Why is the Gallagher prem so unserious we’ve had major officiating controversies two weeks in a row
#like. last week was the missed red card bc the TMO didn’t want to check bc the commentator had flagged it first#(the TMO was caught saying this on live broadcast bc his mic was on)#and now this week they gave someone a 7 minute yellow card (supposed to be 10 mins)#and outside of the egregious errors there’s been some right silliness in other matches too#some refs are just allowing forward passing now but some are really strict abt it#I mean I every ref Is enforcing different laws thw quality of officiating atm is just subpar#like i get it’s the sports equivalent of the french constitution bc it literally has so many laws it’s insane and impossible to enforce them#all (bc some cancel eachother out…)#but errors of this magnitude cannot be happening every weekend it’s terrible for Pr in a time where the sport is already suffering
