dont know if this is a hot take exactly, but i hate when ppl call techno's voice "monotone", like actually. it's in literally every fanfic at this point. i don't know how anyone manages to watch his content and come to that conclusion, but it comes across as super judgemental, ESPECIALLY toward adhd + autistic folks

Aaah yeah. Fully agreed. Thanks for bringing it up. Is that really in fanfics that much? I don't really read many of them and that sounds like a red flag for me.

Yeah, I don't really know! It's sounds extremely frustrating. I think the word people are searching for is probably deadpan. (Which generally means saying something amusing in a fairly serious tone for added amusement.) Techno often delivers jokes and one-liners with fairly deadpan delivery which is an excellent part of his humour. This is very different from actually calling him unemotional and his voice monotone which is rather offensive and untrue.

Yeah, I saw a lot of this several months ago but I see it far less now which I am thankful for. I'm hopeful that the community on tumblr at least has learned. I have no idea how to tackle the issue in fanfics though and it sounds really pervasive from what you say.
