resellers are the enemy of people
#i'm looking up coldplay tickets but even with 2 more dates added in budapest all the official tickets has been sold out#and resellers are selling at 300% rn at best#at least i've already seen them in 2008 i'm not super up-to-date on their recent stuff anyway#i just hate this economy like it's one thing to have bought a ticket and change your mind#and another to buy up tickets in bulk so you can later sell it back to people at an extreme mark-up#we should stop buying shit from these people#kill it. kill it with fire.

hey smo where are places to get hype clothes at the best price in London?
OBVIOUSLY, the best way to get your hands on a hyped piece of clothing, for the lowest possible price, is from the actual retailer’s store/website on the day when they drop them (you have to be insanely quick though, and make literally, ZERO misclicks during the online checkout process). i don’t know how the stores are handling the drops these days bc i don’t follow it anymore but the last time i went to supreme they were implementing a ticket in line system ..
but the second-best method i can suggest, is definitely on facebook groups/communities. depending on the popularity of the piece you’re after, the price is subject to inflate accordingly (sometimes its p ridiculous, like 300% increase ridiculous) so you best either be lucky enough to cop at retail or wealthy enough to pay resell bc some pieces aren’t cheap if you take an L on the checkout. but there are some steals that come by occasionally on these groups if you keep an eye out for them…
anyway some of them that have really gained a lot of popularity/reputation in the past year or two are
1. The Basement
2. Supreme Talk UK/EU
3. Palace Talk UK/EU
4. Buying and Selling Raf Simons
5. Bape Talk UK/EU
6. Crepe City
… cant think of more rn sorry
and o ya, you will have to request to join these groups and pretty much all of them have developed quite a strict set of rules that you have to follow so its advisable to read them before you buy/sell anything. otherwise you risk getting a strike or even banned. also, be sure that the person you’re buying from is legitimate by carrying out “legit checks”… you’ll start to pick up on the vocab once u familiarize yourself with these groups..
all of them have a healthy number of members and most of them are friendly so its actually a rly nice experience to be a part of a community that shares similar interests to u… i definitely made quite a few friends back when i used to follow these kinda things more actively..
lol sorry this turned out be lengthy, have fun and good luck !
