We need to stop discussing animated films until we all figure it out somehow. Just saw someone say with their chest that Hoodwinked needs an "HD remake". Behave yourself.
#ab.txt#GOOOODDD I hate reboot-remake culture get me off of this train#genuinely what would shiny unreal engine ass visuals add to the film. nothing#everyone complains about how bad it looks but the animation does literally everything it needs to and is distinctive#this isn't just me fighting to the death for a film I was glued to as a kid though#because I'll also explode if people demand one more classic animated film gets rendered to 3d or made into a grey filtered live action#BORING!!!!!!!! it's so BORING#same with video games#sometimes a remake is okay. sometimes.#but I am so sick of anything that slightly shows its age suddenly needing a new version substituting raytracing for PASSION#I'm sure plenty of authors wish they wrote their first book differently. I'm sure many directors have gripes with their first film#but there's something beautiful about it existing as the project of passion it originally transpired from#and often the complaint people have it moreso with it not being shiny beautiful and marketable enough#not standard polished and generic enough
