Hi! You’ve lived in madrid, right? Would it be okay if I asked you some questions about expenses/living there? I want to do my masters in Spain and I’m trying to evaluate wether it would be financially possible and also what city I should choose.

yes, i live in madrid!!! i'll gladly help you! i have to say madrid is one of the most expensive cities in spain to live in, but of course depending on your budget or where you're from it could be okayish? there's also more affordable places in the metro area, and depending on what uni you'll be attending it might be even better to not live in the center, idk let me know how can i help you and / or what are your options !!!!

#ask #it's funny because i was talking about the living expense in madrid with my mum during lunch time today #one of her colleagues from sewing class had rented this one appartment she has in the city #for 1500€. it's a one bedroom apartment btw #the worst thing is. the price is actually not that bad 😭#we were talking about how even with two salaries it would be rough to cover the rent and then have enough to eat and live #and yeah.#but again anon i imagine it all depends on your budget and whatnot!!#as i'm concerned. madrid and especially barcelona are pretty bad in terms of rent prices #and pretty much any touristy cities you can think of (palma. málaga. anywhere on the canary islands)
