Eddie sighed, hiding his face in his own. “Yeah, I’m just… jumpy.” He sighed again. Buck frowned, reincorporating a little bit. “I keep thinking what could’ve happened to you out there.”

“Eddie, I’m fine,” he mumbled patiently. “I’m not defenseless, I know how to use our weapons.”

From across the room, Eddie scoffed, then cleared his throat. “It’s not about you being damn good with that machete, which I know you are,” he said, watching Buck nod in agreement. “It’s about the fact that you- it’s like you think this Camp could go on without you.”

Silence.

“…That I could go on without you.”

♡ . . . REASONINGS : reading over your entire few asks you sent in, i've determined that, in my personal opinion, you are best matched with ushijima wakatoshi!

as far as appearances go, i think you both would be really cute together! he might be a bit confused as to why you seem to switch from different styles of clothing, but if you ever ask for his opinion you know you'll be met with some sincere, most likely sweetly-blunt compliment / comment. i also think he'd really like the soft floral styled clothing you wear. also, if you ever managed to include any of his own clothing within your outfits, he might not understand it at first, but he grows to really like how his big clothes that are so used to fitting his muscular form look on you!

i think your chaos pairs well with his down-to-earth, literal stance? ushijima does not seem to have a sense of social ques, and is self-confident about his abilities and his strengths. he strikes me as someone who recognizes his strengths and weaknesses, but also recognizes other people's strengths and flaws. he's quite literal and down-to-earth in my head, so i think your bubbly, slightly affectionate personality balances him nicely! it's beneficial -- he learns to loosen up a bit, can learn from you to be himself and not have this guard up 24/7, and can learn to appreciate and be amused more often, laugh and lighten up more! <3

i don't know how much banter you will get out of him, if any at all, but dates? on the dates that you do go on, they're well thought out, and personal. ushijima truly is an amazing partner because he listens and remembers nearly everything you tell him, anything that is marked as important or useful and cute information in his head! honestly, i do not think ushijima would have any problem with how affectionate you seem! you play with his fingers? he'll simply lace your hands together and continue listening to whatever you have to say. you whisper about wanting cuddles? he won't even say anything, he will most likely just grab your hand softly within his own and head off, no matter if you were literally in the middle of a conversation with other people.

♡ . . . hikes with ushijima, specifically during autumn! or just morning / evening runs or jogs in general! both of you just spending some quiet time together, admiring the pretty leaves; taking a picture of you and 'toshi under the sunlight peeking through the colored leaves!

♡ . . . he finds your curled up in one of his blankets, and eventually it just becomes known as "your blanket" because of how much you use it and wrap yourself up in its fabric.

♡ . . . ushijima will do simple yet cute little things for you, like throw a hoodie, towel, or a blanket in the dryer real quick so it's nice and warm for you. just because he finds it adorable how you hum happily and melt into the fabric / cloth.

♡ . . . if you want to go out and explore the town / city at night, he'll most certainly do so with you! i don't really know what kind of dates he'd prefer, but he's up for anything if it would make you happy -- especially since he can remember what you say are your favorite hotspots for food or hang-out areas and possibly plan a small day around that.

first up, we got Rocky!

who’s the neighborhood dog walker

(and sitter)

but he’s only available during the summer now

hence the reason why he joined the Summer Boys

he needed to make some extra money over the summer when he comes home from college

during the school year, he teaches dance lessons

but it’s only during the school year

so every summer when he comes home

he cares for the neighborhood dogs

he used to do it during high school too

so he knows what the job is like and whose dogs he can walk

when he was first doing it, he thought it was fairly easy

and it kind of was

he would just take the dogs on a neighborhood stroll

or they would go to a park

yeah, he has to pick up poop, but like

he’s with a bunch of dogs and has little contact with working with people

so who is he to complain

but it did get a bit harder...

more people were calling for him and he would end up with a large group of dogs

the max he takes a time is like… ten?

so it depends if they’re all small dogs, big dogs, etc.

the big dogs are harder to maintain

thank god for those dancer muscles tho

the big dogs literally drag him

when he first started dog walking…

he had like three big dogs to start with

that was A Disaster

(Sanha and Chani have video AND photo evidence)

sometimes they come with him just to get some more disastrous blackmail

I mean photos for the Summer Boys website :)

anyways

the dog owners love him

he’s super responsible

(he answers his phone quickly)

and he’s reliable

and the dogs love him

then again, who wouldn’t like Rocky?

anyways

he also does dog sitting

he kind of likes it but he does prefer the dog walking

anyways

if it’s a dog sitting job, he needs like a 24 hour notice thing

but it all depends on how long the sitting job is

(one time this woman asked him to dog sit for an hour while she went to her doctor’s appointment, he literally just chilled in this lady’s house for an hour because the dog took a nap)

overall it’s a fun job and it’s pretty chill

he doesn’t charge much either

unless he has to buy supplies for the dog

but he doesn’t mind

and most of the time, he’s reimbursed through tips

so he mainly communicates through phone

those who call him are people he’s known for a while

or they’re people who know about him from other people

once the flyers came out tho

he’s been easier to contact

with the website up too, the photos are… very….. convincing

he’s been getting more business after officially joining the Summer Boys

and that means… more dogs!

how does this involve you?

this involves you when you crash land into a pillow of approx. 15 dogs

Rocky was taking the dogs out for their daily walk

he had about fifteen, maybe even sixteen dogs

the problem was

there were… at least eight big dogs…..

Bernese mountain dog

a Black Russian Terrier

St. Bernard

shepherd dog

it’s…. Chaotic

he’s got a good hold on them.. at least he thinks so

anyways

on the other side of the park

you and your friends were there

the park is huge

like there’s a lake where people can paddle boat huge

so there’s a lot of space

there’s a playground for toddlers

and another for the elementary schoolers

picnic areas

barbeque areas

there’s tracks for walking

tracks for runners

and tracks for bike riders

which is why you and you were friends were there

so, despite being an adult

you don’t know how to ride a bike

so your friends dragged you here for you to learn

“it’ll be fun!!!! and it’s never too late to learn!!”

it has been kind of fun

(other than the fear of falling off the said bike)

and just when you thought you had a good grip on this whole riding a bike thing

an incident occurs

you know that thing parents do?

the whole “don’t let go” “I’m not gonna let you go”

this was all because of that “I’m not letting you go” shit

so you were riding on your bike

(with a helmet ofc)

your friends were pushing you

and you were going a good distance

but then they let go…. as you were going downhill…

you haven’t mastered the brakes or whatever they’re called on a bike

and just as you maintained the speed and stabilized yourself

you looked up and next thing you know, you saw a bunch of fluff

i.e. Rocky

you were screaming

he was screaming

all the dogs were coming all at once

so you tried to stop it because you didn’t wanna run into the dogs

and you ended swerving on the side

and Rocky panicked and tried to catch you

but then….

he… kind of sort of let go? of the leash……….

that was holding all of the dogs…..

so, you landed on the grass in Rocky’s arms

surrounded by a lot of fluffy dogs

Rocky: “are you okay?”

You: “tbh, this is kind of how I imagined my death”

Rocky: “falling off a bike?”

You: “no, surrounded by dogs”

Rocky: “I guess that’s one way of going”

Rocky: “are you okay now?”

You: “yeah, I think so now”

you both sat up and, luckily, the dogs all stayed near you two

primarily because they were all stuck with the same leash

You: “thank you for trying to catch me”

Rocky: “no problem, I hope your bike isn’t scratched”

You: “oh, it’s not my bike—my friends were trying to teach me how to ride it”

Rocky: “oh, did you not have like knee or elbow pads? I got a friend who has some that you could borrow”

You: “yeah, that would have been smart”

before you two could say anything else

your friends are running over

“sorry!! sorry!! we would have been here sooner but we didn’t realize how far you were”

“yeah and combine that with the fact that we realized that we should have been running”

they help you up and that’s when they spot Rocky

“(Y/N), who is this???”

You: “I actually don’t know”

Rocky: “my name’s Minhyuk, but my friends call me Rocky”

You: interesting

You: “thanks again for the help, uh, Minhyuk”

Rocky: “oh, are you sure you don’t want the pads?”

You: “actually, yeah, you know that’s probably smart”

so you trade numbers

and you part ways

you forget about him for a bit

but then you and your friends are about to head to the park for another bike lesson

“we need to be consistent for you to learn”

“also you can finally text the cute boy with the dogs”

“but mainly for you to learn how to ride a bike”

You: ……. sure it is

so, you do text him….

and you two arrange to meet at the park first

you decided to wait at a nearby bench and about a couple of minutes

he comes

with another pack of dogs

this time there’s a little less of the big dogs and more of the fluffy baby ones

but they’re all cute nevertheless

he gives you the knee pads amidst the chaos the dogs are causing

you’ve never wished for more hands in your life

anyways

he spends a bit of time with you, while you’re waiting for your friends

and you spend a bit of time talking, getting to know each other

You: “I would love to walk these cuties all day”

Rocky: “well, you could always just come along with me next time”

You: “can I really”

your friends eventually come and he greets them, but eventually leaves to actually walk the dogs

your friends did not let that go the whole day

“oooooo cute boy came~”

“shuT iT fuckin—”

anyways

you two arrange a time for you to walk the dogs with him

it was super fun

like a bunch of dogs?? AND a cute boy???

who wouldn’t have fun

you wanted to try to walk the big dogs and he just…. let you

Sanha was right: this is super funny to watch

don’t worry, he gets you ice cream as an apology

and then it becomes a weekly thing

you come along when you have time

(and it IS summer come on lbr here)

now you’re just two friends

walking some dogs together

and then you have to return the dogs... 

naturally, you go with him 

bc he has like 10+ dogs and you weren’t about to make him go alone

you’re both kind of chill and still talking and getting to know one another 

it’s chill 

but then, something that happened 

you and Rocky had about five dogs with you 

and you were returning a lil pomeranian to this old couple 

the grandma who answers the door, she gets her dog and then... 

“so, you and Minhyuk are dating?”

You and Rocky: uhhhh

the grandpa (you assume her husband) comes out, poking is head through the door...

“this might just be a development in process, honey—don’t push them”

You: oh my god 

they thank you both and you both move on to the next house... rather slowly

Rocky: “I’m so sorry”

You: “I’ve dealt with weirder situations”

You: “besides it’s not like I would have minded” 

Rocky: “I wouldn’t have minded either.....” 

so you both finish returning the dogs

overall, it was fun 

anyways... 

you and Rocky may or not have figured things out by the time you were done 

and may have made some plans for dinner..... 

congrats for upgrading from dog walks

you get more dates!!!

anyways

you still go on the walks with him in the park

whether it’s with or without the dogs

(the owners started being more familiar with you too)

(at this point you should be getting paid)

it’s fine tho bc you get to spend some time with your cutie

and like 20 other lil cuties

it’s not just the dog walking thing

he’s even joined your friends to help you learn to ride a bike

y’all even have picnics 

it’s cute 

like he’ll make it and pack it in these fancy ass containers 

you try to make sure you aren’t in an are with seagulls tho 

one time he had those shrimp chips out 

..... yeah it was not a fun time

some dates are in a studio where he dances

he still practices over the summer and you just watch from the side, cheering for him

it’s super cute

everyone at the dance studio knows you now too

sometimes when it’s just you two, he gives you a dance lesson

most times he would just put on music and you two would dance

even if you were bad at it

you two have named them as Summer Night Dance Parties

but there are some nights when he would just hold you into his arms and you two would sway to some relaxing music

sure, some of your dates might not be super romantic but he’s trying

oh, speaking of which

karaoke dates are def a thing

he may not be a singer

but it doesn’t mean he’s bad

(he’s def better than you)

sometimes you go with the other Summer Boys

who you met on many different occasions

the first official time tho………..

they did a whole dinner thing

(to celebrate???)

the energy…. it was chaotic

there was so much happening all at once

you were surprised they didn’t get kicked out

especially with the Chenle and Jisung duo

it was fun tho, especially conversing with Sanha and Chani

you have so much of their blackmail content on Rocky

and you haven’t seen him as talkative that night more than ever

he was so much louder too

again, the energy……… was chaotic

(sometimes they come to those picnics and it somehow manages to be even more chaotic than usual) 

you’ve grown close with them

it’s cute

you even help manage their instagram page

(which is just you taking 10000x photos of Rocky)

“Ice Skating,” Ian said. I knew ice skating wasn’t something you did with just a friend, particularly if one person had a girlfriend. There was potential for a fall, potential for hands to brush, even potential for a shared hot chocolate.

“I’d love to, Ian. That sounds lovely.” My mind was already racing with what to wear, should I put effort into this, was it a date?

“Great! See ye tonight around seven?”

“Aye, seven is perfect, see ye then Ian.”

The plans were set. I couldn’t believe he actually came through. With Oliver, our plans were always shot to hell, he cancelled more often than not. I knew it was because of her… his fiancee. Jesus, Jenny… let him go.

Looking at my phone, I realised there was still six hours until Ian was coming to pick me up. Shouldn’t let a good bath go to waste. I swiped my phone open and dialled the number that Claire had given me to reach her, it was about time I should check in, see how things were going.

On the third ring she picked up, “Hello?”

“Hi, Claire. This is Jenny, just wanted to call and see how yer doin’.”

“Oh, hi Jenny!” She replied, it sounded like she was outside somewhere, kids were screeching, “I’m doing well, just out…”

“’Tis great to hear. I should warn ye that my wee brother might pop by, have ye met him?” There was no response on her end at first, it sounded like she was talking to someone, all I heard was the word “tree”.

“Oh, sorry Jenny and yes… I’ve met Jamie. Actually he came round the first night I arrived.”

Just as I started to reply that she should stay away from Jamie for he was more trouble than naught, my phone beeped with an incoming call, “Claire, will ye hold real quick, I think that’s Jamie tryin’ to call. Won’t be but a moment.”

“Sure, of course.” She said and I put her on hold and answered Jamie’s call.

“Jenny! I didna know ye were even goin’ to America,” Jamie said as soon as I answered him.

“Hello to ye too, brother. I needed a break from my miserable life, ye ken. I was just talkin’ to Claire,” at the mention of her name I heard Jamie make a small gasp, “and she said she met ye, promise me brother ye didna fool around wi’ her… she’s a respectable woman.”

He laughed, almost awkwardly and I took notice of the fact that it sounded like he was outside, the sounds of children screaming — much like they were in the background of Claire’s call.

“Jamie, I have Claire on the other line, will ye hold on just a wee moment?”

I didn’t wait for his response but switched back over to Claire, “Hello, sorry about that, Claire.”

“Oh it’s no problem.” Just then I heard a small voice say, “Claire, can you tell daddy that I like this tree?” And then there was a muffled sound and the faintest of responses from Claire, “Yes, of course Bree darling, when he comes back from taking Faith to the loo, you can show him yourself.”

“Sorry, Jenny, this isn’t the best time to talk, can I call you back in a little bit?”

“Aye, ye can, ’tis no problem.” She hung up and my blood was boilin’, I switched back to talk to Jamie.

“Jamie Fraser! Ye didna go to my house and bed Claire, the woman stayin’ in my house!”

“This is Claire….” Came the voice on the other line, apparently she had not hung up and I had not switched back to talk with Jamie.

“Christ, Claire…. I’m verra sorry, that was meant for —“

“Jamie. It wasn’t all his fault, don’t blame him for it, please.” She said and it genuinely sounded like she cared for my brother, she was with his children somewhere after all.

“Claire, Jamie’s on the other line, I’ll just talk to him now if ye dinna mind.”

“No it’s alright. I’ll make sure to hang up this time,” she laughed.

I checked my phone twice to see that it was in fact Jamie I was now speaking to, “Jamie Fraser…. Ye wee fool.”

“How’d ye know, Jenny?” He said.

“I told ye I was just talkin’ to Claire… I could hear wee Brianna in the background and there was a misunderstandin’ on the phone but dinna fash about that.” The bubbles were disintegrating into the water of the bath and I knew I would need to get out soon.

“Dinna hurt her, brother. I ken it’s been awhile since ye felt anythin’ for a woman but dinna hurt her. She’s a kind, good lass.”

“Ye’ve never even met her, Jenny.” Jamie said and I heard the sound of the toilet flush. Ah, so he was with Faith, taking her to the bathroom somewhere.

“Och, yer right. I havena and I’d very much like to, she’s been kind, opening her house to me and takin’ care of Bouton while she’s been there.” I sighed and rested my head on my hand.

“I need to go, Jenny. Bree is askin’ for something.”

“Alright, brother. Ye dinna forget my words.”

“Aye, alright.” He hung up and the room was back to silence. Christ… my idiot of a brother had bedded the woman stayin’ in my house. Claire said she didna want any men but apparently Jamie swayed her on that stance.

CLAIRE BEAUCHAMP

I shoved my phone back down into my coat pocket and walked around with Bree, holding her hand as we looked to find the perfect Christmas tree.

“Are we going to have hot chocolate, Claire?” I almost didn’t hear her question, my mind was racing with thoughts of what Jenny must be saying to Jamie just now.

Shaking my head, I gave her little hand a squeeze, “Of course we will, daddy promised didn’t he?” She laughed and pressed herself to my side, hugging my leg.

“Ye found a tree?” Jamie asked as he walked back to us, Faith strolling beside him.

“Yes, Da! This one,” Bree let go of my hand and pointed both hands towards the tall fir in front of us. Jamie looked at me, one ruddy eyebrow quirked.

“It’s bonny, lass.” Both girls squealed with delight and began to dance around the tree. Jamie came to stand next to me, “So… Jenny knows.” I laughed and wrapped my arm around his waist.

“Yes, I rather think she does,” Jamie grinned and kissed my cheek.

He gripped my hand and looked over at the girls, still chanting and dancing around the tree. Jamie pulled me to the side, hidden amongst the green pine and kissed me. His hands tangled in my hair and his mouth tasted like peppermint. Jamie absolutely took my breath away.

Ian arrived promptly at seven to take me ice skating at an outdoor rink. I’d never actually been ice skating before… not that he needs to know that.

“What really made ye cross the pond for Christmas? Surely ye have family to spend it with in Scotland?” Ian asked as we walked from the car to the rink, a light fall of snow swirling around us.

“There was a lad, a fool really. And I was a fool for fallin’ for him when he wasna interested in me.” I wrapped my arms around myself to keep warm.

“Unrequited love, eh? The worst kind.” Ian gave me a kind smile and nudged my arm with his elbow.

“And what about ye? Will ye be spendin’ Christmas wi’ yer girlfriend?” I had to ask, if they weren’t serious then would this be considered a date?

Ian winced slightly, an obvious sore subject. “We broke up actually, two days ago.” He looked ahead, “She was cheatin’ on me.”

“Oh, Ian… I’m so sorry. She wasna any good then, anyways.” Reaching out, I put my hand on his arm and kept it there, sliding it in the crook of his elbow and he placed his other hand on mine, keeping it there.

“Och, we werena serious but it still hurts, ye ken?”

“Aye, I do.” I knew all too well the pain of the heart.

“I like talkin’ wi’ ye Jenny,” Ian smiled, we approached the entrance to the rink and got in line to pay for tickets. “Maybe it’s because ye can understand what I’m sayin’… my accent I mean.” Laughing, he paid and grabbed our wristbands from the attendant.

“I like talkin’ wi’ ye too, Ian. Ye’ve been verra kind to me since I arrived when ye didna have to.”

Ian looked over at me and paused, “Of course I would be kind to ye, ye deserve kindness, Jenny. Every bit of it.”

Christ, this man.

I could have stared into his eyes all night but a nudge from behind us broke the spell. We walked over to collect our skates and found a bench to sit down and lace up. When Ian removed his shoes, I couldn’t help but stare. He had a prosthetic leg.

“Och, I know.” He saw my gaze on his leg and I blushed, embarrassed for staring. “I dinna tell many people about it. Happened so long ago, the accident.”

“Ye dinna have to tell me,” I reached out to grab his hand.

“I want to, Jenny.” He smiled, “It was a motorcycle crash, I was bein’ an idiot and went around a turn too quick… my bike slid right into the mountain and my leg was crushed.” He winced, remembering the pain.

“Must have been stuck out there for hours before I got help. By the time I got in the ambulance, there was no savin’ my leg.”

“Oh Ian, I’m so sorry. That musta been terrible.” He squeezed my fingers.

“Aye, it was. But I got through it,” he smiled and released my hand to return to putting on his skates, “and I wouldna change a thing, it made me who I am today.”

My stupid mouth talked before I knew I was even sayin’ it, “Can ye even skate wi’ that thing?”

Laughing he tied the last bow on the skate, “Probably not. Guess I’ll lean on ye for support.” He winked and I momentarily forgot how to breathe.

“Well dinna look at me, Ian Murray, I dinna ken how to skate either!” I joined in his laughing and we both stood shakily to our feet.

We fell maybe ten times, both taking our fair share of spills on the ice. He wasn’t good at turning and I wasn’t good at simply standing up. Ian’s hands tended to linger on my waist and I found that I didn’t mind. Together we were hopeless and after twenty minutes of laughing with tears in our eyes we abandoned the ice and left to grab dinner in a warm cafe instead.

The entire night we talked about our families, our careers and our love for Scotland. Ian always said he wanted to one day move back home and I prayed to God he would.

“There’s a party,” I said, “For Joe at the hospital in a few days and I was wonderin’ if ye’d like to come?”

Ian sipped on his hot chocolate, “Aye, that’d be great!” He grinned, a mischievous look in his eye, “Will that be our second date then?”

Ah, so this was a date after all.

This got outta hand so quickly. But here was my overall answer:

I follow a lot of seventeen blogs. Like a lot. But I also follow a lot of people who are generally nice and who have cute tags because they help brighten up my day. I like art blogs and those calming aesthetic blogs because they make my dash prettier. And I follow my in-real-life friends like @leechansthighs and @verifiedspheniscidae and @vernaans no matter their content (although their blogs are all still A+ content and I’d probably follow them regardless). And I like @myetie so much that I played Mystic Messenger just to better understand what was going on in her artwork because her art is cute and funny and I stumbled upon it accidentally so I had to catch up. 

But to get specific? Hmmm, well, in no particlar order…. 

Of course I have my mutuals like @miiinghao @kimbapkidding @thatgirlcatt13 @jeonwonxwoo and @kw0njisol who I probably forgot to reply to like 3 billion years ago in chat but are still amazing and I love with my soul but am too nervous to say anything to because I know the only reason we’ve stopped talking is because I’m disorganized af. 

And then, well, @fyhoshi probably dominates my dashboard with HD Hoshi pics (not that I mind, really). Seriously, if you’re a Hoshi stan, follow them (you likely already are). You won’t regret it. In a very similar way, if you’re a Woozi stan, then you’ve gotta follow @woozioppa for all her constant updates and flooding of your dashboard. Just from following her, Woozi jumped like 5 spots on my bias list because of all the Woozi content.

@pristeen-23 is honestly such a good friend (used to write on her blog but not anymore,,, GIRL I’M STILL MOURNING). She’s friends with so many people because she’s a beautiful human being and deserves to be loved and rolled into a warm blanket and fed good food bye. 

OKAY so who hasn’t heard of @woozifi? Honestly, whether it’s for Tessa’s art or Tessa’s writing (CHECK OUT HER AO3), she excels in whatever she does. Talk about multitalented. Her commissions are open here. 

I like art blogs a lot!!! @bodtster was probably the first fan art blog I ever followed and I am lowkey,,, in love,,, with Annie and her work (her personal @sailorpeach is hella aesthetic if you also wanna check that out.) Her commissions are open right here.

@94wnd Graphics man, graphics. She’s the pop of colour on my dash that always makes me stop and go “ooOoOhh” because her graphics are so vibrant and pleasing. And her writing is great too! Definition of that one mom friend who always makes you feel like honey, starlight, and warm hugs on a Thursday afternoon. She makes me feel good about my angst and I love reading her tags okay. 

I frickin love memes and shitposts, and I recently discovered @amemericans [I know, I know, y’all are all like “where have you been?” and ur rite where have I been?]. They’ve got the best memes in the business. We have recently formed the idol group Clickb8,,, and are accepting all applications – so rhymes, limericks, and haikus thx. 

@incorrect7teen always makes me laugh with her incorrect quotes and love for DK,,, She’s really sweet and interactive too. Her little window into her daily life and thoughts is really so entertaining, and one can’t help but want to be friends ^^

@doyomi has some great incorrect NCT quotes, so if any NCTzens are floating around. @gwikimchi is her main blog but she has like a million blogs that I apparently don’t follow even though I know them by heart??? FRICK I’M THE DAMN WORST. ( @lordyoungho for kpop horoscopes and @sebooty-lyfe for writing). 

Choco from @choco-seventeen is such a sweetheart and her writing is stunning. Legit, her writing will probably make you want to cry. Heck, I have cried while reading her writing. And I will continue to cry because she always gets better and better and is always looking to improve and wow everything she does motivates me. 

Did you know that if you looked up talent in the dictionary you’ll get @hansolmates? Legit when I saw her writing for the first time I blanched. I wish man, I wish. Her timing is terrific, her fluff makes me melt, and her angst makes me jealous. I wish I had an ounce of her skill. 

Another art blog I follow is @cutiepatoodieart, who never fails to impress. Joey’s style is absolutely breathtaking and I love her art so so much. As well, she always says what’s on her mind without holding back, which I think is admirable. Her commissions are also very open right here.

@hoshbrownie is precious. Absolutely precious. Eva will talk to you and make you feel like you matter. She will think about you and tag you in things and I’m actually teary-eyed because she’s so precious and every not-so-anonymous anon (hoshbrownie i see u) I get from her makes me so happy. 

@svt-husbands THE WELL OILED AND FAST WORKING MACHINE. You guys know who they are, of course you do. Great quality writing at insane speeds, these guys are everything I want to be bye. I remember first talking to one of the admins @squishteen , and I was like ??? How do such interesting people exist ??? She’s amazing and writes on her main as well, go follow her. I more recently started talking to @jeongguktm, and can confirm that yes she is as adorable and kind as one might expect her to be. ALSO JUST REALIZED THAT I RECENTLY MISSED HER BIRTHDAY and tf is wrong with me, this isn’t how you make friends. Happy belated birthday sweets

Jackie from @tookorean lowkey intimidates me because everything she does turns to gold. She’s hard working and loves Woozi and if that’s not enough reason to follow then I don’t know what is. Sometimes translates, sometimes does this. Another multitalented goddess on our hands, this is getting overwhelming. 

@vitaminniedk just read her tags and you’ll understand why I follow her. She also has probably the best theme around? Vivienne is as much of a sunshine as her bias, and you’ve probably seen her gifs floating around. 

Gen from @wonnhao is a gif goddess that you are probably all aware of and her interactions are really cute too so of course I’m following her. Aren’t you? 

@wasabi-duck who is on an indefinite hiatus but you should still see her writing anyway. She was the sole person who attracted me to the bullet-point style that’s getting more and more popular around here these days. My friends and I would like read her stories out loud at lunch over sandwiches and I feel nostalgic just writing this. She’s also very kind and I like the stuff she reblogs on her main @clockwork-lullaby.

@mounteenbase is back from the dead so check her out! Lots of fun lil blurbs and bullet-point fics. Fluff master and a lowkey meme master. Very cute and easy to talk to, fun and interesting as one can see from her main blog @mounteenbase-main. 

@saythename17scenarios is graceful. Perhaps that’s not the right word but heaven knows my vocabulary isn’t extensive enough to describe how I feel about Kimbap Mom. Her writing is distinctive and tactful, and she often finds the greatest of beauty in the simplest of concepts. One day she might write a full length multi-part fic and I will be here eagerly awaiting each update because I’m trash for her. 

@moodboards-and-profiles flowers and unicorns and everything pure. When we first talked she was legit one of the most encouraging people I’ve ever met, and I’m sure that remains the same despite our lack of communication! Actually has some really cute moodboards (that she should tag because she can gain some major attention winkwinknudgenudgeshoveshove). 

Oh and recently I started following @askjournalismsvt and this is probably my favourite SVT Tumblr AU ever. Sam and Kei perfectly portray Seventeen as members of the “Diamond City University journalism department” and answer questions with the cutest of doodles ack. They’re also hilarious and I want to be this funny. 

And whilst writing this, @puppetwritings popped into my head even though I just followed her like now. She was the first fanfic account that I got into way before I actually made an account and since I didn’t have an account I would just check her Tumblr constantly and put her in my bookmarks. I got busy after a while and then made my account after another while, but I can’t believe I forgot to follow such a phenomenal writer.
