putting the mob psycho cast in a severance au would legit be so fascinating
#something about how the characters are all so incredibly influenced by their personal history that stripping that from them leaves little#obviously you couldn't remove powers from this scenario but say for mob would that mean he'd basically go through his whole...#like. share his powers about until it backfires all over again? is it actually that inevitable? or would being surrounded by others help?#and reigen is all bluster + bluffing that I could imagine his innie would be so different it would be jarring. ordinary + earnest. bizarre.#and then teru. if he meets mob from the start then he would entirely bypass his centre of the world deal but may not jump to hero worship#bc that only happened in the first place due to how he defined himself. ritsu would probably lack the ingrained fear of powers but#his jealousy may manifest itself earlier if both teru and mob are there. would he still have the same connection to mob w/o his memories?#anyway anyway. I know severance aus could work for loads of series but I just think this one would be /fascinating/ from a chara study pov#mp100#severance
