thinking about... byan getting overstimulated but not recognizing it as being that, and it resulting in them lashing out (often violently) because they don't?? know what's wrong or what to do about it???
#thinking about some of their acting out as a kid being due to unrecognized sensory overload#at this point I really am just leaning in to them being adhd like it literally fits it makes so much sense#me processing my own (probable but currently undiagnosed) neurodivergence keeps solidifying this fact to me#and ofc makes me think more about byan and their traits and how they respond to & deal with it#before I learned about sensory overload this was me (minus the violence)#like I just Did Not understand why everything would suddenly get painful and why I'd get so angry ahdgjsg#definitely strikes me as the sort of experience byan would have and like. as a kid who already has a tendency to act out...#the idea of overstimulation always went completely overlooked#I think even into adulthood they just have no idea that it's what they're experiencing so they have no idea how to cope#anyway...... just thinking today...#━━ ˟ ⊰ ✰ ooc ⋮ don’t @ me.
