I've realized everyone has a different interpretation of how much Dazai covers his body with bandages so here's a poll (from least coverage-most coverage):

Inside Out vs. Inside Out 2
#personally I mostly prefer her old design#I think her clothing and hair got a massive upgrade and her body model looks so much better in the second film.#but her expressions and overall animation are so good in the original film#she went from a loose elasticity to a rubber elasticity which feels a bit too smooth. I liked her sloppy and loose cartoonishness#her particle texture and colors too. I don't like how glossy and Super Blue she is in the second film#she felt like she was a fuzzy cloth-like material with the fluidity of water in the first film. do you think eiffel had long hair on earth? or did it only start once he went up to space where he no longer had access to haircuts. do you think he's ever tried cutting his own hair? (either on earth or the hephaestus.) how badly did it turn out?
yes!! okay. i have a post here. i think he's had long-ish hair since he was a teenager (with the exception of when he was in the air force and, like... someone on that post commented that his daughter has definitely cut his ponytail off at some point + he's definitely had like, emergency haircuts on account of getting gum stuck in it, etc. and i think that's completely true. but like, i don't think he's been getting it cut short on purpose.) he's not the kind of person who puts a lot of care into his appearance + i think he's got pretty thick, curly hair that takes forever to dry, so it'd be a lot more practical for him if he kept it shorter, but, well. he's stubborn.
#he's probably trimmed it himself to like. varying degrees of success. not that he doesn't have his points of vanity but#he's a pretty sloppy guy overall i don't think he's overly concerned about it. like. tangential. the reason i think he wears cheap generic#star wars logo tee is because it's cheap. i don't believe eiffel goes clothes shopping on purpose literally ever he just buys stuff at#walmart when the stuff he already has becomes actually unwearable. and very little else.#asks

Seems to be an unpopular opinion in the rather small Sweet Tooth fandom but I LOVE Dr. Singh, what an absolutely fascinating character, such a pathetic and compelling and morally... er, questionable guy
#questionable is definitely *definitely* an understatement#love Rani too#but yeah he's *such* an interesting character. exceptionally written.. most of the time#i think there are points especially in s3 where it's a little sloppy#but overall really great character. the character writing throughout the series is (mostly) gold#the base concept his character follows is great. you can get some story inspiration out of it i think

mannn its rough over there for dungeon meshi animeers this last episode was not very well done
#like first of all. dragon looks like shit.#animation and art style are getting more sloppy#and i cant tell yet what exact element about the overall show is sucking away all of the dungeon meshi charm#but i think theres just some core atmosphere to it that the anime is mistranslating#also. the comedic moments dont land.#with the vnc anime being the absolute worst case shit fuck soul sucking garbage scenario#dungeon meshi anime isn't that bad.

Amazing how it took the developers of Poppy Playtime two whole chapters to finally make a bare minimum of a functional game
#like yeah its leagues above the previous chapters but thats because the previous chapters were a hittily put together sloppy buggy mess that#shouldnt have been released in the way that they are right now. Chapter 3 is what chapter 1 should have been like#and yeah it's still a cashgrab at heart. its so distateful that they already made merch for chapter 3 that you could buy BEFORE it even#released. theyre 100% money driven. but at least if chapter 4 improves even more on what was in chapter 3 i think it can be a decent game#i dont think it can ever be a GOOD game because of what a disaster of two first chapters it has. not unless they completely rework them. and#with its story reaching its end slowly i doubt there even is time to make it a good game even if the last chapters are amazing in quality.#even if the last chapters are GREAT (which i doubt) it will never be anything else than a highly mixed medicore at best game. because it'll#always have this shitty developer studios' greed and the shitshow that were the first 2 chapters weighing it down#honestly. if chapter 3 or something akin to it was the first thing that was released of this game i would have actually liked it. yeah it#wouldnt be GREAT but it'd be decent and enjoyable. but instead it has its garbage first chapters staining what it could have been. it's#insane that I even have to praise a developer studio for delivering a BARE MINIMUM of a game. what the fuck is this. what happened to the#state of games. its shameful that releasing a barely functional nothing burger and charging for it became acceptable in any way#that aside even chapter 3 could improve in many areas. it feels more like a puzzle game with horror elements rather than a horror game with#puzzle elements. every time you get to a puzzle the game just halts to a complete stop. all the suspence they could have gotten just#completely dies on the spot. ive played and watched many horror games with puzzles in them and i like them a lot but this is just not how#you do that. it feels like youre walking from puzzle to a puzzle and all the interesting things that happen with actual substance happen in#between puzzles but instead of focusing on that it feels like the game focuses on the puzzles. it should be the other way around damn it#but i think if chapter 4 keeps the overall quality of chapter 3 and ups the scares while dailing down the puzzles or incorporating them#better into the atmosphere and story it might actually be a good horror game. well that chapter at least.#also ik the monster designs are very...mascot horror and analogue horror cliches but i actually enjoy them. Mummy Longlegs was medicore and#forgetful like the rest of her chapter and her only saving grace was her death scene. Huggy Wuggy's (god what a name) design and animations#and chase sequence were the only good thing of chapter 1 so i think if it was put into something of much better quality then it could#actually hold up. And I really like CatNap's design for some reason. The way he moves is creepy and yeah the face design is goofy as hell#but i can forgive it. i like that the fumes he releases makes you see him as a far creepier monster than he is that took me by surprise.#Also his death scene FUCKED severely by far the best scene in the entire game imo. Also I actually enjoyed his story? i cant believe im#saying this but chapter 3 and analogue horror videos actually got me interested in this game's story and where it will go. Insane.#and speaking of the analogue horror videos they made are good. WAY too good. I dont trust like that. They for sure hired somebody to make#them for them theres no way in hell they didnt. But yeah thats my opinion on this series. Over all not a good game and a complete cash grab#dont buy it there are way better games out there even in the mascot horror genere. But the quality did go up and it gets me hopeful#anyway my impromtu poopy playtime review's over

#tales from diana#i had arbitrarily told myself i would save two noble kinsmen as the last shakespeare play id read#of the extant 38. for several reasons#it's a romance. it's based off the knight's tale. that gives me smth to look forward to#but if henry viii is an example of his collaboration w fletcher... sheesh#bc that was SLOPPY#how are you gonna have all the mess and drama from the reign of henry viii to pull from#and all you give us is... that?#that's the least tudor tea ive ever seen in my LIFE. you had so much opportunity#like im surprised at just how dull and amorphous it was#like all shakespeare plays it had moments of beautiful verse but overall. so malformed.#im guessing that is fletcher's pen in there making it seem so less like the better author#not that im condemning fletcher ive not read much of his work#but ohhhh my god#i was thinking recently abt how nobody needs to make any more dramas or novels or movies#about henry viii or any of his wives. it's been done to death. what's even the purpose anymore?#go read or watch things that already exist. there's no new angle to take on the material#but it's amazing how one of the earliest dramatized takes on his reign. by the most famous playwright EVER#is so artistically weak and uninteresting. wow. wow!

NEVER TRUST TV TROPES BTW TV TROPES IS A LYING FUCK.
#the page for echo claimed that the best you could hope for for any of the endings would be bittersweet at best#but like i just finished carl's route (the good ending at least) and yeah sure [!!! SPOILERS INCOMING !!!] he & chase don't end up together#but my god they might as well have fucked sloppy style & gotten married for how much happier it was compared to tj's ending LMAOOOO#LIKE????? IFYKYK LOL#also only semi-related but after finishing tj's route i looked it up to see if there was a general agreed-upon recommendation for which#order to play all the routes in and only then discovered that most people think you should play tj second to last (followed by flynn)#which at the time i thought would kinda ruin the experience of playing through the rest of the game since tj's route#has some pretty major spoilers for the game as a whole. but luckily (& idk if maybe this is just because i liked carl so much)#it didn't make me any less interested in what was happening. in fact i think it helped put some things into perspective overall#even though they weren't very relevant at all this time around.#but well. anyway. suffice to say this was a much needed palette cleanser after tj's route 😭#the only thing i can't decide is whether i should go for the bad endings for carl's route before moving on or not. i probably should...#..but i don't want to LOL. at least not yet#echo tag#echo spoilers#🎮 tag#send tweet
