be going. and this is further solidified by wb night’s teaser post that seem to allude to gg & wyb. so before announcing, wb night shares cards with statements on it. each card representing a celebrity. and here comes the hilarious part, their cards were posted side by side on 20:32 (p1). for yibo it’s a short one, i am here. which alludes to his new song. and for gg it’s smooth sailing and good health which is his wish for the new year.
then at 1/9, very early into it, the re-issued the card sets and this time the two were separated. your guess is as good as mine on why this was done. lol.
weibo night never shied away from the whole xz and wyb cp before when it was considered “acceptable”. here is an example of an actual post back in 2020 where they even used the GGDD nickname for them. at the time, it was okay cause they were the hottest “pair” with cql as a breakthrough drama. personally, i think weibo night was being very sneaky initially posting it that way. trying to drum up an audience but then so/os had to go ahead and be salty about it so it had to be split. i’m not gonna stop saying it, a reason why very little interaction is done between them — it’s partly to not upset their “fans”. it is what it is. solo fandoms in c-ent is serious business & something very understandable in an industry perspective.
but again, that’s just me and maybe cpfs reading too much into it. feel free to have your own interpretation.
II. The Official Announcement
On 1/9 at 11:30 yibo posted that he is attending the event. yibo-official also shared some reminders to not gather and disrupt public order when they go. A coincidence cause at the same time XZ posted about his Portrait magazine. which makes sense and may not be even about cpn but it’s still nice to get notifications from them on weibo 😂😂😂
Then at 15:54, XZ finally posted. XZS also came in and shared it with the reminder.
and so it was confirmed that they are both attending the ceremony. this day was also kinda busy for them cause wyb’s loewe campaign was also released and gg had his portrait magazine interview also out.
it’s safe to say that cpfs were pretty busy ^^
after that, later in the evening, their video messages were also published by weibo night. here is a combined video of that:
1/10, as expected, there was a lot of chatter on who will be attending — particularly the CPs who will be there. it is relevant in the sense that there are a couple of hot drama CPs that will be attending. but with all the polls from various blogs, the top vote is always BJYX. lol. so strong!
they are not a “CP” in that sense tho. they are real!
III. Pre Show
WYB started off pretty early by posting a teaser of his look for the night. some are saying it reminds them of what he wore for 11.11 night when XZ was also there.
There was also a video showing the seating arrangement. It appears that they only have 4 people separating them. tho it’s not a guarantee of anything but this is close! some don’t like the number assigned for yibo tho cause it’s row 2 seat 27. 227. ugh.
It doesn’t stop there tho!!!!!
there is a photothat the number was folded up so it won’t be visible. it was removed by staff (video). cpfs are crying over this cause it may have been requested to be removed by wyb due to the negative connotation. he also changed positions with LX. he really went that far! people are saying that it’s easy to change seats, so why did the number have to be torn apart? there is no need to do that. also, changing seats with LX means WYB will be away from the center so it does not benefit him. idk who gave that number to WYB, but he definitely won’t be used to bully XZ or start some bad rumor. he is truly a boss! he protects xz in ways like this. i cannot 😭😭😭😭😭
i love this comment about it: wyb is not only sitting in that position, he wants that number to disappear.
and oh, Tod’s is one of the major sponsor of Weibo Night. XZ’s ad is playing on the big screen of the venue. Will WYB see it? lol
IV. Red Carpet
WYB ( video )
I prefer this look from last year! Thom Browne is good for him. plus that cape and his hair 🫶🏼 i would have loved it if he participated with what they were doing in the carpet and did the interview, but weibo is trash so i guess it’s okay. lol.
red carpet photoshoot
XZ ( video )

RED! it’s his color! plus some sparkles. this one is a custom look from GUCCI. i’m kinda bummed out that he did a group red carpet. i think they are the guest of honors and weibo’s way of getting a top hot search. but he still shined! he was so tall!!!!!!!
i’m gonna put this candies here cause they seem to be “red carpet related”. but i’m really cackling over how we manage to put their outfits together as “marriage” outfits once more 😂😂😂😂 lol. cause xz is in red and wyb in black.
some are also curious about gg’s huge ass ring. 👀 ( it’s by boucheron tho )
and the hot search related to xz is whose groom is he but of course there is only one answer. it’s wyb. lol. please stop giving us ammunition to watch! y’all know cpfs are so ready today!
-END (ish) to be continued. ☺️
#yizhan#bjyx#there is no science here i’m just clowning like i always do#THE SWITCHING OF SEATS OMG BO GE IS SO PROTECTIVE I CANT

can I request a fluffy beach date with Wanda drabble? I love your work 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Drabble || Beach Date
Pairings: Wanda Maximoff x GN! Reader
Summary: Wanda whisks you away for a long awaited day off.
Fluff
Warnings: This is not proof read or corrected! | 0.6K
AC: Thank you for sending this! It made me miss summer even more than I do now haha! I hope you enjoy x
The windows were down, Wanda's hair was flying freely with the wind as she pulled up to the parking lot of the beach. The weather was perfect, not too hot but just warm enough to let the sun kindly kiss your sunscreen protected skin.
The day came as a surprise, Wanda had woken you up with a light breakfast in bed and the car already packed and ready for the two hour drive. You had been really diving yourself into your work which worried Wanda a little but she trusted that you wouldn't wear yourself out but she wanted to make sure you would take time for yourself aswell. She peeped at your work roaster and planned when the best time for his surprise date would take place.
"I'm surprised it's not too busy" you said, closing the passenger door.
"Don't jinx it!" Wanda chuckled as she popped open the trunk of the car. She grabbed a couple of bags, while you helped her with the rest. You set up the small beach tent before Wanda placed plenty of throw pillows and a few blankets inside for comfort.
"The water look so nice" you commented, taking off your flip flops and placing them inside the tent, "are you coming?" you asked before taking off your shirt and bottoms, your swimsuit underneath.
Pulling her t-shirt over her head, she smiled, "last one in is a rotten egg!" she chuckled before racing off towards the water.
"You little cheat!" you called out before running after her.
The water was cool, refreshing on your ankles as you just caught up to Wanda, wrapping your warms around her waist and tackling her into the water. She squealed at the slight coldness of the water touching the rest of her body as she turned in your arms and wrapping her arms around the back of your neck. "You're such a sore loser" she said.
"Only when you cheat!" you replied before kissing her softly.
"Hey, if cheating gets me kisses, then I guess it isn't so bad" she playfully winked as you gently pulled her closer. You chuckled at her words, "I'll kiss you anytime you want" you said before kissing her softly once more.
----
After a long and relaxing swim, you and Wanda made bets on who could build the best sandcastle, of course one of the main rules was Wanda wasn't allowed to use her magic but you were sure she used it once or twice.
After that, you were cuddling comfortably in the small tent, Wanda had a book in her hand while she rested gently against your chest as you watched the sun begin to set.
Freshly cut slices of your favourite fruit was lightly picked at as you admired the view and the relaxing sound of waves crashing on the shoreline. Every now and then Wanda would turn the page of her book which would bring your attention back to her.
You placed a soft kiss on the top of her head, causing her to smile softly, "how's your book baby?" you asked.
"It's interesting" she replied softly, "a few good plot twists" she added.
Carefully, you took the book from Wanda's hands causing her to look up at you as you smiled softly at her, "I think I can come up with a better plot twist" you said, pecking the tip of her nose which always made her chuckle. "I hope the plot twist is you driving home so I can have a nap in the car" she said.
"I knew there was a catch to this date" you laughed.
"Not for me, I already caught my date" Wanda playfully chuckled.
"Your jokes are so bad, you know that right?" you replied
"As if they don't make you love me even more"
"You got that right" you smiled before Wanda turned in your warms once more, kissing you deeply.
