an open letter to “a*mys” who really have no place in this fandom, let alone any:
{TL;DR at the bottom}
I think I speak on behalf of many fans across the board when I say that “fans” or “stans”, or whatever the hell you wanna call yourselves, like you overshadow the genuine people who are here to actually support an artist we all love. Not only are you all childish, but you act out of spite and will do anything to make sure other groups fail. And for what?
I don’t know if you’ve all noticed but there are other groups that exist outside of bts and some groups, dare I say it, that do produce better content & music than they do. It isn’t a criticism to bts themselves but rather acknowledging the fact that other artists have worked hard, if not harder, to reach the same place and achieve the same goal.
A fandom is not a religion. It is not a cult. And despite the fandom name, it is not an army. It is not a governing body of any sort, but rather a group of people who have come together to share the same love and passion for the same songs, music and the people that work so hard to provide us with it. So it won’t kill you to support other artists, it won’t kill you to let bts lose, it won’t kill you to act like a decent fucking human being and it certainly won’t kill you to shut the fuck up for once.
And let’s be honest, I really don’t think winning anything else will mean much to them, not in the grand scope of things. I don’t say it smugly or to brag, but to express just how boring it is to watch a group reach their peak far too early because they think success is defined by endlessly pumping out mediocre music just to please their insatiable, impatient and nasty fans. Yes I’m proud of how far they have come but their awards and trophies have become nothing more than bragging rights for a*mys, useless silver accumulating dust in a cabinet. Winning is not everything and certainly means nothing if the content is subpar.
Even if you have no interest in other groups, even if bts are your one and only ults, that does not in any way, shape or form give you the excuse to bash on others the way you all do. Your behaviour is appalling and so shameful, so abnormal it’s actually unbelievable. Your lack of empathy and understanding is astonishing; the way I’ve seen you all treat monbebes recently and even turning on other genuine armys for supporting another group instead of your precious bts is just truly disgusting.
Your obsessive nature with winning and putting others down and your weird superiority complexes never cease to amaze me in the worst way and I hope that someday soon you’ll look back at all this and realise it was never that fucking deep.
Your behaviour is an eerie echo of s*saeng behaviour, short of the actual stalking.
While yes, some accounts and people behind said accounts are clearly trolls, there are some of you who actually believe bts are your gods. They’re not. They are just normal human beings you have so foolishly pumped all your cash into and who’ve now become the very people you like to cry about the most; multi-millionaires, billionaires, celebrities with fading personalities.
I would say I’m disappointed but disappointment would imply that I expect better from you all and the honest truth is I really don’t. “Fans” like y’all are toxic, lonely and delusional and this behaviour only tarnishes bts’ image further. You drive away other genuine fans and just dampen the whole experience.
I suggest you all either get help or go outside because there is more to life than dangerously obsessing over people who don’t even know you exist. Get a life or a hobby that actually requires you to use the last two brain cells you have fighting in your empty head for attention. Imagine working this hard only to have fans like y’all? They honestly deserve so much more.
TL;DFR: a*mys are pathetic, deluded bullies who have nothing better to do than to shit on other artists, some of who are actually better than bts. Y’all need to grow up and realise Kpop isn’t that deep and get over yourselves and your superiority & god complexes. Humble yourselves, you fucking morons.

Okay some drama on Twitter
And rumors about Jackson that are not even true.
Some army's and please read I said some SOME! Army's not all SOME were making up lies about Jackson dating hwasa look at the pictures below if you have Twitter please report them.

Now understand BTS was my first group and I had fell in love with their music.
And I have friends who are army's and they're just as upset because of these army's for giving them a bad name. Not all army's are toxic.
However these people on the pics didn't give a damn if they ruin the life of two people they don't care plus
It's not just about RM but K Army's are afraid of Jin's dating will be exposed but those are all rumors from kfans. Now if some army's who are reading this don't even know that RM is Best friends with Jackson Wang before any of them had Fame, and jungkook is best friends with yugyeom from GOT7 if you didn't know that before now you know now.
I'm tired that every fandom gets triggered by the thought of their faves dating for example Jimin and Nayeon. Remember your favorite kpop idol is human.
If any mamamoo member was to date any of the members of GOT7 I would be totally fine with that I would be happy because I really like mamamoo they're amazing.
Plus ahgases are one of the few fans that actually push GOT7 into dating like IGOT7 they end up becoming fans of girls that GOT7 have interacted with, but when somebody, it doesn't matter who it is if someone comes up with some kind of shi* don't expect a nice greeting from IGOT7.
I want to thank multifandoms
Like monbebes. mydays. ELF. including army's etc and more who report these toxic accounts And others
Please let's be respectful. No K-pop idol deserves disrespect.
And again please finish reading everything. thank you

SHINE FOREVER
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iewWMqeMpqU
I just want to appreciate this music video and this song for a minute. Like, can we? Can we talk about the meaning behind the video and behind the song? Or how deep this is for monbebe's and for the members? And how much they mean to each other? how much we mean to them? how much they mean to us? Because I can't really get over it right now, I am in a mood I guess. The first time I watched this music video, I had just begun the monbebe journey and didn't really understand it and I haven't rally understood it for a long time? So now re-watching it for as much i have re-watched it, i have to rant/vent/uwu over it.The song, as stated by the members is for us, quoting from Kihyun, “The song repeats the words ‘shine forever’ a lot. It means that we will always make you shine.” And with the album this was song, they said they didn't care about the charting or anything, that it was a gift for us
And the music video, you can see that it was to show their relationship with each other, that they would love each other and overcome anything together. I stan many groups, I know a lot of groups are really close to their members and i wont take anything away from them but Monsta X is probably one of the closest IF not the most closest out of any group I know. They have already been though and already have overcame a lot to be where they are now. I watched NoMercy one time, i cried and seen and felt the emotions and what they went through. They grew so close to people that were eliminated and then Changkyun coming in after losing someone they had been close to and having to learn to trust him after going through so much together and with someone that was no longer there with them. SO many tears were shed and i think that is why the bond is so much deeper for them. They went there with only one thing in their minds. Making it, they had too, They couldn't fail and the pressure of that, plus the intensity of the show itself was a lot for each member. They leaned on each other not knowing who was going home. They formed something so pure and beautiful.
I hate that I couldn't be there from the beginning, I hate that I wasn't into kpop, I hate that i didn't even know it was a thing. Because it's so beautiful. The love they have for each other and the love they have for Monbebes. I really adore the fact that we are a family. We aren't just like a family, or an almost family, WE ARE A FAMILY. and everyone involved takes that so seriously. don't feel love like this apart from my blood family and something about that is just so beautiful and i wouldn't trade it for the world. I don't feel like a freak or like I'm different when it comes to MX or other MBBs. I feel like I'm home. Maybe it's just me and maybe some people don't think it's that deep, but to people like me, who go through so much in our day to day lives, who struggle with stuff, bills, depression, anxiety, what have you, we have a place to be happy, free, loved and accepted. They are so humble and kind and amazing human beings. As a lot of people tell me "its just a phase" we all go through phases, yeah and some people out grow them or move on, but I am a person that doesn't just go through things, to out grown them or to move on to something different. I don't think I'll ever not be a monbebe. I can become a part of any fandom, I am an ARMY, an ahgase, an EXO-L, a carat, an ELF, NCTizen, a VIP, and I’ll probably add so many more to that list, but I will always be a Monbebe first, even if I was into EXO first. Because of the connection i have had to MX, to MBBs. I love both so dearly and it's so deep for me because it's my home away from home. It is my safe haven, my safe place when I feel like everything is falling apart.
This post got wayyy to personal, continue scrolling now I just had to get this off my chest. (will edit later, forgive the typos)

Unpopular Kpop Industry Opinions
While everyone is probably waiting for me to write something for one of my stories, I wrote this because they are being heavily edited and I felt like it. Also people keep messaging or commenting on my stories with some of these things and now I’m setting them straight on how I feel. It’s unlikely that someone will change my mind, but you can try.
1. It’s okay to not like a person in a group or only like one member.
It’s a controversial opinion because we all want to believe in the unity of a group and people have begun to shame solo stans and call them out for being problematic. However, the reality is no one is going to like everyone, so why should someone have to like every single member of a group. Everyone is saying solo stans destroy a group, but it’s not people who solo stan idols, but people who in general hate on idols within the group. There are idols who get involved constantly in scandals or can just be plain uninteresting to people. No one should be forced to full heartedly support every member in a group. People like what they like. That being said those people who only like one member should be aware that when supporting the one member they like, they’re probably supporting the rest of the group as well.
2. Being an idol should be a job and not a lifestyle
So this one is a bit hard to explain, but I’ll do my best. When someone becomes an idol they give up a lot of different things from the ability to date someone to higher education opportunities. That being said I don’t think they should have to give up certain things like dating. However, they do, to an extent, have to please their fans and give up some of their privacy. NOT ALL of their privacy but SOME. Look at the early BTS logs where they gave fans a small peak into their dorm life, I’m talking that type of privacy. They should not be followed, their family members should not be followed, and their significant others should be left alone by the public.
However, Idols need to realize that when they choose to reveal parts of their private life they can have backlash that is justifiable. For example, D.O. choosing to enter the army. He handled it in a smart professional way where he let SM release and official statement after it was discovered that he had submitted for military service. A bad example would be Sulli for posting a picture on vacation during the middle of Red Light promotions, despite both her and SM making a statement that she was sick. While she is entitled to a mental health holiday it was dumb to post a picture or let a picture be posted. Her job was to be an idol and promote with f(x), but it looked really bad when she was at the beach having fun while the other members were all at music show recordings. Especially when later Krystal ended up fainting from overworking during the same time period. She was dealing with a lot of scandals at the time, but it’s not really an excuse. Look at it this way, if you called in sick for work during an important time, where it’s busy and were friends with your boss and coworkers on social media, you wouldn’t post about how much fun you’re having at the beach.
It is an idol’s job to maintain their image, but they’re people as well.
3. Hyuna made the right choice by revealing her relationship with E-Dawn even though Cube denied it
This was a huge issue at the time and it basically blew every other thing currently happening in the Kpop world away when they two came forward with their relationship while their company denied it. One of the issues it also blew away was the fact that the entire Kpop community online was referring to Hyuna as a sexual predator for the way that she was interacting with E-Dawn with petitions popping up to have her charged with sexual harassment and kicked out of Cube. All this was happening during the time that #Metoo entered South Korea, so many people became invested in Hyuna and E-Dawn before they were even officially announced for the fact that many believed Hyuna was getting away with harassing him.
At that point in time it would be unknown if Pentagon was going to continue to thrive after Shine, but one thing was certain was that if they didn’t confirm the relationship Hyuna’s career would be over and she would be labeled as a sexual predator. The two of them announcing the relationship saved Hyuna’s career. In all honesty, Hyuna is an amazing dancer and idol, however, she’s just an idol. While her image is seen as sexy and raunchy at times it’s not criminal and she needed to maintain it if she wanted to keep making money. When looking at E-Dawn there’s no denying he has talent, but Hyuna has been a part of the industry for so long that there’s no denying her career was worth more sentimentally to a lot of fans and quantitatively when it comes to income.
I believe the two of them were smart enough to know that Hyuna could get picked up by another company. I also think they were smart enough to know that eventually when everything died down E-Dawn would probably be able to work as a producer or composer, even if he never got to perform on stage. If the two had not revealed their relationship pentagon would have still lost a lot of popularity due to the multiple dating scandals popping up and Hyuna probably wouldn’t have a career at all.
4. Twice is currently the only girl group from the big 3 companies that is actually interesting to WATCH
So in all honesty Twice isn’t really my thing, but I’m honestly a little sick of people hating on them and saying that Red Velvet and BlackPink are more talented. In all honesty, all 3 groups are talented. However, Twice seems to be the only group that has consistent stage presence and chemistry compared to the other two. Not to mention JYP has done an incredible job in styling them different for each concept and also changing up choreography and choreographers to make sure that each individual release isn’t the same. I think SM does a pretty good job with this when it comes to music videos and MVs, but when it comes to stage performances I don’t think they change it up that often. I also think one of the reasons that Bad Boy did so well was because it was truly different from everything they had done at that point. Also, sometimes the Red Velvet members don’t seem to mesh well together or look uncomfortable on stage. Part of it comes down to styling because both Irene and Joy were forced to wear revealing clothing that made it hard to do choreography wise. However, sometimes they just give lack luster performances though when it comes to stages, especially when compared with the other groups in their company that have great chemistry and stand out performances. That’s not to say they don’t have some absolutely phenomenal performances, but it’s sort of left up to chance. When it comes to BlackPink… Everything except for Stay is the same. The concept the style and even the choreographies and formations are the same and maybe they’re slightly elevated but not by much. A lot of choreography for BlackPink is done by the same choreographer and he has a tendency to use the same planes of motion when choregraphing for them and it’s starting to show. I also think this comes from there always being such a quick release for BlackPink, so not much time is given for the members of the team to prepare something new, so they use old concepts and things they know will look decent on stage. I also think that a lot of BlackPink’s music sounds the same and I also think that’s due to them rushing out what they know will sell.
I just want to make it clear that all these groups have decent music. It’s just that you know you’ll get a good live performance (styling, choregraphy, and stage presence) from Twice, you can get some but not consistent lives from Red Velvet, and you’re getting almost the same performance from BlackPink. Not that BlackPink’s performances are bad, but it just feels like I may have seen it before.
5. Kpop fans need to get over it when someone says something negative about their groups in Western Media
So the main thing to note is I said negative, not racist. If someone says something racist it needs to be called out. However, when I think of this topic I think of Monbebe’s and Monsta X and NCT. I’m not going to lie I roll my eyes every time an interviewer asks these two groups about BTS, but I can also recognize that BTS is now what most people recognize as Kpop so the comparison is expected. I also even understand stupid comments like “I’ve never heard of them before”. It’s a fact that the larger world hasn’t heard of these groups. They’re allowed to dislike these groups and their music and make these comments because it’s their opinions, but fans can’t sit there and demand an apology from every person who makes a negative comment. It makes the larger Kpop fandom look bad as well as makes things more difficult for the groups. Western media does not operate on the same politeness that Korean media does, and fans need to recognize that. When they demand apologies for every little thing it makes people hesitant to work with Kpop groups in the future for fear of backlash and also may attract people who know they can draw attention to themselves by making fun of these groups and upsetting their fans. Neither is a good thing for Kpop groups.
6. Idols from the top 3 companies aren’t the most talented they’re the most marketable
So I’m not saying that groups from the big three companies aren’t talented because that’s just a straight up lie. Some of the biggest legends in Kpop come from the big three. When I started Kpop the joke was SM was 100% looks, YG was 20% looks 80% talent, and JYP was 100% talent. I sort of laughed at that then because I didn’t really believe it because of the groups in the companies. At the time Big Bang, Girls Generation, Miss A, 2Ne1, Shinee, and 2PM were super popular and all of these groups had undeniable talented, even though there are members of some of those groups that were put there just for looks all members could at least sing, dance, or rap(to a tolerable level). However, now I feel like the groups from the big three are lack luster. That could be because smaller companies have gotten better at promoting their idols, but I also think it’s because fans of kpop are more aware of marketing tactics. Idols get selected for groups because companies know they will sell not because they will be really talented. Take Irene for example, who is not particularly good at anything, but is exceptionally beautiful and an all around lovely human being. She was put there to draw attention for her looks not because she’s talented. Twice is another good example, when you look at the show they came from their were plenty of trainees who were eliminated who were as talented or more talented than the members when they first debuted. However, they were some of the more pretty and polished members as well as being high ranked on the fan voting. They literally added Tzuyu because they knew people would buy things with her face on it. At the end of the day although most people see kpop as music it’s a music industry and meant to make money. That means that people who will make these companies money get to debut. Part of the thing that attracts fans unfortunately is beauty and that probably won’t change anytime soon.
7. A visual position is one of the dumbest things to ever exist, but it will never disappear because of South Korea’s opinion on beauty.
I mean I had heard about how much appearances in South Korea mattered, but I don’t think it ever sank in how much they mattered in South Korea until I lived here. From mirrors literally everywhere (that people will stop to actually use) to how insanely young girls start dieting (Literally my 3rd grade student). Appearances matter here and will get you attention or completely shunned. I think it’s stupid that incredibly talented people will never get to debut because they don’t have the looks of an artist whether that be an idol or something else in this country. However, it’s never going to change. It’s something quintessential to kpop emphasis on the K for Korean, so it’s up to Korea if they want to change that and I don’t think they do.

so hey this is me talking. no reblogging. so I've officially become a carat which means I'm part of 5 kpop fandoms now. which isnt a lot for some of you but its huge for me. I'm officially a
Army (Bts)
exo-l/eris (exo)
igot7/aghase (got7)
monbebe (Monsta x)
carat (seventeen)
this is huge for me because when I first got into kpop I was completely army. I was stuck inside this mindset that only favored bts. I now realize that is completely wrong after falling in love with all these other groups. I dont plan to stop here. I have over ten groups I want to get into (nct kinda scares me not going to lie).
I hope many of you who stan only one group make the choice of branching out and looking into more groups. I'm able to smile more because of all these boys, and I'm so glad I have all these amazing poeple to look up to.

So, I've just watched a YouTube video and in the comments they were talking about "toxic" fans and "toxic" fandoms.
Someone mentioned how "toxic" fandoms shift and how at one point one fandom was considered "toxic" and a year later it was another. They also talked about how they suspect that in 2019 either NCTzen or Stay could become the next fandom being labelled as "toxic".
Of course this is just one person's opinion and nothing more but it made me reflect on some things:
You can't keep a fandom clean of "toxic" fans since they can and will be found everywhere and in every fandom. However, I noticed from my own experience there's certain fandoms that managed to stay on the down-low for as far as I've seen. Or at least, I haven't seen the fandoms engage in fanwars or there had never been any big incident going on.
I guess it's impossible to stay fully free from incidents but I hope we can manage to stay on the down-low and stay a loving fandom (both Stay & NCTzen ofc) throughout 2019 and the years to come.
And in general, I just wish all of us could spread more love in the upcoming year, no matter whether this love will be directed to your faves or another group, just spread that love and support.
There's something that all kpop groups have in common and that all of us should be able to agree on and that is them being in an extremely hard and judgmental industry with very high expectations and beauty standards. All kpop groups and every single member has worked their butt off to get to the point where they are now (regardless of whether you like them or not) and I hope you all agree with me when I say all of them deserve the same amount of love and support since all of them do need it. However, of course I don't mean to say you can't have an ult group, I'm just trying to say it's very unhealthy to make one group seem superior to the other or even worse, putting another group down.
Therefore, I hope Stays, NCTzen, Carats, Monbebes, Armies, exo-l, igot7, Reveluv, Blinks, Once, and literally any fandom can unite a bit more in the upcoming year and support and spread love upon everyone.
In the end we are all here because of one reason and that is, we love kpop, so why do we feel the need to fight?
Let's stick together and hype all groups to the moon and back because they deserve that appreciation.
#ugh sorry for writing so much ;-;#why do i feel like i'll get hate for this post?#i'm kinda anxious to post it but i'd also like to speak my mind#kachu rambles#kpop#stray kids#nct#stay#nctzen#kpop fandom#fandom wars

Just a little note....
Im going to warn you all now...if any of you, and I mean any of you come into my job when I’m working be warned I will yell at you and tell you I love the merch you have on. A girl came into my job a few weeks ago after the Day6 concert in Phili wearing a concert sweatshirt. And I was in the middle of serving a customer when I saw her, I was in the middle of serving a fucking person, and I stoped and yelled at her “HEY I LOVE YOUR DAY6 SWEATSHIRT!!!”
As a result we ended up talking and I found out she was a Sungjin Stan and I told her that I was a Wonpil Stan. Her mom was shook and when I say shook I mean shook that there was another girl who liked Day6. After that I ran into one other time but it didn’t last long because we were busy.
Then on Sunday, she stopped by and asked for me specifically. I had no idea what her name was at the time so I called her “Sungjin Stan” but because my name was on my deli jacket, because yes I work in a deli, she asked for me specifically. I was honestly not have a great day. It was the day after I had sliced a chunk of my finger off on a slicer (be careful kids) and was working two days before Christmas. She came up and gave me a card in a blue envelope and I assumed it was a Christmas card and proceeded to open it since we were slow. But boy I was wrong. Inside the card was a Wonpil post card and Polaroid photo card from their seasons greetings and a bunch of stickers. She told me that she thought I should have these and also gave me her phone number and wished me a happy holidays.
I almost cried on spot. It was the sweetest thing ever considering that we had only met twice that she still remembered me and I remembered her. I am happy to say that the photo card now is on display in my clear phone case for all to see. I am happy to say that we are becoming friends as we talk to each other over text.
So if I yell at you and tell you I love your shirt or whatever. Know I’m not trying to embarrass you but instead I want to be your friend. I hope that you all can find a special friend like this, whether it be a fellow MyDay, Stay, ARMY, EXO-L, Once, NCTZEN, Monbebe, Carat, The B, or whom ever you Stan. Let’s remember that we are all friends and try not to bring each other down!!!

Chapter 1: Baby Bird
when fandoms become people and they all go to the same school.... what kind of trouble will unfold? a story of the kpop fandom’s drama in a school where everyone is their fandom.
A/N: i still have heaps of characters to introduce, but this will focus strongly on the introduction of characters. the pov will change per chapter and of course, i started with my main fandom.
enjoy
“Hey! Ahgase! Did you hear?” Once ran towards his friend outside the school, terrifying those younger and smaller students around him. Once is a large boy, taller than most and strongly built with the biggest heart to match. His hazel eyes looked like an autumn skyline and his blond hair he is constantly dying an array of bright colours, but right now he’s kept it natural and sandy.
The smaller friend looked up. “Hi Once. And no, I’ve been pretty preoccupied right now.” Ahgase had green eyes and vibrant green hair with dark roots growing around their soft round features, dark eyebrows and almost looked to be a mix of every ethnicity you could find. “Hi Once. And no, I’ve been pretty preoccupied right now.”
“Well, apparently Aeris and Army had this huge fight, Aeris even brought in like… everyone. She tried to get me involved but it wasn’t really my business.” Once rambled as the two of them walked towards the school. “Well, Reveluv and Blink were getting involved and I think Blink didn’t want to take a side but it was obvious she was more biased towards Army but then Reveluv was like ‘we’re practically family’ so she was siding with Aeris and like it’s not any of my business but I honestly think-”
“Oh my god, breathe!” MyDay, a small kid with brown hair that covered their grey eyes but showed off the many freckles over their nose and a surprising amount of flannels in their wardrobe, had joined the conversation. “You can talk forever without taking a breath. It’s scary.” Once laughed as the three of them walked into school.
“Oh! Another thing! Monbebe and Carat were seen on a date!” Once exclaimed.
“Wait really?” Ahgase stopped walking to put their bag into their locker. “I thought they were best friends?”
“I heard from Aroha that they seem to be more than that. I was talking with Carat the other night about it.” Once moved to another locker further down to get rid of his bag, MyDay snuck between the crowds of people and disappeared to their locker.
Ahgase sighed and put on their glasses. They stepped out to close their locker, but someone beat them to it, slamming it closed and looking at the smaller, now startled person. “Army. You scared me.” Ahgase grabbed their chest and waited for their heart rate to slow. “What’s up?”
“Aeris is toxic,” Army said simply.
“What do you mean?” Ahgase said, trying to avoid Army’s gaze. Army was a large person, who identified as gender fluid. Today, he was wearing a blue necklace, meaning he/him pronouns were in place. He was even bigger than Once, and dyed his hair often, usually in darker colours. At the moment, it was black with purple highlights, and his dark brown eyes were decorated with purple eyeshadow.
“Every time I try to do something… every time… she has to outdo me. It’s so unnecessary.” Army ran his hands through his hair.
“Um… maybe… that’s the case, but did you ever think… you do the same in return?” Ahgase suggested, looking at their feet.
“But… they do it to spite me! It’s like she wants me to hate her.” Army growled.
“Look… Army, if you’re going to continue this advice seeking, maybe you should start paying me to listen.” Ahgase exhaled and put an earphone in. “Maybe she’s just slightly threatened by you? I mean… like three years ago you weren’t really anything here… and now look at you.” Army frowned and looked down at his own body. “Just… maybe avoid each other? That tends to work. But I have to go now… sorry.”
Ahgase ducked under him before he could say anything else, getting washed away by the crowd of students and disappearing.
They were stopped by a hand and dragged out of the swarm of students.
“Baby! How you doing today?” Reveluv said, smiling down at Ahgase. Reveluv has dyed red hair and piercing blue eyes that can make anyone weak. She was extremely intimidating towards a lot of people but seemed to value Aghase.
“Ah… I’m okay. Can you please not call me baby? Ahgase is fine… no need for nicknames.” The smaller person said.
“Hey, does… does Once ever talk about me? Like I know we spend a lot of time together I was just kind of wondering… does he mention me a lot? Because I was talking with Blink and she said Once talks about me a lot…” Reveluv stuttered out, wary of the people around her.
“I… honestly I don’t know. He talks a lot. Twice had a comeback, remember? He’s been a little preoccupied with that, and the drama with Exo-L and Army seems to have sparked his interest. I guess it’s just something to talk about that everyone can sort of… know.” Ahgase checked their watch. “I’m sorry, but I have to go now… bye.” Ahgase swiftly left Reveluv behind to ponder their words.
Ahgase found their homeroom and sat down, sighing deeply, the exhaustion of the past few weeks finally starting to catch up. They rested their head on the table and closed their eyes for at least a little bit of rest. But, of course, it was short lived.
“WE GETTING A CHINA UNIT! KUN WILL FINALLY BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING! MORE LUCAS CONTENT FOR THE BISEXUALS! AYO AhgASE! IS YOUR THAI BOY A CONFIDENT GAY AS WELL?”
Ahgase groaned internally and looked up at the very loud boy in front of him. “Nctzen, can you please be quiet?”
“Oh… yeah man sure. How you doing, you look tired.” Nctzen crouched to look Ahgase in the eye. Nctzen is a hyperactive boy, constantly having something on his mind and in his hand. He’s tall, brown eyes and silver hair. He was always loud, too.
“I am tired, actually. But it’s not important.” Ahgase said, pulling out their phone.
“Well, NCT are getting a china unit which means Kun will finally get what he deserves y’know? He’s so cute ugh I want one.” Nctzen sat on Aghase’s desk when the teacher walked in.
“Nctzen, go sit at your desk.” She said.
“Sorry, Ms. Elf.” Nctzen said before sitting back at his desk.
“Now, I know this place is pretty much a hell hole, but let’s start our day.”
a/n: ugh okay i hate making introduction chapters but i gotta introduce characters before i can get into some good stuff. i’m still taking fandom suggestions so hmu if you want your fandom involved.
thanks for reading.

☁ミ✲
✫*゚・゚。. a guide about my ★ fav kpop groups .*。・゚✫*
ミ✭ BTS
actually my bias group
i don’t post a lot about them lately because I’m angry at the fandom (don’t get me wrong, it’s not that i hate armys is just that some of the new armys - the ones that were born after billboard - need to fucking chill).
and because i’m a multifandom queen who can’t distribute her time equally.
going back to the topic
i’ve become an army in INU era and sincerly i love the style of BTS until that era more than the following - you know, hip hop style, hip hop boys spitting fire, lyrics about things THAT ARE NOT LOVE, yeah, that was my kink
the reason i love them so much is for their personalities - DID I HEARD ANGELS???
and the make me laugh a lot so that’s like 10 points
Bias: Jiminie ~ but i wanna marry Tae so bad #noshame
Fav song: nevermind (i have lyrics tattooed on my arm if that’s not loyalty)
Fact: Yoongi’s my fav rapper of the kpop and no one can’t change my mind; when jimin dyed his hair orange i asked my mom to do mine too (and she let me so can you imagine me with fucking orange hair just because i love him gosh); for my 19 birthday, my brother gave 30 photos of them just so i could stick them in the wall of my new room i’m living by my own because of university.
Quick note: i hope i can bring myself to hype the boys as much as I did
Things i want: Jin to have lines. thank u. bye
ミ✭ MONSTA X
mOnSTeRS oF kpOP
one of the fandoms i like the most because the people is so chill yet we all have that dark emo concept i live for
i’m a monbebe since before the monbebe name was choosen
but i did not watch no mercy AND THANK GOD BECAUSE I’M A SENSITIVE PERSON AND I DON’T WANT TO CRY changkyunprotectionsquad
i saw them debut and i was beautiful
the reason i like them is for the hip hop vibe and because they try so hard yet everyone still sleeps on them
i seriously don’t know a group like them and i legit cried with his first win
incredible humans in earth i’m just in love
Bias: okay so just let me say that i changed biases like three times because they stole my heart Kiki~ i love my mom
Fav song: it was I miss you until Lost in the dream punched me in the face THOSE VOCALS GOD
Fact: there was a time of my life i was the only one of my close friends that liked monsta so i didn’t have anyone to talk about them so i try to introduce them to my brother but he didn’t want because was a anti kpop lil shit, but after 2 years and a Shine forever i got it and now they’re his bias group so everything is cool now; i actually made my mom to like them her bias is minhyuk
Quick note: stan talent, stan monsta x
Things i want: a solo album of hyungwon pls
ミ✭ SEVENTEEN
seventeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen YOP
if you like monsta you like seventeen praise the monteen family
okno
but i coulnd’t not stan such a talented kings
at first i was afraid because they were so soft and pastel and cheerios but they know how to play with my heart
maybe the only soft concept i like #aesthetic kings
actually #vocals kings
and #dance kings
just #kings
again i’m a 🥕 since before they choosed it and i’m so pleased with the name because i did not like any of the others lmao
but came in Mansae era his first comeback so it’s like forever
i did not watch predebut videos and everynight i cried because of that
Bias: i’d said it was hard choosing one but i’ll be lying because he choosed me: my shining star HOSHI.
Fave song: i’m always between trauma and check in im hip hop trash
Fact: is the first group where i’m a noona and i legit screamed when my friend told me dino was a 99 liner. don’t ask me why but i like being a noona and having idols my age (SEUNGKWAN AND HANSOL) i feel more closer??? the raise of 98 liners; i like to comment on minghao’s instagram post even when he never replies :(; i have a thing for jeonghan’s voice - the normal voice, just him talking makes me feel things
Quick note: my dream is to meet josh and have a coup of tea with him
Things i want: CHINA LINE TO HAVE FUCKING LINES
ミ✭ NCT
NCT IN DA HOUSEEEEE
i was waiting for that because they’re my current obsesion
but like is funny
because i’ve been with them since debut - i still remember the day the 7th sense was released and that my bias for the day was mark and everything was easy
but the current 2018 thing and all of them debuting is what bringed me back to the hype
i even watched the smrookies show this is insane
and i can’t explain why i love them so much is just... destiny. since the day my friend discovered me the smrookies thing. and it’s destiny because before them i did not like any sm group. all my friends are sm hoes but not me and then these kids appeared just to remember me that sm always win
i’ve been a fan since forever, like, i was young then and now i’m finishing my second year of university this is crazy
this is gonna be long
i love the nct family
the fandom but nct theirselves, they’re like a big family and thats beautiful, i can spend hours watching videos of them being cute with eachother just so my heart can be a little more warmer
my fave subunit is dream YO DREAM
i said it, i like being a noona and in nct i’m older to 8 people of 18, and the same age as Jungwoo so basically only half of the nct are older and i think that’s beaufitul
but don’t like them only for being my kids but TALENT
they’re younger than me and that talented what the fuck i’m doing with my life i’m just here being a proud mom and nothing else
now
Biases: HAHAHAHAdid u thought i only have one what a joke. so, they’re all so cute i spend a lot of time thinking but at least i know it now: JUNGWOO because damn boy my uwus are all over the place, Renjun (ma kid will save china), Jaemin (i don’t have to give any reason go love jaemin), Kun (ma mom will save china) and Ten (JUST----).
Fave song: oh god, Boss, Without you (bury me in the CHINESE VERSION), GO (i’m so proud of my kids), Whiplash (sorry mom), We young (i’ll stop here because i’m totally saying all the songs they have)
Fact: my first bias was Mark and i totally understand my past self, that girl has good taste in rappers, when nct dream debuted i thought they were 10 years old, i’m still don’t understand why winwin is in two subunits and yet doesn’t have lines, i’ve been waiting for nct china all my life, i don’t want more members because i like the way the nct is now, and i want the dream to not change member because i’m sad enough with mark not coming back again with them imagine when there’s only jisung and the maknaes, i just love the fact that jaemin talks the same way he raps, jeno’s “nope” and “yup” in go reblog if you agree
Quick note: sm let mark lee rest
Things i want: nct to never change and become a weird group with 50 members
#this is part 1#i'll do part 2 other day because this is so long#i still love so much groups what can i do#im stressing#bts#monsta x#seventeen#nct#bts scenario#monsta x scenario#seventeen scenario#nct scenario#i wont tag all of his names#lol#personal#kpop#kpop lyrics#kpop meme#kpop scenario#don't be shy and ask me anything you want

Kim Jonghyun
I know that this is still a very touchy subject at the moment, but I feel like I couldn’t just watch posts of him go by on Tumblr or Instagram and not say anything about it.
Jonghyun’s death is something no one prepared for, it was something that none of us would wish on our worst day. For those who aren’t aware, on the 18th of December 2017, only a mere two days ago, SHINee’s lead singer, Kim Jonghyun, at the age of 27, took his own life in his home in Korean. This news was very sudden, and it was reported that he sent messages to his sister beforehand detailing his depression and how he felt as if he was a failure. This tragic incident has made me realize a number of things.
Number one, the K-pop and K-Drama industry is known for it’s amazing and talented idols. We saw them on our screens and in videos, we can’t help but marvel at their beauty, charisma and utter charm. What none of us are aware of is the hurt, suffering, and pain many of these idols endure in order to provide this perfect image to there fans and followers. They aren't allowed to show what they really think. This is where we, as the fans, have done wrong. We put our idols on a pedestal that seems almost impossible, and yet we pressure them constantly (not every fan of course, but we know there are those who are this extreme). We demand perfection from someone who’s just like us. Someone with insecurities and flaws, with their own worries and nightmares when we sleep at night. And this issue isn’t just limited to the Korean entertainment industry. We need to stop pressure our idols and our role models. We need to stop demanding that their every dance move, performance, appearance, and photoshoot be something sent from the heavens above. That’s selfish and cruel to force these expectations on someone you love. Just love your idols for the adorkable, happy, shining star that they truly are.
Second, STOP STIGMATIZING MENTAL ILLNESS AND HEALTH!!!! Korea is known for pushing mental health and illness aside, naming it illegitimate. But this is a wake-up call. How much further must it go until we realize that just because you can’t see where the pain is, doesn’t mean it’s not there. T.O.P was called a coward by the media, Hansol was concluded as ‘too queer’ and not accepted and yet we have let it gone too far. Too many idols have suffered from depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders. Too many idols have suffered along without help because they couldn’t talk to someone. When did we say this was okay? When did we say that it was fine because it’s our idols and role models and favorites, so it’s not real or it’s not serious? When did it become a cowardice thing to feel scared and anxious? Having a mental illness is not glamorous or emo or wrong or weird and it doesn’t make you less of a person.
Lastly, a call to action. It doesn’t matter if you’re an ARMY, EXO-L, BLINK, Monbebe, Wannable, V.I.P or a part of any other fandom (couldn’t think any off the top of my head). Right now we need to support SHINee and more specifically Jonghyun’s family. If they ask for fans to back off and allow them to mourn, then we need to give them space. We need SHINee and those close to Jonghyun to know that we will support them and give them love, just as Jonghyun gave us and his fans all his love. Let them know that we are there for them if they need anything and we are so sorry for their loss. We need to pay our respects just like our idols paid their respects.
Jonghyun died thinking that he was a failure; that he wasn’t good enough or living up to our expectations of him. Well to that I say he was wrong. The world lost an amazing, talented, wonderful, kind-hearted, bright, shining star and the world is a little dimmer now. We’ll miss you with all our hearts and we wish you were here with us at the moment. Rest in peace, be in no pain. We all love you and we wish you well, Kim Jonghyun.

(via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMI50ycfAKY)CALLING ALL KPOP FANDOMS!! THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER!! So if BTS wind the BBMAs they will be representing all of the Kpop fandoms that means a lot to kpop fans. However if you vote for any other star it is kinda like voting against your own kpop group, which in itself is dumb and insensitive. If you really love your group then you'd want their music to become recognised, voting for BTS can do this. But now voting is coming to a critical stage where Justing Beiber's fans are gaining an upper hand and will gain an upper hand if we don't start backing down. We have to be persistent and not let the voting gap get to out heads. KPOP FANS USE THE CORRECT TAGS!!
EXAMPLE: I voted for @BTS_twt at #BBMAs Chong! Jo Jun! Balsa! I hope we gain success in voting and get to see our boys representing this very awesome fandom -kpop. ARMY! EXO-L! I-Got7! Monbebe! CARAT! PINK PANDA! LO/\ES! ONCE!! ELF! VIP! POP! BLACK JACKS! IKONIC! SHAWOL! BABY! SONE! BEAUTY! CASSIOPEIA! BBC! HELLO CUPID! MeU! ELVIS! 4NIA! INSPIRIT! BOICE! Top Klass! BUDDY! STAR1! STARLIGHT! LEGGO! HONEY10! MELODY! DAI5Y! INNERCIRCLE! AROHA! KISS ME! TINKERBELL! A1ST! MOOMOO! MERACLE! CHESHIRE!

MONSTA X - BEAUTIFUL [6.40] Well, somewhere between Monsta VI and Monsta VII anyway.
Madeleine Lee: The template for a rap-focused K-pop boy band single has been around since at least Big Bang -- rapped verses, sung choruses and middle eight -- but Monsta X's singles have usually tried to resist that route by giving equal weight to their vocalists and their rappers. Instead of becoming their standout quality, this just made their songs feel excessively long and disjointed (like "Rush," which has two prechoruses for no good reason), and the relative talent gap between the rappers and the singers didn't help. "Beautiful" sticks to the script: rapped verses, sung choruses and middle eight, angsty lyrics and thunderous electronic beats. The result is just average, but average is a success compared to noticeably bad. [6]
Nortey Dowuona: The gleeful Auto-Tuned harmonizations glide over the 2012/2014 drums, razor thin synths and soft, pulsing bass and raspy and smooth vocals of Monsta X. Figures -- vroom. [8]
Alfred Soto: I'm not sure the rap and sung verses interact meaningfully even after several plays, not when I'd rather listen to the hook. Some will prefer Jooheon. [6]
Jessica Doyle: Monsta X is a good example of K-pop's shiny tendencies to work against itself: so far, for me, the group has checked off all the boxes -- attractive guys, competent performances -- without displaying enough personality to break through the barrier between mild interest and embarrassing shouting. (To give you personal examples of barrier-breaking media: Infinite laughing over each other's clothes and BTS's very intelligent mess of a dance practice.) At present all I know about Monsta X is that they did a good cover of "Mirotic" and that Wonho has a pout and ain't afraid to use it. Now, I said personal: just because I haven't discovered Monsta X's collective personality doesn't mean the group is personality-free. It takes a certain amount of effort on a potential fan's part to seek out material that would break the barrier, and the more intriguing the music the greater the incentive. So lately I've been less interested in following, say, Victon, none of whose three 2017 releases were as glossy-charming as "I'm Fine," and more in Monsta X after "Beautiful," which does a remarkable job of moving from the speedy raps to the smoother vocals without either making the other seem out of place. So what else is this group capable of? Feel free to shower me with examples, Monbebes. [6]
Ryo Miyauchi: Monsta X call upon an army of brass horns to express a blooming feeling bigger than they can physically contain, like they're harnessing the power of TNGHT for a love song. Powerful as it blurts, it also blasts away some of the nuanced details. The more liquid movements of the beat suggest a tenderness underneath this tough front, though it unfortunately gets quickly decimated by the sheer loudness. [6]
Anjy Ou: Imagine you're the hero of a story. You've fought your way through monsters to get to your final foe, only to find they're lovely and dangerous, and you'd rather turn your sword against their enemies than make them one of yours. Your instinct fights against it, but you're already lost. I love a k-pop song with a good story, and "Beautiful"'s lyrical narrative is reflected in its stellar production -- heavy basslines, varied synths, and mid-verse drops propel you headfirst into a gorgeous chorus with layered vocals and crisp percussion. Monsta X executes this song flawlessly, and show us why they deserve to be in the spotlight. Best boyband song of the year. [9]
Brad Shoup: The strangled synthworms of the intro came on so hard, it took me a couple spins to realize there was a similarly styled drop halfway through. Against those, the chorus gains a dramatic edge. Apart, it's still lovely -- still a wonderstruck gaze -- but now it's wrapped in plastic. Drop the overheating hi-hat and there's probably a weightless ballad to be found. [7]
Alex Clifton: Songs that have the word "beautiful" in the title usually tend to be acoustic, slower, or more chilled out. We get none of that in the first minute of Monsta X's "Beautiful," which is cluttered and borderline abrasive, only to get a chorus that could do with a bit more oomph. The melody of the chorus is quite lovely, but doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of the song. I wish Monsta X had gone bigger, especially as there's nothing subtle about "Hero," their best song, but it's still catchy as it stands. [6]
Joshua Minsoo Kim: Starts off like a sledgehammer to the head, which is great! The only issue is that I'm left dazed in the aftermath, unable to appreciate the beauty of the chorus until it's recontextualized after the bridge. I wouldn't call "Beautiful" haphazardly assembled, but its parts don't come together to form a greater whole. Each section pairs well enough with its lyrics, yes, but the producers could have further capitalized on that with a slightly different arrangement or structuring of dynamics. [6]
Julian de Valliere: Maybe it's the combination of the group's name, that two-years-too-late production, and that jarring use of "errday," but "Beautiful" sounds like it'd be better suited as an energy drink jingle over an actual single. [4]

Analyzes of Boyfriend and Gugudan Fandom Names
I think we all know how protective (ie. overbearing) KPop fans can be about certain things. Calls of copying and plagiarism are heard every week over the stupidest things - “these 5 seconds sound like this other song’s 5 second!” “my oppas had that style first!” “this group’s MV totally copied the color palate from this other group’s MV!” “this singular dance move was copied from my unnies!”
To add to that list of false claims and unnecessary drama, I wanted to really break down why this particular issue is (yet again) bullshit.
Let’s start with Boyfriend. They announced their official fandom name on 110810 via their official fancafe. The fandom name they chose was “Best Friend” (note that the official name is in English, not Korean).
The meaning* was given as:
Always, BEST(베스트) hold the meaning that Boyfriend will always rely on the trusty and reliable. Friend(프렌드) means, Boyfriend’s friend that has been and will always be together [with Boyfriend] and is always there. And to Boyfriend, the best will always be the fans and friends.
* While the translator was working off the official post, they very clearly state that “(translations are rough and may not be 100% accurate)” and “im sorry i couldnt really put good words on the meaning of the fan-club. my english is not that good”.
The styling of the fandom name is the use of ‘best’, which is how they see their fans, and ‘friend’, the last half of their name; these two words are combined to create the term ‘best friend’. The unofficial* (but widely accepted) Korean spelling is simply the English words written in Hangul.
* Yes, UNOFFICIAL, in the same way that 별빛 is the unofficial Korean name used for Vixx’s official fandom name Starlight. It might seem official since it means ‘starlight’ in Korean, but the only official fandom name is in English.
Take Away: Their fandom name is officially ‘Best Friend’ and means, basically, that Boyfriend will always rely on their trusty, reliable fans whom they view as friends (which are the best thing to them).
Now, let’s move on to Gugudan. They announced their official fandom name on 161216 via a VLive broadcast. The name they chose was “단짝 (Dear Friend)” (note they gave both an official name in Korean and English).
The meaning* was given as:
Gugu’dan’ ‘s ‘pair’. ‘dan-zzak’ means a relationship between people who have same will or are very close to each other, so they always hang out together- the fan club is named as ‘dan-zzak’ to symbolize gu9udan and fans to become dan zzak.
* This translation clearly suffers the same issues as the above even though it is not stated, and 짝 is jjak not zzak. Also, the last bits of this translation were not included here as they are “translator notes” and NOT a part of the meaning.
The styling of the fandom name is the use of ‘단’ (dan), the last syllable of their name in Korean (and English), and ‘짝’ (jjak), which means pair/partner/mate/etc; these two parts are combined to create the Korean word 단짝, which can be translated into ‘best friend’, ‘bosom buddy’, ‘close friend’, ‘buddy’, ‘buddy-buddy’, or even just ‘best’. Gugudan chose to use the term ‘Dear Friend’ as their interpretation of 단짝 into English.
Take Away: Their fandom name is official 단짝 in Korean and Dear Friend in English and means, basically, that it is Gugudan’s wish that their fans be Gugudan’s partners whom they share a very close relationship with.
========
There you go; those are the facts of this matter. And, when one actually looks at them in full detail (as one always should), you can see that this drama isn’t any different from the equally stupid ones mentioned at the start of this post. To be clear, I’m not denying they are similar to an extent, but to claim they are literally the same (as some have) and to start all this simply because 단짝 can be translated to mean best friend (among many other things) is petty in the same manner as when Armies were arguing with VIPs over which oppa had what hair color first.
Bottom line is: not only are the Korean and English spellings and pronunciations completely different, but so are the meanings. Had Boyfriend picked an official Korean fandom name that was any one of the several Korean words/terms which can translate to ‘best friend’, things might be different, but they didn’t. And, if we’re honestly going to start banning synonyms/homonyms and things that are “too similar”, then why aren’t Friends, Buddies, ELFs, DSFs, Ujungs, Best Friends, and Dear Friends all in some big fanwar? Why aren’t Everlastings and Eternals? Or, Babys and Baby Angels and Angels? A+ and A1st? Monbebe and MyGirl? 24Us, MeUs, and For Us? Hi Ades and Hi Erus? L.E.D.A and L.E.G.O? Lavely and Lovely?
Why aren’t Unqiues upset that Uniq is using their fandom name as a group name and why aren’t Unicorns mad at Unicorn for doing the same thing? Why aren’t Busterz mad at Bastarz? Why aren’t Queens mad at Queen’z or Mercurys mad at Mercury? Why aren’t Milky Ways mad at Supernova’s Japanese fans? And, why aren’t Love Holic super pissed at V Holic, Holic, Holics, and D.Holic?
Hopefully, people have gotten the point by now that “fan drama” almost universally equals stupid, fake “precious oppa” bullshit. Just spread love for your faves and don’t waste your time with the obsessive "my oppa literally owns every single thing he does ever!!!!” behavior, OK?
(Final note: this is not an “attack” on anyone! It is simply a look at the issue and an overall general annoyance with this kind of bs.)
