Having a phenomenal mental map + mental compass is good for many reasons but specifically rn it was very useful in losing a car that was following me in a neighborhood I've never driven thru before 🤙
#shut up max#only reason i was suspect at first that they were following me was cause they kept changing lanes when i did#and then they followed me into a turn lane without using their blinker#so i was like 'hmm' cause i was trying to go to the bank so i turned and then just kept going instead of going to the bank#and pulled into a neighborhood and there was a lil like C shape type road that offshoots for more houses#so i turned into that cause the only reason theyd follow me there is if they lived in one of those five houses or if they were following me#and sure enough they followed me through it so i sped up#got stuck at a red light unfortunately but the turn lane cleared up so i turned right (even tho the sign had switched to no right on red)#and they kept following me so i turned into a road that most people assume is a dead end#cause the main road ends there and it only has a gas station on one side and an apartment on the other#but they dont know that The apartment complex has a second entrance that enters into another neighborhood. so i sped thru there#and lost em after that. unfortunately i had to hit a few harsh speed bumps but no harm done really#anyways i was able to get myself out onto another main road despite the fact that ive never gone that way before 👍#and now im home so. im not worried or anything#idk how long the car had been following me but i dont think he had followed me from work so#i think it was just someone mad or bored or sumn
