Greetings my fellow humans I have seen the original TOH pilot and I am going insane. HEADMISTRESS LILITH?? AND WHAT WAS HER BAT TRANSFORMATION WAS SHE ORIGINALLY THE CURSED ONE? OR WAS THAT SOMETHING THAT WITCHES JUST DO AT WILL?? (SHE’S SO CUTE LOOK AT HER ) I HAVE QUESTIONS !

(Her bat form remind me of the Chiropterans from my fav anime next to Pokemon: Blood + 😭!!) Anyways her interactions with Eda were so fun !! Man I would have been so curious to see where she ended up at the end ! And her relationship to Obron. Speaking of which, sounds pretty ruthless! So it turns out the gems on their clothes originally did have a purpose (apart from showing Eda’s curse progressing). They can shock you! Reminds me of the shock collars in the original Zootopia storyboards.

I read from the pitch that Eda is offered to heal her curse (which appears to just cause her to age?) in return for giving them Luz. Apparently a human soul is required for whatever Obron wants to do. Curious that it is mentioned there are more stray humans than just Luz… but he still wants HER (and not William? Hmmm). ANYWAY yeah this… COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what we got. 😭 Lilith being headmistress sounds so cool to me, but I do wonder if this version of her was also gonna get redemption considering she seems more cold.

•Phantom’s Lair is connected to Danny’s lairs and if you are in one the other knows your there

•Phantom has thrown hands with Constantine multiple times (when they first met Constantine tried to flirt with Danny for some protection charms or something, Danny finds this hilarious)

•Phantom trains the undead army due to being the Ancient of War and battle (Pariah Dark gave up the title when he became king. You can’t be a Ancient and King at the some time you have to pick one or the other)

•Phantom is constantly bickering with the other Ancients during meetings while Danny and Clockwork are having a lovely chat about one thing or the other

•Danny adores watching the hero’s (and make fun of them a bit )

•Pariah Dark and Clockwork act as Fathers to Danny

•Danny is extremely floaty like actually floaty, he’s constantly floating around

•Danny and Phantom have the healthiest relationship you will ever see

•People of old would pray to Danny for love and mercy in battle

•And they would pray for Phantom for despair and victory in battle

•Phantom is a bit overprotective of Danny but Danny’s fine with it he finds it sweet

•If you need to find one of them you find the other, they are always together

•Pariah Dark and Phantom have “Put up with” type of son-in-law and father-in-law relationship

•Constantine still try’s to flirt with Danny it pisses Phantom right TF off ( This is not a ship, it’s playful flirting and Danny never flirts back but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t piss Phantom TF off )

•The Ancients have cults in their names like greek gods did ( the most common ones were Dionysus and Aphrodite )

•When Ghost court one of the most important things are jewelry and flowers and sometimes food it really depends on the ghost

•Phantom is a SIMP for Danny and he wears that like a badge of honor

•Danny calls Clockwork “Papa” and Pariah dark “father”

•Clockwork calls Danny “ Pearl” due to his liking of them

•Pariah dark just calls Danny “My child” or something to that extent

•Pariah dark is hella salty about Phantom two reasons one because he is the new Ancient of war he knew it would happen still don’t mean he isn’t salty and two he is married to his son that he is a bit protective over so yeah they have…fun son-in-law and father-in-law relationship 

•it’s not that rare for when Danny and Phantom visit to find Phantom and Pariah Dark fist-fighting in the background as Clockwork and Danny talk

•There is a very private part of Danny’s garden where there are teal, purple and red/yellow flowers ( Phantom got him the seeds for the flowers )

•Danny will call Phantom “My darling” or “My husband” but he will only call him phantom when he messed up and is about to be banish to the couch

Orion and the Dark was a very cute, very sweet movie that absolutely knocked my brain back to my 2012 ROTG brainrot

Kinda obsessed with the historical context of Rise of the Guardians. Pitch wanting the Dark Ages to come back, which historically was the decline of culture and records. The Guardians rose at the same time as the Renaissance with the rise of culture, knowledge, and science. (Tooth in particular mentions that she hasn’t been out in the field for 440 years, give or take, which would put that smack dab in the middle of the Renaissance) 

The way Pitch doesn’t want the world to change, the way the Guardians change in tune with the world. The way Jack, who lived in has a human in the 17th or 18th century, who lived in the time after the Renaissance and lived witnessing the world all the way to the modern era, is there to show the Guardians how much they missed and how they can further change and improve for the more modern world. These characters are immortal beings who have so much power over the world, it makes so much sense that when they fall and rise in power it impacts the world that they want to influence, for better or for worse.

It's been a while since you've blessed us with some blackice, might I ask for that seen from Shattered Pieces (I think it was like ch28 or something) when Pitch has his head pressed to Dark Jack's and he's cupping his face after refusing to hurt him (it's right before Tooth stabs Jack in the side)?

Damn ur right it has been a while and I especially missed drawing them in the context of Shattered Pieces ;w; getting some dark jack angst out of my system felt good, even if it’s extremely messy…
