i will always ALWAYS say that blackfish is one of the best and most powerful documentaries ever created.
#maybe it’s just because i grew up in florida in the early 2000s#and i distinctly REMEMBER the height of their shamu killer whale marketing#and then i REMEMBER when dawn was killed and all the talk of tilikum and the lawsuits#and now i’m such a fierce shark and whale protector and advocate bc i think those events shaped me a little#leah rambles
