vince making that post about how men's fashion could be taking interesting structural inspiration from various historical modes, but instead even an interesting suit is still always just A Modern Suit With A Superficial Twist has really helped to clarify my thoughts on men's fashion
anyway the only oscars looks worth a damn were eugene lee yang (not just the skirt, but the angled crop! the tapered sleeves! hell yeah), david oleyowo (do I spy a slightly dropped shoulder?), and riz ahmed (WAIST, and something fun's happening at that shirt collar!)
with a special shoutout to ryan gosling, not because it's all that interesting, but simply because I Like The Shiny Bits uvu
