You probably have tons of other requests so you can skip mine or do it later, I won't mind. 🙈 What if the warlords have a very young little sister and they found out she had been bullied by other princesses/kids? Like one day she came back and her long beautiful hair was cut hideously like a little boy and she was crying. What would they do? You can do any warlords but please include Nobunaga and Mitsuhide. 🥹 Thanks!
Hi cherry! You are always welcome to make a request. And while I do have a lot of them, I will try my best to answer as many as possible!
The warlord’s little sister suffers bullying.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga is a doting brother, he would spoil his young sister with everything she wanted (but he also knew how to teach her about the real world). But he was unaware of the mistreatment she suffered with the kids from other noble families, he learned about it the rough way. His little sister comes back crying, her hair a big mess.
He will first comfort her and then seek revenge. He will intimidate the kids with his natural scary aura, which will make the kids apologize to his little sister immediately. Of course, afterwards he will ask the maids to give her a cute new haircut so that she looked adorable. No one dared bully her again.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Mitsuhide may look like a cunning fox, and he is, but he can also be very sweet and caring. He is a doting brother and cares for his little sister and makes sure she feels happy, he only shows this side of him to her. He is also very protective, which is why he knew something strange was happening. He got his confirmation when his little sister comes back crying. Oh, he was going to make those who made her cry pay.
Mitsuhide “gently” threatened the parents of the kids who bullied his sister to educate their children better, and made sure to make the kids scared of him (he didn’t even do anything, he just smiled and that was enough to make the kids scared).
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Despite his scary aura, kenshin can be very gentle and protective. When it comes to his little sister, he will take care of her and spoil her. But she hardly ever got to go outside since Kenshin worried about her, but when she did… children aren’t kind. Needless to say that kenshin had a murderous aura around him when he saw his young sister crying, her hair all messy and cut short.
Of course, he was reminded by Sasuke and shingen that he shouldn’t attack children, so he decided to go for the parents. Again, he was warned to just talk. Sasuke decided to go with him so that he could keep Kenshin under control. His little sister got a new haircut from Yoshimoto, who made a cute short haircut.
Shingen Takeda
Shingen is even more of a doting brother, sometimes people would think that he is her father, not her big brother. Regardless, she was a spoiled princess, who received a lot of education from shingen. But, since she was still a little kid, she didn’t know how to defend herself. That ended up causing in her suffering from bullying.
Shingen was devastated to learn what happened, he would have a very serious talk with the children’s parents. Meanwhile, he decided to comfort his sister with sweets. She felt a lot better eventually.

I watched this drama for Shison Jun. Because, well, it's Shison Jun. And also, he played Kurama, my favorite character in YYH. And I did like his Kurama, I liked him a lot. Especially his love for his mother and his relationship with Hiei. And his youkai form, of course! But!
My favorite character ended up being Kuwabara whom I honestly didn't twink about twice before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But the LA version of him pressed all my buttons. What a good boy of a rascal! So sweet and caring and just... lovely. And Uesugi Shuhei was perfect in this part.
Yusuke I didn't care about much, to be honest, even though he was played by Kitamura Takumi. He simply didn't click for me.
Overall, not a bad way how to spend a couple of evenings because the fights and the CGI are excellent, if nothing else, but I don't think I'll be re-watching it any time soon.

Chapter Nine: Girl Talk - Gossip session, assassination attempt, and nudity, oh my...
Shingen x OC; Kenshin x MC (Mai)
Previous Chapter: here
Logline - Disguised as a boy, Katsuko finds herself working for Shingen, but her dangerous masquerade becomes difficult to sustain when she falls for the man with a fatal secret.
Shingen’s early morning visit had ruined any hope I had of getting any quality sleep. While I managed to doze off once, my sleep was fitful, and filled with dreams that began with a promise of continuing what Shingen and I had started at the lake, then slid into the inevitable nightmare of being trapped in a small dark space. Eventually I gave up on sleep, and decided to get an early start on delivering Shingen’s messages, rather than spending another hour staring at the window, waiting for dawn.
The sun was rising when I got into the town, and most shops were not yet open. Still there were plenty of people out and about, travelers wanting to get an early start, shop keepers setting up their stalls for the day, and …
Wait…was that…?
Had that been Kyubei who disappeared between buildings? What was Mitsuhide’s courier doing here? The Oda and the Uesugi-Takeda forces were in an uneasy peace, brokered by both sides’ mutual affection for Mai. If Kyubei was here on Mitsuhide’s reconnaissance, I wanted to know why. Maybe it had something to do with the attack a couple weeks ago?
Abruptly changing directions, I hurried to catch up, but when I got to the alley, the only person there was the owner of the adjacent restaurant, who was tossing scraps of fish to a muddle of homeless cats. “Good morning, Katsu,” he said to me. “You’re out and about early.”
Making friends with the local shopkeepers had paid off. “Good morning, Susumu. My lord had some urgent messages to go out.” I leaned over to scritch the top of the head of a calico as she gnawed on a fish skin. “By chance did you see anyone run through here a moment ago?”
Susumu shook his head. “I stepped outside right before you got here.” He paused in thought. “I did hear something up above though.”
“Thank you.” I bowed to him, then climbed up to the roof. There were some scuff marks on the roof – I followed them across the roof where they dead ended. From here, whoever had made the marks could have either jumped to the next roof or climbed back into the street. I picked rooftop as my best guess, but the trail was already cold. I wasn’t even certain that it had been Kyubei; it had been a blink or you’ll miss it sighting, so maybe I had imagined him? Still – Kyubei would be a very random figure for my imagination to produce. Sure, I occasionally thought I saw Iekane lurking around – but that was understandable, since he still haunted my nightmares. Kyubei hadn’t played nearly that large of a role in my life.
I resolved to pay more attention, to be ready to follow, in case I saw him again.
Tumblr media
After returning to the castle, I headed for Shingen’s quarters with the incoming messages. I knocked softly on the door, but there was neither a “come in” nor a “go away” response. I slid the door open wide enough to check if he was there (alone or otherwise).
Of course, he was still asleep, peacefully – after all the disquiet he’d caused me (both as myself and as Katsu) this past night – and (!) under the fabric he had taken from me. For one very brief moment, I was tempted to steal it back, but dismissed that immediately as a very bad idea. Instead, I simply dropped his messages off on his desk, then tiptoed away, pausing at the doorway to look back. He didn’t even snore or drool. Unfair.
Before heading out to the archery grounds, I detoured into the room I had meant to investigate the previous night. Yes, it was a storage room, full of fabric that I presumed Mai had been holding for some project or other. Maybe she’d be willing to inventory it and let me know if anything was missing. Since I was due to meet her soo – whoops, now, and would be late if I didn’t pick up the pace- I stuck that request in the front of my mind.
Inspired by my archery exhibition, Mai was determined to master the skill as well. For a complete beginner, she wasn’t terrible, by which I mean that her arrows at least went in the same general direction as the target. But she was impatient with her progress. “Why can’t I do this?”
“It takes time. When I first started learning, my shots went so far left that I kept hitting the stables.” I sent another arrow to the center of the target. “I’ve been practicing for nearly seven years. How long did it take you to learn how to make clothes like you do?”
“Several years,” she admitted.
She started to say something else, but I wanted to ask about the storeroom before I forgot. “That room by the south garden, where you keep your fabrics. Would you be able to tell if something was missing?”
“Maybe? The expensive and rarer pieces sure. The cottons or hemps, unlikely. Why?” She lifted the bow for another go at the target.
“Don’t keep your elbows locked, or your muscles will be sore later.” I demonstrated the correct stance, before answering her question. “I think there was someone messing around in there last night.”
Mai shrugged. “Probably one of the maids and a vassal having a tryst. Speaking of-”
Oh no, we’re not going there. I gave her a different piece of information to distract her. “Could be. Although I used to be a maid, and by the end of the day I was usually too tired to do anything except sleep.”
Bait taken. “You were a maid before you were a courier?” Mai aimed another arrow and stared at the target until she almost looked cross-eyed.
“Relax your shoulders a little, you’re thinking too hard.” I stepped back and eyed her stance. It otherwise looked fine.  “Mostly I helped in the kitchen… though I scrubbed a lot of floors too. It was the most boring existence I could have possibly imagined, so I was really motivated to acquire other skills.”
“Makes sense.” She gave me a sly look out of the corner of her eye. “By the way, did you enjoy your bath?”
Aaaaand she’s not going to let this go. While I was figuring out how to answer that, she sent another arrow in the general direction of the target.
Air ball.
“Closer. Except you don’t need to stick your tongue out when you aim.” I handed her another arrow. “I mean, you can if it helps, but it does tend to ruin the aesthetics.”
“Noted.” She aimed again, keeping her mouth firmly shut until she sent the arrow… well, nowhere. “So. The lake?”
I got the feeling she already knew what had happened. “It was cold. Very cold.”
Mai giggled. “You wouldn’t have happened to have noticed someone else there, would you? A tall, muscular, flirtatious someone else there?”
Oh, I noticed. I didn’t realize my hand had crept up to touch my lips until Mai giggled again.
“You wouldn’t be asking if you didn’t already know the answer to that.” I figured she was more interested in gossip than a lesson, so I picked up my own bow, aimed and tried to shut out the fact that the mere act of touching my lips and thinking of Shingen had sent a residual buzz through my body.
“Well, it might be possible that a tall, muscular and flirtatious person stopped in to the banquet last night to lecture Sasuke about keeping better track of his ground spikes, and he might also, possibly have mentioned that he sustained the ground spike injury in pursuit of a Moon Goddess.” She wasn’t even pretending to work at this point. “So…?”
Is this what I missed by not having close female friends? “So, Sasuke needs a better ground spike bag. You should get on that, seamstress.” I shut out her words and sent five arrows straight and true to the furthest targets.
“Katsuko, there are hardly any other women around to talk to. I miss hearing details.” She gave me puppy eyes, which was a skill I was unaware she possessed. “I’d be happy to tell you details about Kenshin. Like the fact that he can keep it going all-“
I put my hands over my ears. TMI, Mai. “I don’t need to hear details.”
Mai nodded sagely. “Because it would give you another sex shiver, like the one you had a moment ago when you touched your lips.”
“I did not have a-” realizing I was yelling, I lowered my voice. “Sex shiver.”
I totally had a sex shiver.
I sighed. Fine. Apparently, we were not going to be able to have a conversation that would pass the Bechdel test. “He stole the fabric, bargained for a kiss and I ended up naked in a tree. Can we move on now?”
“Yes.” She aimed, then paused, turning toward me again. “No. At least tell me how the kiss was.”
“It nearly burned my eyebrows off.”
Mai sighed, fanned herself, then asked. “What are you going to do next?”
“Nothing.” I had had a close call, learned my lesson, and Katsuko would never again be seen anywhere near here. There was too much to lose… and nothing to gain. “He thinks she’s a spy.”
“She? You mean you?” Mai turned back to her practice and sent her arrow toward the target. The wind was going to grab it in a second though. “Oh I’m going to … not hit the target. I thought had that one.”
“It was the wind. I could tell you some advice on how to shoot with the wind, but let’s first learn the basics.” I trotted out to retrieve my arrows from the target and pick hers up from the grounds.
“You’re avoiding the subject on purpose!” she called after me.
Yes. Yes I am.
I returned and handed her back her arrows. “It’s easier if you focus and concentrate on what you’re doing.”
I took aim for another shot.
Mai perfectly timed her next question. “You mean you haven’t even considered repeating that experience … or taking it further?”
Reverb.
My shot didn’t get anywhere near the target. Mai smirked at me. “You should focus and concentrate on what you’re doing.”
“Katsu, I’ve never seen you miss a shot that badly,” Yoshimoto said, as he emerged from around the castle carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows.
“Mai distracted me,” I muttered as I set up another shot, concentrated on the wind, and sent the arrow true to the center of the target. There.
Yoshimoto set himself up on the other side of Mai. “How is the lesson going?”
“I haven’t hit the target yet.” Mai sighed, then sent me an evil look. “But I’m learning all kinds of interesting things.”
Luckily, Yoshimoto was too busy setting up his shot to ask for further details. He sent an arrow zipping into the target, although not dead center.
“The wind is terrible,” Mai noted. Then apparently realizing she’d teased me more than enough, she added, “Katsuhira was telling me how he accounts for the wind.”
“It’s not anything magic,” I said. “I just listen. You can hear a shift in direction through the leaves and the grass.”
For a moment we were all quiet. I lined up another shot, my attention fully on the sound of the air and the rustle of the leaves, and it was quiet enough to hear something else – the twang of another bow string in the distance.
I didn’t need to look to know there would be an arrow heading for us, and I was yelling a warning even before I turned to see Yoshimoto move faster than I had ever seen him move, grab Mai’s arm and dive left, covering her with his body, while I somersaulted to the right, landing hard on a rock, as –
The arrow thudded into the ground right past Mai had been standing. If Yoshimoto hadn’t pulled her out of its path, it would have buried itself in her heart.
For a long moment, none of use moved, listening, waiting for another arrow to come zipping out of the sky, but the archer must have decided that now we were on alert, further attempts were too risky.
Then I was running toward the wall, hoping that when I cleared it, I would still have some hope of finding the attacker. But once again, I was too late. All I saw was the cover of trees. There wasn’t even a swaying of branches or broken underbrush to give a hint of a hiding place. Likely whoever had shot at Mai was long gone.
When I returned to the grounds, Mai and Yoshimoto were arguing about whether or not to tell Kenshin. “It’s too soon – I can’t put him through that again,” Mai said. “Maybe it was an accident.”
Yoshimoto and I looked at each other. His mouth was set in a grim, stern line. Not an accident.
No, I didn’t agree with her decision. But I couldn’t overrule her either. Except now, I was the only one with the knowledge that there had been two assassination attempts on someone within Kenshin’s orbit.
The conflict must have shown on my face, because Mai said, “Please, don’t tell anyone, Katsu.”
“It’s not my call.” I sighed. Mai had kept my secret, and I wouldn’t be a very good friend if I didn’t keep hers. “But he needs to know.”
I yanked the assassin’s arrow out of the ground and examined it to see if it had any distinctive markings. The feathers were Sea Eagle – no help, as those were found on practically every coastline. I didn’t immediately notice any other identifiable features. I passed it to Yoshimoto. “Does this look familiar?”
Yoshimoto looked it over, then shook his head. “There’s nothing unusual about it. But even if there were, I doubt I would notice.” Right. Unless Leonardo Da Vinci had painted the Mona Lisa on the shaft, Yoshimoto would be oblivious. He continued. “I agree someone needs to be told though. If not Kenshin, tell Shingen. He’s got resources at his disposal.”
“If you must tell someone.” Mai agreed to this compromise, then elected me to be the bearer of ill tidings. “You work for him anyway.”
So for the second time that morning, I returned to Shingen’s quarters.
I did knock. I did identify myself. He did say enter.
Arrow in hand, I hurried in, the froze in place.
OMGWTFBBQ
I’d been awake for hours, but even that was not fortification enough to process the sight of full frontal Shingen.

Super hero / Great Dangerous Cool Guy Brown-sama !!!
Star Sign Meaning: An old performing arts theater in the special wards of Tokyo. It’s mostly known for being a theater for various performances (mostly comedy) with the history of having originally been a strip theater. Brown here is making a pun in the original Japanese as the Japanese name for the theater is “浅草フランス座” which directly translated is “浅草 Asakusa (the location of the theater) フランス France (the name of the original strip club that was here; france is used a lot in various places in the world to symbolize sexuality and/or promiscuity e.g. french kissing) 座 Place”. The character 座 can mean both place or an ender for star constellations; like 天秤座 (libra). Brown is using the Toyokan theater specifically for this joke because it ends with 座 like star constellations do, while also alluding to something with a sexual comedic history.
Reading of Choice: monthly Japanese manga magazine targeted at elementary-school aged boys. Each issue was around 700+ pages. Was discontinued in 2007.
Hobby/Special Skill: a reference to “Super Ultra Great Delicious Wonderful Bomber”. A move by the character Rocky Hada from the 80’s manga The Burning Wild Man.
Foot Size: 16キック 16文キック(じゅうろくもんキック) The 16-sentence kick (Jurokumon kick) is a type of professional wrestling technique and is classified as a kicking technique. Famously used by Giant Baba. This is a joke playing with a wrestling name that involves a unit of measurement and the use of feet.
Above Name/General: Brown is writing these long titles to make him seem like a Shonen-hero, as in Japanese they often have very long exaggerated names.
[Page 2]
Koitsu/コイツ - a phrase Brown shouts in the Japanese version of the game which translated roughly to “Hey, you!” in a bit of a more vulgar, rough way.
[Page 7]
US Brad: I think Satomi is annoyed because Brown’s name is already in English and they could still use the same story with the Japanese “name” but they didn’t keep it.

Hello!
Ikemen sé request
the warlords realizing that Mc is very popular with their soldiers. Sending love letters and stuff.
IkeSen Boys + Popular!MC
This was so cute ahhh although I'm sorry if it's a little short, there's a lot of Ikemen to get through. Thank you and I hope you like this work!
Nobunaga Oda
Nobunaga thought it was quite odd that there were a lot of presents delivered to you... Which he didn't gift...
After some digging, he found out that you had garnered some popularity after a campaign
He was dumbfounded at the idea that other men could be attracted to you
He didn't quite like that, but being the person he is he did tell you his thoughts
You insisted that you wanted to keep some gifts to distribute to your maids. He agreed, but he just buys better gifts for you anyway
He's not as jealous as you'd expect, since the man is also a bit egotistical when it comes to himself and your feelings for him
"Oh... Nobunaga..." You wanted to laugh at how childish he was but it wouldn't be in the right taste.
You stopped your giggling when Nobunaga muttered, "I could transfer whoever sent those gifts to you away..."
"At least let me keep some!"
He silenced you with a quick kiss. "Whatever you like from the pile, I'll purchase better ones from the merchants."
Hideyoshi Toyotomi
He doesn't want to admit that he's jealous, but he is. He unknowingly calls out the soldier that was about to gift you a present in an oh so convenient timing…
He doesn't take it to such extremes, he still respects the other soldiers. Although, he found it quite tempting from time to time to not bring you along for some campaigns
In this case, he wished that Nobunaga hadn't demanded such things of you. He really does appreciate your skills on the field, but he doesn't like that he can't control how much attention you're getting
He only realises it once someone points it out to him, or when someone sends you a letter. Letters are an absolute no from him
"Lord Hideyoshi, what should I do with these letters for YN?"
"Burn them."
"Lord Hideyoshi, what should I do with these letters from the townswomen?"
"Oh, send them to my office-"
YN smacked Hideyoshi up in the head. "You hypocrite."
Mitsunari Ishida
Mitsunari did notice that you gained a lot of attention, but he knew that it was only from your good merits and character
In no way did he ever thought it was romantic, until Mitsuhide pointed it out
He wasn't sure how to feel about it. Sure, he was happy that a lot of people thought you were a wonderful person
However a small inkling of him wanted to keep it to himself
Seeing the multitude of gifts for you, the guilt hit him hard. What if you wanted gifts all along?
"YN, do you like it when those soldiers give you gifts?" He asked, as you opened another gift that consisted of a bunch of fabrics.
"I do appreciate it," You admitted. "But I don't plan to keep them for long. I share any snacks with the maids and fabrics with the seamstresses. Why?"
He didn't reply, except for the blush that bloomed on his cheeks.
You pecked his cheek, understanding what he meant. "You have no reason to be jealous, my sweet angel."
Mitsuhide Akechi
Not a lot of people can read him, and he uses that to his advantage. He sneaks up on those who had planned to give you gifts, and instead direct their attention to another maid or townswoman
In the end, with this strategy, you don't receive much gifts from soldiers. This doesn't work on his fellow warlords however
With you, he doesn't hide his frown when people like Shingen or Masamune send you gifts
He doesn't care for what reason it was for, the gift shall not be touched by you
"Mitsuhide? Have you seen a package from Masamune? He sent some really pretty Oshu fabrics for me…"
He sipped on his bland concoction of tea. "Why my dear, I wonder where it could be…"
You sighed. "You gave it away didn't you? Now I have to write to Masamune- Ah!"
Before you could continue any thoughts, your charming kitsune sweeped you up in his arms, smiling coyly at you. "Write to him? I'm afraid my jealousy won't allow that YN… I'd certainly be interested in writing my thoughts of you on your body…"
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Ieyasu surprisingly doesn't notice any traffic of gifts to you. It might be due to the fact that he publicly ban any gifters from his estate…
You still manage to get some from soldiers passing by or Ieyasu's fellow warlords gifting you as a token of appreciation
Only when you bring the gift home is when he realises how popular you are. He doesn't initially care, but similarly to Hideyoshi, he gets rid of any letters
He doesn't burn them, but he moreso stages it so you'd see adorable Wasabi chewing on the papers
"Hey Ieyasu? Oh-" You dropped to your knees, seeing Wasabi with some paper in its mouth once again. "Wasabi, you should know better than to chew on my letters! Ha… Looks like I have to apologise later on."
"Do you even remember the soldier that gave you the letter?" He looked up from his work to ask you.
You pouted. "No… But I'm sure I can ask around!"
He patted you head. "Don't waste your time on that. The maids should be done with dinner now. Let's go and eat."
Masamune Date
He notices your popularity early on, but he's not too bothered about it. In fact, he shows off that you and him are in a relationship
It might be a 'rubbing salt in wound' move but he doesn't care. He has a thrill of seeing some of his jealous subordinates, which he trusts that it is in all good favour
With the way he approached it, most admired you in a non-romantic way, and for those few that actually do, Masamune opts for a duel as a 'wholesome' way to solve the solution
The duels end up with him winning, and the challenger often with some pointers from Masamune during fighting
You wiped off Masamune's sweat from his brow, wondering why he suddenly went up to that random soldier. "Did something happen?"
"Didn't he give you that gift earlier?" He asked, confused. He put up a good fight, although he'd probably have to answer to Hideyoshi since the boy was under his army…
You shook your head. "It wasn't. He has a twin, and the twin is working under Mitsunari…"
Masamune stood up, groaning. "Looks like I have another duel YN. I'll be back by dinner!"
"H-Hoi! Masamune!"
Kenshin Uesugi
Jealousy plus Uesugi Kenshin equals disaster in Kasugayama Castle
Kenshin was shocked when he saw the servants carrying the presents in, specifically addressed to 'Princess YN'
No one could stop him from drawing his sword and rushing to the training grounds, where every poor soldier who passed by was forced to duel him
Yukimura and Sasuke were already battered from the multiple duels they had to face. You pitied the poor souls, so you sent some of your maids to heal up the soldiers that faced his wrath
Holding one of your many bunny children, you walked up to your soon-to-be husband, smiling at him. "Kenshin my dear, we should be on our way to our stroll…"
He tugged off the upper part of his kimono, his torso and upper body dripping with sweat from the fights. "I'll be with you YN, I just need to cool off. I shouldn't dirty you with my sweat."
For as much as you wanted to be proper, you couldn't help but stare at your perfectly sculpted fiance. "T-Take you time my dear."
Sasuke Sarutobi
For the many things he was dense about, this was not one of them. He saw the way some of the Nokizaru looked at you
He of course told them off, but he still had an inkling that some didn't get the memo
Within whatever wisdom he had left, he somehow consulted Kenshin on how to resolve this, which ended up Sasuke battling about half of the Nokizaru
You had no words on why half the men were injured and why your boyfriend was bruised as well. Initially you thought it was from some dispute, but Yukimura so kindly filled you in
You tightened the bandage around Sasuke's arm, giving a disappointed look to the group of ninja. "What do you have to say for yourselves?"
"We're sorry Princess YN."
"And what do you have to say, Sarutobi Sasuke?" You huffed.
"I won't go to Kenshin for romantic advice."
"Good."
Shingen Takeda
He is not oblivious to your charms, as well as the way other people were attracted to your charms
He'd be lying if he said he weren't jealous. Of course he was, but he didn't plan to do anything malicious to whoever sent you gifts
They were free to waste their money and/or time, it wasn't his business. He'd however, make it clear that you were taken
He's not above doting you in public, and sneaking kisses in the markets or kissing you as the rain goes by. He's very calm about it, since he sees the way you were attracted to him
"S-Shingen! We're going to a war council!" You patted his face away from your own, as the much taller man held you in his embrace.
"Embarrassed Princess?" He teased, giving you his sweetest smile reserved just for you. "But we've done many affectionate things in public…" "People will see!"
He kissed your cheek. "Let them see how in love we are."
Yukimura Sanada
He is another victim of Kenshin's not-so great love advice, hesitating to pick up his spear at anyone who sent you glances. Well… it was Kenshin's advice… and no way he'd risk getting teased by Shingen by asking him!
He then opted for a silent jealous strategy, keeping you by him and covering you with his body everytime he felt someone looking at you
You wondered why he was acting so odd, after all, you just wanted to go on a nice stroll with Yuki and Muramasa
Luckily, to Yuki's benefit, Muramasa is a good wolf who knows to rip apart any letters that come to you or hound after any men that look at you the wrong way
"Is it just me, or is Muramasa a little more energetic than usual?" You asked your boyfriend as you folded your kimono underneath you to sit on the impromptu picnic blanket.
Yuki shook his head, handing you over the basket of food. "He's probably just excited to see us… I think…" He said, as Muramasa runs off into the bushes with what he could see was a paper in his mouth.
Kennyo
Kennyo doesn't really know what to do with this information. He's quite unsure if you wanted the attention or not
He thought the issue didn't need to be brought to your attention, as most of those around you are most likely his subordinates
He could… simply remind them of the holistic teachings that was preached to them
It does a good effect, as most quickly dispelled any sort of romantic attraction
He doesn't mind his subordinates admiring you out of respect, as he thinks you deserve such respect for your deeds
You clapped your hands after hearing your boyfriend's sermons. "You impress me every time my beloved," You said, pecking him on the cheek. "I'm always in awe when you deliver your preachings."
He shied away from you, "My dear, you praise me so…" He couldn’t stop repeating those praises over and over in his head, wanting to pen down the exact words you said. "Thank you YN."

Whimsey's Story Event, "I Do, My Love!" -Keiji Epilogue
Ten years had passed since our wedding. I stood in the kitchen working on making afternoon tea for us. "You should really let me help you with that, dear." Keiji's mother said as she entered the kitchen.
I smiled at her. "You know you don't have to. I've got it under control." I assured her. "Though if you're here…who is minding the boys?"
My mother-in-law smiled. "Their father and grandfather of course."
"I should probably get the first aid kit ready then…just in case." I said, moving the the food from the fire and dousing it.
"I am sure all is well. Boys will be boys after all." She said with a warm smile.
"True." I agreed. "You know, Keiji and I really glad you both agreed to come here with us. I know it means a lot to Keiji to have you guys here."
"He's fought a long time to get a home for us all again." She agreed. Her kind, wise eyes looking at me. It didn't take me long to realize she must have seen through every guise Keiji had put up for so long, but knew there was no way to stop him or change his mind.
"I also appreciate all the help you provide with the boys." I added. "I really don't know what I'd do without all of your help besides maybe drown."
She laughed warmly. "I love it." She said. "Family is the most important thing."
We were finishing up the tea and snacks before heading out to the garden, where Keiji and his father were with our boys. It was so funny and so cute, watching Keiji wrestling with our boys; Chiharu, Benjiro, Souta, Riku, and Niko. All five of them had varying combinations of mine and Keiji's features, but they all had his bright red hair.
Keiji's father was sitting on the verands watching the sight, a bright happy smile on his face. Keiji had finally been granted his own land and the construction of our small castle had just completed earlier this year. As soon as we'd moved in, we had invited his parents to live with us. They had jumped at the idea of getting to spend so much time with their grandsons and had taken to being grandparents so well.
"Come on, why don't you boys take a break!" I called out to them. "We've got tea and snacks."
"Snacks? You made some mochi right?!" Niko, our youngest asked.
"Of course, I know it's your favorite." I answered.
"Did you make it or did Obaasan?" Souta asked.
"I did." I answered. "But I used Obaasan's recipe."
"Well…it should still be good then." Souta said.
"Come on now, you know you love your mom's cooking." Keiji said as he came up and grabbed a piece of mochi.
"Yeah, but your mom's cooking is better." Souta replied.
I narrowed me eyes at my son and then reached forward to ruffle his hair. "Next time I'm just going to not make any for you."
"Are Uncle Sasuke and Uncle Kanetsugu still coming for dinner tonight?" Riku asked.
"Yes, they should be here soon." I answered.
The country had finally been united and we'd made peace with the Uesugi-Takeda alliance in part because of Keiji and Kanetsugu. I was happy that we could finally be open with our friendships and they had become an irreplacable part of our family.
"Speaking of, we should probably be getting ready to welcome them once we finish our snacks." I said. "No one got any cuts or scrapes while you guys were wrestling around?" I asked.
"Moooom, we're fine." Chiharu, our oldest said in that exasperated tone.
"The boys are all fine, Ava." Keiji assured me, climbing up on the porch to stand beside me. "I'm the one that's all banged up." He was then giving me a grin. "Ya got any of that salve ya make?"
I smiled up at him, catching on as he held his hands out to me. "You have those invisible cuts again?" I teased.
"You know it." He answered. "The only cure is your touch…some kisses, too."
"Ewww!" Our boys chorused.
"Mom, Dad why do you have to be so gross?!" Benjro asked.
"Yeah, that's supposed to be when you're alone." Riku said.
Keiji and I laughed and shook our heads. I was then placing my hand in his. "Come on, I'll treat these wounds of yours." I turned and started to head back into the castle, when a wave of dizziness washed over me and I began to stumble.
Keiji quickly caught me. "Ya alright?" He asked, concern in those golden eyes.
"I'm fine." I answered.
His mother was coming around in front of me then. "Let me have a look." She was then looking into my eyes. "Well, I'd say that's it then."
My eyes widened. "Don't tell me you're thinking what I think you're thinking." I said. "Especially since you've been right every time."
"But I am dear." She said, smiling knowingly at me.
Keiji was chuckling. "Maybe this time we'll get that girl who looks just like you." He said as he pulled me closer and turned me around so that I faced him.
I smiled up at him. "I don't know it seems boys are all we have…besides I love these little redheaded devils."
"Mama, Papa?" Niko asked. "Am I gonna be a big brother?"
"It seems so." I answered.
"Yay!" Niko squealed in delight.
"Ugh." The older boys groaned.
I looked up at Keiji. "You know this keeps up and I'm just not going to let you touch me anymore, right?"
Keiji chuckled. "I'm sure I can always get you to change your mind." He replied, leaning in to kiss my forehead. "Besides, you look pretty cute pregnant."
Later that night, after dinner and putting the boys to bed, Keiji and I were sitting up in our room. Keiji had me pulled into his lap, his arms wrapped snugly around me. "You know, for a cybical asshole, you look pretty happy." I told him, my tone teasing.
"How can I not be?" He replied. "You've given me everything I've ever wanted and then some."
"Five wild little boys?" I asked. "And likely a sixth one on the way."
Keiji chuckled. "Well, them, too." He replied. "Our home, our family, my dream, and a slew of new ones."
I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "You deserve all of it Keiji. I love you and I love our life and our family. I wouldn't trade any of it or change a single speck of it."
"Dammit." Keiji said. The next thing I knew, I was lying back on the futon and he was over me. "You just always know how to make me want you…this is why you keep getting pregnant."
I giggled. "I don't mind. I'm pretty sure I already said that I love our family, didn't I?"
Keiji smirked before leaning in to capture my lips in a heated kiss. His hands had gone to my sash when there was a soft knock on our door and Niko was calling to us from the other side. "Mama, Papa, I had a bad dream, can I come sleep with you?"
Keiji groaned quietly before pulling away from me and opening the door, scooping the boy up into his arms and bringing him in. "Of course." He said.
"You just come right here." I agreed patting the bed beside me.
The three of us were soon snuggling up together. I smiled at Keiji as Niko soon fell asleep, nestled in between us. I really did love our life and I knew Keiji did too. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty close.

First Day pt. 2
This is an Ikemen Sengoku coffee shop AU. Approx 1400 words. Nobunaga, the owner of Azuchi Cafe, hires a girl to work in his coffee shop alongside his other oddball employees.
Pastry Chef and little rain cloud: Ieyasu Tokugawa
Head Chef and irredeemable flirt: Masamune Date
Dining Room Manager and rule-master: Hideyoshi Toyotomi
Barista and most popular kid in your class: Ranmaru Mori
Barista and coffee disaster: Mitsunari Ishida
Accountant and walking bad-boy vibe: Mitsuhide Akechi
Grouchy customer with sexy-rich-class attitude: Kenshin Uesugi
Walking nerd-encyclopedia and corporate flunkie: Sasuke Sarutobi
I have never written a coffee shop AU and I have no idea what I'm doing. Yet I keep doing it. Seriously. I can't get this out of my brain right now.
First Day pt. 1
Nobunaga found it hard to concentrate with the girl there. His eyes kept seeking her out. His thoughts drifting to her when he was supposed to be focused on re-orders, contracts, budgeting . . . He glanced up from his laptop to see Ranmaru standing entirely too close to her. The barista was showing her how to operate the espresso machine, his chin resting lightly on her shoulder.
He might have said something, but the door swung open just then and in walked their most troublesome customer. Useugi.
Kenshin took in the cafe with a displeased glare. His good looks were offset by the miasma of violence and suppressed emotion that hung in the air everywhere he went. Despite his angelic features, heterochromatic eyes, and gorgeous platinum locks, he intimidated nearly everyone in his path. Everyone but Nobunaga and his cafe crew, which was why he kept returning to this insignificant coffee shop when he could have gone anywhere.
His personal assistant hurried in after him and quickly moved to one of the tables, pulling out a chair for his boss. “Sir?
Uesugi sat with a slight grimace. “That took you .5 seconds longer than last time. Perhaps I should replace you, Sarutobi.”
“Of course sir.” Sasuke Sarutobi’s expression of mild amusement didn’t shift in the slightest. He gave his boss a slight bow and headed for the counter. “One half-caf medium with exactly one pump raspberry and one pump chocolate, oat milk, extra foam, caramel drizzle and curls. And a shot of espresso on the side.”
Mitsunari doesn’t even blink. “Is that all, sir?”
Kenshin doesn’t turn, but a slight smirk turns his lips up at the corners. “Order for the entire office, Sarutobi. My treat.”
It takes several minutes to deliver the complex coffee orders. Everyone’s favorite everything, to exacting specifications. A light sweat breaks out of Mitsunari’s forehead, but he keeps smiling.
Ranmaru isn’t so sanguine. “You’ve got to be kidding me. Two and three-quarters pumps of peppermint? Half white chocolate drizzle and what?”
The girl laughs. “I didn’t know you could put so much in your coffee.” She begins to prep the first order, moving a little slowly as she tries to remember where each product is and how to work the machines.
Nobunaga tenses, ready for Kenshin’s inevitable outburst. Any delay would send him into a violent rant with threats of lawsuits and putting you out of business and blah blah blah.
Uesugi turns around with clear intent but when his eyes fall on the girl, they widen. “You . . . hired a woman? In a coffee shop?”
The girl gives him an over-the-shoulder smile. “Sorry about the wait for your drink, sir. I hope I got it right.” She puts the finishing touches on top of the foam and walks the cup over to Kenshin’s table.
His eyes get wider the closer she comes. “You -” He seems to be at a complete loss for words.
Sarutobi looks concerned. His gaze floats between the girl and his boss for a moment, unsure if he should intervene.
“Get out of my sight,” Kenshin mutters, but the demand is half-hearted. “Women are such a distraction. Completely unnecessary in business.” He throws an irritated glance at Nobunaga. “Did my competition tell you to bring this - this girl here today?”
Sasuke slips around to the girl’s side and pulls her out of the danger zone. “Sorry about the boss. He’s a little unstable. Stress. Childhood trauma. The usual.” He blinks awkwardly as if both eyes were trying to wink at the same time.
“Of course not,” Nobunaga grins. Something about Kenshin’s intensity always made him want to needle the man. “But then, if they had, why would I tell you?” His carnelian eyes narrowed. “Maybe I’m your competition.”
“I could put your little coffee shop out of business,” Kenshin growled.
“Try it and see what happens.” Nobunaga was standing now, his voice low and menacing.
Ieyasu poked his head out of the kitchen and frowned. “Is Nobunaga fighting with customers again?”
“Yep.” Ranmaru grinned.
Masamune peered out, grinning widely. “Somebody get the lass a mop. This is going to get ugly.”
The girl pulled away from Sasuke and pushed between the two angry businessmen. “Excuse me, but could you both sit down? I’m very sorry if I caused you any discomfort, sir.” She looked at Kenshin, met his cold stare head on. “You might think a woman doesn’t belong in business, but flats don’t pay for themselves.”
“Great. Will someone grab the first aid kit,” Ieyasu muttered.
Masamune chuckled. “The lass has got balls of steel.”
Mitsunari was poking around for a first aid kit for Ieyasu, but he looked up at Masamune’s comment. “Does she? I didn’t see her carrying any kind of ball.”
Ranmaru giggled. “Should I explain it to you?”
“Don’t you dare.” Ieyasu cut the pink haired barista off.
Kenshin sat heavily, the tension suddenly emptying from him. “Your boss needs to teach you how to speak politely to customers.” Then he turned away from her and began to drink his coffee.
Sarutobi sagged for a moment in relief. “You must be a half-elf paladin,” he told the girl as she stepped past him.
“I don’t know what that is.” She shrugged and gave him a lopsided grin. “I’m actually putting myself through school to be a fashion designer.”
“Ah, creative, beautiful, and brave.” Sasuke blushed, realizing he’d said that aloud.
“Hey, don’t flirt with her, you corporate flunky. She’s our new hire.” Ranmaru grabbed her arm and pulled her back behind the counter.
“That’s right lad. Take your to-go order and go.” Masamune frowned.
Ieyasu elbowed him. “Not that I care, but if she’d been assigned to help me with the pastries, she wouldn’t be out here where nerdy customers could attempt awkward pick-up lines.”
“I apologize,” Sasuke said stiffly.
The girl smiled. “Don’t worry about it! You’ll have to come back sometime and tell me what a half-elf paladin is.”
Her inviting expression only made the glowers of her co-workers more obvious.
Sarutobi made a dignified exit, leaving with the drink orders for his office.
Hideyoshi took the opportunity to take the girl aside. “I appreciate what you did there, but you shouldn’t be throwing yourself into danger. Are you ok? Do you need a break? How about you sit down and we’ll get you a tea.”
“I’m really alright,” she told him. “I mean, it was a little scary but he wouldn’t have actually hit me.” Her eyes widened. “Right?”
“You are clearly new to this city if you haven’t heard the Kenshin horror stories.” Hideyoshi sighed. “Just, from now on let one of us handle it. It’s barely your first day so stick to the easy stuff.” He led her to the breakroom and sat her down on a tatty old sofa.
The break room was a sacred space for the cafe employees. A spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat out of the customer’s prying eyes. Nobunaga kept it comfortable, with an old couch and a couple of overstuffed chairs. A set of shelves held antique tea sets and some paperback books. There was a tv on the opposite wall and some potted plants in the windowsill on the far wall.
Ieyasu brought her tea and a strawberry pastry. He sat down, wearing an expression of pure annoyance. “So what. Are you suicidal?”
“What? No!” The girl looked at the tea and then back up at the annoyed blonde. “I just don’t like it when people fight. Someone might get hurt. And it would be especially bad if I caused it.”
“So just an idiot then.” Ieyasu sighed. “I don’t know what I expected. Nobunaga doesn’t hire normal people.”
“You realize that includes you, right?” She giggled.
Ieyasu looked away. “Whatever.”
The girl quietly sipped her tea. That lasted until she took a bite of the sweet, crumbly strawberry pastry. “Oh . . . this is . . . this is really good!”
“You don’t have to sound surprised,” Ieyasu huffed. Despite his tone, he wore a slight smile. He turned his head a fraction to look at her.
“It’s just, strawberries are my absolute favorite and this is - you blended the flavors perfectly. Not too sweet, and the fruit is the first and last thing on my tongue.” She finished eating it with a happy sigh. “I feel like I could eat a whole pan of these.”
Ieyasu busied himself with picking up the tray. “Then you’d get a tummy ache and I’d have to waste my time making you ginger tea.”
She laughed. “You know, I think under all that grouchiness you must be a really nice guy. I can tell by how you bake. You couldn’t make such sweet things if you were really that sour.”
For a heartbeat, Ieyasu was struck speechless. His mouth opened and closed as crimson crept across his cheeks. “You just proved you're an idiot,” he finally managed, sounding more breathless than annoyed. He hurried out of the room.

Hello, dearest Nemo. Inspired by a matter you're probably aware of, here I come, to ask you for certain opinion, although perhaps in form of HeadCanons... Let's say we have Ghibli Movies and the Warlords. Which movie would be each warlord's favourite? What do you think?
Ooooh, lil'Lorei remembers my obsession with Studio Ghibli movies, I see. (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku
Characters: All - Kanetsugu because idk I can’t find shit on him only that he is a tsun.
Prompt: The warlords and studio Ghibli movies. Disclaimer: I only listed the movies I have watched, which is a fair amount but by no means all.
Tumblr media
To sit on the couch with a Sengoku warlord felt strange. No, it was definitely weird! All the more so when you put up a Studio Ghibli movie. Just any, because you felt like it. Little did you know that the warlord would take so well to it. He had been rather apprehensive at first, after all, moving pictures and that strange sound? But after a while the movies won him over. After all, who could resist the peaceful charm of Studio Ghibli, dreaming away at the romance of everyday life set in a beautiful landscape far away from all worry and chaos?
Nobunaga Oda: Spirited away
“The soot sprites have good taste,” the Oda leader pronounced, a proud smile etched on his face as he enjoyed the movie playing. On the screen the little black balls could be seen carrying off the konpeito, dancing around the little girl that had just lost her name to Yubaba, a move that Nobunaga had heartily laughed at. “I should consider doing this myself,” he had exclaimed, eyes glistening in mischief, “but I would rename them,” and to this remark you could only feel yourself sweatdrop, recalling the animal-inspired nicknames he tended to give his vassals.
Ieyasu Tokugawa: When Marnie was there
Something about the movie triggered something within him. The themes of loneliness, and constantly being moved around, but most of all, the trope of a found family and the concept of home. They resonated with his own childhood that he had resented so much. The past in which he was treated kindly, but also at times cruelly. All of these stories consolidated into one movie and two girls. “Marnie was weak,” he would later say, “good for Anna,” was his end review, but you could see the tears in the corner of his eyes. The movie had touched him.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi: Tales from Earthsea
A story of guilt and servitude? Prince Arren and the shadow that chases him? An inner fear, but yet a strong resolve to sacrifice all to reach ones goal? Hideyoshi is sold. The promise in the end is what gives that extra edge needed as Hideyoshi is weeping at the end of it all. “I will return to you, lord Nobunaga. I will repay all of my sins!” he wails and you know that he means it. Strangely enough, you have a feeling that Nobunaga would like the concept of ‘True Name’
Masamune Date: The wind rises
The story of a young boy whose dreams are shattered because of his weaknesses and then overcoming them? That’s his boy! Masamune has been cheering Jiro on since the opening of the movie and never stopped. Not until halfway through the movie and a frown settles on his face until the man has to gulp audibly to keep himself in check. All that chasing after a dream and the sacrifices made. It definitely hits a snare with the man who is quiet after the movie. He will need a cuddle or two.
Mitsuhide Akechi: Kiki’s delivery service
“There is just something about watching a little mouse grow up, isn’t there?” Mitsuhide teases with that lilting smile of his ever-present. But between the affectionate nickname and watching the movie there is something wistful about the man who sees the peaceful coming-of-age and finding identity and inspiration for live and passion within the little girl on her broom. He doesn’t say it, but he hopes that children in the future can grow up in such peace as Kiki does, able to adventure and a home to return to.
Kyubei: Whisper of the heart
Two kids chasing after their dreams, one set and the other just learning about it and a very capable cat that guides them. Kyubei enjoys the relationship that develops and the romance that comes with it, finding the fantasy element adorable. “I have a favourite person as well,” he tells you later with a mystifying smile, referring to the poster advertising the movie. A favourite person and a dream, he realises, which he hadn’t before.
Mitsunari Ishida: The secret world of Arrietty
“How very inventive!” the man constantly exclaims as he watches the little Arrietty move around in the garden. When she is fighting off bugs her own size Mitsunari clasps his hands together, as he rattles off on the many efficiencies they can make use of the bugs and employ the garden and the doll house. In the end Mitsunari feels only a little sad about Arrietty’s departure, though he has all faith that the friends will meet again, “is there a sequel,” he asks you for that, eager and beaming.
Keiji Maeda: Howl’s moving castle
Of course Howl’s theatrical ways are what enraptured the man at first, accompanied with Sophie’s determination and go-getters attitude. “That is no dull woman!” he exclaims happily as he watches the older sister fall to the curse cast by the witch. And though it is only vaguely implied Keiji comes to understand that it was something about the heart, just as Howl transforms because of his own heart. ‘A heart is a heavy burden.’ Sophie’s line catches him and Keiji agrees that Sophie’s hair is like starlight. He turns to you, however and tells you that you’re his starlight.
Ranmaru Mori: The cat returns
The cats, Baron the gentleman cat that just looks super cook and a whole slew of shenanigans about to happen. Secretly Ranmaru sees Kennyo in Baron, dreaming away watching his master be the cool hero that he was always meant to be. A little mysterious, totally awesome and can kick ass. Yes, that’s his favourite person!
Kennyo: My neighbour Totoro
There is something homely about the strange giant figure with its creepy smile and silent gestures. In fact, the whole movie endears the man. Two girls surrounded by the beauty of nature, growing up in peace and afraid of soot, catbus riding them to their mother. Kennyo can’t help but smile at the outrageousness of it all, finding it all very endearing. Secretly he thinks himself as Totoro, hiding in the forests and watching over the innocents.
Kenshin Uesugi: Princess Mononoke
A story about rulership, about how humanity ruins life eventually, about destruction and a lot of fighting. Kenshin loves it, especially for the last part. But as a former monk himself with a good appreciation for the gods and nature Kenshin relates to lady Eboshi who is willing to fight all if it means keeping her people safe and San, who fights to protect what she holds dear. He understands that and he relates to that.
Shingen Takeda: The tale of the princess Kaguya
A classic he is familiar with turned into an animation he has never experienced! Shingen loves it. Though he has to admit that he likes the story versions better he has a good appreciation for the artistry and the interpretation of the story, along with the pain of forgetting and leaving.
Yukimura Sanada: Porco Rosso
His favourite nickname turned into a character! Yukimura was flabbergasted at first, but then he came to understand that this was a spell of sorts, just as the movie itself was a trick of magic called science. But alas, that’s not why Yukimura was so in awe with the movie, it was the cool zeal in which the main character flies for his convictions. And somewhere deep down, though he will never admit such, the main character reminds him of Shingen.
Sasuke Sarutobi: Grave of the fireflies
Ah, the classic on which a whole generation was cruelly introduced to Studio Ghibli’s magic, the movie that started it all and above all: made everyone cry. Some may find him a bit of a weirdo to choose this as his favourite movie, after all it is such a sad movie. But it is the history, the message behind it, the themes dealt with and at last the pain and love of the siblings bereft by war. Sasuke’s heart is beaming just at the thought of the entire movie as his eyes start to tear up, dryly.
Kichou: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
There is no movie that quite agrees with him that the world is set out for doom than Nausicaä. The world is destroyed by humanity in a war, humans are still at war, but not only amongst each other for their greed but also with nature. Nature is trying to kill them for the sins committed by man. It all comes together and shows how the blight of this world truly is men and how the future that you come from is just an illusionary peace.
Yoshimoto Imagawa: Ocean Waves
Modern life poured into an artistic expression of young love. There is nothing quite more artistic than that in Yoshimoto’s opinion. The art is pretty, the story is enjoyable and not too riddled with all ugly traits and reminders of chaos and war and he gets to observe the modern world and its beauty a little more. Yes, Yoshimoto is indeed trying to forget about all the ugliness back in the Sengoku.
Motonari Mouri: Castle in the sky
Sky pirates, raiding a precious city, chaos overall and a booming ending? Sign him up. Motonari doesn’t really care for the main characters, finding them too sweet and innocent, but he has noticed that this is an overall trend within Studio Ghibli movies. Do, tell him more about the sky pirates, however and he definitely needs one of those flying machines.

Age gaps
Ahh... I dread this but I'll speak anyway. I keep seeing people have a problem with big age gap couple in fandom. Now before your nostrils all fluff up let me say this, if you can't have an open mind or too fragile for my input please take your leave. This would be wasted on you.
About age gap on fandoms couple (canon or crack) I personally have no problem as long as both parties consent (without child grooming or forced relationship aspect) and considered legal at the start of their relationship and the legality here is not referring to our modern standard but on the couple's world and time. I'll try to explain but it might get long and boring but if you're still okay, continue.
I'll give an example, during the age of samurai if the situation permits like Uesugi Kenshin they can join battle at age 13 and there are still other examples of other famous child samurai. We call it child now because time change but during that time they were considered an adult once they enter battlefield. Why? They already trained years prior to kill and to protect their lord. Example of this in anime would be Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin. His first marriage was when he's around 16 and that was an acceptable age at that era since he was considered adult at age 14. So even though I find it icky if modern day teenager marry at that age, I can understand Kenshin's situation. If I'm still okay reading about him killing people around at even younger age I'm not gonna complain about him wanting to marry (although it's not that simple white and black for him).
You get what I'm trying to say?
More example of the acceptable norms in past era. During certain era in certain place like for example Victorian England and prior, 14 year old boys and 12 year old girls are passable for marriage depends on whether the family want it or not as it's more political than anything else. Same in China for example during the Manchurian Dynasty 14 year old girl is considered adult enough for marriage. And usually the age of the husband is always older by few years up to few decades (officials and emperor). But of course over time all of the above would change. Not by much maybe? Depend on the country I say.
Still we can't just hold the old days custom and norms on our modern day standard that would be akin to the present you calling your two or three year-old self a moron for defecating and not wiping your own ass. Or like when you do something stupid at your young age (pick whatever stupid situation that you have take as a lesson. Done?). You just didn't know better back then but now you do and from your failure you learn, although it would be better if you learn from other's lesson but I say pain is an effective lesson for oneself. Would you rather have that memories of your lesson be removed or ignored? I wouldn't. I don't know if I might do the stupid thing again just to find out whether I can or not. Same as this this whole age gap, young age marriage in the past and present in some customs thing. Don't erase the fact, don't gloss it over because people have and can still learn from them. My grandma married at young age and I came to be as the result of her choice.
Have you ever seen high schooler called Robert D Jr handsome? I've seen it recently on youtube. They call him very handsome and another video talked about cool and handsome senior male models. I've scrolled through the comments and no one seems offended that these high school girls simping for male old enough to be their granddad. These girls called them daddy and commenting how hot they are and the comments either agree or saying the girls reactions are cute. Huh... reverse the situation if these old models commenting female korean idol for example and calling them cute or hot what would people think? "creepy" "pedobear" even though senior female might think the same lines, heck maybe even we think the same lines. See the double standard people use? Maybe not everyone, but the loud ones are there. They're so loud I don't even know if they're majority or minority. I have celebrity crush too when I was young and as it happen, he's my father's age and to be frank, I would not mind an older partner if said partner is compatible and emotionaly mature. My sister is 17 years younger than her husband and they turn out well because her husband is matured enough to understand her ups and downs emotion back when they're dating, even before. Are all men mature emotionally as they became older then? No, just as not all oranges is sweet. My sister is 10 years my senior but she's more bratty than I am sometimes. Is it wrong of my bro in law to be with my sis?
Oh you're just trying to defend pedophilia anywayヽ(`Д´)ノ.
No stupid, I'm trying to make you think. I don't accept pedophilia, shotacon or lolicon. My sis is old enough to be called spinster when they go out. Anyway, when you follow a certain series, try to see it from their era and custom's perspective. Some era is okay with 16 year old marrying. Some tribes in Asia allow marriage between cousins while others and the majority of the world frown upon them. That's just how they see and do things. For me as long as both side consent without pressure and not in the case of 'parents sending their child for marriage without their input' thing I'm okay to leave that alone, I'm pretty much sure we're on the same page there. I hope.
So, just as when you come to another country, you adhere to their rules and norms or you have no right to complain if they deport you out for not learning beforehand and breaking their rules. Or when you have a guest come to your home and they suddenly start demanding you to do stuff their way, you should kick them out if not slapping their face. Or if you want to be kind, explain how you do things in your home and hoping they would understand and respect it.
I'm jumping around but see what I'm trying to say? I'll get to another anime example.
In Naruto for instance, they became genin at 12 and killing people left and right. People are okay with that right? Yeah well, since it was soo popular I suppose... besides it's pretty glossed over in both manga and anime. But the same people that's okay with children killing left and right, would they be okay if suddenly the mangaka put in story about one of the chara going on seduction mission? If it's carried out well as in the chara being bamf, maybe no problem. But if things went south for the chara? I'm sure there will be outrage, especially if that's a female chara or worse if it's one of the main like Sakura. See? People hold the characters, the series and the mangaka to their own convenient double standards. Back to the age gap when shipping, I pick Naruto as example because apparently Sakura was just so shippable that people actually ship her with Kakashi and even Madara and she makes easy example. Don't ask me why she's shipped with Madara and I don't ship any of the two with Sakura. Anyway, if Sakura is mature enough to choose to kill as a teenager (and don't give me crap about Sakura never killing on screen. Their line of work involves lots of death and she's been through war) she's mature enough to decide her romantic partner even if it's suddenly Orochimaru(ㆆ_ㆆ) (did they even exist?). You can say her taste is terrible because he's an asshole but don't say it's gross cause the age difference because apparently Orochimaru can just rejuvenated to new body and be as good as a babe (I wish I could too). Anyway saying it's about age on these kind of chara is just straight up lie on people's part. Another example I can think of atm is snk. I've seen people against pairing the 104th with the veterans because of age gap. Now I'm not trying to be rude, but hear me if you please. The whole 104th are trained child soldiers and they're killing titans and even humans. You're all okay with that? If you still follow the series far enough and liking it maybe you enjoy seeing the action sequence, drama and intrigue? The fact that you still come back to the series after this long proves that you're still okay with all the gores and blood spilled with all the glorious child soldier most of all. They become soldier because of circumstances you say? I'm glad you think so too! Although I must point out, the 104th did CHOOSE to be soldiers (just as Naruto and co choose to be ninja). They could be farmers or thugs for all we know. All the soldiers in snk choose their occupation, thay all trained and decide to join the Survey Corps, in fact the only one that join reluctantly in the first place is the former thug although he continues in the end. That aside, their circumstances certainly are different than us don't they? They don't even know a car and blip exist before Marley... They must have a whole lot of different mindset and norms than ours too for a civilization whose life are about survival against titans that's 100 years behind than other civilization in their world. Ever think of that?
Seeing modern day teenage in romantic lights are indeed hard as I'm sure the majority can't even survive without their gadget and parents' money. I certainly can't at that age. Immature. Even those in their twenties and thirties are immature these days. But now when one of those child soldier who have a whole lot of different mindset and maturity level is being shipped with older chara, you're against it. Okay. Maybe it's indeed easier for you to see 15 year olds regardless of their profession to commit act of violence and even kill than to love... (does that sounds okay to you?)
...I'm not saying killing mindlessly is alright because it is NOT. But that would need a whole lot different threads and time to spare and maybe someone else can do it or already done it before me.
But here's the good thing, even when the ship starts when they grow and at the modern legal age of 18 and 19, or even far above like centuries, it's still not okay for some people to ship them. I don't mind if it's your preference and you don't go disturbing other's corner when they don't even enforce their ship as words of god and even acknowledging that 'yes, maybe it's not canon and just our bits of fun' but sometimes it got to the point of belittling those who do ship age gap couple and treat them like a criminal in need of help or wishing them death. Seriously? Yes. People are that immature.
If you don't like a ship because you think your own is better, fine. Do your thing in your corner but don't go to other people's corner just to talk shit without even knowing why they ship what they ship. Most of this ship is just in our head in the end, and even if your ship is canon it does not make you any greater in real life.
I can't think of anything else to say now, but thanks for reading with open mind. ◝(⑅•ᴗ•⑅)◜..°♡
Now before anyone waste their time typing out comments, I refer to my first paragraph. Here's some imaginary flower for you all🌷
Apparently I'm not clear enough so I fix my wording. I'm here not defending minor and old people relationship but age gap couple who happen to be aged up to acceptable age despite their profession. Here's some choco🍫

ikemen opinions 4/?
i recently finished kenshin uesugi’s route and of course i have to write about him. i finished it a few days ago, but like before i started writing these reviews heh. kenshin and ieyasu are kinda tied for being my one and only sengoku warlord. ieyasu isn’t insane, but i loved the devotion of kenshin’s love. hard to pick between my two blonde boys. i have a type if you guys can’t tell. you know the drill! spoilers below the read line :)
*disclaimer* : please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions which will of course differ from others!! i’d also like to disclose that i do in fact pay to play, but i only pay for that i deem worth it. i don’t spend money on events or for chapter tickets.
character: kenshin uesugi (ikemen sengoku)
route: dramatic
rating: 8/10
overall thoughts: listen. i am in love with this man. the love between kenshin and mc is very romantic if you don’t mind a little bit of crazy here and there. i think what really makes this route so great is the banter and dynamic of not only kenshin and sasuke but the uesugi-takeda alliance in general. i really recommend this route to anyone, it’s so interesting.
highlights:
what a weird but loving man. the definite best part of kenshin is how devoted he is in loving the mc. like he is just so head over heels in love and even though he’s weird about being too loving, the idea of finding that kind of love is intriguing to me.
i love the dynamic between sasuk, mc and kenshin so much. mostly for sasuke’s witty humor and the way he sneaks in modern day jokes and it confuses kenshin. and how well sasuke and mc get along and how well sasuke understands and cares for kenshin. a sweet trio.
the usegi-takeda alliance is so fun. like the dynamic between eveyone in this is so fun and i think that’s what made the route so exciting besides the romance of course. i especially love that shingen in the reason kenshin finally comes to mc’s cell. i loved this little family so much that i am now playing yukimura’s route heh.
THE BUNNIES.
KING OF THE BUNNIES.
HEAD OF THE BUNNY CLAN.
maybe it’s my daddy issues, but i loved kenshin’s struggle with understanding how to love in a healthy way. idk i have a weird thing for handsome, blonde men and them being overly protective/possessive. no i am not crazy.
dislikes:
of course he’s mentally il and has a lot of trauma, and i don’t mind the most of it, but i hate the main conflict being that he’s decided to take over all of japan and kill everyone to make sure that no one would ever want to touch the mc again. i like the resolution, but for some reason this just feels so out of left field and in a bad way. i don’t have a solution for this like i don’t have a better idea for the big plot twist in this route but i just didn’t love the canon twist.
i think the story behind ishime is weak. that’s all. i mean yeah it’s sad and it took a really bad toll on kenshin but i feel like it would have been more interesting if she had been killed by and enemy or those in his clan rather than taking her own life and that would help the plot of kenshin being absolutely manic about the idea of losing his new love.
i think that it’s super lame that the solution for kenshin’s trauma is basically that,, true love fixes all??? like yeah we’re all here for the romance and the routes are only so long, but i just think that aspect could have been a little better but y’know still an overall good route.
favorite memory: um i don’t wanna be a horny freak but... ‘claw marks’ like are you joking me? the vulnerability? the sweet love making? it’s so good. but also ‘like a rabbit’ i feel like is both sweet and iconic because of kenshin exposing himself as the leader of the rabbit clan. it’s so cute and i just love how tough he still thinks he is when he literally has an army of rabbits that follows him around his castle.
this isn’t a savable memory but i wish it was, i loved the dramatic epilogue where kenshin and his vassals are having a tournament to celebrate his recovery. it’s just so fun and so typically ‘the god of war’ esque. i love the dynamic of kenshin with his vassals because they believe in him so much, the love the mc, and of course the iconic dynamic between kenshin, sasuke and mc. and i loved sasuke and the vassals using mc as their last resort to beat kenshin because as soon as she walks up he rolls over like a puppy. idk why but i just love when the super tough and seemingly cold person is just gentle and head over heels for the soft and sweet but sturdy one.

Hi! Could I request a headcanon/fic/whatever you feel like of the ikesen boys (Nobunaga, Kenshin, Mitsuhide + if you feel like anyone else, I wouldn’t ask you to do EVERYONE haha) with a blind MC who sees them/the world through touch + is very physical with her affections (if that makes sense). I love your works sm and I’m so glad I found your page. No pressure/no rush, tysm 💕
Hello~ I am glad you like my works! Thank you for requesting!
Blind MC who is very affectionate.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
In this era of chaos and war, being blind could prove to be a huge disadvantage. The first time you two met, it was hard to pull him out of the fire, he could see that you were a bit disoriented and needed his help as well to get out of the burning temple. He admired your courage to try and lead him to safety despite being blind. After becoming lovers, he was more than happy to be more physical when helping.
He knew that you needed to touch either him or the walls to locate yourself, which is why he would always volunteer himself to be with you to whenever you needed to go. Of course, he was a busy warlord, so sometimes he would need to send one of his vassals to help you. However, he much preferred to be the one guiding you, specially because then you would be close to him as you two walk.
Cuddling together is specially nice because of how affectionate you can be, snuggling him as much as possible. You tend to use your hand to touch his face, trace the lines of it to feel how he must look like. He will always lean against your hand and let you feel him as much as you wanted.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Just a look at you and he knew that you would need extra attention. It was because, one: you weren’t used to the turbulent times of the sengoku era and two: you were blind, you could be exposed to danger much easier than others. That doesn’t mean that you would be a defenseless person, he was willing to teach you everything you needed to know to defend yourself much better in case of danger. He won’t shelter you, he will train you to be stronger, so that your blindness won’t be too much of a problem during war. Weapons were very tricky to teach, since you would need your vision to fight properly without injuring yourself. He mostly taught you how to save yourself if he wasn’t there.
Of course, he is also more than willing to guide you to whenever you need to go, specially when you become lovers. He will purposely be very close to you as you walk just to tease you a bit, like sneaking a kiss on the cheek or neck, tickling your sides. Just a bit of teasing to see you pout cutely at him. But don’t worry, he will guide you properly without letting you bump into anything.
He isn’t too clingy, but he does adore hugging and holding you. Specially when you just want to feel him near you, know that he really is there with you. This feeling comes from the fact that he is very busy and can be away on long missions, so clinging to him will definitely be a must when he is back. This made him become more of a cuddler compared to how he was before.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Well, knowing him, he will be a bit annoyed at first. Kenshin dislikes women because to him, they are weak and can hurt themselves easily, so he must distance himself from them as to not harm them. A concept that naturally will change when he meets you. Being a blind woman in a world so full of chaos can be a big problem, you could get hurt at any moment and won’t be able to see it coming… literally.
However, despite not being able to see, you are still a brave person. You want to live your life without letting your blindness get in the way, so he is impressed to see how strong you can be despite everything. It made him see a new meaning to the word “strong”. Of course, that doesn’t mean you don’t need some help with walking around, knowing what certain objects are, things that he slowly begins doing. At first, he didn’t want to get much involved since you two didn’t know each other well, but eventually he wanted to help you with anything you needed.
As lovers, he will want to be the only one to help, he liked how you two would be so close to each other when he guided you around, he could hold you as much as he wanted without needing an excuse. Sometimes you would touch his body and feel the scars of past wars, which would break your heart. He has been through a lot and you could feel how terrible these scars were. But he would always pull you closer and reassure you that those scars meant that he came back alive and well. He adores cuddles and will want more every time.

You will be fine. Let's do some demonstration.
*Cherry clears her throat and she gives Kenshin a shy smile*
Mr. Uesugi, I like you. Will you go out with me?
............
Shingen: You did well to take care of yourself while he is sleeping. Come, let's eat together while the food still warm. Your mother must be hungry too, I heard her little belly growling in the car earlier.
*He picks Koro up and smiles teasingly at Selena, carrying the little boy on his shoulder as they go to the dining room*
Kenshin: of course, let’s go to the bed-
Sasuke: I think he isn’t understanding the meaning of this demonstration.
Yukimura: he is way too forward…
Try pretending that my sister is someone you don’t know well.
Kenshin: that’s impossible, she is my beautiful wife.
————
Selena: Eh?! My belly didn’t grumble, don’t say those kinds of things to Koro, dear.
Koro: hehe, is mom going to cook today?

Hello!! Can i request a mc who can do the swallowing sword trick? I dont know if there's a character limit but if possible can you do all of them? If not, then just do the eusugi-takeda clan. Damn i feel greedy. I love your works btw!💞💞💞

Oda Forces
Nobunaga: He is absolutely amazed by your ability. Like seriously, the first time you showed him what you could do he dropped his konpeito (and Hideyoshi got super mad at him but that’s another story). Whenever you have free time he always asks you to demonstrate, and you always oblige because he almost acts like an excited child at a carnival, which is, needless to say, absolutely adorable.
Hideyoshi: Being both the mom friend and a total killjoy, he freaks out whenever you do your tricks and always tries to distract you because you never listen to him. He gets especially fussy when the other warlords urge you to keep doing it and makes sure to remind you of the obvious hazards of doing something so risky. But you never listen, and he eventually just gives up.
Masamune: This boy is probably the most excited about your talent. His eye becomes all sparkly and he even asks you to swallow 6 swords at a time, which, after some very tough training, you are able to do. He even asks you to perform for his vassals and soldiers, and all of them are beyond impressed.
Mitsunari: At first he was very confused and a bit concerned as to how you are able to literally swallow a sword as if it were a spoonful of rice, but after a while he eventually started to grow more amazed than just scared, especially when you swallowed three swords in one go. He would sometimes ask you to do a few tricks every now and then, and always stare in both awe and wonder.
Ieyasu: He immediately did a double take when you worked your wonders for the first time. What the hell did you just do…? He was too shocked to speak, until after a few minutes he huffed and told you that if you got hurt he wouldn’t help you. But when you didn’t seem to get hurt he secretly started to feel fascinated, and now he watches in silence when you do one of your tricks.
Mitsuhide: This is definitely a first for him. I mean, how often do you meet someone who can swallow a sword without dying on the spot? Whenever you demonstrate a cool trick he gives you a foxy smirk and asks you two keep swallowing more at one time (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)… I’m sorry I’ll stop—)) Once you’ve swallowed ten, it’s official. You’ve amazed him. Well done!
Ranmaru: His eyes were the size of dinner plates the first time you performed your dangerous stunts. He was a bit like Mitsunari, but more scared, but once it was clear to him that you weren’t harmed, he cooled down and would often ask you to demonstrate your tricks. He sometimes tries to do them himself but is immediately stopped by Hideyoshi.
Uesugi-Takeda Forces
Kenshin: Like Masamune, he is also really excited, but in a slightly… different way, if you catch my drift… (≖ ‿ ≖) Anyways, of course at first he was skeptical. How were you not dead? He wanted to know, and when you explained to him how you did this, he was immediately in awe. Now he literally just asks you to do your tricks whenever he’s feelin some typa way.
Shingen: He was stunned at first. You always find ways to surprise him, but this was definitely not expected. He even questioned if this was real, but after some thinking and realization he was convinced that yes, it was. He finds your abilities incredibly fascinating to say the least, but doesn’t ask you to do them because he’s aware of Kenshin’s… feelings.
Yukimura: He has, and always will be, disturbed by this. Of course he can’t help but be a bit impressed but he’d rather not watch you do something so terrifying on a daily basis. Unless you want to tease him, don’t do it in front of him, or he might faint.
Sasuke: Ok so he was totally caught off guard the first time you did this. He was not expecting you to be able to pull of a stunt like that, at all, no matter how cool you are. He even asked you if you were a magician or something, to which you said no. I guess you could say he’s your biggest fan, and at some point he even tried to swallow a few of his ground spikes (it didn’t work by the way).
Yoshimoto: He considers this talent a wonderful example of performance arts and sometimes even suggests that you try to do some graceful poses while doing your stunts. He is a bit too scared to learn them himself, but watching you makes him happy.
Mouri/Kennyo Forces
Motonari: Being a badass pirate who has sailed all across the globe, he isn’t surprised to find someone with such a unique talent. But that doesn’t make him any less impressed. The first time he saw you practicing only led to him asking you to keep performing, and now you are his favorite stunt-performing champion.
Kennyo: Ok he pretends to not think that it’s such a big deal, but on the inside he’s secretly like “wOW!!!”, and you can tell. When you see him watching from a distance as you train, you know that he finds your talent really neat, and eventually he’s open enough to actually ask you to perform for him.

The Crane Team: Sons of Amaterasu
The Family Sends Their Regards
“Crow, I need you to pick up some folks for work.”
The hiring process had gone without a single hitch. No doubt that Yoko Uesugi had the backing of Nanami Sakurai so very little ‘vetting’ was actually done of the candidates. Crow trusted Yoko too but at least give them an interview outside a bar.
“I drove you once and now I’m a professional driver?”
“You promised to help me, this is for the cause!”
“Ugh… fine.”
“Thanks. A few of them are still nervous about… going out. Thanks for understanding.”
He got the address of a single spot outside a diner where he was supposed to pick up members of the Clan. This Clan formerly known as Devil and now was just going to be awkwardly absorbed into the Hydra to form what was simply known as the Japan Branch of Cassell College.
Crow leaned against the car, smoking. Were all the Cassell branches this fractious? He wondered to himself, blowing out a plume of smoke. No, likely not. Unless the men running those branches were just as corrupt as Tachibana. Part of him understood Ms. Sakurai’s desire to seal the documents surrounding the horrors under Genji Industries and Tachibana’s plan to turn Erii into a dragon. Half the Hydra members wouldn’t believe it. The other half might even agree with it.
His phone buzzed again. “I gave them the all clear.” Yoko texted. “They’re coming.”
Three people he recognized as the men from the bar emerged from the diner. They were all wearing suits and ties but they still looked like a bunch of rough rascals as they glared at him. Kiko reminded him a bit of Yasha, the way his eyes scanned him with a cocky smile. Ryuusei gave a cheery wave and invited himself into the front passenger side. “Thank you so much for the pick up!” The man had his hair back into a dark ponytail. When he pulled the handle, the door was still locked. “Uh…”
“Listen… There are still people out there who don’t agree with this whole arrangement. Yoko’s doing her best but she can’t do it alone. You’re not getting in my car unless I have your word that you’re not going to let her down.”
Ryuusei’s eyes widened slightly. “I would never! Yoko is my one true love. The guiding star of my life!”
Crow turned slowly to him with a disbelieving curl of his lips.
“I’ll do my best!” Young Hayato bowed deeply.
Crow nodded approvingly. “Hayato sits in front. The other two in the back.”
“Are you her boyfriend?” Ryuusei barked, stepping away from the door for a happily smiling Hayato.
“Yoko is a married woman, unless you believe that your Dragon Lord is dead. His body was never recovered at the Red Well with the others. Pursue her at your own risk.” Crow unlocked the doors.
Crow kept his eyes forward as he led his group of misfits from the elevators on the legal department floor of Genji Heavy Industries. Among Hydra, there was a belief that Devils gave off a certain smell. The way certain Hydra looked at the men with him in disgust, Crow could imagine that perhaps that was true. A new area where they would work was sectioned off. Even though they were in the same building and worked for the same company, the Hydra were reluctant to have them by their sides. But at least the area was well outfitted with phones and PCs and comfortable chairs. Most had already arrived on the phones.
“Wow they even have her name on our cubicles…” Hayato breathed.
“Yoko will be here in a minute to explain. I’m going to go smoke…” Crow turned on his heel.
“Don’t go too far.”
Ryuusei had been about to open his computer when Yoko’s voice reached his ears. He spun to face her. She was resplendent in a black long sleeved jacket, short skirt and black heels. She was smiling as though greatly moved by something. Heavy gold chains hung from her neck.
All the members of the Devil Clan stood up in a silent salute and then bowed humbly. Crow remembered the old man Tamayuki’s words. Whether or not she accepted the title, Yoko was the Chief of the Devil Clan.
Had anyone told him that within a few months, Devil clan members would be working on the dime of Hydra in their headquarters, he would have marked them as a lunatic. Had he known that this was going to be the end of things… how different would he have acted towards them? The faces of Devil Clan members flashed in his mind and he forced his mind away from that useless sense of regret. None of what happened back then was anyone’s fault and yet Devil and Hydra were both at fault. True justice was likely impossible. The only solution was to move forward and leave the old ways behind.
“Thank you… for coming here today.” Yoko said in clear and fluent Japanese. “This is a new beginning for the Japan Branch. Things will not go smoothly or evenly. But when those disruptions come, roll with them, like the waves of the tide and stay the course. The goal is reunification. Please… do not forget that. No matter what.”
The Devil Clan members let out a shout of “Hai!”
“Ganbatte.” Yoko bowed and they all bowed again.
She turned on her heel and stepped out of the office. Crow followed her out. “Crow there’s something I need to talk to you about. It’s very important. I know you’re… probably busy.”
“I’m not.” Crow said.
“Then follow me.”
Crow followed her through winding corridors and up abandoned staircases to an unknown area of Genji. “Thank you for picking up those guys today.”
“Nothin’ to it.”
“You can say that… but it's important. I hope you can continue to help out.”
“You want me to hang around them to get close to them. I get it. You said it before. Hydra and Devil Clan in the same room.”
She nodded to herself. “Yes. The separate seating arrangements were not my idea. But they won’t be able to hole the new employees up in their separate area for very long. My hope is that the Devil Clan members themselves will try to mingle. I can’t convert everyone on either side. I just have to trust their hearts.”
“Trust their hearts… huh?” Crow said.
“Someone once said that the strongest thing about Gen Chisei was not his dragonblood but his heart. At first I didn’t believe it.” She glanced down the stairs at him.
“Understandable. Those were your boyfriend’s chains.” Crow said, nodding to the bright gold chains.
“You were there.” She said quietly.
“I heard everything. I’m … truly sorry.”
“Thank you…”
“What made you change your mind about the Young Chief?” Crow asked.
“I didn’t change of my own will. As far as I was concerned, Chisei was a monster. But it was because someone I cared about loved him. And I couldn’t hate him if he loved him so much.”
Crow blinked in confusion for a moment but continued to follow her.
Eventually, they reached the converted vault apartment where she lived. “Come on in. It’s alright. We have to meet here because this is the only place I can talk freely.”
Erii peered out of her room and waved at Crow before disappearing back inside.
“It’s about a boy. The one at the orphanage. I had him taken out from there and placed under the protection of Cassell members.”
She led him to her own bedroom and shut the door. Crow looked around. The space was small. The furniture was simple wood. The bed was plain construction with plain sheets. The only accessory was a small sailor moon doll striking her signature pose on the dresser.
She pulled a tablet from the wall charger. “Please listen to this.”
She pulled up a file and pressed play.
A young boy’s shaky, barely audible voice came from the speaker. “They broke down the door and started shooting. I went to hide in the safe room right away. But my friend ran out of the room.”
“They just started shooting? No warnings? Nothing?”
“No.”
“What about your friend?”
“He ran back into the wall.”
“What do you mean into the wall?”
He… had his back to the wall. He put his hands up like this…”
“And…?”
“They shot him a lot.”
“Did you see what they looked like?”
“No… they had their faces covered. Just one had a tattoo. The one with the sun.”
Crow sighed as the recording finished. “Look. That time was crazy…”
“Crow. Don’t. Don’t excuse it. That boy wasn’t even a Devil. He was a Hydra child.”
“There were people who died who weren’t even Hybrids! It was crazy! We didn’t have control of the gangs. They just followed orders.”
“Were those orders to murder a whole family without remorse and gun down a child in a house?” She snapped. “If Chisei were here would he have approved of this?”
“These things happened. He never did anything about it.”
She ran her hands through her hair in frustration. “If we don’t… do something about these people. This is not going to work. You can’t expect reunification to happen with the Devil Clan making all the sacrifices to clean up the mess. And these people are part of the mess.”
She pulled out another folder. “This is the witness testimony I’ve gathered so far. None of these people want to be named as witnesses. They’re that scared. This boy is the only live witness I have to these murders who’s willing to talk and he’s too scared to use his real name. And he’s in hiding. All of them who survived just said these men had sun tattoos. They all kept their faces covered. Every time, it was the same. Everyone was killed regardless of what they said or did. The survivors either hid or they played dead. No one escaped. Those who ran were hunted, caught and killed. They wanted no witnesses to hide their atrocities! I need your help, Crow. I need names.”
“No one is going to prosecute these guys. They’re harder asses than Chisei ever was. Even to each other. They’ll get off and come after you.” Crow’s eyes were serious behind his lenses.
“You know who they are.” She leaned forward.
“Yeah. I do. And I can tell you that they’re nuts. Zealots. A separate faction within the executive board. They were focused on the extermination of the Devils. They believed in a pure White King bloodline that did not produce Devils. Only Emperors. That’s why they called themselves Sons of Amaterasu, because they wanted to have an Emperor Bloodline.”
“They’re going to cause trouble. It’s better to nip it in the bud now.” She put the documents away.
“I’ll see what I can do behind the scenes.” Crow said. “Let me try first.”
That night a gathering took place in a historic mansion outside of the city. It was once a Castle stronghold of a village that had long since lost its identity but none of its grandeur. There was no way to get to the mansion. One had to know where it was and turn down a poorly lit path through dense forest to arrive at a padlocked gate. But intruders never make it to the gate.
Everyone arrived armed with swords from the Sengoku Era. This clan of Hybrid were once noble Samurai beholden to a single Daimyo. But after that era faded away, they split into separate families. But they were always beholden to the cause. No Devil Child would survive in their household. They didn’t care to keep them in prisons. They simply killed them as soon as they were identified. The parents of such children were either run off their land, killed, or sterilized. As a result, the appearance of Devils among these families was one of the lowest rates in all of Hydra. Anyone who had born to them a son or daughter that was a Devil had their bloodline abruptly ended.
This is what Crow meant when he said that they were as harsh with each other as they were to Devils.
They sat across from each other on pillows, their ancestral blades placed politely in front of them. They kept their faces masked even amongst each other, their glowing tattoos their own identifier.
“It appears we are all that is left.”
The seven of them sat in a circle, their feet covered under a heated table. “Is there any possibility of continuing the bloodline at this rate?”
“The good women kept frozen embryos and eggs and the good men kept their sperm well banked in case of this catastrophe.  It will take a generation, but I believe recovery is possible. Also, the widows are still available. It’s our men who are scarce.” Said another.
“What threatens us now isn’t genetics. It’s the current atmosphere of Hydra. Even now, those Devils have infiltrated right in the middle of Genji. It won’t be long until Hydra is completely corrupted. The Emperor line will be impossible.” A man at the head of the table spoke in a soft voice. “The population of Devils will explode.”
A gloomy silence was around the table. “With Nanami Sakurai at the head… we have no hope.”
“What are you planning? You don't intend to take violent action? Her installment was sanctioned by Amaterasu no mikoto…”
“He was not a true emperor.” The man at the head of the table said. He waved his hand and three women came with documents in their hands, heads bowed. They were Geisha, their faces painted a ghostly white and they delivered the documents and disappeared like phantoms. The men at the table opened the folders and gasped as they read. “Is this true? There was a second Gen brother? And he was a Devil?”
“He was the ultimate Devil. The Dragon Lord, Ruri Kazama.”
“Where did you get this information?! Some of this is dated 20 years ago!”
“It’s too accurate to be falsified. The man who has delivered me this documentation is here now. You just can’t see him. Chisei Gen was a creation in a lab, along with his Devil Brother. Tachibana was aware of this and so was the King General of the Devil Clan. Hydra was never going to produce a pure hybrid line. Tachibana was actively harboring and creating Devils.”
“Why is this source helping you?”
The man at the head of the table smiled viciously. “I’ll let him speak for himself.”
Sure enough, the empty space behind him was suddenly occupied by a European looking man in a prim suit. He was carrying a large silver case that looked like it would be too heavy for an ordinary person to lift.
“We are willing to pay handsomely for the elimination of both Yoko and Erii Uesugi. It will for 4 million to retain your services and 14 million if the targets are eliminated and the skeletons of both delivered. You will be well armed to also create as much havoc as you wish. Once the task is completed, you will be sent to protective custody to hide out for a while until things die down.”
One of the men looked the man up and down. “Why would we hide out?”
“Killing Yoko Uesugi will attract the ire of the Gattuso heir. Once the job is done you must leave immediately.”
A sudden chill fell over the table.
“If it means the Salvation of the White King descendants from being corrupted by Devil blood, then the sacrifice will be worth it.” said he man at the head of the table.
“What do you get out of the deal? Why do you want two Devil women dead?”
“That information is classified.” The man set down the case, typed a code in a keypad and stood back. The metal case opened and deformed into a rack of alchemical weapons! “This is the finest weaponry in Dragonslaying. No dragon can withstand this collection. Make good use of it. I’m also entrusting you with these.”
He held out two pieces of dark wood blocks which the man at the head of the table took.
“With these you will disable Erii Uesugi. She will be the easiest to kill. Your leader has been trained in their use.”

Wondering if I could request some reactionary Headcanons for the warlords where MC is a highly trained and skillful forensic scientist?
I’m so sorry this is waaaay overdue and writing-wise is still unsure of the style... I hope this one’s okay though~ TnT
p.s. I tried adding Kennyo & Motonari too, but brain won’t let me ><
p.s.s. Updated masterlist for my random shenanigans here!
*Every one of them thought MC would be scared of a dead body and multitudes of it on the battlefield and beyond it but...
ODA FORCES
Nobunaga
- “Huh, this fireball’s not afraid of the dead?” // “I examine them for a living.” Visibly impressed, a devilish smirk forms on his lips
- The Devil King is fascinated by you actively asking to take her to battles to study the bodies
- “Look at this! With that deep slice on his jugular vein, no wonder he’ll die pretty quickly due to all that blood loss.” // “On his what?” // “T-the blood vessel found on the neck, my lord.” // *is confused*
- Nobunaga considers this carefully and commissions the armour makers to improve their designs, and/or trade for more sturdy materials with the Portuguese (you know… aside trading for konpeito :3)
- Lets you examine more specimens to determine all possible deaths in battle, and then have it discussed at the next council. It’s a great help for them in terms of preparation & strategizing. After all, prevention and preparation is still much better!
Hideyoshi
- A worried mother hen as always, all he wanted is for you to stay away from the worst sights possible and definitely not going straight towards them! “What do I keep telling you?” // “Uh, stay away from the corpses…?”
- Just like how his lord would sneak away to have konpeito, you also tend to get around stealthily just to study “them”
- Being a highly observation person due to your work, you even know which wooden floor in Azuchi will make a creaking sound and by instinct you will avoid it
- But Mamayoshi is just as observant as you are, and he caught you one night
- “I know you were once this ‘forensic expert’ from where you came from, but you are a princess now and must behave like one!” Legend has it that the lecture continues...
Mitsuhide
- Ah, he loves asking for your suggestions on how to get away with murder treason!
- I mean, he’s surely an expert but an additional piece of advice his little mouse wouldn’t hurt, right?
- “This place’s almost clean, I’d say.” // “’Almost’, little mouse? It scares me so that you have trained eyes for such matters. // “Is that a compliment? Anyway, I saw a strand of hair near the sliding door... and its color is much similar to yours. Care to explain?”
- Now he’s more careful than ever to leave any trace, knowing you can find him even with the smallest of clues
- The tables have turned for him after such a long time of being a sneaky fox
Masamune
- Oh boy, make sure you won’t overwork yourself by being with this man, being a battle-loving man that he is (meaning, more bodies and scenes to check out)
- At the same time, he finds it amusing that you proactively ask him to take you to his trips, campaigns and whatnots
- “It really is fun having you around, lass! Or should I say ‘partner’?” // “Damn straight, partner… now, let’s solve this case!” Cat-like grin commences for you two
- He sees you having fun hanging out at the scouts’ camp, chatting about experiences in the battlefield. your eyes would glimmer the more explicit they describe it. Creepy? Maybe a little, but at least he sees you happy about it… right?
- The One-Eyed Dragon will find this unusual, sure, but it certainly makes him want to know you more
Ieyasu
- Did he care at first? No, not really. He just wanted no involvement at first and to be left on his room alone, reading or eating extra-spicy food
- However, Yatsun gets curious when he finds you taking a peek at his medicinal work on a man he is a bit late to save :(
- “What are you doing here? You better not get in the way.” // “Oh no, poor man though… what’s the cause?” // “I am yet to find that out, if you’ll excuse me,---” // “Can I take a look?”
- He tries to pry you away from the room but being already in and touching the body leaves him no choice but to keep a close eye on you, making sure you’re not doing anything daft.
- “Huh, not bad.” Ieyasu says as you were able to identify the cause of death, deep inside he’s amazed of course. Later on he would let you join him in his post-mortem activities if the schedule allows to, but still keeping an eye on you to prevent any mishaps from happening
Mitsunari
- “Wow, MC-sama is unfazed as we all are in the battlefield! You truly are an amazing woman.” Did you see that sunny smile on his face as he says it???
- Your logical explanation as to identifying one’s death baffles the force’s cinnamon roll (because of the jargon used), otherwise it fascinates him
- Well, he’s never seen a woman who’s into dead bodies work-wise!
- Like some other warlords, he would ask you for advice when making strategies for the next battle
- When you went to his room one time to borrow a book, the first thing you said was “Am I in a crime scene?” when seeing piles of books around, untouched food and seeing a man unmoved in the middle of the room, reading and not even sensing your presence. “Ah no, just a normal room. I see.”
Ranmaru
- While in an errand, he sees you one day looking at a dead body about to be taken away. He is worried that the view might traumatize you for life… in the back of his mind he already has a plan to take you to a sweets shop and let you gorge in manjuu for the rest of the day
- “MC-sama, are you alright? You look shocked.” // “Yeah, I mean it looks to me that someone killed him when everybody says the opposite! I wanted to look into this so badly…” // “My apologies, but… what?”
- Of course it is never the answer he expected, but when you plead to help him solve it, this page is more than willing to do so
- Now both of you are going around the town looking for clues and asking who you think are involved; partners-in-crime!
- You did get to gorge on manjuu (and tea, lots of it) with Ranmaru when the case is solved!
UESUGI-TAKEDA FORCES
Kenshin
- Oh boy, make sure you won’t overwork yourself by being with this man, being a battle-loving man that he is pt.2
- “How dare you try to even speak with MC; draw your swords. Now.” // “Kenshin-sama, even if I’m used to seeing the deceased, please don’t do that. You’re scaring your own men!”
- He has little to no problem in taking her along to the battlefield, too! One more way to keep her in sight at all times
- Sometimes when you two are drinking and think he had too much you just had to stop him, to his slight annoyance. You have seen many deaths due to alcohol poisoning and definitely wouldn’t want him to be in the list… Bunshin Lord Kenshin appreciates the thought though
- Like Nobunaga, he allows you to do some research on the dead bodies, anything useful for the ongoing war
Shingen
- How can an angel such as you be associated with death and decay? He thinks
- But this daddy needs to accept the fact that you are quite comfortable around such! However once your investigation takes a scary turn expect him to nearby, comforting you with soothing words, or a hug… or eating sweet buns as many as you’d like to calm yourself down
- At first he is reluctant to let you get near the deceased, however whenever he sees your expression light up whenever he makes a cheesy comment (albeit in a rather awkward place) he thought of going along with it
- “Hm, this job of yours is unfitting in every way.” // “Oh yeah? How so?” // “You are brimming with life that I do think you are a goddess who descended upon us men.” // “Ah, here we go again…”
- You have to admit, his presence help you keep your sanity as you used to work alone for long periods of time
Yukimura
- “I thought you might be running away now once you see these.” // “As if they’ll chase me! Unless… are they still alive?” // “Weird woman…”
- This tsun does admire how brave you are after even making such joke
- Along with Sasuke, you three are pretty much effective when doing some investigation at the enemy’s base with you giving them (modern) tips of not getting caught. Unusual hiding spots? Hidden weapons? Suspicious people? All checked and cleared!
- He has been doing that for a long while now, but hearing your strange ideas do sound plausible… especially when ninja friend is highly approving it
- If Sasuke trusts you, he surely starts to trust you (and your skills) too
Sasuke
- Once again, be paired up with Yuki and you three would make a great investigation/espionage team
- When investigating, you and memelord ninja are speaking to each other in partly jargon, partly heavily-memed language
- Possibly having watched and/or read crimes shows or movie you two are getting along so well
- “So here’s our undercover story: husband, wife and husband’s best friend---” // “Wait, do we get cool names too?!” // “Yeah, I’ll get to that part later… or I’ll do it now. Miyako, Tsune and Chozaburo; sounds cool?” // “Noice.”
- As the conversation continues, Yuki is left by himself to wonder how on earth did he get friends like you, shaking his head lightly as your talk no longer makes sense to him
Yoshimoto
- This beautiful mailman sees you one day sketching and as a man of the arts he comes over to look at what you’re drawing
- What he sees is a detailed sketch of a man, possibly a random person. The facial structure, features are all spot on! He is in full admiration mode
- “My, such a lovely piece you are making there. Has someone commissioned you to make him a portrait?” // “Actually Yoshimoto-san, I am making this to be posted around town. A wanted poster of some sorts… he’s a criminal.”
- You explained to him your job as a forensic artist, and he listens to every single word of it. Yoshimoto would find himself asking about your style of sketching as you continue drawing
- When the posters are up he is one of those people who would look at it for a long time; for him it’s not for memorizing the perp’s face, but simply to appreciate the art, fanning himself ever so gracefully
