With Dead Boy Detectives hitting our screens on the 25th April, and with our girl Death of the Endless making a guest appearance, it seemed only fitting that we should celebrate her in the run up to the show's release.

So I will be running a Death Appreciation Week from Thursday 18th April to Thursday 25th April which will be a celebration of all things Death of the Endless!

Participation is easy. You can go through the prompt list below, and choose to create in whichever way you feel most comfortable. Your remote job allowed you to take your lunchbreak whenever, so the first time it happened, you simply scoured your pantry for something that would qualify as lunch. It stilled your hunger, sure, but it did little to satisfy the craving for whatever mystery food you were smelling.

You had tried everything. You had scoured the takeaway app, ordering from different cuisines only to be disappointed. You had looked up recipes online with what you hoped had similar ingredients, to no avail. God, you had even stood in the spice isle of the grocery store, sniffing different pots and satchels. You were just about ready to give up your search, to accept that your mystery would remain just that; a mystery. That is, until you're on your way home from your latest grocery store expedition and walk past the construction site next to your building. You damn near freeze when you smell it — you check the time on your phone just to check, and, sure enough, it's noon. Nearly on the dot.

Your eyes scan the fenced-in site, a group of construction workers sitting idly by while eating their lunch. You're able to eliminate most of them, the ones eating simple sandwiches and drinking from soda bottles. Your target is quickly located — the man with the aluminium bundle in his hands, happily chomping away while conversing with his coworkers.

"Hey! You! Mister!"

You're all but smushed up against the iron fence, watching as all heads turn to you. You keep your eyes steadfast on the dark-haired man in the middle of them. He points a hesitant finger towards himself, questioning if it's him you're referring to.

"Yes, you! Get over here!"

With wide eyes and a growing blush on his face, Rudy rewraps the aluminium and wipes his hands on his cargo pants before making his way to you. He tries his best to ignore the grin Alejandro gives him, holding back the urge to kick him when he wolf-whistles. The same pretty lady that was now hollering on the other side of the fence. He clears his throat, trying to keep himself from looking too awkward when he reaches you.

"Can I, uh, can I help you, señorita?"

You falter a bit when he comes closer, slightly embarrassed at your outburst and a little taken aback at the realization that this man is really hot.

"Uh, yeah, I'm sorry, just- Look, this is going to sound weird, but I live in this building and I think I've been smelling your lunch and I need to know what it is, because I've been trying to figure it out and it smells so good."

It takes a second for Rudy to respond, of all the things he had expected you to say, this was not one of them. With a slightly perplexed grin, he unwraps the aluminium again to reveal his lunch to you.

"Oh, it's, uh, a burrito. My mami makes them. I'd love to tell you what's in it, but she won't even tell me. Her, uh, secret recipe." He manages out with what he hopes is a charming laugh. He can see the clear disappointment on your face, and he would have offered you some if he hadn't already eaten most of it, and he doubts you'd be very charmed by the butt of a burrito with bites taken out of it.

"Ah, dang, I was hoping it was some takeout I hadn't tried yet. Anyway, again, sorry for bothering you. Tell your mom her burritos smell great!" With that you're off again, leaving Rudy to stare after you with his half-eaten lunch in his hand. When he returns to the group, he actually does kick Alejandro when he wiggles his eyebrows.

You walk past the construction site again the next day. It's not necessarily on purpose that you do so around noon, but catching a whiff of the unattainable burrito again was not something you were against, even if you couldn't actually taste it yourself. You're snapped out of your burrito-induced daydream when you hear a sharp whistle. Your head snaps towards the source of the sound, an offended look on your face at the fact you seriously just got catcalled, only to come face to face with the construction worker from yesterday.

When Rudy sees your eyebrows scrunch in anger, he realizes his way of gaining your attention was maybe not the smartest thing he'd ever done, and he quickly scrambles to apologize.

"Oh, dios mio, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean- I'm sorry. Here, I-"

He hands you a bundle wrapped in aluminium foil through the gaps of the fence, hoping to God you wouldn't notice how hot his face was getting. Your eyes widen with recognition as you accept the gift.

"Oh my gosh, is this-?"

"I told my mami you complimented her cooking, and she, uh, she insisted she make you one, too. So, here." He cuts you off, his hand rubbing at the back of his neck, occasionally bumping against the edge of his hard hat.

"Thank you so much! Ugh, let her know I'm going to enjoy every bite of this!" It's almost a groan of pleasure, one that leaves Rudy more flustered than he'd like.

"Ye-yeah, will do-" You're off before he can manage to string his words together enough to ask for your number, leaving him to watch after you once again.

The moment you step through your front door, you unwrap the aluminium foil, groaning to yourself again as the heavenly scent fills your nostrils. Dropping your bag down, you sit at your table to really, thoroughly enjoy this experience, when you notice a white napkin poking from the wrapping. My first fic: My first-ever one was actually an RVD fic called Shattered Rose that I never finished, when white women were my OCs. I know wayyyy better now😬

My longest fic: My first baby, Into The Deep End. March 6, 2024 will make it ten years since I first published it on another platform. I worked so hard on it as a stress reliever when I was studying for my Masters, and to know that it still gets so much love on all the sites I've posted it on truly warms my heart. Targets is my second-longest, I really enjoyed that one too.

My shortest fic: Definitely Wait For You. Marian tagged me in a "Seven Sentence" challenge and this was the result. I'm terrible with <1000 word fics and it was truly a challenge, lol.

My most popular fic: So, there's three answers. Overall, Into The Deep End for sure. But for my one-shots, I still get messages and quotes about Power Couple (Roman/OC) and On Sight (Jey Uso/OC) to this day.

My personal fave fic: Lol this answer changes all the time. They're all my babies, I really can't choose. Each time I re-read one, I fall in love with it.

4. Pairing that makes no sense to you?

HMMM god, honestly I'd say the majority of my notps I can actually see why people ship it but it doesn't tickle my fancy, you know? But I'd probably have to go with hm. I think Vossler/Gabranth - someone really recced this long fic of them to me and I'm just like. Well FOR ONE Basch is right there, FOR BOTH THEM?? And for another, Ashe is right there!!! That one makes absolutely zero sense to me, I just don't get it! Then again, I have absolutely no room to talk considering how much I'm into Ghis/Bergan, two guys who just absolutely would loathe each other lmao. Stones, glass houses etc.

5. Favorite platonic pairing?

God, I think I'm too much of a shipper to really be into platonic pairings, idk idk. Let me think. 🤔🤔 OH WAIT NO I KNOW. Emmrich and Harding!! Their friendship means everything to me, they're just so fucking cute!! Going camping together..... Harding altering her famous sandwich to make it vegetarian for him..... 😭😭 Too damn cute!!

8. Fandom you're a part of that's the most obscure?

Well, quite a few of my fandoms qualify for Yuletide which is for rare fandoms! But most likely C.S Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy! I'm only tangentially part of it (there's a very small discord), but I'm fairly sure I'm getting that for my Yuletide gift and I'm SO EXCITED!! It's a trilogy of fantasy books from the 90s about a priest and an emotional vampire who invented the priest's religion going on a journey for world saving reasons, and it's fucking fantastic. And very gay, despite what Friedman says lol. Fellas, is it gay to have a parasitic mindlink with a guy u hate so he can feed off the terror he sends u in ur dreams? Is it gay to wade into actual, literal hell for the guy? Is it gay to constantly think about how beautiful he is? Surely not!!! Anyway READ COLDFIRE TRILOGY IT'S FUCKING AWESOME

21. Favorite fic trope?

THIS ONE IS SO HARD FKFKFKF I loooove missionfic, especially for star trek stuff, but I think my fave more traditional tropes are like. There was only one bed, fake marriage, hurt/comfort and good old fashioned whump, UST and pining is a big one, and fix it is my ultimate fave I think - ESPECIALLY when one half of the ship doesn't die and then has to live with the consequences of their actions!! That's like fucking catnip for me >:3

IF YOU WANNA DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS OR THINGS TO CONSIDER WITH MAKING COMICS?

OK it's been long enough. It's time to answer this. It's looooong so here's a cut:

The absolute first thing I do when I'm making a comic is doodle the stupidest worst thumbnails with a fat sharpie on a sticky note. I try to keep in mind the dialogue and where that goes (about 1-2 sentences per balloon, and I try to keep the balloons to a minimum. this is a personal preference to keep things readable online. you'll see profesh comics with more dialogue all the time.)

Something to keep in mind while doodling these is the line of action that the boxes will flow through! You'll want to read (unless its a manga) from left to right, top to bottom. That means you'll want the boxes to draw the eye that way. Here's an example of what I mean that I pulled from google.

You'll also want to keep in mind where your characters are in the boxes as well! Comics follow the same principle as movies/film when it comes to crossing the 180. (aka, you'll want to keep your characters on the same side of the "screen" for every "shot") Here's a great tutorial from someone way more qualified than me!

And here's an example from Adventure Time:

In fact a LOT of comic knowledge is improved by knowledge of storyboarding and shot composition! They're really similar in a lot of ways, but comics have the freedom to switch up the size of the "shot" which is a lot of fun. I spend a ton of time looking at animation frames, movie shots, and other professional comics to see how they frame their characters and move between scenes/shots.

Here's some tips for Head Framing (something I do a lot of because i cant be assed to draw full bodies lol)

and I've DEFINITELY used this for thinking about different panels!

Lastly: READ COMICS AND SAVE YOUR FAVORITE COMIC ART! I have sooooo many references/allusions to my favorite comic art and artists in my art (if any batman fans read my comics, see if you can spot some homages to my fave ever batman panels!) Nothing replaces seeing and saving what the industry professionals are doing.

The Obscure Tolkien Blorbos Tournament!

@mistergandalf's incredible Ultimate Tolkien Blorbo tournament has just wrapped up with our beloved Sam Gamgee taking the final trophy. But! Earlier rounds in the tournament were filled with a lot of weeping and gnashing of teeth from Silmarillion fans as our favourites were UNFAIRLY ELIMINATED by people who DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THEM. So, I would like to present: the ultimate obscure Tolkien blorbos tournament!

Submit as many of your dubiously canonical, little-known faves as you'd like to - with a catch: characters with the fewest submissions are most likely to qualify for the bracket! With exactly one exception who is qualifying anyway because I say so.

Rules:

The character you submit can be part of Tolkien's legendarium in any way possible - discarded characters from earlier drafts, adaptation-only characters (RoP inclusive), etc.

No OCs.

Canonically unnamed characters (for example Curufin's wife) are eligible. But don't submit fan-invented names for them, or I won't know whom you're talking about!

If they're very obscure, do consider writing a couple of lines to tell me who they are! I'm not a HoME expert and won't be familiar with everyone you send in.

I reserve the right not to include characters who I don't think really count: you can't, for example, submit "Maidros" and then argue that that's a completely different character to the more well-known Maedhros.

Actual voting will just be a straightforward "vote for whomever you like more" process, nothing to do with how obscure the blorbos are at that stage.

Let's... tentatively say the bracket will contain 64 characters? I'll keep the form open at least until Sunday 21st May and potentially longer, depending on how much interest this gets.

Hey anon!!! Thanks for the ask!! Favorite fics...I've written. You've given me too much freedom by asking my why I like them I am so sorry for the wall of text about to hit.

To Veer The Tides

It's a fic for Kuroko no Basuke which is basically just me slapping the character names onto a WILDLY different fantasy setting. It's for Akashi x Furihata. An arranged marriage AU where Akashi is the son of an emperor who went too power hungry and wanted to consolidate 7 mostly independent states(provinces??) into one, but he was defeated by the remaining states and to control Akashi, he is arranged to marry far below his station to Furihata, son of a destroyed noble house which is under the rule of Kagami's state. So it's about Akashi climbing back to power with Furihata initially thinking Akashi is pure evil but he soon realizes that maybe Akashi and his family aren't as evil as the people believe.

I ended up doing so much research, world-building and character expansion. It's more political intrigue than romance, lol. I still love that fic to death, I think I honestly peaked there for world-building, at least. I wrote it immediately after reading and watching Mo Dao Zu Shi and being first introduced to the concept of cultivation as a magic system and really wanted to put all my faves in flowy robes and long hair.

I want to get back to it, but I've discontinued it because I am simply not qualified to right about Dissociative Identity Disorder, systems and alters. Akashi has a terribly stereotypical portrayal of it in canon and I thought maybe I could research enough to write that, but I just, I don't know any systems and I felt like if I can't respect it, I didn't want to do it.

But it's still my favorite in terms of the world and aesthetics I had going on for it.

2. Tell Me Your Story (I'll Tell You Mine)

My current baby. The one I incessantly post about and draw for. Single-handedly over saturating the kyoshi warrior sokka x blue spirit zuko market. It's set in the canon world but I had to do so much research for this one too. I learned a lot, I think, while writing this. Big lesson being never ever write in present tense but if you're 200K+ words into it there is simply no going back RIP.

It started as just a silly romance because I thought it'd be funny to have Sokka and Zuko be completely oblivious to who they like. But as I began plotting and writing, it transformed into me projecting all my issues with colonialism and using the ATLA setting as base to dip a little bit deeper into the themes the show itself brings up, and some issues that it doesn't. Like, how colonialism uses your own culture against you, how it makes you fear who you are, makes you do things you don't want.

I deliberately chose that title because lots of indigenous communities in the world have lost their stories because of colonialism. Oral traditions and tales that are forgotten because people were killed and forced to never repeat them, forced to forget their languages. And that, really got to me. How colonialism slowly strips you of what makes human beings what they are; stories, art, music, dance, etc.

So this fic ended up being about how colonialism steals from you, uses what is yours AGAINST you and how it is important to embrace who you are and fight back.

3. Tell The Neighbours I'm Not Sorry

It's for Jon and Jay from DC Comics and Superfam. I wrote it when I was seeing a lot of biphobia against Jon and racism against Jay. As a bi asian, even if it was towards fictional characters, it was getting to me. People kept talking about how there's a specific way to be bi. Why did Jon never have a crisis about being queer? Why did Jon and Jay move so fast? Is Jay manipulating Jon just to get what he wants? It was all filled with a lot of stereotypes and biases.

Superman comics especially often taken up real world issues and puts it into the story. So I took all my anger and frustration from the biphobia and racism and wrote it into a fic.

It's about how there's no one way to being queer, and about how immigrants and non-white people are immediately classified as some kind of 'other' and 'bad' with zero grounding. It's also a little bit about colonialism on Jay's end. It's so charged with me going "FUCK IT!" and still somehow came out okay as a fic and I think I like that I managed to turn my anger into something productive.

4. An Itajun fic I have not published and am still writing

It's my first JJK fic! It's an absolute mess in my drafts right now but I really like it, it's very fun for me. Junpei starts seeing and sensing curses far earlier because of built resentment from his bullies going too far and severely injuring him, his mom finds out and they move to Yuuji's area of Tokyo to get away from the school since they won't do anything about the bullying. Yuuji and Junpei run into each other and meet early at school. So the dynamics are kinda reversed, where Junpei is the one who is into the world of curses first while Yuuji has no clue, but they slowly interact and come together, forming a tight bond.

Junpei trusts no one and is dealing with all this curse nonsense trying to understand what it means. Yuuji is seemingly happy and chipper but he's going through tough times because his grandpa got hospitalized. It's both of them supporting each other and making sure the other isn't alone.

Favorite Parts

Spicy: I think Chapter 2 leading into Chapter 3 in 'You're Mine' when they first begin to hook up... Is the one that outwardly sticks out to me because I was just so excited for it all to kick off.

You pulled one of his hands from you guiding it with your own up your body. From your ass, around your hip, up your stomach, racking your ribs, under and over top of the side of your boob, over your collarbone. Your hands moving painfully slow for Trent. He just wanted to ravage you. He wanted to protect you, love you but destroy you at the same time. He needed to know what you were like in bed. Now.

Chapter 29 in 'You're Mine' - Just anytime they would tease the other was 😮‍💨 Them laying in the cinema.

“Wouldn’t it be nice if I could just keep your cock warm inside me right now?” You whispered out of the blue into Trent’s ear. His eyes widened. His breath hitched. Your teeth nibbling and pulling on his earlobe. “Oh my goddd” he groaned but equally as quiet back to you feeling his cock start to harden. It resulted in him making another mistake in the video game.

Like any of the flirty bits like Chapter 29 in 'Ours' them laying in the cinema again. That room in general was spicy lol

“Is it? Because I think it turns you on.” You giggled with a cheeky smile giving him a bit of a tease. “I think it turns you on!” He yelped defending himself, turning your accusation back on you with an equally if not more cheeky smile. “Depends on the context, you just turn me on.” You repeated his initial commentary. He hummed in agreement, pecking your lips.

Non spicy: I think a lot of the more wholesome bits. maybe just the babies tbh

Chapter 15 in 'Ours' When teddy says 'dada' and they're playing footie.

“Good girl, Ted.” You encouraged her as you took your seat down onto the turf. You assumed after that reaction you’d be here for a while. You watched on with a smile. Teddy would turn around every so often to make sure you were still watching them after she heard your first compliment. If you happened to be on your phone the second she did, she would let you know. ‘Mama!’ yelled immediately grabbing your attention. They must’ve done that on repeat for an hour. Neither one was tired of it. Trent was stood on his knees next to her but leaned over and whispered in her ear. You watched him stand up and turn towards you. “Should we go get mummy?” He asked Teddy and started to jog towards you Teddy eagerly trying to keep up with him. You smiled and got up from the turf. You ran towards Teddy and scooped her up off the grass. She squealed.

Part 1 of 'The Epilogue' had to be Theo liking sheep for me. It was so beyond random but such a nice look at their family.

“Dada, know sheep are softs.” Theo tried to qualify what merited the new obsession. “Erm… yeah I guess, mate. Any other info for me or just that they’re soft.” Trent tried to stifle his laugh. He wasn’t expecting Theo to dole out any real reasoning but ‘soft’ wasn’t really high on his list either. He was also trying to work out if Theo had even seen a sheep in person. “Cool toos.” Theo tacked on. “Okay, soft and cool, that's valid enough. C’mere my little sheep.” Trent cooed, squeezing Theo a little tighter as he wriggled in his dad’s arms, still going on about the animal with unabated enthusiasm

Racing in the house - Chapter 26

“Erm…” Teddy hummed thinking for a moment what to do. She wanted to win too but his arm clearly stretched past hers and you all could see that. “Tie dada, tay? We tie, tay?” She smiled at him before scootching herself up a little more on the carpet on her belly with a wiggle for their fingers to come be relatively aligned. Your heart warmed.

Afraid of thunderstorms - Chapter 23

“Ted...” he tried not to laugh. “Look, baby.” He pointed to the splashing puddles on the patio stone outside the glass door “It’s just wawa. You’re okay.” He cooed. They sat there for a while embraced. Teddy squeezing him a little tighter every time she heard the thunder but bravely watched the puddles regardless. 

The chapter I am happiest with probably has to be Chapter 1 of ‘You’re Mine.’ I don't think it is the best as far as composition but it just set the tone for obviously a massive piece of work. I thought it was enticing, exciting, realistically farfetched. The whole thing made me smile.

Most enjoyable to write: These are probably two very contrasting chapters but they were by far my favorites to write

Chapter 12 in 'Ours' was probably one of my favorite chapters start to finish.

Chapter 19 in 'Ours' was... and I know this is backwards but I love the turmoil.

How I feel about this character

He's my baby :') Lol. One of my primordial blorbos, I just think he's a really good friend, he's funny, and he's flawed in a way I find very appealing. I like that he's a bit of a blank canvas but with enough nuance to his writing and acting that he still feels deep.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

"Romantic" is an interesting qualifier because it's very easy to ship him sexually with characters (my joke is Hawkeye is the fandom bicycle but Trapper is the fandom rider) but I kind of see him as fairly reserved and not super romantic. I think genuinely only Hawkeye 😅

My non-romantic OTP for this character

🤔 same as above but in the opposite direction... Trapper's dynamics with other characters are fun to play around with, so it's hard to pick just one. One that I haven't explored too much yet but am noodling on and need to bounce some ideas around is his relationship with Oliver. Like maybe it's kind of cliche, and we only see a little of them in canon, but they have a distinct nonchalant vibe that's very fun and I think Oliver is an interesting and underused character as is, so exploring him via my fave is appealing. I headcanon as Oliver being a little older than either Trapper and Hawkeye, married with a young son, and pretty well settled in his career, so while Hawkeye is crazy and wild and kind of a throwback to his college days, Oliver could be a somewhat more mature and grounded bro.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I don't think he and Louise have a happy or healthy relationship. That feels like a strange opinion to be unpopular, but it's something that's important to the way I think about him so I notice how often the opposite comes up.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

The classic Trapper fan answer is I wish he hadn't left 🥲 But if I had to pick one specific thing, I find the one off mention of him providing vaccinations and primary care to Korean civilians/kids to be a really interesting concept with potential for different stories, so I wish they had followed up on that idea. It would've been a fun way to both include more potentially recurring Korean characters and given Trapper a lil more to do

Hihi I don’t know where to find more about this (and frankly want your opinion more lol) so what are the genes like in Rohan? Is it possible there’d be darker browns and almost Numenorean blacks? And red-heads? I mean, could you specify with like percentages lolol and I would sooo love if you include like regional differences omggg

Well, race in Middle Earth is a topic that a lot of ink has already been spilled on, and by people who are much smarter and better qualified to opine than I am. So, up top, I encourage people to seek out those smarter voices.* But I guess I’ll say that my general take is that it is simultaneously true that a) Tolkien trafficked in some harmful race-based tropes and imagery and he used ideas about genetics (the high/middle/low man hierarchy he created) that are gross; but ALSO b) despite what some loud and hateful chuds would have you believe, there’s no real canonical evidence to support the claim that the people in the various communities of Middle Earth were all of one particular race or another. So there could and should be a whole variety of appearances and traits.

As to my personal opinion of Rohan…there are people of all kinds in the world, and so I imagine Rohan to similarly have people of all kinds. I know that’s not as specific an answer as your question posed, but I try to leave my writing open enough (like, I usually go very sparse on character physical descriptions) that a reader can picture people in a bunch of different ways, and if some people see Wídfara (for example) as Black and others as Asian or indigenous American or white or etc., I think that’s all valid and good. The more Wídfaras in the world, the better, as far as I’m concerned.

One of the things I like best about fandom is that we aren’t stuck with any one particular conception of anything. Lots of people have their own ideas about Rohan, and those different Rohans can exist side-by-side in the fanfic and fan art spaces so that we have a wealth of alternatives to like and admire. Some of my fave Rohan fan art has been pieces that imagine the Rohirrim as being of Mongolian heritage or that mix Rohirrim culture from the books with traditional Japanese elements, and I love that those exist alongside the art that hews closer to the Anglo-Saxon/Norse aesthetic that tends to show up most often in visual representations. (I would love to link to some of this art, but the Tumblr search function is not my friend and isn’t allowing me to easily pull it up now. One that I can put my hands on, though, is the work of Leia Ham, which is amazing and imagines Rohan (and other parts of Middle Earth) in an ancient Chinese context.)

So I guess what I’m saying is that I think anything is possible, and that’s a good thing.

*Mallorn, the journal of the Tolkien Society, has actually done a good job of giving space to those voices in the last few years, a positive development I attribute to the good influence of its editor Luke Shelton, who is to all appearances a Good Dude.

What are your fave ships for Batfam/Jason?

Oh gosh.

I actually don't have any ship I'm like. Married to!! Which is wild because I have been writing for a (used to be) rarepair in jjk for like three years before coming back around to the old haunt of DC. I don't (currently lol) seek out ship fics, and never really did even like seven years ago when I was fresh into watching YJ. The big draw for the Batfam to me is their fucked up familial relationships. Could not say anything about my home life, obviously

Jason isn't a character I tend to think about when I want to read ships, but I think he's an honored disaster bisexual who can't tell if he wants to date all the lebsian-coded women in his life or be them. I will wholeheartedly admit I honestly don't know nearly enough about any of his suitors aside from what canonical interactions people have had with him in things like RHATO, which I know is not always the most accurate, well-written storyline for non-Jason characters (and, hell, sometimes even the man, the myth, the legend himself).

One of the things I want to work on in 2025 is just!! Reading other comics!! Familiarizing myself with things outside of current issues of Batman-centric stories!! Reading Young Justice from the 90s and Titans from the 70s/80s! I don't feel like I can ship much just bc... I need to know about both participants more before they start jumping each other's bones or helping each other do taxes dfdbGND

I do think on a surface "if I see it and find it endearing I'll reblog it" level, I can qualify superbat, clois, batcat, dickkory, dickroy, jaykyle, and timkon have all met those standards so far. I am neither closed off to anythig else nor is that a concrete list; if friends write or send me fic recs I'll read them, sure! I'll read pretty much anything at least once. I think the only exception is the brothers -- I don't care abt batcest on a moral high-horse level or whatever but it's not my tea lol

ooooo bestie.... well, first off, he's a major whiner and i hate whiny drivers (feels like ive written that sentence like 20 times the last 48 hours lmao). he loves to complain on the radio to his team when things don't go his way (as if its their fault and not his own 😶)... i get that you're frustrated but you don't have to press the radio button when you're screaming, yk?

like, listen to his radio from after the race in monaco. sure, getting a win would've gotten you the lead in the championship, but can't you just understand that it was a lucky call from zak (the winner that day) that works like once in 15 races? it wasn't your fault, it wasn't the team's fault, it was just a coincidence? and the fact that he didn't just whine, he was SCREAMING. like, screaming his lungs out. really embarrassing.

and then, listen to his radio after the qualifying in barcelona. buddy was screaming like a toddler yet again. very awkward.

then, in the feature race in austria, he started by whining on the radio about his battle with paul (he ended up not being able to pass paul, which pissed him off TONS). but then came the worst part... he was behind pepe (our fave little boy on this blog <33) towards the end and whined to the team about how "he's defending against me much harder than he did to other drivers!!" and on and on. and when he finally got to pass pepe, he first of kept on complaining about pepe, and then said "give me 2-3 laps to get the lead". did he take the lead? no, and then he refused to give pepe the position back many laps later. idk i kinda don't wanna get into it more than that, but my dear friend @lilioopdf has a post about it hereeeeee (that i haven't read yet lol but i trust her) with the radio messages hereeeee !!!!

he also takes 0 responsibility for his actions, which annoys me a lot. in melbourne, he crashed out pepe (again, his teammate...) and did not understand why he got a penalty for it and lost his win. and idk, he just keeps on disrespecting and dishonoring his team who works so hard for him.... like him writing "limited power from the race start to the end. it is getting really frustrating, mechanics does not make it easy for us this season." on his instagram 😶 shush
