DAILY BRAINROT

Today I biked the whole way from my apartment to Walmart, and somehow it left me in significantly more pain than walking does. I also learned that it's really easy to lose things from bike baskets and ended up making it the whole way to my kitchen before I realized that the bottle of lime juice I bought ended up in the parking lot.

0/10 experience, would not recommend.

I still hold fast to the idea that Academia AU Hyrule bikes a lot of places, though because he's just Built Different. I haven't played his games yet because I want to do LoZ before AoL and I haven't figured out how to set it up on my phone yet, but it fits.

If I remember correctly, he's only ever described as being a traveler, and since he doesn't have any form of transportation other than walking, I think it's safe to say he's either an average citizen or on the poor side. (I also just love the idea of poor college student Hyrule in modern AUs. It's a whole vibe.)

And can you imagine this guy driving a car? I feel like he's got his driver's license for legal identification purposes and so that he can say he can drive, he just doesn't like doing it. (Him and Spirit bond over their dislike of car-based infrastructure.) He can and will drive Twilight's rusty old pickup truck in emergencies, though.

Public transportation like the bus is also something I can see him using, especially if he can't use his bike at the moment, but the bus system is something a person can easily get lost in. I once ended up at the wrong terminal for an hour because I got on a bus going in the opposite direction I was trying to go.

Anyway, I am captivated by the idea of giving him a mountain bike that's in the classic green and brown Link color palette. It's clearly old and loved, and Four's had to help take it apart and put it back together at least once now, but it's never broken beyond repair, and it's always gotten him where he wants to go. (Eventually.) It probably also has one or two modifications so he can carry stuff on it without losing things in the parking lot like me.

I also had some thoughts about EoW again, but I lost them because my brain is just full of bikes...

Soo, it was a 10 days and 9 night vacation and it started with a 12+ h long car travelling. 12+ h. And i forgot my headphones at home. It was horrible. I will never forget them at home again.

We (aka me, my mom, my dad, my older brother and his gf) stayed at my aunt's. But, the problem was that, that there was only one (1) bedroom. Which my aunt and my uncle used, so they slept there now too. Me and my mom slept on a inflatable mattress, my brother and his gf slept on the couch and my dad slept on a mattres on the balcony 🤣🤣

But as every family vacation, everyone argued with everyone so it was quite funny (for me at least)

We went to 3 different beach, we walked almost the whole city, we visited the Schönbrunn Palace, we went to a big as fuck zoo-like park, the swans chased me, we went to the amusement park where I tried almost everyone. There were dance thingies at night, we went and watched those too and went to 2 concert. So, basically we did everything expect resting. Which was, btw, the whole vacation's main essence.

I'm currently reading a dark era/15 era dazai x oc fic on wattpad and I dreamt abt ittt

But it was not some lovely-dovely dream, no, i had to have a damn nightmare.

So, I outline what it was:

Me and I think 16? yrs old dazai were dating and in a happy relationship and dazai bought some ultra luxury house which had a whole floor that was a pool. And there were different slides that were life-threatening. And there were many ppl there as well, I think it was a party or something. And the whole day I was in the pool and somehow I got a very very bad feeling. And somehow I found out from Dazai's friends (who were not odasaku, ango or chuuya) that he was CHEATING ON ME. AND WHEN I WENT TO FIND OUT THERE WAS SOME BITCH HUGGING AND TRYING TO KISS HIM. AND WHEN I CALMLY (seriously, i was actually calm. but how, idk) HE JUST IGNORED ME????? LIKE THE FUCK????? But at least he didn't let that slut kiss him. But didn't said no to her or tried to take her hands off him. And then I broke up with him.

And now time skip-

I somehow ended up trying out one of the deadly slides and he sat behind me. It was roller coaster and a slide mix, i can't explain better. And when I thought I'm gonna die (seriously, THAT THING WAS HORRIFYING) I accidently screamed his name and THAT MF IGNORED ME AGAIN. HE WAS RIGHT BEHIND ME. I WAS SHOUTING WITH ALL I HAD. THE AUDACY?!?!?

And then time skip again-

Somehow me, dazai and a bunch of ppl were in an underground tunnel that was made of rocks I think. And we had to climb up idk why. And when I asked everyone to please help me EVERYONE DIDN'T GIVE A FUCK AND OSAMU WHO WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ME STARTED TO CLIMB FASTER IGNORING ME 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I hate this dream. This was my first dazai dream AND HE FUCKING CHEATS ON ME?!?!?!??!?!

CAPTAIN BRITAIN COSTUME RATINGS

Totally impromtu and totally subective to my tastes! Focusing on Brian because his are the costumes i have the strongest feelings towards. Here we goooo!!!!

Original: 6/10

This one is a-okay and ive seen it look really cool in the hands of some artists, but it’s not a fave. The mask is cool, i like the big lion, and the Union Jack armbands are pretty neat, but it just doesnt really come together to me. Also i think Lionheart wore it better, but nobody gives a damn about her 😔

Alan Davis design: 10/10

PLEASE look at this suit, the simple iconic design, the color placements, the boots, the COOL helmet with the chin guard, i love it so much. I used to be confused by the huge X his costume makes but it does fit with how much he associates with X-Men characters. This will always be one of my favorite Alan Davis designs, and now that I’ve seen the other potential costumes he drew when brainstorming i can say we hit the fucking jackpot here.

Alan Davis Redux: 9/10

I dont like this one as much as Davis’ original design, but it’s still really good. The color balance is more or less the same, and as as a person who has drawn the previous Captain Britain suit i do appreciate the simplification. Plus, the biggest thing I appreciate Davis bringing to Captain Britain’s design is his beefy physique, and that has yet to change. So what’s to complain about?

Britannic: 2/10

In terms of 90s redesigns this is about as inoffensive as you can get, but it’s so damn boring. This looks like something Brian would wear for some one-off Excalibur mission, but it’s just his regular suit. Hell it looks like an undersuit that’s missing some kinda armor! Literally only thing worse than this costume to me is the name “Britannic.” Like are you kidding me. The only reason he isnt 1/10 is this is some of the best hair Brian has ever had. Literally a helmetless version of any of his costumes with this flowing hair would be SICK.

King of Otherworld: 3/10

Really don’t give a fuck about this one tbh. It’s not all bad, it’s clearly drawing from his original costume with some of the iconography and i can certainly see that working, but without the mask??? The best part of his original costume??? Or maybe some variation on helmets? Also, again, Lionheart basically wore a version of this suit that was better in every way.

New Excalibur: 8/10

Okay now we’re talking!!! A nice update of the classic design that makes a few interesting changes. I always thought the black sleeves were kinda neat, as is the helmet resembling a more traditional superhero mask. The modern detailings, however, i’m completely indifferent toward. You could tell me this was Ultimate Captain Britain and id believe you (which is funny as some of the Ultimate designs resemble the classic suit way more than this one does). Still, not bad at all!

M.I. 13: 4/10

Im gonna be real, this is probably my least favorite one, but i don’t think it’s the worst. It’s just so bland. It’s not like a helmetless look couldnt work, Brian and Betsy rock that look quite a bit, and Ultimate Jamie Braddock KILLS with it. But like the overly simplistic design, thinner build, lame haircut, he’s just missing so many vital qualities.

Sword of Might: 7/10

This design is very cool and i love how it combines his og and classic looks in a more armored appearance. If he had blue covering his mouth this would be my favorite upgrade of his original design. However i ultimately don’t think this is a design id wanna see regularly because i just don’t like his original suit that much. But still, so cool to see!

Captain Avalon: 6/10

I greatly appreciate the return of the BEEF but i find this suit kinda mid. It’s just a Captain Britain reskin, like he’s Thunderstrike or the Scarlet Spider. But that’s perfectly okay. Do you have any recs for ongoing catradora fics?

asdfghjkl yes? i was about to ask you why would you want them but then i remember other ppl are not cursed like me, since one: most rec'd ongoing fics i've seen are never completed, and two: i think im cursed. “Daor.” You rub at his back with your foot, gently. You hold him close, and nuzzle his neck, delighting in his scent. Never you had thought before you would enjoy the smell of sweat and some sort of aromatic oil, yet here you are. “Vūjigon.”

Daemon's expressions softens. He leans in and gives you a kiss. You make pleased, chirping noises, trying to show him that was precisely what you wanted.

He complies, releasing your hands. You enthusiastically hug him. It helps you anchor yourself against the unrelenting waves of pleasure.

His hands, now freed from yours, are everywhere. Twisting your buds, rubbing at your pearl, squeezing your waist. Daemon whispers nonsense in your ears, takes the lobe between his teeth. He aids you, tilting your hips with his hands, reaching deeper.

You heard a story once, about Westeros. A white hart was said to come to the greatest Kings alive. A magnificent beast, tall as a man, with skin made of the purest snow and antlers as long and imposing as the branches of an ancient tree. If a King encountered it, it was a good omen for his rule. It would be just and prosperous, blessed by the Gods.

What did they do with the hart? Keep it in Kingswood, perhaps? You had made the mistake of asking, once. You had been told that they used the best spear they had. That men held the hart down, and they gutted it from head to belly.

The perfect, regal beast, fur as pale as snow. The pristine white sheets under you. Blood tainting the white. What a way to go.

You understood then why they called it a small death. You were sweating, squealing like a beast being gutted, thighs trembling under Daemon's hands. It was too much and too little, and you felt yourself reaching it, yearning for it.

You did not care if you burned, moth to a flame, maiden to a dragon. Daemon seemed to realize it because his hand went to rub at your pearl, and he leaned in.

“….” He was talking, but it was in that strange language of his, and your ears were ringing, you felt about to explode. Your body responded to his tone, though. Gentle, loving, coaxing you over the edge with a scream so fierce you might as well have been one of those weeping women that appeared far north.

Daemon grinned at you. A fierce, proud expression, eyes crinkling in the corners. You pulled him into a kiss, and raked your nails down his back, feeling the skin yield like butter under your fingers. It spurred him on, and with a gasp and a bite to your shoulder, Daemon was shattering inside you.

He collapsed on top of you with a laugh. You smiled. Daemon pulled you to rest, back flush against his chest, and you understood each other better than those who spoke the same, common tongue, did.

i can't offer any assistance with geforce bc not only do I not understand what it is besides possibly remote gaming(???), technology may as well be magic to me. my sister was asking about what kind of pc i have and all i could tell her was "it's a computer" so i wish you luck on that. case in point: i need to add another harddrive to my pc. i got one. i have no idea how to install it. g**gle is unhelpful. i may resort to calling one of my uncles for help.

i don't have a lot to say, I've been consumed by my old Skyrim hyperfixation and haven't even touched Dishonored 😔

side note: if/whenever you get skyrim (bc i saw it on the wishlist screenshot), there's a mod called The Staff of Shalidor that is a little player house inside a staff. its very nicely designed and its portable so you can dump shit in there when you're carrying too much. many many containers. i love it. ALSO there's one called Chateau du Fromage and it has CHEESE SNOWMEN. LIKE. SNOWMEN BUT MADE OF CHEESE WHEELS. THEY HAVE LITTLE CHEESE TITS. it's great and I've been calling it the Cheese Tit House. but i had the Staff mod ages ago when i had a... different copy of the pc game and i was very excited to see it was still uploaded.

I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY SKYRIM WITH CHEESE SNOWMEN AND CHEESE TITS. i played the unmodded version on xbox 60000 years ago when it came out (only after my brother told me you could be gay in it) and it's one of the first games where i learned to get comfortable with first-person controls. so ive always wanted to dive back in on pc where i could use all the insane things nexusmods could throw at me. modding stardew valley was the first experience i had with modding pc games (outside of a few cosmetic adjustments on ffxi back in the day) and it made a WORLD of difference in how i was able to enjoy the game. so im really excited about that!!! man congrats on skyrim that is just one hit of dopamine after another huh
